OHMYGOSSIP — Sofia Vergara isn’t worried if she portrays a stereotype.
The 44-year-old actress – who stars as Gloria Pritchett-Delgado in ‘Modern Family’ – gets “upset” when fellow Latinos complain about her character as she is “grateful for the opportunity” to represent Latino women on television.
In a joint interview with husband Joe Manganiello for HOLA! USA magazine, she explained: “What’s wrong with being a stereotype? Gloria’s character is inspired by my mom and my aunt. They are both Latin women who grew up in Colombia, like me. They love colour, prints and shoes …
“It upsets me when Latinos complain about Gloria. I am grateful for the opportunity because the gringos have let me in with this strong accent I have. Eight years ago nobody had an accent like this on television.”
Meanwhile, Sofia previously insisted she is too pretty to play an “ordinary girl”.
She said: “I realised that having a good figure was an advantage on TV and getting attention and publicity.
“But it also means you can’t play more normal kinds of roles. I can’t just play an ordinary girl. So I try to find roles which will let me capitalise on my looks and my personality and advance my career that way.”
And Sofia – who is now happily married to her second husband Joe Manganiello – admits she may have rushed into her first marriage to Joe Gonzalez because she wanted to avoid the attention of other men.
She added: “When I was a teenager I was skinny but with big boobs. Everybody stares at you and of course every man is after you. It was a relief for me when I met my (first) husband and then I didn’t have to deal with being chased as much. I am very comfortable with my appearance and I am not worrying about wrinkles. I think if a woman stays fit and lives a healthy lifestyle then she can project beauty no matter what her age.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Cyndi Lauper has slammed Madonna’s controversial Women’s March speech.
The ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ hitmaker was “glad” Madonna went to the march in Washington D.C. on Saturday (21.01.17) but blasted her on stage antics as she claims the singer failed to “communicate any type of humanity”.
Cyndi said: “I don’t think that it served our purpose because anger is not better than clarity and humanity. That is what opens people’s minds. When you want to change people’s minds, you have to share your real story.
“Yelling doesn’t [help]. It just jacks people up but it doesn’t communicate any type of humanity or any kind of story that would open another person’s mind.”
Cyndi also compared Madonna’s speech to Scarlett Johansson’s Women’s March speech, where the actress documented her experience of using family planning clinics during her formative years.
Speaking on ‘Watch What Happens Live’, the singer added: “She shared her story. It was clear and it was eloquent.”
During her speech, Madonna told the crowd she had thought about “blowing up the White House” after President Donald Trump’s inauguration.
She said: “Good didn’t win this election, but good will win in the end. So what today means is that we are far from the end. Today marks the beginning of our story.
“The revolution starts here. The fight for the right to be free, to be who we are, to be equal. Let’s march together through this darkness and with each step know that we are not afraid, that we are not alone, that we will not back down.
“And to our detractors that insist that this march will never add up to anything, f**k you! Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.”
However, the ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker later took to Instagram to insist the comment was “taken wildly out of context”.
She shared: “However I want to clarify some very important things. I am not a violent person, I do not promote violence and it’s important people hear and understand my speech in it’s entirety rather than one phrase taken wildly out of context.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Newton-John has hinted there could be a ‘Grease’ reunion to mark its 40th anniversary.
The 68-year-old actress – who starred as Sandy in the 1978 iconic film opposite John Travolta’s Danny – would love to get the cast together in 2018 to mark four decades since the film was released.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, she said: “I can’t believe it’s that long. I would like to do something special to help the hospital I work with, but I don’t know if we could get the rest of the cast together.”
Olivia was diagnosed with breast cancer over 20 years ago and launched the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre to help patients who are going through a similar thing to what she did.
She shared: “I have a cancer and wellness centre in Melbourne, Australia that I’m very proud has my name and so I continuously fundraise to improve and increase the wellness programmes.
“We have a comprehensive cancer centre with state of the art everything but the wellness centre is my baby because I think to take care of a person you need to take care of body, mind and spirit. So at the wellness centre we embrace all those.”
And Olivia believes she would be a different person if she hadn’t battled cancer.
She explained: “If it wasn’t for the cancer, I wouldn’t be doing what I do today, which is working with a hospital and wellbeing. I try to look for positives. Of course I was frightened and scared and I know some people haven’t been as lucky as me.”
Meanwhile, Olivia previously insisted she is “grateful” for having cancer as it has “taught her about compassion”.
She shared: “I am grateful for the experience because without it I would not have done many of the things I have done in my life. It’s taught me compassion for those going through difficult times.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mandy Moore says going brunette was “transformative” in how people perceived her.
The 32-year-old actress thinks there was a “real significance” in her ditching her blonde locks before she starred in 2002’s ‘A Walk to Remember’ as it allowed people to see her as an actress as well as a singer.
She said: “Well I was blonde then and, for the most part, haven’t gone back since. It was transformative because it came at a time in my life when I was only seen from the pop music landscape and through that lens. There was a real significance to colouring my hair.
“As silly as it sounds, there was a real significance in the way that people saw me, but also in the way that I carried myself and that I saw myself. It was the last little piece of the puzzle I think in terms of getting into the character.”
Her ‘A Walk to Remember’ co-star Shane West remembers Mandy being “very nervous” about changing her hair colour.
In a joint interview, he added: “I remember that Mandy was very nervous about dying her hair. It’s amazing how it really changed her life – well the movie changed all of our lives – but hers especially, aesthetically. She kind of went with that look after that – she didn’t go back to the platinum blonde.”
And Mandy was glad she didn’t have to wear heaps of make up for her role as Jamie Sullivan in the romantic drama film as she has never been someone who puts a lot of “time and effort” into her make up routine.
She told Entertainment Weekly: “I knew what I was signing up for. I’ve never been someone who’s put a tremendous amount of time and effort into that, especially when it comes to playing parts. I don’t really care.
“I was excited to take on a role like this knowing that I was going to completely step outside of myself and dress in a way and in a manner that was appropriate for this character.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Pamela Anderson was left “speechless” and changed forever by her visit with PETA to a refugee camp in France on Wednesday (25.01.17).
The former ‘Baywatch’ actress joined the organisation – known as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals – on a trip to Dunkirk to deliver vegan hats and gloves, blankets, hundreds of animal-themed activity books, in English, Farsi, French and Arabic, and coloured pencils to children who have been forced to flee their home countries due to war and persecution.
Pamela was shocked by the conditions the youngsters are living in and the startling reality that the men in the camps are risking their lives every night to try and escape their surroundings by sneaking into lorries and other modes of transport.
In a blog post on her charity website PamelaAndersonFoundation.org, she wrote: “I’m leaving Dunkirk now. I’m speechless. I’m so angry. The children are so lovely and polite. I gave out blankets, hats, gloves, fruit, coloring books and crayons. Some were so fearful they wouldn’t get a blanket or crayons or an apple. It was chaos. I’ll never forget today.
“I brought some whisky to the volunteers. What an unusual and extraordinary group. They are amazing. They have been there for months, years. From the Calais Jungle to diff camps – tossed around. Young people selflessly making a terrible situation – a little less terrible. It was uplifting to see that part. The politics are incomprehensibly devastating. The men every night go out, hide in- under, on lorries. A boy died on the freeway the other day. Some make it across the border. Some don’t, and have to walk back. Or worse. Then they sleep all day and try again. Every night. There is no other way. No hope. No help. People must see what is happening. Beautiful and innocent people are shown such little respect. The kids hugged and kissed me, I’ll never be the same. I’ll write more later. P (sic)”
The 49-year-old former Playboy pin-up has urged politicians all over the world and regular people to open their eyes to the tragedy that is unfolding in France and across Europe and forget about their own “self-interest”.
Pamela insists that something has to be done to help these people and that “closing borders is not the answer”.
She wrote: “Imagine if every person could come see this? Policy would change. It’s hard to engage people to act without empathy – and unfortunately most people don’t feel it by watching the news; but, by meeting people and seeing for themselves – It would change everything. Just people trying to live. I encourage more people to come visit, and volunteer if at all possible. It’s just not fair. Closing borders, and closing people out is not the answer. It’s backwards. Maybe people are inherently self interested but information silos created by choice of media (Fox or CNN) and social media – I fear, means people are less and less informed about things outside their own interests. OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna has a “good relationship” with Kris Jenner.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star is said to be close to Chyna – who has two-month-old daughter Dream with Kris’ son Rob Kardashian – as they share a common interest in making sure Rob is “healthy and happy”.
A source said: “Chy and Kris have a good relationship. If she needs to vent or get advice she will call Kris and they talk it out. Both just want Rob to be healthy and happy.”
And Chyna, 28, has been a positive influence on Rob’s battle to ditch the pounds as she is working on losing weight too after the birth of her daughter.
The insider added to E! News: “Rob is starting to get active again with the help of Chyna. Rob and Chyna have been taking more hikes together lately so that’s been a positive step forward … She is definitely making progress [with her post-baby body], slowly, so she’s happy with any progress. She wants her tiny waist back how it looked before Dream. So when she gets there she’ll be happy.”
It comes after Kris admitted Rob and Chyna’s relationship was a “work in progress”.
Speaking about the couple – who got engaged after four months of dating – she shared: “You know, I think that, too, is a work in progress and they have good and bad days.
“It’s a young relationship and they haven’t known each other for that long.”
Chyna – who is celebrating her year anniversary with Rob – has been working hard on keeping fit following the birth of Dream and recently celebrated dropping an impressive 34 pounds in just two months.

And Chyna credits breastfeeding for helping her ditch the weight.

If I was in Paris of New York I would feel super uncomfortable right now. I’m just really breastfeeding because you have to wait six weeks until you work out. OHMYGOSSIP — Taron Egerton isn’t “interested” in being a serious actor.
The ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ star wants to “have fun” with the roles he takes rather than be “boring” and choose serious roles all the time.
He said: “I want to have fun. I’m not interested in being a serious actor because I think it’s boring, and I think we’ve got plenty of them. So I like to do stuff that has a sense of humour, and stuff that doesn’t necessarily take itself too seriously. But, equally, now I’m also yearning for, maybe, exploring the dark side of life a little bit.
“But, I think, the joy of the job is the diversity. And the variety. And, if you’re lucky enough, to have the freedom to do different things. I don’t like the idea of a box, as well. It’s nice to kind of defy the idea of a box.”
And the 27-year-old actor insists he isn’t “particularly calculated” when he chooses a role.
He added: “If something appeals, something appeals. I don’t think I’m particularly calculated about it. I know I have an alarm bell that goes off in my head where something feels like it has no creative integrity to it at all, and it’s just about making money.
“I’m not interested in going and doing a big, action-adventure romp with nothing to say about being a human being. Whereas, Kingsman’s become quite a lucrative thing, but it’s also a big arthouse movie in a lot of ways. It defies the parameters within which those big budget commercial films normally operate.”
Meanwhile, Taron has admitted he is “desperate” to star in a musical.
He confessed to The Independent: “I didn’t go to drama school to be a musical theatre performer. I enjoyed it, but I didn’t go to do that, I went to be an actor. So, I felt a little bit, not cheated, but a little bit miffed that my big chance was in the musical.
“That being said, now I’m desperate to do a musical, and I’m trying to find one. Or find someone who will let me do one. I mean, it’s about someone presenting me with an opportunity really, but I’d bite their hand off if they did. I think it’s about time we had some.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian was left feeling “left out” when her sisters wore matching outfits.
The 36-year-old reality star thought her siblings Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian looked very “in your face” when they turned up to a family meeting in head-to-toe burgundy, while she wore an oversized flannel shirt with lace-up leather pants.
She showed off her siblings’ outfits on Snapchat and said: “I don’t know what’s more in your face: all burgundy at once, or two people in all burgundy at once.”
And the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star was left feeling even worse when her younger half-sister Kylie Jenner, 19, donned a burgundy ensemble of her own for the meeting.
On her way to connect with her siblings, Kylie revealed on Snapchat: “So Kim just snapchatted how annoying it was that Khloe and Kourtney both showed up in burgundy on accident, so I’m about to show up to the same meeting in all burgundy head to toe.”
And as she walked through the door, Kim – who has kids North, three, and Saint, 13 months, with husband Kanye West – moaned: “I feel so left out!”

Meanwhile, Kim has topped the list of stars who women believe take the best selfie, beating Kylie and her other sibling Kendall Jenner – who missed the family meeting as she’s in Paris – into second and third place respectively.
According to a new report which found that selfies will transition from frivolous fad to technological phenomenon in the not too distant future, especially with advanced front camera technology in smartphones like the XperiaTM XZ, 1 in 10 women believe Kim takes the best self-posed picture.

OHMYGOSSIP — James Corden won’t be looking for laughs when he hosts the Grammy awards.
The 38-year-old presenter – who has children Max, five, and Carey, two, with wife Julia – is determined to make the musical honours ceremony as “fun and enthusiastic” as possible, but doesn’t think it is the right occasion to showcase his comedic side.
He said: “The truth is, it’s quite a tough room to do jokes in. You can’t really do comedy because it’s the Staples Center — it’s not that sort of show. Rather than try and think of jokes or laughs, we’re gonna try and think about how to make it fun and enthusiastic. I feel very nervous about it, very scared, but I’m gonna try and make it the best I can!”
While the British star has previously hosted the Tony awards, he thinks the Grammys will be a very different presenting job.
He said: “The Tonys is a more traditional hosting job; with the Grammys, you’re not in the show that much, just ushering stuff around. But we’re gonna try to make it as fun as a possible.”
James is best known for the popular ‘Carpool Karaoke’ feature – where famous stars sing along to their greatest hits while driving along with the host – on his ‘Late Late Show’ and despite the fact the audience at the Grammys will be largely made up of musicians, he insists they won’t be able to use the segment at the ceremony because they are so complicated.
He explained to People magazine: “They take so long to film, they take a long time to edit, and there’s never been one that’s been shorter than six minutes, so there just really isn’t the time!”
James has worked with a lot of famous musicians, including Madonna, Justin Bieber, Adele, and Mariah Carey, on ‘The Late Late Show’ and he hopes the Grammys will bring him one step closer to someone he’s been desperate to meet for some time.
He said: “I’ve never met Beyoncé. I don’t know if I’ll get to, but hopefully!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Niall Horan thinks Liam Payne and his girlfriend Cheryl will have a “lovely” child.
The 23-year-old former One Direction hunk thinks his friend is probably “nervous” about becoming a father for the first time, but thinks the news – which the couple haven’t officially confirmed – is “very exciting”.
He told the Daily Star Online: “I’m looking forward to it.
“Liam hasn’t said he’s nervous but I’m sure he is.

He said: “Everyone is getting excited about my hair.
“To be honest it is too much of a pain in the arse to keen dying it.
“I don’t have the time to keep it up and it is my natural colour so if it doesn’t suit me then I’m f***ed.”
While Liam, 23, and 33-year-old Cheryl – who have been dating for over a year – haven’t officially confirmed their baby news, the ‘Fight For This Love’ hitmaker’s growing bump was visible when they attended a carol concert together in November, and an Instagram video of her at a photoshoot earlier this month also showed her fuller figure, though the clip has since been deleted.

OHMYGOSSIP — Aubrey Plaza “feels bad” about herself if she spends too long online.
The 32-year-old actress plays the title role in ‘Ingrid Goes West’, in which her character obsessively models herself on Elizabeth Olsen’s Instagram celebrity Taylor Sloane, and she can understand why people can get carried away with surfing the Internet.
She said: “I’m familiar with going online and spending hours on there that ultimately make me feel bad about myself.
“So I think there were definitely times on set when I would just allow myself to go there, to exist in that space that we all are familiar with, but some of us don’t really go into full force.”
In order to get into character for the film, Aubrey spend hours “stalking” her co-star, while Elizabeth, 27, did her best to make her friend “uncomfortable”.
Aubrey told Vulture: “I would just kind of stalk her on set. I would watch everything that she would do.”
Elizabeth admitted: “And I tried to make you so uncomfortable.”
Aubrey added: “And she would make me really uncomfortable. I took a picture of her the first day, and then that was my screensaver on my phone. I would look at it a lot. I don’t know, I just really went for it.”
Meanwhile, Elizabeth would enjoy using social media more herself if she wasn’t famous.
Asked if she likes using social media, she said: “I think I’d enjoy it if I weren’t an actor. There are a lot of funny things that are shared on it, and a lot of my friends, especially during the election year, would show me really funny things that were being passed around the internet that like, went viral — I don’t know what qualifies something as viral.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Thomas Sadoski is “so proud” of Amanda Seyfried.
The couple star together in ‘The Last Word’ and the 40-year-old actor was very impressed with the fact his 31-year-old fiancee – who is pregnant with his first child – was able to hold her own on screen opposite veteran actress Shirley MacLaine.
He said: “I watch this movie with so much pride because I’m watching my fiancee go toe-to-toe with Shirley MacLaine and hold her own, I’m just so proud.”
In the movie, the 82-year-old actress plays a controlling retired businesswoman who wants to write her own obituary, only for a young journalist – played by Amanda – to attempt to find the truth.
And both Thomas and Amanda were quick to acknowledge they were “in the presence of greatness” so they could learn from their iconic co-star.
Thomas told ‘Access Hollywood’: “You have to be professional but you have to allow yourself those moments of being in the presence of greatness because once you acknowledge it, you can learn from it.
“If you just roll in like it’s anybody… but that’s not Amanda and that’s not me, there’s a humility to both of us as artists.”
Thomas thinks his fiancee’s positive attitude about her own abilities have helped make a great film that audiences will enjoy.
He added: “I was so impressed with her, how she presented, she came in and said ‘I’m gonna learn from her but I’m gonna show up and bring what I bring’ and the two of them hit it off immediately, and you can see it, it bounces off the screen.
“I think people are going to love it, it’s a crowd pleaser.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlie Sheen regrets being “stupidly mean” to Ashton Kutcher.
The 51-year-old actor was fired from ‘Two and a Half Men’ in 2011 following his infamous meltdown, with the former ‘Punk’d’ star stepping in as the new lead cast member.
And with hindsight, Charlie wishes he’d been kinder to his replacement as he knows how difficult it can be to step into someone else’s shoes.
Speaking on KIIS 1065’s ‘Kyle & Jackie O Show’, he said: “I was stupidly mean to him because I overlooked the reality and difficulty of taking over a show.
“Which I did, I took over ‘Spin City’ when Michael J. Fox was too sick to work, but no one ever put those two together. … So, I should have been nicer.”
However, Charlie – who repeatedly slammed Ashton for some time after he took over ‘Two and a Half Men’ – took steps to bury the hatchet with the 38-year-old star a few months ago.
He said: “I saw him at a Dodgers game back in November and I forced him into a handshake.
“I said, ‘Give me that cup of coffee, young man, and shake my hand.’ It was awkward but I made it fine, because I felt bad for him. He thought he was going to catch a right cross, but I just wanted to give him a hug.
“He was tasked with such an uphill struggle and I was more into my own ego than I was aware of his own battle. And for that I am regretful.”
But one person Charlie still holds a grudge against is the show’s creator Chuck Lorre.
He fumed: “The most ridiculous impostor, Chuck Lorre, I hope you’re listening. Hey Chuck: Suck my f***ing butt.”
The ‘Anger Management’ star admitted that while he was still struggling with his personal problems, Chuck called him to ask if he was deliberately trying to sabotage the show.
He added: “What I should’ve said is, ‘Dude, when you’re done touching it, suck it!'”

The ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ star is devastated that her two-year relationship with her “first true love” has come to an end, and shared the news in a tearful Facebook Live video with her fans.
In the clip, she said: “All of you guys are so invested in my family and our lives and I feel like when we signed up for the show, we gave you a promise to show you our lives and to be as honest as we can about it and that’s just what I’m trying to do now.
“So to cut to the point…Blaire and I are no longer dating.
“It hurts, it does because for me he was that definition of just my first true love and I’m trying to stay strong y’all.”
But the 19-year-old beauty queen urged her fans not to “send negative vibes” to Blaire as it is no one’s fault their relationship ended.
She said: “I hope that you will please do me a favour and don’t send negative vibes to him. He doesn’t deserve that. We are young. We had our young love.
“It wasn’t my fault. It wasn’t his fault. There were faults on both sides.”
And Savannah will always be grateful to have had their time together.
She said: “I will always love him and it just is what it is. I am so grateful that God has let me experience this kind of love.”
Earlier this month, Savannah was involved in a horrifying car accident that left her with broken vertebrae.
And the teenage star felt the crash was a wake-up call from God and has vowed to reassess her priorities.
She previously said: “The next month or so I will be recovering from a broken vertebrae which has caused numbness in my hands and fingers and pain all throughout my neck, back, and shoulders. While recovering physically I’m going to take time to recover spiritually and mentally as well. I want to be the best version of myself possible and that will happen.
“We all make mistakes…all that matters is how we learn and grow from them. I truly believe that God has used this situation to open my eyes to what is truly important in life and to put my focus back on Him in order to live the right life and be unbelievably happy. ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nikki Bella was devastated not to be included in the WWE draft.
The ‘Total Divas’ star had been given the all-clear by medics to return to the ring following her neck injury so was stunned to receive an email letting her know she wouldn’t be part of the wrestling brand extension.
She said: “I don’t even have words right now. I just got the worst email anyone could ever get. I literally just got an email which says I cannot be a part of the draft. I was cleared by my surgeon, I feel ready to go, I really just don’t know what to think right now.
“For some reason I thought that they’d wanna clear me quick and make sure I was a big part of the draft, but I’m not on the roster…so is like that the end for me?”
However, while the 33-year-old star initially questioned whether her career was at an “end”, she vowed to continue training hard in order to make her return to the WWE eventually.
Speaking on the midseason finale of ‘Total Divas’, she said: “I feel really sad because I’m not at TV with the other girls, I’m not getting drafted, but I’m going to prove to everyone that Nikki Bella will be back in that ring, because no one can stop me.”
Earlier in the episode, after being given the green light to resume her training, Nikki admitted she was feeling like a “beginner” as she had been out due to her injury for such a long time.
She said: “I’m totally feeling like a beginner right now. I’ve been out for a year and a year is a long time to be missing from the ring.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kardashian celebrated his one year anniversary with fiancée Blac Chyna with a sweet video.
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star – who proposed to the 28-year-old model in April 2016 after dating for four months – has taken to social media to share a montage of the couple together, which was originally created by the Instagram account @BlacChynaArmy.
The footage features clips of the pair kissing, cuddling up to one another, Blac stroking Rob’s hair whilst he lays in her lap, as well as the couple dancing together, whilst DJ Khaled and Chris Brown’s 2015 track ‘Hold You Down’ played over the top.
The 29-year-old sock designer captioned the heartfelt post: “1 year down lol woohoooooo happy anniversary babbbbbbiiiiiiiieeeeeee (sic).”
However, the brunette beauty – whose full name is Angela Renée White – has yet to return the kind-hearted gesture.
Meanwhile, Chyna – who has two-month-old daughter Dream with Rob, and four-year-old King Cairo with her former partner Tyga – has dropped an impressive 34 pounds in weight since giving birth to her second child in November last year.
The ‘Rob & Chyna’ star announced the news of her weight loss on Snapchat, as she shared a picture of her new size on the scales.
She captioned the upload: “From 192.2 to 158.2.”
And Chyna has insisted breastfeeding has helped her shed the body mass.
Speaking previously, she said: “I’ve been carrying a baby for 10 months, so I’m ready to hang out. It’s not really scary to be away from Dream, because I have tons of help and I’m not that far. If I was in Paris of New York I would feel super uncomfortable right now.
“I’m just really breastfeeding because you have to wait six weeks until you work out. And I just started hiking with Rob so we’re back on our health tip, and I’m drinking a ton of water.”
