Bethenny Frankel felt 'hopeless' during divorce

OHMYGOSSIP — Bethenny Frankel was left feeling “hopeless” after her divorce from Jason Hoppy.
The 46-year-old television personality and the businessman, also 46, finally ended their six-year marriage earlier this year after two years of legal battles – which included a custody war over their six-year-old daughter Bryn – and Bethenny has now claimed she was “depressed” by her ordeal.
Speaking to New York Post’s Page Six column, the ‘Real Housewives of New York’ star said: “I was experiencing emotional distress and felt hopeless and a little bit, dare I say, depressed.
“I think that was surprising to women because I’m successful, I have a powerful personality and I was going through my own personal crisis.”
Bethenny announced earlier this week she was teaming up with Dress for Success to launch the B Strong: Find Your Yes initiative to help other women who are in “crisis”.
She said: “You have to find your own financial independence; you have to be able to stand on your own two feet.
“B Strong is going to be giving legal advice, life coaching and kind of surround someone with the resources they need to help them get out of a crisis.”
Previously, Bethenny described her charity as a centre for women in “dire straits”.
She said: “It’s for women in abusive situations, women at a crossroads, women in dire straits financially.”
Meanwhile, the Skinnygirl founder recently spoke out in defence of women who feel “tortured” by long divorce processes, saying she wants to be a “voice of empowerment”.
Bethenny said: “I have had women say to me, ‘It’s been six years since my divorce ended and I am still being tortured.’
“It never ends, and I imagine there are millions and millions more than the women I have spoken to. I want to be a voice of empowerment.”

Judge blocks Brad Pitt's request to seal custody documents

OHMYGOSSIP — A judge has blocked Brad Pitt’s efforts to hold an emergency hearing to have details about his custody dispute with Angelina Jolie sealed.
The 52-year-old actor, who split from the Oscar-winning actress earlier this year, wants to keep their custody battle over their six adopted children private – but LA Superior Court Judge Richard J. Burdge Jr has rejected Brad’s request to listen to his petition on an expedited basis to keep the documents sealed.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: “The judge only denied the request for an emergency hearing and not the actual motion requesting that the case be sealed.”
The insider confirmed that hearing will be held on January 17 and added that “resolving this privately is in the best interests of the entire family, including both parents, so it is surprising that one side would keep pushing to publicise matters involving the children”.
This comes shortly after it was reported that Angelina – who has children Vivienne, eight, Knox, eight, Shiloh, 10, Zahara, 11, Pax, 13, and Maddox, 15, with Brad – filed the documents because she was worried that her estranged husband was trying to change their temporary agreement.
The ‘Maleficent’ actress was concerned that Brad would seek to have un-monitored visits with the children.
Angelina is also reported to have consulted with her therapist about the issue, who said it’s too early to sanction such a scenario.
She is however, open to Brad having solo visits provided it is signed off by the therapist.
But sources close to the ‘Fury’ actor have claimed that Angelina has exposed their children to unnecessary stress and he thinks her recent behaviour is proof she is a bad parent.

Tiny Fey makes misogyny claim

OHMYGOSSIP — Tina Fey believes that misogyny is “much more real” than it was two ago.
The 46-year-old actress has said that she believes women’s rights are in a “throwback moment” and are getting worse than they were before, which she blames on the recent US presidential election which saw controversial candidate Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in the race to the White House.
The ’30 Rock’ actress said: “It feels like we were on the precipice of things getting pretty good, and now we’re in a bit of a throwback moment. I definitely came out of last month feeling misogyny is much more real than two years ago.”
But it isn’t just women’s rights and equality that upsets the ‘Whiskey Tango Foxtrot’ star though, as Tina says what scares her more about the world today is “the internet”.
She said: “The thing I worry about [more] than actual human interaction is the internet.
“Because that’s just despicable: people just being able to be awful to each other without having to be in the same room.
“It’s metastasising now, thanks to our glorious president-elect who can’t muster the dignity of a seventh-grader. It’s so easy for people to abuse each other and to abandon all civility.”
And although Tina might not like the internet very much, she admits it does come in handy for helping her keep in touch with her former ‘Saturday Night Live’ (‘SNL’) co-stars – including Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, and Paula Pell – as they “talk as a group” using their computers.
Speaking in the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine, Tina said: “I have a group of women that I worked with at ‘SNL’ and we talk as a group through the computer every single day. Dozens of times a day. And it’s very nice.
“It’s something we’ve come to in our 40s. It was easy when we worked at ‘SNL’: You’re on top of each other 60 hours a week. So it’s nice that we are maintaining this friendship.”

Liam Payne wants to propose to Cheryl after birth

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne wants to propose to his girlfriend Cheryl as soon as she’s given birth.
The One Direction singer and the 33-year-old pop star have only been dating for under a year but they’re certainly not hanging around as they’re already expecting a child together – believed to be due in early 2017 – and now the hunk is thinking about popping the question in the delivery room after being inspired by the way Cheryl’s best friend Kimberley Walsh’s partner Justin Scott got down on one knee two years ago.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Liam got the idea to propose straight after the birth after finding out that Justin popped the question after the delivery of their first child. It’s given Liam so many ideas. There will definitely be wedding bells sooner than we expected.”
However, although they’re no doubt excited for their baby’s impending birth, the ‘I Don’t Care’ hitmaker will have to lean on her family for a while as Liam, 23, has to jet across to Los Angeles next year to put the finishing touches on his debut solo album.
A source said recently: “Liam is doing what he can to make sure he spends as much time as possible with Cheryl before and after the birth, but some commitments can’t be changed. Luckily Cheryl has an incredibly supportive family, who will rally round if they are needed. They will also be helping her and Liam after the birth, as Cheryl is saying she doesn’t want to get a nanny.”
The pair are yet to officially confirm their baby news but they set tongues wagging last week when the brunette beauty stepped out at a charity event with a burgeoning baby bump.
Cheryl – who has been married twice to Ashley Cole and Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini – and Liam began dating back in February but first met when the hunk auditioned for ‘The X Factor’ in 2008 when he was just 14.
This will be the second One Direction baby following Liam’s bandmate Louis Tomlinson having son Freddie with Los Angeles-based stylist Briana Jungwirth in January.

Natalie Portman craves pineapples and burritos

OHMYGOSSIP — Natalie Portman is craving pineapples and burritos during her pregnancy.
The ‘Black Swan’ star is expecting her second child with husband Benjamin Millepied – with whom she also has five-year-old son Aleph – and has revealed this time round she’s been addicted to the sour fruit and the not-so-healthy Mexican food wrap.
Talking about her cravings on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Wednesday (07.12.16), she said: “With (first child Aleph) it was very (different) …
“I wanted cream puffs, anything dessert with cream in it, or just plain cream straight. This time it’s, like, healthy – pineapple, cucumbers, burritos, which is maybe less healthy, but delicious.”
The 35-year-old actress also admitted she can’t wait to lose her baby weight.
She said: “It does make you look forward to the day when you can just have your own body on the red carpet. It’s weird because I’m a small person in general, so you show a lot faster and a lot more when you’re small. Everyone thinks I’m about to pop and about to give birth any minute, and I have months to go.
“I went to the store the other day to buy water and the guy at the checkout counter was like, ‘Almost, huh?’ I was like, ‘No! Not at all!”
Natalie revealed her pregnancy in September when she rocked up to the premiere of her film ‘Planetarium’ at the Venice Film Festival in a pink one-shoulder dress.

Rihanna denies Beyonce feud

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna has denied disrespecting Beyonce on Instagram.
The 28-year-old singer was accused of dissing the ‘Halo’ hitmaker after she liked a post on the photo-sharing website which bemoaned the fact she had received eight Grammy nominations while Beyonce was up for nine awards.
Beyoncé, 35, received nominations in categories including the coveted Song of the Year gong for ‘Formation’, and Album of the Year for ‘Lemonade’, both of which failed to include Rihanna in their shortlist.
Taking to Instagram, one fan account for the ‘Needed Me’ singer posted a lengthy rant including an emoji of a lemon, which hinted toward Beyonce.
The post read: “Congrats and all to @badgalriri and all for her 8 Grammy nods but tbh f**k them because they snubbed her for Song of the Year and Album of the Year.
“Like how my n***a!? I think they didn’t want her tied or passing someone else *cough cough* [lemon emoji]
“Cause if they wouldn’t have played her she would have been in the lead with most Grammy nods. F**k u Grammys, ANTI did amazing things this year and y’all played her. I think y’all shook! (sic)”
But Rihanna – who had previously liked the photo – then responded to the comments made by her fans, urging them to “drop this topic” and stop “putting black women against each other”.
She wrote: “I never actually read your caption, thought the pic was funny and moved right along! Til I seen it pop up over and over! I’m petty af, yes. But this is just unnecessary! I wish y’all would drop this topic and see things from the bigger picture!
“We don’t need to be putting black women against each other! We deserve to be celebrated, and the Grammy Academy agrees! (sic)”

Blac Chyna 'heartbroken' over name feud

OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna was left “heartbroken” after the Kardashians tried to block her from trademarking Angela Renée Kardashian.
The 28-year-old model placed a request to trademark her full name – which will only officially feature the famous surname when she marries her fiancé Rob Kardashian – for use for her work on social media and in entertainment, and was left hurt when legal representatives for Kim, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian submitted documents to block her trademark request.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: “Blac [Chyna] is really heartbroken over this whole name feud.
“She thinks it’s just sad that the Kardashian family can’t stop thinking for themselves and just accept her as one of them. Her and Rob [Kardashian] are practically married and she’s the mother of his child – why can’t they accept that?
“She thinks they are total fakes, pretending to welcome her into the family. It was all bulls**t.”
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the Kardashian family will “suffer damage, including irreparable injury, to their reputation and goodwill” if Chyna – who shares newly born daughter Dream with her 29-year-old fiancé, as well as four-year-old King Cairo with former partner Tyga – has her request granted.
The documents read: “[They have] spent, and continue to invest, a substantial amount of time, resources and money in protecting, advertising and promoting the ‘Kardashian’ marks [and] the public has come to associate goods and services bearing the ‘Kardashian’ marks [with them]. She is deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity [of the Kardashians and it is] likely to cause confusion, or to cause mistake, or to deceive consumers.”
However, it could all be one big misunderstanding as a source recently claimed the sisters’ lawyers “automatically oppose” anyone who places a trademark request for their name.
The inside claimed: “Their trademark attorneys automatically oppose anyone trying to trademark ‘Kardashian’. I doubt the girls were even aware. Everyone loves each other. It’s just business.”

Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West 'in good spirits'

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are “in good spirits” despite divorce rumours, according to close friend Jonathan Cheban.
The 39-year-old rapper was admitted to hospital last month after suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation, and set tongues wagging about a possible divorce from the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star as his mental health took its toll on their relationship.
Now, the 42-year-old reality star – and close friend of the couple – has completely shut down the rumours, saying they’re “so not true”.
Speaking to E! News, Jonathan said: “I just FaceTimed with Kim and Kanye and everyone’s talking about some divorce rumours and I was laughing because I didn’t hear that all day and I guess everybody else apparently here did and it’s so funny to me because it’s so not true.
“I don’t know where people come up with stories but it’s literally hysterical but Jennifer Aniston has also been pregnant like 1,000 times so it’s kind of a joke.
“They’re in good spirits. I don’t want to talk much about them because it’s not my business but I do have to say that the divorcing is kind of hysterical, that I will mention, because I just spoke to both of them on FaceTime literally before I was coming here and when I heard that I literally burst out laughing.”
Jonathan’s defence for the couple – who share three-year-old North and 12-month-old Saint together – comes after multiple sources reportedly claimed Kim, 36, didn’t “want to stay married” to the ‘Bound 2’ hitmaker.
One source reportedly said: “It will take some time before [Kim] can do anything. She doesn’t want to stay married.
“She’s being a supportive wife. She cares about Kanye and feels relieved he’s getting the help he needs but she’s felt trapped for a while.”
Another is believed to have said: “Kanye’s behaviour took a huge toll on their marriage. But Kim feels relieved he is getting the help he needs. She thinks this is what it will take to save him — and help their marriage.”

Yolanda Hadid defends Gigi from social media trolls

OHMYGOSSIP — Yolanda Hadid has defended Gigi from social media trolls.
The 52-year-old American television personality – who is the mother of Gigi and Bella, 20 – has jumped to the defence of her eldest daughter, who received a string of negative comments from one Instagram user – – who is named ihategigihadid on the picture sharing website – after posting a picture of her in a campaign for Max Mara her account.
The 21-year-old captioned the post: “Color keeps us warm @maxmara #whitneybag #ad (sic).”
However, the upload led to one person’s sudden outburst, which saw them question the catwalk icon’s picture and accompanying caption.
Their post read: “Wtf (sic).”
This single comment then spiralled out of control when a number of Gigi supporters advised the user not to comment if they’re not a fan of the blonde beauty, and to claims people would report the social media troll on the site.
One user asked: “why do you go on her pics if u hate her (sic).”
To which they replied: “Mind your own business
“I could say what the f**k I want dumb b***h (sic).”
The ongoing tirade soon led to ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star to step in to prevent any further offensive comments from the account, which saw her plead with the user to take their “powerless” energy elsewhere and to do something more productive with their time that will make people proud.
Yolanda wrote: “@ihategigihadid Your energy is powerless here so use it else where, better your life and try to make your parents proud. (sic).”
But this is not the first time Yolanda has proved herself as a protective and supportive parent to her brood, as she has posted a string of photos of her children to her social media account praising them for their work.
Alongside one image of Gigi when she received her International Model accolade at this year’s The Fashion Awards, which took place in London on Monday (05.12.16), she wrote: “Keep being you my love, I am so proud of the extraordinary person that you are and all that you have accomplished in the past 21 years. I love watching you grow and learn in this amazing journey. Congratulations on winning the “International Model of the Year” 2016 award by @britishfashioncouncil #KeepSmiling #KeepShining #ProudMommy (sic).”

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen won't 'spoil' Luna this Christmas

OHMYGOSSIP — John Legend and Chrissy Teigen won’t “spoil” daughter Luna on Christmas Day.
The 37-year-old musician and his 31-year-old wife have revealed they don’t plan to go overboard with gifts for their seven-month-old daughter this festive season because she has “no idea” and “no appreciation” of the annual celebration.
Speaking to E! News about their tiny tot, the ‘Ordinary People’ hitmaker said: “We’re not going to spoil her much for Christmas because she’ll have no idea and she’ll have no appreciation.”
However, the vocalist – who married his model spouse in 2013 – has admitted the couple intend to dress their tiny tot in various costumes and do things with Luna to entertain themselves.
He continued: “I think most of the things we’ll do for her for Christmas will really be for us… like dressing her up.”
John has revealed the couple have not undertaken many Christmas rituals in the past and have hinted they intend on ticking a few festive things off of their bucket list this year by getting their first ever Christmas tree.
He said: “We haven’t done a family Christmas photo, but we’re going to do a holiday party, we’re going to get the tree, this will be our first Christmas tree, me and Chrissy. We’ve never have had a time when we were home during Christmas because we usually travel to family members, who live in Ohio or Thailand, where her parents lived before.
“This is the first time that we’ve actually been able to be home and have our own tree and decorate our own house for Christmas and we’ve got our baby there to celebrate with us.”
And the vocalist has revealed he is looking forward to celebrating Luna’s first Christmas this year.
Speaking previously, he said: “Christmas with Luna is going to be really exciting.”

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone take part in handprint ceremony

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone’s handprints were immortalised at an imprint ceremony on Wednesday (07.12.16).
The ‘La La Land’ stars were joined by their family and friends as they took part in the ceremony at Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre and Emma couldn’t quite believe all that was happening.
She told the crowd: “I thought that maybe this was kind of a thing where you come and you put your handprints in the cement, and then they take them away and they put them up somewhere. I was just told that they’re going to stay here. I cried a little bit inside – I mean, I cried outside, but it was inside [the theatre].”
Afterwards, Ryan took to the stage to the cheers of the audience, which he quipped was just “his mom and her friends”.
He shared: “That’s my mom and her friends. I told them not to come, but they insisted … We had an opportunity to shoot in most of Los Angeles’ most iconic locations except for this. So this is the final piece to the puzzle. It’s a beautiful way to end this experience.”
Meanwhile, Emma previously gushed about the team who worked on ‘La La Land’, dubbing them like a team of “worker chickens”.
She said: “There are worker chickens and super chickens. They did this study, and the worker chickens, by the end of it, had gotten all this stuff done. But the super chickens, all but three had pecked each other to death.
“I guess I relate to that in the sense that it feels good for me to collaborate with people and be in a community. It’s hard for me to be, like, this sole person doing something. [With] theatre or something like ‘La La Land,’ we all were such a team the whole time. Is this a really weird roundabout discussion? I’m not a super chicken!”

David Beckham's advice for son Cruz

The retired soccer star and the fashion designer are so proud of their 11-year-old son after he unveiled his track ‘If Every Day Was Christmas’ but insist the most important thing is for him to be happy.
Asked what advice they have given him, he said: “Just be happy, if you don’t want to do it, you can come back to it a bit later. And they just said that they’re happy whatever I’m doing and singing makes me really happy. Brooklyn said to me that he’s really proud and I can’t ask for any more support. Everyone is so supportive.”
And Cruz has confessed he’d love to collaborate with ‘Thinking Out Loud’ hitmaker Ed Sheeran.
He shared: “I just love all of his songs. If anyone picked one of the songs, I’d just love it. And I love how he plays the acoustic guitar like me.”
Cruz also revealed he is a huge fan of Victoria’s work with the Spice Girls.
Speaking to Roman Kemp on the Capital Evening Show, he said: “Yeah I love all of her old stuff. I remember when I was five years old I think, I was dancing on stage to one of her tunes.”

James Arthur was on 'self-destruct' mode

OHMYGOSSIP — James Arthur “hit the self-destruct button” when he first found fame.
The ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ hitmaker feels he succumbed to the pressure of his meteorological rise to fame and coupled with not being “mentally in a good place”, he found himself spiralling out of control.
He shared: “I wasn’t really mentally in a good place before I did ‘The X Factor’. The pressure got to me – I was having these bad anxiety attacks all the time. The way that I would deal with that was by self-medicating; it spiralled out of control. I hit the self-destruct button.”
After he was dropped from his record label, it was a huge wake up call and he desperately tried to reconnect with his family and friends who he had shut out.
He added: “Everyone wrote me off including me … I felt like I was a joke in this country, and I didn’t want to feel like that anymore. I quickly realised that smoking the amount of weed I was smoking and taking the pills I was taking was not helping. I decided to help myself, reconnect with friends and family who I’d previously stopped talking to to try to cope with it all by myself.”
And the 28-year-old singer isn’t worried about slipping back to his old ways as he feels “more equipped to deal” with his fame now.
He told Billboard magazine: “I’m more equipped to deal with it. There’s a lot of nonsense of course, and it can make you anxious because you never know what to expect.
“Before I would just smoke a lot of weed and take some prescription pills. Now I’m trying to take each day at a time without looking too far ahead, which I think is a much better approach.”

Kourtney Kardashian to host family's Christmas brunch

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star has revealed she will welcome her sisters – Kim Kardashian West, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner – and their families to celebrate the festive holiday with her.
In a post on her app, she shared: “My dining room is one of my favourite rooms in my house. I use the space to entertain – it’s perfect for when I have the whole family over … I’ll have a big buffet in the kitchen and set up the table for everyone.”
Meanwhile, Scott Disick is likely to be there for the Christmas festivities after the 37-year-old star got back together with the father of her three children – Mason, six, Penelope, three, and 23-month-old Reign.
A source said: “He has been consistently on his best behaviour for the past two months. He’s not been partying or drinking. This is the first time we’ve seen Scott be this good in a very long time. Yes, that is always something Kourtney wanted for Scott – to calm down and be at home.”
Whilst another insider added: “Their love for each other never went away. He’s been trying to win Kourtney over for a while now, but his constant partying was a huge issue. He’s been spending a lot more time with Kourtney and the kids and proving himself to show that his family is the priority …
“He’s doing his best to keep himself in check. Kourtney is definitely the reason for that. He still has his own place, but he loves her. He’s always loved her and wanted his family back together. They’re best friends – that’s never changed, even when things were rough between them …
“Scott has just been over the partying. He got sick of it and decided to clean up his act. He was having people over at his house to party until 6 a.m. all the time, and he hasn’t been doing that either.”

John Krasinski ignores bad reviews

OHMYGOSSIP — John Krasinski tries to ignore reviews.
The 37-year-old actor has stepped behind the camera to direct ‘The Hollars’ but still tries not to read too much into critics’ opinions of his work.
He said: “I don’t know. I sound like I’m 92 years old, but being in the business for a decent amount of time, you really do learn – or you hope to learn – that you don’t allow the reviews to impact you.
“I’ve learned from several very astute, very smart people that the day before the movie comes out, you need to feel about your movie as you’re always going to feel. That’s when you should solidify how you feel. Then how other people feel about your movie is completely up to them. And I think that is very healthy and really helpful. It’s difficult sometimes, but for me, I knew what I wanted to get out of the movie and I knew what I thought was special in this movie.”
And John – who has Hazel, two, and Violet, five months, with his wife Emily Blunt – admits it was a bit “terrifying” on his first day behind the camera.
He added to Entertainment Tonight: “I think that going into the first day of anything is terrifying. A lot of people have said it probably more eloquently than me, but if you go into that first day and you’re not terrified, something’s wrong.
“Because usually that means you’re overconfident and usually that means the movie’s going to be bad. For me, there’s this set of nerves that makes me feel oddly safe. The more nervous I am – and I stay a good dose of nervous – allows me to maintain that movie can always get better, from the day you start shooting it to the day you premiere your movie. You can always get better.”

Kelly Clarkson gets mistaken for Carrie Underwood

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson gets mistaken for Carrie Underwood.
The ‘Because of You’ hitmaker says she is constantly confused for the ‘Before He Cheats’ singer because they are “both blonde and from American Idol” but sees it as a great compliment.
Speaking on Z100’s Elvis Duran and The Morning Show on Wednesday (07.12.16), Kelly said: “This is my favourite thing. People come up to me all the time. OK, we look nothing alike, we sound nothing alike, there’s nothing about us that’s similar, really, except we were both on Idol.
“People are always like, ‘I love your song, ‘So Small,’ and I’m like, ‘Thank you. Thank you, I think you’re thinking I’m Carrie Underwood.’ It always happens! Then a girl that worked with her years ago said the same things happened to her. I think it’s because we’re both blonde and from American Idol.”
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old singer – who has River Rose, two, and seven-month-old Remington Alexander with her husband Brandon Blackstock – previously admitted she thinks about giving up her singing career “all the time”.
She said: “I was in a very dark place for a long time. It’s just so hard to have normalcy. I love to sing, and I love to talk to people at meet and greets.
“It’s just all the c**p that comes along with this job … I don’t love traveling, because I’m never home. It’s hard when you have a family.”
Asked if she has thought about giving it all up, she added: “Oh, all the time. I mean, I’m always going to be a singer, but the level I’m at … I have constant guilt. I don’t have to work; I think it’s because I have that option that I feel the guilt. But it’s important for my girls, especially, to see me as a woman accomplishing all these things while nailing it as a mom. I always come back to that.”
