Sarah Jessica Parker will open SJP Collection store next week

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Jessica Parker is set to open her “first” SJP Collection store. The 51-year-old actress has revealed after “many trips” to Washington DC where she has been discussing her designs and construction visits she will be unveiling her debut shop on December 8, and the fashion designer has hinted she can’t “actually believe” it is all coming true.

Alongside a picture of the golden haired beauty – who founded her footwear line in 2014 – wearing a high visibility jacket and hard hat consulting her team about her plans, which was shared to her Instagram account, she wrote: “Today I reveal every detail of our long held secret!

After many trips on @amtrak to DC, on-site construction visits, meetings on design and curating a very special collection we are opening our first standalone @sjpcollection store inside the brand new @mgmnationalharbor.

The big launch is on December 8th and I’m counting down the hours, minutes and seconds until we officially open the doors. Because perhaps then I will actually believe it’s real. Follow @sjpcollection to learn more over the coming weeks and months. X, Sj (sic).”

Meanwhile, the ‘Sex and the City’ star has revealed her daughters, Marion and Tabitha – who she has with her husband Matthew Broderick – are already thinking about ways to take over her empire because they have “designs” thought out that they’re itching to put into practice to boost the company’s success.

Speaking previously, she said: “Apparently one of my daughters is plotting to take over mama’s company. She has designs.”

However, Sarah isn’t overly surprised as one of the twins is obsessed with fashion. She explained: “I think she really likes being bossy. No… I think she likes organising things and kind of putting things into action. If I walk on the stairs or they see me getting dressed, they have opinions about what I’m wearing. They don’t offer up design ideas yet, but I’m sure that’s all moments away.”

Adriana Lima: Before I walk out on the runway I start yawning

OHMYGOSSIP — Adriana Lima “cant’ stop yawning” before walking the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The 35-year-old model – who gained her angel wings in 2000 and is set to grace the catwalk in the lingerie giant’s fashion show on Wednesday (30.11.16) – has admitted she feels “very nervous” prior to hitting the runway and “every year” she has an outburst of yawns just before gracing the stage in her skimpy undergarments.

Speaking about her pre-show nerves in a video, which was shared on the brand’s Instagram account, the brunette beauty said: “Walking the show I get very nervous. It’s still the same. I thought maybe after the years I would like relax, no I get so nervous. There is one thing that happens before every year, like 10 to 15 minutes before I walk out on the runway, I start yawning. I’m not joking.”

And Adriana – who has daughters Valentina, seven, and Sienna, four, with her former partner Marko Jaric – has revealed she willed herself to stop yawning because it makes her eyes water and smears her make-up.

The Brazilian star added: “My eyes get watery, and I’m like ‘Oh no, the make-up. Stop yawning. I just can’t stop.”

Meanwhile, the catwalk icon has admitted she wants to model for another six years. Speaking previously to Luxury London, she said: “I would like to continue for as long as possible. Not only at Victoria’s Secret, but as a model for as long as my body will hold up. Hopefully I can pull up another six years because I want to show the world there is a different beauty in mature women, especially after they have had kids.”

However, the brunette beauty has admitted she still has insecurities and regularly has to tell herself she’s beautiful. She said: “Even though I am a model, I have days where I have to tell myself that I have to be the best version of myself mentally and it will show physically.”

Kylie Jenner could face legal action. Vlada Haggerty has accused Kylie Cosmetics of copying her ideas

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner could face legal action over her cosmetics line. The 19-year-old reality star has been accused of ripping off the photos Vlada Haggerty uses to promote her work on social media in her holiday advertising for Kylie Cosmetics and now the Los Angeles-based make-up artist and her photographer are reportedly planning to file a lawsuit due to the similarity between the images, TMZ reports.

Vlada shared a comparison between her pictures and Kylie’s ads on Instagram earlier this month and wrote: “Really @kyliecosmetics? Haven’t you gotten enough ‘inspiration’ from me already? Left is a the work @juliakuzmenko, @brittrafuson and I shot a few months ago and right is @kyliecosmetics new campaign. (sic)”

This isn’t the first time Vlada has accused the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star of copying her ideas, as she slammed her last year for stealing an image of lips dripping with gold.

At the time, she said she was excited to see her work being showcased by Kylie, but was upset she didn’t receive a credit or even get any contact from the reality star or her team.

She said: “Crediting artists is essential, but this goes beyond that. It’s theft; this is our livelihood… I see these things happen too many times to artists.”

Kylie recently admitted she always dreamed of having her own store at the Topanga Westfield Mall, ahead of her pop up shop opening there next month. Sharing a picture of the outside of her store, she wrote: “It was all just a dream coming soon to the Topanga Westfield Mall. I grew up at this mall .. Crazy 12.9.16 (sic).”

The beauty mogul – who had been working on Kylie Cosmetics for two years prior to launching her e-store earlier this year – has given a sneak peek as to what the interior will be.

Alongside a picture of her discussing her plans with her creative team, and her colleague holding a laptop with a design layout on the screen, she wrote: “MY VISION. I can’t wait for you guys to see what goes on inside my mind & what I’ve been working on. 100% Kylie. (sic).”

THEY are Cara Delevingne’s all-time beauty icons

OHMYGOSSIP — Cara Delevingne’s all-time beauty icon is Twiggy. The 24-year-old model – who began her modelling career at the age of 10 – has admitted she has got “so many” idols, but credits the sixties icon, Kate Moss and all of the “strong women” in her family as the people who most inspire her.

Speaking about the most influential people in her life during a Facebook Live for Rimmel on Wednesday (09.11.16), the catwalk icon said: “It’s Cara here. I’m just getting ready for the Rimmel launch party and I’ve heard you guys have a couple of questions for me. So, let’s get to it. I’ve got so many. All the strong women in my family, Twiggy — got to love those eyes — and Kate Moss.”

The star has revealed her mother Pandora is her favourite shopping partner because she buys a lot when she indulges in a little retail therapy. She said: “My mum’s really great at shopping, she buys everything.”

The blonde beauty – who has fronted campaigns for designer fashion houses including Burberry, Chanel and Victoria’s Secret – has revealed if she was to be born in any other era it would be the seventies. She said: “70s. Free love man, yeah.”

And Cara has revealed her signature style is “something classic”, although she does love to adorn “good lingerie”. Speaking about her wardrobe staples, she said: “I like a good leather jacket, good lingerie, PUMA trainers, something classic. Gold jewellery.”

Meanwhile the ‘Suicide Squad’ actress, who was announced as the new brand ambassador for the cosmetics company Rimmel London in April this year, has admitted she is “honoured” to be following in the footsteps of fashion icons such as Kate Moss and Georgia May Jagger who have previously starred in Rimmel’s campaigns.

Speaking about her latest beauty venture, she said: “It was such an honour. It still feels so weird to say it now. I really can’t believe it. It’s really fantastic. Yeah, pinch me, please?”

“It’s still so strange to think that’s actually happened. You know to be among an amazing roster of women and to join the greats and to be able to say ‘Get the London look.'”

Gemma Chan is ‘too scared’ to wear her grandmother’s cashmere jumper

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Chan is “too scared” to wear her grandmother’s cashmere jumper. The 33-year-old actress – who made her movie debut in 2010 when she was cast as Shin Shin in the World War Two production ‘Shanghai’ – has admitted her grandparents vintage garment is her most prized possession, although she is “worried” when she wears because she is scared she’ll lose the garment or get a stain on it.

Speaking about her most treasured wardrobe staple, the brunette beauty said: “I have a delicate cream cardigan from my granny from the sixties. It’s one of the few things she treated herself to – she passed it on to my mum and then my mum gave it to me. It’s so beautiful, but I’m too scared to wear it because I’m worried about losing it or staining it – guaranteed I’d be stuffing something into my mouth and would spill food down it.

And Gemma – who competed on the UK version of ‘Project Runway’ in 2006 and has starred in modelling campaign for Selfridges – has revealed she isn’t much of a hoarder and regularly has a clear out.

She explained: “I try to do a big wardrobe clear out every couple of months, although I often think, ‘I wouldn’t wear that as me, but I might in character.'”
Although the ‘Humans’ star – who plays Anita/Mia in the television show – has admitted she doesn’t keep hold of many of her clothes, she has kept a section in her wardrobe especially for “audition clothes”.

Speaking to Stylist magazine, she said: “I have a section of the wardrobe for audition clothes. For my first audition for ‘Humans’ I wore a green silk shirt and jeans – in the script they referenced a mint green uniform (which became a little different). Clothes are so instrumental in making you feel a certain way. If you’re wearing the wrongs shoes for your character it sets you off on, literally, the wrong foot. I’ve gone to auditions in a rush, and pulled on shoes and it’s felt completely wrong.”

Lisa Snowdon tries to be more ‘accepting’ of ageing

OHMYGOSSIP — Lisa Snowdon has tried to be more “accepting” of the ageing process. The 44-year-old model – who was scouted by Premier Model Management at the age of 19 – has admitted she is slowly coming to terms with how her body has changed as she has got older, and although she still feels “confident” in her body she believes the signs of ageing, which she has admitted she can’t and won’t prevent with cosmetic treatments, are a characteristic that make you “who you are”.

Speaking to Hello! magazine, the brunette beauty said: “I still feel confident about my body. Obviously I’m getting older and things change. Areas look a little different in the mirror but you just accept that.

“I’ve tried to be more accepting of it [ageing]. You can’t stop it. When you go to extreme measures, it can look quite scary. What’s important to me is skin quality rather than losing wrinkles. The wrinkles make you who you are. I’m not a Botox person but there are other things you can do.”

And instead of going under the knife, Lisa – who was a former host of ‘Britain’s Next Top Model’ in 2006 – prefers to have ultrasound treatment to “tighten” her skin.

Speaking about the secret to achieving a flawless complexion, she said: “One of my favourite facials is the 3D SkinLift by Ultraformer at EF Medispa, an ultrasound treatment to help tighten and lift the skin on the neck, around the eyes and the lower part of the face – the jowls. It gives you that boost without resorting to having needles stuck in you or going under the knife.”

Meanwhile, Lisa has admitted she has “never” fasted or undergone a juice detox to lose weight, although she does follow a healthy eating regime.

She said: “I’ve never fasted or done a juice diet. I like my food too much. But I try to limit my sugar and don’t have dairy anymore; and I cut down on bread. I might have sweet potatoes instead of normal ones and have plates of veggies on my veggie days. I try to avoid fried things and have brown rice and pasta. I just want to continue feeling peaceful and happy.”

Richard Nicoll has died aged 39

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Nicoll has died aged 39. The late fashion designer passed away in Sydney, Australia, in the early hours of Friday morning (21.10.16), and is believed to have died from a sudden heart attack, according to Vogue.co.uk.

It has been reported emergency services were called to his apartment in Australia’s Kings Cross district and rushed him off to St Vincent’s hospital where he allegedly died.

However, the police are reportedly not treating Richard’s sudden death as suspicious. The former Topshop creative mastermind – who founded his eponymous fashion label and made his designs made their debut appearance at London Fashion Week in February 2006 – recently decided to put his namesake brand on hold to return to Australia.

Richard boasted a successful career at the helm of the fashion industry ever since he completed his Ma at Central Saint Martins in womenswear in 2002, which saw him go on to work with fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Fred Perry and Cerruti.
Richard was also set to begin on a number of projects and was in the midst of taking over as creative director at Adidas in Germany in the new year.

But his talent as a designer has not gone unnoticed, as a number of celebrity clientele have paid tribute to the star. The 40-year-old singer and Spice Girl band member, Emma Bunton, took to social media to pay her respects to the late style muse.

She wrote: “Spice Girl Emma Bunton said: “Such sad news about Richard Nicoll, I met him way back when he was at central saint martins, a beautiful soul. Thinking of his loved ones. (sic).”

Whilst fellow musician Lily Allen has admitted she feels “privileged” to have known Richard. She wrote: “Really sad to hear about the passing of Richard Nicholl. Privileged to have known him and to have worn many of his beautiful creations. (sic).”

Kylie Jenner can’t live without her Dior sunglasses

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner can’t live without her Dior sunglasses. The 19-year-old ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star has revealed if she was ever to be “stranded” on a desert island and she could only take one accessory with her it would “definitely” be her Dior So Real sunglasses.

Speaking on her website thekyliejenner.com about her must-have item, the television personality said: “If I were stranded on a deserted island and could only wear one pair of sunglasses for the rest of my life, it would definitely be Dior’s ‘Dior So Real’ aviators. I wear them all the time.
“They’re so cool, plus they look good with everything! But they’re also pricey.”

Kylie – who is the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner gang – has revealed she is also a big fan of “earthy” coloured bags for the Autumn/Winter season.

She said: “New season = new bag! For fall, I’m really into backpacks and shoulder bags in earthy and neutral colours.”
And the beauty mogul – who has built up her beauty empire Kylie Cosmetics over two years, which launched online earlier this year – has revealed she finds it “really hard” to remove all of her make-up.

Speaking about the painstaking beauty process, she explained: “When I wear a lot of make-up, it can be really hard to take it all off, so I need something that will do the job, but not irritate my skin. My go-to cleansing towelettes are from Neutrogena! They have so many different kinds, there’s literally something for everybody: Night Calming, Deep Clean, Hydrating and Pink Grapefruit.”
And the teen entrepreneur has also revealed she is “so obsessed” with relaxing in a nice bubble bath filled with essential oils, which is made ever more comforting with a “comfy waterproof pillow”.

She explained: “I have been so obsessed with taking baths lately! They’re super relaxing and there are some really great products that totally enhance the experience, like essential oils or a comfy waterproof pillow. ”

Charlize Theron isn’t ‘crazy brave’ with her fashion choices

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlize Theron has never been “crazy brave with fashion”. The 41-year-old actress has admitted she likes to wear “classic” ensembles and isn’t very experimental with her outfit choices, although she has admired she’s not “fearful” of how her blonde locks are styled.

She said: “I don’t think I’m crazy brave with fashion – I like classic things. With hair for some reason I’m not so fearful. I have no attachment to my hair – I’m excited about changing it and I always think that if I hate it, it’s going to grow back.”

And the South Africa-born star has revealed she rarely does “glamorous things” with her beauty routine. The ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ star added: “Most of the time it’s the work I’m doing at that moment that is influencing it. I don’t do a ton of glamorous things, so usually my hair is all roots grown out and natural. In terms of products I’ve definitely noticed the difference between sulfate and non-sulfate formulas, so that’s my one thing I won’t change – my hair products have to have no sulfates in.”

However, Charlize’s late mother Gerda has always told her to not worry about her appearance. The blonde beauty said: “My mom always told me to just be happy. Be happy with your life and the way you want to live it. I think it was empowering for me to grow up with a mother who told me that, and still tells me that today.”

And Charlize – who has been the face of the designer brand Christian Dior for 12 years – believes she is a “terrible model”, although she has fronted a number of beauty campaigns for the brand including the recent J’Adore fragrance campaign.

She told Vogue.co.uk: “For me it was always important for Dior to know that I’m not a model. I’m a terrible model and they always kept saying to me: ‘We’re hiring you because you’re a great actress and we want to celebrate that’. So they’ve allowed me to express that a bit through these campaigns. In a weird way it gives you a little bit of ownership.
“They [Dior] first called to offer me the job in 2004, and every two or three years I think I’m done but then they call again and I’m like ‘Wow this is amazing!’ But I think they value the idea of family, and really building something with someone. To think of this as a long-term evolution of a woman.”

Kanye West debuts new collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West showed off his Yeezy Season 4 collection during New York Fashion Week on Wednesday (07.09.16). The ‘Only One’ rapper debuted his “timeless” pieces at the event on Roosevelt Island in New York City and was joined by his family including his wife Kim Kardashian West, her half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Kylie’s boyfriend Tyga.

The show was due to start at 3pm but didn’t properly kick off until an hour and half later and as guests arrived, they were met with the sight of hundreds of models stood in neutral outfits on the green space between the two runways.

Sofia Richie and Teyana Taylor were just two of the stars who walked the runway, with Sofia wearing the transparent boots Kim was spotted in earlier this week.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Vogue magazine ahead of the show, Kanye revealed he worked on making the pieces from this collection “timeless”. He said: “I want to make pieces that can be timeless. Pieces that you can pick up out of a vintage store in 20 years and say, ‘Wow, I’m happy I have this.'”

And the 39-year-old rapper admits he doesn’t really like to use the word “fashion” and instead prefers “apparel”.

He added: “Let’s say ‘apparel,’ especially for the style of clothes I make. I’m not saying that this is a fashion proposition, I’m saying that this is a human proposition.'”

Diane Kruger’s life lessons

OHMYGOSSIP — Diane Kruger learned a lot “about the world” when she started modelling. The 40-year-old beauty left her native Germany for Paris, France, to launch a catwalk career as a teenager and the ‘Inglourious Basterds’ star has nothing but fond memories of her days appearing in campaigns for the likes of Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent.

She recalled: “I got to travel the world. I was 15, but you’re expected to be an adult. You can’t kid around. So it was educational about the world, about your power over men, your self-worth. It was a great time.”

But despite her success, Diane wanted more from her career as she frequently found her work boring and needed a new challenge. She told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: “I got really bored with the posing as I didn’t find it creatively all that challenging. “I started meeting people in Paris who were actors and they were like, ‘Just go to drama school’. I didn’t even know you could do that.”

Prior to beginning her modelling career, Diane was a dancer and found being on stage an outlet for her emotions.

She said: “I didn’t know it then, but looking back I was a very angry kid. I had a lot of anger because things at home were tough. Unconsciously, dancing and performing was a way to get those emotions out. And then you’re rewarded for that by being on stage.”

But the ‘Infiltrator’ actress – who recently split from long-term boyfriend Joshua Jackson – had her dreams cut short when she broke her knee at the age of 13.
She admitted: “I was really lost for a long time.”

Kate Upton was urged to lose weight

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Upton was told to lose weight “all the time” when she began her modelling career. The 24-year-old beauty is proud of her curves and refused to give in to the unrealistic pressure to change her shape.

She said: “At first I tried to diet to become their image, but eventually I realised that it wasn’t realistic — that this is just the shape of my body. “So I had to block them out. I think that the people who are the loudest about wanting to change you are the people with the least amount of vision and creativity.”

And the ‘Other Woman’ star couldn’t understand the criticism of her figure because she was always working. She told America’s Glamour magazine: “Where I grew up, it was considered a great thing to have a curvy body to fill out a bathing suit. For that to be a negative was so confusing to me.

“And besides, when I started working, I was booked constantly, mostly for catalogue work. So when people were saying, ‘Oh, she doesn’t have the right look for a model’, I thought, ‘Then why am I working every single day?’ ”

The blonde beauty was inspired to become a model by her mother’s reassurance when she was singled out by her classmates over her distinctive features. She recalled: “Kids can be cruel, and they used to make fun of me for having long legs and bushy eyebrows. My mom would flip through magazines and say, ‘Look, all these models have that too.’ I decided I wanted to be a model.”
