OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Lawrence has hailed John Amos as a “true legend”.

“I remember him as Gordy The Weatherman at WJM when we was just starting as a TV weather guy in 1974 and seeing him as a role model.
“And when he quit ‘Good Times’, people respected him for his stand.”
Al was referring to how John, famed for playing stoic father James Evans Sr on ‘Good Times’, was fired from the show for objecting to stereotypes and letting his temper get the best of him.

She shared a selfie of the pair on her Instagram Stories and said: “I will miss you, John.”

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of sexually assaulting 25 minors – including a nine-year-old

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been accused of sexually assaulting 25 minors – including a nine-year-old.
The Bad Boy Records founder, 54, who is jailed in New York awaiting trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, was hit with a raft of new allegations at a shocking press conference held on Tuesday. (01.10.24.)
Texas-based lawyer Tony Buzbee said during a live-streamed event he is representing 120-plus individuals in civil lawsuits for allegations spanning the last three decades against the rapper.
He said: “I want to focus on the ages of these victims. When we talk about the ages of these victims when the conduct occurred, it’s shocking.”
Mr Buzbee claimed Combs’ youngest apparent victim was aged nine when they were allegedly sexually assaulted by the star – adding: “This individual who was nine years old at the time was taken to an audition in New York City with Bad Boy Records… other boys were there to audition as well.”
He added “all of the kids” at the audition were “seeking TV or music careers” and had been wowed with “promises of ‘I’ll make you a star’.”
Mr Buzbee went on: “This individual was sexually abused allegedly by Sean Combs and several other people at the studio with the promise to both his parents and himself of getting a record deal.”
The attorney shared a string of other nightmarish allegations against Combs, including an accusation a 15-year-old girl was flown to New York City to attend a party before she was drugged and taken to a private room allegedly in the presence of Combs before being repeatedly raped.
He added the group of accusers is “evenly divided by males and females”.
Mr Buzbee accused “enablers” of letting the abuse run rampant, and said his team had “collected pictures, video (and ) texts” to back up the claims against Combs.
He also said the long list of accusers go back to 1991.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges and insists he is innocent of claims made against him in a series of sexual assault lawsuits he is facing.
There is no date set for his trial but he has a status hearing on 9 October.

Dakota Fanning says she was asked ‘super-inappropriate’ questions as child star

OHMYGOSSIP — Dakota Fanning feels she was asked “super-inappropriate” questions as a child star.
The ‘I Am Sam’ star, 30, made her TV debut aged six in 2000 and has now told The Cut magazine she went through a disturbing phase when she was grilled about her life and fame as she grew up in the spotlight.
She hit out: “In interviews at a young age, I remember journalists asking me, ‘How are you avoiding becoming a tabloid girl?’
“People would ask super-inappropriate questions. I was in an interview as a child and somebody asked, ‘How could you possibly have any friends?’
“It’s like, ‘Huh?’”
Appearing to reference child stars in the past whose rough upbringings have shed light on how their lives were affected by fame, she added: “I have a lot of compassion for people who have been made into examples. If society and the media hadn’t played their part, who knows?”
But she added about society: “I don’t think that it’s necessarily connected 100 per cent to being in this business; there are other factors, too.
“I just didn’t fall into it, and I don’t know the exact reasons except that my family is comprised of very nice, kind, protective people.”
Dakota also credited her mother Hannah Joy Arrington with teaching her how to “treat other people” and how to “treat myself” – adding: “She was there every second.”
She went on: “I was always treated with respect. It was never, ‘Bring the kid in! Get her out!’
“I wasn’t working with people who treated me that way – I was being respected as an actor and as equal as you can be for that age.”
Dakota added about feeling surrounded by negativity as she rose to fame: “I’ve definitely felt this kind of vibe from people almost wanting me to fail or something.
“It makes you feel a little bit guarded. I’m just living my life over here.”

Joaquin Phoenix sparks rumours he has secretly married long-term love Rooney Mara

OHMYGOSSIP — Joaquin Phoenix has sparked rumours he has secretly married his long-term love Rooney Mara.
The ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ Oscar-winner, 49, has been publicly dating the actress, 39, since 2017 after they first met five years earlier on set of the movie ‘Her’ – and has now referred to her as his “wife”.
He made the remark while discussing his 2020 Oscars acceptance speech during a podcast appearance on ‘Talk Easy’ with Sam Fragoso.
Joaquin said he found the inspiration for the speech while he “was talking with my mom and my wife”.
The actor then moments later referred to Rooney by her first name as he retold how he came up with his speech – saying: “Rooney was like, ‘That’s what you should say!’”
Joaquin did not go on to confirm whether he and Rooney had married.
The actors got engaged in 2019 and are parents to son River, who they had in 2020 and who’s named after Joaquin’s late brother who died from a drug overdose in 1993 aged 23.
They are now expecting a second child.
The pair have spent years being fiercely private about their relationship and home life.
But Joaquin has opened up about how he thought Rooney wasn’t a fan of his when they first met.
He told Vanity Fair in 2019 about later learning she was only shy: “She’s the only girl I ever looked up on the Internet.
“We were just friends, e-mail friends. I’d never done that – never looked up a girl online.”
Joaquin and Rooney did also open up about their son in 2020 op-ed written for People about migrant children who had been separated from their parents at the US–Mexico border.
They said as “new parents” they found it “unbearable to imagine what it would feel like to have our child taken away from us for a day, let alone years”.
They have also shared some insights into their parenting journey, with Joaquin saying he hopes his son grows up to be vegan.

Cardi B didn’t know she was pregnant when getting her butt injections removed

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B didn’t know she was pregnant when she had her butt injections removed earlier this year.
The ‘WAP’ singer gave birth to her third child with estranged husband Offset last month but she has now admitted she underwent surgery to get rid of the effects of the “illegal” jabs she’d had in 2018 while carrying her baby.
The 31-year-old star explained she had taken multiple pregnancy tests and blood tests prior to the procedures, which came back negative, but after continuing to suspect she was having another baby, her doctor eventually confirmed she was actually 17 weeks along.
Talking about the procedure, she told her followers during an Instagram live earlier this week: “In January, right after I shot ‘Like What’, I went and got surgery.
“I got some more butt injections removed. Because, you know, it takes rounds to get your butt injections removed.
“I got some of my butt injections removed. And I also went to fix, like, you know, certain things (with) my fibrosis.”
Cardi previously revealed during an Instagram Live in 2022 that she had “95 per cent” of her silicone shots removed from her buttocks earlier that year.
The rapper is reportedly heading for divorce from Offset, but the pair reunited in the delivery room in September before Cardi revealed to fans she was a mother for the third time by posting snaps of her cradling her newborn alongside her older children, daughter Kulture, six, and son Wave, three.
The baby’s name has not yet been announced, and the birth came amid reports Cardi and Offset are not planning on saving their marriage – even though they put on a united from at Wave’s recent birthday party.
The couple reunited to celebrate their three-year-old boy at DreamWorks Water Park at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Cardi announced she was pregnant with her third child in August – a day after she filed for divorce from the Migos member.
She previously started divorce proceedings against him in September 2020, but backtracked on the move two months later.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs ‘only one of a list of many powerful people involved in Freak Off crimes’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is said to be only one of a list of “many powerful people” involved in the alleged sexual assaults claimed to have been committed at his ‘Freak Off’ parties.
The 54-year-old rapper is jailed in New York awaiting trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges and on Tuesday (01.10.24) was hit with a raft of new allegations at a shocking press conference, during which a lawyer said he was
representing 120-plus individuals in civil lawsuits against the rapper.
Texas-based lawyer Tony Buzbee vowed during the live-streamed event in front of reporters the “day will come” when he names the other alleged perpetrators and bystanders associated with Combs’ alleged illegal activities.
He said: “We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates.
“The day will come when we will name names other than Sean Combs, and there’s a lot of names.
“It’s a long list already, but because of the nature of this case, we are going to make damn sure – damn sure – that we’re right before we do that.
“The names will shock you.”
The attorney also stated he plans to start filing lawsuits in various states within the next 30 days – and promised to identify the other defendants at a later date.
He also said he will reveal the “bystanders” and willing participants who “encouraged” the alleged abuse and “egged it on” alongside Combs.
The lawyer urged: “These people who know who they are should just come forward now.
“I would imagine that as we speak here, there are a myriad of people who are very nervous.
“You can’t hide skeletons in the closet forever. I would expect there are many people out there right now who are desperately searching their memories as they delete their texts and data.”
Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges he is currently facing, and insists he is innocent of claims made against him in a series of sexual assault lawsuits he is facing.
One of his attorneys, Erica Wolff, told TMZ after the Tuesday press conference: “As Mr Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.
“That said, Mr Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.
“He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

Lauryn Hill slams Pras Michel’s ‘desperate and unfortunate’ lawsuit

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauryn Hill has blasted Pras Michel’s “desperate and unfortunate” lawsuit against her.
The 49-year-old singer is being sued for claims including fraud and breach of contract by her Fugees bandmate over their shortened 2023 tour and the cancellation of this year’s ‘Miseducation Anniversary’ concert series, but she’s hit back at the “disheartening” legal action in a statement in which she claimed she had “absorbed” most of the expenses for the gigs and she and Wyclef Jean had waived their advance because Pras needed the money more.
In his lawsuit, obtained by Variety, Pras accused Lauryn of having “grossly mismanaged the set-up, marketing and budgeting of” the 2023 tour, which he says “was actually a veiled and devious attempt to make a big score for herself.”
He also alleged a “breach of fiduciary duty and refusal to permit an audit” of the tour from Lauryn, and claimed she had controlled a budget that was “so bloated with unnecessary and, most likely fictitious, expenses, that it seemed designed to lose money” before “abruptly” cancelling the second half of the tour.
In addition, Pras claimed he missed out on another pay day when Lauryn failed to tell the rest of the group they had been offered $5 million to play Coachella, which he alleged she turned down as her “ego was bruised” because No Doubt would receive top billing.
In response to the “desperate and unfortunate” lawsuit, Lauryn’s lawyer, Howard King, claimed it was “packed with lies and intentionally disparaging remarks.”
He added: “It is particularly disappointing that the suit fails to reveal that Pras was grossly over advanced for the last tour to help him pay his mounting legal bills.
“His failure to show appreciation for the financial help Ms. Hill has afforded him in his time of need is disappointing. This action will be aggressively defended and defeated.”
Lauryn herself shared a lengthy statement and suggested Pras’ other “legal battles” had “affected his judgement”.
She said: “Some clarity and facts need to be presented. I’ve been silent and pushing through because I understood that Pras was under duress because of his legal battles and that this was perhaps affecting his judgment, state of mind and character.
“Fact #1: This baseless lawsuit by Pras is full of false claims and unwarranted attacks. It notably omits that he was advanced overpayment for the last tour and has failed to repay substantial loans extended by myself as an act of goodwill. Last year’s tour was put together to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the album ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’. It was being planned whether the Fugees were involved or not.
“Fact #2: The tour was expanded to incorporate the Fugees because I found out that Pras was in trouble and would need money to aid his legal defense.
“Fact #3: Pras was given a $3M advance for the tour, which he said he required to pay his legal fees. Wyclef and Myself deferred our full advances to make sure he had what he needed and was able to go. I covered most of the tour expenses, as the majority of the tour advance had gone to Pras. An agreement was put in place to secure the repayment of the money he was advanced. Pras has not paid back the money he was advanced, and is currently in breach of this agreement.
“Fact #4: Because my tour, band, production, and set up were already happening, the Fugees set utilized this same production. I absorbed most of the expenses myself, produced the show, put together the entire set (with Wyclef’s participation for the Fugees and Wyclef’s set). Pras basically just had to show up and perform.”
Lauryn alleged Pras had thanked her for “saving” him with the tour and insisted she still hopes “things work out” for her bandmate, despite his legal action.
She continued: “Fact #5: As of the last tour Pras thanked me for ‘saving his life’. (I have the receipts.)
“Fact #6: I am not in the business of kicking anyone, especially when they’re down, which is why I haven’t responded to date. It is absolutely disheartening to see Pras in this position, my band mate and someone I considered a friend but this leads us to Fact #7, which probably should have been Fact #1…
“Fact #7: I was not in Pras’ life when he decided to make the unfortunate decision that lead to his current legal troubles. I did not advise that he make that decision and therefore am in no way responsible for his decision and its consequences though I have taken it upon myself to help. Despite his attacks, I am still compassionate and hope things work out for him.”

Sir Elton John says he has ‘never felt happiness’ like he has now

OHMYGOSSIP — Elton John has “never felt happiness” like he has now.
The 77-year-old singer has reflected on his journey to success and how sobriety made him realise what was missing from his life, and it took his husband David Furnish – who he met in 1993 and married in 2014, on the ninth anniversary of their civil partnership – and their sons Zachary, 13, and 11-year-old Elijah to make him feel complete.
Making a surprise appearance at the New York Film Festival for the US premiere of ‘Elton John: Never Too Late’, People magazine reports he told the audience: “[I’ve] never felt happiness like I have now. I’m 77 years of age, I’ve done all there is to do…
“When I first became successful in those first five years, it was wonderful. It was all I wanted. I wanted people to love the songs, buy the records.
“In 1990, I got sober, and when that happened, I began to understand what was missing from my life: humility, gratitude, and faith. I had to build a foundation. Yes, music is wonderful. Fame is wonderful. But it didn’t satisfy me. Something was missing.
“So eventually, I found complete and utter happiness and bliss when I met David and when I had my children.”
The ‘Rocket Man’ hitmaker – who retired from touring last year – also gave thanks to music for always being there for him during the “good times and the bad times”.
He said: “There’s always been music through the good times and bad times. I’ve always relied on music to pull me through. Even when I was in my darkest times, I still played music, I still recorded music, so I have to say thank you to music for being the most incredible inspiration to me throughout my whole life.”
Elton’s documentary ‘Elton John: Never Too Late’ – which was co-directed by his husband David and filmmaker R.J. Cutler – reflects on the life and career of the music icon ahead of his final US concert and will be available to stream on Disney+ in December.

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler’s custody arrangement has ‘changed’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristin Cavallari’s custody arrangement has “changed”.
The 37-year-old reality star and her ex-husband Jay Cutler had previously had split care of Camden, 11, Jaxon, 10, and eight-year-old Saylor by looking after them on alternate weeks, but after splitting from Mark Estes, the jewellery designer admitted she is unsure she’s got time to go looking for love again at the moment because she doesn’t have as much time away from her children.
Speaking on her ‘Let’s Be Honest’ podcast, she said: “I have no interest in getting back into the dating world right now. I also don’t know how much time I have for dating.
“When I was dating last fall, I was still doing split custody with my ex and I had every other week off from my kids and that’s changed.”
While Kristin – whose marriage ended in 2020 – didn’t go into detail about how the custody arrangement has changed, she admitted she is “really content” with her life as it is.
She added: “So I’m really happy and really content having my life right now being about my kids and work.
“Happiness for me is peace and peace for me is making this home exactly how I want it. I’m a homebody — I really am.
“Being home and cooking and having friends over. Those things make me happy. Beyond that, I don’t really have a lot of time for anything else.”
Meanwhile, the former ‘Hills’ star suggested the age gap between her and 24-year-old Mark had led to the end of their relationship.
Reflecting on the recent end of their romance for the first time, she said: “It’s hard because I broke up with Mark because I just know long-term it’s not right, and it’s not because of love lost or something bad happened.
“He’s been the best boyfriend I’ve ever had. I just know long-term he needs to experience life, he’s young… I started to feel the age a little bit with life experience. I look back when I was 24 and how much life has happened between then, those are crucial years, those are formative years, they’re when you find yourself and he needs to be able to do that.”

Jameel Jamil’s ‘body is broken forever’ thanks to pressure put on women

OHMYGOSSIP — Jameela Jamil says her “body is broken forever” by society’s beauty standards.
The 38-year-old actress – who was named Glamour’s Game Changing Voice of the Year at this year’s ceremony in London on Tuesday (01.10.24) – bemoaned the return of “heroin chic” and insisted a decade after she was last honoured at the event, women are again “suffering and risking our lives” to meet other’s expectations.
Speaking at the event, she urged: “I beg of you, as I stand here with a body broken forever because of what I put it through for our society’s beauty standards… to not sell your old lady self short.”
‘The Good Place’ star insisted there had been optimism a decade ago, but things have once again become difficult for women.
She said: “Boys are encouraged to build their bodies, and build their futures and legacies.
“While women and girls are starving, injecting and hurting – and sometimes literally dying – for the fastest possible route to the ever-changing, fickle beauty standard.
“Why is women’s discomfort and harm still so hyper normalised?”
She encouraged other women and girls to fight against misogyny and make decisions for their own personal grown.
She continued: “The patriarchy seeks to distract, destroy and erase [women] by the time we get older because we become harder to control. Because we become too valuable.
“And we must not find out, otherwise we might start spending more of our energy on things that could even the playing field in this world.
“We might start getting proper sleep. We might eat enough nutrients. We might become too happy in ourselves and genuinely confident in who we are. Can you imagine what we could do?”
Earlier this year, Jameela opened up about how her battle with anorexia and body image issues “destroyed” her bones and damaged her organs.
Speaking on the ‘Let’s Talk off Camera with Kelly Ripa’ podcast, she said: “Yeah, I took so many laxatives, I’m amazed I even still have an a******, to be perfectly honest. It’s a real trooper. It’s a survivor.
“I took any pill or drink or diet that Oprah recommended. I did it. I took it. You know, any very low calorie supermodel diet.
“I f***** up my kidney, my liver, my digestive system, my heart, and most recently, I found out that I have destroyed my bone density.”

Raven-Symone reveals her father has died almost a year after her brother’s death

OHMYGOSSIP — Raven-Symone has revealed her father has died 11 months after her brother’s death.
The 38-year-old former Disney channel star’s younger sibling Blaize died aged 31 in November last year after a battle from colon cancer, and this week she confirmed her dad Christoper B. Pearman has also now passed away.
Alongside a throwback picture of her as a child with her father, she wrote on Instagram: “My life has been long and abundant. And the path I’m on started with a dream.
“Hope he is watching with a smile on his face… #christopherbpearman.”
She also shared a white dove emoji.
As well as working in public relationships and advertising, Christopher also did some producing, and even directed some episodes of his daughter’s show ‘That’s So Raven’.
He acted as her managed during her early acting career until she asked him to let her manage her own finances.
In 2010, he told NPR: “I’ve been managing that girl’s career since she was six months old.
“It’s just like you having a child and saying, you know, I’m ready to go to college and do my own thing and move out the house. You know, it’s like okay, go ahead.”
After her emotional post, many fans and fellow stars sent messages of support during a difficult time.
’21 Jump Street’ actress Holly Robinson Peete commented: “Raven sending love and healing hugs.”
‘Community’ star Yvette Nicole Brown added that she was “sending love”, while Brenda Song added: “I’m so sorry, Raven. My condolences. Sending you and your family so much love.”
And ‘Saturday Night Live’ star Kenan Thompson said: “Condolences to you and your family!!! Sending love!!!!”
In December last year, Raven revealed her brother had died aged 31 after a two-year cancer battle.
She said in a video at the time: “Last month, I lost my brother. He is in a better place now. He’s loved and missed.
“The emotions that have been coming, waving in an out of my body and mind. My family has been a little bit closer.”

Rosie O’Donnell realised she didn’t want megastardom thanks to Madonna friendship

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie O’Donnell’s friendship with Madonna made her realise she didn’t want to be hugely famous.
The 62-year-old actress admitted being cast in 1992’s ‘A League of Their Own’ alongside the ‘Vogue’ hitmaker was “life-altering” for her because it made her reconsider what she wanted from her career as she got to see up close how “toxic” being a celebrity could be.
She explained to David Duchovny on his ‘Fail Better’ podcast: “To be cast in a movie opposite the most famous woman in the world as the best friend — right, me and Madonna? That was like a life-altering casting session for me because it changed my whole world.
“That kind of fame is once a generation, you know? That kind of Elvis, the Beatles, Madonna. And to be that close to it for so long and be able to get an opinion of what it does to the human being through being that close to, you know, Madonna.
“I thought that I wanted [that kind of fame]. But I thought, ‘Look at how much it takes away from her.’
“We were in an elevator, and people would say to her face, ‘I like you better with blonde hair,’ because in ‘League’ she had dyed her hair brown. And she’d be like, ‘Yeah, f*** you.’ You know?
“I realised how many people felt that they had the right to say whatever they wanted to her, that she had lost her humanity in the eyes of the public from being too famous.
“And it was like a cautionary tale in a way. Not that I ever thought I would achieve that level of fame, but that any level of fame could be as toxic and demanding.”
Elsewhere on the podcast, Rosie admitted she didn’t realise she had to write her own jokes when she performed stand-up comedy for the first time.
The ‘Exit to Eden’ star was just 16 when The East Side Comedy Club owner Richie Minervini asked her to do to a set at the Long Island club after seeing her get laughs during a high school performance.
But having no act of her own, Rosie decided to mimic the then-relatively unknown Jerry Seinfeld after seeing him on ‘The Merv Griffin Show’.
She admitted: “I would do his act, but not only his act, I took his cadence and his delivery.”
And other comedians at the club quickly picked up on what she’d done.
She recalled: “They surround me in the back little green room and say, ‘Rosie, where’d you get that joke? I said, ‘Jerry Seinfeld.’ ”
When she was told she needed to write her own jokes, she defended herself by saying:“Barbra Streisand does not write her own songs. She sings other people’s songs. I’m not a writer, I’m a comedian.”

Morgan Wallen donates 500k to hurricane relief

OHMYGOSSIP — Morgan Wallen has donated $500,000 to the Hurricane Helene relief effort.
The ‘Last Night’ singer – who grew up in Tennessee – has handed over the money to the Red Cross via his Morgan Wallen Foundation to help those who were affected by the devastation caused by the huge storm.
Red Cross’ National President for Humanitarian Services, Trevor Riggin, said in a statement:
“We can’t thank Morgan Wallen enough for his heart and generous $500,000 donation to impact help on the ground now in the areas affected by Hurricane Helene, including his beloved East Tennessee.”
The 31-year-old country star had previously offered his prayers to those affected by the extreme weather.
He wrote on his Instagram Story at the weekend: “My family in East Tennessee are safe but I know many are absolutely devastated there and in multiple states. All my prayers are geared towards those tonight.
“Those hills and hollers are very important to me in so many ways. It is going to take a monumental effort and I am in contact with my team and others working on ways I can help.”
Morgan already contributes $3 to his foundation for every concert ticket he sells, and prior to his Red Cross donation, he has already given more than $500,000 to other causes, including music and sports organisations, in his home state.
The hurricane hit on 27 September and has claimed the lives of more than 100 people in six states, with areas of North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and Virginia inaccessible due to washed out roads.

OHMYGOSSIP — Pauley Perrette has no plans to ever return to acting.
The former ‘NCIS’ actress – who spent 15 years on the police drama – hasn’t appeared on screen since her 2020 role in sitcom ‘Broke’, and she insisted her retirement is inspired by a desire to be herself “all the time”.
She told Britain’s Hello! magazine: “I’m not ungrateful for the benefits that it gave to me.
“But I’m a different person now, and I want to be here for it – the good and the bad and the painful.
“I want to be me all the time, and it takes a good amount of courage for me to say that to myself but it’s authentically how I feel.”
The 55-year-old star has a “deep need to find authenticity” in all areas of life, and having the “escape” of being an actor feels counterproductive.
She explained: “At this point in my life I have this deep need to find authenticity in everything, and being an actor, especially at certain points in my life, was a great escape; it’s like a drug because I didn’t have to be me, I could be somebody else.
“My character didn’t have all of the problems that I was having.”
Pauley doesn’t even enjoy watching fictional shows or films, because she’d rather be consuming “the truth”.
She added: “It’s why I only watch documentaries, I want the truth.
“For me, going back to being an actor would be taking away from this life of true authenticity that I’m living 100 percent of the time.”
A couple of years ago, Pauley opened up on a “massive stroke” she suffered in 2021, which saw her lose all feeling on the “entire right side” of her body.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I woke up and had no feeling on the entire right side of my body.
“At first I thought I had just slept funny. When I kept realising the extent of the numbness; couldn’t feel my finger touching my face, couldn’t feel my face being touched by my finger, couldn’t feel my laptop sitting on my lap, no feeling at all on the right hand side – I could have burned myself or cut my finger off and wouldn’t have known – I called my doctor and he said, ‘GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM IMMEDIATELY.’ ”

Lady Gaga considering very low-key wedding

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga may get married with no wedding guests.
The ‘Die With a Smile’ singer got engaged to Michael Polansky in April after more than four years of dating and while she insisted nothing has been planned yet, she admitted they are exploring the possibility of just the two of them visiting a local courthouse for the legal ceremony, before celebrating with a take-out.
Asked on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ if she’s planning a big Italian wedding, she said: “I don’t know what we’re going to do. We’re not exactly sure yet.
“We actually talk a lot about just going to a courthouse just the two of us and [then] ordering Chinese food. But also, knowing me, it could become like a circus with unicorns.”
The ‘Joker: Folie a Deux’ actress also admitted Michael, 46, asked her permission before he proposed to her following a rock climbing excursion.
She said: “We went on a trip together and we went rock climbing. We’d been rock climbing before, which was super fun.
“He didn’t propose to me at the top. We climbed up to the top, and we looked around, and we took some photos.
“We went back down and we were just walking back to the room. It was very Michael to ask me if he could ask me. He wanted to know if it was OK to propose before he proposed. I was like, ‘Yes! It’s so OK!’”
Jimmy then asked if Michael had got down on one knee to pop the question.
The 38-year-old star replied: “He didn’t. I’m a modern lady, I like what he did.”
Gaga recently admitted she thought her businessman beau was joking when he proposed, because he chose to pop the question on April Fool’s Day.
Speaking on ‘The Graham Norton Show’, she explained: “He proposed on April 1st, and I thought he was joking. Then when we went to the Olympics, we were filmed saying hello to the Prime Minister [Gabriel Attal] and I was caught on camera saying, ‘This is my fiancé’. I had wanted to keep it a secret!”
