Valerie Bertinelli suffered ‘really bad anxiety attack’: ‘I was weeping uncontrollably…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Valerie Bertinelli suffered from a “really bad anxiety attack” over the weekend.
The 64-year-old actress took to social media on Sunday (17.11024) evening to reveal that it was the first time she had suffered something like it in a “very, very long time” and she was left “weeping uncontrollably” and decided to share her experience in the hope that someone else could relate.
Alongside a video of her trembling hand, she wrote on Instagram: ” I had a really bad anxiety attack today. I haven’t had one like this in a very, very long time. A few hours ago, I was weeping uncontrollably, and my heart felt like it was pounding out of my chest. I couldn’t stop shaking.
“I know I’m taking a chance, but, I want to share it because I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one out here who has experienced this.”
The former ‘One Day at a Time’ star noted that such attacks have become far less frequent than they used to be but never the less she was “surprised” by her latest one and has been turning to mediation in an attempt to ameliorate things.
She said: “Gratefully these attacks have become much more infrequent, so this one took me a little bit by surprise today. This is the after effect. As I’m going through the actual attack (lol attack is such an appropriate word. My body and my mind feels like it’s actually under attack 😅) Anyway…
I almost disassociate and am focused solely on calming down and finding any road to a more relaxed and peaceful body. Because I know it’s just my brain overthinking and catastrophizing but my body goes into overdrive and I have no control over it. Hours later, as I’m doing my best to meditate and EMDR my way out of this, this is the after effect that I can’t quite seem to calm all the way yet. ”

Katy Perry reminisces on first UK performances in a pub as she announces huge comeback tour

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry feels as if she has “grown up” with her fans.
The US-born pop star, 40, has just announced that her ‘Lifetimes Tour’ will be visiting arenas across the UK in 2025, but still remembers her very first gig at a small pub in London before her career took off in the late 2000s and feels “blessed” that those who saw her then are still supporting her now.
She told The Sun: “I remember my first show at Water Rats. It was amazing. I remember walking through and meeting my first fans, like my first English fans, and they’re still around, they’re still coming to the shows. I see them now and we’ve grown up together. And they’re still out there cheering me on.
“It’s so lovely. It’s a real reciprocated love affair.
“I called this tour the ‘Lifetimes Tour’ because I feel like I’ve grown up with my fans.
“I’m so blessed to have already had a lifetime of familiar songs that fans have adopted as the soundtracks to their lives, and to continue making music for them my whole life.”

Katy has four-year-old daughter Daisy with fiance Orlando Bloom and is “really excited” that the little one will be able to accompany her on the road.
She said: “I’m really excited Daisy can join me on this world tour. She is four now and then she’ll turn five on the road. Time really does fly.
“Some of my single friends that don’t have children, whenever they come and visit, and they only see her every six months or what have you, they’re like, ‘Whoa, she’s grown’. It’s like, time is happening, it’s ticking.
“I’m so excited to introduce her to a lot of places in the world and we’ll be having a fun adventure together.
“I know our days off will be fun playgrounds and outdoor adventures. In the UK we love the parks. We already spend quite a lot of time during the summer in London so we love it so much.

Hugh Grant ‘scours the internet’ for negative reviews of his film performances

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Grant “scours the internet” for negative reviews of his performances.
The 64-year-old actor has had a successful career in Hollywood for decades but admitted that his “masochism and miserablism” always leads him to seek out the more pessimistic comments on his work and he often ends up agreeing with them.
Speaking on the ‘Sunday Sitdown’ segment of US morning show ‘Today’, he said: “Obviously, it’s lovely, it’s lovely. It would be a lie to say anything else but having said that, in my infinite masochism and miserablism, I scour the internet for negatives. I look through RottenTomatoes for green splats, and when I read them I’m like ‘Yeah, that’s right…'”
The ‘Bridget Jones’ Diary’ star explained that he has “no idea” why he puts himself through such a practice, other than he just feels naturally drawn to the “darker side” of most things in life.
He added: “I don’t know, we’re just drawn to the negative side of life, or the dark side of life, or at least I am. I think people are sunnier this side of the Atlantic, actually!”
Hugh made his debut in the 1982 film ‘Privileged’ but it wasn’t until the 1994 comedy ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ was released that his Hollywood career really took off, but noted that acting had always been a part of his life and he must have been an “unbearable” child.
He said: “I think I was unbearable, I couldn’t be me ever as a kid just continually doing silly voices trying to make everyone laugh. I think it drove them all nuts, everyone, schoolteachers as well. Mr Hammond used to say ‘And where is the real Hugh Grant?’ We’re still trying to figure that one out!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Coulier has cut out all sugar amid his cancer battle.
The 65-year-old actor – who has been married to Melissa Bring since 2014 – revealed earlier this week that he had been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma and has now explained that his wife had enlisted the help of their nutritionist friend Melanie Samuels to put together a diet plan for via their new company.
He told People: “She has put together a whole nutrition plan for me. [Melissa] taken all the sugar out of my diet. Mel and Mel got together and they realised, ‘We’re on kind of the same journey here, why don’t we do something together?’ So they started this company, Live Well Lead Well.
“Maybe that’s why you started this company so that you could help me.’ I mean, it’s kind of incredible timing.”
Dave – who is best known for starring as Joey Gladstone on the classic ABC sitcom ‘Full House’ – recently admitted that he has made peace with the fact that this “could be the end” for him.
He told Today.com: “I told Melissa I don’t know why, but I [am] OK with whatever the news [is] going to be no matter how devastating. I can’t explain where that came from.
“I’ve had an incredible life.
“I’ve had the most amazing people in my life. This has been an extraordinary journey, and I’m OK if this is the end of the journey.”
But when Dave first received the news that he was suffering from the disease, he admitted that it felt like he had been “punched in the stomach” and had never imagined it actually happening to him.
He added: “The first thing I said to them was, ‘Wait a minute — cancer?’ “I was feeling like I got punched in the stomach because it never happens to you.
“You always hear about it happening to someone else.”

Royals’ Windsor Castle estate targeted by masked thieves

OHMYGOSSIP — Masked thieves targeted the royal estate where William, Prince of Wales lives with his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales, and their children.
The royals live in Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Castle estate with their children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and six-year-old Prince Louis and the couple are believed to have been at home when a raid took place at the nearby Shaw Farm with burglars scaling a 6ft fence to steal several vehicles and then smashing their way through a security gate to escape.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “At around 11.45pm on Sunday October 13, we received a report of burglary at a property on Crown Estate land near to the A308 in Windsor.
“Offenders entered a farm building and made off with a black Isuzu pick-up and a red quad bike. They then made off towards the Old Windsor/Datchet area.
“No arrests have been made at this stage and an investigation is ongoing.”
A source told The Sun newspaper: “They must have been watching Windsor Castle for a while. There are alarms at Windsor Castle but the first time anyone knew there was a break-in was when they crashed through the security barrier at Shaw Farm Gate exit.
“The barrier has needed to be replaced as it was so badly damaged. It was a Sunday night on a school week so the young princes and princess would have been tucked in bed at Adelaide Cottage, just around the corner but still in the grounds.”
Shaw Farm is a working farm that is within the royal estate’s security perimeter. The gate which was smashed during the raid is believed to be used regularly by William and his wife.
The couple moved to the house in 2022. King Charles and his wife Queen Camilla also have a residence at Windsor Castle, but the monarch is believed to have been away in Scotland at the time of the incident while Camilla is said to have been visiting a spa in India.

During an appearance on the ‘Not Alone’ podcast, Miranda spoke about being mum to four boys and added: “I was always in my heart of hearts happy regardless of the gender and I also actually had a miscarriage and it was a boy as well. So that was technically my fifth boy. My son now is my fifth boy technically. He’s a rainbow baby and he’s so sweet but each of them was so different.”

Katy Perry very confident in herself

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry has entered her “zero f****” 40s.
The ‘Teenage Dream’ hitmaker – who has four-year-old daughter Daisy with fiance Orlando Bloom – celebrated her milestone birthday last month and admitted that with getting older, she’s learned to care less about what other people think.
She told The Sun newspaper: “I guess I did step into what I call a ‘zero f**** 40′.
“A therapist told me one day, ‘No one can make you feel something about yourself that you already don’t feel about yourself’.
“So if someone says something about me that isn’t true, it doesn’t affect me because I know who I am now. I know myself better than ever.
“I care a lot about the things that are worth caring about but if someone’s not being kind or saying untrue things, then it doesn’t really matter.”
Despite her and Orlando’s huge success, Katy insisted they still lead “normal” lives and she has no desire to slow down her career.
She said: “We are so privileged to live such big lives that we’ve created.
“But we do have very kind of normal lives as well.
“We have all the bits and bobs in between. But we never take it for granted. Every day is a blessing.
“I’m working as hard as I’ve ever worked and I continue to.
“I never put any terms, conditions or limits on my dreams. I suggest that no one else does either because you might surprise yourself how much you can achieve when you believe.”
The ‘Woman’s World’ singer has just announced she will be touring the UK next year and after Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, were spotted in the audience at the final show of her Las Vegas residency in November last year, Katy admitted she’d love to see the royal’s estranged brother, Prince William, and his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales, at one of her British gigs.

Robbie Williams writes poignant open letter to former manager

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams never blamed his former manager for his drug-taking and personal problems during his early years in Take That.
The pop star has written an open letter to music mogul Nigel Martin-Smith – who brought the boyband together and managed them during their 1990s heyday – after they both appeared in new BBC documentary series ‘Boybands Forever’ and Nigel seemingly suggested Robbie blamed him for his troubles – but the singer has insisted his substance abuse issues would have happened even if he was working as a “taxi driver”.
In the note posted on Instagram, Robbie wrote: “Hey Nige. Hope all is good in your world and life is being kind to you. Just thought I’d jot down a few thoughts about our appearance together as talking heads on the BBC doc ‘Boybands Forever’.
“I was equal parts terrified and excited to be sharing a screen with you again. Excited to see where we are on this journey and terrified in case old enemies would be triggered and I’d still be in a place of hurt or fear.
“As it happens, it would appear that time has done its thing and I guess the wisdom it brings has taken its mop to a few nooks and crannies here and there. I guess not every nook has been bleached.”
Robbie went on to paraphrase Nigel’s words in the documentary, writing: “[Nigel said] He’s smart, is Robbie and it’s quite clever, you know, ‘I did drugs because I was in this band where I couldn’t have girlfriends or I couldn’t go out. That evil t**t Nigel, it’s his fault that I’m behaving like a w*****’.”
He went on to hit back at the claims, writing: “Allow me to respond to your assertion. My drug taking was never your fault. My response to the warped world that surrounded me is solely my own.
“How I chose to self-medicate is and was something that I will be monitoring and dealing with for the whole of my life. It’s part of my make-up and I would have the same malady had I been a taxi driver.
“I just got there quicker due to having the finances whilst trying in vain to counteract the turbulence of pop stardom’s matrix-bending washing machine.”
Robbie went on to insist plenty of boyband stars get ill and suffer heartbreaking personal problems – explaining his Take That bandmates fought their own demons after shooting to fame at a young age – and he reminded Nigel how young he was when he was under his care.
The pop star added: “If you are following this story closely you can’t help but notice a pattern emerge. Boys join a boyband. Boys get sick .. Some never mange to untangle the mess of the wreckage of the past …
“I will also remind you that the person acting like a ‘w*****’ was 16 when he joined the band and 21 when he left. That was the last time I saw you.
“I hope I have more grace and understanding when and if any of my own four children at such a vulnerable age behave in the same manner.”

Ethan Slater taped Wicked audition as THREE characters

OHMYGOSSIP — Ethan Slater played both Glinda and Nessarose in his ‘Wicked’ audition tape.
The 32-year-old actor hoped to land the role of Bog in the movie musical but had no one to read scenes with him so had no choice but to step in and read his scene partners’ lines when filming his submission for the role.
He told People magazine’s special Wicked issue: “I did two scenes and sang Boq’s songs, ‘The Ozdust Ballroom’ and ‘March of the Witch Hunters,’ which is the second movie.
“But, I should say that I didn’t have anyone to read with at the time, so the tape I sent in is me playing Glinda and Nessa off camera, and then me reading with a video of myself.”
Ethan admitted the move was “so bold” but he ultimately felt it was the right thing to do.
He added: “I can’t believe I got away with it. But I knew I wanted to take my time with it … and I couldn’t get somebody to spend that time with me, so I just did it with myself.”
Ethan is dating Ariana Grande, who plays Glinda in the film, and he hailed her “masterful grip” on the comedy of the role.
He gushed: “One of the things that was really fun to see is, she has a masterful grip on comedy, and she’s so funny and so physical, and it never feels like a joke on top of the character. It always feels like it’s coming right from Glinda. You get lost in the performance — she just is Glinda. Even in those incredibly funny physical moments.”
The cast also includes the likes of Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey, Jeff Goldblum, Peter Dinklage and Marissa Bode, and Ethan praised all his co-stars for their commitment to the project and their characters.
He said: “The thing that felt really special is how much everyone cared about their characters.
“When you’re working on something that’s been around the world for 20 years and these are characters that the fans love and care about, it’s really important that the actors portraying them in a movie of this scale care as much as everyone else. And everyone did.”

Even with the sleepless nights that come with having a newborn, John admits he finds “baby fatigue fun”.
He told E! News: “I like this kind of fatigue – this kind of fatigue is great.

He said: “Well, we found ourselves in a pretty wild and a pretty joyful situation.
“We’ve had a really eventful, amazing couple of years … dealing with Olivia’s cancer and a lot of tight and scary moments sometimes, but were talking the other day, [about how] in the past couple of years, we’ve laughed so much through everything.
“I don’t mean to sound corny or sacrum, but we’ve been so tight and had a lot of fun despite everything.”

Steve McQueen battled prostate cancer in secret

OHMYGOSSIP — Steve McQueen battled prostate cancer in secret two years ago.
The 55-year-old director has revealed he was diagnosed with the illness shortly before he started filming his new World War II movie ‘Blitz’ and pushed the shoot back by two weeks so he could undergo surgery to remove a cancerous tumour but he was determined to keep working despite his health crisis.
He told Deadline.com: “[I] discovered that I had developed this cancer, this tumour, a small tumour, and therefore obviously caught it very, very, early. I delayed the shoot by two weeks and then had the procedure.”
He spent two days in hospital and then had almost two weeks off before he got back to work on the film. He added: “I was just doing stuff in bed on the computer, working, emailing and whatever, but I kept it private at that stage …
“Two weeks after the procedure I was on set shooting [the film].”
Steve revealed he didn’t tell any of the ‘Blitz’ cast and crew about his illness because he didn’t want them to be ‘concerned” and only his wife and close family members knew about it.
He added: “I really just wanted to get on with the job. And that’s kind of like who I am. I’m a ‘get on with it’ kind of person.”
The moviemaker added that he’s now “fully recovered and fully functional” and puts his recovery down to early detection of the cancer. He explained: “The cancer’s gone and that’s down to early detection … It’s a cancer that if you detect early, it’s totally survivable and curable.”
Steve – whose father died of the same cancer – had regular check-ups and he is adamant men shouldn’t ignore potential problems and they should take part in regular screenings to make sure any issues are picked up early.

Josh Brolin in tense stand-off with Barbra Streisand over his drinking

OHMYGOSSIP — Josh Brolin became embroiled in a tense stand-off with his stepmother Barbra Streisand during his battle with alcohol addiction.
The actor – whose father James Brolin married the singer/actress in 1998 – spent years battling substance abuse issues but has been sober since 2013 and he’s now revealed he had a very difficult conversation with Barbra when he visited her home and asked for a glass of wine.
In a piece for the Wall Street Journal – adapted from his memoir ‘From Under the Truck’ – Josh wrote: “My father, James Brolin, married Barbra in 1998, when I was 30, and we were all going to live happily ever after. That was it. That was the ticket.
“Well into our happily-ever-after I walked into their house one day: ‘I’ll have a glass of wine’, I said. She looked at me and cocked her head, so I repeated myself. ‘I’ll have a glass of red wine, please.’
“She took a slow breath then hit me with it: ‘Aren’t you an alcoholic?’ It was a pretty ballsy thing to say … She always had a way of washing her tongue with a bulls*** cleanser before she talked with me.”
He added of the conversation:”[I said] ‘I’m an alcoholic, but I like red wine’. [She said] ‘You shouldn’t drink’.”
Josh’s mom Jane divorced James in the mid-1980s but died in a car accident in 1995 and the ‘No Country for Old Men’ star admits his stepmother was just trying to help him as best she could.
He added: “Who wants to be a stepmother … ? Nobody. It connotes evil intentions: drastic compensations for cosmetic insecurities; misery loves company; me me me syndrome. Barbra wasn’t that. She wanted a family. She was being kind …
“Barbra never saw that guy I was. She was never privy to those things that landed me in jail or in fights or figuring out why I was waking up on sidewalks with my T-shirt wrapped around my otherwise naked waist. She just wanted to give me some plain old-fashioned mothering. I had to get used to it.”
Josh went to rehab in 2013 following an arrest for public intoxication and the breakdown of his marriage to Diane Lane and he admits he realised he was on a “destructive path” and needed to turn his life around.
He told the Guardian newspaper: “Well, it was another turning point. It made me think of a lot of things. My mum dying when I was in my 20s.
“All the impact that had on me that I hadn’t moved past; I was always such a momma’s boy. But I realised that I was on a destructive path. I knew that I had to change and mature. It was like I stepped back and saw the hamster wheel.”

Nature-loving pop star SZA ‘talks to plants’

OHMYGOSSIP — SZA talks to plants.
The nature-loving pop star loves to connect with different “energies” and will often be found giving gratitude to flowers.
She told British Vogue after nearly “weeping” at a purple flower: “I talk to everything. I talk to plants. I talk to energies… I try to greet them. I leave an offering.”
The ‘Saturn’ hitmaker explained that nature is a reminder that everything in life is “completely out of your control”.
She continued: “Nature just be naturing and we don’t even know why. It’s so weird, and so bizarre, and magical, and so great. It’s such a reminder: this s*** is completely out of your control.
“The weeds are doing their part. They’re part of the larger landscape. They don’t get to choose if they’re a f****** tulip or a tiger lily or a dandelion.”
The 35-year-old star has struggled to cope with the pressures of fame and gets “paranoid” when people are filming her on the street.
Speaking to the magazine’s journalist whilst out and about, she said: “I think this girl’s filming me. We’ll go over here.”
She suspected a man was recording her, but it turned out he was taking a picture of a pagoda, and SZA said it’s an example of the “psychosis of fame”.
She laughed: “I’m screaming.
