Liam Payne doesn’t have a daily skincare routine

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne doesn’t have a skincare routine.
The 27-year-old singer admitted he’s “not organised enough” to stick to a daily regime but he does use collagen creams day and night to maintain his flawless complexion.
He explained: “Day collagen and night collagen are the only things that I would say I really use. And then, a couple of different moisturisers. But I wish I was as organised [enough] to have a routine.”
The ’Strip That Down’ singer – who is engaged to model Maya Henry – is the face of Hugo Boss’ iconic men’s fragrance, Hugo Man, which is relaunching.
And Liam says the notes of green apple, fresh mint, lavender, sage, fire balsam, cedar wood and patchouli smell like “a good feeling” to him.
He told People: “It’s fresh. It feels great. And for me … I mean I’m biased, because I have the whole different story behind shooting the campaign. Every time I spray it, it kind of takes me back to being on that rooftop in Berlin. For me, it’s a good feeling.”
The new release of the classic fragrance comes with a bottle and outer box designed with sustainability in mind and is “inspired by the power of self-expression.”
Liam – who has three-year-old son Bear with ex-partner Cheryl Tweedy – agreed: “If you don’t express yourself in the right way, then you just never really make it. It’s very easy to copy other people who are doing well and you can see are quite successful.
“I think that’s one of the battles that we have to maintain with ourselves every day doing this job. So, it’s very important.”
The One Direction star first partnered with Hugo Boss in 2019, when they signed him up to be the new face of their younger-skewed label, and he has since joined the German fashion house on a number of collaborations.

Burberry updates its archive with new limited-edition collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Burberry has updated its archive with a new limited-edition collection designed by Riccardo Tisci.
The iconic fashion house’s Chief Creative Officer has put a modern spin on Burberry’s signatures with the new capsule collection “inspired by the brand’s rich heritage”.
Burberry’s Future Archive boasts outerwear such as diamond-quilted coats, bomber and field jackets.
Plus tailored jackets and trousers, accessories for both men and women, including bucket hats, backpacks, scarves, and cube bags.
Alessio Bolzoni was responsible for shooting the campaign, which captures the “dualistic contrast between modernity and timelessness”, and stars models Jourdan Dunn and Adrian Chabada.
The collection is available at Burberry stores, burberry.com and exclusively through Mytheresa from January 5.
It comes after Burberry celebrated the Year of the Ox with another recent campaign.
The designer label took inspiration from the Chinese New Year for a collection boasting a mix of bold plaid prints, ox illustrations, and horn-adorned baseball caps, a fresh take on Tisci’s iconic logo.
The campaign starred Chinese supermodel Liu Wen in a series of outdoor shots by Feng Li, which pay “homage to mother nature”.
The 32-year-old beauty wrote on Instagram: “In 2008, I attended a runway casting and opened a huge door of opportunity: my first ever international fashion show, with the team @burberry. This year, we have a special reunion through this Chinese New Year campaign, which pays homage to mother nature.
“I am so honored to be part of this project with @riccardotisci17 and be photographed by @fenglee313 Just as that first opportunity gave me momentum and motivation, the beauty of our environment continues to energize me, encouraging me to keep steadfast on the path of life. In this new year, I hope we all feel rejuvenated to start anew! (sic)”

Gwen Stefani hired someone to ‘knock off looks’ for her in the 90s

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwen Stefani’s “iconic” 90s outfits were created by one girl who would “knock-off looks” for her.
The ‘Just a Girl’ hitmaker was known for her bold hair colours, punk chains, big prints and signature red lipstick in the 90s and noughties.
However, she didn’t have a stylist during her touring days with No Doubt, instead she had a girl who would put together ensembles and post them to the 51-year-old ska star.
In an interview with Vogue.co.uk, Gwen recalled: “I didn’t consciously make them ‘looks’ back then.
“On tour, I didn’t have a stylist. I had one girl who would knock-off looks for me — she’d make my cargo pants by going downtown and pulling fabrics, sending them to me, stapled to a piece of paper with a number, and then I’d go, ‘I want yellow bondage pants, use that trim.’ Then she’d FedEx them to me on tour. So it’s incredible how those outfits have stood the test of time. They are iconic.”
The ‘Let Me Reintroduce Myself’ singer – who has Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and six-year-old Apollo with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale – revealed her eldest child has taken an interest in his mom’s career and after looking back at her style, Gwen realised that many elements of her style are still on trend today.
She said: “Sometimes I can see my style, especially right now because it feels like there’s ’90s nostalgia in terms of fashion. I have a 14-year-old son, so he had a lot to do with me reinvestigating myself and taking me back to when I discovered ska music.”
Still to this day, the ‘Hollaback Girl’ hitmaker’s ensembles more often than not have some kind of customisation to match her uniqueness and she still rocks a red lip.
Her stylist Sonja Christensen recently reflected on Gwen’s ever-evolving style over the years, and how she has “embraced her feminine side and her iconic tomboy style” and has never been “afraid to take risks”.
She said: “From the ’90s compared to today, I’d characterise Gwen’s style as a beautiful evolution; a mix of pop, punk, a hint of country meets high fashion, and a bit sexy. Just as she’s evolved as an artist, so has her style. She has really embraced her feminine side and her iconic tomboy style from back then. She has added more pink, a little sparkle, and fringe. Gwen isn’t afraid to take risks, which is why she is the style icon that she is today.”

Alexa Chung has an “idiot-proof” make-up routine

OHMYGOSSIP — Alexa Chung has an “idiot-proof” make-up routine.
The 37-year-old fashion designer achieves her minimal and “presentable” daily look in just 10 minutes.
Speaking to ELLE, she said: “My make-up routine takes 10 minutes. I start with a hydrating moisturiser, such as Augustinus Bader. Then I curl my lashes, put on concealer and Code8’s Radiate Beauty Balm – it’s idiot-proof. To extend that routine, I’ll do my brows and add mascara and eyeliner. If I’m in the design studio, I just try to look presentable.”
Alexa also confessed that she has a habit of committing a skincare sin and popping her spots in the mirror instead of leaving them to clear up.
She admitted: “My worst beauty habit is popping my spots at the wrong moment. I get really beastly ones that are like volcanoes.”
The ‘Next in Fashion’ co-host has found the perfect method to deal with the stress in her life by either soaking in a hot bath with lavender oil or sweating it out at the gym to clear her head.
She explained: “I deal with stress by running a bath with lavender oil and lighting my Byredo Altar candle, or cooking while listening to Classic FM. It makes me feel like a classy person living in Oxford. I lived in a state of perpetual stress for a number of years and now I’m out of it.
“In older age I’ve learnt that exercise is really good for your mental health for sure and not taking on too much, it’s ok to say no. I used to feel indebted to people to make plans but now if I’m tired from work I just cancel and most people are actually relieved, instead of bringing bad vibes to the pub.”

Naomi Watts reveals the secret to her flawless complexion is avoiding sunbathing

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Watts avoids sunbathing at the beach.
The 52-year-old actress has claimed the secret to younger-looking skin is to keep out of the sun, and while she loves nothing more than to feel the sand between her toes, she tries not to spend too many hours soaking up the rays in order to maintain her youthful complexion.
She told Vogue Australia: “I love the beach but … not for baking oil into my skin and tanning. I like it for the feel of sand and crunching between your toes. I like the wind and the wispy hair.”
Naomi recently admitted she is trying to “embrace the ageing process” as she grows older and notices more lines and wrinkles.
She said: “I just think you have to embrace the ageing process. There are going to be good days, and there are going to be bad days.”
But the best piece of skincare advice the ‘King Kong’ star ever received was to get eight hours sleep each night and to drink two litres of water every day.
She added: “I can tell right away if I’ve had a good night’s sleep and if I drank the right amount of water the day before. If I don’t do well on both of those things, it absolutely manifests in my skin.”
Meanwhile, Naomi – who co-owns Onda Beauty – previously said the “movement” toward using clean and natural ingredients has “resonated” with her and she has gotten older. The ‘Loudest Voice’ star said: “I think for many women, from their mid-forties, life can become more complicated – ageing, hormones, anxiety, sleep, the whole thing – so this movement has really resonated for me.”I’m fully on-board with admitting that it takes a lot of work and commitment to stay sane, and it gets harder. We get more vulnerable, we get more delicate and fragile as we face our mortality. I know that’s dark thinking, but it’s honest.”

‘You want to have beautiful hands, too’: Jennifer Lopez uses facial cleanser on her fingers

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez uses her JLo Beauty cleanser on her fingers as well – because “you want to have beautiful hands, too”.
The 51-year-old singer-and-actress – who launched her eponymous brand on January 1 – took off all of her make-up to reveal her natural beauty in an IGTV video as she shared her beauty routine with her 137 million followers.
She told her team in the video: “Are you guys ready to wash away 2020?”
She said of her glam from her New Year’s Eve (31.12.20) performance: “It’s a lot of make-up, it’s a lot of make-up, and I’m ready to wash it off.”
The ‘In The Morning’ singer then revealed that she uses the serum, which aims to tighten the skin and give an “instant glow”, on her fingers as well as her face and neck.
She said: “It leaves you with a little bit of a glow when you’re done.
“I sent this formula back maybe 20 times, was to make sure it had a tightening and an instant glow effect … then I use the extra on my fingers, because you want to have beautiful hands, too … I want you to notice something: I had a full face of make-up on and my skin was glowing. I just took off the make-up. I have no make-up on my face … I put the serum on. I have more glow bare skin than I did when I had the make-up on. And this is my mission with JLo Beauty to make you feel beautiful in your own skin. When it’s just you. Not when you have to put on fillers and filters and all this stuff that we do on social media to feel beautiful. This is where you want to feel the most beautiful.”

Emma Heming Willis launching body care brand in US

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Heming Willis is launching her body care brand in the US this month.
The 42-year-old model – who has Evelyn, six, and Mabel, eight, with husband Bruce Willis – first launched Cocobaba in Germany in 2016 after she found coconut oil to be incredibly helpful with smoothing out her stretch marks when she was pregnant with her first child.
She WWD: “I was looking for a clean, effective skin-care line. I’m just genetically prone to stretch marks. I didn’t see anything on the market at the time that was what I was looking for, so I went toward an old family favourite which was just coconut oil. My grandma used it for cooking, for everything. My mom used it on me … I came out stretch-mark-free and was just shocked.”
Now, Emma is expanding her brand in the new market, with the body scrub, body oil and butter mousse set to be available in the US.
The vegan line is dermatologically tested and free of silicones, parabens and mineral oils and was recently reformulated, having the fragrance removed.
She added: “I want moms to have that bit of luxury. You know, being a mom is tough. It’s hard to juggle, and self-care just goes to the wayside when you’re a new mom. I’m really just wanting to nurture these moms.”
Meanwhile, Emma reunited with her husband in May after Bruce decided to quarantine with his ex-wife Demi Moore and their kids, Rumer, 32, Scout, 29, and Tallulah, 26.
Emma shared videos on Instagram of Bruce, 65, playing fetch with their dogs and trying his hand at archery, and also posted photos of him playing with their daughters.
While Rumer posted a video of the whole family celebrating Evelyn’s sixth birthday by teaching her to ride a bike.
Emma also shared the same video and wrote: “A big day over here! Not only did the baby of family turn 6, she decided to take those training wheels off (sic)”

Sterling K. Brown: My female friends helped with my skincare routine

OHMYGOSSIP — Sterling K. Brown took advice from his female friends for his skincare routine.
The 44-year-old actor knew he needed to take his skincare to the next level when his wife, actress Ryan Michelle Bathe, also 44, his female pals introduced him to different products to give him healthy skin.
In a recent video interview with GQ titled ’10 Things Sterling K. Brown Can’t Live Without’, he said: “I’m an actor, obviously, and you have to have some kind of skincare regime. Before, when you’re a kid, whether it’s just a Neutrogena or Noxzema, you do what you can. But then you get a little bit older, you find out some tricks, you marry somebody, you have female friends and they’re like, ‘Look, it’s time for you to step up your game.’
“So, these products I find to be some of the best that I’ve ever used in my life. They are made by – get ready for the name butchered here – Biologique Recherche. I don’t speak French but I want this company to know that I absolutely adore your product. This is the toner, P50, and they have a couple of moisturisers that I use as well. So big up to Biologique Recherche.”
The ‘This Is Us’ star also incorporated a lip balm in his routine to help keep his “full-figured lips” from getting chapped as he hates to walk around with split lips.
He added: “Oh s***. I don’t know if you guys have noticed but I am African-American. Not only am I African-American, but I’m an African-American with a sizeable mouth, full-figured lips, if you will, right? I’m cool with it just as long as you’re cool with it. But here’s the thing, you can’t walk around with these things chapped. It’s not a good look.
“So I got this Norwegian Formula Lip Moisturiser that I absolutely adore. What I love about it is that it fully moisturisers my lips without making them shiny, because big-ass shiny lips are not a good look. Let me tell you something, I gets no complaints.”

Charlotte Rampling stars in Saint Laurent campaign

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Rampling stars as a “mysterious and haunted priestess” in Saint Laurent’s short film ‘Summer of ’21’.
The 74-year-old actress appears alongside a number of high fashion models in the short promo for the fashion house’s Summer 2021 collection by Argentine filmmaker Gaspar Noé and brand creative director Anthony Vaccarello.
Vaccarello said: “I wanted to focus on the essence of things. I think it’s a sign of the times, but I didn’t want anything bleak or heavy.”
The film starts in a grand estate with a number of models, including Anok Yai, Antonia Przedpelski, Assa Baradji, Aylah Mae Peterson, Clara Deshayes, Grace Hartzel, Kim Schell, Mica Arganaraz, Miriam Sanchez, Sora Choi and Stefania Cristian, wandering through the eerie mansion dressed head-to-toe in garments from the collection.
They gather in a theatre-like setting in front of a stage before a haunted Rampling appears before their eyes in a bed of rose petals.
The press release added: “A familiar and timeless feeling. Dreaminess and tension, decadence and danger. The unsettling strangeness of those girls gravitating around Charlotte Rampling, the mysterious and haunted priestess.”
It follows Noé’s first short film for Saint Laurent ‘Lux Aeterna’ which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019.
Meanwhile, Rampling previously admitted she will not be going under the knife to rejuvenate her youthful looks after experimenting with treatments.
She said: “I did a bit but very little — like putting collagen in the lines — and nothing really changed my face so I ended up not doing it anymore.
And I couldn’t face going into surgery and coming out and looking at my face. What would I see? Probably a cleaner face with the lines wiped out. But I wouldn’t be seeing myself. I just couldn’t comprehend that. Whatever happens, I will carry on with my face as it is. But it hasn’t worked out too badly.”

Pat McGrath becomes a Dame in Queen’s New Years Honours list

OHMYGOSSIP — Pat McGrath has been made a Dame on the Queen’s New Years Honours list.
The 50-year-old make-up artist will be awarded a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) after she was recognised by the British monarch for the second time.
Pat was first honoured in 2014 with the title MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) thanks to her work in fashion and beauty.
This year, Pat has been recognised for her work in bringing diversity to the fashion and beauty industry as she has often spoken out about her experience as a woman of colour.
She said: “I am truly delighted and humbled to be given this wonderful honour. My mother’s obsession with beauty and fashion ignited my passion for this amazing industry and I feel blessed to have the privilege of working with some of the most extraordinary people throughout my career.
“Colour across the spectrum is my life’s work and inspiration and I celebrate individuality particularly with my brand Pat McGrath Labs, so I am especially honoured that this award is also for diversity. I believe that with creativity and resilience there can be abundant possibilities and that is certainly true today with this award.”
Pat previously revealed it was her mother that inspired her career in beauty as she encouraged her daughter to experiment with colours and textures as there was limited availability for their skin tone.
She recalled: “She would always be saying to me, ‘look for the colours’, and she showed me how to pick out colours in fabrics and then reflect that in your makeup.
“She hothoused me into this career, really! But my mother would do a full makeup look every day.”

Selena Gomez Googles herself to look back on her outfit choices

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez Googles herself to look back on her outfit choices.
The 28-year-old megastar has confessed she sometimes cringes when she stumbles on a snap of herself wearing something “horrendous”, but she knows that in the moment she felt “cool”.
She told Into The Gloss: “Sometimes I Google myself and look at what I wore last year – it kind of sucks to see when you got it wrong, but it’s nice to have that instant yearbook. Oh my God – there was this time when I went to the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party and I wore a shirt that said ‘Hotter than’ something, and a belt with these weird net-y tights and boots, and like, a sock – it looked horrendous and then I put a blue streak in my hair. And I remember, I looked in the mirror and I was like – ‘I feel so cool.’ And I mean, that’s awesome that I felt so good. But I cringe looking at it now.”
The ‘Lose You To Love Me’ hitmaker insisted that as long as what she’s wearing makes her feel “happy”, that’s all that matters, whilst she explained that it’s impossible to define her style because it changes all the time.
She added: “But I never wear anything for any purpose other than making myself happy. So I love dressing up, I like trying new things. I’m inspired by music constantly, too – you can get away with more daring looks, like a ton of glitter that’ll look awesome in certain lighting. I don’t think you should ever have to ‘define your style’ because when you’re 22, you probably aren’t going to dress the same way you did when you were 16. You can define it for maybe a year at a time and that’s it.”

Drew Barrymore hasn’t ‘figured out’ self-care

OHMYGOSSIP — Drew Barrymore has not “figured out” self-care yet.
The 45-year-old actress – who has eight-year-old Olive and six-year-old Frankie with ex-husband Will Kopelman – took to Instagram to discuss her relationship with making time to focus on herself after taking a “rare” bath and admitted it’s something she’s hoping to feature on her eponymous chat show.
Speaking on an IGTV video titled ‘2021 personal goals come play with me!’, she admitted: “I don’t know about that whole self-care and taking more time for yourself. I have not figured that out. I am trying to meet balance where she is at and sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t.”
Sharing some of her goals for next year, she added: “Healthy is going to be the mission of 2021 and I had a lot of practice with it in 2020 – I will say that.
“Mental, physical, heart, diet, exercise, trying to navigate the new world. Give, see, listen, all of it.”
Meanwhile, the ’50 First Dates’ star previously revealed she wants her older daughter, Olive, to take over her Flower Beauty business some day.
She said: “If she could play with make-up all day long every day, she would be so happy. I always tell her, ‘I hope that you maintain your interest in this because if we were ever to be successful enough as a brand to keep going, I would want you to work with us. To run things.’ She also wants to be a veterinarian, so we’ll see which way the pendulum swings.”
Drew recently took to Twitter to share how “proud” she is that her own cruelty-free make-up line is available at 3,000 CVS Stores in the US.
She wrote: “I am so proud to say that @flowerbeauty is now available in 3,000 @cvs_beauty stores across the USA ! Have you spotted #FLOWERBeauty at your local @cvspharmacy ?? Tag us if so!! #FLOWERBeauty @ New York, New York (sic)

Behati Prinsloo shares never-before-seen snap of her Alexander Wang wedding gown

OHMYGOSSIP — Behati Prinsloo has shared a never-before-seen photograph of her wedding dress.
The 32-year-old model – who tied the knot with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, 41, in 2014 – took to her Instagram Story to wish the gown’s designer Alexander Wang a happy birthday over the weekend.
And fans got to see the plunging bridal gown in all its glory.
First of all, Behati shared a snap of her embracing the designer and captioned the post: “So many memories together!!!!”
The Namibian beauty – whose wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico was officiated by actor Jonah Hill – then showed a full-length shot of the dress and wrote: “This dress you made for my wedding. I’m still not over it haha!”
Meanwhile, the Victoria’s Secret Angel – who has four-year-old Dusty and two-year-old Gio with husband Adam Levine – previously revealed her own personal wardrobe became “elevated” when she began her career in 2006 because she was learning so much from people in the “industry”.
She said: “I would say that my career has affected my style more than becoming a mother. I have just learnt so much from people in the industry. I have always loved fashion and I love watching people express themselves, so becoming a mother hasn’t really changed my style – I feel like it just elevated that a bit. I love jeans, that’s what I always lived in and I still live in them.
“I think I have always felt so lucky in my career and in my life as a model and I have always felt so grateful for the opportunities that I’ve had. I think after becoming a mother, I definitely have become more selective because I want to spend as much time with my kids, especially as they are so young.”
