Rihanna unveils Savage x Fenty Valentine’s Day 2021 campaign

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty brand has unveiled their Valentine’s Day 2021 campaign.
The ‘Love On The Brain’ singer appears in a racy red lingerie set, complete with love heart nipple covers on the bra and matching latex gloves and stockings, in the eye-popping ad for the forthcoming collection.
Alongside the clip posted on Instagram, a caption teases: “Oh, you thought you was our only Valentine?! That’s cute. #XXSavageX (sic)”
The campaign – which was shot by Dennis Leupold – also stars R&B star Miguel and his wife Nazanin Mandi.
The collection includes the Candy Hearts line, Seamless Fishnet edit, Linking Hearts pieces, as well as a violet satin sleepwear set for men.
Rihanna – who is dating rapper A$AP Rocky – said of the upcoming holiday on February 14: “Do that thing that you love the most.
“Make it all about you and your boo will benefit. If it makes you feel good and makes you feel sexy, then just do it.”
The inclusive brand fits sizes 32A to 42DD and XS to 3X and launches via Savagex.com on February 14.
The 32-year-old singer recently said Savage X Fenty’s “inclusivity” is very important.
She said: “Inclusivity has always been a part of our brand. That’s not a ‘right now’ thing. It’s sad that it’s right now for most brands. But that’s always been who I am. It’s always been how I operate with everything I’ve done creatively, whether it’s make-up or lingerie. I get really excited to see people be a part of my brand. It’s not like I went into it thinking, ‘Let’s make a movement.’ I feel great that there are women that are feeling like they see themselves on the stage for the first time. And if we can continue to expand on that, we’ve done more than we really started out trying to do.”

The range includes the That JLo Glow Multitasking Serum, That Limitless Glow Multitasking Mask, That Big Screen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Moisturiser, That Blockbuster Wonder Cream, That Hit Single Gel-Creme Cleanser, That Fresh Take Eye Cream and That Star Filter Complexion Booster.
The ‘Second Act’ actress admitted it was her dream for three decades to have her own skincare range.
She captioned a recent video promo for the line: “This isn’t just a passion project, it’s a 30-year dream. I can’t wait to share my skincare secrets with you!! JLO BEAUTY DROPS 1/1/21. Get early access 12/8. #linkinbio to sign up. @JLoBeauty #JLoBeauty #BeautyHasNoExpirationDate @jasonbergh (sic)”
In the clip, she explained further: “As women, people are so ready to write us off.
“I just kept waiting for that to happen and then I realised, ‘No, I’m not going to let that happen.’
“It’s about being limitless. It’s about being powerful and understanding that beauty really doesn’t have an expiration date.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer recently revealed she and fiance Alex Rodriguez “fight” over beauty products.
The couple – who have been engaged since March last year – both love keeping their skin healthy by using a variety of products, and the ‘In The Morning’ singer admitted she’s even had arguments with her man over who gets to use their stash of creams and oils.
She said: “He loves skincare products. As we were trying all of the products, he was always like, ‘What are you doing? What are you using? Let me get two. Give me some. Give me some! Don’t be cheap, come on.’ I’m like, ‘It’s a sample! I have to try it for five days. Like, leave it alone!’ And we would be fighting over the products.”

Keke Palmer: Less is more with beauty

OHMYGOSSIP — Keke Palmer believes “less is more” with beauty.
The 27-year-old actress and singer thinks it is important to find a “balance between doing too much and doing too little” when it comes to both makeup and skincare regimes.
She said: “Less is more. And that goes across the board – less with your regimen, less with your makeup. There’s a way to get coverage with less.
“It’s finding that balance between doing too much and doing too little. I always try to ask myself before I leave the house, ‘Is this too much?'”
And Keke wants to encourage others to accept who they are.
She added: “By accepting what you are … At the end of the day, there are certain things that we can change, but when we haven’t accepted ourselves, those things become even harder to grasp. When you’re beating yourself up and striving for perfection, it makes it hard to improve. And really, all we can and should be focused on is improving every day.
“When you let go of trying to be perfect and instead love and accept yourself for who you are and where you are, and give yourself some grace, you can have a better chance at improving the things you so desperately want to improve.”
The ‘Hustlers’ star also feels it is important for people to know makeup doesn’t cause acne.
Asked which beauty rule she doesn’t believe in, she told Glamour: “That makeup causes acne! I don’t believe that, and I don’t think it’s true. It’s so damn trivial – to blame acne issues solely on makeup. Sometimes it’s diet, and sometimes it’s stress.
“So when people say, ‘It’s makeup. You’re wearing too much.’ That needs to die out. And that’s not me popping up the makeup industry’s head; that’s me saying the truth. It’s actually stopping people from finding the real problem by blaming makeup all the time.”

Halima Aden explains why she quit the fashion industry

OHMYGOSSIP — Halima Aden had “zero excitement” seeing her face on magazine covers.
The 23-year-old model quit the fashion industry recently because she found it so hard to “see herself” on the front of magazines as she felt “so far removed” from the final image.
She said: “I had zero excitement because I couldn’t see myself. Do you know how mentally damaging that can be to be to somebody? When I’m supposed to feel happy and grateful and I’m supposed to relate, because that’s me, that’s my own picture, but I was so far removed. My career was seemingly on top, but I was mentally not happy.”
And Halima – who was born in Kakuma, Kenya – spoke of the importance for her to have control over her own hijab for any modelling work, so much so she would have walked away from a contract if they hadn’t have let her put this as a clause in the paperwork before signing.
Speaking about the first contract she signed, she added: “There are girls who wanted to die for a modelling contract but I was ready to walk away if it wasn’t accepted. I eventually drifted away and got into the confusing grey area of letting the team on-set style my hijab.”
Halima admits she has “anxiety” thinking about the next few months after spending so much time at home during the coronavirus pandemic as she was always away during her career.
Speaking to BBC News, she said: “I was having anxiety thinking of 2021 because I loved staying at home with my family and seeing friends again. I’m grateful for this new chance that Covid gave me. We’re all reflecting about our career paths and asking, ‘Does it bring me genuine happiness, does it bring me joy?'”

Gemma Chan finds “solace” in beauty routine

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Chan has found “solace” in her skincare regime.
The 38-year-old actress has used her beauty routine to help her meditate during the coronavirus lockdown as she noticed taking time to focus on her skin made her feel happier.
She told InStyle: “Creative, experimental, and low-maintenance. I find real calm and solace in my routine. There’s so much in the outside world that we’ve been powerless about. Having time to go through my steps is very meditative.
“At the beginning of lockdown, I stopped wearing makeup or brushing my hair. Then I realized I had to start doing things to feel better. Even if I wasn’t leaving the house, it really cheered me up to put on a bright lipstick or eyeliner. It made me understand that beauty lifts my mood. It’s for me, not anyone else.”
Gemma has a number of go-to products she loves to use but one of her essentials tools has caught some awkward looks but she can’t live without it.
She explained: “There’s a lipstick I love from L’Oréal called Devil’s Matte-Vocate Red; it’s a beautiful classic colour. My Burberry perfume is warm and sensuous and reminds me of a late summer evening in England. For my skin, I use L’Oréal’s Glycolic Acid Cleanser, which is a great exfoliator.
“When my eyes get puffy, I pull out my Foreo Iris massager — it mimics the tapping used in traditional Asian skin care. It looks like a vibrator, so I call it my ‘eyebrator.’ I get funny looks when I use it in the back of a car or when I go through customs at the airport, but it’s so soothing.”

Lauren Hutton: Sex is my beauty secret

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauren Hutton has revealed sex is her beauty secret.
The 77-year-old model believes getting intimate with someone can be great for helping her maintain glowing skin as it is great exercise.
She said: “Making love is pretty good exercise, too! I think it’s important to be held and to hold someone, and to love someone if we can. A man can be hard to find, [because] I think there are way more good women than good men. I don’t know why, I guess that’s because of privilege. They’ve been the head sex for 6,000 years! That’ll make you feel like you’re in a really exclusive club.
“Sex is still absolutely a beauty secret for me – I hope I believe that forever. Although I’ve always talked [about sex], I never spoke about who my mates and partners are, that’s for sure. Nobody ever knew the man I lived with for 26 years – no one knew his name.”
However, the ‘I Feel Pretty’ star admitted the best secret to great skin is having “good photographers” that capture her best side.
She said: “I guess [the secret is] good photographers. It’s not retouching, they don’t retouch me.”
What’s more, Lauren has learned how to care for her skin over the years as her body changed from age and lifestyle habits and has since become “rabid” about moisturiser.
She explained to British Vogue: “My skin has gotten really thin because of my age – I’m 77 – and because I have spent probably half of my life near the equator. [The skin is] our first organ, you know, and the barrier to everything. So I’ve become rabid about moisturiser, and luckily I have a very good medical skincare cream contract, that helps a lot! I used to be more of a soap and water person because I was always trying to be as fast as possible to get to work. Now, I get the pleasure of trying all of Strivectin’s products. It’s really good.”

On what ‘Coach It Forward’ means to her, the ‘In The Morning’ hitmaker – who has 12-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony – said: “So often we are going through the day-to-day motion of life without properly taking a moment to acknowledge the people who drive change in optimism in our lives, community and the world.
“’Coach It Forward’ to me means to pay it forward and to be grateful. I’m thrilled that I had this opportunity to recognise my family and my chosen family of creatives, collaborators, thinkers, doers and friends who have had such a positive impact on my life.”
Jennifer – who is engaged to Alex Rodriguez – rocks a Coach trench coat and satchel bag in the stunning snaps.

I loved having this opportunity to lift up people who are important to me and recognise how their passion and positivity has moved my world forward.”
Jeremy Lin, Yang Zi and Kōki also star in the campaign.

OHMYGOSSIP — Post Malone has helped to donate 10,000 pairs of his sold-out Duet Max Clog II Crocs to frontline workers at 70 US hospitals.
The ‘Better Now’ hitmaker teamed up with the Musicians on Call initiative – a non-profit organisation which “brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities” across the country – to provide the hospital staff with the popular shoe in appreciation of the sacrifices they are making every day to care for their patients amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Musicians on Call President and CEO, Pete Griffin, said in a statement: “The stress of the pandemic on staff in all areas of the hospital has been unrelenting and we have been doing what we can to continue bringing them the joy of live music. We are so grateful to Post Malone and Crocs for joining us in providing even more relief when they need it the most through this generous donation.
“Thanks to them, caregivers at 70 hospitals nationwide will have the added support of their Crocs to help them through their day.”
The generous music star recently gave every student at his old school a pair of the custom Crocs.
The ‘Circles’ hitmaker’s fifth collaboration with the footwear brand swiftly sold out last month, but pupils at Texas’ Grapevine High School were treated to a pair each personally gifted to them by the Grammy-nominated star himself.
The school’s principal, Alex Fingers, took to Twitter to thank the Grapevine alumni for the generous gift and to congratulate him on his success.
He captioned pictures of some of the kids with their new Crocs: “Thank you @PostMalone for always giving back to your community! Your fellow @Grapevine_HS Mustangs are so proud of your success!”
The Post Malone x Crocs Duet Max Clog II collection comes in pink and black.
The 25-year-old star had also done a giveaway of 5,000 pairs of the shoes to say thank you to his fans.
He said at the time: “Giving away 5,000 shoes is how I’m saying ‘thank you,’ to my fans.
“Each time Crocs and I partner, we make something better than before and I’m excited about what we came up with this time around. Drop 5 is going to be one my fans remember.”
The shoes costs $59.99 and the ‘Wow’ star – who first worked with the brand in 2018 – also designed some Jibbitz charms for the clogs which cost $11.99.

A survey carried out by yoghurt brand Activia found that the ‘Halo’ hitmaker and the likes of Lizzo, Adele, Rebel Wilson, Jameela Jamil and Chrissy Teigen are the stars people find most empowering when it comes to body acceptance.
In 2018, Beyonce, 39, opened up about how she changed her approach after putting “pressure” on herself to look how society says she should.
She shared: “After the birth of my first child, I believed in the things society said about how my body should look. I put pressure on myself to lose all the baby weight in three months, and scheduled a small tour to assure I would do it. Looking back, that was crazy. I was still breastfeeding when I performed the Revel shows in Atlantic City in 2012. After the twins, I approached things very differently.”
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ host Tess Daly – who is a spokesperson for Activia – is also included in the Top 10 and spoke of the importance of being “kinder to ourselves”.
The 51-year-old presenter said: “We’ve given up enough over the last year so we need to be kinder to ourselves and look at all of the ways that we can improve our overall wellbeing. I know that when I look after my gut, I feel better for it so I am hoping to use my own experience to encourage people not to overlook it and look at the small changes you can make that will improve your gut health.”
The study also found 33-year-old Hollywood star Zac Efron – who loves to pose shirtless for selfies – to be the top body positive male celebrity.
The list also features Harry Styles, Sam Smith, Chris Pratt, James Corden and Jonathan Van Ness.
Elsewhere, the research revealed the body part people love the most is their legs.
While over half (65 per cent) of the adults surveyed said they felt confident in their body and a quarter plan to look after their gut health in 2021.

We are passionate about happy guts and know the impact it can have on our overall wellbeing and in turn body positivity. We’re thrilled that the research has come back so strong at a time when many re-evaluate their goals and we hope that we can continue to support our customers this way.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Georgia May Jagger has signed to CAA Fashion.
The 29-year-old model-and-designer – who is the daughter of Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger and model Jerry Hall – has joined the creative artist agency with clients including Claudia Schiffer, Alessandra Ambrosio, Elsa Hosk, Winnie Harlow and Kate Upton.
The catwalk beauty launched her modelling career in 2008, when she signed to Independent Models, and she is currently represented by TESS Model Management.
Since making her debut at Chanel’s Resort 2011 show, Georgia has walked the runway for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Balmain, Vivienne Westwood, Versace, Fendi, Tom Ford and Louis Vuitton.
She has also designed collections with Volcom and Mulberry.
And Georgia is an avid campaigner for sustainability in the fashion industry.
In September, Halima Aden hailed her as an inspiration to her due to her environmental and sustainability work.
The 23-year-old Somali-American supermodel – who has recently quit catwalks – revealed she wants to create her own charity projects and initiatives and she is constantly impressed by Georgia’s own work such as her ambassadorial role with Project 0, an initiative created to protect and clean up the world’s oceans.
She said: “Since I was a little girl, I always looked closest to the women around me for inspiration. Growing up, that was my mom. As I grew older, my girlfriends. Now, it’s the women I work with, including the other Pandora muses. All the girls have one thing or another that I can look at and be like, ‘Wow, this is something that I want to learn.’ Whether it’s Georgia [May Jagger], with all that she’s passionate about in terms of sustainability and the work she does to protect the oceans, Larsen [Thompson] with her tech talk videos, or Margaret [Zhang] being a voice and an advocate for the women of China.”

Gwyneth Paltrow: Taking better care of ourselves is a silver lining of the pandemic

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow says one of the positives of the coronavirus pandemic is that everyone has “taken care” of themselves “better”.
The Goop founder, 48, has admitted she believes people will look back on these unprecedented times and realise how much more “balanced” they have become “mentally, spiritually and emotionally”.
She said: “It’s a crazy time but I think it’s been wonderful to actually see how many have become curious about how to take better care of themselves and how to feel more balanced — mentally, spiritually, emotionally. This has forced so many of us to be quiet and introspective, to tune into our bodies in a way we haven’t normally. I think we will look back and one of the silver linings of this time is that we all tuned in a little and take care of ourselves better.”
The ‘Avengers: Endgame’ star – who has stepped away from acting – also confessed that she used to believe it was “cool to work yourself to death”, but since the global health crisis, she’s decided she probably won’t return to that “way of living” ever again.
Gwyneth told supermodel Naomi Campbell, 50, on the latest episode of her ‘#NoFilterWithNaomi’ YouTube series: “We’ve come to live in this culture where is cool to work yourself to death and cool to be exhausted. “People wear it as a badge of honour, I know I certainly did, when this all started I thought to myself, ‘Are we supposed to be driving ourselves this hard?’ I just don’t think I’ll go back to that way of living again. I’m loving being more sedentary and more quiet.”
Elsewhere, the mother-of-two – who has Moses, 14, and daughter Apple, 16, with ex-husband Chris Martin – admitted she doesn’t always do a “super-high intensity” workout each day and will often just go for a walk.
Gwyneth – who is married to TV writer Brad Falchuk – said: “I found yoga when I was about 25. It was an ashtanga yoga practice which you are meant to do six days a week. It was the first exercise I ever found. It was my entree into exercise and getting strong and feeling staring was a constant daily thing. The benefits of having experience every day of most days of the week made me feel so good. Now that I’m 48, I don’t kill myself with super-high intensity every day, sometimes i just take a walk.”

Jessica Simpson uses red light therapy on her boobs

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Simpson uses her anti-inflammatory red light therapy device on her boobs.
The 40-year-old star does the at-home treatment all over her body to help with her eczema, which she previously revealed got worse after she gave birth to her daughter Birdie, 21 months.
She said: “During this pandemic, I’ve gone down a skin care rabbit hole. I’m obsessed with doing red light therapy treatments at home. I place the anti-inflammatory device everywhere on my body, including my scalp, stomach and boobs.”
The mother-of-three – who also has Maxwell, eight, and Ace, seven, with husband Eric Johnson – also admitted she wouldn’t let anyone see pictures of her holding Birdie as a baby because she had a major “flare-up” at the time.
She added to Shape magazine: “I’ve dealt with eczema since I was a kid. But after having Birdie, I had such bad flare-ups that I wouldn’t even show the pictures of me holding her to my friends.”
The ‘Open Book’ author recently explained she decided to come forward with her struggle with the skin irritation after keeping it a secret since her childhood because she wanted to be “transparent” with her fans.
She said: “I’m always open about my insecurities, and I feel like I’m pretty transparent. I do believe that there is a way that we can find confidence in ourselves. I’ve had eczema since I was a kid. It’s not really anything that I’ve ever talked about, and I don’t really know why to be honest.
“I think because I had it a lot when I was in junior high and high school. Some of my memories of it when I was younger was being a cheerleader and then having to throw a sweatshirt on really quick after doing a routine or practice, even though it was so hot in Texas. They hug in Texas, so everybody would always come up and hug me and be like, ‘What’s on your arms?’ I would just blame it on a heat rash.”

Una Healy shares the secrets to her glowing skin

OHMYGOSSIP — Una Healy says the secret to her glowing complexion “comes from within”.
The former Saturdays singer has shared some of her skincare tips, including ensuring you drink plenty of water and fuelling your body with healthy foods and supplements such as LQ Collagen, which is available at Boots stores nationwide.
She said: “I approach beauty from a 360-degree perspective. So much of our skin’s luminosity, suppleness and elasticity comes from within.”
Una added: “I eat really well and always ensure I get my five a day. I’m also an advocate for supplements like Krill Oil and LQ Collagen.
“Feeling good in your own skin, has never been more important so embrace body positivity, self-love and self-care.”
Una has always been passionate about her skincare regime, having previously shared: “I like a foaming face wash and something to cleanse, once a week I exfoliate as well.
“I mix and match products, but a nice face wash, literally just Simple face wash or something like that, any of the plain ones are what I go for.”
Meanwhile, Una recently revealed she once considered a career as a make-up artist.
The 39-year-old star used to do her own glam when she was in the ‘All Fired Up’ group and enjoyed it so much that she thought about turning to a full-time job in beauty.
She said: “When I was in the band we had to do our own make-up for quite a lot of gigs, so I got used to it over the years. I even thought about being a make-up artist at one point.
“I always put a little bit of make-up on every day and I was wearing less and less as lockdown went on, but I’ve missed doing the ‘going out’ make-up. I’m ready to come back again with the full glam!”

Maya Jama to branch out with cosmetics line?

OHMYGOSSIP — Maya Jama is planning to release a cosmetics line.
Following the successful launch of her MIJ Masks range – which sold out in just a week – the 26-year-old billionaire is reportedly set to develop her own make-up, including lip kits, foundation, eyeshadows and primers.
However, it could be a while before the products are available to consumers, as just like with her face and eye masks, the TV presenter wants to “take her time” getting them just right.
One of her friends told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Maya is a shrewd businesswoman and is determined to make a name for herself in the cosmetics market.
“Her debut skincare range, MIJ, has been a runaway hit, with her face masks selling out in the first week, making her around £250,000 in seven days.
“Maya has now trademarked cosmetics under the brand name.
“Like Kylie Jenner, Maya knows her audience well and she loves all things skincare and beauty. So she’s turning that passion into a business. Maya saw the gap in the market so is planning on taking it over. She’s got lines of lip kits, eyeshadows, foundations, primers. You name it, Maya has it covered.
“Her skincare line was in the works for months and Maya is taking her time with the cosmetics. She’ll launch it when it’s right.”
Just last month, the former BBC Radio 1 DJ teased she wants to expand the products she offers.
She said: “For me it’s all about making products that people love. We’re going to start with these two products, take on board feedback and give the people what they want. I’d love to develop more skincare products, so watch this space.”
Maya – who started the business off her own bat – also explained that the Covid-19 pandemic meant there were “various delays” in getting her masks launched.
She said: “We’ve been working on these products for the past couple years – it’s been a big build up, but I am so excited to be able to finally make it a reality. We were hit with various delays due to Covid-19 but we are finally here. I did a lot of market research, spoke to my followers and friends, tried and tested all my favourites to discover what I, as a consumer, was really looking for in a mask so that I could develop the best possible masks for all you guys.”

Precious Lee joins Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner in Versace’s latest ad campaign

OHMYGOSSIP — Precious Lee stars in Versace’s new ad campaign alongside Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner.
The 31-year-old plus-size model showcases the spring/summer 2021 under-the-sea-themed Versace dress and the fashion house’s La Medusa handbag in the photographs by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
Mona Tougaard, Mica Argañaraz, Raphael Balzer and Simone Bricchi join the trio in the visual campaign, which also includes a short film, out now.
Designer Donatella Versace commented: “With these images I wanted to portray the modern Medusa. Or better, to highlight how her many faces can be drastically different from one another and every woman can actually be Medusa.
“All of us, with our differences and unique characters, we can express ourselves also in the way we decide to dress. The same thing is true for me, of course. We live in a world in which gender differences are no longer important and we have been given a kind of freedom like never before. Let’s use it and use it well!”
After Precious walked the runway for the 2021 spring/summer collection, which marked the first time Versace had included plus-size models at their catwalks, Donatella, 65, gushed over her appearance.
She wrote: “Welcome to the Versace family @preciousleexoxo. You killed it on the runway!!!”
To which, the model replied: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for raising the bar. I know how much this means and I will always cherish it. Not one little black girl can say they can’t because we can, we always could and when you stay true, you will.”
Meanwhile, it marks the second time Hailey, 24, has worked on a Versace campaign after she was the face of their Dylan Turquoise perfume in 2020.
