Angelina Jolie is 'being consoled by Johnny Depp'

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie is reportedly being consoled by Johnny Depp following her split from Brad Pitt.
The 41-year-old mother-of-six starred alongside Johnny in ‘The Tourist’ in 2010 and has apparently turned to the Hollywood star in the wake of her high-profile split from Brad, 52.
A source explained: “Angelina idolised Johnny for years before she worked with him on The Tourist, and then the pair of them really hit it off on set.”
Johnny, 53, is reported to have recommended divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who represented the actor through his divorce from estranged wife Amber Heard, to Angelina following the collapse of her marriage.
An insider told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “The two of them have stayed in touch ever since then, and spoke regularly during the storm that surrounded Johnny’s break up with Amber.
“There’s no suggestion that their closeness played any part in Angelina and Brad’s split. But they have been speaking about the situation, and Angelina hired Johnny’s lawyer to represent her based on the advice that he has given her.
“Her friends are now speculating about what could happen between them if she and Brad are not reconciled and their divorce goes through.”
This comes shortly after Angelina’s father Jon Voight said his daughter is doing “fine”.
However, he expressed concern for her children – Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
He said: “I’m sure she’s doing fine. Listen, I’m concerned about anyone who’s going through tough times… for the family and for the kids.”

Laurence Fox suffered panic attacks since Billie Piper split

OHMYGOSSIP — Laurence Fox has suffered panic attacks since his split from Billie Piper.
The 38-year-old actor ended their eight-year marriage earlier in 2016 and Laurence has admitted the split has taken a significant strain on his wellbeing.
He shared: “The physical symptoms of trauma and suffering are profound panic attacks for an extended period of time, and I’ve never had a panic attack in my life before last year.
“It’s like being plugged into an electric socket where you go mental. I’ve learnt to put on my running shoes and sprint as fast as I can until I can’t move anymore, then there’s something else distracting me and the endorphins kick in and you start to feel better. Thankfully they’re getting less all the time.”
Laurence, who has a seven-year-old son called Winston and a six-year-old son called Eugene, revealed the stress of the situation has caused him to stop sleeping.
He told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “I haven’t slept for six months, even with sleeping pills. I go to bed the same time, same bed as the kids and just lie awake, sleeping two or three hours. My mind’s whirring round.
“I’m seeing an amazing therapist, I love her. You’ve got to seek help, from your family, a therapist, a fitness trainer, whatever it is.
“Family and friends might be the best people for this stuff but they’ve got their own lives. My brother, Robin, has saved me in this whole situation. He saw it all, what I didn’t see, knew what was coming and tried to tell me about it.
“I shouted and got angry with him. But I am my brother’s keeper and will never be able to thank him for how wonderful he’s been to me. He sent me a personal trainer, Darren, three times a week, as a divorce present, and the other two days I train myself.
“I kept going to my marriage guidance counsellor even when we stopped, and she said, ‘You know all the money you’ve got saved for a rainy day? Well its f***ing pouring, so use it’.
“So I live that way at the moment, spending whatever I need to get me through.”

Taylor Swift's treatment of Calvin Harris was 'brutal'

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift’s treatment of Calvin Harris was “brutal”, according to the DJ’s good friend John Newman.
The ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker ended her romance with Calvin in abrupt fashion earlier this year – but the split turned really messy when John tweeted that Taylor had ghost-written Calvin’s hit single ‘This Is What You Came For’, which prompted a public spat between Calvin and Taylor over why she was initially uncredited.
John told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “From her side? Yeah, it did get brutal. I’m like Calvin, happy to take a back seat. I like my music to do the talking.
“When I tweeted that, there was a text almost immediately from Calvin. He was like, ‘Down. Now’.
“And then it all came out anyway. No I’m not [friendly with Taylor any more], I don’t agree with what’s gone on … but I shouldn’t comment further. I wouldn’t know her well enough, weirdly. She’s in another world.”
Despite her split from Calvin, John admitted he remains a fan of Taylor’s music and is sure her next album will be another success, regardless of whether she opens up about the relationship or not.
He said: “I really like her music so they’ll be great songs either way. But I’ve had uncomplimentary things sung about me by exes. You get on with it.”
Meanwhile, John also revealed he is poised to undergo an operation on a brain tumour, which has recently returned after he was initially diagnosed with the problem in 2012.
He shared: “As soon as my tumour came back I said, ‘Right, I’m gonna blitz this out, get myself feeling incredible and get the strength of mind to deal with this’.
“If you go into an op like that feeling s**t because you’re eating s**t food and you’re fat and you’re unhappy with your success and you’re down about it, then it’s gonna hit you like a ton of bricks.
“Calvin is my main inspiration in all of this. The way he got so healthy and inspired and focused, his friendship has been everything to me.
“I’m changing my lifestyle for ever. I want to come back with the best album I’ve ever made.”

Cara Delevingne and Amber Heard 'have been inseparable' at London hotel

OHMYGOSSIP — Cara Delevingne has reportedly been staying at a top London hotel with Amber Heard – even though the model has a place of her own in the city.
The 24-year-old star and the American actress have been virtually inseparable during their stay at the central London location, where Amber has been based while she films her scenes for the new ‘Justice League’ movie.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “They have been seen at the hotel loads and are always very giggly and thick as thieves, out until the early hours.”
The duo are reported to have grown increasingly close since Cara’s relationship with her long-time partner, singer St Vincent, collapsed earlier this year and Amber, 30, divorced actor Johnny Depp in August.
Since then, Cara and Amber have been romantically linked to each other, although neither has commented on the speculation.
Recently, Cara was reported to have secretly ended her relationship with the musician during her promotional tour for her ‘Suicide Squad’ movie after a year-and-a-half of dating.
Although the duo are said to have remained on good terms, it was suggested that their relationship collapsed because of their busy working schedules.
A source previously said: “Cara and [St Vincent] still care about each other, but pressures of the long-distance romance just became too much.
“The cracks were beginning to show on Cara’s birthday in August when [St Vincent] wasn’t there for her party.
“They decided to call it a day but remain pals and are hoping they can work things out as it’s no doubt they really love each other.”
The split also came shortly after Cara revealed how “in love” she was with the musician.
The model-turned-actress previously said: “I’m completely in love. Before, I didn’t know what love was – real love. I didn’t understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world.
“Now I know the meaning of life is love. Whether that’s for yourself or for the world or your partner.”

Gigi Hadid's school car prank

OHMYGOSSIP — Gigi Hadid once built a car on her school’s roof.
The 21-year-old model and her high school classmates pulled together for a memorable group “prank” before they left the facility for good.
She recalled: “I don’t know if you guys have this in the UK, but we have this thing called ‘senior prank’, where in your last year of high school, the entire class gets together and plans a prank.
“We got an old car and rebuilt it on the roof of the school in the middle of the night.
“It wasn’t just me! It was a lot of my guy friends too, and a bunch of people, but yeah, we did that.
“They do different things each year; one class filled the school’s tennis court with sand and brought beach balls and chairs and had a beach party.
“They all showed up in their swimsuits, it was amazing.”
And Gigi – who is dating Zayn Malik – revealed she was the last of her friends to kiss a guy for the first time.
Asked when she had her first kiss, she said: “I wasn’t that young – I think I was like 15 or 16. Everyone was younger than me. I was one of the last ones.”
Gigi used to dream of being a criminal psychologist but thinks her current career is a lot more “fun” than that would have been.
She said: “When I was younger I actually wanted to be a criminal psychologist, which was really strange.
“We have this show called ‘Forensic Files’ in the States, which is not scripted, it’s all the real stuff.
“So that’s what I wanted to do when I was a kid, but I think that was more about just being interested in it. That’s why I went to university [to study criminal psychology]. But I like being a model, it’s a lot more fun.”
The blonde beauty has to travel a lot for her work, so wishes she had the ability to fly.
She told Dazed magazine: “I would want really fast wings that were pretty much teleportation.
“If I didn’t have to go to the airport or get on a plane every day to go to work, I would definitely just fly.”

Sarah Jessica Parker shares daughter fears

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Jessica Parker is “genuinely nervous” about raising two daughters.
The ‘Sex and the City’ star has admitted she’s terrified of her seven-year-old twin girls Loretta and Tabitha growing up in this day and age because children can be so nasty to one another at school.
She explained: “I’m genuinely nervous about raising daughters. It’s not terribly hard yet, thought I expect it will become more so just because I’ve seen girls not be very kind to each other. I’m hoping by the time they’re older, there will be this shift and what will be fashionable will be to be kind to each other. I want them to be good to each other and their friends.”
The 51-year-old actress believes her concerns stem from the fact she was quite “mean” as a child because she was desperate to fit into a certain tribe.
She said: “I’m sure I was mean, I’m sure I said things about people because I wanted to just be part of a tribe. I never liked the feeling, thought. But I think now, with mobile phones, it’s different.
“I understand how you can get caught up in the meanness because you so want to be liked and you want to connect when you’re young.
“It takes a lot of courage to stand up and say, ‘I don’t feel like that’s a friendly choice.’ Little girls are just trying to sort themselves out and they want to feel heard.”
And Sarah and her husband Matthew Broderick – who also have 13-year-old son James together – are determined to do as much as they can to help them “figure” themselves out.
She explained: “It’s hard. As much as we can do to encourage them to trust their own instincts is great and good, but they have to figure it out themselves. It’s scary because you can’t always be with them and you can’t always remind them who their best self is.”

Marilyn Manson wants a 'nice' girl

OHMYGOSSIP — Marilyn Manson wants to date a “nice” girl.
The controversial rocker – who was previously married to Dita Von Teese and engaged to Evan Rachel Wood – admits he is a “wildcat” who is desperate to find someone who understands both his wild rock persona and his real identity, Brian Warner.
Asked his type, he said: “Nice ones. I’ve avoided that – unintentionally – in the past. Not naming anyone and saying that they were mean, but I think I’ve been described as flypaper for crazy women.
“It’s hard to take on that role when I’m so unreasonably unusual to handle. I guess I’m a wildcat. I find myself wanting to locate a girl who is truly nice, and understands both Brian and Marilyn Manson. It’s person and persona, it’s all of it, it’s a handful.
“So, someone who is nice enough and kind enough to deal with that. I’m not sure if they make that sort of person. I’ll let you know if I find out.”
When he does meet a “nice” woman, the 47-year-old rocker won’t be taking them very far on a first date.
He told Dazed magazine: “I don’t really like to share any sort of conversation or intimate moments around strangers in a public environment, so I would say my house.
“Also, that makes it convenient in the event that the date goes south and I have to kill the person. There would be no evidence, no witnesses. I have an incinerator in my backyard.”
But the ‘Rock is Dead’ hitmaker insisted he wouldn’t have ulterior motives in inviting women to his house.
He added: “I don’t put out that easy.”

Quoting the character in the movie, he wrote: “Radio Raheem. Let me tell you the story of Right Hand, Left Hand. It’s a tale of good and evil. Hate! It was with this hand that Cane iced his brother. Love! These five fingers, they go straight to the soul of man. The right hand: the hand of love. The story of life is this: static. One hand is always fighting the other hand, and the left hand is kicking much ass. I mean, it looks like the right hand, Love is finished. But hold on, stop the presses the right hand is coming back. Yeah, he got the left hand on the ropes, now, that’s right. Yea, Boom, it’s a devastating right and Hate is hurt, he’s down. Ooh! Ooh! Left-Hand Hate KOed by Love. If I love you, I love you. Michael Buble sober for four years

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Buble has been sober for four years.
The ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’ singer was diagnosed with Holiday Heart Syndrome four years ago, a condition where his heart rate would soar whenever he got drunk, and he hasn’t drank alcohol since.
He said: “Never drank again. Never again. Not a sip. [It’s been] something like four years… I loved it – I still love it.”
And the Canadian singer admitted his old party lifestyle also contributed to him suffering a vocal haemorrhage, which required surgery, in June.
He said: “I thought a lot about how I would tell this story. The truth is the casual partying and sm… [Smoking?] Whatever…”
But Michael – who has sons Noah, three, and Elias, seven months, with wife Luisana Lopilato – insists his health wasn’t the reason why he gave up alcohol, but rather becoming a parent.
He said: “[I realised] the sense of wanting to be present and not lose the time. I cannot juggle my profession and partying as hard as I did.”
And the 41-year-old singer would rather go sober than drink in “moderation” as he can’t see the point in only having one beer.
He told Event magazine: “There is no moderation for me. I don’t know what moderation is. In my lifetime I never had a beer. Who wants one beer? If my friends go to a restaurant and they order a beer, I’m like, ‘You’re gonna have one?’ Isn’t drinking beer so you can feel a good little buzz and feel happy? It is – or was – heaven.”
Michael finds it helpful to confide in his showbiz friends Robbie Williams and comedian Peter Kay when he has a problem, and is reassured by the fact he and the ‘Angels’ singer can swap stories of being gripped by nerves and anxiety.
He said: “[Robbie] and I talk on the phone and it’s funny when you find out these things you have in common. I’m thinking, ‘Oh my God, if he’s scared and insecure, it’s OK for me to be scared and insecure.’ And to admit that when I’m backstage and about to come on that, no, I’m not so cool, my hands are sweating and I can hear my heart pounding in my ears.
“Another guy I have endless, deep, therapeutic conversations with is Peter Kay.
“He’s just always a really calming voice for me. We talk every three or four months. He’s helped me through a lot of really hard times, the surgery thing and family stuff and being afraid of not knowing how to balance it all.”

Backstreet Boys agreed residency because of Britney Spears

OHMYGOSSIP — Britney Spears persuaded Backstreet Boys to book a Las Vegas residency.
The ‘Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)’ group announced on Friday (23.09.16) they will be performing at the city’s The AXIS Theater at Planet Hollywood from March next year and they discussed the proposal with the ‘Piece of Me’ singer – whose own residency is staged at the same venue – before making a final decision.
Band member AJ McLean explained: “We’ve known Brit for years. Me and Kevin went to see her show earlier this year and right before it started she had me come up to her dressing room to take a selfie with us.
“We started talking and I was asking lots of questions [about her show], ‘How do you like this? Is it cool? Cause we’re trying to do the same thing.’
“She literally said, ‘This is the best job ever!’ She said that it’s hard work, but easy in the sense that you get to be with your family more than when you’re on tour, and have somewhat of a normal life.”
AJ promised the ‘Larger Than Life’ concerts will be “mind blowing” and incorporate some of the most popular elements from the group’s past tours.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “We’re hopefully going to have some of the biggest elements from all of our biggest tours, songs and shows.
“This whole city is about live shows and being over-the-top, so it’s going to be no-holds-barred. It will be the biggest show we’ve ever done in 24 years because it’s fricken Vegas – we gotta go big! We literally want people breathless as they leave.”
And rather than focusing on their upcoming tenth album, the set will largely consist of the group’s biggest hits, as well as solo numbers and acoustic sets.
AJ, 38, even promised he and his bandmates might go topless.
He teased: “I’m in the best shape I’ve been in since before I was 30. So it could happen!”

Fatboy Slim and Zoe Ball split

OHMYGOSSIP — Fatboy Slim and Zoe Ball have split up.
The 53-year-old DJ – whose real name is Norman Cook – and the 45-year-old presenter insist they are still “great friends” but their “exciting adventures together” are now over, 17 years after they tied the knot.
The couple – who have kids Woody, 16, and Nelly, six, together – said in a statement: “With great sadness we are announcing that we have separated.
After many exciting adventures together over the last 18 years we have come to the end of our rainbow.
“We are still great friends and will continue to support each other and raise our beautiful children together, living next door but one.”
Insiders claim the couple had had a number of rows over Zoe’s desire to go out partying.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “There have been a series of arguments, all over the same issue — Zoe wants to go out and have fun, and Norman would rather stay at home.
“His sobriety was incredibly hard-won and he doesn’t want to compromise it.
“Zoe completely understands that, but she is in a very different place. She doesn’t want to be sat on the sofa of an evening having a cup of tea.
“Despite being previously tee-total, she loves a party and will get stuck into a night out.
“Recently they’ve struggled to reconcile their different attitudes and it’s caused a lot of tension.”
Problems are said to have began in August, when they terminated a trip to Ibiza early following a row.
The source added: “There was a row about her drinking and it all came out then. Zoe is supposed to be dry but she has been going out drinking more and more with girlfriends.”
The couple split previously in 2013, but later reconciled.

Michael Palin: Terry Jones dementia is 'painful' to see

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Palin has found Terry Jones’ decline “painful to watch”.
It was revealed on Friday (23.09.16) that the ‘Monty Python’ star has been suffering from a form of dementia known as Primary Progressive Aphasia, which is affecting his ability to communicate, and his pal and comedy co-star thinks his condition is very “cruel”.
He wrote on Facebook: “Terry J has been my close friend and workmate for over fifty years. The progress of his dementia has been painful to watch and the news announced yesterday that he has a type of aphasia which is gradually depriving him of the ability to speak is about the cruellest thing that could befall someone to whom words, ideas, arguments, jokes and stories were once the stuff of life.”
However, the 73-year-old star still meets with his pal regularly and though the 74-year-old comedy legend “doesn’t say very much”, they are still able to connect with one another.
He added alongside a picture of himself and Terry: “Not that Terry is out of circulation. He spends time with his family and only two days ago I met up with him for one of our regular meals at his local pub. Howard Johnson, an American friend of Python, was in town and took this picture.
“Terry doesn’t say very much but he smiles, laughs, recognises and responds, and I’m always pleased to see him. Long may that last.”
Terry’s spokesman revealed his medical condition following Bafta Cymru’s announcement he has been given the special award for outstanding contribution to film and television.
The spokesman said: “Terry has been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia, a variant of the frontotemporal dementia. This illness affects his ability to communicate and he is no longer able to give interviews. Terry is proud and honoured to be recognised in this way and is looking forward to the celebrations.”
Welshman Jones was a key member of the beloved comedy troupe along with Michael, John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Gilliam and the late Graham Chapman.
As well as starring in their sketch show ‘Monty Python’s Flying Circus’, Jones was responsible for directing the feature films ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’, ‘The Life of Brian’ and ‘Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life’.
The surviving members all reunited for 10 live comedy shows, titled ‘Monty Python Live (Mostly): One Down, Five to Go’, at The O2 in London in 2014 with the shows billed as their final ever performances.
Jones lives with his partner Anna Soderstrom and their seven-year-old daughter Siri. He also has two adult children, Sally and Bill, with his ex-wife Alison Telfer.

LL Cool J recalls proposal

OHMYGOSSIP — LL Cool J “sped” in his sports car until his now-wife agreed to marry him.
The ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ star has been happily married to spouse Simone for 21 years and he claims he scared her into accepting his proposal.
Asked if he could remember popping the question, he told ‘Extra’: “I just sped in my Porsche till she said yes. I wouldn’t slow down. I’m serious. I’m telling the truth.”
The 48-year-old star – whose real name is James Smith – previously revealed he splashed out on a dozen luxury cars when he first found fame as a rapper when he was a teenager.
He previously recalled: “When I started out I bought my mother a house and had 10 or 12 cars – BMWs, Benzes, Porsches.”
But these days the star’s “luxuries” are much more modest.
He said: “The luxury I have in my life now is I can buy all the books I want and I can always have brand new trainers on. I remember going to school and having books that were already written in and had pages missing. My thing isn’t money. Don’t get me wrong. I want £10 million right now, today. I’ll take it. But that’s not my sales pitch. I’m not trying to show people how rich I am. But I do like diamonds and nice things.”
He also makes sure he doesn’t overindulge his four kids and he teaches them the value of money and hard work.
LL explained: “I teach them to be grateful and I don’t spoil them. They have things but they won’t ever have everything. I won’t ever overdo it … There has to be something in their lives to strive for and they have to learn the value of creativity. It can’t only be about money because no matter whose child your are the only thing that’s really going to make your life amazing is creativity. If you’re not creating in your life, your life won’t be about anything. I don’t want their life to be about what they can get from me.”

Jon Voight: Angelina Jolie is fine

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie’s father thinks she’s doing “fine”.
The 41-year-old actress filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt – the father of her kids Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – earlier this week and her dad Jon Voight admitted he is “concerned” for his daughter and the rest of her family.
He told TMZ: “I’m sure she’s doing fine. Listen, I’m concerned about anyone who’s going through tough times… for the family and for the kids.”
But the ‘Ray Donovan’ star – who has a strained relationship with his famous daughter – didn’t want to say anything else on the matter.
Asked if he had anything to say to his daughter, he said: “No, no guys. That’s it.”
Jon admitted earlier this week he was shocked by the couple’s split, but felt something “serious” must have happened for his daughter to take steps to end her 12-year relationship.
He told Inside Edition: “It’s very sad. Something very serious must have happened for Angie to make a decision like this.
“I don’t know what it is. It’s a sad thing. Say a little prayer. I am concerned for Angie and the children and hopefully I will be seeing them very soon.”
Whilst Angelina didn’t have too close a relationship with her father, she was incredibly close to her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, who tragically passed away from breast cancer in 2007.
It has been claimed Brad has been left “devastated” by Angelina’s decision, which was reportedly triggered after he had a row with Maddox on a private jet last week.
A source said: “He is beside himself and has been crying. He was completely caught off guard and blindsided and had no idea she would do this.
“Angelina filed the court papers a minute before the courts closed on Monday night. He didn’t have a lawyer or anything. She had threatened divorce in the past but he did not think she would file this time. He is completely devastated and beside himself. He is a shattered man.”

Joel Madden's Snapchat lessons

OHMYGOSSIP — Joel Madden has been getting Snapchat lessons from Kate Hudson.
The Good Charlotte rocker was instructed on the basics of the video-sharing website at the after-party for his wife Nicole Richie’s disco-themed birthday bash on Friday (23.09.16) by his spouse and her actress friend, who is an avid user of the social media site.
Kate documented Joel’s confusion in a number of Snapchat posts, with the 37-year-old rocker asking at one point: “How do you find your profile?”
As Joel – who has children Harlow, eight, and Sparrow, six, with Nicole – added his pal Chris Jericho to his followers, the ‘Almost Famous’ star wrote: “He’s getting it.”
But later, Kate and Nicole jokingly rolled their eyes at Joel’s efforts, and the ‘Fool’s Gold’ star admitted she was getting frustrated.
She wrote: “I need to go home. This is gonna take weeks.”
Earlier in the evening, the group were joined by the likes of Jessica Alba, Rachel Zoe and hairdresser Jen Atkin for Nicole’s 35th birthday party, and the group were documenting their fun on Snapchat, posting videos of them dancing to tracks including
Donna Summer’s ‘I Feel Love’, Diana Ross’ ‘I’m Coming Out’ and Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance with Somebody’.
But the birthday girl – with her hair in curls and wearing a long gold dress – jokingly claimed she was tired of people being preoccupied by their social media accounts as in one video she told her pals to “stop Snapchatting”.
Last month, Joel and Nicole joined a group of celebrity friends to celebrate sister-in-law Cameron Diaz’s birthday with a cooking class.
The ‘Bad Teacher’ actress turned 44 on August 30 and marked the special day by attending the New School of Cooking in Culver City, California, with husband Benji Madden, Joel and Nicole, as well as friend Gwyneth Paltrow and her boyfriend Brad Falchuk.
The group, who dressed casually but had their garments protected by aprons, enjoyed a trattoria-themed class where they learned to produce Italian delights including wild mushroom risotto, salad and tiramisu.
And at the end of the class, Cameron was presented with a yellow birthday cake topped with chocolate frosting and candles as everyone sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to her.

Olivia Wilde having a girl

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Wilde is expecting a baby girl.
The 32-year-old actress is heavily pregnant with her and fiance Jason Sudeikis’ second child – a sibling for their two-year-old son Otis – and she revealed while supporting presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton that she will be welcoming a daughter into the world in the coming months.
She retweeted a video posted by the Democratic candidate and wrote: “As someone who is about to have a daughter, this hits me deep in my core. #NeverTrump (sic)”
The video shows footage of young girls along with sound bites from Republican candidate Donald Trump’s interviews, and ends with the question: “Is this the president we want for our daughters?”
The ‘Vinyl’ actress recently revealed she is raising Otis to be a feminist.
She said: “I like to think he’s already a little feminist. And he is. I want to promote the idea that the definition of feminism is equality and it’s something that’s not difficult to teach children because they are born with that sensibility.
“They are only taught to separate people and value them differently once they get older.”
And Olivia also opened up about her controversial 2014 shoot, where she decided to breastfeed her son for the magazine’s photos.
She added: “I’ve learned a lot about that debate since that photo shoot and certainly since becoming a mother. One thing that is very clear to me is that it should be every individual woman’s choice what she wants to do. But once she makes that choice, she should be publicly permitted to do that in whatever way she needs to. Certainly there should be no pressure on women to breastfeed, or they are made to seem like they are terrible mothers. I think that’s really unfair.
“It was an interesting experience because that photo shoot came out of a very organic moment of having to feed my son because it was just my choice to breastfeed. But I did not in any way intend to shame women who had chosen not to breastfeed for whatever reason. It’s a complex issue, but the one thing that’s not complex is that people should be allowed to breastfeed wherever they want, whenever they want.”
