OHMYGOSSIP — Leonardo DiCaprio’s passion for environmentalism was inspired by Al Gore.
The Hollywood icon has revealed the former US Presidential candidate encouraged him to take a more active interest in issues such as global warming and animal welfare during a conversation they had in the White House.
He shared: “At a young age, I was very saddened by species that had become extinct by the result of man-made activity and so that led me on a long sort of journey to get me involved in environmental issues.”
DiCaprio, 41 – who has spent years raising awareness about global warming – revealed how one conversation with Gore, who served as the US vice-President under Bill Clinton, shaped his attitude.
He told People: “It was really a meeting that I had with Al Gore in the White House in my early 20s.
“He sat me down, drew a picture of the planet, drew our atmosphere and said, ‘This Is the most important crisis facing humanity’ and from that point on I really become not only fascinated with the issue but really concerned why we as a collective world community haven’t done enough about it.”
Despite the work he has already done in the fight against global warming, DiCaprio admitted the battle is far from over.
The ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ star explained: “Each year is getting hotter than the next and now is the time to act on this issue. We are at a real turning point, not only in human history but as far as the manipulation of our planet is concerned due to global emissions. We need political leaders to really take a stand.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kardashian has deleted all of the photographs on his Instagram account.
The 29-year-old reality TV star, who is currently expecting his first child with Blac Chyna, has unfollowed all his friends and family, including his fiancée, from the photo-sharing website.
Rob has not yet offered an explanation for the move, although it comes shortly after he followed sister Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Tyga, on Instagram.
The 26-year-old rapper dated Chyna from 2011 until 2014 and they have a three-year-old son called King Cairo.
Chyna, meanwhile, has not done anything new with her own Instagram account, although Rob’s move seems certain to spark more speculation about the status of their relationship.
In July, Rob – who has 7.1 million followers on the social media site – removed all photos of his bride-to-be from his Instagram account.
At the time, a source close to the couple said Rob’s behaviour was the result of a tiff between the pair, which was subsequently resolved.
The source said: “They fought and then started talking again yesterday.
“It was just a fight. It was from the pressure of filming the show and everything moving too fast. Rob is just not used to filming again, and it’s been hard on him.”
Rob took to Instagram last month to congratulate sister Kendall Jenner on her September cover of Vogue magazine.
Alongside a shot of the magazine cover, he wrote: “I’m so proud of you baby Sis!!!!!!!!! September issue VOGUE!! LOVE YOU KENNY. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — The decision not to prosecute Sir Cliff Richard over sex abuse claims has been challenged by a second alleged victim.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has announced that another man has asked for his case against the British singer to be re-examined, with the outcome likely to be announced before the end of September.
Last week, it was reported that a review had been requested by a man who has alleged Sir Cliff assaulted him during his childhood.
A CPS spokesman said: “A second request has been received.”
In June, the CPS concluded there was insufficient evidence to prosecute Sir Cliff over the sex offence claims made by four men, who have alleged he assaulted them between 1958 and the early 1980s.
Meanwhile, the 75-year-old singer has reportedly been informed of the latest developments and has strongly denied the allegations made against him.
Sir Cliff has every confidence the “CPS will come to the right conclusion as soon as possible”, according to a spokesperson.
Meanwhile, a friend of Sir Cliff’s recently insisted the musician will “not be broken by this”.
The insider said: “He won’t let this break him. He’s spoken of his innocence, he knows in his heart of hearts that he has been honest and told the truth. He waited two years and that did almost break him, but once the police said there was no case it was a complete relief and a release for him.
“It was total relief and he won’t be broken by this.
“But it’s absolutely ridiculous that he has to go through it. It’s a waste of police time. It’s the plight of fame, people can come up and say anything. It’s awful that he even has to think about it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West wants her children to be forensic investigators.
The 35-year-old beauty – who has a three-year-old daughter called North and a 10-month-old son called Saint with her husband, rapper Kanye West – has admitted she’s obsessed with crime shows and would like to see her children become investigators.
She said: “I’m gonna be that annoying, pushy mom and say I want to live vicariously through my daughter or son and have them be a forensic investigator.”
Kim said her obsession with “morbid” things can be traced back to her father, the late attorney Robert Kardashian, working with his friend O.J. Simpson during his murder trial in the 1990s.
Kim told SheKnows: “I’ve always been into the most morbid things.
“I was really nosy when my dad was working on the O.J. trial, and I would look through all his stuff, and I just wish I was in that field. It’s the only type of TV I really like to watch.”
Kim added: “I love ‘Making a Murderer’. I love any murder show.”
Earlier this year, the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star revealed her ambition to become a crime solver.
She shared: “I would love to be a forensic investigator and live a normal life.”
Kim also shared how her father, who passed away in 2003, inspired her.
The brunette explained: “My dad was [my hero], for sure. I love that he was always so honest about family. You know, that’s something I really looked up to.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Meg Ryan thinks Tom Hanks is an acting “master”.
The 54-year-old actress cast the Oscar-winning star for her directorial debut, ‘Ithaca’ – which is set during the early days of World War II – and Meg is thrilled Tom has supported her by agreeing to feature in the movie.
Meg – who previously starred opposite Tom in the 1998 comedy-drama ‘You’ve Got Mail’ – said: “He really did me this huge favour. I mean, he’s so great. And he did not have to come all the way to Virginia and do this teeny movie. He’s just such a master.”
The movie centres on the story of 14-year-old Homer Macauley, who becomes the man of the house after his father dies and his older brother joins the military.
‘Ithaca’ stars Meg’s real-life son Jack, who she had with ex-husband Dennis Quaid.
In the movie, Jack plays the part of Marcus, Homer’s older brother, and he also narrates parts of the plot.
Of her son, Meg told People: “Jack is a blast and he’s a really hard worker so it was fun to have him around the set.
“And he has such an expressive voice. We knew we needed to make the relationship between the two brothers really strong so we put the pieces of wisdom from the book in Marcus’ mouth. I thought it worked beautifully.”
The movie is based on William Saroyan’s 1943 novel ‘The Human Comedy’ and Meg thinks it was the ideal script with which to make her directorial debut.
She shared: “I knew I could tell the story simply with pictures – the whole movie is like a poem on a postcard.
“I felt like I could manage something this size.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Alba got a tattoo on her wrist after breaking up with an unnamed celebrity.
The ‘Sin City’ actress – who has been married to Cash Warren since 2008 – has revealed she got the inking following the collapse of her relationship with a famous man, although she has remained tight-lipped about who he was.
Explaining the significance of her tattoo, she shared on ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’: “It’s lotus in Sanskrit. It means the manifestation of spiritual beauty.
“He was really anti-tattoos, and I felt like after I broke up with him, I found myself again. It’s unnecessary to talk about this. He’s like a famous actor.”
The mother-of-two previously admitted she regretted getting some of her tattoos.
Jessica – who dated actor Michael Weatherly in the early 2000s – said: “You’re never going to be in the same place emotionally and mentally at 18 that you are at 20 or 25 or 30. Something that’s meaningful to you when you’re younger is not going to be meaningful to you five years later.
“I have a few tattoos. I’m not into them now the way that I was.”
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old beauty recently revealed she feels “happier and more productive” when she exercises.
Jessica tries to work out four times a week, but confessed it is more like two or three times because she is so busy.
She said: “If I work out four times, I consider it a successful week. But it’s typically more like two to three days a week because that’s what I have time for. I take Spin or hot yoga classes in the morning, and I sacrifice sleep to fit them in.
“For me, the benefits of exercise are more mental than physical. Working out takes away that little edge so that I feel happier and more productive, and my brain can get kick-started.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Celine Dion has released a tribute to her late husband Rene Angelil.
The 48-year-old singer debuted the emotion-filled track, called ‘Recovering’, on Thursday (08.09.16) and in it, she opens up about her personal heartbreak.
She sings: “I am recovering / The hope that I lost / The part of my soul / That paid the cost.
“Little by little / Day by day / One step at a time / Shake off the devil / Take back my peace of mind.”
During the course of the song, Celine confesses to being an anxiety addict and someone who harbours constant regrets.
She sings at the end: “Tell him I love him. Take back my peace of mind.”
‘Recovering’ was written by pop star Pink and Celine personally thanked the 37-year-old beauty at May’s Billboard Music Awards.
She recalled: “When I saw her, I said, ‘For you to take the time to really write a song, to give me a tool, a piece of luggage to help me, to move forward to walk, to keep going…'”
Celine – who accepted the Icon award at the event – paid a glowing tribute to the chart-topping singer.
Celine explained: “She is phenomenal. I love her for her talent, for her strength, for her focus, [for] the person she is.”
René passed away in January following a battle with throat cancer and Celine previously paid tribute to her husband during the finale of her Greatest Hits show, performing her hit track ‘My Heart Will Go On’
She said: “My Heart Will Go On’ has been an important song in my life for nearly two decades.
“Now and tonight, I’m very honoured to sing it for all of you and for the love of my life. René, you will always be in my heart.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga loves fish and chips.
The 30-year-old star has admitted she loves indulging in the traditional British dish, even though she knows it is bad for her health.
She shared: “I have got to say I’m the biggest sucker for fish and chips with some mushy peas. It is really bad. But I need a lot of malted vinegar.”
Gaga – whose real name is Stefani Germanotta – said she will only eat chips if they are covered in vinegar, admitting she is obsessed by the taste.
Talking to Manchester radio station Key 103, the award-winning singer shared: “Some places they don’t give you the vinegar and I always ask for the vinegar and they give me the look of oh you need the condiment?
“I feel terrible but I just love it so much.”
Meanwhile, Gaga recently revealed she was a huge fan of the Spice Girls as a child.
The ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker was an avid listener to the girl group and even performed their tracks at high school talent shows.
Speaking to Emma Bunton during an appearance on her radio show, Gaga gushed: “I’m having a bit of a moment being here with you as well, I mean it’s like very exciting!
“I was a big fan in high school and we used to do performances at school you know, for talent shows and stuff.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Wiz Khalifa isn’t interested in being Amber Rose’s “rebound” lover.
The 29-year-old rap star – who was married to the curvaceous model until earlier this year – has taken to Twitter after Amber revealed she recently had a “f***ing horrible” threesome and suggested she would turn to her ex for sex.
But Wiz hit back, saying: “Not here for your rebound after your threesome. Only peace and love @DaRealAmberRose. (sic)”
Amber, 32 – who shares a three-year-old son called Sebastian with Wiz – revealed recently that it had been six months since she was last intimate with a man before her threesome.

OHMYGOSSIP — Terrence Howard’s son Hero is his “new favourite”.
The Hollywood actor and his wife Miranda Pak welcomed their new son in August and he has admitted being a father of young boys is a life-changing experience.
Terrence – who also has a 16-month-old son called Qirin Love with his wife, as well as three other children from a previous relationship – shared: “He’s changed my life. He’s my everything. He’s my new favourite.”
However, the 47-year-old star was quick to point out that his definition of the word was based on the needs of the child.
He told ‘Live with Kelly’: “You know, we do have favourites as parents! The one that needs us the most becomes our favourite.”
The Empire’ actor is also a grandfather and has revealed his grandchildren have come up with nicknames for his younger two sons.
Terrence shared: “I’ve got a four-year-old granddaughter and I’ve got a two-year-old grandson, and they call Hero and Qirin ‘Baby Uncle.”
Last year, meanwhile, Terrence won his spousal support battle with Michelle Ghent, who he was married to from 2010 until 2013.
Terrence sought to get his divorce settlement from his second wife – who he married in January 2010, but split from 11 months later – thrown out on grounds he signed it under duress and a Los Angeles Superior Court judge sided with his claim.
Michelle had wanted the actor to pay more than his current $5,800-a-month agreement because of his success on ‘Empire’, but the judge agreed she had blackmailed him with threats of releasing naked photos and videos.
However, the judge also admonished the Hollywood star over allegations of domestic abuse while delivering the ruling.
The judge said: “Terrence is a bully, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be bullied.”

The Oscar-winning actress has taken to Instagram to post a picture of her look-a-like daughter, who is 17 today (09.09.16), and to publish a heartfelt message.
Reese wrote: “Can’t believe my baby is 17 today! I love you, @avaphillippe Your gorgeous heart and loving spirit never cease to amaze me! I’m so lucky the universe let me be your mother. (sic)”
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty – who shares her teenage daughter with her ex-husband, actor Ryan Phillippe – recently opened up about her spiritual beliefs.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashton Kutcher sleeps soundly for eight hours every night – because he has no stress in his life.
The 38-year-old actor lives with his wife Mila Kunis and their 21-month-old daughter Wyatt and he insists he has no worries which keep him awake in the evenings and his happy mood means he always rests comfortably.
If Ashton ever does have a problem he prefers to deal with it straight away and is adamant most issues can be solved by talking them through.
In an interview with the German edition of GQ Style magazine, he shared: “Usually I sleep eight hours a night. I don’t have any unpaid bills that won’t let me sleep at night – nor personal problems neither. I don’t want to owe anybody anything or let conflicts rise. Before there are any rumours or even lawyers involved, I’d rather call somebody. Most problems can be solved by talking. After a good chat I’m at peace with myself. If somebody still has a problem, at least I know I did everything I could do.”
Ashton was previously married to Demi Moore and acted as stepfather to her three daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, with Bruce Willis.
Although he has helped raise kids before, the former ‘Two and a Half Men’ star is enjoying seeing Wyatt grow from a newborn baby and was particularly amazed by her reaction when she realised she had killed a bug recently.
Ashton – who is expecting his second child with 33-year-old Mila – said: “I learn every day from Wyatt! It even inspires me as an actor that I can see the world through her eyes every day. Recently she stepped on a bug on purpose, she was really aggressive about it and only realised later that she killed it that way. It was very impressive to see those raw, precious feelings of her which she experienced the first time in her life.
“It’s also very exciting to witness how she tries things in her environment for the first time. I think it’s interesting , how products are being optimised. Many software companies test the ease of use on first-time-users. My daughter is the ideal candidate for everything in the world, because she hasn’t learnt much. If she can’t handle a thing without background knowledge, you know, that design is bad.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Meat Loaf can’t stand up for longer than five minutes.
The ‘Bat out of Hell’ hitmaker has an extremely painful back injury after pinching a nerve which means he has to spend most of the time sat down, and he has also been struck down with a swollen tongue so has to talk slower than usual.
He said: “I don’t do drugs. I don’t drink. I have a pinched nerve in my back and it feels like when I stand up to walk, that Norman Bates from Psycho is stabbing me in the back. And it hurts like hell.”
When asked if he is on medication, he replied: “No, if you get on medication then you can’t speak. And my assistant said ‘don’t talk about this’. But I went to a doctor the other night and he told me my tongue was swollen. And I have no idea why. It’s causing me to talk slower than normal.
“Because when I saw myself on TV I freaked out. I looked like I was drunk.
“I’m OK, it’s just a pinched nerve. I can’t stand up for longer than five minutes.”
In June, the star collapsed on stage at the Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, Canada, while belting out his classic song ‘I Will Do Anything For Love’, but insisted that was nothing to do with his back problems.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Friday, he added: “My back wasn’t hurting then. The back thing came out of nowhere; I just woke up one morning and fell down.
“Getting old is not for wussies. But the thing then was that I had the flu a few days before and I was dehydrated.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kardashian is “sick” of being kicked out by Blac Chyna.
The 29-year-old television personality fumed to Scott Disick after he was told by his fiancé to leave their house and says he is fed up that it keeps happening.
Speaking in a preview clip for his new reality series ‘Rob & Chyna’, he told pal Scott Disick: “Chyna and I got in a fight so she kicked me out. I’m just gonna let her be and give her her space and I don’t know. This cycle of me being kicked out the house has happened several times and usually I go right back but I’m sick of it so I’m going to stay at my house in Calabasas for a bit. It’s not a good feeling when you get kicked out.”
To which Scott – who has Mason, six, Penelope, four, and Reign, 20 months, with his ex-partner Kourtney Kardashian – replied: “Dude you’re telling me my own life, it happens!”
Meanwhile, the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star has been growing close to the 33-year-old model since he announced he was to become a father as Scott has been giving him baby advice.
Scott said: “I’ve given him some [parenting advice] and we’ve gone over a ton of stuff together. I mean, I’m super excited for him. I think he’s going to be an amazing dad. I’m super excited for that.
“That baby is going to be a big part of my life and my kids’ life, so I’m excited about that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has donated $5,000 to the family of a late fan.
The 26-year-old musician gave the money on Thursday (08.09.16) to a GoFundMe page set up by Kimi Carter whose sister Katie Beth Carter tragically died following a car accident occurred as she was driving back to Jacksonville State University in Alabama after spending Labour Day weekend with her family at home in Georgia. Katie died on Monday (05.09.16) at the age of just 18 from her injuries.
Kimi – who is also a fan of the ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker – took to Twitter to show her appreciation, tweeting: “THIS THIS THIS MEANS MORE THAN ANYONE CAN KNOW … AT MY SISTERS VISITATION & HAD TO WALK OUT BC WOWOW @taylorswift13 (sic)”
The random act of kindness wasn’t the only one performed Taylor either, as on the same day she also spent half an hour speaking to Meghan Hills, who suffers from a congenital heart defect known as pulmonary atresia.
The severity of the 18 year old’s life-limiting condition meant that she had qualified for help from the Dream Foundation, a wish group for terminally ill adults, and had said that her wish was to talk to Taylor.
Her father explained on Facebook: “Meghan wanted a phone call or a video chat with Taylor Swift, but reasoned that she is so popular currently there would be little if any chance of her being reached. Instead she requested a call or video chat with Ellen Degeneres or Jimmy Fallon. We have not heard anything from the Dream Foundation on Meghan’s wishes. If you would be kind enough to share this, my hope is that someone that knows someone will get Meghan one more star under her belt.”
After the post was shared over 2,500 times, Taylor’s management phoned Meghan’s dad and told him to expect a call from the pop megastar.
Meghan posted on Instagram after her chat with the ‘Love Story’ singer saying: “The words thank you will never be enough to say to Taylor Alison Swift for this day and taking the time to video chat with me for 29 mins. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariel Winter has deferred her university entry for one year.
The ‘Modern Family’ actress has been accepted into University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she intends to study political science, but has decided to delay her education because of her hectic work schedule.
She told E! News: “Unfortunately this year, due to production schedule, I have to start next year.
“So I will be starting as a [UCLA] Bruin next year.”
In April, Ariel proudly shared a photograph of her acceptance letter from the prestigious academic institution.
At the time, she wrote on social media: “It’s an AMAZING DAY! I’m going to UCLA- thank you to everyone who has been there for me on this journey! #bruinsbaby (sic)”
Meanwhile, Ariel – who split from her long-term boyfriend Laurent Claude Gaudette earlier this year – has also denied recent rumours claiming she is dating actor Sterling Beaumon.
She explained: “It’s funny, you know? Everyone thinks when a girl walks out with a guy, and they’re friends, immediately it has to be that they’re dating if they spend a lot of time together.
“When really it’s just that people have friends, they see each other.”
The 18-year-old actress admitted she finds the constant speculation about her dating life frustrating.
She said: “I have girl best friends, I have guy best friends.
“I spend all the time with my friends so it’s a stigma that I find kind of irritating that we’re always having to be linked to somebody.
“I say if we’re linked to somebody and we want to talk about it, we’ll talk about it.”
