OHMYGOSSIP — Phil Collins went “hell for leather” working on a song for Adele.
The ‘Against All Odds’ hitmaker worked with the ‘Someone Like You’ singer on a track but admits he found it difficult to stay in contact with her.
He said: “Adele approached me and in my dark years when I didn’t really pay much attention to what was going on, when I was drinking myself to death. I didn’t know who Adele was so she called me and asked me if I wanted to write to her … She’d had two albums out by this point and sold billions of records.
“She was lovely, we met in London and she gave me a piece of music to finish which I went hell for leather to finish but then she got a bit difficult to find and then it was because she had just had a baby and it was a little bit early I read later … I didn’t have a phone number I just had an email address and I tried to stay in touch.”
And the 65-year-old singer admits he was very nervous about launching a solo career to begin with but soon got “more comfortable” with it.
Speaking about his first concert as the main singer on ITV’s The Jonathan Ross Show, he said: “It was a bit terrifying. We were playing in London, Ontario, Canada and it was a given that I could sing the songs, I’d done the album and I’d sung backup with Peter [Gabriel] on older songs but I was more terrified about what to talk about between songs because Peter had this thing, he would tell these funny stories, surreal stories and that really wasn’t me … I eventually kind of finessed it a bit. I got more comfortable with it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Daisy Ridley has praised her fellow ‘Star Wars’ actress Felicity Jones as a “phenomenal actress”.
The 24-year-old British starlet has achieved global fame playing Rey in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ but she insists she didn’t need to pass on any words of advice to her ‘Star Wars’ alumni Felicity for her role as Jyn Erso in upcoming spin-off film ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’.
Speaking to People at the New York premiere of new documentary ‘The Eagle Huntress’ – which Daisy produced – on Thursday (20.10.16), she said: “Felicity needs no advice – she is a phenomenal actress and a wonderful human being. She is very graceful and poised and probably speaks far less than I do more interestingly. She’s great!”
And Daisy also revealed that Felicity, 33, is a “super cool person” outside of their shared sci-fi universe.
She added: “We hung out a couple weeks ago and it was really, really nice. She’s just a super cool person, even away from ‘Star Wars’.”
The news comes after Daisy recently revealed she didn’t give Felicity any “tips” when they met up on set, as she claims ‘The Theory of Everything’ star already had “everything nailed”.
She shared: “Oh God, I didn’t give her tips. She’s like a proper human being. She’s got everything nailed … We just talked about our filmmaking experiences. And I’ve been a huge fan of hers for a long time. Have you ever met her? She’s so great. So just to chill was really nice.”
Daisy is “very excited” to see ‘Rogue One’, and thinks she’ll be “blown away” just like every other cinema goer.
She said: “I’m very excited to see it … I don’t know [if I see any similarities between the characters]. That’ll be interesting when I watch it. But I don’t watch things and think in that way. So I think I’m just gonna watch it and be blown away.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen has hit out at “mummy shamers” after she was told she was holding her daughter incorrectly.
The 30-year-old model is mother to six-month-old Luna – who she shares with husband John Legend – and has taken to Twitter to blast those who judge her parenting skills.
When one fan tweeted a picture of Chrissy carrying her daughter and said “this is not how a baby is held”, she fumed back: “Really because that’s how I’m f***ing holding her.”
She then posted a follow-up tweet which read: “Photos are literally split-second moments in time that evolve. I despise mommy shamers. I am a proud shamer of mommy shamers. (sic)”
And the onslaught of tweets didn’t stop there, as she then received another tweet that claimed she was holding Luna in an “incorrect” way.
The tweet read: “There are incorrect ways to hold infants whether shielding her from a fire or pap! (sic)”
Chrissy simply responded: “Please, do shut up.”
The news comes just a few weeks after the beauty made her Twitter account private, claiming she wasn’t “strong enough” to allow the whole world to see her tweets. Now, only those users she has approved are able to see her updates.
Asked if she had made her account private, she tweeted: “Yeah. Not strong enough anymore. It’s not haters or trolls or generally mean people. I just feel like I am absorbing bad s**t 24/7. My body and mind cannot handle it anymore.”
The ‘Sports Illustrated model’ previously admitted she is jealous of her 2.13 million followers because she wishes she could follow herself.
She wrote: “I am the best follow I know. I am jealous I’m not me and can’t feel what it’s like to follow me.

OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s ex-husband Jean-Bernard wants her to return his late mother’s ring following the finalisation of their divorce on Thursday (20.10.16).
The former couple were handed a decree nisi, which is a legal order confirming the date on which a marriage will end, in just 14 seconds at the Central Family Court in London yesterday morning and, although it’s thought the pop star will keep all of her estimated £20 million fortune, the restaurateur is demanding his lavish jewel back.
A source told the MailOnline: “He gave her the jewellery to celebrate 12 months together. It belonged to his mother. It is now the ten-year anniversary of her death and he desperately wants it back, but Cheryl still hasn’t posted it and has made no effort to return it. He is pretty upset and would like it back.”
However, a friend of the 33-year-old beauty is adamant she isn’t deliberately withholding the precious ring and has just simply forgotten to return it to him.
An insider explained: “Since they split up last year, Cheryl has not worn it.
“She put it in a safe and totally forgot about it because he has never asked her for it.
“Cheryl finds it very weird that this has just come to light now but she will send the ring over to her lawyers immediately.”
The ‘Call My Name’ hitmaker filed for divorce shortly after their split in August last year and, according to the court documents obtained by The Sun newspaper, she blamed the French hunk for her dramatic weightloss during their 18-month marriage.
The brunette star – who will now be known as just Cheryl – claimed her now ex-husband’s “unreasonable behaviour” caused her “stress” and affected her health.
The pair tied the knot on Macaroni Beach in Mustique on July 7, 2014, following just three months of dating after meeting at the Cannes Film Festival in France.
A few months after they split, Cheryl began dating One Direction star Liam Payne, 23, and the loved-up pair are now said to be expecting their first child together.

It has been claimed that the ‘Empire State of Mind’ hitmaker only “tolerated” the ‘Famous’ star as he prefers to be away from the spotlight unlike the 39-year-old rapper.
A source said: “Jay can’t stand him. He looks at him as this crazy, eccentric motherf ***er he can tolerate in small doses. Kanye is a nut job. Everyone knows that.
“He tolerated him [because] there was so much money to be made. Jay was like, ‘I’m gonna knock this out. We’re going to do a tour to bring in millions of dollars. I can tolerate that.’
“The reality is that Jay doesn’t want that much to do with him. He likes his own space and is private. They’re very much not the same person. Jay’s immediate circle is very insular, and Kanye is just a guy who always wants something in the spotlight.”
The comments come after Kanye went on a rant on stage, where he appeared to slam the 46-year-old rapper.
He said: “Don’t call me after the robbery and say, ‘How you feeling?’ You wanna know how I’m feeling? Come by the house … Bring the kids by the house like we brothers … Our kids ain’t never even played.”
He also insisted there would never be a second collaborative album between the pair “because of some Tidal/Apple bullsh**t”.
However, a source close to Kanye claims that Jay Z understands and accepts Kanye’s “passions and eccentricities”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Underwood has found it “difficult” to juggle her career with motherhood.
The 33-year-old singer songwriter – who has 20-month-old son Isaiah with her husband Mike Fisher – has admitted she plans to take some time out of her busy schedule to celebrate the upcoming festival Halloween with her child, because she finds it hard when her “professionalism and mommyhood collide”.
Speaking to E! News about parenting, the blonde beauty said: “I’m not going to lie, it’s difficult when professionalism and your mommyhood collide – which is on a daily basis – but it’s wonderful.
“It’s like bring your baby to work every day. He’s just there, and it’s great he’s on the bus and helping me get ready. It might make things take a little longer, but he’s just my little sunshine. He makes me happy all day.
“[But] I’ve blocked off some time to be able to take him trick-or-treating a little bit and got him a costume and everything.”
And the ‘Before He Cheats’ hitmaker has admitted she feels “guilty” her son’s life has to revolve around her job, which sees them spend hours on a tour bus and stay in a variety of hotel rooms “in the middle of nowhere” when she is on tour.
She explained: “Sometimes I feel guilty that this is my son’s life: We live on a bus and we’re in a hotel room and sometimes we’re in the middle of nowhere and it’s not so great. It’s not all glamorous.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Shailene Woodley has penned a letter about her trespassing arrest.
The 24-year-old actress was taken into custody on October 10, when she and 100 others were protesting on the construction site of the Dakota Access Pipeline, which would harm the drinking water for a nearby Native American tribe if completed.
The ‘Divergent’ star has now written a letter for Time Magazine entitled ‘The Truth About My Arrest’ in which she calls out Americans for not respecting Native American culture, and urges more people to help protest the pipeline plans.
She wrote: “We wear their heritage, their sacred totems, as decoration and in fashion trends, failing to honour their culture. Headdresses, feathers, arrows. Moccasins, sage, beadwork. You know what I’m talking about, Coachella.
“Treaties are broken. Land is stolen. Dams are built. Reservations are flooded. People are displaced. Yet we fail to notice. We fail to acknowledge. We fail to act.”
‘The Fault in Our Stars’ actress was one of 26 protestors to be arrested, but has revealed the issue with the pipeline was only brought to attention when she herself was arrested.
She explained: “So much so that it took me, a white non-native woman being arrested on Oct 10th in North Dakota, on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, to bring this cause to many people’s attention. And to the forefront of news publications around the world. The day I was detained, 26 others had to dress in orange as well, as they were booked into the Morton County jail. Did you hear about them?”
The star continued to thank people for their support, and to urge them to keep fighting.
She said: “I appreciate all of you out there who supported me while I was arrested. I am humbled and grateful for your love, your prayers and your hashtags.
“Thank you, to all the tribes who have gathered. To all the nations standing as one. To all the people who know that if not we, then who? And if not now, then when? Simply feeding off the hype of a celebrity’s arrest ain’t going to save the world. But, standing together will. OHMYGOSSIP — Brie Bella is expecting a baby girl.
The 32-year-old professional wrestler first announced she was expecting her first child with husband Daniel Bryan at the start of this month, and she has now revealed the child will be a girl.
Speaking to E! News, she said: “When I found out it was a girl I actually got really emotional. I have such an amazing relationship with my mom and I think, wow, I’m going to have that with my daughter. Also as a woman I now have my own blood to follow my legacy. It’s such a special feeling! My mini me!”
And Daniel – who is the general manager of TV show ‘SmackDown’ – added: “I’m so excited we’re having a little girl. I’m sure that, just like her mother, she’s going to steal my heart.”
The news will come as a pleasant surprise for the star’s sister Nikki, as she previously said she wanted her sister’s baby to be a girl.
Nikki, also 32, said: “I hope it’s a girl and it’s exactly like me!”
The ‘Total Bellas’ stars previously gushed about how excited they were to be expecting a baby together.
Brie said: “It has always been a dream of mine to become a mother. Now that it is finally real, it fills me up with so much happiness. I can’t wait to see my husband, Bryan, be a father to our child. I am so excited for this new chapter in our lives.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Benedict Cumberbatch’s wife is pregnant with their second child.
The 40-year-old actor and his spouse Sophie Hunter, who already have 16-month-old son Christopher Carlton Cumberbatch together, are set to add another little one to their brood, according to E! News.
The ‘Sherlock’ star – who married his partner in a private ceremony on February 14 last year on the Isle of Wight, England – left the news-breaking to his representative who announced the couple were expecting their first child merely two months after the pair got engaged.
In a statement declaring the news of their firstborn, it read: “Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son. We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during these next few precious weeks.”
Following the news Benedict’s co-star on ‘The Imitation Game’ movie, Allan Leech, admitted he thought the dark-haired hunk would be the “greatest dad of all time”.
Speaking previously about Benedict and fatherhood, Allan said: “If he puts the same amount of dedication and love into raising his child as he does into his work, he is going to be the greatest dad of all time.
Meanwhile Benedict has credited ‘Doctor Strange’ for “getting him through” the early days of parenthood, and has admitted sleepless nights didn’t affect him too much as he’d grown accustomed to getting up at 4am in order to work out for his titular role in the upcoming Marvel blockbuster.
Speaking previously about the early morning workouts, he said: “That actually got me through being a first time father. I say that as if I was the one getting up. Sophie really was incredibly for the first few months.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Azealia Banks won’t take legal action against Russell Crowe.
The 25-year-old rapper was previously said to have filed a police report following an alleged incident in the 52-year-old actor’s hotel room in Beverly Hills at the weekend, during which she claims he “choked” her and “spat” at her before throwing her out of the room, but she has now decided not to take the matter further because she just wants to focus on her music and not let her career be overshadowed by scandal.
She told Us Weekly magazine: “Realistically, to be honest, I really don’t want to. Because I just don’t want this in the media. I want my music out. I just want to f***ing put my music out.
“I just want my music to shine. I don’t want to be dealing with another episode, another thing, another whatever.”
Despite a number of sources, including producer RZA disputing Azealia’s account of what happened and insisting she was at fault, the ‘212’ hitmaker insists she does want an apology from the ‘Noah’ star.
She said: “[Russell] feels that he did nothing wrong, so I’m just like, OK, if you want to pay a bunch of litigators and a bunch of people to apologise to me, then I guess that’s what you want to do.
“You could apologise to me for free now and make this all go away.”
While it has been reported Azealia was behaving “erratically” and threatened to harm Russell’s guests, she insists that wasn’t the case – and if she had been, the actor should have had the “sense” to get security guards to remove her from his suite, rather than personally eject her.
She said: “Even if I were being erratic, you should have enough sense to have me escorted out properly and keep your hands and your spit to yourself.”
This isn’t the first time Azealia – who was banned from Twitter this summer over offensive remarks she made towards Zayn Malik – has been embroiled in controversy and she insists she isn’t worried about clearing her name in the row with Russell as her reputation is “already f***ed”.
She added: “Even if I were proven to be telling the truth in this situation, people have built their case up against me, and honestly I don’t have the care or the time to try and fight millions … like, I can’t fight the whole world.

OHMYGOSSIP — Vince Neil won’t be jailed for attacking an autograph hunter.
The former Motley Crue rocker was accused of lashing out at a woman on April 7, grabbing her by the hair and pulling her to the ground outside the Aria hotel in Las Vegas, and his lawyers, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, represented him in court on Wednesday (19.10.16) to enter a guilty plea on a charge of misdemeanour battery.
According to TMZ, the 55-year-old star – who could have faced a six-month jail term – will have to pay $1,000 and spend six months on informal probation, as well as undergo impulse control counselling.
The unnamed victim has also sued Vince for at least $150,000 and that case is still pending.
The incident sparked a row between Vince and his friend Nicolas Cage, who had been having lunch together when it took place.
After the altercation, the pair walked out of the hotel, and the actor could be seen trying to calm down his pal.
Nicolas was heard shouting: “Stop this s**t now”, before trying to restrain Vince.
He then soothed him, saying: “You’re OK, I love you.”
It was previously reported that the woman – who had approached the ‘Face/Off’ star for an autograph – had been “left stunned, and suffered a sore neck … as well as pain in her lower back and hip” after Vince allegedly grabbed her by the hair from behind and pulled her to the ground.
The ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’ singer has a long history of legal troubles, including being sentenced to 30 days in jail in 1984 after being charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol following a car accident which killed Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas ‘Razzle’ Dingley.
He was arrested in 2002 for punching record producer Michael Schuman and sentenced to community service, and the following year pleaded no contest to battery charges relating to the alleged assault of a sex worker.
In 2004, an arrest warrant for misdemeanour assault was issued for Vince after a fight during a show left a soundman unconscious.
He was sentenced to 15 days jail and 15 days house arrest for drunk driving in 2010, and the following year paid a $1,000 fine after accepting a plea deal for misdemeanour disorderly conduct following an altercation with former girlfriend Alicia Jacobs.

OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna has splashed out $400,000 on a new car.
The ‘Rob & Chyna’ star – who has a four-year-old son, King Cairo, with ex-partner Tyga and is due to give birth with her first child with fiance Rob Kardashian next month – splashed out on a luxurious Rolls Royce on Wednesday (19.10.16) afternoon.
Chyna has been showing off her new wheels on Snapchat, posting video of herself cruising in the vehicle with the radio on and also posing in the parked car.
And the 28-year-old beauty thinks the white vehicle, which has a purple-trimmed interior, is the perfect complement to the Lamborghini Rob previously bought for her.
She told TMZ: “It’s lovely right? Seeing as I have my purple Lamborghini, I wanted to match [with the interior]. It’s a limited edition.”
However, Chyna may also be considering buying another car in the future as she admitted her new vehicle isn’t the most family friendly.
Asked the best baby features about the car, she simply laughed and covered her face.
Chyna – whose real name is Angela Renée White – previously admitted she wanted to gain “100lbs” during her pregnancy, but she plans to follow a “strict” eating and fitness regime as soon as she gives birth to her second child, which is due on November 16.
Speaking previously, Chyna said: “My goal is to gain, like, 100 pounds this pregnancy. I’m gonna tear it up, then I’m gonna snap back. Strict diet, waist training, detox tea and working out.”
The make-up artist has regularly shared updates about her weight gain on social media app Snapchat, and she still has a long way to go to reach her target, as she shared less than two weeks ago that she’s put on 50lbs during her pregnancy so far.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruce Springsteen’s dad insisted he cut his hair before receiving medical treatment after a motorcycle accident.
The 67-year-old rocker sported a lengthy do in homage to his heroes The Beatles during the 1960s, much to his father Doug’s displeasure.
And after the ‘Born to Run’ hitmaker was involved in a crash when he was 17, his dad insisted he had his locks chopped as he was concerned doctors would refuse to treat him otherwise.
Discussing how Doug reacted after the crash, Bruce said: “He called the barber.
“I went to the hospital, there were doctors who once they basically mended you, refused to treat you after that because your hair was long, it’s insane.
“My dad was deeply embarrassed by the way his son looked so decided, ‘We gotta get you to the barbers so we can get you to the doctor’, but I was screaming bloody murder [as they cut it].”
Bruce was always proud that his “symbolic” hair style demonstrated his allegiance to his favourite group, and insisted it was a brave look to sport as not everyone looked kindly on it.
Speaking to BBC Radio 2’s Simon Mayo, he said: “There’s not as much [hair] now, there used to be more. It was so symbolic, it’s hard to express.
“I think the nearest thing would be when the punk revolution hit and the kids with the mohawks, that was the last time you could physically distinguish yourself as part of a new philosophy, previous to that it was 64 when the Beatles – who now look quite conservative on the cover of that first record – outraged people, they were like ‘Are you gay?’
“That’s what my father asked when I grew my hair an inch and he wasn’t kidding.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West has blasted Jay Z in a furious onstage rant.
The 39-year-old rapper previously worked with the ’99 Problems’ hitmaker on their 2011 album ‘Watch the Throne’, and they subsequently toured together, but he insists there won’t be a follow-up album because of conflicts between Apple – which has a close relationship with Drake – and Jay’s own streaming service Tidal.
Launching into Drake’s song ‘Pop Style’, on which he originally had a verse, he told the audience in Seattle: “Let me tell y’all something. There will never be a ‘Watch The Throne 2’. That’s the reason I wasn’t on this song.
“I wasn’t on the song cause of Hov. ‘Cause of some Tidal/Apple bulls**t. And that s**t be getting me tight every time I perform this motherf***er.
“I start freestylin’ to it. Jay thought of a couple lines, I said, ‘Man, just go ahead and throw that on there, [Drake] would be so surprised he probably wouldn’t expect you to be on there. And we sent it back to him. And he was like, ‘Oh s**t, the Throne is on this s**t.’ Then Jay thought about it, and out of respect for Meek Mill he didn’t want to be on the track. And I said, ‘Look, I’ll call Drake, I’ll call Meek, I’ll call y’all, we gotta squash this s**t, we gotta let people have this song.’ But then it went into some political s**t, some s**t about percentages on songs.”

OHMYGOSSIP — RZA has slammed Azealia Banks as an “obnoxious erratic individual”.
The 47-year-old producer admits he was horrified by the way the ‘212’ hitmaker behaved when she accompanied him to a dinner party in Russell Crowe’s hotel suite earlier this week, claiming she physically lashed out at a fellow guest, prompting the ‘Noah’ actor to throw her out of the room.
Despite Azealia’s claims Russell had choked her and called her the n-word, RZA insists that isn’t the case, though he did confirm to TMZ that he had spat at her.
He also wrote on Facebook: “Before the night is over Azealia is insulting half the room she becomes loud and obnoxious.
“There was nothing funny about her behavior. I felt a little embarrassed because she was my guest.
“Still verbal abuse can be tolerated but when it goes physical…
“Azealia threaten to cut a girl in the face with a glass, then actually grabs a glass and physically attacks for no logical reason.
“Russell blocked the attack and expelled her from the suite.
“Seeing is believing and I saw her behave as an obnoxious erratic individual and in the circles I frequent this was unprecedented.

RZA revealed Azealia had turned to him for “economic help” a few weeks ago and he obliged with her request to help her secure a record deal – but was unimpressed when she announced he had signed her up before any paperwork had been made official.
He also posted: “A few weeks ago Azealia hit me up for some economic help and bong I gave a helping hand.
“She then followed up asking me to help her get a record deal.
“I called a friend and bong a record deal was on the table. “The only clause my buddy gave was I be the filter because the word is “she is volatile”.
“I called her and told her a deal was in the workings. She immediately, prematurely went to social media and claimed she signed a deal with RZA Yet no deal was signed.
“I didn’t respond or comment to her post because I’m not the type to stop the hustle.
“I actually wanted her to win.
“I advised her to stay focus, leave social media and tabloids alone and let your music and art do your talking.”
The 25-year-old rapper has branded Russell a “misogynist pig” and claims she feels “mishandled” and “mistreated” following the alleged altercation.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kris Jenner felt “abandoned” by Kim Kardashian West when she styled Caitlyn Jenner for the ESPYs.
A teaser trailer for the upcoming midseason premiere of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ showed the 60-year-old matriarch branding her daughter a “traitor” for agreeing to help her stepparent – who was known as Bruce while married to Kris before undergoing a gender transition – and now a full promo clip saw the 35-year-old beauty labelled “disloyal” by her mother.
In the footage, Khloé Kardashian told Kim: “Mom is like, fuming with you. She was texting me with hashtags — she goes, ‘#Disloyal.’ … She thinks you’re a traitor and she thinks that you went against the family with Caitlyn. She’s p***ed.”
While Kim rolled her eyes at the news, they decided to call Kris to work things out.
However, Kris ranted: “Kim, you are a f***ing traitor. That you would have the nerve to go to help Caitlyn to pick a gown — like, what is going on?”
While her daughter tried to defend herself, explaining Caitlyn had had a “fashion emergency” and that as far as she knew, things were “all good” between the former couple.
Kris replied: “That’s what you don’t get! I don’t say anything to you until I feel abandoned. And right now, I’m feeling abandoned.”
But the brunette beauty insisted: “Mom, I would never abandon you. If I even knew that you really thought…”
She was cut off by her mother, who said: “But you abandoned me! You’ve taken somebody else and said, ‘OK her feelings don’t matter.’ ”
Kim insisted she didn’t think her mother “would care” and, in a bid to calm the situation, promised that in future she would “try to stay neutral and not get involved.”
However, her words didn’t go down well and Kris burst into tears, insisting she needed Kim’s “loyalty”.
She said through her tears: “I don’t want you to be neutral. From my children I gave birth to, I want loyalty.
“I don’t want f***ing neutral. Neutral isn’t what I signed up for. That’s what you don’t get.
“I’m trying to be as understanding as I can. I’m betrayed. I’ve been f***ed over on so many levels that your head would spin.”
As Kim – who has children North, three, and Saint, 10 months, with husband Kanye West – and Khloé exchanged shock glances, Kris insisted she wouldn’t back down.
She told them over the phone: “I’m not going to play this f***ing game anymore. OK?!”
