Naomi Campbell was dismissed as ‘nothing’

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Campbell was once told she’d be “nothing”. The 46-year-old supermodel is one of fashion’s most iconic names, but she was dismissed and told she’d never “make it” when she was starting her career.

She admitted someone had said: “You’re going to be nothing, you’re never going to be a household name, you’re never going to make it.” However, she refused to reveal who had made the cutting remark.
She simply smirked and said: “It don’t matter now.”

Elsewhere during her appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live’, Naomi revealed the biggest diva moment she had witnessed from another model was when someone deliberately stepped on her dress to rip it so she wouldn’t be able to walk in the second show – but the British beauty had the last laugh.

She smirked: “With the second show, opened it and closed it.”

During her interview, Naomi was shown pictures of celebrity body parts and asked to pick her favourites. She opted for Kendall Jenner’s legs over Gisele Bundchen’s, declared Joan Smalls’ bikini body better than Adriana Lima and favoured Tyra Banks’ eyes over Cara Delevingne’s. She also decided Miranda Kerr had a better cleavage than Chrissy Teigen and chose Cindy Crawford’s smile over Janice Dickinson’s.

But when it came to backsides, Naomi dismissed Heidi Klum’s butt as “flat” and Kate Moss’ as “wobbly”.

The catwalk queen also shared her tips for retaining her enviable physique. She said: “I try to eat well. I try to drink a lot of water. I do Pilates. I do facials and I moisturise and hydrate inside and out.”

Olivia Culpo’s lazy make-up routine

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Culpo does her make-up in bed. The 24-year-old beauty is gearing up for New York fashion week and the former Miss Universe is already planning ahead to ensure she can enjoy the parties while still looking her best.

She said: “I can get a little tired if I am going to parties so I think doing your make-up while you’re still in bed is a great tip!

“Also drink water, because a lot of the time if you’re dehydrated you can get tired. There’ll be tons of parties at Fashion Week, tons of outfit changes! It will be really exciting, it’s a great time of year, it’s when everyone starts to be really busy again and the fashion is amazing.”

Meanwhile, Olivia has singled out Victoria Beckham and Olivia Palermo as her fashion icons, despite their differing styles. She told People magazine: “I look up to a lot of different people, and their styles are so diverse, but a few to name would be Victoria Beckham and Olivia Palermo. I love Victoria’s simplicity and the elegance of that. I think Olivia is really interesting too, she mixes a lot of high and low items and dresses with a lot of different patterns. Those two are pretty all encompassing.”

Olivia likes to customise her clothes, especially as she can use any left-over fabric to create some of her favourite accessories. She explained: “I am obsessed with chokers – if you’re ever altering an item of clothing, and there’s a little extra material, you can use it to make a choker – so that’s definitely one of my style tips right now!”

Kylie Jenner dyes hair platinum + PHOTO!

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner has dyed her hair platinum blonde. The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star spent “all day” having her dark chocolate locks bleached after taking inspiration from her half-sister Kourtney Kardashian’s bottle blonde ‘do from when she was 16 years old.

Taking to her Snapchat account on Sunday (04.09.16), the 19-year-old businesswoman set tongues wagging when she shared a photograph of herself with her hair soaked in dye. She kept fans guessing over what shade she was going for by placing a black and white filter over top of the shot.

Kylie then added a short video of her gazing into the lens as she scratched her hair with a sharp dividing comb. She accompanied the clip with the caption: “The pain.”

Kylie’s decision to change up her look comes five days after she shared a throwback photograph of Kourtney in 1995.

The 37-year-old beauty decided to ditch her dark look for a vibrant blonde style 21 years ago but only managed to stick out the eye-catching ‘do for a month before dying it back. Writing on her app last week, Kourtney said alongside the throwback: “Even though I’ll probably never do something this extreme with my hair again – because it destroyed my hair and took forever to get healthy – I’m happy I tried it once.”
Kylie and Kourtney aren’t the only members of the family to try out the blonde look as Khloé Kardashian permanently has high-lighted hair, while Kim Kardashian West has gone platinum numerous times over the years.

OHMYGOSSIP – Tommy Hilfiger’s son has launch his own fashion range called Tango Hotel, and celebrated with a party at the Raleigh Hotel in Miami on Sunday (17.07.16). The 65-year-old fashion designer’s son Richard Hilfiger – who is also known as rapper Rich Hil – has followed in his famous father’s footsteps and has launched a new street-wear clothing line called Tango Hotel, which he has revealed he has been working on for the past three years.

The 26 year old – who has previously dated ‘Black Widow’ hitmaker Rita Ora – announced the news of his debut Spring/ Summer collection on social media. He tweeted: “Finally dropping our collection!! Been working on this for 3 years!!! Come to the party in Miami !!!! (sic).”

Richard also took to Instagram with a string of photos from his label to broadcast the news.

He wrote: “#TANGOHOTEL open for business (sic).”

Richard showcased items from his capsule on his Instagram account alongside the hashtag “#TANGOHOTEL (ic)”. The fashion range features men’s underwear and crew socks emblazoned with various bold prints and gothic emblems across them including the slogan ‘VIP’ carved onto gravestones, a pin-up woman posing on the beach, as well as sunset landscapes.

And the budding entrepreneur has revealed his favourite design from the clothing line is a pair of “pyjama pants”, which are detailed with miniature bottles of poison.

Alongside a photo of the garment, he wrote: “My favorite pajama pants#TANGOHOTEL @agendashow (sic).”

Richard celebrated his latest venture with a star studded bash at the Raleigh hotel on Miami Beach, America, on Sunday (17.07.16), which saw rapper Travis Scott take to the stage to allegedly perform for 45 minutes.

He shared a short video clip of the artist’s gig alongside the caption: “@travisscott last night for#TANGOHOTEL @theraleighhotel (sic).”

Katy Perry’s make-up brand is being sued

OHMYGOSSIP – Katy Perry’s CoverGirl Kit Kat Collection has been hit with a lawsuit by rival company Hard Candy as they claim the brand has allegedly copied their logo. The 31-year-old ‘Rise’ singer – who launched her cosmetics range CoverGirl Kit Kat Collection in April 2016 – has allegedly been found to infringe the rights of the beauty brand Hard Candy after copying their logo, which has led the rival company to take legal action against the singer’s executives at CoverGirl’s parent company Procter & Gamble.

The company claims the brunette beauty’s products reportedly share the exact same trademark packaging of a love heart symbol positioned in between the name of the brand and the name of the star, similar to Hard Candy’s layout – who have used the trademark emblem for over ten years.

Although the official reason for the lawsuit has yet to be confirmed, the company are urging all CoverGirl items, which include mascara, an array of bold lipsticks named after her favourite animal and foundations to be removed from stores immediately.

And, according to TMZ, Hard Candy are calling for a share of the profits made from the beauty range since it hit stores.

Meanwhile, Katy has admitted she was excited to work with the renowned company and launch her own collection for the label.

Speaking previously about her the make-up line and what she aimed to achieve, she said: “I obviously wanted a variety of classic colours, and colours that would fit all of the different skin tones, but for me, I always push the envelope and try for a unique look.

“I know CoverGirl has been around forever, and they’re super classic, but, for instance, they never had a black lipstick, and I’m like, ‘Guys, it’s 2016!'”

Gisele Bundchen is the new face of Givenchy Jeans

OHMYGOSSIP – Gisele Bündchen is the new face of Givenchy Jeans campaign, and she has shared images from the shoot via social media. The 35-year-old supermodel – who made her modelling debut on Alexander McQueen’s spring 1998 ready-to-wear catwalk – has joined forces with the luxury fashion house on their latest campaign, which was shot by fashion photographers Iango Henzi and Luigi Murenu.

The blonde beauty shared images from the shoot via Instagram on Saturday (09.07.16), and posted the photographs in black and white, which sees her pose topless except for a pair of denim jeans from the brand whilst perched on top of Brazilian actor Cauã Reymondin’s shoulders.

She captioned one post: “New @givenchyofficial jeans campaign Nova campanha jeans da@givenchyofficial. (sic).”

Whilst another post read: “#GGirl #GivenchyJeans (sic).”

However, the Brazilian-born catwalk icon – who boasts two decades at the helm of the fashion industry – has previously revealed she modelling will “always” be a part of her life.

Speaking previously, she said: “I am not retiring, I love learning and I love creating and I feel that will always be a part of my life. I am just emptying my glass, so I can fill it with things that are more aligned with who I am today.”

Meanwhile, the mother of two – who has six-year-old son Benjamin and three-year-old daughter Vivian with her husband Tom Brady – was told her nose was “too big” for magazine covers, and she would “never” grace the front of a glossy publication, which made her feel insecure.

Speaking previously about the criticism she faced on her journey to become a model, she said: “I remember some people telling me my nose was too big or my eyes were too small, that I could never be on a magazine cover.

“It wasn’t easy to be 14 and hear that kind of criticism. It made me feel insecure.”

Pierre Hardy creates imposing jewellery for Hermes

OHMYGOSSIP – Pierre Hardy describes his new high-end jewellery collaboration with Hermes as bold and “imposing”. The designer has worked at Hermes for over 25 years now, creating the brand’s footwear and trinkets. His latest offering is Continuum, a collection of “haute bijoux” or high-end jewellery, boasting pieces like a seven-rung bracelet and a three-tiered eternity band with sunrise-sunset stones.

“Joaillerie (jewellery) by definition starts with the stone,” he explained to Vogue.com. “We chose bijou because everything starts with shape and design. It can be something very simple in silver, or it can be something exceptional where we source the stones and cut them to fit. There’s a stylistic continuum there.”

The range marks Hardy’s fourth collection for Hermes, and the first in two years. He also used a rare pink opal weighing 18.6 carats in the Attelage Celeste pendant, which also includes an imperial topaz, diamonds and a brown sapphire.

“They’re pretty imposing,” Hardy added. “But the truth is that the woman is more determining than the jewel. The two together is what makes it work. It’s different every time, that’s the magic of it.”

In January (16) the fashion star’s hard work for Hermes was recognised when he was appointed Knight of the Legion of Honour by the label’s creative director Pierre-Alexis Dumas in Paris. Guests at the event included designer Louis Vuitton’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere, who praised Hardy’s talents.

“He has been an unwavering support since when I started (in the business). He was there, way before everyone else,” said Ghesquiere. “His longtime collaboration with Hermes and what he’s done with his own house is remarkable. He’s capable of both a great classicism – almost academic – and incredible fantasy.”

Roksanda Ilincic has to be ‘in control’ of her fashion label

OHMYGOSSIP – Roksanda Ilincic has confessed she finds it hard to pass over the control from her company to her colleagues and always has to be “in control” of her brand. The 37-year-old fashion designer – who launched the first flagship store for her eponymous clothing line in Mayfair in 2014 – has admitted she always wants to be “in control” of her label, and has recently learnt to share the tasks to cope with the fast pace of the fashion industry.

Speaking about the biggest obstacle she has had to overcome with her luxury brand, she said: “That you can’t do everything yourself. Having my own brand, I want to be in control of absolutely everything but that’s hard because there’s so much. I’ve had to teach myself to delegate.”

And the creative mastermind – who embarked on a Masters degree in Womenswear design at London’s Central Saint Martin’s in 2009 – has revealed she has taken a pro-active approach to work because she doesn’t understand laziness.

Speaking about the one trait she doesn’t possess, the brunette beauty explained: “Laziness. I’m the complete opposite. There has to be a balance and you have to be able to switch off but I have never understood people who can never be bothered.”

Meanwhile, Roksanda – who was crowned Red Carpet Designer at the British Elle Style Awards in 2013 – has revealed she has no plans to stop doing what she loves any time soon, and has no “fears” for her future career.

She said: “I don’t think there is a specific thing I’d like to know, I’d just like to continue to live a happy and fulfilled life and continue to learn every day.

“My fears aren’t connected to my career or myself.”

And Roksanda has confessed she loves to be complimented on her ensemble, but only when it is said from the heart. She explained: “I think everybody does [like a compliment]. And it’s easier to accept a compliment if you believe it is true.”

Maria Grazia Chiuri has left Valentino

OHMYGOSSIP – Maria Grazia Chiuri has left Valentino after 25 years at the Italian fashion house because she wants to continue her “artistic path” solo. The former creative director of the Italian fashion house has quit her role after 25 years at the helm of the designer label, which saw her co-design alongside Pierpaolo Piccioli, because she wants to continue her “artistic path” on her own.

Speaking to Vogue.co.uk about her departure, the creative mastermind said: “After 25 years of creative partnership and of professional satisfactions we gave ourselves the opportunity of continuing our artistic paths in an individual way with the reciprocal desire of further great achievements.”

However, Maria has revealed she will miss working with the brand – which was founded in 1960 by Valentino Garavani – and alongside the creative team, although she has enjoyed the experience of making a number of “successful creative achievements”.

She explained: “I thank Mr Valentino Garavani and Mr Giammetti for their support in these years and for everything that I have learned from them. I also thank Mr Sassi and all the people that work within the Valentino Maison for their support in these years. I have shared with Pierpaolo a great part of my professional life and it has been an experience made of many successful creative achievements together. I am ready to embark on a new professional challenge.”

And Valentino has credited the brand’s success to the partnership between Maria and Pierpaolo, which he hopes will continue under Pierpaolo’s sole leadership as the company’s creative director.

He said: “Everything achieved in these years would have been impossible without Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli’s talent, determination and vision that together have contributed into making Valentino one of the most successful fashion companies.

“A new and exciting phase for the brand begins under the creative leadership of Pierpaolo Piccioli. The brand is strongly determined to continue its affirmation and development process accomplished in the past years”.

Meanwhile, Valentino exhibited its last collection Maria collaborated on during the Autumn/Winter 2016 Haute Couture collection in Paris, France, on Wednesday (06.07.16).

Supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s diet is ‘brutal’

OHMYGOSSIP – Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has found her new diet, which sees her cut out sugar, dairy, gluten and alcohol, “brutal”, and unrealistic to maintain in the long run. The 29-year-old English supermodel has recruited a naturopath who has put her on a strict eating plan, which includes cutting out sugar, dairy, gluten and alcohol, and Rosie has admitted the healthy regime has been a “big challenge” for her and will be unrealistic to maintain because she is desperate to indulge with a slice of cake.

Speaking to InStyle Online about her new health kick, the ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ actress said: “I grew up on a farm so it has always been about meat and two veg. Now, I am building much more awareness of a healthy balance.

“Recently I decided to try a diet plan by a Doctor called Doctor Nigma Talib and she is actually a naturopath and she believes good skin and well-being starts in the gut. She said ‘If you want to be on my plan you have to cut out sugar, dairy, gluten and alcohol.’ And I’m not going to lie it’s been brutal, it’s been a really big challenge, it took a couple of weeks to get into it but I have been doing it for six weeks and I feel fantastic.

“It’s certainly not something that would be realistic to keep up all year round, but it’s made me much more mindful of my choices. I definitely will be re-introducing some cakes and some cheese and some wine here and there. But it’s kind of made me think about balance, and because I have been feeling so great lately I want to continue that streak.”

Meanwhile the Victoria’s Secret Angel – who has modelled for the lingerie brand since 2006 – has revealed exercise plays a big part in keeping her in shape and starts her day with meditation.

Rosie – who has her own underwear and beauty line with Marks & Spencer’s called Rosie For Autograph – explained: “I love exercise. I feel my best when I am working out.

“Lately I have been implementing a bit of meditation into my daily routine, which has been so incredible and I am really addicted to doing that in the morning before I start my day.”

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is currently the face of UGG Australia for their upcoming Classic II boot campaign.

Fearne Cotton wants to have ‘past-the-bum mermaid hair’

OHMYGOSSIP – Fearne Cotton wants to have “past-the-bum mermaid hair”, although she fears she may hack it all off if she reaches the target length. The 34-year-old television personality has admitted she is on a mission to grow her hair long so she can resemble a mythical sea maiden, although she fears she will cut her blonde locks immediately after if she succeeded in reaching her target length.

Speaking to Glamour magazine about her beauty wish, she said: “Now I’m gung-ho about growing it as long as I can – splash is my inspiration. Past-the-bum mermaid hair. Then I will probably chop it all off again.”

However, the mother of three – who has son Rex, three, and seven-month-old Honey with her husband Jesse Wood – has confessed she felt most comfortable at star studded events with a choppy bob.

She explained: “I loved having a bob it was really fun and easy and actually I felt much more comfortable doing red carpet events in a glam dress with a cool funky hair cut.”

Meanwhile the radio presenter – who is currently the face of Garnier’s Olia B Super Blondes hair dye – is contemplating changing the colour of her hair, although she currently uses the sweeping technique to highlight her tresses.

Speaking about her next tint, the former ‘Top of the Pops’ co-host said: “Not sure yet but it will be blonde but a new shade.

“Because I have balayage – it’s really low maintenance, which suits my lifestyle. I let it grow out and actually I quite like when it’s super rooty. I dye it every two to three months maybe even longer sometimes if I’m not working as much, I like when it grows out.

“I always let my hair air-dry at home otherwise it goes really flat and straight. I like It to be rough and messy … I always use my fingers to add extra texture and I swear by dry shampoo.”

Zandra Rhodes: Laugh all you want – I don’t notice

OHMYGOSSIP – Zandra Rhodes’ thick skin keeps shields her from people’s nasty comments. The British designer has been brightening up the fashion scene since the swinging ’60s with her flamboyant and quirky creations. Her own appearance is hard to ignore too, thanks to her bright pink hair and bold make-up, and she doesn’t care what others think of her aesthetic.

“Fashion is an industry, even though it just looks like icing on the cake. It gives life and spice to all of our lives”, she told westerndailypress.co.uk. “If people laughed at what I looked like I didn’t pay it any attention because I have thick skin. My mother was also a rock who always encouraged me. As a designer you have to accept that the world does not always agree with what you do.”

Her unique pieces haven’t gone unnoticed by famous names and she counts late stars Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Rivers and Britain’s Princess Diana as clients. Zandra is keen to design for royalty once more and has her eye on the younger generation of the family.

“Kate (Duchess of Cambridge) is a beautiful woman and what could be more wonderful than her in a classic Zandra Rhodes dress,” the fashionista said, adding a big Hollywood star to her list of dream customers. “Salma Hayek is a gorgeous star that I admire for her lead role in the Frida Kahlo film. She needs the drama that a Zandra Rhodes dress could give her.

“Having the opportunity to design garments for people like Princess Diana and Freddie Mercury was wonderful – when you suddenly see someone wearing something, and you think ‘Oh, well that’s another person that believed in it!'”

Zandra keeps trends and big occasions in mind when designing her collections, with one particular music event playing a big part in things.

“I think we’ve linked it (the latest line) very closely to the whole Coachella festival and the idea of a new young audience, or maybe the mothers of that young audience,” she added.

Noemie Lenoir: Balmain made me love my hair

OHMYGOSSIP – Noemie Lenoir was encouraged to embrace her curly hair when she starred in a Balmain campaign. The French supermodel reveals she used to hate her naturally curly hair, but working with creative director Olivier Rousteing and Balmain’s hair designer Nabil Harlow has made her feel comfortable in her dreamy textured style.

Featuring in Balmain’s Spring/ Summer 2016 campaign for its Hair Couture line, Noemie was photographed by An Le, alongside other stars such as Devon Windsor and Cindy Bruna. In the images, the models show off sleek and sexy hairstyles ranging from Farrah Fawcett feathering to Cher’s sleek and straight locks. Pumping up the glamour, the models pose in macrame tops and form-fitting jackets which feature in Balmain’s ready-to-wear line.

Speaking with Vogue.com, Noemie recalled how stylists back in the 2000s would take a brush to her curls, teasing them out into a textured Afro which was a dramatic shift from the slicked back ponytails of her childhood.

“I hated my hair!” she said, adding, “Balmain told me they believed in the curls… and it was fashion that made me like the curls, and to be who I am.”

The 36-year-old reveals she keeps her striking hair in check by getting her hairstylist to give her a carefully layered haircut and swears by using a daily, hydrating Kerastase mask.

Once a month, she likes to use an olive and argan oil mixture that she rakes through her mane and lets soak for the weekend, as a two-day softening treatment. Finally, she likes to spritz in some Balmain Silk Perfume spray each morning for added shine and a slightly woody scent.

“For my hair, less is better,” she shared. “Can you imagine if I put more volume in my hair?”

Noemie, who has walked the runways for the likes of Gucci and Jean Paul Gaultier, adds that she was happy to see the resurgence of the ’90s fashion model recently and felt no reason not join in.

“Everything comes back all the time,” she shared, “Naomi (Campbell) is back, and Claudia (Schiffer), and Cindy (Crawford), so I thought, ‘Why not maybe me?'” she smiled.

Yves Saint Laurent boss focused on evolution of brand

OHMYGOSSIP – Yves Saint Laurent chief executive Francesca Bellettini is focused on maintaining the brand’s momentum following the exit of designer and creative director Hedi Slimane.

Founded in 1961, the French label has been considered one of the world’s most prominent fashion houses and is known for its modern and iconic pieces, such as its tuxedo jackets for women. Saint Laurent also markets a broad range of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear products, leather goods, shoes, and jewellery.

Slimane, 47, who revived the French fashion house’s couture line last year (15) and imbued it with a successful mix of clarity and youthful spirit, departed the brand earlier month (Apr16), with it later confirmed that Anthony Vaccarello (picture), 33, would be his replacement.

Going forward, Bellettini insists the permanent collection will continue to evolve.

“So this is why, from now on, with the brand clearer than before thanks to all the cleaning that has been done, the job Anthony will have to do is a stronger evolution with creative content,” she told Business of Fashion. “What is very important is that every product speaks to the brand, to the DNA of the brand – it has to have that edge that is a combination of couture content and modernity.”

Bellettini added that Vaccarello will be free to express his own creativity and the language of the brand in his own way, as long as he respects the brand’s signature DNA.

Sales continue to grow and last Thursday (21Apr16) the brand once again reported double-digit revenue growth. In the first quarter of 2016, sales at YSL were up 26.5 per cent year on year on a constant exchange basis, hitting 269.3 million euros (£209 million) and making it the star performer in parent company Kering’s portfolio. Looking to the future, Bellettini is planning expansion but is cautious not to try and do too much too soon.

“Going forward, our strategy is not to have 50 or 100 stores in China, but clearly over the next few years we could go from 15 stores to about 25 stores,” she shared, adding there are plans to open a second flagship in Tokyo, Japan.

Saint Laurent currently has 143 stores, with boutiques ranging in location from Rome and Cannes to Dubai, Singapore and Beijing.

Katy Perry wants to push boundaries with Katy Kat CoverGirl Collection

OHMYGOSSIP – Katy Perry wanted to “push the envelope” with new CoverGirl collection, called Katy Kat, which will be available in May. The 31-year-old – who has been the face of the beauty brand since 2013 – is set to create her own cosmetic line, which will include 13 demi-matte lipsticks, and longwear mascaras in both waterproof and regular formulas, as well as CoverGirl’s debut electric blue mascara, which push “the envelope” of the company.

Speaking to Vogue magazine about her forthcoming make-up line, which follows a feline theme, the brunette beauty said: “I just need a lipstick to make my face come to life!

“I wanted to push the envelope with CoverGirl. You know, a black lipstick or a blue mascara is very Tumblr – I told them, this is what’s happening online, this is what everyone’s Instagramming.”

The ‘Roar’ hitmaker also took to Twitter to announced she was ready to “create” for CoverGirl rather than just represent.

She tweeted: “After several wonderful years of BEING the face, I now get to CREATE the face! (sic.)”

Katy has also teased her new products with selfies of her and her friends wearing the lipsticks at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, in Indio, California.

Katy picked a theme each day and unveiled different shades. She said: “We’ll pick a theme for each day – one day we’ll be romantic Lolitas, the next day we’ll be vampires – and I’ll match my lipstick to that theme.”

For day one of the music event – at which a reunited classic line-up of Guns N’ Roses played – Katy and her unnamed friend went for the Coral Cat lip gloss.

The upcoming collection will be available, exclusive to Walmart in the US, from May.

Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima is new face of Calzedonia + VIDEO!

OHMYGOSSIP – Adriana Lima is the new face of Calzedonia’s Summer 2016 beachwear collection. The 34- year-old beauty – who made her debut on the Victoria’s Secret runway in 2000 – has been announced as the ambassador for the Italian lingerie brand’s Summer 2016 beachwear collection.

Mother of two Adriana – who has Valentina, six, and Sienna, three, with her ex-husband and former professional basketball player Marko Jarić – has joined the likes of former Victoria’s Secret Angel Gisele Bündchen, Sara Sampario and Cameron Russell as the new face and body of Calzedonia.

Meanwhile, the brunette beauty – who has fronted campaigns for luxury fashion houses such as Balmain, Miu Miu and Prada – hopes to extend her modelling career for a further six years, although she fears her time in the nitty-gritty industry may be running out.

Speaking to Luxury London, she said: “I would like to continue for as long as possible. Not only at Victoria’s Secret, but as a model for as long as my body will hold up. Hopefully I can pull up another six years – I’m 34 now – because I want to show the world there is a different beauty in mature women, especially after they have had kids.”

However, the brunette beauty has admitted she still has insecurities and regularly has to tell herself she’s beautiful.

She said recently: “The best beauty advice I’ve received is to highlight the things you appreciate about yourself. You shouldn’t try to hide what you feel are imperfections with makeup; instead embrace them.

“Even though I am a model, I have days where I have to tell myself that I have to be the best version of myself mentally and it will show physically.”
