Miranda Kerr: My skincare routine is a meditative ritual

OHMYGOSSIP — Miranda Kerr says her skincare routine is a “meditative ritual”.
The 37-year-old model likes to take the time to enjoy her skincare regime as it allows her to focus on her wellbeing.
She said: “I basically see my skincare routine as a meditative ritual. It’s a form of self-care and a moment for me to check out and focus on my skin and wellbeing. That’s why I infuse all my products with rose quartz and use aromatherapy in the formulas.”
Miranda has become obsessed with rose quartz and other crystals in her beauty routine after learning that different crystals have different healing powers.
She told Marie Claire magazine: “I have crystals everywhere – rose quartz, amethyst, clear quartz. I have been a lover of crystals since I was a little girl. I had no idea that every crystal has like a different purpose and a different use until I was older. I stumbled across a crystal shop and my mind was blown.”
Now, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel has infused real rose quartz in her KORA Organics beauty range.
She added: “The Rose Quartz shade is such a beautiful highlighter that just melts into your skin. It has real crushed rose quartz in there. All Kora products are filtered through rose quartz and energised with it in the manufacturing process. But it’s fun to actually have it on your skin as well.”
Meanwhile, Miranda recently revealed she uses natural products in her skincare routine.
However, the model insisted that most make-up brands haven’t come up with the “technology or formula” that is “good enough yet” to use.
She explained: “You don’t have to only use certified organic beauty products – I don’t. I think that a balance is important.
“For instance, on my skin I’m using all certified organic products as a first layer on my face and body, but my make-up isn’t all organic. Maybe my mascara isn’t organic because the technology or formulation isn’t good enough yet, or perhaps I like a shade of lipstick and it happens to not be organic – you can introduce [organic products] slowly.”

Bella Hadid is ‘always finding time’ to use IVs

OHMYGOSSIP — Bella Hadid is “always finding time” to use intravenous drips.
The 24-year-old model – who was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease in 2012 – has taken to Instagram to post a photograph of herself connected to a drip.
Alongside the snap showing the drip attached to her arm, Bella wrote: “Living with a few chronic auto immune disease =always finding time for my IVs (sic)”
Bella previously admitted that the symptoms of the disease have become more aggressive during her adult life.
The brunette beauty – who is the younger sister of model Gigi Hadid – took to Instagram to re-post diagrams and infographics about Lyme disease shared by chef Joudie Kalla.
Bella highlighted that she faces almost 30 common symptoms, including headaches, insomnia, and a sensitivity to light.
The model also highlighted anxiety, confusion, joint pain, nausea and disordered eating as some of the symptoms.
Bella wrote: “Every day I feel at least 10 of these attributes without fail … since I was probably 14, but more aggressively when I turned 18.”
In 2016, Bella admitted there are days when she “can’t get out of bed” because of the condition.
She shared: “There are rough days when you sleep 12 hours, you wake up at 11 and you can’t get out of bed, with severe joint pain, brain fog, anxiety.
“There are a lot of symptoms that you can’t see from the outside but bring you to your knees on the inside.”
Bella also admitted that her symptoms have had an impact on her working life.
She said: “By the end, I’m definitely done and need a week to just sleep and not do anything.
“When I’m at fashion week it’s literally only work, and when I’m not working I’m sleeping – especially during fashion week. I don’t go out that much, I eat dinner by myself in my hotel room and go to sleep. That’s pretty much my fashion week.”

Tracee Ellis Ross: I’m the sexiest I’ve ever been

OHMYGOSSIP — Tracee Ellis Ross thinks she’s the “sexiest” she’s ever been.
The 48-year-old actress refuses to accept that people cease to be sexy once they reach a certain age, insisting she won’t allow societal pressures to dictate the way she lives her life.
Tracee told W magazine: “There’s this idea that you get to a certain age and you’re no longer viable, you’re no longer sexy. You’re no longer worth going after your dreams, trying new things, or taking risks. And I don’t agree with any of that.
“I’m 48 years old, and I feel like I’m the sexiest I’ve ever been. Yet our culture status quo, patriarchy, whatever you want to call it, has told us that a certain kind of person has more say in what I should be doing and what I shouldn’t be doing.”
Tracee previously revealed she never gets rid of her old clothes.
The actress “hates” getting rid of her old garments and she’s actually still wearing things now that she first bought decades ago.
She said: “There will always be dishes in my sink and too many clothes in my home.
“I hate to throw clothes away.
“I still have a beautiful Norma Kamali slip dress from when I was 22. I wore it to my brother’s wedding three years ago. My clothes are a reflection of myself.”
The actress regards her hair as her “greatest form” of expression and loves experimenting with the way she styles her locks.
She said: “I could chronicle my journey of self-acceptance through my hair.
“It’s my greatest form of expression.
“Sometimes it’s big, sometimes it’s small, sometimes elegant, gravity defying, electric … I don’t think there’s anything as chic as a slicked-back bun but when my hair is loose, it has a mind of its own.”

Phoebe Dynevor makes modelling debut for Self-Portrait

OHMYGOSSIP — Phoebe Dynevor has made her modelling debut in Self-Portrait’s new Fall/Winter 2021 campaign.
The ‘Bridgerton’ star swapped out the tight corsets she wore to portray Daphne Bridgerton in the hit Netflix period drama for comfier attire for Nigel Shafran’s shoot to show off the upcoming collection by the popular fashion label’s creative director, Han Chong.
In a statement, the 25-year-old actress said: “I was delighted and honoured that Han chose me to work with him and such a talented team on his latest collection. I first spotted one of his dresses on a photoshoot and it was an instant love affair.
“Han’s collections for Self-Portrait have always been an inspiration, I love the strong structures he creates from such delicate and stunning fabrics and this collection is a testament to his incredible work. I’m so proud to be a part of this new project and hope to have a chance to wear the pieces when life goes back to normal again!”Self-Portrait’s attire is popular among A-listers such as the Duchess of Sussex, Khloe Kardashian and Michelle Obama.
Meanwhile, the ‘Younger’ star has admitted she is not a fan of corsets in real life, as she doesn’t like any clothing that “restricts” her bust.
Speaking to The Times newspaper, she said: “With Daphne half the work was done for me once I was cinched into that corset.  Immediately, because of the way the corset is fitted, your posture is held back, which means your head’s up, and you are moving in a certain way. Without the clothes I don’t think I would have been able to be her to the same degree. I wouldn’t have been able to feel like her.”
She continued: “I was lucky because I only had a half-corset. I didn’t mind it, but anything that restricts my boobs I would never do in real life. I like my boobs being free.”

Sharing is caring: Hailey and Justin Bieber share a hairbrush and beauty products

OHMYGOSSIP — Hailey Bieber and her husband Justin Bieber share a hairbrush and beauty products.
The 24-year-old model – who tied the knot with the ‘Anyone’ hitmaker in 2018 – insisted it’s not uncommon for her spouse to comb his locks with her hairbrush or apply some of her eye cream, and she hailed sharing the “beauty of what being in a relationship is”.
The power couple are “really healthy” and have also done juice detoxes and love to sauna together.
She shared: “Both my husband and I are really healthy, so sometimes we’ll do it at the same time.
“I did a cleanse where I was flushing my liver and just drinking a ton of water and juice and tea and soups. There’s so many different things you can do, like sitting in a sauna is detoxing or an Epsom salt bath.”
She continued: “We use the same hairbrush all the time, which I feel like when you’re married or you live with someone, you just start to use each other’s s***. I wouldn’t even bat an eye if I walked into the bathroom and he’s using my eye cream or something. That’s just kind of some of the beauty of what being in a relationship is!”
Hailey also admitted she prefers not to do “full glam” when she is not working to help maintain her flawless complexion.
She added to People: “I would say the days of doing full-on glam for fun myself even before COVID were few and far between. I’m way more into skincare, and I’m just always getting my make-up done for work so I tend to stick more to the really chill, ‘no make-up make-up’ and focus on keeping my skin healthy.”
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty is seemingly set to launch a beauty brand called Rhode this year.
Hailey recently set up an Instagram page called Rhode – a nod to her middle name – and in the bio it teases that something is coming in 2021.
The account already has over 16,000 followers at the time of writing and is followed by Hailey.
Hailey and Justin, 26, previously tried to trademark Bieber Beauty with the United States Patent Office, however, it was rejected due to being too similar to previous trademarks submitted by her other half.
Hailey’s lawyers had insisted that Bieber Beauty has an “aura” that is “suggestive of a look, a lifestyle [and] an image … in which Mrs. Bieber walks.”
However, they decided to ditch it altogether in the end and opt for Rhode, according to Page Six Style.
The Rhode trademark, with the same logo as the Instagram profile, includes beauty and wellness products such as deodorants, perfumes, haircare, and moisturisers and cleansers.

Heidi Klum; It’s mind-blowing seeing Leni modelling

OHMYGOSSIP — Heidi Klum gushed that it’s “mind-blowing” seeing her daughter modelling.
The 47-year-old supermodel couldn’t be prouder of Leni, 16, after she made her modelling debut in December and subsequently landed spots in runway shows and the cover of fashion magazines.
She told People: “She’s been doing fantastic. She’s been wanting to model for quite some time. And I finally said yes because she’s now old enough, she’s almost 17. She started with the German Vogue cover and she has another cover that’s coming out in two months.
“She opened Berlin Fashion Week where I saw her walk for the first time, in heels like as a real fashion model. It’s mind-blowing to me to watch her work, especially the first thing I did together with her and now she’s doing things by herself, even though I go to the set.”
Heidi claimed her daughter has been a supermodel-in-the-making from a young age after she showed off her skills behind the camera.
She explained: “It’s amazing to watch her do it all. She’s been coming to my sets for her entire life and she’s not really afraid of the cameras being stuck in her face. I do ‘Germany’s Next Top Model’ and she’s done a lot of the shoots the models had to do. A lot of the times at the end of the shoots, she would be like, ‘Now it’s my turn!’ off camera. She’s done so much over the years, she loves it. She loves it!”
The teen made her debut as a model on the cover of Vogue Germany alongside her parent, with the pair rocking matching colourful trouser suits.
Leni told the publication: “It was only a matter of time before I would try it myself as a model. The first offer came when I was only 12 or 13, from a brand I loved to wear: Brandy Melville. Back then I begged Mom, but no chance! I now understand that it would have been too early.
“For most other jobs, I’d have to stifle my crazy ways to look ‘professional.’ As a model, I can let everything out and just be who I am. The job is the perfect outlet for all the energy that I have in me.”

The 26-year-old pop star – who is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Alev Aydin – has been struggling with acne since becoming pregnant and has finally found miracle products by Jessica’s beauty line, Honest Beauty.

Halsey has been using Honest Beauty’s Gentle Gel Cleanser, Hydrogel Cream, and Beauty Sleep Resurfacing Serum.
And she particularly praised the Sleep Resurfacing Serum as its vegan formula boasts a mix of five exfoliating alpha-hydroxy acids and hyaluronic acid for added moisture.
Jessica previously shared she believes it is important for mothers to have a dedicated skincare routine as she likes some time out at the end of her day to have a little “me time” .
The 38-year-old actress – who has daughters Honor, 12, and Haven, nine, and three-year-old son Hayes with her husband Cash Warren – said: “A skincare routine can sometimes be the only ‘me’ time that people have in their days. When you are doing something just for yourself, it’s a nice reminder that you matter, and that taking time to take care of yourself is important.”
As for her own bedtime routine, Jessica likes to “reset her mind” whilst putting her kids to bed, and then soaks in a hot bath with a glass of wine.
She explained: “First and foremost, I get into cosy loungewear and throw my hair into a messy bun. Then I recap the day with the kiddos over dinner, followed by giving the baby a bath and a good cuddle – this fills my soul and helps reset my mind and spirit. I also enjoy a bath with a glass of wine and a good book. I often add a face mask and a hair mask as part of my weekly wind-down routine.”

David Gandy: It’s unusual for me not to wear make-up at shoots

OHMYGOSSIP — David Gandy admitted it was “unusual” for him not to be wearing make-up for his latest shoot.
The 41-year-old supermodel was instructed by a group of children during a photoshoot to promote children’s smartwatch, Neo, which he claimed was the “strangest event of my fashion career”.
In a behind-the-scenes clip, he said: “There was no actual make-up applied to my face, which I thought was a little bit unusual. I have to say, it was probably the strangest event of my fashion career.”
Gandy – who became a father for the first time to daughter Matilda, whom he has with barrister Stephanie Mendoros, in 2018 –  was challenged to channel some of Disney’s best-loved characters, including Elsa from ‘Frozen’ and Buzz Lightyear from the ‘Toy Story’ franchise. The shoot was led by eight-year-old photographer Lil’ Jpeg, who Gandy quipped had “unconventional” methods.
He added: “My first impression of Lil’ Jpeg … His methods were a little bit unconventional. Before I met him, I thought the little part was ironic.”
Neo is a new collaboration between Vodafone and Disney.
The brands joined forces to unveil the new smartwatch, which has new parent and guardian control features to give them peace of mind while also empowering and entertaining their children.
Parents can stay connected to their kids through calls, chats and emojis, while children can choose their own “sidekick” from a selection of familiar characters.
Gandy commented: “My daughter is growing up so quickly and as she gets older, I know she’ll want to explore the world around her. As technology is rapidly advancing, this of course means it will become part of her life and I want to empower her to do so safely whilst still staying connected with her. It’s therefore great to know I can look after her and also be a part of her journey. Neo is the perfect first step on a child’s tech journey, allowing both parents and kids to have fun together whilst giving your little one independence and peace of mind to parents.’
“The photoshoot was a great example of how much fun kids can have when they’re empowered to unlock their creativity  – it’s certainly a job I’ll never forget!”
Neo is available from £99 (plus £7 a month connectivity subscription fee), and is available to purchase at: eshop.v.vodafone.com

Jada Pinkett Smith launches personal care line at Target

OHMYGOSSIP — Jada Pinkett Smith has launched a personal care line at Target.
The 49-year-old actress – who has Jaden, 22, and Willow, 20, with husband Will Smith – was inspired by her children to start Hey Humans, which boasts four sustainable products, after witnessing what the youngsters were using for their personal health during lockdown.
She told People: “What really inspired me was my kids, Willow and Jaden, who have educated me around the environment and the necessity to really shift habit in the way we consume. I love personal care and I’m a beauty junkie, but recently I’ve had a lot of anxiety around packaging, and I thought, ‘What can I do in this space?'”
The ‘Girls Trip’ star teamed up with beauty incubator Maesa to create the affordable body wash, body lotion, natural deodorant and toothpaste.
She said: “I really wanted to start with products that we use every day — toothpaste, deodorant, body wash — and find ways that we could have a more sustainable packaging.”
Her favourite product is the natural deodorant — which comes in the scrents Banana Aloe, Rosewater Ginger, Coconut Mint, Cedarwood Sage, Apple Matcha and Lavender Vanilla — because it lasts throughout the day, even after exercise.
She said: “They started sending formulations and one of my favourites that made me fall in love with Hey Humans was the deodorant. I had such a hard time finding natural deodorant. My kids were like, ‘Use lemon under your arm,’ I’m like, ‘That’s not enough odor protection.’ So, that is one of my favourite products with Hey Humans, I just love the deodorant so much. I’m like, ‘Finally.’
“And the kids really love the deodorant as well, and the body wash. Because like I said, there’s a bunch of us here, so we use a lot of product.”
The Hey Humans products are 99% plastic-free and gender-neutral, and Jada admitted she is only just learning about the many ways society can help reduce the global carbon footprint and wants to make sure she is doing her part to protect the planet.
She explained: “I’m old school, I really am, so all of this is very new for me. I’m on a journey in regards to getting educated and just doing my part in regards to how I can be part of the sustainability movement. We’re always talking about, ‘Let’s save the planet.’ At the end of the day, it’s really about how do we sustain humanity.”

Hilary Duff lives for ‘fluffy’ clothes these days

OHMYGOSSIP — Hilary Duff says her style is “more fluffy” these days.
The ‘Younger’ star – who is expecting her third child – has just launched her Smash + Tess rompers and loungewear collection for mothers and their kids, and the busy mom has admitted comfort is key when she is choosing an everyday outfit, because she doesn’t have a lot of time to plan what she wears.
Instead, the former ‘Lizzie McGuire’ star sticks to basic colours and styles them up with “fun” bags, shoes and statement jewellery.
She told Vogue: “I tend to dress a lot more fluffy.
“I don’t have a lot of time to spend putting a detailed outfit together. I want to be comfortable and to be able to move throughout my day, but still be on-trend. And that’s not always accomplished! But I like basic colours and accessorising with a fun bag and shoes. I love a big earring.
“I just bought this really cute Isabel Marant men’s blazer coat, it’s almost to the knee and it’s tweed.
“I roll up the sleeves and put it on top. And I have these square-toed boots—that’s how I wore one the other day.”
Hilary – who already has Luca, 8, with ex-husband Mike Comrie and two-year-old Banks with spouse Matthew Koma – admitted she was thrilled to be asked to design her own line because she was desperate to use her “creativity” in quarantine amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
She said: “When [founder Ashley Freeborn] reached out, it was probably two months into the quarantine in Los Angeles, and I had been a second grade teacher to my son for like 11 weeks – so I was like, hell yeah, I’m down to do something creative.”

Priya Ahluwalia presented with Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design

OHMYGOSSIP — Priya Ahluwalia has been honoured with the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design.
As London Fashion Week wrapped on Tuesday (23.02.21), the renowned menswear designer became the fourth recipient of the special honour, which the British monarch inaugurated in 2018 with the aim of “making a difference to society through either sustainable practices or community engagement.”
Sophie, Countess of Wessex – who is married to Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, the youngest son of the Queen and Prince Philip – presented Ahluwalia with the accolade on behalf of Her Majesty during a webinar.
The designer – who launched her debut collection in 2018 –  was recognised for her eponymous label Ahluwalia, which celebrates her dual Indian-Nigerian heritage and London upbringing, and prioritises sustainability.
Ahluwalia – who has countless awards to her name and was named in Forbes 30 under 30 list for 2020 – was also sent one of the trophies created by the queen’s designer Angela Kelly.
Speaking to the countess, the fashion muse explained that while she is keen to branch out into different areas such as womenswear and homeware, her intention is to always “amplify different communities and voices”.
She said: “I’m a menswear designer, but there are so many things I’d love to branch into. Womenswear and accessories; I’m obsessed with homewear. But among all that, I’m always trying to create interesting projects – books, films – that amplify different communities and voices. And, I guess, to have a leadership position in advocating for positive change within our industry. And to have fun at the same time!”
In 2020, jewellery brand Alighieri’s founder Rosh Mahtani was awarded the prize, while the first-ever Queen Elizabeth II Award was presented to designer Richard Quinn in 2018, when the queen made her London Fashion Week debut alongside Anna Wintour.

Gabrielle Union only embraced her natural hair in her early forties

OHMYGOSSIP — Gabrielle Union didn’t learn to embrace her natural hair until she was in her forties.
The ‘Being Mary Jane’ star has admitted she “wasted” so much of her youth despising her tresses, because women on the cover of magazines and on TV made her feel like she didn’t have the “it factor”.
She said: “When I was younger, I hated everything about [my hair]. I wanted it to be anything but what it was.
“I wasted so much of my youth in my twenties, thirties and certainly my teens wanting to be someone else. I was inundated with images and messages saying, ‘You’re just not as pretty as so-and-so.'”
Gabrielle continued: “The images that I saw on TV and in magazines and film reaffirmed what they were saying. That I wasn’t ‘it’, and people who look like me aren’t ‘it’.
“You couldn’t possibly have that ‘it factor’ and have hair like mine or skin like mine.”
The 48-year-old actress finally felt ready to empty her “basket of f****” and start loving herself as she is in her early forties.
She told People: “In my early forties, I just emptied my basket of f**** and came out reborn and loving myself in a way that you only see on Oprah episodes when you’re like, ‘What the hell is my most authentic self? What does that even mean? I don’t even know who that girl is. I wouldn’t know her if I saw her.’ So just really doing a much deeper dive in therapy, and internal work, and traveling the world, and embracing that beauty comes in every kind of form.”
And Gabrielle no longer gets FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) about her hair because she realised it’s so versatile and she can do whatever she wishes with her locks.
She said: “I marvel at my hair’s strength and all of the diversity of looks and styles that I can achieve. I can literally transform into anything. I can do it without a lot of heat. I’m doing it without relaxers. I’m doing it without having FOMO! I used to think you had to have a certain hair texture in order to be seen as beautiful or dynamic. I don’t have that anymore. I love my own hair. Everything I want to achieve, everything I can dream of, I know I can do it with my own hair.”

Hayley Kiyoko: I want to remind my fans to love themselves

OHMYGOSSIP — Hayley Kiyoko hopes her debut fragrance, Hue, reminds her fans to “love themselves”.
The ‘Girls Like Girls’ hitmaker – who is a lesbian – has explained that she decided to name her perfume Hue to represent her LGBTQ+ fans who don’t “fit in a box”.
She said of the title for her genderless scent: “My fans and myself, we’re on this massive spectrum, right? We don’t fit in a box, not every label resonates with us. I wanted to choose a name that really embraced individuality and expression … I want to remind my fans to love themselves.”
The 29-year-old singer added how the fragrance – which is a blend of blood orange, watermelon, freesia, peony, lychee, rose, pink magnolia, cacao and musk –  embodies the contrast of her “feminine and masculine side”, which had been a “massive insecurity” of hers in the past.
She told Page Six Style: “I’m feminine and masculine; sometimes I’m more feminine one day, and sometimes I’m more masculine another. That’s been a strength — it’s who I am — but it’s also been a massive insecurity of mine. And so I was trying to embody that duality within this perfume.”
Hayley recently described perfume as her “armour”.
The ‘Insidious: Chapter 3’ actress revealed she used the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea eau de toilette when she was still “in the closet” as a teenager, because she knew that even if she faced rejection she would still “smell good”.
She explained: “Growing up, I was in the closet and faced a lot of rejection and personal rejection. I don’t know if you remember Elizabeth Arden Green Tea? That was my armour.
“Every day I would wake up and spray way too much all over my body, and that was my confidence. I knew even if I were to be rejected by a crush or something else outside of my power, I was going to at least smell good, or I was going to be complimented like ‘Oh my gosh, what are you wearing? You smell so good.’ And those were little moments that I lived for, and they were massive moments when I look back.”

K-pop girl group aespa named Givenchy brand ambassadors

OHMYGOSSIP — K-Pop girl group aespa have been named Givenchy brand ambassadors.
The South Korean four-piece – comprising Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning – will showcase the luxury fashion house’s upcoming collections and designs by the brand’s Creative Director, Matthew M. Williams, throughout 2021.
Williams said: “When I first met aespa, I was overwhelmed by the energy each member had. I felt that as a group and individually, Karina, Giselle, Winter AND Ningning have strong individuality and style that naturally fit with Givenchy. aespa’s fashion is their own individual color in and of itself.”
It marks the first time a K-Pop group has been named a brand ambassador for Givenchy, as well as a whole group being the face of the company.
The girls said: “We are delighted to be able to work with Matthew, the new Creative Director at Givenchy. We will make our best effort to showcase various sides and activities as we start a new chapter with Givenchy.”
Meanwhile, the ambassador news comes after a number of celebrities – including Kendall Jenner and Playboi Cartier – styled themselves for Williams’ spring collection for the fashion house.
He said: “My ethos is about the luxury of infusing clothes with your own personality, not being worn by them. In each of these portraits, a strong character wears a look that reflects who they are: They’re the ones who bring the clothes to life.”
Kendall opted for a second-skin red top and high-waisted trousers, teamed with a gold Antigona bag, while rapper Playboi opted for a mesh tank top and a leather bomber.
The stunning campaign was shot by photographer Heji Shin.

Twiggy: I’ve never been able to walk in high heels

OHMYGOSSIP — Twiggy still can’t walk in high heels.
The 71-year-old supermodel – whose real name is Dame Lesley Lawson – has confessed she wears flats most of the time because she struggles to keep her balance in stilettos and would always take pumps with her to photoshoots and need someone to assist her in changing into heels.
Twiggy – who was dubbed The Face of ’66 – also revealed she was once warned by a chiropractor that heels are the “worst thing” a woman can wear.
Speaking to artist Grayson Perry on her ‘Tea With Twiggy’ podcast, she said: “I’ve never been able to walk in high heels.
“I know I’m a supermodel but I could never walk in the b***** things. They’re dangerous pieces, I think.
“I wear flat shoes most of the time because they’re too difficult to manoeuvre. I can’t balance. If I do a photoshoot – I don’t do many anymore – I take them to the paper where we are doing the photograph, I get somebody to hold me and I climb into the high heels.
“I hurt my back a few years ago and I went to a chiropractor and he said the worst thing for women are high heels.”
Meanwhile, Twiggy previously revealed she originally didn’t want the haircut that made her famous.
The star was 16 when she had her hair cut by Leonard of Mayfair and had her picture taken by a professional photographer, and although Twiggy didn’t want the experimental cut, it completely changed her life after a fashion reporter saw the picture on the wall and featured her in an article as The Face of ’66.
She explained last year: “I went in to have it shampooed and set and Leonard saw me and he said, ‘Let me do my new haircut on you’. I’d been growing my hair.
“For a moment I kind of went, ‘I don’t know whether I want my hair cut’. But I was in this very posh salon in Mayfair so I was a bit too shy to say I don’t want it done, and I kind of nodded.
“The nickname Twiggy… my boyfriend’s brother used to call me to annoy me. Once it was written in the paper it went stupid and within six months I was in Paris.”
