OHMYGOSSIP — Yasmin Le Bon wants to see more women in their 50s on the catwalk.
The 56-year-old model is grateful she has continued gracing magazine covers and walking on the runway – but she wants to see more people her age doing the same.
She told Stella magazine: “I’m so glad I hung on for dear life in this profession. It’s ridiculous the amount of positive reaction I get from women my age who hardly ever get to see other grannies modelling.”
Meanwhile, Yasmin’s daughter Amber – who she has with Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon – recently revealed she lives in a “constant state of fear” of being in the spotlight and feels so overwhelmed that she often can’t remember walking at fashion shows.
She said: “I live in a constant state of fear. When it kicks in, I have mind blanks. “I used to get it during a fashion show. I’d walk, and the next thing I’d remember was walking back in. I don’t actually remember being on the runway at all.”
Amber also suffers panic attacks at public events.
She explained: “I also get terrible panic attacks. I was once at an Amanda Wakeley event when suddenly I felt constricted — my it wasn’t working!”
The fashion model has been on the runway since she was 19 after she signed to her mother’s agency but never intended to get into the industry.
She previously explained: “Modelling is something I always said I would never do. But I left school and I didn’t know what I wanted to do. “Then my mum’s agent offered me some work, and I thought it would be something to do while I decided what to do with my life, and it was paying the bills. And here I am — still working!”

The ‘Malamente’ singer has spilled the secrets of her self-care routine and beauty hacks, and insisted that when she is “enjoying” her work, her “face shines”.
She said: “I think the fact that I’m a singer and a musician forces me to make an effort and take care of myself for my career.
“When I’m happy, doing what I love and I’m really enjoying it, that’s when my face shines! There’s some kind of light. You shine differently.”
The 27-year-old Flamenco star also spilled that her secret to a flawless complexion is “sleeping like a baby”.
She said: “If you sleep like a baby, you will also get skin like a baby.”
Rosalia then quipped: “Sometimes after a mischievous night, you’ll see the next morning that your skin will be divine. Beautiful.”
Elsewhere, the Grammy-winner revealed she loves how “fierce” having nail extensions makes her feel.
She added to Vogue’s Beauty Secrets: “They make me feel fierce … it’s a radical feminine form. I also enjoy the ritual of doing it with a friend … taking care of each other, sharing that moment, being present.”
And she confessed that she prefers to apply make-up with her bare hands.
She said: “Honestly, I love to do my makeup with my fingers. It’s like making pottery.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mary-Kate and Ashely Olsen didn’t want to be the face of The Row.
The famous twins launched their fashion brand when they were just 18 in 2006, and the former child stars have admitted they didn’t want it to be a celebrity brand.
Ashley told i-D magazine: “We didn’t want to be in front of it, we didn’t necessarily even want to let people know it was us. It was really about the product, to the point where we were like: ‘Who could we get to front this so that we don’t have to?’”
The ‘Two of a Kind’ actresses insisted they were “raised” to be “discreet.
The sisters’ famous pals have praised the pair for how they’ve managed to keep much of their lives out of the spotlight.
Supermodel Gigi Hadid, 26, told the publication: “They want to put out their art without feeling too exposed or too vulnerable or used for the wrong reasons. They don’t want people showing up like ‘I’m here for the Mary-Kate and Ashley show.’ They want people to come and respect the clothing.”
Comedy star Jonah Hill, 37, said Mary-Kate and Ashley, both 35, blew people’s minds when they showed their “incredible” taste in style.
He added: “I think because they came from being kid stars – which I wouldn’t usually associate with great style – when they started dressing with incredible taste it was a bigger mind-blow for people because it shattered the image that people had of them in their minds.”
Mary-Kate, meanwhile, explained that their luxury ready-to-wear line is all about making getting ready as easy as possible.
She said: “The word luxury is used pretty much everywhere now, but for us it’s something that makes your life easier.
“The idea that you could buy something off the rack, put it on your body and it already feels like a part of your wardrobe, that’s luxury. You don’t even have to think about it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mandy Moore is a “wannabe beauty editor”.
The ‘This Is Us’ star loves to play around with new beauty products and learn about skincare so much that she’d love to write about the industry for a living.
She told The Cut: “I feel like in my heart, I’m a wannabe beauty editor. I love all the lotions and potions and gadgets and fun things. I love learning about them and sometimes acquiring them and maybe using them once or twice, but not necessarily having them become a part of my regular routine.”
However, Mandy prefers to read about beauty tips from other people and experiments with the products to see if it works on her skin, too.
She added: “I’m terrible at that stuff. This is the kind of thing that I love to read from other people, and then I steal those tips. I love those fun things to spritz on — something to put on your face before you leave the house, so your face doesn’t look too done. Like, an essential oil or a scented water. I usually do a rose water.”
The 37-year-old actress swears by coconut oil to help combat a number of skincare concerns thanks to its multifunctional properties.
She explained: “I love a good coconut oil. I feel like it’s multifunction and multipurpose. You can use it to remove makeup. I have some sitting on my counter, right by my hand soap, and when I get out of the shower I put it on. My cats are obsessed with it. I don’t think they’re supposed to eat it, but they will follow me into the shower because they know when the shower is done, the coconut oil comes.”
And Mandy has learned to go “back to basics” during the pandemic as she is more “comfortable” without the glam.
She said: “Before COVID, I would break my neck to get eyelash extensions and get my nails done and my eyebrows done. In the last year, everything has been pared down. I’ve realized that maybe I liked to keep myself busier than needed. I’m actually much more comfortable stripping all of that away, and just going back to the basics. I kept that philosophy throughout pregnancy and postpartum, and I’m gonna carry that with me for the foreseeable future.”

Teyana Taylor fronts new Studs collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Teyana Taylor is the new face of Studs.
The 30-year-old actress-and-singer has teamed up with the jewellery brand on their latest campaign for their Say It With Studs collection, which includes 20 mix-and-match ear accessories with various words to express the mood of the wearer.
Teyana said: “I’m thrilled to model in Studs’ new Say It With Studs campaign. The brand and collection stand for bold self-expression, and with these new word earrings, I can let my ear do the talking for me.
“I chose “Big Drip”, “NYC Vibe Baby” “F*** Y’all” and “Big Mood” as my earscapes because that’s my vibe. I love that you can mix and match these studs to create phrases that fit whatever mood you’re in.”
Meanwhile, the star recently became the first black woman to be named Maxim magazine’s Sexiest Woman Alive.
The ‘We Got Love’ singer took to Instagram to express her delight at topping the publication’s annual Hot 100 list by “literally living in the skin I’m in”.
Teyana captioned an Instagram post of her Maxim cover: “Somebody pinch me!!! Maxim Hot 100 to be named the ‘Sexiest Woman alive’ by literally living in the skin I’m in.
“WOW … Stepping back in front of the lens has been a journey of self-reflection and self-confidence. Living up to the name and title of this shoot wholeheartedly made me nervous (sic).”
The mother-of-two also recalled the “dope” experience of posing for the magazine as the same day she had taken her five-year-old daughter Iman Jr ‘Junie’ to school before posing for the camera.
Teyana – who also shares nine-month-old daughter Rue with her husband, NBA player Iman Shumpert – continued: “This particular day was dope because it made me see another side of myself. I had just dropped JUNIE off at school before heading straight to the shoot; sweatpants a beanie and an army jacket. My hair wasn’t done for a ‘shoot’ because I planned on throwing on a wig & I didn’t have on any make up.
“I was so like SO LET ME UNDERSTAND THIS … I WILL BE THE SEXIEST Woman Alive IN SWEATS AND A SKULLY? (sic)”

Maluma designs colourful Quay eyewear line

OHMYGOSSIP — Maluma has created an eyewear collection with Quay.
The Latin megastar’s latest album, ‘Papi Juancho’, was the source of inspiration for his recent Balmain capsule collection, and it’s also influenced his designs for the affordable popular Australian glasses brand.
The Grammy-nominated Colombian reggaeton star said in a statement: “Quay really knew my essence and how important fashion is to me — so the process was seamless and more about making colour and eyewear structure a highlight. The entire collection was based only on moods and how eyewear can uplift them. I am excited because I haven’t really focused on accessories and I truly want people to take risks with the parts that make fashion more exciting, which to me are accessories.”
The Quay x Maluma So Much Sol line includes colourful cobalt blue lenses, rainbow frames and various shapes.
Jodi Bricker, Quay chief executive officer, added: “The Quay x Maluma partnership has been in the making for quite some time as Maluma has been spotted wearing Quay’s for years and that authenticity is one of the biggest things we look for in a collaborator.” Maluma’s line with the French fashion house – which is popular with the Kardashians – also married Maluma’s “love of colour” and “optimistic” style with Balmain head designer Olivier Rousteing’s “passion for music”.
And the ’11 PM’ hitmaker previously explained how Olivier pushed him outside of his comfort zone by getting him to help design the line.
On collaborating with Olivier, the 27-year-old singer-songwriter said: “Working with Olivier and the entire Balmain team was an amazing creative journey for me.
“It’s been one of my goals to work with a respected fashion house on a collection, but this journey was more exciting as Olivier pushed me to design with him, and that process was like making music — connecting the dots to create an energy for the fans. The colours and styles of this collaboration were influenced by my fifth album ‘Papi Juancho’, which had an edgy style influenced by the ‘Miami Vice’ vibe. Colours and comfort when I made this album during the pandemic was extremely important to me because I couldn’t be on tour at the time to perform my songs, but I wanted colours to give them great energy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mabel’s mum Neneh Cherry was “strict” with how she could wear her hair growing up.
The ‘Boyfriend’ singer – whose father is music producer Cameron McVey – has revealed her parent wanted her kids to “feel naturally beautiful”.
However, Mabel loved experimenting with her long locks and getting her cousin, TV presenter Miquita Oliver, to straighten her tresses, which she knew was “quite cheeky” because she wasn’t allowed to mess with her hair.
The 25-year-old star told Stylist: “When I was a kid, I always had long, dark, beautiful, crazy hair.
My mum was so adamant that we were going to be proud of our heritage and our culture. She thought that we were miracles and so she wanted me and my siblings to feel naturally beautiful. She would take a lot of time in the mornings doing my hair, making sure she was oiling it properly. Usually, I would leave it in braids Monday to Friday for going to school but I always had a bit of a vision and would make requests. I often asked her for a super sleek long braided ponytail and my mum would always follow through.
I remember my mum being quite strict around what I could do with my hair. My cousin, Miquita [Oliver], was like everything to me growing up; she was doing ‘Popworld’ at the time and I just thought she was so cool. We lived together and one day when my parents were out, she was like, ‘I’m going to straighten your hair’.
She would do my hair and we would talk about life and watch TV. I remember being amazed that having long, chic, shiny, straight hair felt so glamorous. I felt like Beyoncé in ‘Crazy in Love’. It would take hours because I had so much hair but also because she would do it perfectly, meticulously straightening each strand. She was the hairdresser and it was always her vision; she’d be like, ‘Let’s do it poker straight today’ and I’d be like, ‘OK’. She used to do it for me every now and again – I guess it was a real bonding experience.
I remember feeling so grown up but also quite cheeky because I knew I wasn’t meant to do that. My mum would come home and say, ‘Oh Miquita, she’s a child. Why have you styled her hair like she’s in a music video?'”

Ariana Grande teases new perfume

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande has announced her new perfume.
The 27-year-old singer took to her social media accounts to tease the launch of her upcoming fragrance named God Is a Woman at Ulta Beauty.
She captioned the post: “coming soon @ultabeauty. (sic)”
Ariana has already released several fragrances, including Cloud, R.EM, and Ariana Grande Eau de Parfum.
In 2017, Ariana made a whopping £105 million from her fragrance empire.
And it looks like she is set to expand into the beauty market.
The ‘Dangerous Woman’ hitmaker recently filed a trademark for a line of beauty products, which is reportedly also named after her 2018 single ‘God Is A Woman’, according to Trendmood.
It covers everything from skincare to body products, including mists, soufflés, perfumes, shower and bath gels.
Ariana has long been a beauty icon with her high ponytails and signature eyeliner that helped her make-up artist land his own beauty line in 2018.
Patrick Ta – who is responsible for Grande’s iconic look on her ‘Sweetener’ album cover – revealed that he had been “working on” his line for two years before its launch.
Speaking on his Instagram story at the time, the beauty mogul said: “I have something super special and exciting that I wanted to share with you guys. It’s something that I’ve been working on for the last two years now. So, it’s been so hard to keep everything such a secret because I’m obsessed with it – and I can’t keep a secret. But I am launching my first beauty line and I am so excited about it because I’ve worked so hard on the formulas and they’re just so beautiful. “So it hasn’t launched yet but I will be posting on my Instagram some of the products soon. I will be using them on my clients and I wonder if you guys can guess what I’m coming out with.”

The 24-year-old actress carries a pair of the slide-on shoes in her bag wherever she goes despite knowing that people have a varied opinion of the footwear.
She told Page Six Style: “Controversial statement: I always bring my Birkenstocks with me. Either people love them or people say they look like the ugliest shoes alive. I love them so much. They go with everything. I think they look so cute with a high-waisted denim short and a simple white tee — my favourite’s from L’Agence — with a French tuck.”
The ‘To All The Boys I Loved Before’ star designed her own Vera Bradley bag and carries all her essentials inside.
She explained: “I designed this backpack because I really wanted a great set bag for myself; hopefully other people will want to use it for work or school or as a gym bag or travel bag. But for me, it was a set bag. I really wanted a bright, fun pattern inside so I could find things easier. I’ve been able to carry everything I need to work with me, and I carry quite a lot of stuff … like, a true Mary Poppins!”
As well as an extra pair of comfy footwear, Lana also packs cleansing wipes so she “isn’t a sweaty mess” and a pack of dog treats.
She said: “I have a dog, but I also am constantly on the lookout for dogs, just in life. And so I keep dog treats with me, because then if I see dogs on set or on the street, I just give them to them. Because I want their love!”
The collaboration with the handbag company is a full-circle moment as she was given her first Vera Bradley bag when she was 12 years old.
She said previously: “All the women in my family are huge Vera Bradley fans. When I was younger, I remember always seeing my family toting around their beautiful, bright coloured, fun bags, and I remember always wanting to be a part of that. And then, when I was 12 or 13, my mom gave me my first Vera Bradley bag to use as my ballet bag when I would go to class, and it felt like very much a right of passage because all of the women in my family had them.
“Since then, I’ve carried my love for Vera Bradley with me because it reminds me of my family, my mom, and really good memories. When this partnership came to be, I was shocked because it felt like a full-circle moment!”

Salma Hayek: Meditation maintains body expectations

OHMYGOSSIP — Salma Hayek uses meditation to be comfortable with her body.
The 54-year-old actress recently put on weight for her performance in ‘House of Gucci’ and, although it is taking longer for her to lose the extra pounds, meditation has helped her to let go of the pressure that Hollywood puts on her to maintain an ideal body size.
She told InStyle: “I’ve lost very little. You go, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa.’ You gain it so fast, but it takes so long to lose it. [Because of the pressures of] what’s expected for a woman who people consider good-looking. As you get older, you’re expected not to age.
“[Given] how much mileage I put on my body and how much pressure and judgment I put on it, my body has been incredibly generous. I don’t think I am some hot tamale, but I know that for my age, for the lifestyle that I lived, I’m not doing too badly. And I attribute all of this to meditation.”
The ‘Frida’ star began her journey with meditation in her 30s after experiencing lower back pain but it has since helped her to accept her body in a “different way”.
She added: “It makes you experience your body with a lightness that’s really delicious and satisfying. With the breathing and the going inside, you explore your body in a different way, and you learn not to go crazy with the expectations.”
Meanwhile, Salma – who married Francois-Henri Pinault in 2009 – joked she “landed” the chairman and CEO of French luxury goods firm Kering as she “doesn’t care” about fashion.
She said of her other half: ​”We understand each other really well. “I’m lucky, and it makes my life easier, but it was never a priority for me. “One friend said, ‘I cannot believe that out of all of us, the one who cares the least about fashion is the one who landed that guy!’ So I told my husband this. He laughed and said, ‘That’s why you landed me.'”

Victoria Beckham releases Spice Girls Pride tee

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham has created a Pride tee with the Spice Girls.
The 47-year-old singer – who rose to fame with the pop group in the 1990s but declined to be part of the last reunion in 2019 – has collaborated with the 90s girl group to release a limited edition ‘Wannabe’ T-shirt to help raise money for the Albert Kennedy Trust, which works to combat LGBTQ+ youth homelessness in the UK.
In a statement, she said: “Pride to me is a celebration of being completely yourself and this year’s T-Shirt is a reminder of that. The Spice Girls really championed accepting yourself and others, being kind, having fun and just living your best life! The LGBTQ+ community is so close to my heart and I’m so proud to be supporting Pride 2021 with A.K.T. again this year.”
As well as the special ‘Wannabe’ t-shirt, the singer has released a leather pouch embellished with ‘Proud and Wannabe Your Lover’.
It comes after Victoria – whose alter ego Posh Spice was known for her short bobs and little black dresses in the girl group – recently looked back fondly at the ‘Viva Forever’ hitmakers’ clothing and make-up choices because they always wore whatever they wanted and created new trends rather than followed them.
She said: “I look at us all, and it makes me smile because we didn’t care. Whether it was fashion or beauty, we didn’t care. We wore what made us feel good. We weren’t worried, ‘Is this the newest, coolest?’ We set trends because there was no fear.”
The chart-toppers were known for wearing platforms, bold prints, suit jackets with a flash of bra on display, camouflage and more.

She told Vogue: “Yeah, this was fun with me and my stepdad. We got into a little bit of an argument. It was a lot of boobs. Ah, he’s just protective. It’s fun. I was 18 years old. This was ‘Love You Like a Love Song,’ the video that we did for it, which to this day, honestly, is still one of my favorite songs.
“I thought it was my time to cross over and become a pop star, whatever that was to me then. It just was really fun. Bebe Rexha launches lingerie line

OHMYGOSSIP — Bebe Rexha has designed her first lingerie line.
The 31-year-old singer has partnered with Adore Me to release a three-part capsule collection of underwear she hopes will encourage body positivity and help women embrace their sexy side.
She told People: “I’m all about body positivity, inclusivity, and I was really excited to partner with a brand that really believes in that and has been pushing that for awhile.
“As a woman who wasn’t the cookie-cutter pop-star, I hope to inspire women to love their bodies and feel beautiful at any size.”
The line of bras, panties, bustiers, corsets and bodysuits will be launching throughout the summer with sizes from 30A to 46DDD and XS to 4X.
It also includes a special rainbow-covered bra that Rexha designed in celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in honor of Pride Month that was inspired by the love and support she feels from her LGBTQ+ fans after she opened up about her sexual fluidity.
She said: “There’s so many different things that you can be and I think it’s about not judging yourself and being compassionate and not judging others.
“I’ve been inspired by the LGBTQ+ community and just the fact that I never feel judged when I’m in that community. I think that’s what it’s all about.”
However, the ‘Break My Heart’ hitmaker admitted she was initially “intimidated” to work with the lingerie brand as she knew she would have to try them on.
She explained: “I think I was just more scared of, ‘Oh my God I have to wear some of these two-pieces on camera,’ but I did it and I felt good.
“I just wanted to feel good and be comfortable as well as looking hot. It all comes from within and it’s all about what makes you feel good. That’s what shines. You could be wearing the hottest outfits and if you don’t feel good in it, what’s the point?”

JoJo Siwa ditches hair bow

OHMYGOSSIP — Jojo Siwa has ditched her signature bow.
The 18-year-old YouTuber – who came out as pansexual earlier this year – decided to switch up her hairstyle to show she has matured, but admitted it was harder to tell her mother she wanted to ditch her signature do than it was to come out.
When Siwa’s mother asked her if it was “harder to come out to me or tell me that you wanna wear your hair different?”, she said: “I was like, ‘It surprisingly was harder to tell you that I wanted to wear my hair different.'”
The decision was a difficult choice for JoJo to make after she has worn the bow in her hair for the past 18 years but thought it was time to make a change.
In a chat with Instagram head Adam Mosseri, she explained: “I just had my 18th birthday and it was right around my birthday that I realized, ‘I kinda wanna do my hair different today.’
“It just felt like the right time and to do something different and to do something maybe a little bit more mature or a little upgrade.”
However, the ‘Dance Moms’ star claims she won’t be ditching bows for good just yet.
She added: “The bow is still a part of my life. I still love bows, I forever will. They’re who I am, but maybe I won’t wear it every day.”
It comes after JoJo – who is dating girlfriend Kylie after coming out as gay in January – isn’t keen on labels for her sexuality but she believes that “technically” she is pansexual because “her human is her human”.
She said: “I still don’t know what I am. It’s like, I want to figure it out. And I have this joke. Her name is Kylie. And so I say that I’m Ky-sexual. But like, I don’t know, bisexual, pansexual, queer, lesbian, gay, straight. I always just say gay because it just kind of covers it or queer because I think the keyword is cool. I like queer. Technically I would say that I am pansexual because that’s how I have always been my whole life is just like, my human is my human.”

The former ‘Glee’ star- who is engaged to David Stanley – was “feeling the love” when she went shopping for her wedding dress at the Los Angeles-based bridal boutique Kinsley James Couture Bridal.
She headed to the boutique in search of an “understated, classic and clean” gown to match her daily fashion choices and leaned toward form-fitting, mermaid silhouettes before realising she wanted “something with more room!”
Speaking to Brides, she said: “I definitely wanted a beautiful, big train! I wanted to represent something that felt very me but an elevated version.”
The 35-year-old actress tried on a structured lace couture Eisen Stein ballgown but knew she wanted a gown that felt a little more playful.
Next, she modelled a strapless Marchesa “Everlee” dress and couldn’t stop beaming at herself in the mirror.
She said: “Marchesa always brings a smile to your face and their dresses make you feel good.”
However, Jenna kept her final choice to herself so she can unveil it to everyone on her wedding day but she was not expecting to have found the perfect gown.
She explained: “I was not expecting to land quite on my dress, [but] it’s just a feeling that I went with. Be sure to listen to your gut and your excitement. Don’t let others sway you.”
Jenna revealed she was engaged to her partner of two years by showing off her engagement ring in a photo, in which she stood alongside David while holding their French bulldog, Bear.
She captioned the post: “Yes, a million times, yes.”
Her partner shared the same image along with the caption: “Yes [three heart emojis] (sic)”
The couple’s friends rushed to offer their congratulations, including Demi Lovato.
She excitedly commented: “DOUBLE SOON TO BE MARRIED ENGAGED COUPLES DATE SOON ASAP “I’M SO HAPPY FOR YOU (sic)”

Ariana Grande trademarks beauty line

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande is reportedly launching a beauty line.
The 27-year-old singer filed a trademark for a line of beauty products, which is reportedly named after her 2018 single ‘God Is A Woman’, according to Trendmood.
It covers everything from skincare to body products, including mists, soufflés, perfumes, shower and bath gels.
The ‘Thank U, Next’ hitmaker has long been a beauty icon with her high ponytails and signature eyeliner that helped her make-up artist land his own beauty line in 2018.
Patrick Ta – who is responsible for Grande’s iconic look on her ‘Sweetener’ album cover – revealed that he had been “working on” his line for two years before its launch.
Speaking on his Instagram story at the time, the beauty mogul said: “I have something super special and exciting that I wanted to share with you guys. It’s something that I’ve been working on for the last two years now. So, it’s been so hard to keep everything such a secret because I’m obsessed with it – and I can’t keep a secret. But I am launching my first beauty line and I am so excited about it because I’ve worked so hard on the formulas and they’re just so beautiful. “So it hasn’t launched yet but I will be posting on my Instagram some of the products soon. I will be using them on my clients and I wonder if you guys can guess what I’m coming out with.”
However, Ariana has already dipped her toes into the beauty world herself with the launch of several fragrances, including Cloud, R.EM, and Ariana Grande Eau de Parfum.
Her six fragrances have made the star over £105 million in 2017.
