Pamela Anderson had ‘depression for a couple of decades’

OHMYGOSSIP — Pamela Anderson believes she suffered from depression for “a couple of decades”.
The actress opened up about her life and career during an appearance at the Zurich Film Festival in Switzerland where she was honoued with the event’s Golden Eye Award – and she’s revealed she barely remembers much of her life in the spotlight after shooting to fame on hit TV show ‘Baywatch’.
According to Variety, she said: “I look at it now and it feels like I went from ‘Baywatch’ to Broadway. I don’t know what happened in between, it’s all a big blur.
“I am just happy to be here, in this moment, because I think I have had depression for a couple of decades.”
Pamela made her Broadway debut in 2022 playing Roxie Hart in ‘Chicago’ for eight weeks and she has gone on to land a number of film roles including ‘The Last Showgirl’, ‘Rosebush Pruning’, and a role in the new ‘Naked Gun’ movie which is due for release next year.
The star explained she’s thrilled to be busy with work again and she believes her 2023 Netflix documentary ‘Pamela, a Love Story’ helped revive her career after ‘The Last Showgirl’ director Gia Coppola watched it.
She added: “That’s how Gia saw me. I always knew I was capable of more. It’s great to be a part of pop culture, but it’s a blessing and a curse. People fall in love with you because of a bathing suit. It has taken a long time, but I am here.”
Pamela previously told Collider: “I think timing is everything. I thought I was never gonna get the chance to do anything like this.
“I kind of thought, ‘Oh, well, that’s what people think of me. I’m just gonna go back to my farm, make jam, and that’s it. I’ll figure out another way to make my life beautiful.’
“But the documentary came out, the book came out, and Gia saw the documentary. She must be some kind of master or prophet or something, but she was so wonderful to send the script to me, and I read it and I was like, ‘Oh God, this is that thing. This is that thing when people read a script and they really realise they’re the only ones that can do it. They have to do it. It’s life and death.’
“And I felt that way, and I get chills even thinking about it.”

Keith Urban wants model daughter to have ‘balance’

OHMYGOSSIP — Keith Urban wants to help his teenage daughter “keep balance” after she made her modelling debut.
The 56-year-old singer’s eldest daughter, 16-year-old Sunday Rose, walked for Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week earlier this month and while the ‘Somebody Like You’ hitmaker – who also has 13-year-old Faith with wife Nicole Kidman – is “very proud” of her, he admitted he is protective of her navigating life in the public eye.
He told People magazine: “Hopefully we can just help her keep balance with everything through all of that.
“Hopefully she’ll benefit by having two parents that know about a certain amount of celebrity.”
Keith noted it can be a “different challenge” for parents when their children are known from a young age, but he believes “balance” is essential.
He added: “It’s all a challenge. I mean, raising kids is a challenge, period. It’s about trying to keep a balance.
“It’s all a process, but I think balance is key. Keeping her firmly with schoolwork and structure and everything balanced in its place is key.”
As well as being a watchful father, Keith is also a supportive husband and admitted last month he’d watched his wife’s latest project, six-part Netflix series ‘The Perfect Couple’ in one sitting.
He told People magazine: “I saw the whole thing before it came out – binged it.
“It’s been amazing. I’ve had so many people stop me and say how much they love it.”
But the ‘Blue Ain’t Your Color’ singer didn’t want to give any plot details or spoilers away about the murder mystery, which also stars Liev Schreiber and Dakota Fanning.
He added: “I’m the best secret keeper you’ll ever meet. I’ll go to my grave with secrets.”

Joe Lock wants Donald Trump ‘hate tweets’

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Locke wants to get “hate-tweeted” by Donald Trump.
The 21-year-old actor is best known for playing Charlie Spring in ‘Heartstopper’ and he admitted he is surprised the Netflix drama – which is centred on the romance between his character and Kit Connor’s Nick Nelson – hasn’t attracted more vocal criticism from certain areas.
He told The Guardian’s Saturday magazine: “This world is a very scary place sometimes, and it feels a bit weird that ‘Heartstopper’ has almost been immune to that – a lot of queer shows get a lot of hate from rightwing groups, and ‘Heartstopper’ doesn’t, and I don’t really understand why.
“You’ll often hear Trump supporters talking about queer people and queer shows.
“I want to get hate-tweeted by Donald Trump!”
Joe came out as gay to his mum when he was 12 years old and his friends not long afterwards, but he doesn’t feel actors need to share their characters’ sexuality.
He said: “I wouldn’t want to not be able to play a straight character, so I don’t think it’s fair to stop someone straight – who can do all the research – from playing a gay character.
“As long as you’re playing a part authentically and with the best intentions – you’re not just playing a stereotype – then go for it.”
And while he thinks “representation is really important”, the ‘Agatha All Along’ actor is keen to take on a wide range of roles.
He said: “I get a lot of auditions for more gay teenage characters, very similar parts, and, while they’re great, I’ve played two gay characters now.
“Not that I would not want to play another gay character, but I want to be a versatile actor, not get stamped.”
Joe feels “very lucky” he wasn’t bullied at school because of his sexuality.
He said: “I wasn’t bullied, but I was also in a very lucky position. There are a lot more issues in schools than people might think, to do with that.
“Teenagers can be horrible people. Really mean. I don’t know if that will ever change.
“But the things they’re being mean about might have changed.
“Definitely, people still do get bullied for their sexuality; but you might not be bullied for that, and still get bullied for wearing the wrong shoes.
“I was very lucky that I didn’t, but then I was also very quick with my tongue at school.”

Eric Idle ‘shouldn’t be alive’ after battling pancreatic cancer

OHMYGOSSIP — Eric Idle “shouldn’t be alive”.
The 81-year-old comedian underwent surgery after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2019, and was thankful the disease was caught early as he now enjoys “every moment” of his life.
Asked if having cancer had changed him, he told The Times newspaper: “Oh, I shouldn’t be alive. I’m a lucky b****** and I enjoy every moment.”
The Monty Python star initially thought his doctor was joking when he broke the news of his diagnosis.
He said: “I had been working on a project called ‘Death: The Musical’ and I asked my doctor which type of cancer I could use to finish off one of my characters. He said, ‘Pancreatic cancer, it can finish people off in three weeks.’”
Ten years later, Eric had routine tests with the same doctor and queried an ominous-looking blood result.
The comic added: “He said, ‘Pancreatic cancer’ and I burst out laughing because I thought he must be joking.”
Eric’s close friend George Harrison died of cancer in 2001 and he was by the Beatles legend’s side to witness his “beautiful” passing.
He said: “I was with George when he died and it was beautiful. He wasn’t frightened or angry, he was very calm about the process. It was a lovely death to go through and we should talk about these things more because it’s there for all of us.”
The comic – who has Carey, 51, with first wife Lyn Ashley and Lily, 33, with spouse Tania Kosevich – always valued the advice he received from the musician.
He said: “George was a beautiful human being and taught me so much about handling one’s ego.
“I was moaning about the others one evening in Tunisia and George said to me, ‘What do you think it’s like for me trying to get a look-in with Lennon and McCartney?’
“George Harrison was a man of immense grace and he taught me how to get through many challenges — life, death, divorce …
“When I was going through mine, George cheered me by telling me I was going to die. He said, ‘You can have all the money and fame in the world but you’re still going to die.’
“That’s the great leveller. That quells the ego. ”

Al Pacino splits with girlfriend Noor Alfallah

OHMYGOSSIP — Al Pacino has split with his girlfriend Noor Alfallah.
The 84-year-old ‘Carlito’s Way’ actor first met the film producer, 30, in 2010 and their relationship deepened during lockdown – with the pair having son Roman in June 2023.
Al has now told People about how he is unattached when asked about their relationship: “No. I have friendship.”
A representative for the ‘Godfather’ actor clarified to the outlet about how the pair are now platonic: “Al and Noor are very good friends, have been for years, and are co-parents to their son Roman.”
Al’s exes include actresses Diane Keaton, Beverly D’Angelo and Kathleen Quinlan.
As well as Roman, father-of-four Al is a dad to daughter Julie, 34, with acting coach Jan Tarrant, and has 23-year-old twins Anton and Olivia with Beverly.
Al refers to marriage in his new memoir ‘Sonny Boy’ as “an entrance to the pain train”.
He added to People about his view: “Everything’s a ticket to the pain train. A ticket or nothing: ‘Are you going to go or not?’ ‘No, I’ll stay here. I’ll stay here at the station, I’m not getting on’.
“(Marriage) can suit you, by all means. (But) I just didn’t feel it ever suited me for some reason.
“I loved living together (with women), and then… it depends on who you are getting along with.
“If you live together with someone, there’s got to be… you have to have this communion.
“If you don’t, it’s almost an invasion. So I like to know that if I find a human that I can connect with.”
Al added about how he enjoys a massive range of friendships: “I have friends all over the place. I must say I’m very lucky with that.”
Noor recently told Vogue Arabia about first meeting Al in 2010: “I thought, ‘Wow, that’s Al Pacino’.
“I went to film school, so I wasn’t dumb about who he was. He’s a very talented and unique person.
“But I had no intention of thinking like, ‘Oh, he is going to be my son’s father one day’.”
She added about the life they shared in lockdown: “Al lives down the street from my house and we started spending every day together, playing chess and watching movies.
“It was like film school with Al Pacino. I guess it just became something more.”

Princess Eugenie’s sons don’t suffer her childhood terror of sea

OHMYGOSSIP — Princess Eugenie’s sons don’t suffer her childhood terror of the ocean.
The royal mother-of-two has sons August, three, and 16-month-old Ernest with her marketing executive husband Jack Brooksbank, 38, and has now opened up about their life together – and how they are far less fearful than she was of water when she was growing up.
She told Hello! during a visit to the ‘Blue: Art for the Ocean’ exhibition at Christie’s in London: “They love swimming. The sea in Portugal’s a little bit rougher.
“So we’ve got our feet in, but Augie is a fish. Literally, he loves it and we have whales and dolphins all across the walls.
“We’re big ocean people.”
Eugenie, Jack and their boys divide their time between Britain and Portugal for his job, and the royal added August likes to read ‘The World’s Wildest Waters’ picture book about the ocean when he has breakfast.
She said: “I see it every morning when Augie’s eating breakfast, and he’s like, ‘Mama’, and then we go through it.
“The children have to find the creatures in the pictures in the book and the next page is all the facts about the cuttlefish, or the great white shark or the seal – and Augie loves it.”
Eugenie was on the committee which secured artwork being auctioned this week at Christie’s for the Blue Marine Foundation, for which she is an ambassador.
But she admitted on World Oceans Day in June she was scared of the sea as a child.
She said in a video posted on Instagram: “I was always quite scared of the ocean when I was younger.
“I dropped a jelly shoe in there and never came back, obviously. It’s something so wonderful and unknown that we really should be making sure that everything within it is looked after for generations to come.”

It has also been hit with the lowest CinemaScore in comic book movie history – a D.

“She’s going to lobby hard to get a meeting with him once a script is presented, it is a bucket list moment for her to be involved.”

Jana Kramer took down video of daughter playing from web over ‘sexualisation’ fears

OHMYGOSSIP — Jana Kramer took down a video of her daughter playing from the web after realising how “sexualised” children are on the Internet.
The distressed country singer, 40, had uploaded a video of her eight-year-old girl Jolie – who she has with her 37-year-old former NFL player ex Mike Caussin – dancing around at their home after coming downstairs in a sports bra.
Jana said in a long post uploaded to her Instagram about why she took down the initial clip and replaced it with another of the child: “Jolie asked to see (the) original this morning and I told her I took it down after some convos.
“She was sad, I explained why, and I said we can redo… and she said yay!
“I’m being honest, I didn’t even see the issue at first with the original… I forget how sick this world is and how sexualised kids are.
“Jolie came down the stairs that morning in her sports bra and said, ‘Alright momma I’m ready to work out.’”
Jana added even though she would not usually let her daughter hang around a public area in a sports bra, the video was filmed at home and she did not think about how it would be viewed if she uploaded it publicly.
She went on: “I looked at the comments and at first again if I’m honest I thought, ‘She’s wearing more than a bathing suit?!?’
“But after some convos and a few chats with followers over dm I made (the) decision to take down.”
Referring to Internet creeps, the mum added: “Again I had no clue just how far these sickos go. Sad honestly that’s where the world is at.”
Along with Jolie, the mum-of-three singer has son Jace, five, with ex Mike, and also has son Roman, 10 months, with her husband Allan Russell.

Joshua Jackson in ‘love’ with spooky fan theory about new show

OHMYGOSSIP — Joshua Jackson is in “love” with a spooky fan theory about his new ‘Doctor Odyssey’ TV series.
The ‘Dawson’s Creek’ actor, 46, plays Dr Max Bankman on the show – a medic on board a luxury cruise ship – where the staff “works hard and plays harder” according to a blurb for the programme.
Fans have filled the web with a theory the doctor never recovered from a bout of Covid he suffered in the pilot, and he is really stuck in limbo between the worlds of the living and dead – with many believing the ship on which he’s travelling is heaven, which they think is where he is ultimately headed.
Joshua told TVLine: “I love this theory. I cannot tell you what goes on inside the mind of (series co-creator) Ryan Murphy, but we also had a similar theory operating on set. Only Ryan Murphy knows.
“I have appreciated the Internet sleuths’ work on it and I think it’s great.”
The show also stars Don Johnson, Phillipa Soo, and Sean Teale, and Joshua has said it is meant purely as escapism.
He has said about the series: “Our mission statement is to be enjoying ourselves at all times so that the audience can have an hour in the week where they can just sit back and enjoy.
“It’s supposed to be a one-hour vacation every week.
“You come aboard this boat as the medical cases happen, but also life happens, and by the end of the hour, hopefully you laughed, maybe even cried, and you go back into your week feeling just a little bit more relaxed for having gone on a nice cruise with us.”
He added to The Wrap about how his character focuses on joy after getting Covid: “Speaking of that specific character beat, it’s both a specific reason why he’s doing the thing that he’s doing.
“But I think it’s also, in Ryan’s eyes, a metaphor for where we’ve all have been. “Nobody got out untouched by Covid, and whether you were in a pod with other people, whether you were isolated, whether you got it early, whether you got it late or God forbid you lost somebody – we all have gone through this radical and, just to use therapy speak, traumatic event collectively together. I don’t know anybody who didn’t, at some point during that, reassess their life.”

Bobby Brown sends ‘love and blessings’ to grieving family of Whitney Houston’s late mother

OHMYGOSSIP — Bobby Brown has sent his “love and blessings” to the grieving family of Whitney Houston’s late mother.
The singer, 55, had a famously rough relationship with his ex-wife Whitney’s mum Cissy – who died on Monday (07.10.24) aged 91 after getting hospice care amid her Alzheimer’s battle.
Bobby, who was accused of verbally and physically abusing Whitney during their stormy 14-year marriage, released a joint statement with his wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown about Cissy’s death, saying: “Sending love and blessings to the Houston family on this great loss.
“May she rest in Peace and Power. The Browns.”
Bobby and Whitney first met in 1989 before they married in July 1992, and the couple had daughter Bobbi Kristina.
She died from lobar pneumonia aged 22 in 2015 after she was found unconscious in a bathtub in her home after ingesting numerous drugs and alcohol – similar to the fate of her mother, who accidentally drowned in a hotel bathtub aged 48 in 2012 after years of drug abuse.
Bobbi was in a coma for nearly six months before she passed away.
Her father Bobby was arrested for charges related to drunk driving and possession during his marriage to Whitney – while the singer sought treatment in rehab several times while they were together, before they divorced in 2007.
A toxicology report on Whitney found both prescription medications and cocaine in her system.
Cissy remained fiercely protective of Whitney through her marital and drugs strife and repeatedly tried to save her from drug addiction.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sex trafficking case ‘set to involve series of other celebrities’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sex trafficking case is set to involve a series of celebrities who face being sued alongside the rapper.
The rapper, 54, is in jail in New York awaiting trial, and attorney Tony Buzbee – who is representing more than 120 fresh alleged victims of the performer – has said he is getting ready to issue a raft of new lawsuits against high-profile names.
He added during a chat with TMZ Live about the upcoming cases: “I think I’ll let the lawsuits speak for themselves. Everyone’s focused on what other celebrities were involved, who’s going to be named, who’s going to be outed – I don’t expect that to happen this week. I’m hoping to file some lawsuits this week.”
Mr Buzbee announced at a press conference on 1 October his Buzbee Law Firm and the AVA Law Group were representing a group of over 120 victims – made up of men and women – who say they were sexually assaulted by Combs and subjected to sex trafficking by the rapper in offences allegedly dating back to the early 1990s.
Both firms said they had been contacted by over 3,000 individuals, nut no lawsuits have yet been filed.
Mr Buzbee added in an update on the cases: “Of course, we’ll include Mr Combs and some corporate entities, but we want to make sure if we name individuals beyond Mr Combs that we make sure that we’ve done our homework because it’s gonna create a firestorm and we understand that.
“We’re gonna make sure we dot our Is and cross our Ts.”
He warned about celebrities who attended Combs’ now-infamous ‘Freak Off’ gatherings: “I want t o be clear about something: if you were attending one of these ‘parties’ – if you will, and you attended beforeor you knew what was going to happen – that is, you know that a particular drug was being used in drinks and was causing people to be coerced and taken advantage of and you were there in the room, or you participated, or you watched it happen and didn’t say anything, or you helped cover it up, in my view, you have a problem.
“As we file each one of these cases, we’re going to make an effort to resolve them on the front end, but failing that, we’re gonna file public lawsuits and pursue these cases aggressively.
“A lot of people attended these parties. A lot of people saw this activity going on, a lot of people allowed it to go on, said nothing, didn’t intervene, maybe benefited from it, profited from it. All of these individuals and entities in my view have exposure here.
“In every single case, especially cases like this, we collect our data, collect our evidence, do our due diligence, spend time with the victim, and then, because it’s in the best interest of the victim, we attempt to resolve these matters without the filing of a public lawsuit.
“And we have done that already, I would say, with a handful of individuals, many of which you’ve heard of before, and (we) will continue to do that.
“That’s just the standard process that every lawyer in the United States who handles these types of cases uses because it’s the right way to do it.”
Combs was arrested in September on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution.
A 14-page federal indictment claimed the rapper had “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him” for decades.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is remanded in the Metropolitan Detention Center, Brooklyn, New York, until his trial.

Lewis Hamilton’s dog transformed after racer put him on vegan diet

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Hamilton’s dog has been transformed by being put on a vegan diet.
The Formula 1 champion, 39, has spent more than a decade devoted to looking after his 12-year-old bulldog Roscoe, but has now revealed he has stepped his pampering up a gear by feeding the pooch ultra-controlled meals for the good of his pet’s health.
Lewis told People about the change he has seen since removing meat from his dog’s diet: “Roscoe is almost like a different dog to when I first got him.
“I’m always looking for ways to look after his health and really just improve his quality of life, and his diet is just one part of that – but he has so much more energy and doesn’t struggle as much with the health issues he had before.”
Lewis is such a fan of the idea of dogs going vegan he has become an investor in the plant-based dog food Bramble.
The dog fanatic went on: “I’ve had Roscoe with me for a long time, and the first eight years, he was on a normal diet for dogs that included meat.
“He always had health issues and would struggle with things like his breathing and his walking.
“I wanted to see if there was anything I could do to help him, so I did some research into things that might improve his health.
“I saw that having a plant-based diet was something that could be helpful as long as you were making sure the dog was getting all its nutritional needs met, so I decided to try it.
“Even his coat is softer, which is amazing because he loves to be petted.”
Lewis added about how eating plant-based has also done wonders for his physique and health: “I was thinking about my health and fitness and what changes I could make to feel my best, and the more I started looking into plant-based diets, the more I realised this was something that could be impactful.
“It just felt like ethically, scientifically, and even based on the types of foods I love to eat, this was something that made sense for me.
“I think there was some misunderstanding at the time around how it would work and if I would be able to get enough protein as an athlete.
“But it hasn’t been a problem bringing other protein-rich foods into my diet. “Everyone is different, so I would never tell someone they should go plant-based, but for anyone looking to just feel or perform a little better, I do encourage them.”

‘The Real Slim Shady’ rapper, 51, revealed the news he was going to be a grandfather in a music video released on Thursday (03.10.24) for his song ‘Temporary’, which was dedicated to his 28-year-old girl Hailie Jade.
His promo featured a montage of clips of the pair across the span of their lives so far – including a moment when she presented her father with a blue jumper with ‘Grandpa 1’ written on the back, as well as a copy of her sonogram, which she later posted on Instagram alongside her husband Evan McClintock.
A source has now told People he is being “very protective” of Hailey as he looks forward to her delivering his grandchild.
The insider added: “(Hailey is) a big focus (in his life.) She lives near him – they’re very close.
“He’s excited about becoming a grandpa and supporting her. He’s always been very protective of her.”
The source added Eminem has always “enjoyed privacy” and can “live exactly how he wants” due to his sprawling mansion and fortune.
Another insider said he is “super low-key” despite his riches, adding: “He doesn’t travel with an entourage.
“He’s still an incredibly cool guy but also very ‘normal’… he keeps to himself these days and is definitely an artist but not a diva.”
The sources spoke out about Eminem’s quiet life and how he can’t wait to be a doting grandad after it was revealed he was kept in the dark about his daughter’s pregnancy with the help of her best friend.
Hailie said on the ‘Just a Little Shady’ podcast how she hid the fact she was expecting thanks to pal Brittany Ednie.
She admitted her friend “covered for” her during a wedding they both attended “a couple of weeks ago”.
Brittany said on the show: “I need to also defend myself now that this is public knowledge – that you are pregnant – because at said wedding, people did not know that she was pregnant.”
She added she was secretly drinking all of Hailie’s alcoholic drinks at the nuptials so their friends didn’t raise any suspicions about her possibly being pregnant.
Brittany went on: “So she was, you know, grabbing a drink, not consuming the drink as a responsible parent does.
“Whenever people were turned around, she would hand me her drink, and I would chug so it looked as if she was continuously drinking throughout that night.”
Hailie added her friend had been “taking one for the team” by doubling up on the drinks despite never being asked – saying: “I’ll defend myself, though, because I never really asked you to do it. It was like an unspoken thing with our eyes.”
Hailie met her husband Evan in 2016 and he popped the question seven years later, with the pair walking down the aisle in May.
Eminem had Hailie in December 1995 with his ex Kim Scott, to whom he was married to twice before they split for good in 2006.
He also adopted Alaina, the daughter of Kim’s twin sister, Dawn, and Stevie Mathers – who is Kim’s child from another relationship – when they were younger.
