OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra thinks she won Miss World because she was “well spoken”.
The 34-year-old stunner triumphed in the beauty pageant in 2000, but insists she was not the prettiest person in the universe at the time and believes she was successful because she was “decently turned out”.
She said: “I didn’t even know I was beautiful until — I don’t even know it now.
“I don’t think I was the most beautiful girl in the world. I think I won because I was well spoken and I was decently turned out. The stars aligned that day. But I taught myself to be the best version of myself over the years.
“Beauty is so subjective, whether it’s art, whether it’s human beings, whether it’s nature. What is one person’s ‘Mona Lisa’ is not someone else’s, you know?
“Beauty has nothing to do with me. I was born with it. But I don’t want to be known by the fact that I’m beautiful. I want to be known for the fact that I’m an achiever. Not even an actor. I don’t want a label. I don’t want a box. I want a legacy.”
The ‘Quantico’ star – who is to appear in a villainous role in the upcoming ‘Baywatch’ remake – admits she had no desires to get into acting during her younger years and was keen to pursue a completely different trade.
She said: “I wanted to be an engineer, because both my parents are doctors and I don’t like the smell of formaldehyde and I faint at the sight of blood. So, yeah. I decided to go in another direction.”
While the star admits she is very practical at overcoming problems, she regrets not being able to do anything about her father’s cancer before he sadly passed away in 2013.
Speaking to Refinery 29, she added: “I’m a really tough girl. I’m really good at fixing things and dealing with things. When the big s**t hits the fan, I’m the one who’ll stand up and say, ‘Alright, this is the solution. We can do this. This is fixable.’ But I couldn’t do that with my dad.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Dornan has described his ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ fame is a burden.
The 34-year-old actor plays alluring sex-obsessed billionaire Christian Grey in the erotic movie and the sequels, but the Irish heartthrob admits the circus surrounding the franchise – based on E. L. James’ books – can be a headache.
Speaking on UK TV show ‘This Morning’, he said: “It can be (a burden), but that’s just one job … to me or any actor that is involved in any franchise, it is just another job and you move on to the next thing.”
Dornan – who is married to English actress and singer/songwriter Amelia Warner, with whom he has two daughters – also discussed his journey to acting and claims he always knew he was destined for the life of a thespian because he didn’t have the “temperament” or the “attitude” to work in an office.
He said: “I wasn’t a great student at school. When I was at school I was very lazy, it felt like I was there for different reasons than education in a way – I always knew I didn’t have the right attitude and temperament to work in an office environment.”
Dornan can currently be seen in biographical World War II thriller ‘Anthropoid’, and despite the historical nature of his role, he confessed that history “wouldn’t have been where my attention was heading” at school.
The revelation of Dornan’s exasperation with his ‘Fifty Shades…’ fame comes shortly after he admitted he was done with the character now he has filmed sequels ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ and ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ and wouldn’t be returning for a potential fourth film.
He previously said: “We have done two movies back to back now, and I’m actually finished with it. I’ve done ‘Fifty Shades…’ forever.
“I move on very fast in my mind. As much as from the outside people think you are synonymous with one character, but I’m very much like, ‘Right, that’s done,’ and move on to the next project and worry about that character.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel B has teased the Spice Girls will replace missing members Mel C and Victoria Beckham with special guests when they perform again.
Scary Spice is planning to reunite with Baby Spice Emma Bunton and Ginger Spice Geri Horner to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut single ‘Wannabe’ and first album ‘Spice’ as a trio as Sporty Spice and Posh Spice don’t want to be involved.
It has been speculated that the threesome will take to the stage at Hyde Park in London next summer and Mel, 41, has teased that some other singers will fill in for the pair.
During an interview on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ on Thursday night (08.09.16), she said: “We are going to do something, us three. We’re going to perform and celebrate together. I think because we’re a British band, we’re probably going to start in London and work our way around and see whoever else wants to see it.
“I don’t think we could ever replace Sporty or Posh, but I’d like to invite some people up on stage with us.”
Corden then suggested famous Spice Girls fan Adele as a possible special guest following her recent impromptu performance of ‘Spice Up Your Life’ at one of her concerts.
To which Mel B – real name Melanie Brown – enthusiastically replied: “I love her!”
The ‘Holler’ singer couldn’t resist having a bit of fun with Mel C and Victoria’s decision not to be part of the reunion.
British host Corden, 38, asked why only three of the band are up for getting back together prompting Mel to exclaim: “Because the other two bitches didn’t want to do it!”
However, she was quick to assure the studio audience she was only joking, saying: “Let me correct that – my other two fellow lovely ladies. Look, Victoria’s busy with her great fashion line and Mel C’s doing her own album. So they gracefully said, ‘You know, you three, you go ahead and do it.’ We’re girl power, we support each other. So us three went, ‘Ok, let’s just us three do it.’ ”
Mel C recently admitted she felt the quintet’s appearance at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony should have been their final one and admitted she has no interest in reuniting with the other members.
In an essay for LOVE magazine, she wrote: “Truth be told, earlier this year after several face-to-face meetings with the girls I made the difficult decision not to be part of a proposed reunion with Emma, Geri and Melanie. Victoria had already bowed out understandably with the demands of her fashion label and her rather large family.
“The hardest part for me was letting people down, the girls, the fans, civilisation?! Unfortunately something didn’t feel quite right and I had to follow my gut.
“I’d love to play huge arenas across the world, sing our brilliantly bonkers pop songs and relive our former glory. It is of course a very lucrative opportunity too. But we were a five-piece band. Didn’t we reach a peak with the Olympics? There’s a lot to be said for bowing out on a high note.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga is a big fan of the Spice Girls.
The ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker has revealed she used to be a huge fan of the girl group and performed their tracks at high school talent shows.
Speaking to Emma Bunton during an appearance on Heart Breakfast, Gaga gushed: “I’m having a bit of a moment being here with you as well, I mean it’s like very exciting!
“I was a big fan in high school and we used to do performances at school you know, for talent shows and stuff.”
When quizzed which one of the girls she used to dress up as, the 30-year-old singer said: “[I was] Baby Spice.”
Emma was clearly pleased by Gaga’s admission and said excitedly: “Get in, Gaga was Baby Spice!”
Elsewhere in the interview, the pop star – real name Stefani Germanotta – discussed collaborating with Mark Ronson and Beck on her new tracks.
When asked if her new single, ‘Perfect Illusion’, is a break up track, she said: “It can be a break up song, for sure, and I think on both sides, you know. Something that was so important to me and Mark Ronson was that we wanted it to be something that both sexes could relate to … I will say, we did work with Beck on the record, and someone else that’s very exciting.”
However, Gaga was more reserved about divulging the name of her upcoming album.
Asked if she knows what she is planning to call the LP, she said: “I do, but I’m not going to reveal it yet.”
And the ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker also remained tight-lipped on whether Elton John would be making an appearance.
She said simply: “I am not saying.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lacey Chabert has given birth to a baby girl.
The ‘Mean Girls’ actress and her husband Dave Nehdar, whom she married in 2013, welcomed daughter Julia Mimi Bella into the world last week and the 33-year-old star hailed the tot’s birth as the “best day” of her life.
She shared a picture of the baby on Instagram on Thursday (08.09.16) and wrote: “And then my soul saw you and it kind of went, ‘Oh, there you are. I’ve been looking for you.’ #TBT to the best day of my life. One week ago I became a mom to this precious angel. Julia Mimi Bella.
“Julia, you are my heart’s deepest dream come true. I love you more than I could ever say. Welcome to this big beautiful world sweet girl!”
The ‘Party of Five’ actress admitted recently she felt like she would be pregnant “forever”.
She joked on social media: “#47weekspregnant OK not really, but seriously, for real…am I going to be pregnant forever? Is this a thing that happens to some women?? This last week and a half or so is no joke! #pleasecomesoonlittlelady #readytopop.(sic)”
Lacey revealed her pregnancy in February with the help of her dog.

OHMYGOSSIP — Vons have apologised to Zendaya after she claimed she was refused service because of her “skin tone”.
The 20-year-old singer-and-actress hit out at the supermarket chain on Snapchat earlier this week and accused the sales clerk of suggesting she “couldn’t afford” to make the gift card purchases she wanted, and suggested she had been treated differently because of her race.
Now the company have said sorry to the ‘Shake It Up’ star, but insisted there was no discrimination involved in the incident.
Vons said in a statement: “At Vons, we strive to treat each and every customer with the utmost respect. There is a policy that limits gift card purchases using a credit card.
“Zendaya was able to purchase gift cards up to our limit, and we apologise for any inconvenience or misunderstanding.
“We respect Zendaya’s voice in the community and similarly are committed to diversity and inclusion. Moreover, we understand that race is a sensitive issue in America and view this experience as a reminder that every interaction is an opportunity to treat each customer as we ourselves would like to be treated.”
In her Snapchat videos, Zendaya objected to the way the sales clerk had treated her in the store.
She said: “So we just got out of this Vons. Now I am trying to buy a lot of gift cards. There are certain limits or whatever so you can only by so much, but the lady that was helping us … I don’t think she was a fan of our skin tone. She then threw my wallet. I can’t make this up! This is what we deal with! She literally threw my wallet and she was like, ‘You can’t afford this.’ It was $400! Long story short, there is so much progress to be done in our world.”
The ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ star then corrected herself in a later video, saying that the store clerk didn’t throw her wallet, but actually tossed it toward her.
She said: “You know what it’s all love! You know, may she go on to have a wonderful life. Yo, shout out the manager for coming and helping – I got my gift cards!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Taraji P. Henson “yearns” for “real love”.
The ‘Empire’ actress insists she would never settle down and marry someone if she didn’t feel confident she’d found true happiness because she wants to set a good example for her 22-year-old son Marcell, whose father William Johnson was murdered in 2003.
She said: “If I was going to get married, it had to be for love, because I wanted Marcell to see that real kind of love — the kind I yearn for. That old couple crooked and bent over but still holding hands. I know that kind of love exists and I’m not going to stop until I have that.”
The 45-year-old star admits being a single parent is “not easy” and she wouldn’t wish her circumstances on anyone else.
Discussing the pressure to do it all as a single mother, she told Redbook magazine: “It depends on what women equate success with. I think we try to do our best. And yes, we can do it all, but I wouldn’t wish being a single parent on my worst enemy. It is not easy.”
Taraji thinks people these days are overprotective of their children and they need to be more exposed to real life and problems.
She said: “These days we’re so busy protecting our kids, when we really should be pulling back the blinds and showing them that we live in a world that’s not always fair and moral. Sometimes we try to protect our children so much that when something doesn’t go right in their lives, they’re unprepared to deal with adversity. I don’t think that does our kids any favours.”
The actress – who turns 46 on September 11 – doesn’t worry about getting older.
She said: “I grew up watching women in my family embrace getting older and I think that’s healthy. You ought to see my grandmother: She is 92, looks great, still travels, and dates a younger man. I’m 46 and I’m proud. Men don’t lie about their age, so why should women?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Adele gets a doctor to approve which members of her crew she can speak to so she doesn’t get ill.
The ‘Hello’ singer was forced to cancel a gig in Phoenix, Arizona, last month, after falling sick with a cold, and is so concerned about the thought of contracting anything else, she has a medic assess her team once a week and either give them a badge of approval or place them in “quarantine”.
According to The Sun newspaper, she told her audience in Michigan on Wednesday (07.09.16): “I had to cancel a show on the last leg of my tour in Phoenix, Arizona and I’ve actually never been so devastated in my life.
“We have a doctor that comes in once a week that comes in and everyone gets a badge so I know I can go up to them and talk to them.
“So everyone gets a badge and if they’ve got a badge it means I know I can go up to them and be like, ‘Hi, how are you?’ and touch them. If they don’t have a badge, you are quarantined.”
But Adele isn’t entirely healthy as the 28-year-old singer – who has a three-year-old son, Angelo, with partner Simon Konecki – admitted she has got sunburnt after spending her two-week break at her Los Angeles home.
She said: “I’ve actually just had a two week break. So I was living it up in LA having a nice holiday, sunbathing without any sun cream so I’m very, very burnt under all of this.”
The ‘Skyfall’ hitmaker was devastated when she had to cancel the show last month.
She said in an Instagram video: I’m really, really sorry. I’ve had a cold for a couple days, and I’ve been pushing through it and I did my show last night and I loved it, but I pushed too hard. And my cold has gotten the better of me.
“As you can hear, even if I did the show, it wouldn’t be very good.
“I’m really, really, really sorry to let anyone down.

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kardashian admits his relationship with Blac Chyna was “very, very complicated” in the beginning.
The 29-year-old reality star began romancing the make-up artist – who has a three-year-old son, King Cairo, with his half-sister Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend Tyga – at the beginning of the year and was reluctant to discuss his new-found happiness with the rest of his family because of the awkward circumstances.
He said: “I couldn’t really feel comfortable about talking to any of my family members obviously about the situation. It was very, very complicated. But my happiness outweighed everything honestly at that point in my life.”
But after having one-on-one chats with his family, Rob – who is expecting his first child with Chyna – insists all is well between them.
Speaking on radio show ‘On Air With Ryan Seacrest’, he said: “There’s no beef between anybody. Everything’s positive.”
And the sock designer can’t understand why people think his relationship with Chyna is a way of annoying his family.
He said: “Never in a million years would I have a child out of spite.”
Before finding love with Chyna – who he proposed to in April – Rob had retreated from the spotlight as he battled depression and weight gain and claims he needed the 28-year-old beauty to help him through his “rough time”.
He admitted: “Sometimes your family can’t get you out of the worst place that I was in.
“I needed an outsider to help me. I couldn’t do it all myself.
“Chyna helped me through my rough time. I was uncomfortable in my skin, just trying to get over that uncomfortable feeling. She really helped me get past that [feeling of] being judged.”
The couple have set a date for their wedding, but are focusing on their new baby first.
Rob said: “First, have a healthy baby, then hopefully a beautiful wedding. But obviously the baby comes first.”

The 35-year-old actress – who already has five-year-old son Aleph with husband Benjamin Millepied – showed off her growing baby bump in a pink one-shoulder dress on the red carpet at the premiere of her film ‘Planetarium’ at the Venice Film Festival on Thursday (08.09.16).
Sources confirmed the news to Us Weekly, while one onlooker told the publication the actress was seen rubbing her tummy during the event.
Natalie recently admitted the frequent travelling she does for her work can make home life with her son hard.
She said: “I will never have the boredom or repetitiveness of an office.
“But every job takes me to a new place with a new schedule, and it requires a reinvention of ritual each time, even more so with a family.
“Every time I go on location, I have to figure out where to live, what activities are available for my son, how and when we will travel from our home base.
“When I’m not working. I’m pretty much exclusively with my family, so my rituals have to do with school, meal preparation, playdates, bedtime.”
And the ‘Black Swan’ star believes female friendships in Hollywood are very important.
She said: “It’s so important, and we’re prevented from it a lot because we don’t get to work with each other a lot. I’ve actually been noticing it a lot even in kids’ films recently, how you see even like a cartoon and there’s like a girl in it, and we’re used to that. It’s a film of all men and then there’s a woman. And acting for 20 years, I’m used to that – that I’m the woman on set. When we do get the opportunity to work with other women, we always end up just like running toward each other and embracing because it’s such great energy to have.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Iman is “holding up” after a “tough year”.
The 61-year-old model suffered a double tragedy earlier this year when her husband David Bowie died of cancer in January, and her beloved mother Marian Abdulmajid passed away three months later.
Iman has largely kept out of the spotlight since her husband passed away but made a brave public appearance at Tom Ford’s Fall 2016 collection show at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday (07.09.16), and revealed she is slowly coming to terms with her grief.
She told Joe Zee for ‘Good Morning America’: “It’s just been a tough year, but I’m holding up.”
When Joe praised her as a “survivor”, she replied: “Not as much as you think.”
The Somalian beauty also revealed she has a special necklace in tribute to her husband, which was made by designer Hedi Slimane.
She showed the gold jewellery and said:”I’m wearing this until my death. Hedi Slimane made it for me. It just says ‘David.’ ”
Iman – who has 16-year-old daughter Alexandria, who is known as Lexi, with her late spouse – had earlier revealed the fashion show was her “first night out” since 2015.
Alongside a picture of her on Instagram wearing an electric-blue velvet suit featuring a plunging neckline, with her luscious brown locks cascading over her shoulders, Iman wrote: “Made It My First Night Out! Thanks @tomford for a very glam but intimate presentation. (sic)”
Earlier that night, she posted a picture with her hair wrapped in a towel, and added: “My first night out attending an event since last year!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Courtney Stodden is feeling “lost” since suffering a miscarriage.
The 21-year-old reality TV star – who was expecting her first child with her husband Doug Hutchison but tragically lost the baby in July – had shaved her head as a sign of her grief but has admitted the drastic makeover didn’t bring about the healing she’d hoped.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I’m just feeling a little lost right now.
“I thought shaving my head would give me some kind of relief from the pain I’ve been experiencing… but it hasn’t.”
Since chopping off her locks, Courtney has been sporting a variety of different coloured wigs and admits her ever-changing appearance is an attempt to try and “find” herself.
She said: “I’m wearing wigs in order to try and make myself feel like I used to feel before all of this stuff happened.
“I almost feel like I’m trying to find myself all over again… or maybe find myself for the first time in my life. I don’t know.”
Courtney previously explained she was shaving her hair to signify a fresh start.
She said: “Hi everyone, as you all know I recently suffered a miscarriage and it’s had a huge impact on me emotionally.
“I’ve been thinking and I have decided that I want to give back to my angel with a symbolic gesture and that to me is shaving my hair off because I want to step into this new chapter into my life fresh and new.”
Courtney recently purchased a ‘reborn baby’ – dolls which are made to look and feel like newborns – on the advice of her therapist.
She shared a video on Instagram of herself receiving the doll and wrote: “Just received my reborn baby today! exciting i know it may seem a little strange but my therapist suggested that having him may help me cope with my loss. #rebornbaby (sic)”
In the video, Courtney unwrapped the package before lifting out the doll and cradling it.
She said in the clip: “Oh my gosh guys, he’s so pretty. He’s so beautiful, he looks like a baby.”
Courtney shared a number of pictures of the doll, including one of it next to her dog, which she captioned “the babies”.
Another image was of the doll’s ‘birth certificate’, which had the name and date of birth sections left blank, but a weight of 5lbs 6oz and length of 20 inches listed, as well as that it came from Tiny Toe Angels nursery. .

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Rowland wants to get back on stage so her son can see her perform.
The ‘Motivation’ hitmaker is desperate to do some concerts so her 17-month-old son Titan Jewell – her child with husband Tim Witherspoon – can see what she does for a job.
Asked why her as-yet untitled fifth solo album was a hard record to make, she explained to Billboard magazine: “Just because I’ve been gone for so long. I wanted to take that first year to just be a mother, but I wanted to put out music at the same time. I was fighting myself.
“So then here’s the second year, and I’ve been recording but I’ve always had some hiccups in between it with other projects that I’m doing. I’m shooting a movie right now, but at the end of this year, I definitely am finishing up this record and I’m releasing it next year. I’m even tired of waiting on it myself, I want to get back on stage, and I want my son to see me on stage.
“I want him to witness that whole feeling. He saw me at rehearsal a couple months back when I did a video and he was so excited. So the fact that he likes it, I need him to see that again.”
The former Destiny’s Child star is loving being a parent but she making sure she takes motherhood “one day at a time”.
The 35-year-old singer has urged expectant mothers to not overthink and worry about doing a “perfect job” of raising their children.
When asked what advice she’d give new parents, she said: “One day at a time. I think that immediately, when I became pregnant, the first thing you think [about] is just doing a perfect job.
“You can’t think about it like that because love is the perfect job. It’s protecting them and making sure that they’re happy and that they’re going to be safe.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Jackson is living in the guesthouse at her father Michael’s new home.
The 18-year-old aspiring actress has moved out of the home she shared with her grandmother Katherine Jackson and a number of other members of her extended family, and though it was previously reported she has moved into the late King of Pop’s Encino mansion – where the ‘Bad’ singer lived until buying his famous Neverland ranch in 1988 – it has now emerged that building is being renovated so she has moved into the other property on the grounds of the estate instead.
According to TMZ, Paris’ family had security concerns about where she moved to after expressing a desire to live alone, so it was suggested she use her father’s old house.
She had to obtain permission from the trustees of Michael’s estate, who quickly granted her request as she pointed out she effectively owns the property as part of her trust.
Though Paris’ boyfriend Michael Snoddy is a regular visitor to the abode, he does not live there with her.
The mansion was bought by the teenage star’s grandfather Joe Jackson at the height of the Jackson Five’s success and Michael lived there until he moved into his famous Neverland Ranch in 1988.
However, since the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker tragically died in 2009 from acute drug intoxication, the house has been caught up in a bitter battle between his mother Katherine and his estate.
Up until she moved into the abode, Paris – who is thought to get an estimated $8-million-a-year allowance from the estate – had been living with Katherine, her brothers Prince, 19, and 14-year-old Blanket, and some of her cousins in a seven-bedroom mansion in Calabasas, California.

Tony Marrero had attended Pulse nightclub with his best friend Luis Vielma in June, and his 22-year-old pal was one of the 49 tragically killed, while his own survival was hailed a miracle by medics because he was shot four times in the back and once in the arm, but none of the bullets hit his vital organs or spinal cord.
Tony appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show and told the host how important Katy’s song ‘Rise’ was during his recovery – and the tearful singer then walked out to surprise him.
She gave her fan a hug and said: “I don’t know how I’m going to get through this. Your story is so inspirational.
“I’m happy to be a joy. I’m happy to be a light, and I’m happy I could be there in my own little way to help you.”
In return, Tony gave his heartfelt thanks to the 31-year-old pop star.
He said: “I just want to say thank you for everything you do. Your lyrics to that song helped me from the day that I was in the hospital all the way to now. You’re amazing.”
The ‘Dark Horse’ singer then revealed she had a surprise for Tony.
She said: “I heard that you’re creative just like me and you have dreams and you want to go out there and do good and fulfill them.
“I heard that you want to go to film school so I personally want to pay for your first year at film school.”
And in addition to Katy’s generosity, Ellen gifted Tony with a private screening of her movie ‘Finding Dory’, and also donated $25,000 to the foundation benefiting Pulse victims via Shutterfly.
