OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Blunt thinks overcoming a childhood stutter has helped to shape her as an adult.
The 33-year-old actress has admitted that the bullying she suffered as a result of her speech impediment taught her some important life lessons.
She shared: “I think whatever you have to overcome in life ultimately paves the way [for whom you become as an adult].
“I got teased a lot, and to this day, I hate unkindness in people and bullies.”
Emily also revealed she treads a tightrope when it comes to her activity on social media, admitting she does not want to share too much of herself with the public because it could change the way she is perceived.
The ‘Girl on the Train’ star told InStyle magazine: “You’ve got to draw the line somewhere.
“My job is to persuade people that I’m somebody else and allow them to go on that journey with me. If you share too much about yourself, people’s interest becomes about you as opposed to the roles you have played.”
Meanwhile, Emily recently admitted that “everything changed” when she met husband John Krasinski.
Emily and the ‘Office’ actor were introduced through friends in 2008 and she has admitted their relationship enabled her to find her real self.
Emily previously said: “I’ve experienced those moments of feeling less than, where I was just trying to figure how to be a strong person and own who I want to be, but not for a while now, not since I met my husband.
“When I met John, everything changed for me, truly. And I really was emboldened to discover who I really am.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince’s sister Tyka Nelson had been expecting his death for two years.
The 57-year-old musician passed away at his Paisley Park home in April after an accidental overdose of the drug fentanyl but his sibling Tyka says she wasn’t entirely shocked by his sudden death.
Speaking about coping with his death, she told Entertainment Tonight: “It wasn’t hard at all. It was a two-word phone call: ‘He’s gone.’ And I knew who he meant. I hung up the phone. An employee of Prince called. I have been preparing for two years, so I knew that it was coming.”
And Tyka claims Prince alluded to his death two years ago.
She explained: “He said it a couple of years ago: ‘I’ve done everything that I’ve come to do’. I was crushed for about two years.
“I’ve had two years to deal with it, but there’s a lot of people that have only had from April to now, so I guess I would say give it another year and a half and maybe you’ll be where I’m at. I’m sorry that you’re hurting.”
Tyka also revealed that Prince wanted to be remembered for his songwriting talent and she plans to make sure this happens by releasing some of the reported 2,000 songs from his vault.
She said: “He’s written a massive amount of music and in one of our conversations, he said, ‘How I want to be remembered is as one of the most prolific writers in the world’. So I’m going to do everything that I can to make that dream come true.
“We’re going to pull it up and we’re going to remix it and we’re going to get it out.”
Meanwhile, Paisley Park has been turned into a museum and a subsidiary of Graceland Holdings is to start running tours at the complex this month.
Fans will get the chance to look through the main floor of Paisley Park, including the recording studios where Prince recorded and produced some of his biggest hits.
Supporters will also be able to feast their eyes on some of the many awards the late star won, see his concert wardrobe, rare music and video recordings as well as several of his musical instruments.
Bremer Trust – the company overseeing Prince’s affairs – announced the deal with Tyka, who previously said in a statement: “Opening Paisley Park is something that Prince always wanted to do and was actively working on.
“Only a few hundred people have had the rare opportunity to tour the estate during his lifetime.
“Now fans from around the world will be able to experience Prince’s world for the first time, as we open the doors to this incredible place.
“The new Paisley Park museum will offer fans a unique experience, an exhibition like no other, as Prince would have wanted it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West has pulled out of a public appearance scheduled for next week.
The 35-year-old beauty was supposed to join her make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic for a masterclass in Dubai on October 14, but after being robbed at gunpoint in Paris earlier this week, the event will no longer be going ahead.
Mario posted a statement on Instagram which read: “Dear Dubai Masterclass Attendees, On behalf of myself and Kim Kardashian West, please accept our apologies. We are sorry to inform you that due to the recent events, we will be rescheduling the Dubai Masterclass with Kim Kardashian West.
“We understand the inconvenience that this has caused you. You will have the option to cancel and receive a full refund, or we can hold the ticket for the rescheduled date. Rescheduling details will be sent out within the week.
“We deeply and sincerely apologize from the bottom of our hearts. We truly hope you all understand the decision we had to make and look forward to our upcoming class. We will update you via email and TheMasterClass.com. (sic)”
Meanwhile, Kim’s bodyguard, Pascal Douvier – who was out with her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner at the time of the robbery – sparked speculation he had been fired after removing all traces of the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star from his Instagram account.
However, insiders told TMZ that Kim and her husband Kanye West don’t blame him for what happened and still trust Pascal implicitly.
Instead, the security guard removed the pictures as a safety measure in order to prevent any future would-be attackers from contacting him or learning more information about Kim’s whereabouts.
Kim – who has children North, three, and Saint, nine months, with Kanye – was left tied up and locked in her bathroom as she had $10 million worth of jewellery stolen in the terrifying incident.

OHMYGOSSIP — Toni Braxton will return to the stage next week.
The ‘Breathe Again’ singer was recently hospitalised with complications related to her battle with lupus, and though she postponed two upcoming shows in California, she will resume her greatest hits tour on October 12 in Detroit.
She said in a statement: “I am so excited about going back on the road and seeing all of my wonderful fans and friends.
“Everyone’s life is complicated and this is just a condition that I live with.”
Following the news of her health scare, Toni’s representative reassured fans that the 48-year-old singer – who is dating Cash Money Records CEO Birdman – was not in a “serious” condition and has been resting at home.
They said: “Toni is resting at home and she is fine.
“She was in an L.A. hospital for a few days being treated for her lupus.
“She was not in serious condition, though lupus is a serious disease and must be monitored at all times.”
Toni revealed in November 2010 on CBS News that she had been diagnosed with autoimmune disease lupus, which is potentially life-threatening.
Her uncle died of complications from the disease and her brother is also a carrier.
She was hospitalised back in December 2012 due to “minor health issues” related to lupus.
Last year, the ‘Unbreak My Heart’ singer admitted performing when she isn’t feeling well is one of the hardest things about her illness.
She said: “That’s the toughest part, when I have to perform,” she explained. “So often, when it’s like that, it’s a lot of, ‘You sing!’ to the audience, you know. They kind of help me out a little bit without realising it.”
And at the time, she was proud of the fact she’d never had to cancel a show.
She added: “I’ve never done that. Even if I can’t perform, I still figure it out. Sometimes I look back [at] that evening [and] I go, ‘How did I get through that?’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are living in separate houses.
While the pregnant model was seen temporarily kicking her fiancé out of their shared home on Sunday’s (02.10.16) episode of their reality TV show, ‘Rob & Chyna’, it has now reportedly become a permanent arrangement.
A source told Us Weekly: “They think it’s a healthier way to live.”
And it has been claimed that things have turned so bad between the pair, who got engaged earlier this year after a whirlwind romance, that they are now “faking” their relationship for the reality TV cameras and the $2 million payday it brings.
An insider told InTouch magazine: “Rob wanted to make more money even if it meant pretending to be in a loving relationship.
“They are scrambling to hide the truth.
“Chyna wants to make millions from endorsement deals. She’s desperate to be as famous as the Kardashians.”
Meanwhile, it was recently claimed that the future of the couple’s reality TV show is in doubt because of tension between them.
They have reportedly been refusing to shoot scenes together and Rob, 29, is returning to his reclusive ways, leading show bosses at E! to worry that if they signed up for a second series, he would not commit to a full season.
However, TV executives have been hugely impressed with Chyna, 28, and would consider giving her a solo show if Rob doesn’t commit.
The pair have locked horns a number of times on ‘Rob & Chyna’ and it’s thought Rob is struggling to keep up with the filming schedule.
Pregnant Chyna also has three-year-old son King Cairo with her ex-boyfriend Tyga, 26, who is now dating Rob’s half-sister Kylie Jenner, 19.

OHMYGOSSIP — Zoe Saldana says it took her “many years” to learn to say no.
The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star admits it took her some time to realise the importance of declining opportunities as much as accepting them.
Speaking in her YouTube series, Rosé Round Table with Zoe Saldana, she said: “As women, we have to learn to feel extremely comfortable with the word ‘no.’ The word ‘no’ is the most positive term we will ever know as a woman because the moment you wake up as a woman … you’re going to deal with so many more obstacles than man will deal with on an average basis.
“So if you’re not comfortable with the word ‘no’ you’re going to become a very unhappy individual. It took me many years, in my profession, to learn to say ‘no’ not based on privilege, based on principle.”
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old actress – who has 22-month-old twins Cy and Bowie with her husband Marco Perego – previously admitted she “cried every day” when she went back to work after having her children.
She said: “The first week back at work, I think I cried every day in my trailer. But I remember as soon as they would tell me ‘We’re ready for you on set,’ I would still skip to set. I love what I do. You do need to rest, you do need to have a moment to yourself, but right now this is my life as I know it.
“They’re 20 months old, and they’re starting to feel my absence. They still don’t really have an accurate concept of time, but they’re becoming a little anxious. And that’s when you ask people, you ask a therapist ‘Is this normal?’ You read books, you go on Google … But I always explain to them that I come and I go, but Mama has to work. The 29-year-old rapper has gushed about his romance with the ‘Superbass’ hitmaker, admitting he used to wish he could date the singer.
He said: “I wake up in my bed and I just look at Nicki like, ‘Man, this s**t has gotta be a dream because we used to dream all this s**t and it’s just going on right now.’
“I always seen it like this. I always seen it like me having one of the top hustling, prettiest girls in the game. That’s how my account was set up.”
And Meek feels his relationship with Nicki is such a success because they have a lot in common.
Speaking in the latest Noisey Raps documentary, he added: “Where I come from. I can’t just be from the hood and have a total opposite girlfriend, she don’t know nothing about where I come from. She don’t understand me.

OHMYGOSSIP — Drake has been forced to postpone a number of live shows after suffering an ankle injury.
The 29-year-old rapper has taken the doctor’s advice to delay three dates of his Summer Sixteen tour to rest his ankle.
In a message to his fans, he wrote: “The love that my fans aka my family have shown to me on the Summer Sixteen tour has been something I won’t ever forget.
“We are over 50 shows in and I have done everything to power through my recent ankle injury and leave it all out there on the stage every night. I hate to be told I can’t do something. But under doctor’s orders to allow me to recuperate, I am being forced to postpone the intense three shows in a row in cities which have only ever shown me unconditional support.”
And the ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker is particularly disappointed to be cancelling his show in his hometown of Toronto.
He added: “Toronto (my hometown) and Philadelphia (a city that was one of the loudest and showed so much love) are two of the intense three in a row show cycle that will be postponed. I was asked to postpone both Newark shows but I have yet to perform there and so we compromised at one.
“I am crushed to even be typing this announcement because I feel like I am letting my fans in these cities down. I only want to give you the best show you deserve. I promise I will make it up to you. Thank you for your understanding and I can’t wait to see you all again with new music and a stronger ankle.”

The ‘Since U Been Gone’ hitmaker has revealed her eldest child River Rose has a bit of attitude but joked it was to do with “genetics”.
Speaking on Late Night with Seth Meyers, she said: “She is a diva! I’m pretty sure it’s something to do with genetics.”
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old singer – who also has Remington Alexander, 5 months, with her husband Brandon Blackstock – previously admitted she feels “way more empowered” since she became a mother.
She shared: “Having kids cuts out all the bulls**t in the sense that I don’t have time to do stuff I don’t want to do anymore. I don’t have time to make you feel like it was your idea. I just don’t have time for it anymore, so it definitely cuts through the bulls**t and you just go straight for what you want …
“It sounds so cheesy, but I feel way more confident, way more empowered and way more like I’ve got this. You just have so much going on all the time, especially because I’m a working mom – so many moving parts and so much navigation – that I just feel like I can do anything. I feel like the head of the village.”
And having children is “very inspiring” for Kelly.
She added: “Being a mom is very inspiring. You don’t think it’s going to be because you’re so busy but it’s such a different world becoming a mother. It sounds like such a tool statement that every mom says, but it’s just a different thing to mold a child’s life.
“You feel very responsible, but there’s also the magical elements that you forget because you’re an adult. You forget how simple things like lights and fans can be so magical to them, so we definitely tried to capture that in the book.”

The ‘Loyal’ hitmaker praised his two-year-old daughter Royalty for giving him a “purpose”.
Sharing a picture of them both, he wrote: “I’m happy that I took responsibility to be a father and This little lady has given me strength, unconditional love, and most of all PURPOSE.
“Ignorant people would label me homophobic, WOMAN BEATER, trouble maker. I’ve been through hell and back to jail and back. I refuse to crumble. I STAND LOVE YOU RORO. (sic)”
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old star previously admitted he feels very “humbled” to have a daughter.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West’s neighbours didn’t hear her cries for help.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star was tied up and locked in her bathroom whilst thieves stole expensive jewellery from her Paris apartment on Monday (03.10.16) but forensic testing on the house hasn’t come up trumps yet.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: “They did not hear a thing when she was screaming for help.
“Forensic enquiries have also been carried out, but as yet there is no useful DNA evidence.”
Meanwhile, it was previously revealed that the 35-year-old television personality was “hysterical” when she called her husband Kanye West to tell him about the robbery ordeal.
An insider said: “Kim was terrified. She was just hysterical when she talked to Kanye. He said she was really upset and it took him a few seconds to understand what she was saying to him.
“He wanted to get to her as soon as he could. He told her that he couldn’t care less about the jewellery; he’s just thankful that she’s okay.
“She’s always known the threats are out there, but for something to happen, it’s almost unimaginable. It’s going to take her a very long time to feel safe again.”
A spokesperson confirmed what had happened to Kim, but insisted she was “physically unharmed”.
They said: “Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Brad Pitt wants a private custody battle.
The ‘Fury’ star is currently in the middle of a messy divorce from his estranged wife Angelina Jolie and the ‘Maleficent’ actress is said to have been “super aggressive” about the fight for physical custody of their six children.
A source told Entertainment Tonight: “Pitt wants to handle this privately. Whatever is best for the kids, not for him, is what matters. Angelina has been super aggressive. The different things that needed to happen are happening.”
Meanwhile, it was previously claimed that the 52-year-old actor – who has Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight, with Angelina -has been left “completely devastated” by his divorce.
An insider shared: “He is beside himself and has been crying. He was completely caught off guard and blindsided and had no idea she would do this.
“Angelina filed the court papers a minute before the courts closed on Monday night. He didn’t have a lawyer or anything. She had threatened divorce in the past but he did not think she would file this time. He is completely devastated and beside himself. He is a shattered man.
“He’s extremely upset. But he is totally focused on just being helpful and making sure his kids are doing as well as possible.”
And a source previously claimed that Brad was “committed” to making his marriage work.
They said: “Brad did not want the marriage to end. He was committed to doing what he needed to make it work. He was open to therapy.

The ‘Total Bellas’ star has revealed she is expecting her first child with her husband Daniel Bryan.
She shared: “It has always been a dream of mine to become a mother. Now that it is finally real, it fills me up with so much happiness. I can’t wait to see my husband, Bryan, be a father to our child. I am so excited for this new chapter in our lives.”
Whilst Daniel added to E! News: “The day we found out, I just couldn’t stop smiling. We are so excited to be parents. Every time I look at Brie’s stomach, I’m amazed that there is a little life in there.”

The ‘Frozen’ star feels it is important for her and her ex-husband Taye Diggs to prioritise their seven-year-old son Walker despite their split.
She said: “Your child comes first, that’s all. It’s all about that. He comes first and you have to get past your own egos and you never talk bad about each other.”
And with all the horrible things going on in the world, the 45-year-old actress and singer is conflicted whether she should explain to her son what is going on.
She added to People Now: “It’s hard to know what’s age-appropriate as far as educating your child and how much to teach him about what’s out there, and that there are bad people out there and there are people who don’t like other people. You want to keep him insulated and safe and not ruin his perspective of the world.”
Meanwhile, Idina previously admitted her divorce has taught her not to be so hard on herself.
She said: “You learn to try to not be so hard on yourself. You have a lot of regret with a child, feeling like you’re failing them in some way and not giving them the idealistic scenario.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson nearly “died” from embarrassment when she got President Obama’s name wrong.
The ‘Breakaway’ hitmaker first met the US leader at an event when he was just a junior senator but was left red faced when she stumbled over his name.
Speaking on Late Night with Seth Meyers, she said: “I get up there, complete panic sets in because I can’t remember what that fake Grammy is called, I can’t remember what the book is because it had just come out … And I can’t remember his name, but I am pretty sure it rhymes with ‘sama’.
“I completely butchered it, I literally had the mic, after I just nailed it, and I’m like … [mumbles nonsensical words]. I swear to God, I wanted to die. I wanted to fall down and pretend I had a stroke – I would’ve faked some horrible thing.”
And the 34-year-old singer is not the only celebrity to be left embarrassed following a meeting with the world leader.
Blake Lively recalled: “I met Obama and I had my whole speech planned. He was introducing himself to everyone and they were talking about the way that they were gonna change the world. He came to me and I was just like ‘I … Hope!’ It was just like me summoning hope for myself, it was awful.
“The only thing I could think of was that he’d left my husband a voicemail when he was running for president. So I said, ‘You left my husband a voicemail!’ And he was like, ‘…Cool!’ And I said, ‘And he deleted it!’ It was just like, why did I say that? It got worse! OHMYGOSSIP — John Legend says fatherhood has “humbled” him.
The ‘All Of Me’ hitmaker and his wife Chrissy Teigen welcomed their daughter Luna into the world in April and he has seen his priorities shift since his wife gave birth.
He told the new issue of Notion magazine: “I think it shifts your priorities a bit, gives you a new perspective. You realise what’s important for you, for your family and for your career. It just takes over your life when you have a child …
“I spent a lot of time at home with her for the first three months and with my wife, you know, it just humbles you. I think everyone struggles with being a new parent, everyone’s trying to figure it out and I think it’s a humbling process.”
Meanwhile, the 37-year-old singer previously admitted he is full of “pretty powerful emotions” since Luna arrived.
He said: “You never know what it’s going to feel like until it happens, but you know, I was excited. And this wasn’t an accident, this was something that we have been working on and [we’ve been] trying to have a family for a while.
“Knowing that it was so important to us, I was pretty excited from the beginning, but once she came out and she was actually a real thing that we could hug and love and see her develop, it’s pretty powerful. It is a pretty powerful emotion to see the product of your love right there in front of you.
“You will see in here the influence on the next album of me having a kid. I couldn’t help but write about her. I was writing songs about her before she was born, just because I was so inspired [about] just the fact that Chrissy got pregnant. So, I think it inspired one of the most beautiful songs in the album, and so hopefully that people will love it.”
