OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Watson has been taking advice about “navigating feminism”.
The 26-year-old actress, who also serves as a United Nations Women Goodwill Ambassador, has sought the advice of the acclaimed English author Caitlin Moran about the issue of gender inequality and has revealed she has formed a close friendship with the writer.
Recalling their first meeting, Emma said: “We ended up having coffee and she gave me all this fantastic advice about navigating feminism. It was such a relief.”
In fact, the ‘Harry Potter’ star said that Caitlin’s approach to life and feminism has helped to open her to a whole new way of thinking.
She told ELLE magazine: “Caitlin has a certain resilience which I find particularly inspiring. She had this much bigger birds eye view than I did at a time of some of the things I was struggling with.”
However, Emma stressed that Caitlin’s humorous approach to life has also helped her to understand the complexities of feminism.
She shared: “The kind of perspective I have and the longevity she has, kind of felt very steadying. She’s so f**king funny so that helps.”
What’s more, Emma spoke out in support of the recent Women’s Marches, which were staged across the world in protest against gender inequality.
Emma said she felt hugely excited by the scale of the movement and was impressed by how well organised it was, too.
She explained: “That has been the upside of the downsides of late which is difficult times, but also this emerging, very cohesive group of women that are being very vocal and showing real solidarity.
“The fact that we managed to organise one of the most peaceful, largest protests in history, says so much about what we can achieve and about us as a group. It feels very exciting.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Watson was named Woman of the Year at the ELLE Style Awards in London on Monday night (13.02.17).
The 26-year-old actress received the accolade in recognition of her on-screen talents as well as her campaigning for gender equality, which has included helping to launch the HeForShe solidarity initiative.
The ‘Harry Potter’ star is among the most outspoken women in Hollywood on the issue of gender equality and in 2014, Emma was appointed as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador.
As part of her role, Emma has spoken at the United Nations headquarters in New York and the World Economic Forum about the issue of equality for women.
The French-born British star has also visited various countries around the world to stress the need for women’s political participation.
Meanwhile, other winners at the star-studded bash included Blondie singer Debbie Harry, who claimed the Style Icon award, and Riz Ahmed, who won the Actor of the Year gong after his starring role in the widely-acclaimed ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’.
Elsewhere, Sasha Lane – who made her film debut in ‘American Honey’ last year – was named the Breakthrough Actress and French singer-songwriter Christine and the Queens walked away with the Album of the Year gong.
Other big-name guests in attendance at the fashion magazine’s annual ceremony included Beth Ditto, Thandie Newton and Vivienne Westwood.

OHMYGOSSIP — George and Amal Clooney “casually mentioned” they were expecting twins to Julie Chen.
The 55-year-old actor and his wife recently confirmed they are expecting a baby boy and girl in June, and Julie has now revealed how the news first came to light.
The 47-year-old TV host – who is married to CBS’ chief executive Leslie Moonves – shared: “Here’s the truth of the matter.
“My husband and I saw George and Amal about almost three weeks ago and they casually mentioned that they were expecting twins. We were all like, ‘Is it a secret?’ and George kind of went, ‘No.’ But we didn’t feel right telling anybody.”
And after speculation began to mount about whether the celebrity duo were expecting their first child together, the ‘Talk’ co-host decided it was time to go public with George and Amal’s baby news.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “My producer said, ‘We might report on it.’ I’m like, ‘No, it’s true! It’s totally true! He said it wasn’t a secret. Let’s break the news!’ I’ve been dying to tell.”
But before she announced the news to the world, Julie first spoke to her husband.
She explained: “I called Leslie first because they’re old friends. Leslie knows him for so long. He goes, ‘You know what? I think it’s OK.’ …This is news everyone celebrates! How could you want to keep it a secret?”
Julie’s confession comes shortly after George’s mother Nina said the Hollywood star will make a “great” dad.
Nina also revealed the ‘Money Monster’ actor and Amal, 39, personally came to visit her and George’s father Nick in order to deliver the happy news.
She shared: “We were with them and they told us together. We were all together, and it was lovely. It was just a personal moment.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Una Healy hopes The Saturdays reunite – but she doesn’t see it happening for “a few years”.
The 35-year-old singer – who starred in the chart-topping girl-group between 2007 and 2014 – released her debut solo album ‘The Waiting Game’ earlier this month, but has admitted she would like to perform with the band again in the future.
Una said: “I always say when the nostalgia kicks in, that’s when bands reform and I hope one day we will, but it won’t be for a few years.
“I really miss the girls and their company. We’re all doing out own thing, but I’ve got the guys in the band now. But of course I miss the girls.”
Despite this, Una insisted she was relishing the experience of being a solo artist, explaining it gives her the opportunity to indulge her own specific tastes in music.
She told ‘Lorraine’: “It’s so me, totally. The whole album is about my life … now it’s unleashed to the world. I feel I’ve done a full circle.
“I was embarking on the path of a singer songwriter. Going around pubs and clubs, then I joined the Saturdays and it was a huge change for me. It’s like being given a second chance to go back to the music I like.”
Una balances her music career with raising her two children, a four-year-old daughter called Aoife and a two-year-old son called Tadhg.
And the singer – who has been married to rugby player Ben Foden since 2012 – previously admitted she turns to “Google for tips” on parenting.
Asked whether she shares parenting tips with her former bandmates – Frankie Bridge, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King and Vanessa White – Una said: “I was the first to have a baby of course, but all the girls learn for themselves and every child is different. And there’s always Google. I’m living on Google for tips! It’s all a learning curve.
“My mum is the best mother I know and she raised me, and even she had to relearn it [being a mother] all again.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Pamela Anderson is bringing “a little help, a smile, and some glamour” to Julian Assange.
The former ‘Baywatch’ actress has sparked rumours she is romancing the WikiLeaks founder after she made a string of visits to the Ecuadorian Embassy in London – where he has been living under political asylum since 2012 after he was accused of rape during his 2010 visit to Sweden and amid fears he will be extradited to the US over claims made on his website – and she admits she enjoys taking him food and spending time with him because he lives in “dire circumstances” and she fully supports the actions he’s made.
Pamela – who has sons Brandon, 20, and Dylan, 19, with ex-husband Tommy Lee – said: “He’s living in dire circumstances so I like to bring a little help, and a smile, and some glamour.
“It’s so rare that he has someone to come and visit him and bring him things, and I want to be able to do that for him.
“It’s about support and I believe in what he is doing. Thank god for him. He’s sacrificed a lot for all of us.
“WikiLeaks is one of the only reliable news sources because it’s just the truth.
“I really believe history will look back on him as such an important person.”
However, the 49-year-old beauty – who first met Julian in 2014 – refused to confirm whether she is in a relationship with the “great guy”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Cannon’s decision to quit ‘America’s Got Talent’ has come as a shock to NBC.
The 36-year-old star announced on Monday (13.02.17) that he intended to walk away from the show, complaining he had been “threatened with termination” by executives at NBC because of the jokes he made during his Showtime comedy special.
But insiders at the broadcaster have refuted the suggestion Nick was threatened with the sack, telling the New York Post newspaper that the presenter still has a contract with NBC that he is legally bound to fulfil.
A source also said that NBC has been eagerly trying to get in contact with Nick, who has not yet responded to their messages.
Nick dramatically announced his decision to quit the show during a lengthy Facebook post, in which he insisted he would not allow his voice to be diluted by the network.
He wrote: “I write this from a deeply saddened and dolorous mindset. After days of deliberating over some extremely disappointing news that I was being threatened with termination by Executives because of a comedy special that was only intended to bring communities closer together, I was to be punished for a joke.
“This has weighed heavy on my spirit. It was brought to my attention by my “team” that NBC believed that I was in breach of contract because I had disparaged their brand. In my defense, I would ask how so? …
“I find myself in a dark place having to make a decision that I wish I didn’t have to, but as a man, an artist, and a voice for my community I will not be silenced, controlled or treated like a piece of property. There is no amount of money worth my dignity or my integrity. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have sparked rumours they’re dating again.
The 33-year-old actor split from the ‘La La Land’ star in April 2015 following four years of on/off dating but it seems a possible reunion could be on the cards for the talented pair after they were spotted cuddling and holding hands at the 70th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) on Sunday (12.02.17) at Grosvenor House in London.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “As soon as Andrew finished his meal he made a beeline for her and gave her a huge hug. They chatted and laughed for at least half an hour. They looked very animated and happy to be together.”
And the actress had every reason to be on cloud nine as not only did she cosy up to her former beau, she also scooped the Best Actress prize at the ceremony for her portrayal of Mia in ‘La La Land’, while the romantic comedy also picked up Best Film prize.
Although they ended their relationship some time ago, Andrew has made no secret of the fact that he still holds a candle for the 28-year-old star as he recently admitted that he’d choose her out of anyone else in the world to be stranded on a desert island with.
Asked who he’d choose to have with him if he was dropped on an island, he said late last month: “Emma Stone. I love Emma. She’s all right. She can come.”
And it seems the feeling is mutual as the 28-year-old beauty recently admitted that she’s been having a tough time since she ended her relationship with Andrew.
She said: “He’s someone I still love very much. It’s been interesting [since we split]. It’s been a good year. And sad. Pros and cons.”
Since their split, neither of them have struck up a relationship with anyone else but Emma did cause a storm in March when she and Austin Stowell were reportedly spotted flirting up a storm on the set of their then-new movie ‘Battle of the Sexes’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Holland is reportedly dating Ella Purnell.
The 20-year-old actor was spotted dancing with the ‘Kick-Ass 2’ beauty at Harvey Weinstein’s BAFTA afterparty at the Rosewood Hotel in central London on Sunday (12.02.17) night.
And the ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ star, who topped the public vote to scoop the 2017 EE Rising Star award at the BAFTAs is rumoured to have gone back to his hotel room at London’s Dorchester hotel to continue his celebrations, and invited Ella to join him.
A source told the Sun newspaper: “Tom and Ella were very close inside the Weinstein party and it looked really obvious that he was taken by her.
“He was out for a huge night and was leading her around the dance floor by the hand. He had loads of people around him, even his mum Nicola Frost, and at one point FaceTimed his friends from inside the venue.
“Tom and Ella went back to the Dorchester in separate cars. Tom had a room there and she didn’t.”
The Marvel actor previously romanced aspiring film director Elle Lotherington through his rise to fame but the pair appear to have grown apart.

The 23-year-old actress tied the knot with the ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ star in Las Vegas last October, and has praised her spouse as a “brilliant” actor and has a “great respect” for him.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “He’s definitely one of the most brilliant actors, for sure. I’m incredibly proud of him, and I have great respect for him.”
However, the ‘A Cure for Wellness’ star insisted she likes to keep her private life to herself and refused to indulge any further details of their relationship.
Meanwhile, 30-year-old Shia previously admitted marrying Mia was “the best thing he ever did for himself”.
Asked how married life is, he said: “I love it, man. That’s one that’s not been a f**k up, that’s been the best thing I ever did for myself.
“I’m like a serial monogamist. I think it’s cause I’m deeply insecure. Once you get vulnerable with a person, that’s it. I’ve never been a one night stand guy.”

The 38-year-old TV star took to Twitter on Monday (13.02.17) to confirm that she is now half-way towards divorcing her husband James, who she married in August 2015.
She wrote: “Decree Nisi came today. Excuse me while I dance from here to Barbados and back…… Wahoooooooooo BEST DAY EVER. Halfway to divorce!..
“Tonight I be celebrating… I will throw the mother of ALL parties when that happens. And I will dance naked in my kitchen… Haha good choice.

The 26-year-old musician – whose real name is Abel Tesfaye – set tongues wagging he was dating the 24-year-old songstress last month, and the pair are rumoured to be getting even closer as he regularly tells the brunette beauty how much he “cares” for her.
Speaking about the ‘Starboy’ hitmaker’s love life, a source told E! News: “They are falling for each other.
“[He] has told [Selena] how much he cares for her.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Solange Knowles has vented her anger at Beyonce being overlooked for the Album of the Year gong at this year’s Grammys.
In a series of now-deleted tweets, the 30-year-old sister of Beyonce criticised the Record Academy for giving the night’s most prestigious award to only two black artists since 1997.
Solange wrote: “There have only been two black winners in the last 20 years for album of the year. There have been over 200 black artist[s] who have performed.”
Solange’s statement was factually inaccurate as Lauryn Hill, OutKast, the late Ray Charles, and Herbie Hancock have all won the gong over the last 20 years.
However, the singer-songwriter continued with her rant after Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ album was overlooked in favour of ’25’ by Adele.
She said: “Create your own committees, build your own institutions, give your friends awards, award yourself, and be the gold you wanna hold my g’s. (sic)”
Solange’s criticism of the annual awards bash came after she came out in support of a Tumblr post from Grammy boycotter Frank Ocean, who took aim at the event’s producer Ken Ehrlich and writer David Wild.
Solange wrote “Wuddup frank (sic)” next to a post which read: “I’m one of the best alive and if you’re up for a discussion about the cultural bias and general nerve damage the show you produce suffers from then I’m all for it.”
And Solange’s obvious frustration was given further credence by Adele during her acceptance speech for the Album of the Year gong, when she admitted she thought Beyonce deserved the title.
The London-born star said: “I can’t possibly accept this award, and I’m very humbled, and I’m very grateful and gracious.
“But my artist of my life is Beyoncé and this album, for me, the ‘Lemonade’ album, was just so monumental.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Derulo wants a public apology from American Airlines after a dispute over baggage fees.
The 27-year-old singer claims the airline “made amends personally” after he and his friends were charged $4,000 to check in 19 items of luggage.
He told PEOPLE: “They’ve made amends personally, but haven’t made amends publicly.
“I’m waiting on a statement that they said they would release. But we’ll see if that happens this week. I really hope so … I really hope it happens because I really would like to just be done with the situation.”
Jason insisted he requested to leave the flight from Miami to Los Angeles earlier this month after he was told a pal, who had agreed to take a later flight with all of their bags following confusion over check-in time, had been charged the huge sum.
And the star was outraged because his “status” has meant he has “never” had to fork out the whopping sum before, as American Airlines allow stars to have three bags free of charge.
He previously explained: “We’d never paid for our bags because of our status – with all of our miles – so we’d never paid for bags. So $4,000 is obviously a huge sum. We were like, ‘No, we’re not paying that. We’ve got to turn the plane around.’
“And that was really upsetting to me because I felt like he was trying to make it seem like we were delinquents, and he was kicking us off the plane, when it was us that asked to get off the plane. I was like, ‘Listen, sir, you’re not going to talk down to me; I’m not your son. Don’t talk to me in that tone of voice.'”
And when the ‘In My Head’ hitmaker got off the plain, he was greeted by 15 police officers, as well as other members of American Airlines crew, and instead of retaliating with the foul language he claimed he was met with, he turned to social media to publicly broadcast the humiliating event – and things quickly changed.
He explained: “As you can imagine, I’m surrounded by 15 police officers, I’m not going to curse back because I know what’s going to happen. So I pick up my phone, and I go live on my Instagram.
“So I go live, and I start to hear whispers happening, and as soon as they find out who I am, everything changes. Every single person becomes somebody else, and all of a sudden, we’re not in trouble anymore.
“I just want everybody to be treated with respect. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. I’m not asking for anything extra, I’m not asking to be taken care of.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Teddy Long will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
The 69-year-old former manager and WWE referee will join the Class of 2017 – which also includes Kurt Angle and The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express.
Speaking to FoxSports.com about the prestigious achievement, he said: “I was really surprised, you know? I had thought about being inducted into the Hall of Fame and I thought ‘well, if they’re going to do that, I’m pretty sure my time will come one day.’ And that’s what did happen. I was real excited, it’s such an honor to be a part of something like this. To go into the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame… man, it’s just great. It don’t get no better than that.
“I just want to thank Vince McMahon and the McMahon family, and the WWE Universe, and all the people that just hung out with me and wanted some more Teddy Long. I’m just excited right now so I’m kind of lost for words.”
And the Smackdown General Manager is grateful to WWE CEO Vince McMahon for helping him to transition to the role of GM.
He said: “Let me tell you something. Vince McMahon, this man’s a genius. He can see stuff that a lot of people can’t see. I found that out during the years that I worked there, because I’ve seen some things that I thought wouldn’t work in my opinion. ‘Why are we doing this?’ And the next thing I know Vince turned that thing around and made it work. And he did the same with me.
“I think what happened is after he found out that I could talk, for the general manager role you need people that can talk and be in that role, to be an authority figure. I don’t know what he seen in me, but whatever he seen I’m glad he saw it. And that’s why I gave him 100 percent every time I walked out of that curtain and walked into the ring. That’s why I was able to stay, I guess, in my position for 10 years.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Rose insists her split with Val Chmerkovskiy was mutual.
The 33-year-old singer was spotted locking lips with her former husband Wiz Khalifa at a Grammys bash over the weekend but insisted that she had not dumped Val for Wiz, and she and the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ professional are still friends.
Amber wrote on Instagram: “Wiz and I are family and we will be family for the rest of our lives for Sebastian. We’ve been through hell and back so a kiss on the lips for a photo and a fun night out is not a big deal for either of us, we are in a great place but we are very much still divorced and not together.
“And to the Awesome person I got to spend the past five months with (Val) and I broke up due to our own personal reasons but we still care about each other tremendously and love each other’s families even more.
“So please understand that we are all human and we have feelings too. Nobody got dumped and nothing over here is malicious it’s just how life works sometimes.”
Amber – who has three-year-old son Sebastian with Wiz – started dating Val last year after being partnered with his brother Maksim on ‘DWTS’.
And following their split, Val, 30, took to Instagram to call her “an amazing woman” and “a loving human”.
He said: “I’m addressing this topic solely in the hopes that y’all will stop spamming my posts. We decided to end our relationship a week ago, and did so with humility and understanding.
“She’s an amazing woman that I feel very lucky to have gotten to know and love. An amazing mother, an awesome friend, a loving human period. Reserved, poised, and loyal. To stress that to the more common folk ‘she loyal af.’ (sic)”
The star then went on to state that the couple lead “very different lives” which caused the split.
He continued: “We both lead very different lives and unfortunately it didn’t work out between us, but what does that even mean? Maybe it worked out perfectly.

OHMYGOSSIP — Katherine Jackson’s nephew has denied accusations he has been abusing her.
The 86-year-old matriarch – the mother of the late Michael Jackson and his famous siblings including Janet, Jermaine and La Toya Jackson – recently obtained a restraining order against “abusive con-man” Trent Lamar Jackson but he insists that he has done nothing wrong.
Trent, 52, says he has not been served with a restraining order and is still living in Katherine’s Calabasas, California, home. He added that he has not heard from the matriarch since she left for London to visit her daughter Janet, who recently welcomed a baby boy Eissa.
Speaking on the ‘Crime Stories With Nancy Grace’ podcast, he said: “My aunt left me paying the bills and taking care of the household when she got over there.
“We haven’t heard from her since she left. And it seems to me that someone is over there putting all these things together, going after me so they can control my aunt, I guess. I don’t know.
“That TRO that they claim I’ve been served with, I’ve never been served with anything. I’m still at the house right now, and we’re all puzzled at why we can’t contact her and talk to her – that’s the problem.
“She has attorneys that make sure her money is being advocated in the right way, and we also have an accountant that also looks at the bank statement, and it’s gonna be strange when you look at those bank statements, you’re gonna really see who’s manipulating her with her money, and it’s not me … I just can’t understand why they’re making these accusations.
“They are keeping her totally in the dark. One thing they don’t understand is that she needs special care. My aunt has polio and she limps and needs strong medication …. She can’t defend herself when she’s around them. She didn’t want to go [to London].
“I had to contact the doctor to get the release for her to even be able to fly, so I wasn’t trying to keep her from family.”
Trent – who is related to Katherine through her husband Joe – also claimed her late son Michael asked him to care for Katherine.
He said: “All I do is pay Mrs. Jackson’s bills. I’ve been paying her bills for 15 years now, and that was my job — to be her driver, her provider, far as taking care of her, making sure she’s taking her medicine, making sure she’s going to the doctor. These are the things Michael told me to do for her, and I’ve been doing these things for her – very well, by the way – and people who know me, know that this is the second time this has happened. They did this to me before.
“If some family members are still unhappy with the situation Michael made, and they feel like if they could control their mom the way that they want it … I would like to know what is it they’re trying to do. If there was a case and they had something against me, it would seem by now I would be put in jail, or at least arrested or something like that.”
