OHMYGOSSIP — Zayn Malik is supporting Louis Tomlinson “privately” following the death of his mother.
The 23-year-old former One Direction singer publicly feuded with his 25-year-old former band mate when he quit the group in 2015, but has put their differences aside to show his support after it was revealed Louis’ mother Johannah Deakin passed away Wednesday (12.07.16) following a secret battle with leukaemia.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, a source said: “Zayn has been in touch with Louis privately, and will continue to offer his support that way.”
The news comes after the ‘Pillow Talk’ hitmaker was rumoured to be in the audience – alongside remaining One Direction members Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne – for Louis’ performance on UK talent show ‘The X Factor’ on Saturday (10.12.16), where he performed his new single ‘Just Hold On’ in dedication to his mother.
However, it later transpired Zayn had been in New York for work commitments, as he appeared at the Billboard Women for Music Awards on the night Johannah’s untimely death was announced.
But the ‘It’s You’ singer reached out publicly in support of Louis, as he previously took to Twitter to offer his condolences.
He wrote: “@Louis_Tomlinson love you bro! All of your family is in my prayers. proud of your strength and know your mum is too x (sic).”
Liam, 23, also reached out via the micro-blogging site to offer his condolences to his “brother”, saying he is “always here” to support him.
He wrote: “Louis, I’m so sorry for you my brother my heart aches for you, just know I love you the same from a million miles away as i do right next to you. I’m always here for you through everything as you have been for me.
“My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this incredibly sad time I can’t begin to imagine what you are all going through. Rip Johanna you are forever in my thoughts (sic).”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman wanted children “from a very early age”.
The 49-year-old actress – who adopted Isabella, 23, and Connor, 20, with her former partner Tom Cruise, and has biological daughters Faith, five, and Sunday Rose, eight, with her husband Keith Urban – has said her maternal instincts kicked in early, and she “always knew” she was going to have a child.
She said: “Because I always knew I’d adopt, I just always wanted a child. I think from a very early age, I wanted a child. I knew that I was going to have a child and that it didn’t matter [how], I actually didn’t know if I was ever going to give birth to a child. So that was the least of it for me. And what I did first was adopt.”
Nicole is currently starring in ‘Lion’, a drama about a young boy who gets lost and ends up being adopted by an Australian couple, and says she took on the role because she connected to the story about the “bond between a mother and a child”.
She told January’s issue of Vogue Australia: “That’s what I love about this movie, and what I keep trying to say.
“Once the bond is there between a mother and a child, the biological part of it is sort of the least important part. I think when that bond forms, it’s astounding how powerful it is.”
And it isn’t the first time the blonde beauty has opened up about the role of adoptive mother Sue Brierley either, as she previously claimed she could “relate” to her character’s “vision of adoption”.
She said: “Also, there’s the power of the unconditional love that a mother gives. A mother is there, whether it’s Sue Brierley in the film, or me with my children.
“It’s important to emphasise … because a lot of times, with adoptive parents, people think: ‘Oh, it’s for other reasons.’ People have said that to me; and they said it to Sue. But when it’s the choice, it’s just the choice. She talks about the vision she had of adopting the children; and I relate to that. It happened to me, too.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘La La Land’ stormed the Critics’ Choice Awards 2016 winning an impressive eight gongs.
Damien Chazelle’s spectacular new musical was awarded Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Score, Best Song and Best Original Screenplay.
During his acceptance speech on stage at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on Sunday (11.12.16), director Chazelle praised lead stars Ryan Gosling, 36, and Emma Stone, 28, after the pair failed to receive individual awards for their parts in the movie.
Speaking to them, he said: “Both of you (gave) more than I ever could have expected from actors … just the most transformative performances I’ve ever been lucky enough to film.”
Elsewhere, the prestigious Best Actress and Best Actor accolades went to Natalie Portman, 35, for her portrayal of the former US first lady Jackie Kennedy in ‘Jackie’ and Casey Affleck, 41, for his role in drama ‘Manchester By The Sea’.
Ryan Reynolds, 40, received the prestigious Entertainer of The Year award and Best Actor in a Comedy for ‘Deadpool’.
And the superhero film also picked up Best Comedy.
The night – hosted by ‘Deadpool’ star TJ Miller – was not without some surprises, as when the director of ‘Silicon Valley’, Tom Lassally, took to the stage to give his acceptance speech for Best Comedy Series, rival Lakeith Standfield from ‘Atlanta’ interrupted him.
He said: “I want to thank everybody for honouring us in this way.
“We worked very hard on ‘Silicon Valley’ and here we are. Thank you.”
Lassally then proceeded with his speech and claimed he didn’t know who the stage invader was.
He quipped: . “I have no idea who that was.”
Other winners on the night included ‘Game of Thrones’, which won Best Drama Series and Alec Baldwin was named Best Guest Performer for his impersonation of President-elect Donald Trump on ‘Saturday Night Live’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kris Jenner paid tribute to her granddaughter Dream Renée as the little girl turned one-month-old.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star left a sweet tribute on Instagram to the newest addition to the family as the little girl – who is the daughter of Rob Kardashian and fiancée Blac Chyna – celebrated her first milestone on Saturday (10.12.16).
In a post on the photo sharing site, she wrote: “This little love bug is 1 month old!!! @dream #blessed #love #family. (sic)”
And Chyna also took to Snapchat to share sweet videos and pictures of her little girl.
In one video, she can be heard saying: “Hi pretty girl. Look at those eyes. Look at those pretty eyes, pretty girl.”
Whilst in another she refers to Dream as “Rob’s twin” and tells her, “You look like your daddy.”
The Kardashian family and Chyna are currently in a dispute after the 28-year-old model tried to trademark the name Angela Renée Kardashian.
In court documents, the family’s attorneys claim the sisters “own and control the rights in the ‘Kardashian’ brand and related trademarks and services marks.”
They added: “[They have] spent, and continue to invest, a substantial amount of time, resources and money in protecting, advertising and promoting the ‘Kardashian’ marks [and] the public has come to associate goods and services bearing the ‘Kardashian’ marks [with them]. She is deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity [of the Kardashians and it is] likely to cause confusion, or to cause mistake, or to deceive consumers.”
However, a source insists there’s no bad blood between the Kardashians and Chyna.
They shared: “Their trademark attorneys automatically oppose anyone trying to trademark ‘Kardashian’. I doubt the girls were even aware. Everyone loves each other. It’s just business.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Oritsé Williams has denied the allegations of rape made against him.
The JLS star was arrested and questioned by police after he was accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman in his hotel room after the pair met at a nightclub in Wolverhampton on December 2.
His management 10 Worlds Music said in a statement: “All we wish to say at this time is that Oritse denies the allegations against him. The matter is in the hands of the police and it would be totally wrong for us to comment any further.”
It was previously reported that the woman told police she was invited back to Oritsé’s hotel room with a friend. When they left to get a taxi home, the woman forgot her handbag and when she returned to the room to retrieve it, that is when she alleges the rape happened.
A police spokeswoman told The Sun on Sunday: “West Midlands Police were called to a Wolverhampton hotel at 7.45am on Friday December 2 after an allegation of rape and sexual assault was made by a 20-year-old woman.
“A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and a 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of sexual assault. Both men have been bailed until February, pending further enquiries.”
JLS – which also includes Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes and JB Gill – rose to fame when they finished as runners-up on talent show ‘The X Factor’ in 2008. Throughout their five year career, they sold over 10 million albums.

OHMYGOSSIP — John Legend “cut the tip of his finger off” in a mandolin accident.
The ‘All of Me’ hitmaker’s wife Chrissy Teigen was less than impressed when he managed to cut his finger whilst the couple were preparing food for a party.
She said: “I gave John the task, and within the first three swipes, he cut the tip of his finger clean off.
“He refused medical attention because of whatever was happening at that point in the game, so I told him to go sit and let me ‘show him how it’s done.'”
However, when the 31-year-old model – who has seven-month-old Luna with John – had a go with the kitchen accessory, she managed to hurt herself too.
She added to Delish magazine: “First swipe – first! – I sliced off the exact same finger tip. We have a great photo of us both at the urgent care centre.”
Meanwhile, John previously claimed Chrissy made him gain weight when she was developing her first cookbook.
He said: “When she’s working on it and I’m home I gain five pounds guaranteed. So, I’m like, sometimes I need to travel so I can lose weight!”
Asked what her best creations are, he said: “It’s kind of like when people do those artichoke dips but it’s got buffalo chicken and cheese and all these other things in it, too. It’s really, really delicious. Chrissy is obviously a great cook.”
And being a new father, John admits he is “learning everyday”.
He said: “I’m a brand new father and I’m learning everyday, I think it focusses you, it makes you prioritise what’s important. It also makes you think about what kind of world your daughter is going to live in, and how you can make that world better.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson has “never been more confident as a woman” since she became a mother.
The ‘Because of You’ hitmaker – who has River Rose, two, and Remington Alexander, seven months, with her husband Brandon Blackstock – feels she is really “nailing it” as a mother.
She said: “I have never been more confident as a woman as I am as a mother. I feel like I am nailing it.”
And the 34-year-old singer is also stepmother to Brandon’s two children – Savannah and Seth – and is very proud of how she balances her family life, career and marriage.
She added: “We have a blended family that is another level of trying to make it work and everyone feeling as equally loved and important. And then also just having a marriage and having a career and having everything. It is a lot.
“I am more confident now because of all these things my life now entails. And when you are put in charge of someone not only as a business – I employ a lot of people – but also there are four lives I am a part of molding, and that is a big responsibility. And with that responsibility, I feel like it kind of brings this different level of like, ‘I’ve got this. I might cry my way through this, this morning but I am going to make it and it is going to be good in the end.'”
And Kelly admits she is a lot more “selfless” now than she was in her 20s as her priorities have changed.
She told Entertainment Tonight: “The Kelly now and the Kelly of my 20s, that is the difference between selfish and selfless. Because when you are 20 you are supposed to be a little selfish and do all your drama. And then in your 30s you have to get [your life] a little more together … Priorities change.
“I used to [think] everything was so important with work. And it is still important, but I am not a brain surgeon so no one is dying on a table if I do not record a song. It is OK if I go to art class with my daughter instead.”

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star – who donned a recreation of the outfit Christina wore in her 2002 music video ‘Dirrty’ for Halloween – dressed up like the singer once again as she attended the star’s 36th birthday party.
Showing off her black and yellow bikini top and trousers, Kylie shared on Snapchat: “When XTINA wants u to dress as XTINA for her bday you do it !!! (sic)”
Christina didn’t want to be outdone as she donned a bright and bold outfit, complete with a candyfloss coloured pink wig.
And it is no surprise Christina asked for Kylie to wear the outfit to her birthday bash as she previously gave the Halloween costume her seal of approval.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman refuses to Google herself.
The ‘Lion’ star has insisted she won’t ever search for herself online but admits to using the search engine’s Earth section to view her own back garden.
She told Variety magazine: “I love where technology is taking us, but you need a balance. I love nature, and I love the slow life as well. The instant gratification of technology can mean you’re missing out on life.”
And the 49-year-old actress most likely doesn’t have the time to surf the web as she previously revealed she is always looking after her family.
Nicole – who has Isabella, 23, and Connor, 21, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise and Faith, five, and Sunday, eight, with her spouse Keith Urban – said: “I still have a very strong relationship with them. I feel maternal to most people. In my family, I’m very much the caretaker. My husband always says, ‘You can’t save the world, Nicole,’ but I think it’s just an inherent part of me.
“The love is abundant, and it doesn’t just evaporate or disappear – it’s just there, and it is a bottomless well. It will always be there, which is a beautiful thing to say to a child, ‘You’ll never be abandoned. The love will always be there for you.’ It’s an important thing to hear that as a child. I beyond need it. Yes, I still need the acknowledgment.”
And Nicole believes feeling love for a child is the “most intense, profound, deeply felt thing” anyone could feel.

OHMYGOSSIP — Rocco Ritchie is reportedly delivering takeaways.
The 16-year-old son of Madonna and Guy Ritchie is said to have taken up a part time job with online food delivery company Deliveroo to “placate his mum and dad”.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “It’s been a bit of a laugh for him and a way to placate his mum and dad until he works out what he wants to do.
“They both agree a bit of discipline and a schedule would do him good, whether that comes from voluntary work or something low paid. He has been looking into working in a local gardening centre.”
Meanwhile, Rocco was arrested in November for possession of marijuana after the drug was allegedly found in his rucksack in Primrose Hill, London.
A source said at the time: “Rocco has become a well-known figure in the area and not for the right reasons. He’s been repeatedly seen acting suspiciously.
“This incident was the final straw. Local residents are fed up with him acting in this manner and called the police.”
And Madonna released a statement in support of her son, adding: “I love my son very much. I will do whatever I can to give him the support that he needs, and I ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
Whilst a Scotland Yard spokesman confirmed: “A 16-year-old has been arrested for possession of cannabis. He was bailed and dealt with by Camden Borough’s Youth Offending Team.”
It is believed Rocco was dealt with by the Triage system, which helps to keep young people, who are arrested for the first time for low level offences, out of the criminal justice system. Rocco is not expected to get a criminal record but may have to attend a series of workshops.

OHMYGOSSIP — Frankie Bridge’s husband Wayne is such a “hands on” father.
The former Saturdays singer is amazed by how well the former footballer has taken to being a stay at home dad for their two children – Parker, three, and Carter, 15 months.
She told Fabulous magazine: “Wayne’s an amazing father and is so hands on and fun. Where we live all the women love him – he’ll take the kids to soft play with some of my female mates.
“Sometimes I’ll catch him talking about formula with other women. He’s better at it that me! He’s changed just as many nappies as I have, and I’m more than happy leaving him to his own devices.”
Meanwhile, Wayne – who also has 10-year-old Jaydon with his ex-partner Vanessa Perroncel – previously admitted he would like more children at some point.
He said: “I’ve got one just out of nappies and I’ve got one who’s probably got a year left in nappies. The last thing I want is another two or three years in nappies. I’d love to have more so if it happens when they’re both at nursery, or at school then great but I really wouldn’t want any before that … I’d love a big family but it is full on. It is full on. I was thinking about getting a job at Waitrose just so I didn’t have to take care of the kids for a while.”
And Wayne recently confessed he and his wife rarely have time for sex now they are parents.
He said: “All I’m saying is before you have babies you should try everything you want to try. Even after babies it should be up there – it only drops because you aren’t having the amount you were having because you’ve got kids.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Tomlinson was joined by his One Direction bandmates as he celebrated the life of his late mother on Saturday night (10.12.16).
Just hours after he had taken to the ‘X Factor’ stage to perform his debut single ‘Just Hold On’ with Steve Aoki, the 24-year-old singer was spotted at London’s Cirque Le Soir with his sister Lottie and his bandmates Liam Payne and Niall Horan as they all had a drink in remembrance of Johannah Deakin, who passed away earlier this week after a secret battle with leukaemia.
A source told the MailOnline: “It was family and friends drinks in Cirque, all paid for by Johannah’s husband Dan. It was a celebration of her life and his X Factor performance. It was a very emotional night.”
Louis was joined by Niall, Liam and Harry Styles in his dressing room backstage at ‘The X Factor’, with the group having flown in from around the world to be with him.
An insider shared previously: “Harry, Niall and Liam all came down to X Factor to support Louis. They all were backstage with him supporting him. It was a lovely moment – and shows the unity of 1D. First time all back together in a year.
“It was a lovely touching moment backstage and they all came to support Louis during a horrible time. Niall even flew back from New York.”
Following his performance, Louis took to Twitter to admit it was “harder than he ever imagined”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy Osbourne are to renew their wedding vows for the second time.
The 64-year-old television personality has revealed her husband – who she briefly split from in May after he cheated on her – has asked for the couple to say ‘I do’ again.
She said: “I’m happy and to be honest that’s all I want for Christmas this year. Ozzy has asked me to renew our wedding vows and I’d like to.”
And Sharon admits their careers have got in the way of their relationship at times.
She added to The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “In my life I have been so blessed but when one side of your life is so brilliant other things can suffer. It is hard when you are both successful and both working away.
“It is easy to take each other for granted. We have been married for 35 years and been together 38 years. You have to have some ups and downs.”
Meanwhile, Sharon previously admitted she spent 25 years trying to “fix” her husband’s addictions.
She said: “It took me years and years to actually realise that I would think, ‘I can fix it, I can do it. Because I love him so much. I can make my husband stop using drugs and alcohol. He’ll do it for me. I know he’ll do it.’
And then it took me a good 25 years to actually realise that you can’t do a damn thing. Nothing. They say that you can’t get better until you find your spiritual health. It’s, like, the major part.”
And Sharon insists everything is going good for the pair now.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bob Dylan was shocked to be awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.
The ‘Blowin’ in the Wind’ hitmaker did not attend the ceremony in Sweden on Saturday (10.12.16) to collect his prize, but in a speech, read out by the US ambassador to Sweden, he admitted it was “something I never could have imagined or seen coming”.
The speech went on to explain that when he first heard he had won the prize – which comes with £750,000 – he thought of William Shakespeare.
He said: “When he was writing ‘Hamlet’, I’m sure he was thinking about a lot of different things: ‘Who’re the right actors for these roles? How should this be staged? Do I really want to set this in Denmark?’
“His creative vision and ambitions were no doubt at the forefront of his mind, but there were also more mundane matters to consider and deal with. ‘Is the financing in place? Are there enough good seats for my patrons? Where am I going to get a human skull?’ I would bet that the farthest thing from Shakespeare’s mind was the question: ‘Is this literature?’
“Like Shakespeare, I too am often occupied with the pursuit of my creative endeavors and dealing with all aspects of life’s mundane matters. ‘Who are the best musicians for these songs? Am I recording in the right studio? Is this song in the right key?’ Some things never change, even in 400 years. Not once have I ever had the time to ask myself ‘are my songs literature?’ So, I do thank the Swedish academy, both for taking the time to consider that very question and ultimately, for providing such a wonderful answer.”
Patti Smith performed Dylan’s ‘A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall’ at the ceremony in his absence.
Horace Engdahl, a Swedish literary critic and member of the Swedish academy behind the prize, defended the choice of Bob as the recipient, saying: “It seemed daring only beforehand and already seems obvious.
“What brings about the great shifts in the world of literature? Often it is when someone seizes upon a simple, overlooked form, discounted as art in the high sense, and makes it mutate.
“In the distant past, all poetry was sung or tunefully recited. He panned poetry gold, whether on purpose or by accident is irrelevant … He gave back to poetry its elevated style, lost since the romantics.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Starting a family will make Cheryl Fernandez Versini “really happy”.
The 33-year-old singer is expecting her first child with boyfriend Liam Payne, 23, and ‘The X Factor’ judge Louis Walsh – who has had run-ins with both Cheryl and Liam in the past- believes having a baby will make her truly happy.
He told the Daily Star: “I think Cheryl and Liam starting a family will make her really happy. I honestly think she deserves to be happy.
“And I think this will make her happy over and above what her career does.
“Liam’s a nice guy. I have nothing bad to say about them.
“I don’t think being a mum will affect her career at all if she doesn’t want it to. It’s never too late. I only wish her the best.”
Louis’ comments come after Liam slammed him for telling a reporter to “f**k off” when asked about the possibility of Cheryl returning to the ‘X Factor’s judging panel in the future.
Liam tweeted: “Congratulations Louis Walsh for setting the worst example on handling media for his band who are about to step into a very hard industry.
“Maybe it’s about time you realise it’s not all about you and shut the f**k up for once, let them speak (sic)”.
Louis has previously slammed Liam and his One Direction bandmates for believing “the hype around them”.
He said of the group, which were put together on ‘The X Factor’ in 2010: “We create monsters in the music business – they only become famous because they’ve been on the show and we got you those songs.
“They’re lucky f**kers, but some get a sense of entitlement and believe the hype. Too many artists appear to forget where they came from.”

OHMYGOSSIP — JLS star Oritsé Williams has been arrested and questioned by police after being accused of rape.
The 30-year-old singer – who shot to fame on ‘The X Factor’- has been accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman in his hotel room after they met at Gorgeous nightclub in Wolverhampton on December 2, where he was promoting his remixed 2015 album ‘Waterline’.
The Sun on Sunday reports that the woman told police she and a friend were invited back to Oritsé’s hotel room, where they enjoyed some drinks with him and another male pal.
When they later left to get a taxi home, she went back to retrieve a handbag she had left behind and alleges this is when the rape took place.
A police spokeswoman told paper: “West Midlands Police were called to a Wolverhampton hotel at 7.45am on Friday December 2 after an allegation of rape and sexual assault was made by a 20-year-old woman.
“A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and a 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
“Both men have been bailed until February, pending further enquiries.”
Oritsé’s representatives have not responded to the publication’s request for comment.
JLS – which also featured Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes and JB Gill – finished as runners-up on The X-Factor in 2008.
They went on to have a successful career, selling over 10 million albums, before they split in 2013.
