OHMYGOSSIP — Bruno Mars would “trade music” to have his late mother back.
The 31-year-old singer’s mother Bernadette San Pedro Bayot passed away in 2013 aged just 55 after suffering with a brain aneurysm, and the star says her death “changed” his life and despite knowing she would want him to continue to make music, he would give up his career to see her again.
Speaking to the February issue of Latina magazine, the ’24K Magic’ hitmaker said: “My life has changed.
“She’s more than my music. If I could trade music to have her back, I would.
“I always hear her say, ‘Keep going and keep doing it.'”
And despite admitting he would throw in the towel in order to have his mother back, the ‘Just The Way You Are’ musician previously revealed he hopes he will be remembered for his music and not for any “scandals or controversy”.
Asked how he wants to be remembered, he shared: “I hope that my music does the talking. I just wanna do music. It could be boring for people this day and age, but I don’t wanna be known for no scandals or controversy. I want to be the guy that brings joy to your life through his music. That’s it.”
Meanwhile, Bruno claimed the hardships he faced as a child – when his family were forced to make anywhere their home – gave him a certain “mentality” when it came to making music.
He said previously: “My dad was just the king of finding these little spots for us to stay that we should never have been staying at … It didn’t have plants growing inside. I don’t know what happened to the roof. But the bed would be right there in the middle.
“We’d all sleep in one bed. We had each other, and it never felt like it was the end of the world. Maybe that’s why I have this mentality when it comes to the music. Because I know I’m going to figure it out, just give me some time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — DJ Khaled has bought a $9.9 million mansion in Beverly Hills.
The 41-year-old record producer handed over the whopping amount for a seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom home in the Californian city, which was previously owned by musician Robbie Williams.
Robbie, 42, bought the lavish house from country singer Clint Black for $5 million in 2002 before giving it some much needed renovations which almost doubled its value to the hefty price tag paid by the rapper.
According to the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column, the mansion – which was built in 1992 – is situated in the popular celebrity gated community Mulholland Estates, which made headlines in 2009 after a robbery saw Paris Hilton lose $2 million worth of jewellery.
The publication also reports that the home boasts special features such as a recording studio, a gym, a swimming pool with a waterfall, an outdoor kitchen, and a covered outdoor dining area complete with television and fireplace.
The mansion’s master bedroom reportedly features a separate sitting area with a wall of glass doors that open to a private patio complete with a gas fire pit.
The master bathroom is decked out with custom tile in the stand-up shower, a large stone bathtub, and a window seat.
Elsewhere in the house, the kitchen is made up of largely grey countertops with dark wood cabinets. The appliances are mostly stainless steel, and include a fridge with a glass door.
According to reports, the home was originally listed for $11 million, but DJ Khaled – who will likely move into the property with his partner Nicole Tuck and their three-month-old son Asahd Tuck Khaled – was able to knock $1 million off of the asking price.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bebe Rexha has “never” spoken to Eminem.
The 27-year-old singer has admitted despite penning the song ‘The Monster’, which she “had to” give away to the 44-year-old rapper who collaborated with Rihanna on the track, the pair have never exchanged words not even once.
Speaking openly about her career in a Facebook Live chat with The Sun newspaper, the blonde beauty said: “I have never spoken to Eminem, I have never even spoken to him once. That’s the way the music business works, it’s very interesting.”
And Bebe has admitted although she had to pass on her creative piece to another musician who would have a bigger success with the track, she was adamant her voice would still feature on the single even in the background because she was precious about her work and felt “selfish” towards her own artistry.
She explained: “Rihanna’s voice is on it, but I want to keep one part. I just turned 20, when you’re younger you are selfish, and I see now that song has opened so many doors for me. At that time I didn’t have a record deal. I sang that song to record labels and they said ‘Monsters under my bed, voices inside my head. Yeah right, nobody is ever going to want to listen to that. That sounds like a flop to us.’ Literally I had someone tell me that. So, I think at that time I had no choice but to give the song away, because I had, number one, no money and no record deal.”
However, Bebe – real name Bleta Rexha – has admitted she wouldn’t be adverse to working with the ‘Slim Shady’ hitmaker or the 28-year-old ‘Work’ vocalist because she has “a lot” of respect for the pair.
She said: “I have a lot of respect for Eminem and Rihanna, because they’re both very real in their music. Even though it’s popular music. I’ve been in the music business for ten years now, but to the world I’m relatively new. It’s awesome how people come to my shows and they know about my story and how I was a songwriter at first.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Tomlinson has reached out to former girlfriend Eleanor Calder after splitting from Danielle Campbell.
The 25-year-old singer ended his romance with Danielle, 22, after 14 months of dating, and it has been reported the ‘Just Hold On’ hitmaker has sought comfort from his previous lover – who he dated for four years before calling time on their romance in 2015 – following his recent break-up, which came merely a few weeks after the death of his mother Johannah Deakin in December.
And it is believed Louis went directly to Eleanor because he believes she is the only person he can “rely” on during this difficult time as he copes with his grief.
The source told The Sun newspaper: “Louis has had a rough ride the past few months and Eleanor wants him to know she is there if he needs anybody to talk to. They were together for a number of years and Louis feels he can rely on her.”
And Louis – who has 12-month-old son Freddie with his previous partner Briana Jungwirth – has vowed to maintain a friendship with Danielle and hold “no bad feeling” towards one another.

OHMYGOSSIP — Gail Porter used to stuff her unopened bills under her pillow when she was experiencing mental health problems.
The 45-year-old television presenter – who declared herself bankrupt over the weekend – has acknowledged her money woes started when she was sectioned six years ago following a mental breakdown because she ignored so many warning letters from companies asking her for payment.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’ on Monday (30.01.17), she said: “You can’t pay your bills because a doctor is looking after you. I didn’t open them. The bills kept coming in and I’d had a breakdown and I’d lost my mum, there were lots of things going on in my life so I put them under a pillow. My problem was I kept running away from everything. I was an idiot and I kept running.”
Gail’s financial situation got so bad that she resorted to sleeping on a park bench in Hampstead Heath, London, because she couldn’t afford to rent a property.
She explained: “It wasn’t recent but yeah. It was ages and ages ago and I couldn’t afford anywhere so I just hung out on Hampstead Heath park on the bench.
“My daughter Honey didn’t know at the time. She is 14 now though, so she knows. I’ve got an amazing relationship with my daughter, me and my ex-husband get on great.”
Gail’s income started to get less from 2005 when she was forced to give up modelling because she lost her hair completely after she developed the autoimmune condition alopecia totalis.
The Scottish star – who was previously married Toploader guitarist Dan Hipgrave – now lives off just £200 a week after she’s paid rent on her flat.
Her current earnings are a far cry from what she used to bank as just 16 years ago she was hosting ‘The Big Breakfast’ and reporting for travel show ‘Wish You Were Here’.
She also presenter ‘Top of the Pops’ back in the day, was a regular in the men’s magazines and even had her naked body projected onto the Houses of Parliament by FHM.
Gail has also appeared on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and presented ghost-hunting show ‘Dead Famous’ on Living TV – now known as Sky Living.

OHMYGOSSIP — Caitlyn Jenner is now living as “her true self” following years of denying who she really was.
The 67-year-old star – who was previously known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing gender reassignment surgery in 2015 – is set to release her memoir titled ‘The Secrets of My Life’ in April this year, and she has admitted she has endured a “long personal struggle”, but she has finally found happiness with herself.
Speaking in a behind-the-scenes video, which has been obtained by PEOPLE, and includes quotes from Caitlyn’s tell-all book, she said: “Imagine denying your core and soul. Then add to it the most impossible expectations that people have for you because you are the personification of The American Male Athlete. After a lifetime of secrets … and a long personal struggle … Caitlyn Jenner is finally learning to live as her true self.”
And Caitlyn – who has daughters Kendall, 21, and Kylie, 19, with ex-wife Kris Jenner – has admitted time has been “moving so quickly” for her over the past few months, she is glad to be able to take some time to “reflect” on her major transformation.
Speaking previously, the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star said: “Things have been moving so quickly that it will be nice to slow things down a bit and take the proper time to reflect on this journey. I couldn’t pick a better team … to make sure this story is told with a lot of honesty and care.”
Caitlyn first announced she was working on the memoir in January 2016, and took to social media in November last year to reveal the details of the upcoming publication, and her excitement at the project.

OHMYGOSSIP — Viola Davis’ husband cried watching ‘Fences’.
The 51-year-old actress picked up the Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role at Sunday’s (29.01.17) ceremony and Julius Tennon – with whom she has five-year-old daughter Genesis – couldn’t be prouder of his wife.
He gushed: “It was an incredible performance – it was just awesome. I did cry.”
Viola added: “He was a linebacker and he cried”.
Both Viola and her co-star Denzel Washington – who won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role – reprised their Broadway roles in the movie adaptation of ‘Fences’ and the actress couldn’t have asked for a better filming experience.
She gushed to ‘Extra’: “Perfect experience, perfect locations, perfect actors, perfect director, perfect narrative, perfect writing, perfect role, and usually something is off about a job. This is when everything is in alignment, and I’m just glad people received it.”
And the actress also confessed to enjoying a McDonald’s meal when she’s having a “cheat day” – but admitted she won’t divulge her habit to her personal trainer.
Asked her favourite cheat meal, she said: “French fries. A McDonald’s French fry. But I’m gonna tell my trainer I did not eat French fries.”
In her acceptance speech, Viola praised playwright August Wilson, who wrote the play the movie was based on, for helping to tell a tale of an ordinary black family just leading their lives.
She said: “What August did so beautifully is he honoured the average man, who happened to be a man of colour.
“And sometimes we don’t have to shake the world and move the world and create anything that is going to be in the history book.
“The fact that we breathed and lived a life and was a god to our children, just that, means that we have a story and it deserves to be told.
“We deserve to be in the canon of any — in the center of any narrative that’s written out there. And that’s what August did. He elevated my father, my mother, my uncles who had eighth and fifth grade educations, and he just encapsulated them in history.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Leigh-Anne Pinnock has shared the first picture of her new boyfriend Andre Gray on Instagram.
The 25-year-old singer has reportedly been dating the soccer star since late 2016 and has posted a sweet snap of them together on the photo-sharing website.
She captioned the photograph, in which Andre is cuddling her from behind: “Gonna miss this one (sic)”
The Little Mix singer is poised to embark on another tour with her bandmates while Andre will remain in the UK, where he plays for Burnley F.C., meaning they are set to spend a prolonged period apart.
Leigh-Anne’s eye-catching Instagram post came shortly after she rubbished critics of Little Mix’s skimpy outfits.

The 37-year-old beauty gave her social media followers an eye-opening look into her family vacation in Costa Rica, where she has apparently been escaping her everyday stresses by swimming naked in a pool.
The mother-of-three has her back to the camera in the sultry snap, in which she has her arms folded across her chest while her dark locks cascade down her tanned back.
Kourtney is currently in Costa Rica with her three children – Mason, seven, Penelope, four, and her two-year-old son Reign – and her on-again off-again boyfriend Scott Disick.
Kourtney and Scott, 33, split in 2016 after she became frustrated with his party-loving lifestyle, but he has since made a concerted effort to win her back.
The reality star has managed to curb his drinking and become more self-disciplined as he’s tried to convince Kourtney to rekindle their romance.
However, a source recently insisted Kourtney is happily single for the time being.
The insider explained: “Kourtney and Scott are not back together or even at the point of trying to make things work. Kourtney is happy being a parent right now and that is her number one interest right now.
“She’s not interested in being in a relationship with anyone. [Kourtney and Scott] have a wonderful relationship and are doing an amazing job at being good friends for their kids. There is nothing more to it than that right now.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Viggo Mortensen celebrated his Oscar nomination by taking out the garbage.
The 58-year-old actor didn’t want to disturb his sleeping father when he got the call to say he’d been shortlisted for Best Actor in a Leading Role for ‘Captain Fantastic’ so simply got on with the everyday tasks that needed doing in his dad’s home.
He said: “I was with my father and he was sleeping and I didn’t want to wake him up, but I communicated with all the kids [from the film], we’re all very happy for each other, we got another one for the team, so I was very happy.
“The next thing I did, as soon as I heard, was go and salt my dad’s steps because they were a little icy.
“Oh you know an Oscar, that’s wonderful, [then] I hung up the phone and then took out the garbage, salt the steps, got on with my day.”
For ‘Captain Fantastic’ – in which Viggo played Ben, a man who has been raising his kids in a forest cut off from the world following his wife’s diagnosis with bipolar disorder – the actor and his young co-stars had to practise yoga, gutting animals and learn to climb.
And Viggo admitted he will always claim he has the skills necessary for any role he’s offered, and will then desperately do his homework afterwards.
He admitted to USA Today: “You do tend to say yes, no matter what they say, actors historically will say yes. ‘Ride a horse?’ ‘Oh yeah’. ‘Skydive? ‘Sure. ‘Do you know anything about physics?’ ‘Sure, I’m a physics major.’
“You’ll say whatever and then figure out how to do it later.
“First say yes, they’ll say yes, then go do your homework or find out from someone who really knows about it and they’ll teach you.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Russell Brand is worried that his daughter will grow up and “date someone” like him.
The 41-year-old British comedian, who is a reformed drug abuser and sex addict, has two-month-old Mabel with his fiancée Laura Gallacher and he has already started contemplating the nightmare of his little girl going out with boys when she gets old and he’s hoping she avoids a lothario like him.
Russell, whose upcoming comedy tour ‘Re:Birth’ will cover parenting, said: “What am I going to tell my daughter about conformity and responsibility? What happens if she grows up to be like me or, worse, date someone like me?”
He also questioned: “How do we make sense of the madness of our lives once we become parents?”
Russell has made no secret of how he feels about fatherhood, in a previous interview he gushed: “It’s the most wonderful thing. To have something outside of yourself that’s more important than you. Other than West Ham United.”
Asked if having a child changed his perception on the world, he added: “Do you know, in some ways I do. That’s a good observation. It’s a wonderful experience being a dad!”
Even before Mabel arrived back in November, Russell showed his excitement.
He shared: “I feel lit up by the idea. I’m very excited about becoming a dad and I’m preparing myself. I am just getting ready to be with a new little person and see what it is they want. [Laura is] decorating the nursery. Around domestic issues, my vote is often secondary … Or the vote of my gender at least, so I will just wait to see what is determined.”
Russell also confessed to reading parenting books every week.
He said: “I read a different book every week and I read one on preparation for fatherhood to mentally prepare me for it. I don’t know that it has prepared me for it.
“I’ve painted the room, I’ve done the things that you’re supposed to do, I’ve accepted the idea that that person will be more important than me, ‘Jesus Three’ I’m thinking of calling him or her, we don’t know the gender. I may not even ever impose a gender upon it, let the child grow up and be the whatever the hell it is, never tell it there is such a concept.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsay Lohan pranked an Australian radio station by hanging up the phone during a live interview.
The ‘Mean Girls’ actress abruptly ended her chat with radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O on KIIS FM after the duo quizzed her about the previous time she cut short a chat in 2015.
Kyle told Lindsay just before the Hollywood star left him listening to a dial tone: “I learned that when a celebrity hangs up on you during an interview, it can sometimes be on purpose … I don’t know if you remember, but you were talking to us on that show.”
Lindsay apparently became annoyed at Jackie O when she asked the actress if she owns houses in her bases of Dubai, New York and London.
The 30-year-old star snapped: “What kind of question is that?”
And when Lindsay did eventually hang up the phone, Kyle said: “Oh she’s done it again, she’s done it again!”
On this occasion, though, Lindsay was simply playing a trick on the show’s presenters and she soon returned the call.
She said while laughing: “You guys set it up! We’re great together. We should have our own show in Dubai!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Maisie Williams is ready to make “bold decisions” about her career.
The 19-year-old actress has mixed feelings about ‘Game of Thrones’ drawing to a close in 2018 because she has always had the “safety net” of playing Arya Stark to fall back on when she didn’t land roles she’d auditioned for, but she’s looking forward to trying new things.
She said: “It has been my security blanket and it’s been a safety net. If I haven’t worked, or if I haven’t landed a role, I never beat myself up too much, because I’ve always got ‘Game of Thrones’.
“To not have that around is going to be really strange, but it’s also really exciting. It means I can now shape my career and I’m not tied down to anything, and I can really make bold decisions.”
And though season seven of the fantasy drama hasn’t yet aired, Maisie is already thinking about the end for her feisty alter ego.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I’m just trying to do the last few scenes that I have justice. I’m just trying to shape Arya the way that I have been so far, and give her a nice arc to end with, and hope the people are happy with it.”
‘Game of Thrones’ scooped Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series at Sunday’s (29.01.17) Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, while the cast were also up for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, and Peter Dinklage was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series.
And Maisie enjoyed being at the ceremony because she and her castmates get so few opportunities to hang out together as they all film in different parts of the world.
She said: “It’s so nice to see the other cast members and us all hang out. We don’t really get a chance to all hang out all together as a group on set because we’re all in such different storylines.
“But it’s so nice to get to come to awards shows like this because we all just get to have fun.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Casey Affleck insists he had no reason to thank his brother Ben at the Golden Globe Awards.
The ‘Manchester by the Sea’ star can’t understand why his older sibling said he was “taken aback” at not being mentioned when Casey picked up the Best Actor prize earlier this month.
While the 41-year-old actor admits he has “a lot” to thank his 44-year-old brother for, he doesn’t think on stage accepting a prize for a movie his brother had no involvement with was the right time to do it.
Speaking on E’s ‘Live From The Red Carpet’ at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday (29.01.17), he said: “I was sort of just curious as to what I was supposed to be thanking him for.
“Maybe he thought he was involved in the movie, but he wasn’t. There’s a lot of things to thank Ben for, but standing at the Golden Globes was not the moment to do it since he wasn’t involved in the movie.”
At the SAGs, Casey was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role – an accolade eventual winner Denzel Washington even expected him to win – but insisted he hadn’t prepared a speech for the occasion.
He said: “I just try to thank as many people as I can because it seems appropriate and conventional and the right thing to do because there’s so many people involved in a movie, until they play the music and someone kicks me off-stage.”
While Casey always thought the movie – in which he plays a loner janitor who is forced to confront the horrors of his past – was going to be “special”, he admits it was a challenge to get the tone right.
He said: “When I first read the script, I knew it was a very special script, and then, once they asked me to be involved, I wasn’t sure it would turn out to be a very special film.
“Over the course of shooting the movie, you never know if something’s going to be good or not.
“I think the hardest part was really just trying to do service to the script because it was so layered and so complex and so perfectly written that you just felt like, if you cannot mess it up, you’ll be serving the movie in the right way. It was a very heavy move and also a very funny movie and you want to be able to pull both off.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mariah Carey has recorded a new ballad about her split from James Packer.
The blonde beauty broke up from the 49-year-old Australian billionaire in October 2016, and Mariah has now spoken candidly about their aborted engagement after recording ‘I Don’t’.
Mariah told the latest episode of her reality TV show ‘Mariah’s World’: “Ever since the tour wrapped I took some time just to process my feelings and I started writing a song to express what I’ve been going through.
“And if you’re not getting the love that you need from someone that you’re supposed to be in a real relationship with, then why remain in that situation?”
The break-up song features the lyrics: “Cause when you love someone, you just don’t treat them bad, you messed up all we had. Probably think I’m coming back, but I don’t, I don’t.”
The recording comes shortly after Mariah admitted she finds songwriting to be “very healing”.
The chart-topping star – who is currently dating back-up dancer Bryan Tanaka – said she relishes being in the studio as it helps her to overcome her real-life problems.

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price has had her lips plumped.
The 38-year-old TV personality has documented her latest enhancement in an Instagram video, giving her 1.3 million followers a behind-the-scenes look at what the painful-looking procedure entails.
Alongside the video, Katie wrote: “Had a top up on my lips the other day in Manchester with @misspopey @loupudd @macaesthetics she’s the best (sic)”
In the clip, Katie is seen having oozing blood wiped from her enlarged lips – but the outspoken star insists she has no regrets about getting her lips done.
She says: “Rebecca has done my lips, I love them. They are so the best. You think I’ll travel all the way to Manchester to get my lips done? No. They are amazeballs.”
Katie is, of course, known to be a fan of enhancements procedures, having previously had Botox, lip fillers and a nose job, among other surgeries.
In 2016, the TV personality admitted she still gets “nervous” before getting work done.
Katie said: “The day of the surgery I just get really nervous, they put so many needles in me that’s the only thing I hate. Then once it’s in you get that nice little cocktail.”
However, the curvaceous star insisted she is not addicted to having surgery.
She explained: “I can tell you now that I am not addicted to surgery, I’ve only had my boobs, lip, nose and teeth. But then I have Botox and fillers. It’s not anything major, is it?”
Despite this, Katie admitted in September to having undergone as many as 11 boob jobs in the space of 12 months.
Katie said she’d gone under the knife several times to “look good” for a polo event she is attending.
