Hunter McGrady learning to love postpartum body

OHMYGOSSIP — Hunter McGrady is learning to love her postpartum body.
The Sports Illustrated model – who has Hudson Tynan with husband Brian Keys – feels “grateful” for her body 12 days after giving birth despite her “loose skin” and stretchmarks.
She wrote: “I’m Just a girl, standing in front of a mirror, 12 days postpartum, with breast milk stains, and depends diapers, pure exhaustion, asking herself to learn to love this new body.
“To give herself grace, to feel the gummy-ness of her new tummy, and the loose skin and remembering that this body not only created life, but housed it for 9 months, went 45 hours into labor, and is now feeding it daily all with one vessel.
“I feel so grateful for this body today. Leaky breasts, bloody diapers(on my end) new stretch marks, gummy tummy and all. (sic)”
Hunter, 28, welcomed her baby boy at the end of June and revealed the meaning behind his name, which is a tribute to her younger brother Tynan, who died in May at age 23.
She said at the time: “I’ve never known this kind of love. The healing we desperately needed. I can’t wait to tell him how special his middle name is.”
During the course of her pregnancy, the model opened up about the lack of representation for plus-size pregnant women.
She wrote: “Being plus size the representation already falls incredibly short, but being plus size AND pregnant? Forget it.
“When I embarked on this journey I was excitedly googling pregnancy, plus size pregnancy, bump pictures, updates, all the things! However, I never saw myself represented.
“I knew going into this my belly wasn’t going to be this perfect little round thing that just bops out, I knew I wouldn’t have options for maternity wear, I knew my body would change in different ways than I have seen my whole life, and yet I don’t know if I was prepared for how much the plus size pregnancy representation lacks.”
Hunter continued: “There aren’t any plus size pregnant women on magazine covers, advertisements, television, or even the brochure’s at the OBGYN office. It’s almost as if we don’t exist, like we’re an anomaly. I’m here to tell you that you are not a ‘one off’ you’re not wrong for being plus size and pregnant, your body is equipped for this.
“Wherever you are on your journey just remember how wildly worthy you are to experience this and enjoy every moment of it just as anyone else.”

Gossip Girl reboot changed approach to makeup

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘Gossip Girl’ reboot changed its approach to makeup.
Lead makeup artist, Amy Tagliamonti – who worked on both the original 2007 set and its 2021 revival – opted for filled-in brows to show that beauty trends have changed over the past 14 years with the rise of social media.
She said: “Our approach to eyebrows was really different this time around; we didn’t want to tweeze the heck out them.
“Instead of focusing on perfection, we used a lot of brow gels and waxes. Emily Lind who plays Audrey really loved the soap-brow look, so we did that. Of course, Glossier Boy Brow and Brow Flick were staples for everyone.”
Amy noted that the new character would have a different beauty routine compared to Serena van der Wooden and Blair Waldorf – played by Blake Lively and Leighton Meester, respectively – as social media has taught beauty lovers how to experiment with makeup.
She told Refinery29: “Now, social media is a huge part of the show. With Julien — the lead cool girl who has a shaved head played by Jordan Alexander — she’s a high-school student, but also an influencer. Monet and Luna are her best friends, but also her production team. Serena and Blair never had that element, because it just wasn’t around yet.
“This cast is large, but everyone has their own unique storyline. For example, Zoya, played by Whitney Peak, she’s the new freshman at Constance, so for her look, we had to reflect on what a 14-year-old coming to New York City might look like. Then, on the flip side, Julian, she’s an influencer, so her makeup is definitely more experimental.”
However, Amy wanted to keep the makeup natural to ensure the school girls looked “approachable”.
She explained: “I really kept natural beauty in mind. We used influences from the outside world, but I always remind myself that these are high-school students who go to a prep school. Yes, they are chic, there’s a glossiness to them, but I still want them to seem approachable. There are times where the character is just rolling out of bed, and in those instances, I don’t want to give them a full-face of makeup because that’s not real.”

Alicia Keys: Stressful encounters ruin my skin

OHMYGOSSIP — Alicia Keys keeps stressful encounters to a minimum for her skin.
The 40-year-old singer has found keeping toxic people at an arm’s length has helped keep her skin under control as she would often suffer breakouts when “shady people” caused her stressed.
She said: “The best piece of skincare advice — honestly — that I’ve ever been given is to keep shady people away from you.
“I think that we know the people that are for us and not for us. The minute people start to show you that they’re not for you, just move out of that stratosphere. It changes everything: it changes your spirit, it changes your face and it changes your skin, because that energy affects us. Life taught me that and, to me, that’s the best skincare advice.”
Since then, the ‘No One’ hitmaker has never been afraid to cut people off for the sake of her skin.
She told Refinery29: “Why do we spend so much time with people that bring us a bunch of negativity? We’re so excusing of it, but we excuse people bringing us what we don’t deserve. Only accept what you deserve.”
Meanwhile, Alicia recently released her skincare line Keys Soulcare that comes with a positive affirmation meant to be spoken as you wash your face as she noticed her skin is affected by “good energy”.
She explained: “For me, I’ve realised that the glow is about what’s surrounding you, what energy you’re holding and keeping, what people are around you.
“When my skin was not good, it’s because the energy around me was not good. That’s why Keys Soulcare is all about creating the good energy that we all need.”
It comes after the chart-topper added three body care products to her line – including a Body + Hand Wash, Rich Nourishing Body Cream, and Sacred Body Oil – in hopes of changing the way people view their bodies.
She added: “I think so many of us feel a certain way about our body and even our experience in our body. So I love that with the Hand + Body Wash, for example, the mantra is ‘I love myself as I am.’ I mean, rub that on your body, think of that, and I feel like it changes everything for the day.”

Willow Smith unveiled as the face o Mugler’s Alien Goddess fragrance

OHMYGOSSIP — Willow Smith is the new face of Mugler’s Alien Goddess fragrance.
The ‘Transparent Soul’ rocker has been chosen to front the campaign for the luxury perfume brand as they want to appeal to a younger audience.
Mugler’s global brand president, Sandrine Groslier, told WWD: “We want to seduce Gen Z with a new concept full of benevolence, an allegory of hope, and to do so we chose that name, Goddess.”
And the 20-year-old singer – who is the daughter of Hollywood power couple Will and Jada Pinkett Smith – hailed the brand for making a scent that comes with a “powerful message of kindness, hope and joy”.
She added in a statement: “To me, this fragrance is a manifesto.
“It urges us to be wholly ourselves, to brandish what makes us unique with pride. Beyond that, Alien Goddess gives us the strength to find the best within ourselves, whoever we are, in order to accomplish extraordinary things with a positive impact on the world and those around us. It’s a powerful message of kindness, hope and joy.”
Meanwhile, Willow – who was just 13 when she released her debut single ‘Whip My Hair’ – recently admitted her famous parents were apprehensive about her choice of career at first, because she was too young and naive to take their warnings seriously, and eventually found she needed to “take a step back” and figure out her path.
She shared: “I started dancing at the age of seven. I think that was around the time that I was starting to get into doing music.
“But I had made a GarageBand song on the set of ‘Karate Kid’ in China, and I brought it to my parents. I remember being so excited going, ‘Guys, I really think this is what I wanna do. I really think I want to sing.’ And the first thing that they said to me was, ‘Are you sure?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah. I’m sure.’
“And they said, ‘Okay, we just want to make sure because it’s going to be a lot of work. We just want you to know that you’re really young. And most of the people who do this are much older than you, and you have to handle a lot more pressure.’ They told me right off the bat.
“I was so young that I just didn’t really believe them. And lo and behold, I got to a place where it was just too much. I just needed to take a step back and figure out what I wanted to do.”
Willow is now facing “an added pressure” because she’s following a more rock direction and she admitted her love of “metal culture” made her a target for bullies when she was younger.
She said: “Being a Black woman in the metal crowd is very, very different on top of the pressures that the music industry puts on you. Now, it’s like an added pressure of the metal culture, the metal world, and just rock in general. I used to get bullied in school for listening to Paramore and My Chemical Romance.”

Kate Winslet’s menstrual cycle dictates her foundation choice

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Winslet’s choice of foundation is dictated by her menstrual cycle.
The ‘Mare of Easttown’ star has revealed she wears a different shade of product depending on how “inflamed” or “even” her complexion is during the process of ovulation and menstruation.
Speaking to Allure, she said: “Depending on my cycle, my skin can be a little bit more inflamed. Do you know what I mean?
“At the beginning of my cycle, my skin is a lot more even.
“In the middle of my cycle, everything fires up a little bit, so I mix a couple of tones.”
The 45-year-old actress insisted she is “going easy” on herself because she is at an age where everything is “changing” all the time.
She continued: “I’ve noticed my face and how it’s changing a little bit more in the last year because there’s just been more time with yourself to look at those things. What I’ve found is that — to my relief — I’m just going easy on myself. I’m at an age now where things are changing all the time. The skin on my neck is really different now, the skin on the back of my hands needs some serious TLC.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Titanic’ star recently admitted she feels comfortable with the idea of looking “like s***” on screen.
The British star insisted she doesn’t have the same hang-ups about her appearance that she used to have.
She said: “I’m actually at a particularly interesting time in my career of being in my mid-40s, knowing that the real glamour parts, I don’t have to play anymore. I’m pleased and also feel proud that it’s my right to just look like s*** on screen now. I feel like, yes, I can just do all of that. It’s lovely.
“I’ve been doing this for 28 years. I don’t have the face or the body that I had 20 years ago, and that’s really okay. I’m fine with that. And so, knowing that I can play parts and not have to alter my own changing self or adjust those things, feels like a great indulgence, quite honestly. It’s a good feeling.”

Paloma Faith launches affordable home range

OHMYGOSSIP — Paloma Faith has added interior designer to her CV with the launch of her debut Paloma Home collection.
The ‘Only Love Can Hurt Like This’ singer has a new affordable line available via Fabric Direct.
Inspired by the furnishings of her childhood home and the redesigning of her swish London townhouse upbringing, the line boasts a mix of vintage, retro-chic, and bold styles.
What’s more, the pieces start from just £21.
The mother-of-two said in a press release: “That’s what I love about Paloma Home, you can have one piece and it changes a room – or you can embrace the whole collection, and it still works.”
The 39-year-old music star is already known for her bold sense of style on and off the stage, and the collection – which includes seating, covers, bedding, wallpapers, and blinds – includes striking animal prints and monochrome stripes.
The ‘Pennyworth’ star added: “Home for me is a place where there is warmth, life, vibrancy and human touch, something truly ‘lived in’. So much beauty emerges from chaos – and I hope to share this sentiment with Paloma Home.”
Paloma Home includes the Oriental Birds Blossom range, Tibetan Tiger collection, and Velvet Ruffle products.
When asked to describe the aesthetic of her own home, Paloma said: “Vintage, eclectic, bohemian vomit.”
The ‘Changing’ hitmaker spilled that she collects pieces from eBay and even has an extra suitcase to bring back her finds from the countries she visits when she is on tour for her pad, which she shares with long-time partner Leyman Lahcine.
In an interview with Livingetc, she continued: “I became quite fanatical about doing up my house.
“People thought I had an interior designer, but it was all from eBay and antiques festivals. Pre-Covid, I travelled a lot and I’d often buy another suitcase to bring back pictures and vases.
“I love it when people tell me they would never have thought to put all these clashing things together yet it looks warm, and like a home.”
The range is now available to buy at Fabric Direct Online.

The K-Pop septet – comprising Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook – chose from 34 new pieces from the luxury French fashion brand’s line to wear in the film by Korean director Jeon Go-woon.
A statement read: “The film stages a conversation between space, movement and global connectivity central to our moment in time, and explores the city of Seoul through the lens of diversity.”
Artistic director, Virgil Abloh added: “Seoul has such a unique energy and BTS embody this vibe completely. They add their spin to the collection, make it their own and take it to new heights.”
It comes after BTS were named brand ambassadors of Louis Vuitton in April.
LV said: “BTS’ ubiquitous popularity resonates worldwide and Louis Vuitton is very happy to share news of their new role within the House.”
In a statement, the group said: “Becoming global brand ambassadors for Louis Vuitton is a truly exciting moment for us.”

In January, LV credited BTS with boosting viewing figures for their spring 2021 men’s show.
Their fanbase made up many of the record 105 million views of the virtual showcase.
The ‘IDOL’ hitmakers had posted shots of themselves wearing pieces from the collection on social media, which prompted fans to speculate that they could take part in the show.
Even though the band members didn’t partake, the ARMY – the name of their loyal fanbase – tuned in for the event in their droves just in case.

Demi Moore stars in Andie Swim’s campaign with daughters

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Moore and her daughters appear in Andie Swim’s summer campaign.
The 58-year-old actress – who has Rumer, 32, Scout, 29, and Tullulah, 27, with ex-husband Bruce Willis – suggested her offspring join her in the swimwear brand’s ‘Together’ project to mark the “pivotal summer” following the coronavirus pandemic.
President and chief executive officer of Andie Swim, Melanie Travis explained: “I reached out to her and asked how she would feel about partnering for a campaign in this historic, pivotal summer, what I hoped would be coming out of a global pandemic, and she was excited to think about it with me, and here we are.
“Somewhere along the way she [Moore] said, ‘What about if we included my daughters in here?’”
The trio donned Andie’s hero suits, including The Amalfi, The Malibu and The Tulum, for the photoshoot which was captured by Cass Bird at her home in East Hampton, New York.
Travis continued: “They were very game, they stayed for a while out east. We had a great time. We weren’t originally going to shoot at Cass’ house, but the spirit of this brand is about community and our people and having fun, and Cass said, ‘Let’s shoot in my backyard.’”
Demi first joined Andie Swim in 2017 as an investor and has since become an advisor to the brand with her insights on products and marketing.
Now, she is thrilled to be able to “seize opportunities” with her daughters.
The ‘Ghost’ star told WWD: “Over the past year, connection has become more crucial than ever. I’ve been a supporter of Andie from the beginning as an investor, and now, more than ever, felt like a perfect time to join them in welcoming a summer of freedom and togetherness. Especially sharing it with my daughters. It was important to me to include my daughters in this campaign, and I hope others seize opportunities in their lives to create meaningful connections and celebrate every moment with the people they love.”

Heidi Klum joins prestigious CAA Fashion agency

OHMYGOSSIP — Leni Klum has signed to CAA Fashion.
The 17-year-old daughter of German supermodel Heidi Klum and musician Seal has joined the roster of the elite Hollywood agency.
It comes months after Leni landed her first magazine cover appearance alongside her mom for Vogue Germany late last year.
Meanwhile, Heidi is in a legal battle with her father over her daughter’s name.
The ‘America’s Got Talent’ star and her father, Gunther, are at loggerheads over commercial deals for Heidi’s eldest daughter Leni, 17, who is a model.
Gunther, 75, has trademarked Leni’s name and registered his paperwork with the European Union in March this year, where he also trademarked Leni’s nickname Mausekatze, which means mouse cat.
However, 47-year-old Heidi has fired off a legal challenge to try and win the rights to Leni’s name herself.
German lawyer Stephan Ruben told Bild newspaper: “Should Gunther Klum violate the rights of third parties he will be threatened with an injunction which, if granted, will cost him €250,000 or six months of jail.
“So far there is no injunction but the lawyers threatened him with it. That’s why he sent a letter [posted on his Instagram] and wrote ‘you are even threatening me with jail time’.”
Gunther has also insisted he has always dealt with family trademark rights, and because Leni is named after his own mother, he believes the rights to her trademark should belong to him.
He said: “I requested the trademark of Leni months ago. She has her name from my mother Leni. The rights to the trademark Leni Klum are with me.”
Heidi was previously managed by her father until they reportedly fell out in 2019 after she tied the knot with Tokio Hotel rocker Tom Kaulitz.
Meanwhile, Heidi’s ex-husband Seal – with whom she has Leni, as well as Henri, 15, Johan, 14, and Lou, 11 – recently said he wasn’t happy about his daughter following Heidi’s footsteps into modelling.
He said: “That’s a precarious road to take.”
But the ‘Kiss From A Rose’ hitmaker admitted his kids aren’t interested in his own career.
He added: “We never really talk about my music at all.”

Margot Robbie uses nappy cream as lip balm

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie uses nappy cream as a lip balm.
The 31-year-old actress keeps an array of goodies in her Chanel backpack for when she is on the go, including hand sanitiser, face sprits, and Bepanthen nappy ointment for her lips as it is more soothing than lip balm.
She explained: “This is Bepanthan, it’s an antiseptic cream technically for baby’s nappies and stuff but I use it as a lip balm and it’s really good.”
The ‘Suicide Squad’ star likes to make a fashion statement by taking her luxury handbag everywhere as she is always “on the run”.
She told British Vogue: “My bag is a Chanel backpack so I think that would say I’m interested in fashion but I’m also quite pragmatic. I’m on the run. I’ve got lots going on.”
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty previously revealed she feels at her most “attractive” when she is living in the “moment” and “being free” because women are “strong” and “feminine” when they are “genuinely having fun”.
She said: “Women are strong, and distinctly feminine characteristics are also distinctly strong characteristics. Being feminine isn’t a sign of weakness any more. Something I’ve been talking about with my girlfriends lately is that we all look our best when we’re smiling and having fun – when I catch people in that moment when they’re genuinely laughing, that’s when they’re glowing and look gorgeous. I think having fun and being free is the most attractive thing … doing whatever makes you feel your best so that you show your best qualities to the world.”

Virgil Abloh: Off-White has matured

OHMYGOSSIP — Virgil Abloh says his autumn/winter 2021 collection is “grown up”.
The fashion label’s CEO debuted his upcoming line during Haute Couture Week in Paris, France at the weekend – with Bella Hadid walking the runway in a striking blue gown – and the fashion designer has admitted Off-White has matured since his last collection.
He told Vogue: “It’s rebelling against the younger version of myself.
“This is the first time I’ve actually said that. Normally I say I’m trying to stay the younger version of myself. But in a weird ‘ta-dah’ way, it’s like: Off-White should be adult!”
Virgil says he did a lot of growing up himself amid the COVID-19 pandemic which seeped into his designs.
He added: “If I were to look at my body of work, especially through the year off, I think I’ve grown up the most in the shortest amount of time. And that is super apparent when I look at the work. I see a maturity.”
Meanwhile, the fashion muse previously revealed he started his fashion brand to pursue architecture.
The 40-year-old designer received a master’s degree in architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology but created Off-White to “investigate” architecture instead of following a traditional route.
He said: “I don’t believe in disciplines. We can use our architecture brain and do many things, not just what we’re supposed to do.
“I started a career to make a brand to do architecture rather than just work at SOM, or wherever I would have naturally gone starting my architecture career. I made a brand to sort of investigate architecture in a way.”

Selena Gomez’s empowering swimwear line

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez says her swimwear collection with La’Mariette “celebrates women who love their bodies unconditionally”.
The ‘Heart Wants What It Wants’ hitmaker took to Instagram to share a snap of her modelling one of the bold designs from her line with her friend, and she revealed the inspiration behind their collaboration.
She captioned the pool snap: “So grateful that I get the opportunity to celebrate my friends’ endeavors. My collaboration with @lamariette is out today!
“What I love about this brand is that it celebrates women who love their bodies unconditionally giving themselves the grace they deserve. Hope you love it as much as I do.”
Selena also took to her Instagram Story to share a behind-the-scenes snap to show what she looked like in one of their bikinis without any editing.
It comes after the 28-year-old singer slammed society’s “impossible beauty standards”.
The Rare Beauty founder wants to “challenge and eliminate” the pressure for people to look a certain way and she thinks it’s crazy that society “constantly tells us that we’re not enough”.
Speaking about the correlation with mental health, she said: “Society constantly tells us that we’re not enough, so I wanted to start a brand to challenge and eliminate that pressure – to change the conversation. My goal with Rare Beauty is to break down these unrealistic standards of beauty. I saw from personal experience how these impossible beauty standards were having such an effect on my mental health and I know a lot of people who felt the same way.”
And Selena is also very focused on the link between social media and mental health, so much so that she encourages her company’s employees to “detox” from sites like Instagram and Facebook for weekends at a time.
She added: “At Rare Beauty we do social detox weekends often when we encourage our community to log off for the weekend.”

Maya Jama confesses her skincare routine balances out a multitude of sins

OHMYGOSSIP — Maya Jama says her skincare routine is her “balance” to “make up” for her multitude of “sins”.
The 26-year-old MIJ Masks founder has confessed that her lifestyle isn’t the healthiest, as she loves to indulge in fast food and drink booze, and doesn’t always get enough shut-eye after hitting the town.
However, the British star’s beauty “ritual” is her act of self-care.
She told The Independent: “100% it’s a ritual.
“I’m not that healthy in my lifestyle – I drink, I party, I don’t sleep that much, I eat s****. So, my skincare is my balance, where I feel like I make up for my sins. OK, I’ve had three McDonald’s and I went to bed at four, but I’ve had a mask and a cleanse, and I’ve got my eye masks on, so I’m making up for it.”
The ‘Glow Up’ host – who launched her skincare brand in December 2020 – insisted it was a no-brainer to release her own face and eye masks.
She said: “I’m obsessed with skincare and I’ve always been a face mask girl.
“I ended up promoting loads of other people’s brands for free – but I am the consumer, why would I not make my own when I know what’s good?”
Elsewhere, Maya revealed one of her biggest beauty mistakes was using hair removal cream on her whole head, and now she has “extra hairy cheeks” as a result.
She recalled: “I saw some hairs on my cheek, which is very normal. I found my mum’s hair removal cream, did my moustache (which I do), but I thought, ‘Why don’t I just do my whole head?’ So, I did my whole head. I had a rash for about a week – this is in secondary school time. Now I get extra hairy cheeks because I did that.”

Richard Madden’s new role

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Madden is the new face of Calvin Klein’s Defy fragrance.
The ‘Game of Thrones’ star has followed in the footsteps of the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal and Kate Moss by starring in one of the luxury brand’s campaigns.
Speaking to GQ about his new gig, the 35-year-old actor said: “I’ve always been a fan of Calvin Klein and having the opportunity to partner with the brand on the launch of their new fragrance, Calvin Klein Defy, has been an exciting adventure.”
The new scent hits Boots stores on July 15.
Richard was named GQ’s Most Stylish Man at the 2019 GQ Men of the Year awards, but it’s not an accolade he believes he deserved.
While he was grateful for the honour, he insisted his stylist should take the credit for dressing him in fashionable clothes.
Speaking on stage after being handed the award by Rita Ora, Richard said: “My friends will find it most amusing that I’ve won this award, one I don’t really think that I deserve. Actors mostly spend their lives wearing other people’s clothes, and so it really is other people who should take the credit for this tonight.
“So thank you very much to Hugo Boss for this gorgeous tux, and thank you very much to Gareth Scarfield, my stylist, who finds many ideal ways to cloak all of my insecurities. Thank you, Gareth.”

Beyonce’s mom amended Beyonce’s 2011 VMAs outfit 2 hours before stage time

OHMYGOSSIP — Tina Knowles-Lawson has recalled having to amend Beyonce’s 2011 MTV VMAs outfit two hours before she was due on stage.
The ‘Irreplaceable hitmaker’s mom had to think fast after the wide-legged pants her daughter chose for her performance of ‘Love On Top’ didn’t fit as the singer was pregnant with her first child, nine-year-old Blue Ivy, at the time.
Tina wrote on Instagram: “Well this was a stressful night, at least it began that way!!! It wound up turning into a beautiful night but two hours before the performance we realized that the pants that I had gotten made were too tight and uncomfortable the panel that I had put in them was not stretchy enough. So Two hours before the performance I was at A Pea in the Pod Maternity shop. I bought two sizes in maternity pants but wound up taking the panel off of one of them and putting it in the ones that I had made! Because the shape of the store bought ones was not right! (sic)”
The 39-year-old superstar announced her pregnancy at the end of the performance by opening her glittery suit jacket and revealing her bump, and it was such a “relief” for her parent.
The designer also spoke of the efforts they went to in order to disguise the bump at Glastonbury and other concerts.
Tina added alongside a clip of the show: “Thank God it worked. And when she opened that jacket and showed her stomach it was the biggest relief ever for myself, Ty Hunter and Tim White. We didn’t have to keep the secret anymore. I didn’t have to design with the first priority being to camouflage the growing belly! Like Glastonbury, And even more stressful a live whole show at the Historical Roseland Ballroom! . Where we held our breath during the show because you could see her belly every once in a while !!! It was the best feeling in the world to her show the whole world that tummy (sic)”
Beyonce gave birth to four-year-old twins Rumi and Sir – whom she has with husband Jay-Z – in 2017.

Alicia Vikander is the new face of Louis Vuitton’s high-jewellery line

OHMYGOSSIP — Alicia Vikander is the new face of Louis Vuitton’s debut high-jewellery line.
The ‘Tomb Raider’ star was chosen for the role for her regalness and background in dance.
Michael Burke, the brand’s chief executive officer, said: “She’s very regal but approachable.”
The fashion house’s womenswear designer Nicolas Ghesquie has worked with the 32-year-old actress on her red carpet looks over the years, and knew she was the perfect match for the job.
Michael added how she had “the right energy, and the right type of grace and movement and expression to bring his clothes to life.”
Francesca Amfitheatrof is behind the jewellery and her designs were made for women like Alicia.
He continued: “She designs for that type of woman, she doesn’t design girly little flowers. Nobody needs another girly little flower thing, with centre stones and some brilliant diamonds around it. The market is full of that.”
Nicholas dressed Alicia for the red carpet when she promoted her 2015 drama film ‘The Danish Girl’ and the movie star insisted wearing the designer’s creations feels like her “armour” that can protect her from the glare of fame.
The Oscar-winner said previously: “Nicolas is a risk-taker. His work is fashion-forward but relatable. I feel cool and feminine in his clothes. They’re like my armour.”
Nicolas added that the ‘Ex Machina’ star has a “strong sense of self and style” and praised her for never compromising herself.
He said: “Alicia has a strong sense of self and style. Her life and career have been on a very fast trajectory, and yet she has remained the same determined, confident, and beautiful young woman since the beginning.
“I am always impressed by people who don’t make compromises. She can transform herself without betraying herself.”
