Bryce Dallas Howard kept daughter's style gender-neutral

OHMYGOSSIP — Bryce Dallas Howard kept her daughter Beatrice Jean’s clothes “gender-neutral” because she didn’t have much hair.
The ‘Gold’ actress – who also has nine-year-old son Theodore ‘Theo’ Norman with her husband Seth Gabel – has opened up about how she styled her five-year-old daughter when she was younger and decided to let her “lead” her to which kind of clothes she’d like to wear.
In an interview with People magazine, she shared: “My original approach was that she was gonna wear primary hand-me-downs from her brother.
“And that’s what I did. She was bald for a very long time, and so gender was a little unclear.
“But that was fine, and there was no problem. I really wanted to wait for her to lead me in a certain direction.”
Little Beatrice turned out to be a massive fan of girl clothes and wanted to wear “glamorous” costumes.
She added: “She’s just into all this princess stuff.
“And layers of costumes and anything that she feels looks glamorous.”
The 35-year-old flame-haired beauty – who is the daughter of Hollywood director Ron Howard – thinks it important that she shows her daughter that she can wear what she likes, but also know what’s “appropriate” for certain situations.
She added: “I was talking to my husband the other day and I was like, ‘I feel like we should be giving her access a little bit more, so we’re not just like, making her tie together bits of her brother’s old pyjamas to make a gown.
Like, ‘Okay, okay, you like that stuff, we’ll get it for you.
But I think instilling an understanding as to what is appropriate, in terms of weather, in terms of your surroundings, all of that.
“I think it’s a good thing to pass on so that a person understands how to be adaptable.
“She’s just dressings the way she wants to dress.”

Paris Jackson 'considers herself black'

OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Jackson “considers herself black” because that’s what her late father Michael Jackson told her.
The late King of Pop raised Paris, 18 and sons Prince, 19, and Bigi, 14, alone before his death in 2009, and while his youngest child’s mother was never revealed, his second wife Debbie Rowe is the biological mother of the older kids.
In a candid interview, the aspiring actress has no doubt that Michael – who died of an overdose from acute Propofol intoxication – is her father and says her close friends have always told her that they look so alike it’s “almost scary”.
She told the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine: “He is my father.
“He will always be my father. He never wasn’t, and he never will not be. People that knew him really well say they see him in me, that it’s almost scary.”
The blonde beauty had always been told by the ‘Smooth Criminal’ hitmaker – who lightened his skin and underwent a number of face reconstructions in a bid to look like a “northern athlete” – that she she should respect her roots and she never doubted him about her race because she doesn’t consider her father a liar.
She said: “I consider myself black.”
Paris added that her dad “would look me in the eyes and he’d point his finger at me and he’d be like, ‘You’re black. Be proud of your roots.’ And I’d be like, ‘OK, he’s my dad, why would he lie to me?’ So I just believe what he told me. ‘Cause, to my knowledge, he’s never lied to me.
“Most people that don’t know me call me white.
“I’ve got light skin and, especially since I’ve had my hair blond, I look like I was born in Finland or something.”
Meanwhile, Paris also talked about how “normal” her life was living at Michael’s Neverland Ranch – named after the fantasy island in the story of ‘Peter Pan’- where she lived for the first seven years of her life, and how strict Michael was with their schooling and never allowed any bad behaviour.
She said: “We actually had a pretty normal life. Like, we had school every single day, and we had to be good. And if we were good, every other weekend or so, we could choose whether we were gonna go to the movie theater or see the animals or whatever. But if you were on bad behaviour, then you wouldn’t get to go do all those things.”

Nicola Peltz: Anwar Hadid is an angel

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicola Peltz has gushed about her “angel” boyfriend Anwar Hadid.
The 22-year-old actress and the 17-year-old hunk – who is the younger sibling of model sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid – have only just started dating, but the blonde beauty is smitten with her new beau.
She told Women’s Wear Daily: “We’re hanging out. Honestly, he is an angel,” she gushed. “He’s such an amazing person.”
And the ‘The Last Airbender’ star was full of praise for Gigi, 21, and Bella, 20, who have made her feel like a part of the family.
She said: “He comes from such an amazing family. Gigi and Bella are so, so sweet. I just love his family so much.
They’re feminine, strong girls. To have that around is amazing.”
On January 20, the pair sparked speculation they were dating after they were spotted walking hand-in-hand in the Beverly Hills area.
At the time, a source said: “They are dating. It’s a fairly new relationship, but they are really good friends and part of the same group of friends.”
Earlier this month, the blonde beauty took to Instagram to share a photo of herself sitting on Anwar’s lap, but gave nothing away with her caption, which simply read: “taken by the queen @ellenvonunwerth (sic)”
Videos from Nicola’s birthday bash also surfaced last week which seem to show the pair holding hands at the dinner table as they cuddled up to one another to celebrate Nicola’s big day.
Last year, the ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ actress was romantically linked to pop megastar Justin Bieber, who reportedly wanted something “serious” with the beauty.
The ‘What Do You Mean?’ hitmaker met Nicola at Los Angeles hotspot The Nice Guy and invited her on a miniature golfing date and friends said at the time that Justin was smitten.
A source said: “Justin wants something serious with a girl again. He doesn’t want to f**k around anymore. It was a real date with her.”
Meanwhile, Nicola previously revealed she is “really close” to Anwar’s older sister Gigi, 21, and even got her blessing before appearing in her boyfriend Zayn Malik’s music video for ‘It’s You’.
She said at the time: “I was excited to meet Zayn. I’ve never met him before and I’m really close with his girlfriend, Gigi. I called her when I got the offer and she was like, ‘Oh my god.’
“She really wanted me to do it. I mean, I love her so much and I’m really close with her, but yeah, she was excited for me. She’s the best.”

Speaking about the new ‘Season Of The Force’ attraction at Disneyland Paris, he said: “It’s the perfect break away if you like ‘Star Wars’, Which I do I grew up on them, It’s been fantastic.”
The British hunk plans on going back to Disneyland to visit the showcase in Paris, where he will no doubt get inspiration for his forthcoming role as a solider of the Galactic Empire.
He added: “It’s been really well put together, it’s a great experience. I had a great time and I will definitely be coming back.”
Earlier this month, Hardy addressed reports he will play a Stormtrooper in the next Instalment of the franchise.
He refused to confirm if he will be involved and teased that he didn’t know if he was allowed to talk about the role.
He said: “I don’t know if I can even say that … the internet is a glorious web of deceit and misinformation, isn’t it?”
When asked if the report was misinformation, he replied, “It could be, couldn’t it?”
Meanwhile, the ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ star recently expressed how unimpressed he is with modern day superheroes.
Hardy is not a fan of how “clean-living” the characters in such films have become unlike back in the 80s.
Describing the differences between Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones and Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, explained “One was allowed to express personal characteristics.
“Now you’ve got to look like you’ve just come off a vega diet, gone to the gym, part Navy Seal, really clean-valued, clean-living, moralistic – and then you go out and save the world from an impending danger that isn’t really dangerous at all.”
‘Season Of The Force’ at Disneyland Paris is on now until March 26 and is an unforgettable galactic experience that celebrates the entire saga of Star Wars, including the recent box office hit ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’.

Paris Jackson claims father Michael Jackson was murdered

OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Jackson has claimed that her father Michael Jackson was murdered.
The 18-year-old aspiring actress was raised along with her two brothers Prince, 19, and Blanket, 14, solely by the late pop legend until his death in June 2009, which was ruled as an overdose from acute Propofol intoxication.
However, she has admitted for the first time that she believes it was not an overdose of the drug, which was administered by Dr Conrad Murray – who was convicted in 2011 of involuntary manslaughter for his part in the star’s death – that caused his demise and that she has always thought his death was a “setup” as it was “obvious” people wanted her ‘Thriller’ hitmaker father dead.
Paris opened up in a candid interview with the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine, saying: “it’s obvious.
“All arrows point to that. It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bull****, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it. It was a setup. it was bull****.”
The blonde beauty has also revealed she is planning to seek revenge and find “justice” for Michael, but she is not ready to disclose her plans just yet.
She added: “Of course [I want justice].
“I definitely do, but it’s a chess game. And I am trying to play the chess game the right way.
“And that’s all I can say about that right now.”
Paris also shared how the ‘Bad’ singer once felt paranoid that someone was trying to kill him.
She said: “And at some point he was like, ‘They’re gonna kill me one day.'”
Meanwhile, Conrad recently said he felt Michael’s children were “brainwashed” and “trained” to hate him.
The 63-year-old physician penned a book called ‘This Is It! The Secret lives of Dr. Conrad Murray and Michael Jackson’, which was slammed by Paris, who tweeted when it was released: “The fact that people are actually listening to and believing a cold blooded murderer is honestly beyond me.”
And speaking about Paris, he said at the time: “[Paris] is a child. She’s a young adult. She’s been tainted. They’ve trained her to be dishonest. I’m not responsible for that.”

Andrew Garfield jokes he's up for locking lips with same-sex nominees at Oscars

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew Garfield has joked that there could be some same-sex kissing at the Oscars if he’s “attracted” to the person sat next to him.
The 33-year-old hunk is up for Best Actor in a Leading Role for ‘Hacksaw Ridge’ and quipped that if the seat planners are “smart” and sit him next to someone he fancies he could lock lips with them, like he did at the Golden Globes earlier this month when he smooched ‘Deadpool’ star Ryan Reynolds, 40, on stage.
He laughed: “It depends on who they sit me next to.
If they’re smart they’ll sit me next to someone that I’m attracted to.”
Asked who that might, he added: “In that room, I don’t think there are many misses.”
However, it could become extremely for the ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ star – who split from ‘La La Land’ star Emma Stone in April 2015 following four years of on/off dating – as he plans on bringing his father with him to the prestigious ceremony, which takes place at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Sunday February 26.
He told E! News: “I think I’m going to bring my dad out.
“I think it’s something he’d love to share with me. It’s a big deal for him and he’s the one who made me fall in love with movies when I was a kid.”
Andrew – who plays army medic Desmond T. Dos in the war flick – is overwhelmed by his nomination, and admits it’s “crazy” to be in the shortlist alongside Hollywood legend Denzel Washington for the Best Actor category.
Talking about Denzel – who is up for his role in ‘Fences’ – he said: “It’s f***ing crazy.
What do I do? It’s that weird feeling of, ‘When are they going to find me out?'”
The ’99 Homes’ actor was also full of praise of ‘Hacksaw Ridge’ director Mel Gibson, 61, who he feels “utterly deserved” to be recognised by The Academy for his work on the movie, which received five nods including Best Picture and Best Director.
He said: “I love Mel. I have nothing but love for him and pride in him not only as an artist and a filmmaker but also as a man and as a good friend..I think it’s a good sign that the Academy has acknowledged his work. It’s utterly deserved, but it’s a really good sign that finally the healing he’s been doing internally and in his life and with the people in his life can finally be recognised on the outside as well. He’s not going anywhere. He’s been ready for this for awhile.”

And Nicole – who also has Isabella, 24, and Connor, 22, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise – was thrilled to see the movie, which is based on the true story of Saroo Brierley, receive six nominations including one for Best Picture and a Best Actor in a Supporting Role nod for Dev Patel.
She told The TODAY Show: “People respond with such emotional depth to it and there’s a personal depth to it that is … I haven’t had that for so long. I’ve done so many films but I haven’t really had this [feeling].”
Meanwhile, Nicole previously admitted she was very “maternal” to Dev on the set of ‘Lion’.
She explained: “I was maternal to him. I was pretty much in character playing the role … I really just related to him as a mother. I would go up to him and stroke his hair and touch his face and hold his hand. He gave permission for that, which was terrific …
“I also think now you’ll see Dev as a leading man, not as an Indian man or anything other than a leading man. I look forward to his journey into all of that now.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel Gibson celebrated his Oscar nomination with his newborn son.
The 61-year-old actor has had two reasons to celebrate after he secured a Best Director nod for his work on ‘Hacksaw Ridge’ just days after he and his girlfriend Rosalind Ross welcomed their son Lars Gerald Gibson into the world.
He said in a statement: “What could be more exciting than listening to the nominations being announced while holding my newborn son! This is a truly wonderful honour.
“I’m especially happy for Andrew Garfield, our producers Bill Mechanic and David Permut, our editor John Gilbert and our incredible sound teams.

Happy Mondays star Bez only takes organic drugs now

OHMYGOSSIP — Happy Mondays’ Bez only takes “organic drugs” now.
The 52-year-old percussionist and dancer – known for his exuberant dance moves on stage with the rock band, fronted by his friend Shaun Ryder – and his bandmates had a reputation for being one of the hardest partying bands of all time and no substance was off limits from ecstasy tablets to LSD to heroin to crack cocaine.
Nowadays, Bez – real name Mark Berry – has turned his back on illegal substances and now will only get high on pure drugs.
In an interview with The Guardian newspaper, he said: “I’ve not actually stopped taking drugs, but only if they’re organic will they get into my system now.”
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ winner admits his and Shaun’s drug-taking resulted in a lot of hilarious moments especially before gigs.
Recalling an early TV performance for the ‘Kinky Afro’ hitmakers when they were supporting New Order at the now closed-down Hacienda club in Manchester, England, Bez shared: “I’d scored a lot of black microdots. So me and Shaun were tripping our heads off. Shaun turned round and said, ‘I can’t go on, Bez! You’re gonna have to come on with me.’ So I ended up on stage tripping my nut off, shaking this maraca.”
The Happy Mondays still tour now and Bez is committed to dancing as wildly as ever because he is “trying to portray the rebellious, f***ed-up attitude of the ecstasy, acid generation” as he reflected upon a time where the drugs hit him and Shaun hard as they performed when they performed at a gig in Manchester.

Roman Polanski pulls out of César Awards

OHMYGOSSIP — Roman Polanski has pulled out of presiding over the César Awards – the equivalent of the French Oscars.
The 83-year-old film director was set to give the opening speech at the César Awards on February 24 in Paris but has decided to cancel his appearance after a women’s rights group threatened to boycott the ceremony because he was chosen as the honorary host following his statutory rape admission nearly 40 years ago, a charge he is still wanted by authorities in the US for.
Polanski’s lawyer Herve Temime told France 24 in a statement: “The controversy … deeply saddened Roman Polanski and affected his family. However, in order not to disturb the Cesars ceremonies, which should focus on the cinema and not on the appointment of the (event’s) president, Roman Polanski has decided not accept the invitation … and will not preside over the next Cesars ceremonies.”
On 11 March 1977, Polanksi – who is best known for his movies ‘The Pianist’, ‘Chinatown’ and ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ – was arrested at Jack Nicholson’s home after being accused by 13-year-old model Samantha Gailey or raping her.
He later pleaded guilty to unlawful sex with a minor but managed to strike a plea deal which allowed him to serve 42 days in detention while undergoing psychiatric tests.
He then fled to France in 1978 after he thought a judge was going to drop the deal and hit him with a hefty prison sentence, and he has remained there ever since.
He has also lived in his native Poland and the American authorities have spent many years trying to extradite him from the European nation.
Last month, Polanski defeated an attempt by the US to extradite him from Poland, and afterwards he said: “I’ll finally be able to feel safe in my own country.”
After it was announced the controversial filmmaker had been selected to open the ceremony next month, French feminist group Osez le feminisme – which translates as Dare to be Feminist – branded the decision by the French Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques “shameful” and urged people to protest outside the venue.
But it seems the recent petition, which raked in 62,000 signatures, set up after the announcement finally pushed Polanksi to withdraw.
However, the French Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques called Polanski an “insatiable aesthete” and thought he should be allowed to preside at the ceremony.

Naomie Harris' Oscar nomination nerves

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomie Harris “couldn’t cope” with watching the Oscar nominations live.
The 40-year-old actress – who received a nod in the Best Supporting Actress category for her portrayal of Paula in ‘Moonlight’ – admits she was too nervous to tune in to the broadcast as it happened but was thrilled when she found out the film had secured eight nominations overall.
She said: “I was at home with my mum, and I started to watch the announcement, but I couldn’t cope with the anticipation of it all. My brother called to say I had been nominated.”
Asked how she celebrated her nomination, she added: “I was just having a lovely walk. It was very grounding.”
And Naomie is amazed by how well the movie – which also stars Mahershala Ali, who too received a nod for his role in the film – has been received.
She added to The Times: “You really never know in this crazy business what’s going to resonate with people. What I did know is that I read the script, and it made me cry three or four times. I knew it was such a beautiful film, and I knew from Barry [Jenkins’] previous film, ‘Medicine for Melancholy,’ that he was an extraordinary filmmaker.
“Whether or not people responded to it the way I did, you can never know that. Everyone who signed on for it did it because it was a passion project.”
Meanwhile, director Barry Jenkins – who was honoured in the Best Director category – was “moved beyond words” by the film’s number of nominations.
He added in a statement: “It takes a village and this morning I was moved beyond words by the love that was shown by the Academy to so many of the wonderful people in our Moonlight village.
“I’m in Amsterdam at the moment, sharing Chiron’s story a continent away with people of a different culture. That’s what the spirit of these nominations signals to me: an affirmation that film has the power to erode barriers and reveal what makes us all human.”

He said: “I could not be more excited and grateful to the Academy for recognising our film. Extending my congratulations to Denzel and Viola and the rest of the fantastic cast and crew of ‘Fences’ who brought the words of August Wilson to life. Emma Stone amazed by Oscar nomination

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Stone’s Oscar nomination is “beyond any of her wildest imaginings”.
The 28-year-old actress was thrilled to find out she had been nominated in the Best Actress in a Leading Role category for her performance in ‘La La Land’, just one of the 14 nominations the musical movie received.
She said: “What a morning. I am so grateful for this honour and I’m so happy to share this feeling with my ‘La La Land’ family. The greatest part of life is connecting with people, and I love the deeply talented, kind and passionate people I was lucky enough to work with on this movie.
“I’m also overjoyed that the movie has connected with audiences in the way it has, and that it’s hopefully bringing a kick in their step to those who watch it. This is beyond any of our wildest imaginings and we can’t wait to celebrate together.”
Meanwhile, the film’s director Damien Chazelle previously opened up about why he thinks the Academy would love his movie.
Speaking to GQ magazine before the nominations were announced, he said: “I guess it wasn’t but now that you say it, it’s good to know. So the honest answer would be no. I’ve been writing about the experiences that I’ve had, which probably are applicable to lots of artists in Los Angeles, or people that are moving to Los Angeles to try and be artists.
“Especially in this movie, that kind of up and down, especially in the first few years, before you’ve broken in. The trying to find your voice in that city, and trying to find an identity as an artist in that city, is a challenging thing.
“[La La Land] was something that was very personal to me that I wanted to write about, just the same way Whiplash was about experiences I’ve had as a drummer. Both movies are somewhat autobiographical, and I definitely fit into a certain type of LA artist that the Academy fits into.”

Amy Adams and Tom Hanks snubbed at 2017 Oscars

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Adams, Tom Hanks and Aaron Taylor-Johnson were notably absent from this year’s Oscars nominations.
The flame-haired beauty missed out on a nod for her lead role in ‘Arrival’ whilst Hanks’ critically-acclaimed performance as Captain ‘Sully’ Sullenberger – the pilot who managed to land his plane on the Hudson River in 2009 – didn’t receive a nomination.
Taylor-Johnson – who recently won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his ‘Nocturnal Animals’ role – failed to receive a nod as the Academy Award nominations were unveiled on Tuesday (24.01.17).
‘Finding Dory’ – which stars Ellen DeGeneres in the titular role – and Dreamwork’s ‘Trolls’ both missed out on a nod in the Best Animated Feature category.
And it was bittersweet news for ‘Arrival’s director Denis Villeneuve on hearing Adams hadn’t received a nomination as he was also celebrating the film’s eight nods including one for Best Picture and Best Director.
Speaking from an Oscars party full of pancakes, champagne and coffee, which he held for the film’s cast and crew, he told Entertainment Weekly: “I’m still digesting the news. I’m going between coffee and champagne – that is where I am right now.
“But this is the big disappointment [that Amy wasn’t nominated]. I’m deeply disappointed for Amy. She was the soul of this movie. For me, it was a given! She had the movie on her shoulders, she’s the one who made it happen. It’s a strange feeling to celebrate and feel sad at the same time.”

Rebekah Vardy left Jamie in agony during her labour

OHMYGOSSIP — Rebekah Vardy “nearly broke” her husband Jamie’s fingers during her labour.
The 34-year-old beauty had a traumatic delivery with new son Finley earlier this month as the tot’s head had blocked her cervix, meaning her waters couldn’t break and the process couldn’t progress the way it should, but luckily her soccer star spouse – with whom she also has two-year-old daughter Sofia – was on hand to give her support.
Speaking to the new issue of OK! magazine – on which she appears on the cover with Jamie and baby Finley Jaiden – Rebekah recalled: “The pain of labour was so intense, I was in agony. I nearly broke Jamie’s fingers. [The midwife] broke my waters without a consultant in the end because of the pain I was in, the level of my contractions and how long they were lasting.”
Jamie added: “I didn’t even watch my iPad this time! I was watching the Champions League during her labour with Sofia because Bex didn’t want me anywhere near her, but this time I was giving her my fingers to break – they were pretty swollen afterwards.
“I felt like I needed two new titanium fingers!”
Sadly for Jamie, 30, he was unable to hold his new son for some time after he was born because he was suffering from flu and didn’t want to pass the infection on to the tot, who arrived two weeks ahead of his due date.
He said: “I had a little cry but the worst thing was not being able to hold him because I had flu and couldn’t risk passing anything on to him so I felt like I was a bit of a s**t dad for the first couple of days. I couldn’t wait to give him a cuddle.”
Little Finley had to stay in hospital for a few days for light therapy due to an imbalance of sugar levels and jaundice.
Rebekah said: “It was horrifying seeing them wheel this incubator into the room and knowing that Finley had to go in it with a mask over his eyes.
“The only time I could get him out was to feed. I was in for another two days and then they let me out on ward release again.”
As well as Sofia and Finley, Rebekah has two children, Megan, 12, and Taylor, seven, from past romances, while Jamie has six-year-old daughter Ella with his ex Emma Daggett.
