OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West has seen a therapist every day since she was gagged and robbed at gunpoint in Paris last month.
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star – who has kept a low profile since the horrific ordeal in France – has been having daily counselling sessions to help her get over the incident because she keeps experiencing flashbacks and nightmares.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: “She’s [Kim has] been having nightmares and flashbacks. She’s talking to a therapist every day, usually via Skype [online video], phone or in person.”
The 36-year-old beauty is refusing to leave her home in Los Angeles, which she shares with her husband Kanye West and their two children North, three, and Saint, 11 months, and has cancelled all of her public appearances since the robbery.
Kim – who is an avid user of social media – has also been inactive on her Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat account over the past four weeks and has asked her friends and family members to take it in turns to control her website and app.
Although she’s largely stayed indoors over the past month, Kim did step out for frozen yogurt with her best friend Jonathan Cheban on October 24, before attending her husband Kanye’s ‘Saint Pablo’ concert in Los Angeles a few days later.
She also made an appearance at her half-sister Kendall Jenner’s 21st birthday party last week but hired three off-duty police officers to keep an eye on her during the bash.
The brunette beauty’s decision to hire officers came days after she reportedly sacked her personal guard Pascal Duvier.
Kim and Kanye decided to “let go” of the bodyguard after he failed to protect her from the robbers, who stole jewellery from her worth an estimated $8.5 million, because he was looking after her sister Kourtney Kardashian at the time instead.
The decision no doubt infuriated Pascal as he’s protected the businesswoman since 2013 and her husband since 2012.

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price has undergone laser eye surgery.
The 38-year-old former glamour model – who has worn glasses for most of her life – underwent the delicate procedure on Wednesday (09.11.16) to help restore her 20/20 vision.
Taking to her Instagram account prior to her consultation, the blonde beauty wrote alongside a shot of her specs: “Omg today is finally here goodbye contact lenses Goodbye glasses, hello laser eye surgery with@opticalexpressuk X (sic)”
Although the surgery, which is typically performed by an ophthalmologist, requires extreme care before, during, and afterwards, Katie wasted no time informing her fans how the procedure went as she was back online just two hours later.
The busty babe uploaded a short clip of her wearing sunglasses while sitting on what appeared to be a train, alongside the caption: “My eyes streaming can’t see and have to wear dark glasses but will be worth it ! Such easy procedure (sic)”
Katie’s latest surgery comes just weeks after she claimed she wasn’t having any more operations following her 11th boob job.
She said: “That’s it now, I don’t need any more surgery unless anyone thinks I can improve something.
“But no there’s no babies, no surgery I’m back to the old Katie Price again, on a mission to do my thing.”
Katie – who has five children Harvey, 14, Junior, 11, Princess, nine, Jett, three, and Bunny, two, from three different relationships – is certainly no stranger to the operating table, as not only has she had breast implants put in and taken back out numerous times, she’s also had a nose job, multiple lip fillers, Botox and veneers placed over her teeth for an improved smile.

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Stipe partially blames Alec Baldwin for Donald Trump’s popularity.
The former R.E.M. frontman insists the former ‘Apprentice’ star would never have risen to become President Elect without the race to the White House being turned into “entertainment”, and included the actor’s comic portrayal of Trump on ‘Saturday Night Live’ for helping to “create a monster”.
Speaking to Alec on his ‘Here’s The Thing’ radio show before the result was announced, he said: “It is so sad that we have allowed ourselves to sink to this level of really entertainment, that’s what it is.
“I blame media completely for it, including ‘Saturday Night Live’.
“What does it feel like from inside? What does it feel like playing that character? It’s satire, it’s brilliantly done, but it’s still adding to the push of… Warhol said, there’s no such thing as bad publicity. How have we created this monster? How have we put our particular American brand on this thing?”
The 58-year-old actor admitted he was initially reluctant to take on the role after being approached by ‘SNL’ creator Lorne Michaels because he has no “appreciation” for Trump.
He replied: “When I was approached by Lorne, who is a friend of mine, to do it, my first impulse was ‘no.’ Because in order to do that effectively, you need to have at least some appreciation of the person … for which Trump I have none.”
And Alec feels “unsettled” by the number of people who have thanked him for offering a “release” with the sketches.
He added: “I have had a wave of people… it’s kind of unsettling to me actually how many people come up to me all day long and they thank me because they needed something to laugh about. They needed a release.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Imelda Staunton “felt pretty bad for days” after shooting a ‘Harry Potter’ scene where her character dished out a brutal punishment to the titular character.
The 60-year-old actress starred as Ministry of Magic employee Professor Dolores Umbridge, who went on to hold a variety of positions at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, including Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher and headmistress, in the film saga.
And Imelda admits some of the scenes she had to film as her sinster character were very “difficult”, particularly one in ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’ where Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) was forced to write lines – with the words then etching themselves painfully into the back of his hand.
She admitted: “I want to make sure that I serve the purpose in the story and it was very difficult. I loved doing it, but I have to say, the most difficult scene to do, which did leave me feeling pretty bad for a couple days, was actually the scene where I make him do the lines and it happens in his hand.
“You know, the ‘I must not tell lies’ detention scene.
“That touched into something that you think, ‘Gosh, we’re all capable of great cruelty.’ It was a horrible, horrible feeling.”
And Imelda found her character’s cruelty so hard to take because of her “absolute and utter belief” she was doing the right thing.
She added: “She’s not sort of twirling her moustache and saying ‘Muahahaha,’ it’s the absolute and utter belief that actually it is going to help and that’s, of course, so much more frightening.”
The British star insists she never felt any “sympathy” for her twisted character because she was such a “monster”.
Speakign to Entertainment Weekly’s ‘Binge’ podcast, she said: “I don’t have to have sympathy at all, not in the slightest,
“I think she’s a bloody monster and to be played as such.
“I don’t need to understand what she does, but from a character point of view, she believes she’s doing the absolute best for that school. Yet again, I have embraced a completely and utterly deluded woman.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Coleen Nolan stayed silent about her son Jake Roche’s relationship with his fiancée Jesy Nelson during her appearance on ‘Loose Women’ on Wednesday (09.11.16).
Rumours have been rumbling that Jesy has called off her engagement to Jake after unfollowing him on photo-sharing social media site Instagram.
The Rixton frontman disappeared from the Little Mix star’s account listings on Tuesday (08.11.16), however, she still has images of them together on her Instagram page.
Coleen – who had Jake with her ex-husband, ‘EastEnders’ actor Shane Ritchie, real name Shane Roche – appeared on the ITV daytime show as the lead panellist but didn’t address the furore which has been sparked by Jesy’s unfollow.
Instead, she focused on Donald Trump’s US Presidential election victory and the pain and possible pleasure experienced during childbirth.
The former Nolans singer’s silence on the subject was unusual for her as Coleen has never been shy to address rumours and stories about her son and potential daughter-in-law on the programme in the past.
The last time she spoke about Jesy was last month in the wake of the 25-year-old pop beauty and her Little Mix bandmates – Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall – being criticised over the sexy outfits they wore for their performance of ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ on ‘The X Factor’ just a few weeks ago.
Coleen, 51, said: “I mean really, they had kind of like swimsuits on, they didn’t have their boobs out, they weren’t showing anything you hadn’t seen before. What people forget about Little Mix is that when they first came out they were this very sweet girl band, all very innocent and it was little kids who followed them and then over the years, as you do, you develop as a woman, you experience life more, you get more confident … I’ve seen a lot worse, no one says anything when Beyonce comes out in the same stuff. Although I am bias because they are talking about my future daughter-in-law, I am very protective of her.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Snoop Dogg is planning on smoking marijuana “every day” now that the drug is legalised in California.
The ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ rapper has led the celebrations after Proposition 64 was approved by voters, legalising the substance in the US state, as well as Massachusetts, North Dakota, Arkansas and Nevada.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “We just legalized marijuana in Cali. #smokeweedeveryday. (sic)”
Seth MacFarlane also joined in and said in light of the news that Donald Trump was elected as the president of America, at least marijuana has been made legal for recreational use.
The ‘Family Guy’ creator wrote: “At least pot’s legal. (sic)”
Snoop, 43, has been open about his personal drug use in the past and is a keen advocate of cannabis, which he is legally allowed to use to treat migraines in California.
And in 2013, Snoop confessed to smoking up to 80 cannabis blunts per day, adding he would “love” to show his kids Cordé, 22, Cordell, 19 and Cori, 17, how to smoke the substance “the right way”.
He said: “It’s not that I would ever push weed on our kids. But if they wanted to, I would love to show them how, the right way, so that way they won’t get nothing put in their shit or overdose or trying some shit that ain’t clean.”
Last year, Snoop – whose real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr – launched his own line of Cannabis-related products called Leafs.
Snoop insists he carefully selected the collection, which includes cannabis-infused foods, hand-weighed marijuana flowers and hash oils.
At the time, he said: “It’s a true blessing that I can share the products I love so much with y’all today. OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Alba takes her kids to work with her to ensure she is never away from them for too long.
The 35-year-old screen starlet is married to film producer Cash Warren and the couple have two daughters, Honor, eight, and Haven, five, together.
As well as being an in-demand actress, Jessica also runs her ethical products business The Honest Company but she has learned how to juggle the demands of work with motherhood, because she’s had to.
And Jessica takes her kids on her business trips so once the working day is finished they can have quality family time.
Speaking to UsMagazine.com, she shared: “I go on so many business trips, and they’re usually two to three days. I’ll bring just one at a time and it’ll be like, ‘Mom’s gonna bring you on a special trip. We’ll get to have a sleepover, we’ll get to order room service, we’ll get to rent a movie. It’s really fun!”
Although they may have a famous parent, Jessica insists she and her kids just like to do normal things on the weekends just like any other family.
She explained: “I just try to make the time that I spend with them quality. We like to go on walks and we like to watch movies and barbecue. They love to take a bath and then get back in their pyjamas for the rest of the weekend.
“Honor is reading a series called ‘Amulet’. We finished ‘Beezus and Ramona’. Haven loves ‘Cat in the Hat’ and ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ because I do silly voices. There’s also ‘Freckleface Strawberry’, Julianne Moore’s book. She likes funky, funny characters.”
The ‘Mechanic: Resurrection’ star also ensures she has some free time for herself and loves to get a message to relax.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Mick Jagger has joked that he could sing ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’ at Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The 73-year-old Rolling Stones singer was responding to the news that the 70-year-old Republican was elected as the President of the United States and that he chose to walk out to the 1969 hit on Tuesday morning (08.11.16).
Taking to Twitter, Jagger wrote: “Just was watching the news … maybe they’ll ask me to sing ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’ at the inauguration, ha! (sic)”
It follows the on-going legal battle between the ‘Satisfaction’ hitmakers and Trump after he ignored their plea to stop playing their music at his rallies.
In May, Trump used the legendary rock group’s song ‘Start Me Up’ when he walked out of his victory speech in Indiana and they insisted they had “never given permission to the Trump campaign to use their songs” and requested he “cease all use immediately.”
However, Trump did not cooperate and used ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’ at the Republican National Convention back in July, and he also made use of the song ‘Brown Sugar’.
A statement released by the band – also comprised of Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts – at the time read: “The Rolling Stones do not endorse Donald Trump.
“You Can’t Always Get What You Want was used without the band’s permission.”
However, neither parties have backed down and the legal battle continues.
A source said: “This row is showing no signs of ending. There has been a mass of correspondence between the two parties.
“Both sides believe they are in the right and neither are refusing to budge.
“Fair play to the Stones for standing up for their rights and that of other musicians.
“It is a matter of principle for them. They are acting for the wider musical community.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Penny Lancaster-Stewart prepared for childbirth by visiting a holistic therapist who taught her how to stretch perineum.
The 45-year-old model has two sons, Alastair, 10, and five-year-old Aiden, with her husband Sir Rod Stewart, and she wanted to deliver both kids without pain relief in the same way her own mother gave birth to her.
To ready her body and mind for labour, Penny met with a Hindu woman who taught her how to meditate to deal with the pain and also helped her ready the area for the physical demands of birth, both of which worked for her.
During an appearance on ‘Loose Women’ on Wednesday (09.11.16), she spilled: “My mother used to tell the story about how she gave birth to me and my brother with no pain relief and she didn’t scream. When I was about to give birth I would think, ‘I’ve got to follow that.’ … It was recommended to me to go to this holistic lady, she was a Hindu lady and she taught meditation, and it was her home where she did the treatment and she would put beautiful music on, calming music. She would do this very meditative talk and describe to you how your little baby could hear and feel you and how you were connected and as she was talking tears would come down my face I was really connected to the whole experience.
“Then she suggested that there was a method by which you massage the perineum, which is the skin part between the front and the back and in a lot of cases when women are forcing the baby out that area will tear, it’s not pleasant. But if you stretch that area with oils then it will help the childbirth. I ended up having two children naturally without drugs in a birthing pool, lights were low, there were candles, and I went to that place and used mind over matter and thought beautiful thoughts, even though I was in pain I was frightened of the pain so I didn’t go into a panic.”
Penny wasn’t shy about going into the exact details of what it takes to stretch your perineum, much to the shock of her fellow panellists Coleen Nolan, Linda Robson and Anne Diamond.
Not concerned about over-sharing, the statuesque blond beauty said: “I went home and 10 minutes every day you have to pull on that skin in a downward motion. Yes, she had to show me how to do it. She would put my finger or thumb there and then encourage my hand into the direction it needs to go. She was a doula she would often go with women to the births.”
Penny made the decision to refuse all pain relief during her births because she wanted to “feel in control” of her own body but she says expectant mothers must make labour decisions which are right for them and not feel pressurised to have natural deliveries.
She said: “I decided to do the mother earth thing and give birth naturally because I wanted to feel in control and I wanted to feel each contraction and know that my baby was going to be in my arms soon … But at the end of the day if you’re terrified and you’re in pain then do have the epidural.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Buble’s son is reportedly suffering from liver cancer.
The Canadian crooner and his wife Luisana Lopilato announced last week that three-year-old Noah had cancer, and the youngster was diagnosed after having a liver biopsy following an initial check-up at a clinic in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after the 29-year-old actress took him for a consultation because he had a high fever.
Argentine magazine Gente reported: “She took her son to the Otamendi Miroli Hospital in Buenos Aires because he had a high fever.
“After an exhaustive examination, they ruled out mumps and suggested two possibilities, a throat infection or mononucleosis.
“To rule out the second possibility they had to carry out a battery of tests which included an abdominal ultrasound.
“On October 27, after a throat swab, they confirmed he had a throat infection and not mononucleosis but the ultrasound had detected a liver problem.
“The doctors told Luisana, ‘He has a stain on his liver, but it’s not got different tones and therefore it’s probably benign but we have to continue with the tests.’ ”
According to the publication, Michael, 41, who was working in London, urged his wife to seek a second opinion in Los Angeles, so his spouse, Noah, their other son Elias, nine months, and Luisana’s parents, flew to the US to see another doctor.
Luisana’s sister, Daniela, told Gente: “It was there they discovered something wasn’t right.
“We have very good specialists but for personal and family reasons, Michael and my sister decided to fly to the States.”
Noah is believed to have begun a four-month course of chemotherapy and may need surgery afterwards to remove the tumour, but his chances of beating the disease are 90 per cent.
Daniela added: “If God wanted it to be discovered that way, it’s because he wants to save Noah.
“Cancer is a horrible illness but we have faith in Noah being able to overcome this.
“We know he will. The time to start a long and very difficult treatment has come but it’s got to be done.
“They say children are normally strong to put up with chemotherapy and my nephew is a warrior.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Munn is “really happy” with Aaron Rodgers.
The ‘X-Men’ actress has been dating the NFL player for over two years and things couldn’t be better between them.
She gushed: “I’m really happy, things are good.”
But the 36-year-old beauty insists that doesn’t mean marriage is on the cards just yet.
Asked how she deals with constant rumours she is getting engaged, she told E! News: “I think you only deal with that when it actually happens.”
For the time being, Olivia is looking forward to “making her own” holiday traditions with the 32-year-old sportsman and is particularly excited about getting a Christmas tree.
She shared: “Putting up our tree is big, we just got a tree last year.
“So, I’m excited about decorating the tree and having that up.”
Earlier this year, Olivia revealed she had taken steps to preserve her fertility by having some of her eggs frozen.
She said: “I turned 35, then you’re high risk. I did, years ago, freeze a bunch of eggs. I went to the doctor and did the whole test and he said, ‘You know, you actually have a lot of eggs. You’re really lucky.’
“A girlfriend of mine – we’re the same age – she’d gone to the doctor, had a test and she had the egg count of a 50 year old.
“For me, this is the count you’ll have until your 30s, even 40s – you’ll always have a lot.”
And the ‘Mortdecai’ actress thinks the practise has become increasingly more common and she believes every woman should freeze their eggs so they don’t have to worry about their biological clocks ticking.
She added: “I actually started telling my friends about it.
“It’s no longer on the experimental list and I think that every girl should do it. For one, you don’t have to race the clock any more. You don’t have to worry about it, worry about your job or anything. It’s there.
“It’s also just like, why not do it, because I see so many women who go through this. Doomsday is now like whatevers day, because I am prepared.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Benedict Cumberbatch’s shoes are being auctioned off in the world’s biggest celebrity shoe auction.
The 40-year-old actor is among the many stars to have donated a pair of their shoes to CharityStar.com, who are hosting the seventh annual Small Steps Celebrity Shoe Auction.
The charity aims to use the money raised from the auction in order to help support children living on landfill sites who quite often will walk barefooted on the dangerous ground.
CharityStars’ MD Robert Robinson said: “Our aim is to deliver impacting and sustainable fundraising solutions for the non-profit sectors so we are delighted to be running this auction for Small Steps and hope to raise lots of money for a fantastic cause.”
Benedict has donated a pair of Tod’s Loafers from his personal collection, and each shoe is signed on the inside. With 11 days to go until the bidding comes to an end, the shoes are currently at a highest bid of £600.
Alongside the ‘Doctor Strange’ star, the likes of Emma Watson, Kate Moss, Coldplay, Rita Ora, Matt Le Blanc and Oprah Winfrey are among just a few of the stars who have signed up to donate a pair of shoes to the cause.
Founder and CEO of CharityStars Amy Hanson said of the celebrity support: “We are always blown away by the support that celebrities show us, and this year once again the response has been truly phenomenal. These celebrity donors are really using their status to help create awareness for children in poverty.”
At present, the most expensive pair of shoes are Emma Watson’s autographed Sergio Rossi Stilettos, which have received a bid of £1,003.
Other bids include £686 for Coldplay frontman Chris Martin’s autographed Adidas Trainers, £531 for converse trainers signed and worn by Bastille’s Dan Smith, and £404 for ‘American Horror Story’ actor Evan Peter’s signed Nike Trainers.
There are currently 77 open auctions for celebrity shoes, with the auctions closing on Sunday, November 20.

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlize Theron doesn’t agree that Hollywood is ageist towards women as she works more now she’s 41 than she ever did when she was in her 20s.
The ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ star accepts there are problems within the movie business but she thinks the days of actresses being sidelined and having less roles available once they hit their 40s are over.
In an interview with Vanity Fair Italy, she said: “The time has come for women to realise that the way we look outside is not the most important thing and it’s not true we are worth less when we age.
“Now that I’m 41 I work much more than 20 years ago, and I enjoy it even more. And all the women I know say the same thing, so it’s time to stop this cliché.”
When told it was unusual to hear that opinion from an actress who makes her living in Hollywood, Charlize added: “I don’t agree with that, and I’m not happy to hear people talking like that about Hollywood … Movies are just the mirror of society; the real problem is there. Hollywood’s gender problem is nothing compared to the society’s problem.”
Charlize – who has two adopted children, four-year-old son Jackson and daughter August – has never been afraid of ageing as she accepts it is an unavoidable aspect of life.
The Best Actress Oscar winner says the best thing that has come with the passing years is the worldly wisdom she has acquired.
She said: “How could I be afraid of something so natural? Ageing is part of our life, we can’t avoid that. And a part of me is really grateful for all the things that have happened since I started ageing, now I’m much wiser than 20 years ago. A wrinkle is nothing compared to that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Evans is “embarrassed” by the US presidential election result.
The ‘Captain America’ actor has slammed Donald Trump – and branded him a “bully” and a “hatemonger” and admitted he is “devastated” the former ‘Apprentice’ star triumphed over rival Hillary Clinton.
Chris – who had earlier revealed he had cast his vote for the Democratic candidate – tweeted: “This is an embarrassing night for America. We’ve let a hatemonger lead our great nation. We’ve let a bully set our course. I’m devastated.”
Ariel Winter was also “devastated” by the result.
The shocked star wrote on Twitter: “America, you have failed. What the actual f**k. Devastating. I won’t recognize @realDonaldTrump as our president, ever. #dumptrucktrump (sic)”
‘Family Guy’ creator Seth MacFarlane thinks the result will leave many US citizens “genuinely fearful”.
He posted: “Some didn’t like Bush. Some didn’t like Obama. But this is different. Forget dislike. Many are genuinely fearful now. This is new. (sic)”
‘The Help’ star Octavia Spencer believes the result will give people perspective on “how good” things were under departing president Barack Obama.
She tweeted: “Gonna miss Obama. maybe this country needs a Trump presidency to see just how good we had it and took it for granted!!!!! #GodBlessTheUSA (sic)”
But not all stars were disappointed in the result.
Stephen Baldwin was “proud” to have openly campaigned for the businessman.
As the votes were counted, he tweeted: “God is moving …..
& America is speaking !! PTL @realdonaldtrump @KellyannePolls #MakeAmericaGreatAgain #GodBlessAmerica (sic)”
He later added: “Soon the REAL work begins … to #MakeAmericaGreatAgain ! Proud to have been a part of such amazing history !!

Musician Kid Rock endorsed the new president during the election campaign, and though he hasn’t directly spoken about the result, he did share with his Twitter followers a YouTube video called ‘Donald Trump – American Bad Ass’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Pixie Geldof isn’t afraid of death.
The 26-year-old musician-and-model has tragically been touched by death on two occasions in her young life; when she was just 10 years old when her mother Paula Yates died from a heroin overdose in 2000 and two years ago her older sister Peaches Geldof died in the same way.
Despite the grief she has experienced, Pixie – whose father is Bob Geldof – doesn’t fear death herself and just accepts it will come to her and whatever is next is the great unknown.
In an interview with Stylist magazine, she said: “I don’t think I’m scared [of death]; I don’t want to die. We don’t know what happens so there’s no point in being scared.”
When asked if there’s one thing she wants to know before she passes away, Pixie added: “It’s a really hard question. Maybe there’s nothing I want to know. Some things should remain a mystery.”
The tragedy-hit singer – who has just released her debut album ‘I’m Yours’ – has spent time contemplating the meaning of life and believes the most important thing is to surround yourself with loving people.
Musing on the meaning of life, she said: “Having really good friends who share their lives with you.”
Discussing what the hardest lesson she has learnt is, Pixie – who has a younger half-sister, 19-year-old Tiger Hutchence the daughter of late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence and Paula – said: “That things don’t always go as planned and to roll with the punches.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Roger Daltrey doesn’t worry about dying despite having many fallen friends.
The 72-year-old lead singer of The Who was honoured with The Music Industry Trust Award at London’s Grosvenor House on Monday (07.11.16) where he said he doesn’t lose sleep over the fact he could die soon, despite music legends including David Bowie and Prince passing away this year.
He told The Sun newspaper: “I don’t worry about that – that’s just life. It might be me next year.”
The ‘Pinball Wizard’ hitmaker was presented with the accolade – to recognise his charity work for the Teenage Cancer Trust and music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins – by former ‘Top Gear’ host Jeremy Clarkson, who used his speech to say how much he thinks the legendary rocker should get a knighthood.
Speaking at the star-studded bash, he said: “They’ve given knighthoods to Philip Green, Fred The Shred, Jimmy Saville, then Roger’s sitting down there with a CBE. I mean come on?”
Whilst on stage accepting his award, Daltrey dedicated the accolade to his living and dead Who bandmates, Pete Townshend and the late John Entwislte and Keith Moon, and praised the charities he works with.
He said: “I got lucky. I found John Entwistle. I found Pete Townsend. I don’t know if it was lucky but I found Keith Moon!
“The Teenage Cancer Trust not only helps teenagers; it also helps parents. And it takes so much work to maintain where we are with Nordoff Robbins.”
It comes after Daltrey said he “didn’t want to live” during his meningitis battle.
The ‘My Generation’ star fell desperately ill with the infection in 2015, leading to him cancelling a series of planned appearances, and he admitted he was convinced he would not survive his health struggles.
Speaking before The Who’s performance at Desert Trip Festival in October, he explained: “I can’t believe I am going to be there if I am honest.
“A year ago, I was literally at death’s door. I had meningitis. It was no f***ing joke, it was serious.
“For a couple of days, I really thought I was going to die. I gave up.
“I didn’t want to live, it was so painful. It was horrible. Nothing worked and it was agony.”
