OHMYGOSSIP — Tamara Ecclestone has slammed “bitter” people who “sexualise” breastfeeding.
The 32-year-old socialite has gone on a long rant aimed at people who have criticised her for still breastfeeding her almost three-year-old daughter Sophia and she hopes speaking out against the haters will encourage other mothers to “open up about their breastfeeding journey” a she believes she is simply showing herself as “a mum doing her best”.
In a lengthy Instagram post alongside a picture of her feeding her little girl – whom she has with husband Jay Rutland – she wrote: “Find it a very sad and surprising sign of the times and the world we live in that the act of breast feeding your child evokes such hatred in so many bitter people. I am astonished that breast feeding mums get such a hard time as there is no reason why we should.
“I would never ask someone when they will take away their toddlers bottle or follow on formula or dummy or comforter nor do I judge those who choose to formula feed their children of give them cows milk. I support and empower all mums and I personally believe hatred is so heavy and bad for the soul.
“I hope by the time Fifi is a mumma people who have chosen to be open about Their breast feeding journey will mean that seeing a picture of a mum feeding their child won’t evoke any reaction and that it is seen only for what it is a mum doing her best. To me there is nothing but love in this photograph and I find is such a shame that it brings out anger in some of you it’s sad for you that that’s how you choose to live particularly those that have made comments trying to sexualise breastfeeding are particularly unwell I chose love. I want my daughter to grow up in a better world where this is nothing but normal in a better world. (sic)”
Tamara followed in her mother Slavica Ecclestone’s footsteps by nursing her daughter Sophia at an age a later age than most women and as a result she doesn’t like to leave her with anyone else at night.
She previously said: “I’m still feeding her so if she needs to be fed I need to be there. My mum was like that until we were old enough to understand, and even then she’d only leave us with family. I guess it’s just the way I am.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Aretha Franklin has announced that she is retiring later this year.
The Queen of Soul has decided that 2017 is the year she is going to stop making music and her final album is going to be a collaboration with Stevie Wonder which will be released in September.
She intends to spend more time with her grandchildren and her family.
Speaking to Detroit TV station WDIV Local 4, she said: “I must tell you, I am retiring this year. I feel very, very enriched and satisfied with respect to where my career came from and where it is now.”
Aretha, 74, will still be open to a small number of public engagements and has hinted she is going to find other passions to keep her occupied.
She added: “I’ll be pretty much satisfied, but I’m not going to go anywhere and just sit down and do nothing. That wouldn’t be good either … [I’ll be open] to some select things, manly one a month, for six months out of the year.”
Her final LP with Stevie, 66, will be a love letter to her hometown Detroit – the home of Motown Records – and will be comprised of new songs all of which are to be recorded in the Motor City.
The ‘Respect’ singer – who was born in Memphis but raised in Detroit from the age of five – has enjoyed a career packed with highlights and unique achievements since her first album was released back in 1956.
The legendary artist has had over 20 number one singles in the US and won the Grammy for Best R&B Vocal Performance eight years in a row – from 1968 to 1975 and in 1987 she was the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Aretha was also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President George W. Bush in 2005.

OHMYGOSSIP — Zach Galifianakis has joked that his kids’ names are Pink Berry and Jared Leno.
The ‘Lego Batman Movie’ star and his wife Quinn Lundberg become parents again to a little boy last November, whose name is reportedly Emmanuel Lundberg, and they also have a three-year-old son, whose name is unknown.
While appearing on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ he revealed their joke names, with the younger one being called Jared Leno; a combination of ‘Suicide Squad’ star Jared Leto and US talk show host Jay Leno.
Explaining the moniker Jared Leno, he quipped: “Being in LA, I didn’t want to give them LA names. One of them is called Pink Berry. Pink Berry is the older one. And the other one is named Jared Leno. It’s a cross between Jared Leto and Jay Leno.”
The 47-year-old star keep his work and private life separate and hasn’t told his children what he does for a living, which is why his eldest was shocked to see his dad’s face on a billboard.
He told host Jimmy: “My kids don’t know anything. We don’t talk about what I do for a living, nor do my wife and I. When you are lucky enough to have a show in this town, there’s billboards. I was driving with my son, and there’s a bus that pulls up, and it had my picture on it. So I’m looking in my rear view mirror to see how my three-year-old son is reacting to it, and he looks over, and he sighs. As if to say, ‘How long is this phase gonna last?’ ”
Zach and his wife – who got married at the UBC Farm in Vancouver, British Columbia, in August 2012 – are planning to have more children in the future.
Asked how many kids he’d like to have, Zach previously quipped: “I’d like to have 10 kids.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Wood can’t wait to share his childhood memories of being a “backstage kid” at his dad Ronnie Wood’s Rolling Stones gigs with his twin step-sisters.
Jamie is the eldest son of the legendary rock group’s guitarist Ronnie – who he adopted when with his ex-wife Jo Wood, Jamie’s mother – already has plans to tell the musician’s eight-month-old girls Gracie Jane and Alice Rose all about growing up on the road when they are old enough to take it all in.
In an interview with The Times newspaper, he said: “I often wonder what they will think of me when they hear the stories of the 70s and 80s when I was a kid backstage.”
Jamie also said that he gets on really well with his father’s wife Sally.
The 42-year-old restaurateur said: “I love Sally. Sally is a good woman.”
As for his own kids, Jamie is having problems with his “nightmare” 18-month-old son, but admits it is more than likely his “own fault” because he lets the toddler sleep in bed with him and his model wife Jodie.
Jamie – who also has older children Leo and Kobe with Jodie and a 17-year-old son, Charlie, from a previous relationship – said: “He’s a nightmare child; doesn’t eat properly, doesn’t sleep properly. It’s probably my fault because I do like to have cuddles so I bring him into the bed.”
Jamie previously revealed that he convinced his wife to be a stay at home mother because he wanted their kids to have stability at home.
He said: “My wife used to be a model and an actress, but I made her stop. She got pregnant and I said, ‘You’re not going off on to a movie set for three months, it’s not happening. If you are going to have a family, you have a family.”
Ronnie also has son Jesse, 40, with his first wife the late Krissy Findlay, and Leah, 38 and Tyrone, 33, with second wife Jo.

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham doesn’t feel she can face the day unless she has makeup on.
The 42-year-old fashion designer has to put a bit of slap on her face on in the mornings to feel put together because being a busy, in-demand working mother to four children, sons Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11, and five-year-old daughter Harper, whom she has with her husband David Beckham, means she needs a bit of help to look her best.
Speaking to the Vogue website, she said: “I have no shame in admitting that I love makeup! I’m a total beauty junkie, and always have been. I was constantly rifling through my mum’s makeup bag when I was little, and I loved nothing better than watching her getting ready to go out – putting her lipstick and eyeliner on. I like to celebrate being a woman – and for me, makeup is just a part of that. You know, I’m not a supermodel – I’m a working mother of four children – and sometimes I need a little bit of help from my makeup bag to make me feel ready to take on the world in the morning!”
Although looking after her kids has had an effect on her under eye bags, the former Spice Girls singer feels incredibly lucky to have children who are so well behaved.
She said recently: “You don’t have a rule book when you have a child. You just do the best that you can and I think the kids are doing a good job. They’re well-mannered, hard-working, they’re fun and they’re happy kids. So what more can you ask for?”
However, Victoria and her spouse David do have some strict guidelines in place for their children – especially when it comes to dating.
David, 41, said previously: “Obviously Brooklyn is definitely at that age. You know, he’s 16, he’s definitely at that age. We’re strong parents, and strict parents, but we’re like most parents. We love our kids and we want the best for them, so we’ll see.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tara Palmer-Tomkinson’s ex-boyfriends have paid tribute to the star in the wake of her death.
The 45-year-old socialite was found dead at her London home on Wednesday (08.02.17) and since the tragic news broke tributes have been flooding in for the British ‘It Girl’
Among those sharing their heartfelt feelings for Tara are two of her ex-boyfriends – singer-and-actor Duncan James and actor Sid Owen.
Former Blue singer Duncan, 38, dated Tara between 2008 and 2009 but remained close friends with her after their split and was spotted having lunch with her in London’s King’s Road last year.
Duncan took to Twitter to write: “Heartbroken and numb I have lost one of my oldest and dearest friends. I’m going to miss ur laughter the most shmooey. Rip sweetheart (sic)”
He also changed his profile picture to a throwback snap of him hanging out with his beloved pal in celebration of their friendship.
Duncan previously described his days spent with Tara as a “fun time filled with amazing stories”.
Meanwhile, former ‘EastEnders’ star Sid Owen described Tara, whom he dated in 1997, as a “beautiful woman”.
He tweeted: “Very sad and in shock to hear about the passing of Tara PT. A beautiful woman inside and out. Great fun and never a dull moment. RIPTPT (sic),” accompanied with a prayer emoji.

Following the discovery of her body, a police spokesperson confirmed they were called to a property in London and that her death is currently “being treated as unexplained”.
A statement said: “Police were called by London Ambulance Service at approximately 13:40hrs on Wednesday, 8 February to an address in Bramham Gardens, SW5.
“A woman, aged in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed. The death is being treated as unexplained. At this early stage, police are not treating the death as suspicious. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing. The Coroner has been informed.”
Tara had revealed a year ago that she had a brain tumour and was convinced she had just “weeks to live” when doctors broke the news to her.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel Brooks is to be honoured with the BAFTA Fellowship at the ceremony on Sunday night (12.02.17).
The 90-year-old comedy filmmaker is to receive the prestigious honour in recognition of his “outstanding and exceptional contribution to film” with a career that has spanned six decades.
Among Brooks most acclaimed films are ‘The Producers’ and ‘Blazing Saddles’, and he is considered a master of the parody genre with movies such as ‘Star Wars’ spoof ‘Spaceballs’, Alfred Hitchcock take-off ‘High Anxiety’, comedy ‘Robin Hood: Men in Tights’ and horror send-ups ‘Young Frankenstein’ and ‘Dracula: Dead and Loving It’.
Brooks joins a list of revered movie makers and actors to be chosen for the accolade by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts with past recipients including Steven Spielberg, Sir Sean Connery, Dame Elizabeth Taylor, Dame Judi Dench, Martin Scorsese, Dame Helen Mirren, Sir Christopher Lee, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Laurence Olivier. ‘Lilies of the Field’ star Sidney Poitier was last year’s winner.
Speaking about the award, Brooks said: “I am not overwhelmed, but I am definitely whelmed by this singular honour. To be included among such iconic talents is absolutely humbling. In choosing me for the 2017 Fellowship I think that BAFTA has made a strangely surprising yet ultimately wise decision.”
The British Academy Film Awards take place at the Royal Albert Hall in London and will be presented by Stephen Fry.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jemima Kirke blames her divorce on her acting career.
The ‘Girls’ star ended her marriage to Michael Mosberg last summer after seven years of marriage as she began looking at her life in a different way.
She said: “I got divorced, and I attribute that to acting. And just asking myself, ‘Is this really me?’ So much of my life has been about reaction, just following the flow rather than making a strong choice.
“In acting you are always asking yourself why you do things, why you make the choices you make. Everything means something. And so then you start looking at your own life in that way. I’ve learnt a lot more about myself and started to figure out what I really want.”
And the 31-year-old actress insists she isn’t bothered about being likeable.
She added: “It is important, I think, that people allow themselves to have opinions and to not be so f***ing likeable. Everyone is so precious and so safe with the things they say; everyone’s so scared of being slammed and judged. I’m just not.”
Meanwhile, Jemima admits feeling very emotional when she wrapped filming for the television series.
She added to this week’s issue of ES Magazine: “I am not at all sentimental, and on the last day of filming, I was like, ‘Oh God, do I have to hug everyone?’
“But after my very last scene I went back to my dressing room and I was like, ‘Oh s**t, I think I’m going to cry.’ Because it actually did mean something to me that it was over – my life has changed so much because of it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Debra Messing was told her nose was “ruining” a movie.
The 48-year-old actress was left devastated when filmmaker Alfonso Arau – who helmed her first movie, 1995’s ‘A Walk in the Clouds’ – told her to visit a plastic surgeon because he didn’t like her hooter, and the incident left her confidence in tatters.
She recalled: “I’d never been on a film before. I was doing a love scene with Keanu Reeves. We started filming and the very famous director screamed ‘Cut’ and said, ‘How quickly can we get a plastic surgeon in here? Her nose is ruining my movie.’
“It was a shock. I was so confident coming out of graduate school with my Masters in acting.
“I’d studied in London and I was so well equipped with skill sets, and then to walk on set and have that happen – I was reduced to an un-Hollywood nose.”
It has taken Debra “years and years and years” to embrace her unique look and feels frustrated that Hollywood has such a “very narrow” definition of what is beautiful.
Speaking to ELLE.com at the MAKERS conference, she said: “It’s taken me years and years and years to finally own my differences and to love what’s different about me, and to come face to face with a truth within my industry, within our culture.
“There is a very narrow definition of what a beautiful, vital, vibrant, interesting woman looks like, and that’s the thing we’re constantly fighting against. My entire career I’ve been swimming in that pond, where it’s like, ‘Oh no, you don’t look right’.”
The former ‘Will and Grace’ star also told the conference how the director had pushed her to do an unscripted nude scene and lifted the sheet covering her to look at her body.
She said: “He dropped the sheet on top of me like a used Kleenex, then walked away without a word.”
But the nudity wasn’t even used in the final edit of the film, with Debra believing the “trauma” was a calculated “power play” to “demean” her and “strip” her of her “pride and power”.
Nine years after shooting ‘A Walk in the Clouds’, Debra ran into Alfonso in the street.
She recalled: “He said, ‘Bella! It’s been so long, you were so funny in the movie, I’m so happy to see you again!’ I said, ‘Thank you,’ and I turned around and never looked back.”
And the actress is thankful she never gave into the pressure to alter her appearance.
She said: “I have a strong nose, I have small breasts. I’m a f***ing original. My nose and I have come this far, and like Barbra Streisand I’m defiantly keeping it.”

The former couple – who split in 2012 after seven years of marriage – recently spent the holiday season in Aspen, Colorado, together with their kids Leni, 12, Henry, 11, Johan, nine, and Lou, seven.
While Heidi, 43, admits it is “never easy” when a relationship ends, she and the 53-year-old singer have worked hard to reach a point where things are amicable and they can come together for family occasions.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “It’s never really easy, I guess, when you break up. There was probably a reason for it and it kind of takes its time but then, you know, we’re always there for our children and always will be.
“You always make it work. You just do.”
The blonde beauty is looking forward to spending Valentine’s Day (14.02.17) with her boyfriend Vito Schnabel, 30, and has a few surprises planned for her hunky beau.
She said: “I’m very romantic and old fashioned.

OHMYGOSSIP — Keith Urban isn’t upset by Nicole Kidman’s racy ‘Big Little Lies’ scenes.
The 49-year-old actress insists her country singer spouse isn’t fazed by the adult topics of her new HBO series because he is an “artist” and realises it is an important aspect of her work.
Asked how Keith handled watching the scenes, she told E! News: “He knows. He’s an artist, so he knows that the work is the work, and obviously this character is…it’s important in terms of the way in which the storyline plays out, so you have to see all of it.”
While Nicole was joined by her husband at the Los Angeles premiere of the show, they won’t be able to support one another at the weekend as Keith will be at the Grammy awards, where he’s nominated for two prizes, while his wife will be in England as she’s up for Best Supporting Actress for her role in ‘Lion’ at the BAFTA Awards.
But the actress – who has daughters Sunday, eight, and Faith, six, with Keith, and grown-up kids Isabella, 24, and Conor, 22, with former spouse Tom Cruise – will have something to celebrate when they connect after the ceremonies.
She said: “I have to go to the BAFTAS – not have to, it’s an honour.
“I love Britain and I haven’t been nominated for a BAFTA for a long time, so I will not be going to the Grammys.
“I will be FaceTiming my husband and hoping that he wins.”
The couple will be reunited for Valentine’s Day (14.02.17) and Keith, 49, is planning a surprise for his wife.
Asked what he’s got planned, he said: “I can’t tell you that–she’s here, right there!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Johansson is “barely holding it together” as a working parent.
The ‘Ghost in the Shell’ star – who has two-year-old daughter Rose with husband Romain Dauriac – thinks being a mother is both an “incredible challenge and an incredible gift” and she often feels guilty about neglecting the different aspects of her life.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I don’t profess to know anything about parenting, anything more than anybody else, [but] being a working mom is an incredible challenge, [and] it’s an incredible gift.
“I think you always feel a little bit of guilt… If you’re at work, you feel like you’re missing out on those special moments with your kid. If you’re with your kid, you feel like you’re not giving enough to your job. It’s a balance.
“I have a lot of huge admiration for working moms. I’m barely, barely holding it together.”
Scarlett’s marriage has been rumoured to be in trouble, and she brought her mother, Melanie Sloan, along as her date to the amfAR New York Gala on Wednesday (08.02.17).
And the 32-year-old beauty couldn’t have thought of anyone “better” to take along to the event.
She said: “I really couldn’t think of anybody else that I’d rather [have] with me here tonight.
“[She’s] been incredibly inspiring for me in many, many ways, but certainly as a young girl.
“She never shielded us from what was going on in the zeitgeist in culture. She always made us aware, you know, socially aware. She always encouraged us to be politically and socially active, so I couldn’t imagine a better date tonight.”
Scarlett also paid tribute to her mother when she gave a speech at the gala, which was staged to benefit the American Foundation for AIDS Research, as she recalled her mom’s close friendship with a man who died of the disease at a time when it was a “taboo subject mostly whispered about.”
She also discussed the challenges her mother and father faced as working parents.
She said: “A night out on the town was a rare luxury for my parents who were probably trying to connect with one another and themselves.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga wants to “relive” her Super Bowl performance.
The ‘John Wayne’ singer staged a high-energy greatest hits set during the half-time break at the sorting spectacle over the weekend and she only hopes “the world” enjoyed the show as much as she did.
She said: “I’m really happy and had such an amazing time performing at the Super Bowl, wish I could relive it all over again.
“I really had a real sense of being in the zone for this performance, worked on it for a really long time, took months, trained hard. Every second I wanted to give the world and fans what they deserve, a great show.”
The 30-year-old pop star is used to performing at huge venues but she was humbled by the “surreal” experience of playing at the Super Bowl.
Speaking to Beats 1’s Zane Lowe for an Apple Music interview, she said: “When we first got there I asked my dad and friends and mom to come out to the field with me, and took a bunch of photos at the 50-yard-line…
“I was singing ‘Million Reasons’ and my mom and dad were right there. I think that’s why I said ‘Hi Mom and Dad’ — it was so surreal and to see my parents in the crowd.”
Gaga ended her show by catching the football and dropping into a pit, and she admits her sporting stunt was the most stressful aspect of the performance, which began on the roof of the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
She said: “I was really happy I caught the football.
“The night before I was going to sleep I looked up at the ceiling and wondered why on earth I thought it was a good idea to catch a football — it was all my idea.
“Biggest fumble of the night if I dropped it.

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Campbell once egged George Michael’s van.
The 46-year-old supermodel famously appeared in the late singer’s ‘Freedom ’90’ video but that wasn’t her first encounter with the ‘Careless Whisper’ hitmaker – who was found dead from heart failure last Christmas Day (25.12.16) – as he was once the victim of minor vandalism because Naomi was a big fan of George’s chart rival Boy George and his band Culture Club.
She admitted: “I knew [Michael] before the ‘Freedom’ video. I used to throw eggs at his van because I was a big Culture Club fan. I was in two Culture Club videos.”
When it came to casting his ‘Freedom ’90’ video, George used the biggest supermodels of the time, Naomi, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford.
And the former ‘Empire’ star admitted she was the one left to negotiate the deal for them all to appear – but George found her terms much lower than he expected.
Speaking at a Q & A with Town and Country magazine’s Stellene Volandes, she recalled: “George came up to me at this club in LA and said, ‘The girls are holding out on me, and I heard you were the leader.’ I told him, ‘I want two Concorde tickets,’ and he said, ‘Is that it?’ ”
Naomi recently spoke of how excited she is to now consider Boy George a friend as she used to spend “hours” sitting outside his house as a besotted teenage fan.
She said: “He was my childhood idol and I’m glad to be able to call him a personal friend.

OHMYGOSSIP — Channing Tatum is launching his own vodka.
The ‘Magic Mike XXL’ actor is hoping Born and Bred – his venture with Grand Teton Distillery – will “cause a little havoc” and allow drinkers to get into “manageable mischief”.
He said: “On the inside label, once you drink it down, or if you get your eye really close to the bottle, it says, ‘Cross my heart and hope for mischief.’
“That’s just what I want when I pour myself a drink. I want to just cause a little havoc, get into some trouble, get into some safe, manageable mischief.”
The 36-year-old star came up with the idea for the spirit line after going on a quest to find a “good American vodka” with his friend.
He told Bon Appetit magazine: “It was me and my buddy Jack, we were just sitting around drinking one day and he was like, ‘Why are all vodkas foreign and from somewhere cold? I would like an American vodka!’
“This was before Titos became what Titos is. We had no intention of jumping into the business at all. We just drank vodka. That was it. From there we went on a search.
“We wanted to find a good American vodka. We tried 25 or so and we really only liked about three.
“Grand Teton became our favourite. It just tasted better, different than any vodka that was on the top shelf. There was a smooth taste to it, like a cool feeling in your mouth. The aftertaste doesn’t burn. That’s the difference.”
Channing – who has three-year-old daughter Everly with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum – isn’t surprised by his new venture because every part of his life has been “shocking”.
He said: “I’m a stripper that became an actor that I guess is working in vodka.
“Nothing surprises me anymore. It’s all shocking. Every day I wake up and I have a pinch-yourself reality moment.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Derulo was “kicked off a plane” by American Airlines in a dispute over baggage fees.
The 27-year-old singer has insisted he requested to leave the flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Wednesday (08.02.17) after he was told a pal who had agreed to take a later flight with all of their bags, following confusion over check-in time, had been charged $4,000 for checking in the group’s 19 items of luggage.
And the star was outraged because his “status” has meant he has “never” had to fork out the whopping sum before, because American Airlines allow recognised stars to have three bags free of charge.
He explained to People: “We’d never paid for our bags because of our status – with all of our miles – so we’d never paid for bags. So $4,000 is obviously a huge sum. We were like, ‘No, we’re not paying that. We’ve got to turn the plane around.’
“And that was really upsetting to me because I felt like he was trying to make it seem like we were delinquents, and he was kicking us off the plane, when it was us that asked to get off the plane. I was like, ‘Listen, sir, you’re not going to talk down to me; I’m not your son. Don’t talk to me in that tone of voice.'”
And when the ‘In My Head’ hitmaker got off the plain, he was greeted by 15 police officers, as well as other members of American Airlines crew, and instead of retaliating with the foul language he claimed he was met with, he turned to social media to publicly broadcast the humiliating event – and things quickly changed.
He explained: “As you can imagine, I’m surrounded by 15 police officers, I’m not going to curse back because I know what’s going to happen. So I pick up my phone, and I go live on my Instagram.
“So I go live, and I start to hear whispers happening, and as soon as they find out who I am, everything changes. Every single person becomes somebody else, and all of a sudden, we’re not in trouble anymore.
“I just want everybody to be treated with respect. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. I’m not asking for anything extra, I’m not asking to be taken care of.”
Meanwhile, a police report is rumoured to have detailed a different turn of events, and have claimed Jason and his friends “smelled of marijuana and were getting aggressive” as they refused to hand over the passport identification.
