OHMYGOSSIP — Charlie Hunnam showered his girlfriend with emeralds to make up for ignoring her for 11 months.
The ‘Sons of Anarchy’ star cut all contact with Morgana McNelis during the filming of his new movie ‘Lost City of Z’ in South America, but realised he’d have to come up with a huge gesture to get back into his beloved’s good books upon his return.
He explained to Us Weekly: “We went to Colombia, and the mail system doesn’t really work very well. It’s completely unreliable. I received a letter from her, and I realised that from the tone of it and things she was saying that she hadn’t received the two letters that I sent before.”
Charlie acknowledged that neglecting the blonde beauty for so long made him “sound like a total bastard” but he was “appropriately very apologetic” and found some “rather lovely and somewhat cheap emeralds” that are native to Colombia.
And to make up for being a sub-standard boyfriend, the 36-year-old hunk splurged on the load full of the glittering green gems.
He went on: “My girlfriend is a jewellery designer, so I was able to come back with an appropriately sized gift. It didn’t remedy all of the trouble I was in, but it got me halfway there.”
Meanwhile, Charlie recently completed filming Guy Ritchie’s upcoming movie ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’ and met David Beckham – who had a cameo in the movie – on set.
The 36-year-old actor was bowled over by how “awesome” he was and said he now “genuinely loves” the retired soccer star.
He said: “[David] Beckham was awesome. I mean, I genuinely love that guy. I loved working with him. He was great.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Meek Mill will be paid $200,000 to perform at a New Year’s Eve (31.12.16) party in Miami.
The 29-year-old rapper – who is dating Nicki Minaj – has been offered the huge sum to entertain guests at Dream Nightclub in South Beach.
TMZ reports that Meek will also receive $20,000 for expenses and he and his entourage will stay refreshed with “10 bottles of Ace of Spades, five bottles of Moet Nectar Rosé and some Hennessy and tequila”.
Varsity Lifestyle Group is throwing the party, where tickets range from $60 up to $10,000 for VIP packages.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez recently pulled out of her $1 million New Year’s Eve concert at the E11even nightclub in Miami in order to reported spend some time with her rumoured new love, and Mill’s rival, Drake.
Her representatives said in a statement: “Citing personal and family time, Jennifer Lopez’s manager Benny Medina has cancelled her Miami appearance on New Year’s Eve.
“Having attended the event last year, artist and management look forward to rescheduling the appearance at E11even in the future.”
Drake and Jennifer have been spending a great deal of time together lately and he recently shut down Delilah restaurant in Los Angeles for them to have a private meal with 20 close friends.
Drake has also attended the star’s ‘Jennifer Lopez: All I Have’ show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas twice recently.
Nicki and Meek have fought in the past over Drake, who is signed to the same label as Nicki.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jesy Nelson has reportedly started dating a new man, just weeks after splitting from her fiancé Jake Roche.
The Little Mix singer and Rixton frontman were rumoured to have separated in November and the break-up was confirmed by Jake’s mother Coleen Nolan on UK daytime TV show ‘Loose Women’.
It seems as though Jesy has already moved on from the relationship, as she was spotted in Paris, France, at the same time as her bandmate Perrie Edwards on Wednesday (21.12.16) shortly after Perrie’s new boyfriend, Arsenal soccer player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and his pal Bradley Churchill travelled there by private jet.
According to The Sun, Bradley is best friends with Alex and it was the sportsman who introduced Jesy to him.
Jesy, 25, has been seen out and about with the businessman – who resides in London and Dubai – Perrie, 23, and Alex, 23, more than once in recent weeks.
The foursome enjoyed a night of bowling at London’s All Star Lanes on December 3 and just a week later, Bradley and Alex were special guests of the Little Mix stars when they returned to ‘The X Factor’ stage to perform a raunchy rendition on their latest hit ‘Shout Out To My Ex’.

OHMYGOSSIP — James Franco thinks “getting to know the parents” in a long-term relationship is important.
The 38-year-old actor stars as vulgar billionaire Laird Mayhew in the upcoming comedy movie ‘Why Him?’ – which follows the story of Laird meeting his girlfriend’s parents during the holiday season – and has said that he always meets the parents of his partners when the relationship gets more serious, and finds it “much better” if they get along.
He said: “My longer relationships, yeah, I get to know the parents. There have been parents that I like, and parents that like me, and then others that I just do not get along with. If you’re in a long-term relationship, it can be a major factor. So it’s much better when you get along.”
Meanwhile, James’ co-star Bryan Cranston – who plays Ned, the father of Laird’s girlfriend – said the best thing to do when meeting the parents is to “get the mom to like you”.
He said: “You need to get the mom to like you, if you’re a guy. That’s the target. Just give up on the dad, he’s not going to like you anyway.”
But 60-year-old Bryan – who has 23-year-old daughter Taylor with his wife Robin Dearden – doesn’t think meeting the family is as important as it was when he was dating, as young people “hook up on their own” these days.
Speaking to USA Today, Bryan said: “It’s different. When I was a kid I used to have to go to the house of the girl you want to take out and I’d have to meet her parents. It was, ‘Hello, nice to meet you, how are you, (we’ll) be back at 12!’ (Now) it’s like the kids all hang out together, and they’ll separate and hook up on their own.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bill Murray is opening a golf-themed sports bar inspired by his hit comedy film ‘Caddyshack’.
The Hollywood legend is planning to build a pub in Chicago in the US based on the movie in which he played teenager Danny Noonan, who works as a caddie at the fictional Bushwood County Club.
The 66-year-old star has teamed up with his five brothers – comprising of Brian, John, Ed, Andy and Joel – on the venture and they’ve nabbed a “verbal agreement” for an 11,000 square foot space inside the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the village of Rosemont to house the bar, according to the Daily Herald newspaper.
The siblings worked as caddies at Indian Hill Club in Illinois, US, in the 1960s and 70s to fund their education and their experiences inspired the eldest Murray brother, Brian, 71, to co-write ‘Caddyshack’ with Douglas Kenney and Harold Ramis and it went on to become a cult classic which is widely regarded as one of the greatest sports films of all time.
‘Caddyshack’ was Murray’s second Hollywood film after 1979’s ‘Meatballs’ and sealed his status as an internationally renowned comedy star.
All of the brothers – who also have sisters Nancy, Peggy and Laura – have continued to be life-long golfing fans and were even inducted into the Caddie Hall of Fame last year.
The bar will mimic the theme and style of the country club in the movie however, it isn’t the first Caddyshack bar to be made as one was already set up by the brothers in 2001 in St. Augustine, Florida.
The restaurant’s mantra is to “eat, drink and be Murray” and has a giant golf ball figurehead out front which has been designed to look like it has crashed into the building.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj “idolises” Beyoncé’s “fairy tale lifestyle”.
The 34-year-old rapper is reportedly “bothered” by the fact that her friends are all settling down with their families, and would love to have that life for herself, especially one that echoes the life of 35-year-old Beyoncé – who is happily married to fellow rapper Jay Z, and shares four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with him.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: “All of Nicki’s friends are either married, engaged, or having kids – and that bothers the hell out of her.
“She idolises Beyoncé especially, and would love to have a ballin’ husband, a beautiful child, and live that fairy tale lifestyle that all girls dream of.”
But the ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker might not be able to get her hands on her dream life just yet, as she has reportedly split with her 29-year-old boyfriend Meek Mill.
Nicki sparked split rumours earlier this week after she posted a cryptic message on her Instagram account earlier this week by quoting Beyoncé’s 2011 break-up ballad ‘Best Thing I Never Had’.
She wrote: “Thank God u blew it. Thank God I dodged the bullet. I’m so over u. Baby good lookin out. #BestThingUNeverHad. (sic)”
The suspicious post lead to Meek – whose real name is Robert Rihmeek Williams – deleting his Instagram account completely.
The news that there may be trouble in paradise for the pair will no doubt come as a surprise to fans as just last weekend, the duo were seen arriving to the Gold Room in Atlanta, Georgia, together.
The couple first started dating in 2015 and a few months later hinted that they were engaged when the 34-year-old beauty was spotted wearing a huge diamond sparkler on her ring finger.
However, she later confirmed that she and Meek were not planning to get hitched and the hip-hop artist is merely “this boy that likes me”.

The 26-year-old actor and his 24-year-old fiancée Miley are getting into the Christmas spirit ahead of the holiday season as they headed off to spend the festive season with Miley’s family, including her parents as well as her siblings.
Brandi Cyrus, Miley’s older sister, took to Instagram to post a photo of Liam with the family – which also featured Miley’s mother Tish and father Billy, as well as siblings Trace, Noah, and Braison – which was captioned: “Cyrus fam Christmas in full swing (sic)”
Meanwhile, the ‘We Can’t Stop’ singer took to Instagram to post her own collection of photos, although none of them featured the ‘Hunger Games’ actor.
Instead, the blonde beauty focused on her family’s pets, posting a video of her cuddling up to 16-year-old Noah’s dog Sammy.

OHMYGOSSIP — Katherine Heigl’s “basketball” sized baby bump is making it tricky for her to shoot sex scenes for her new TV show ‘Doubt’.
The 38-year-old actress is expecting a baby with her husband Josh Kelley but for her role as defence attorney Sadie Ellis she has to get steamy with her co-star Steven Pasquale, who plays a client who her character falls for.
Now, with Katherine in her third trimester, her swollen stomach is getting in the way of their fictional lovemaking for the programme which will air from February on CBS.
Speaking to ‘Extra’, she spilled: “There’s just this basketball between us. I’m like, ‘I’m so sorry, so awkward!’ and he was lovely, but you don’t feel beautiful, really. It can get a little steamy, but with this situation it can’t get that steamy.”
Katherine – who is already a mother of two adopted children, daughters Naleigh, seven, and Adelaide, four – has enjoyed every aspect of her pregnancy, although she has been shocked by how big her butt has got.
She said: “I feel great. It’s been a really easy pregnancy and I had no idea what to expect … It’s been kind of great. Everything’s just expanding. I don’t understand why it has to go both ways. What does my butt have to do with any of this?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Laurence Fox says he will remain “great mates” with ex-girlfriend Vogue Williams despite their split.
The 38-year-old actor was first reported to have struck up a blossoming romance with the 30-year-old model just a few months ago, and although their brief relationship ended last week, Laurence says the pair will continue to be friends.
Speaking about his relationship with Vogue – whom he first developed a friendship with on TV show ‘Bear Grylls: Mission Survive’ last year – the ‘Lewis’ actor said: “We’re just really great mates. We have always just been good mates before [meeting on] ‘Bear Grylls: Mission Survive’ and we continue to be really great mates.
“There’s no other else really to say, but we’re just great friends.”
The romance for the pair came after Laurence split from his wife Billie Piper, 34, with whom he shares two sons, Winston, eight, and Eugene, four.
Laurence and Billie got married on December 31 in 2007, but now the ‘Becoming Jane’ actor says he’s never been a “huge fan” of New Year’s Eve, which falls on the same day.
He said of his holiday plans: “I’ve got a feeling it might be quite a quiet one for me … I’ve never really been a huge New Year’s Eve fan so it isn’t going to be the kind of celebration that it’s been in the past.

OHMYGOSSIP — Camila Cabello reportedly left Fifth Harmony because the remaining members were “jealous” of her.
The 19-year-old singer split from her former band mates – Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, and Dinah Jane – earlier this week, and new sources have claimed that jealousy between the girls caused the rift that eventually pushed Camila out of the band.
A source told Billboard magazine: “This all [stems from] the girls’ jealousy. You’ve read this story a million times.”
It has also been reported that the feelings of jealousy between band members – who were put together by US talent competition ‘The X Factor’ in 2012 – has been ongoing since Demi Lovato named Camila as the “one person that shined” within the group.
In a video that was resurfaced by JustJared.com, Demi – who was a judge on the show at the time – said to the girls after a performance of Taylor Swift’s ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’: “The thing is I know you guys have potential because I saw your performance at the judges’ homes, and that’s when you guys really shined.

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Andre played his wedding song to his wife Emily while she was having a Caesarean section.
The ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker was devastated his doctor spouse wasn’t able to give birth to their second child – a baby boy named Theodore – naturally because the little one was breech and losing weight, but he tried to ease her by blasting their special track while she was on the operating table.
He explained: “I played out wedding song ‘Songbird’ by Eva Cassidy but it started us all of blubbing before we’d even started.”
Emily added: “I was like: ‘Guys, we have to put something else on, I’m trying to be brave here! The last thing I need is to burst into tears.”
Peter concluded: “So I put on ‘Celebration’ by Kool & The Gang’.”
The 43-year-old singer – who already has two-year-old daughter Amelia with Emily and Junior, 11, and Princess, nine, with his ex-wife Katie Price – was thrilled when he found his little one was a boy.
He said: “I was praying for a boy because I had a girl last time. Being a doctor, I knew Emily secretly knew but I had no idea. Although I suspected it was a boy because we went for a scan when we were in Cyprus and the doctor said to me: ‘What would make you happy’ and when I said a boy, he said: ‘Ah, it’s good to see everyone happy.”
And Peter struggled to hold back the tears when he first locked eyes on his beautiful blue-eyed boy.
He added to OK! Magazine: “I got emotional seeing my baby for the first time, but I also saw Ems going through so much trauma. I had the greatest gift in the world but Ems had just been through hell!”

The 27-year-old singer has given Krista Santiago a key to his Los Angeles home because he wants to prove that he is committed to the brunette beauty.

“I think I was a lot (more) … rambunctious, very hyper as a kid but, now seeing that 10 times over, my daughter’s kinda, like, mellowing me out … That’s the best part of being a dad, doing those little things. Bedtime is crazy for me ’cause I always was like … trying to avoid bedtime when I was a kid, like, ‘No, mum, just 15 more minutes, please!’ So I’ll keep like the kids’ channel on and turn it all the way low and turn all the lights out, and, you know, I’ll lay in the bed with her and, like, rub her back until she actually falls asleep. OHMYGOSSIP — Mel C worried about letting Spice Girls fans down by not being a part of their reunion plans.
The ‘Northern Star’ singer had mixed feelings about whether or not to reunite with former bandmates Mel C, Mel B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton for their 20th anniversary, as she worried about putting herself under pressure and scrutiny, but didn’t want to leave people feeling disappointed.
She said: “At the start of the year, I was in limbo. I’d been working on a solo album but the Spice Girls’ 20th anniversary was looming and we’d talked about doing something to celebrate.
“Choosing between the two was a really hard decision to make.
“Financially I’d have done really well out of a reunion, but more importantly, I didn’t want to let the girls or our fanbase down.
“These days, people who were fans at a very young age approach me all the time anf tell me we inspired them in their careers or gave them the confidence to come out as gay.
“We were such a big part of so many people’s childhoods and that’s the thing I’m most proud of.”
As well as her fears about returning to the group, Mel was also put off the reunion because Victoria Beckham didn’t want to be involved.
She added: “At the same time, I had concerns about Victoria not being involved and started having second thoughts.
“When I’m a solo artist, my life is my own but when you become part of the group again, it’s much higher profile.
“You become part of something you can’t control. In the past, I haven’t always enjoyed that level of pressure and exposure.
“One day I woke up and realised I couldn’t do it. First I called Emma, who has always been my closest friend in the band, then I told the others.”
And Mel – who has seven-year-old daughter Scarlet with ex-partner Thomas Starr – admits deciding not to take part in the anniversary celebrations was “life-changing” for her.
She told Grazia magazine: “Afterwards I felt a huge relief. It was a life-changing decision to put myself first.
“In my younger years, I often felt other people knew better or wanted to keep the piece.
“Being a mum to a little girl means I have to set a good example and treat myself better than I used to.

OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna is reportedly “not invited” to the Kardashian family Christmas party.
The 28-year-old model might be the mother of Rob Kardashian’s one-month-old daughter Dream, but she has reportedly been left off the guest list for Kris Jenner’s annual holiday bash over the weekend as the family “can’t stand” the constant fighting between the new parents.
A source told People magazine: “Rob’s family is over Chyna. She is not invited to Kris’ holiday party.
“Rob’s family is trying to distance themselves from Chyna. They can’t stand the toxic relationship. They very much care about baby Dream though. It’s just come to the point when they think Rob is better off without being in a relationship with Chyna.”
And it’s not the first time the Kardashian clan have been upset with the ‘Rob & Chyna’ stars’ antics, as a source told the publication earlier this week that the famous family “don’t support” the relationship.

OHMYGOSSIP — Alan Thicke died from a “ruptured aorta”.
The ‘Growing Pains’ actor suffered a heart attack while playing hockey with his 19-year-old son Carter a week ago and his death certificate confirms that he died a few hours later from the ruptured aorta, TMZ reports.
Doctors performed surgery to open up the area around the heart and lungs for the 69-year-old actor but were unsuccessful and he passed away at Providence St. Joseph’s medical facility in Burbank, California.
Meanwhile, Tanya Callau, Alan’s wife, broke her silence to thank fans for the “outpouring of love” after his funeral this week.
In a statement released to E! News, she said: “It is with gut wrenching sadness and unbelievable grief that I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring of love and support during this unimaginable time.
“Through tears and smiles our dearest of family and friends came together at our home to celebrate the life of my sweet and devoted husband Alan Thicke. Along with my step sons and our combined extended family, we laid my beloved husband, soul mate and the patriarch of our family to rest. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time of profound mourning.”
Her statement came after Alan’s showbiz friends including Bob Saget, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kris Jenner joined the late actor’s family at a memorial service over the weekend.
An attendee said: “The mood was very upbeat, it was more like a fun Vanity Fair Oscars party than a memorial. All of the speeches were fun and full of life. It was just the way Alan would have wanted it, more of a celebration of his life. Everyone was expressing how much they love him. It was truly amazing and straight out of a scene from a Hollywood movie.”
During the celebration of Alan’s life, Leonardo made a speech where he thanked the star for being like a father figure to all of the ‘Growing Pains’ cast whilst Bill Maher showed off the ‘Thicke of the Night’ t-shirt he was gifted by the late actor.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jim Carrey has branded the STD claims in his wrongful death lawsuit as “irrelevant”.
The 54-year-old actor has been caught in an ongoing legal battle since Brigid Sweetman – the mother of his late ex-girlfriend Cathriona White – filed a lawsuit claiming that her daughter took her own life after she realised the star had given her three sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
Now, the ‘Bruce Almighty’ star has filed his own response, claiming that because the STDs were reported to have happened two years prior to Cathriona’s death, they had no impact on her eventual suicide and should therefore be thrown out of court.
The documents obtained by E! News read: “A part of their attempt to shakedown Carrey for a multi-million-dollar payday, Sweetman and her attorney have riddled the Complaint with severe ad hominem attacks and allegations about STDs, none of which are relevant to the cause of death.
“Hence, none of these allegations belong in the Complaint.”
And the documents go on to state that Cathriona – who overdosed on Ambien, Propranolol, and Percocet in September 2015 – left the ‘Dumb and Dumber’ actor “two suicide notes”, and never once mentioned her mother.
They read: “White left Carrey two suicide notes speaking lovingly to him, requesting his forgiveness for ending her own life, describing him, and him alone, as her ‘family’, and entrusting him to divide her property.”
Brigid’s lawsuit against the actor is the second he has faced surrounding Cathriona, as he was previously hit with a court document from her estranged husband Mark Burton, who claimed the star supplied her with the drugs that caused her death.
Mark’s lawyer Mark Avenatti said: “We look forward to the facts and evidence supporting these serious allegations.
“We will also be requesting that the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office investigate the conduct concerning these drugs.”
