OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande was left feeling “sick and objectified” after an encounter with a male fan.
The 23-year-old singer took to Twitter on Wednesday (28.12.16) to share a lengthy post in which she spoke about a fan she had met whilst out with her boyfriend Mac Miller. In the note, the ‘Dangerous Woman’ hitmaker details how the fan told Mac he could see him “hitting that” in reference to Ariana, which she says left her feeling “hurt”.
The note reads: “went to pick up food with my boyfriend tonight and a young boy followed us to the car to tell Mac that he’s a big fan.
“He was loud and excited and by the time M was seated in the drivers seat he was literally almost in the car with us. I thought all of this was cute and exciting until he said ‘Ariana is sexy as hell man I see you, I see you hitting that!!!’

“This may not seem like a big deal to some of you but I felt sick and objectified. I was also sitting right there when he said it. (?)
“I’ve felt really quiet and hurt since that moment. Things like happen all the time and are the kind of moments that contribute to women’s sense of fear and inadequacy. I am not a piece of meat that a man gets to utilize for his pleasure. I’m an adult human being in a relationship with a man who treats me with love and respect.
“It hurts my heart that so many young people are so comfortable using these phrases and objectifying women with such ease.
And the ‘Side to Side’ singer went on to state the she spoke out about this example in particular as she feels the need to “share and be vocal” so that acts such as this one don’t continue.
She wrote: “I felt like speaking out about this once experience tonight because I know very well that most women know the sensation of being spoken about in an uncomfortable way publicly or taken advantage of publicly by a man. We need to talk about these moments openly because they are harmful and they live on inside of us as shame. We need to share and be vocal when something makes us feel uncomfortable because if we don’t, it will just continue. We are not objects or prizes. We are QUEENS. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tina Fey feels “very sad” in the wake of Carrie Fisher’s untimely death.
The ‘Star Wars’ actress – who played the iconic Princess Leia in the famous film franchise – passed away on Tuesday (27.12.16) at the age of 60 after suffering from a heart attack, and the ‘Saturday Night Live’ star has said Carrie “meant a lot” to her.
Writing in a statement for Time Magazine, the 46-year-old actress said: “Carrie Fisher meant a lot to me. Like many women my age, Princess Leia occupies about sixty percent of my brain at any given time. But Carrie’s honest writing and her razor-sharp wit were an even greater gift. I feel so lucky that I got to meet her. I’m very sad she is gone.”
Tina’s tribute to Carrie comes as celebrities flooded in to pay they respects for the late star, including Mark Hamill, who starred alongside her as Luke Skywalker in ‘Star Wars’.
Uploading an old black and white picture of himself with Carrie, Mark simply wrote: “No words #Devastated (sic)”
Reacting to the news, William Shatner shared: “I’m deeply saddened to learn of the death of Carrie Fisher. I will miss our banterings. A wonderful talent & light has been extinguished.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristin Cavallari has slammed her social media haters.
The former ‘The Hills’ star has hit out at those who send her hate on Twitter or Instagram and says they are “coming from an insecure place”.
She told People magazine: “People always say stuff to me on Instagram and you just have to remember that people who are going to comment [stuff like that], they’re obviously coming from an insecure place.
“When you’re happy with your life and everything’s cool, you’re not going to go and try to put someone else down. So just remember, it’s not about you, it’s about them, and all you have to do is block them and delete the comments.”
And the 29-year-old television personality – who has Camden, four, Jaxon, two, and Saylor, 13 months, with her husband Jay Cutler – previously admitted she is “proud of the way” she has raised her children.
She shared: “I’m very comfortable with being a mom, and I’m proud of the way that we’ve raised our kids. I’ve done a few controversial things apparently, but I’m so confident in my decisions and my kids are happy and healthy, and that’s all I care about.

OHMYGOSSIP — Hilaria Baldwin’s obsession with dancing caused her to suffer from anorexia and bulimia.
The 32-year-old star developed a passion for latin and ballroom dancing when she was a young girl but admits it had an affect on how she perceived her body.
She shared: “Without realising it, I started drifting away from the playful connection to movement I’d enjoyed as a young child and into a different and darker kind of dynamic: pushing my body to its limits and commanding it to perform through pain or fatigue. A long simmering struggle with anorexia and bulimia began to hold me firmly in its grip.
“By the time I was 20 years old, my 5-foot-3 frame was at least 20 lbs. under a healthy weight. My nails were brittle, my hair was falling out, my period was MIA, and my energy had tanked. I was miserable and desperate to feel better.”
And when Hilaria – who has Carmen Gabriela, three, Rafael Thomas, 18 months, and Leonardo Ángel Charles, three months, with her husband Alec Baldwin – discovered yoga, she thought it would make things better but she still found herself pushing her body to the limit as she tried to become a yoga instructor and follow her dream of opening her own studio.
Writing in her book ‘The Living Clearly Method’, she added: “I wish I could say that it was smooth sailing from this point on, but sometimes things have to get a whole lot worse before they get better. Even while I was helping so many others, I still didn’t listen to my body. Extraordinarily long days became my reality; skipping meals was par for the course.”

OHMYGOSSIP — George Michael’s family and friends are “touched beyond words” by the support they have received in the wake of his untimely death.
The ‘Careless Whisper’ hitmaker tragically passed away on Christmas Day (25.12.16) at the age of 53 but close relatives and pals of George have been amazed by the “outpouring of love” from the singer’s fans.
His publicist said in a statement: “The family and close friends of George have been touched beyond words by the incredible outpouring of love for him in the hours and days since his death.
“For someone whose life was ultimately about his music and the love he had for his family and friends, his fans and the world at large, there could be no more fitting tribute than the many, many, kind words that have been said and the numerous plays his records have received.
“Contrary to some reports, there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death, and from the bottom of our hearts we thank those who, rightly, have chosen to celebrate his life and legacy at this most distressing of times.”
The statement comes after George’s partner Fadi Fawaz revealed he found the singer dead at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, South East England when he went to wake him up on Christmas morning.
Writing on Twitter, he said: “ITs a xmas i will never forget finding your partner dead peacefully in bed first thing in the morning.. I will never stop missing you xx (sic)”
Speaking in an interview, he added: “We were supposed to be going for Christmas lunch. I went round there to wake him up and he was just gone, lying peacefully in bed. We don’t know what happened yet.
“Everything had been very complicated recently, but George was looking forward to Christmas, and so was I. Now everything is ruined. I want people to remember him the way he was – he was a beautiful person.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Harrison Ford has remembered the “fearless” Carrie Fisher.
The ‘Star Wars’ actor – who plays Han Solo in the science fiction film franchise – has paid tribute to his co-star after she passed away on Tuesday (27.12.16) at the age of 60.
He said in a statement: “Carrie was one-of-a-kind, brilliant, original. Funny and emotionally fearless.
“She lived her life, bravely … My thoughts are with her daughter Billie, her mother Debbie, her brother Todd, and her many friends. We will all miss her.”
And George Lucas – who is the creator of ‘Star Wars’ and chose to cast Carrie as Princess Leia in ‘Star Wars: A New Hope’ in 1977 – praised Carrie’s “very colourful personality”.
He shared: “Carrie and I have been friends most of our adult lives. She was extremely smart; a talented actress, writer and comedienne with a very colourful personality that everyone loved. In ‘Star Wars’, she was our great and powerful princess – feisty, wise and full of hope in a role that was more difficult than most people might think. My heart and prayers are with Billie, Debbie and all Carrie’s family, friends and fans. She will be missed by all.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has paid tribute to her “very special friend” Carrie Fisher.
The 63-year-old film producer spoke of the “indomitable spirit, incredible wit and loving heart” of the actress, who passed away on Tuesday (27.12.16) after suffering a heart attack.
Kathleen said in a statement: “Carrie holds such special place in the hearts of everyone at Lucasfilm it is difficult to think of a world without her. She was Princess Leia to the world but a very special friend to all of us.
“She had an indomitable spirit, incredible wit, and a loving heart. Carrie also defined the female hero of our age over a generation ago. Her groundbreaking role as Princess Leia served as an inspiration of power and confidence for young girls everywhere. We will miss her dearly.”
And Disney CEO Bob Iger also remembered the actress, who he dubbed as “one of a kind”.
He shared: “Carrie Fisher was one of a kind, a true character who shared her talent and her truth with us all with her trademark wit and irreverence.

Meanwhile, it was previously revealed Carrie had finished filming for the next instalment of the science fiction franchise, ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’, before she passed away.
An official at Lucasfilm told TMZ that Carrie had “absolutely wrapped” on the movie – which is slated for release in December 2017 – but says it is too early to tell how her untimely passing would affect the film franchise in the future.

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Fisher had already wrapped filming for ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ when she passed away.
The actress was just 60-years-old when she died on Tuesday (27.12.16) after suffering a heart attack but an official has told TMZ that she had already finished filming the next instalment of the science fiction franchise, in which she played Princess Leia.
The official from Lucasfilms said Carrie was “absolutely wrapped” on the new movie but said it was too early to know how her untimely death would affect future movies.
Carrie passed away four days after she stopped breathing on a flight from London to Los Angeles on Friday (23.12.16). Whilst onboard, she was given CPR by staff, doctors and nurses before she was rushed to UCLA Medical Centre.
Brad Gage, who was on the flight, tweeted at the time: “I’m in complete shock. @AnnaAkana and I sat in front of Carrie Fisher on our flight from London and she was just taken off the plane by EMTs … I don’t know what happened. Not really sure what to do right now but I hope she is ok. I hope she is ok. (sic)”
Whilst Anna Akana, who was also on board, wrote on her own account: “Don’t know how else to process this but Carrie Fisher stopped breathing on the flight home. Hope she’s gonna be OK … So many thanks to the United flight crew who jumped into action, and the awesome doctor and nurse passengers who helped … Feel weird even tweeting about it but I JUST finished her book and was fangirling out over seeing her dog Gary in person. The 84-year-old actress has taken to social media to post a sweet tribute message for her late daughter, who suffered a heart attack and passed away earlier this morning.
She wrote on her Facebook account: “Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter.

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Fisher reportedly never regained consciousness after she was admitted to hospital on Friday (23.12.16).
The ‘Star Wars’ actress – who passed away on Tuesday (27.12.16) at the age of 60 after suffering a heart attack – was rushed to UCLA Medical Centre last week after she stopped breathing on a flight from London to Los Angeles.
TMZ reports that Carrie’s condition did not improve since she was whisked off the flight and taken to hospital.
The actress’ tragic death was confirmed by family spokesman Simon Halls in a statement, where he spoke on behalf of Carrie’s daughter Billie Lourd.
He said: “It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning. She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.”
Earlier in the week, Carrie’s brother Todd Fisher said the star was still being treated in the intensive care unit at the facility in Los Angeles.
He shared at the time: “She’s in the ICU and everybody’s praying for her. There’s nothing new from the doctors. There’s nothing new at all … There’s no good news or bad news.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Garry Shandling died from a blood clot.
The comedian and actor – who was best known as alter ego Larry Sanders – passed away in March 2016 and the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has finally ruled the cause of death over nine months after he passed.
An autopsy report released by TMZ states that Garry died of pulmonary thrombosis after a blood clot made its way from his leg to his lungs. His death was ruled as an “accident” and “natural”.
The documents also confirmed Garry “complained of leg pain and shortness of breath” the day before he passed away and was encouraged to go to see the doctor by a friend.
Autopsy results also revealed Garry had Xanax, oxycodone and hydrocodone in his system when he died.
Ed Winter, the Assistant Chief Coroner, previously revealed Garry had refused to get medical attention for his shortness of breath and collapsed 45 minutes later.
He shared at the time: “[His friend] stopped by that night, and Garry didn’t want any medical attention. Garry said he would get checked out, and he collapsed 45 minutes later.”
Garry’s life was celebrated with a game of basketball where his pals including Judd Apatow, Ryan Phillippe, Sarah Silverman, Kathy Griffin, Bill Maher, Jeffery Tambor, Kevin Nealon, Breckin Meyer and Jesse Bradford gathered at his home to pay tribute to the late star.
Posting a picture of the group on Instagram, Judd wrote at the time: “One last game of basketball at Garry’s house to say goodbye.”
Whilst Sarah Silverman wrote in her own Instagram tribute: “We lost our most brilliant comic mind & I lost the most generous loving mentor & friend. Who will I guard? (sic)”

The tragic news was announced earlier on Tuesday (27.12.16) in a statement made by family spokesman Simon Halls on behalf of Billie.

Carrie stopped breathing whilst on a flight from London to Los Angeles on December 23, where she is said to have stopped breathing and was administered CPR.

The ‘Complicated’ hitmaker thanked her fans for sticking with her during her two year battle with Lyme Disease as she revealed she will be releasing an album next year.
She wrote on Instagram: “Hi Everyone!! I wanted to first thank my fans for your patience & support during my time away throughout my battle with Lyme Disease over the past 2 years. It hasn’t just been a hard battle but it’s also been enlightening and will reflect in my new music, artistry, life, and personally.
“I will always continue to make it a priority to fight and raise awareness about Lyme Disease with the Avril Lavigne foundation. I’m really happy to announce that I am now working on new music and I will be releasing a new album in 2017. I can’t wait to open up and share my heart with you! I’m excited for you guys to hear the new songs. It’s going to be an amazing 2017! (sic)”
It comes after the 32-year-old singer teased she had a Christmas present for her fans.
Earlier in the week, Avril uploaded a video of herself standing by her Christmas tree clutching a present as she addressed the camera.
She said: “Happy Christmas everyone! I’ve got all my presents under the tree but I can’t forget this last one, the most important one, for my fans.”
Meanwhile, Avril previously insisted she is “coming out on the other side” following her battle with Lyme Disease.

OHMYGOSSIP — George Michael’s former partner Kenny Goss is “heartbroken” by the star’s passing.
The businessman has paid tribute to his ex-boyfriend and “long time love” after the ‘Faith’ hitmaker passed away on Christmas Day (25.12.16) at the age of 53.
In a statement to Us Weekly magazine, he said: “I’m heartbroken with the news that my dear friend and long time love George Michael has passed. He was a major part of my life and I loved him very, very much.
“He was an extremely kind and generous man. The beautiful memories and music he brought to the world will always be an important part of my life and those who also loved and admired him.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Murphy hasn’t read a review in 20 years.
The ‘Mr. Church’ star opts not to read any critiques of the movies he stars in despite insisting they don’t have any “effect on him at all”.
He said: “Oh, they [reviews] have no effect on me at all. I haven’t read a review in, easily, 20, 25 years. I used to. I remember when ‘Coming to America’ came out, Siskel and Ebert gave it two thumbs way down, saying it sucked.
“Then 10, 15 years later, I remember seeing them do a retrospective and they were both, ‘The classic ‘Coming to America’ blah blah blah.’ The shelf life of movies changes over the years.”
And the 55-year-old actor and comedian – who has nine children from five different relationships – is keen to return to his stand up comedy roots one day as he is “curious” about what sort of material he would perform.
He told the Los Angeles Times: “A few years back, I took a break from grinding out movies. I stepped back, took a breath and gave the audience a break, too. After 35 years in movies, I don’t care who you are, people get sick of looking at you. But I’m always writing – a script, a song.
“One day I’ll go full circle and do [stand up]. I’m curious to see what will come out of me. I’m so different. I stopped doing stand up when I was a kid. I was 28 years old. That’s another lifetime. Times have changed. I’m not edgy – at all. And I don’t want to be one of those middle-aged comics who go out and say, ‘We had this and you guys have that.'”

Speaking on behalf of Carrie’s daughter Billie Lourd, family spokesman Simon Halls said: “It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning. She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.”
It comes only days after Carrie stopped breathing on a flight from London to Los Angeles and was given CPR by staff, doctors and nurses onboard.

Her brother Todd Fisher revealed at the time: “She’s in the ICU and everybody’s praying for her. There’s nothing new from the doctors. There’s nothing new at all … There’s no good news or bad news.”
The legendary actress was best known for her role as Princess Leia in the science fiction franchise and was part of Hollywood from a young age, being the daughter of actress Debbie Reynolds and entertainer Eddie Fisher.
Carrie is survived by her mother Debbie, her daughter Billie, 24, and her beloved French bulldog Gary.
