OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Silverman has made a decision to prioritise her career over having a family.
The 46-year-old American comedienne has taken to Twitter to honestly admit that she had to make a choice over whether she wanted to have children or be a successful stand-up and actress as the two things are not compatible.
She tweeted: “As a comic always working & on the road I have had to decide between motherhood & living my fullest life & I chose the latter … So this is just a lil f**k all y’all bc u can’t be a woman w/out sacrifice & that’s the fact jack. I love my comedian brothers that acknowledge this truth. They’re my family & for a lot of us women comic sisters, our only family. (sic)”
Sarah was in an on/off relationship with talk show host Jimmy Kimmel from 2002 to 2009 and is currently dating British actor Michael Sheen.
The ‘Frost/Nixon’ star has a 17-year-old daughter Lily with his ex-partner Kate Beckinsale and the ‘Underworld’ star has struck up a friendship with his new beau Sarah and thinks she’s a good influence on their child.
Kate said: “I’m completely open to any other strong, cool sensitive independent-thinking women who are going to be an influence in my daughter’s life. I am so glad Michael found her.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gillian Anderson wouldn’t be “on the planet” if she didn’t live by nine principles of her new book ‘We: A Manifesto for Women Everywhere’.
The ‘X-Files’ actress has teamed up with her friend Jennifer Nadel on the tome and she admits she owes her life to the nine key principles of the tome, honesty, acceptance, courage, trust, humility, peace, love, joy and kindness.
Asked how the principles have changed her, she told the new issue of Red: “I wouldn’t be alive I think, if it were not for them.
“[I want women to feel] that they are not alone. Getting honest is really important. I think, had I not found tools to help me out of that pain, or to show me that there were people out there who were on a similar journey, the combination of those two things most certainly have contributed to me still being on the planet.”
And Gillian – who has daughter Piper, 22, with ex-husband Clyde Klotz and sons Oscar, 10, and Felix, eight, with former partner Mark Griffiths – thinks women should be supportive of the decisions made by other women because everyone is doing things that make them “valuable and valid” in their own right.
She said: “It should be OK for women to make the decision that they’re deciding to give up work and go and be with their children, and that whatever becomes important to you can be okay to talk about. Any version of oneself is valuable and valid.”
The 48-year-old actress learned a lot about her own self by playing tough detective Stella Gibson in crime drama ‘The Fall’.
She explained: “There was something about playing her that actually kind of awakened me to the notion that [I could be both strong and powerful].
“That I’m masculine, so to speak, in the way that I am in my life, but that I can embrace that co-existing part of myself and it doesn’t mean that I’m conforming to long-standing notions of how women should and shouldn’t be, or dress.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Jackson has the showbiz industry in her “blood”, according to her uncle Jackie.
The 18-year-old actress has followed her late father Michael into the entertainment sphere, appearing on TV and on magazine covers, and Jackie has suggested Paris was always destined for stardom.
Asked about Paris and her brothers Prince and Michael Jr getting into the showbiz industry, the former Jackson 5 star said: “I guess it’s in their blood. They watched us growing up when they were young. They love the business. That’s what they want to do, so go ahead and do it. That’s how we look at it.”
Michael’s children have also been backed to follow their dreams by Jackie’s brother Tito.
However, he urged Paris, Prince and Michael Jr. to exercise “good judgement”.
He told ‘Good Morning Britain’: “There’s a lot of talent in the family. We have a lot of singers and actors and actresses so you can’t stop a person’s dreams.
“They see their aunts and uncles doing what they do – usually we try and be like our parents and siblings and that’s what they do.
“I just tell them to keep their head on straight and use good judgement. That’s the important thing.”
This comes shortly after Paris revealed her father still inspires “all” she does.
The teenage star – who lost the ‘Beat It’ hitmaker back in 2009 – explained that “99 percent of her inspiration” comes from the record-breaking singer as he has “always been her world”.
She said: “All of my inspiration. I would say 99 percent of my inspiration comes from him, because he has always been my world. He is my roots.”
The actress also revealed she was especially inspired by Michael’s strength of character.
Asked what one of her dad’s qualities she’d like to have, Paris said: “Definitely his strength. He was the strongest person I know and tried to do everything with a much love and kindness as possible.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Samuel L. Jackson only attended the Oscars to get a free goody basket.
The 68-year-old actor explained that one of the biggest attractions of attending the ceremony was collecting the famed free gifts, but Jackson was frustrated to find they are no longer handed out to presenters.
The ‘Pulp Fiction’ star – who was among the presenters at the annual awards bash in Los Angeles on Sunday (26.02.17) – said: “You always go for the goody basket.
“They stopped giving them to presenters. They just give them to people who are nominated. So, I’m done with that. It’s all about the basket.”
Jackson also rubbished the notion he shouldn’t accept free gifts simply because he’s a well-paid actor.
He told talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres: “Everybody likes free stuff. What’s the best thing about being famous? Free stuff.”
Jackson recalled one particular Oscars ceremony at which Jack Nicholson gave his free gifts away.
He shared: “Years ago, it used to be (worth) a lot of money.
“The first time I went, I remember going to rehearsal and they’d give you your basket at rehearsal. Jack Nicholson was nominated that year and he came out with his basket and actually gave it to someone in the crowd that was in the back waiting. There was lots of great stuff in there.”
Meanwhile, Jackson has revealed his determination to reclaim his crown as the highest-grossing actor of all time.
Jackson lost the title to Harrison Ford in early 2016 – but he is intent on rising to the top once again over the coming months.
He said: “Harrison is still ahead of me because of [‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’] last year.
“I think my assistant told me I was maybe 150 million or so behind him, but I got a chance to grab him with either this movie ‘[Kong: Skull Island’] or [‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’] is doing really well in China, so I might catch him soon.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Christine Lampard is keen to start a family with her husband Frank following his recent retirement.
The 38-year-old TV presenter and the former England soccer star have been married since 2015 and after Frank called time on his playing career earlier this month, their attention is now fully focused on having children.
She shared: “Frank has retired, so we are getting used to a new routine, so we will see what happens.”
However, the brunette beauty admitted to being “surprised” by the level of interest in her relationship with Frank, who already has an 11-year-old daughter called Luna and a nine-year-old daughter called Isla with his ex-wife Elen Rivas.
Christine said: “I am surprised anyone cares, the only people I would think it matters to are Frank and me. And because we have the girls as well, we have a lot of kiddie stuff in our lives, but we will have to wait and see.
“We have had a great time since we got married, without sounding like a lovestruck teenager. It has flown by, I can’t actually believe we were celebrating our first anniversary in December.”
Meanwhile, Christine also admitted Frank’s lifestyle has changed markedly in the weeks following his retirement from soccer.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Now he has retired, we have got more time to do things together, we have weekends together and even Saturdays, which we have never had since I have known him. He is definitely more relaxed. All the stress of football every week has gone.

The 44-year-old singer – who caused a frenzy earlier this month after he posted a bare-chested snap of himself on Instagram – said that although he typically trains wearing traditional gym gear, he occasionally works out while completely naked.
He shared: “I posted what some took to be a naked pic from the gym. I do wear clothes in the gym, I promise! Well, maybe not always.”
The father-of-four – who was once known for his chiselled physique – also opened up on his grooming habits.
He told new! magazine: “I agree with grooming yourself to a point but, how do I put this … Rather than go the whole hog down under, just look after yourself. You know, like what you do to your hedges in the garden.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Stone considers the Oscars fiasco to be one of the “most horrible moments” of her life.
The flame-haired beauty’s movie ‘La La Land’ was mistakenly named the winner of the Best Picture gong by Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway at the annual awards bash in Los Angeles on Sunday (26.02.17) – but officials soon realised their error and the award was instead handed to ‘Moonlight’.
Emma, 28 – who was named Best Actress for her lead role in ‘La La Land’ – told the Daily Mail newspaper the embarrassing gaffe was: “One of the most horrible moments of my life. Wow! It was just so horrible.”
On the other hand, Jimmy Kimmel – who presented the awards ceremony at the Dolby Theatre – has admitted he was “trying really hard not to laugh” during the memorably awkward incident.
The TV star was sitting in the audience next to his fake rival Matt Damon when the ‘La La Land’ team got on stage to accept the Best Picture gong when his friend heard a stage manager say the wrong name had been announced.
Jimmy sat back in his seat and waited for the show’s host to deal with the situation – before remembering it was his job.
He said: “[It] is unusual, but you figure, ‘Well, the host will go onstage and clear this up.’ And then I remembered, ‘Oh! I’m the host!’
“… Now so we have the producers of two movies on stage. Who the hell even knows who is who from which movie?

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeff Goldblum and his wife Emilie Livingston are expecting a baby boy.
The 64-year-old actor and his 34-year-old partner, who have 19-month-old Charlie together, announced earlier this year that they are expanding their brood, and he has now revealed the family will welcome a second son into the world in April.
After ‘Entertainment Tonight’ reporter Carly Steele guessed they were having a boy, Jeff confirmed: “You’re amazing. You’re very, very gifted. I’m getting chills. Yes.”
The brunette beauty announced the news she was pregnant on social media with a throwback picture of herself.
She captioned the Instagram post: “Round and round we go! I’m 15 weeks pregnant in this shot and I’m SO excited for our newest addition to the Goldblum family, arriving early April. #growingfamily and #love (sic).”
However, Emilie has since made her photo-sharing site private.
The couple tied the knot in November 2014 in front of their family and friends at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California.
Meanwhile, the ‘Jurassic Park’ actor has previously admitted he had never “seriously” considered marriage or having children until he met Emilie, but he is in a “different place now” where he is “enthusiastic” about increasing his family.
Speaking previously, he said: “I never seriously considered it until now. I’m at a different place now. I was enthusiastic to marry Emilie and try to have a baby.”
And the star has revealed their first child arrived whilst he was filming ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ and , coincidentally, on the day of the American federal holiday.

The 44-year-old rapper – whose full name is Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques – has taken to Instagram to share the first photo of himself and wife Jodi Stewart with their newborn son Levi Blaze Henriques.

The 49-year-old star had been sitting in the audience next to his fake foe Matt Damon when the ‘La La Land’ team got on stage to accept the Best Picture Academy Award on Sunday (26.02.17) when his pal heard a stage manager say the wrong name had been called.
Jimmy sat back and waited for the evening’s host to intervene – before remembering it was his job, so he stood on stage at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre “like an idiot” while the honour was re-presented to ‘Moonlight’.
He said: “[It] is unusual, but you figure, ‘Well, the host will go onstage and clear this up.’ And then I remembered, ‘Oh! I’m the host!’
“…Now so we have the producers of two movies on stage. Who the hell even knows who is who from which movie?
“I’m standing there [on stage] like an idiot, feeling bad for these guys, but also trying really hard not to laugh, to be honest.”
As he walked off stage as the show came to a close, Jimmy was surprised to hear people speculating as to whether the incident was a prank he’d planned.
But he insisted: “If I had pulled a prank in that situation, I wouldn’t have just had the wrong winner’s name in the envelope.
“When they opened it, there would have been, like, a Bed Bath and Beyond coupon inside.”
And the ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ host praised the graciousness of the ‘La La Land’ producers.
He quipped during his talk show on Monday (27.02.17): “They handled it well. It was a very amicable custody arrangement. They didn’t ask for visitation or anything.”
Jimmy – who has kids Kevin and Katherine with first wife Gina Maddy and daughter Jane, two, with pregnant wife Molly McNearney – also revealed the shocking mix-up wasn’t the worst thing that had happened on Sunday as there was panic a bomb had been detonated during rehearsals when two structures on the stage collapsed.
He said: “During our rehearsal the day of the show, about halfway through at about noon yesterday, a huge part of the set collapsed.
“I stepped off stage and about a minute later, [two giant structures] both came crashing down. It scared the crap out of everybody. A lot of people thought a bomb went off. My wife shoved our daughter under a table to protect her. Somehow – even though we had like five cameras going – no one got this on video.
“So the envelope thing was a distant second in the disaster category.
“Not too many people know this, but the Dolby Theatre was built on an ancient Indian burial ground.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Johansson was “scolded” by Samuel L. Jackson at the Oscars for not sending him pictures of her two-year-old daughter.
The 32-year-old actress bumped into her ‘Avengers’ co-star at the annual awards bash in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (26.02.17) – but was given a telling off by her friend for falling to keep him informed about the progress of little Rose.
Scarlett said while giggling: “I was excited to see Sam Jackson, but then he scolded me for not sending him enough pictures of my kid.”
And Scarlett, who stars as the Black Widow in the Marvel movies, admitted to being a little flustered by Jackson’s greeting.
She told E! News: “I was like, ‘Honestly, here on the red carpet?’ He was like, ‘Where’s my picture?'”
The Hollywood actress also confessed she can’t remember what Jackson bought for Rose when she was born – which she predicted would also upset the ‘Pulp Fiction’ star.
Asked about Jackson’s baby gift, Scarlett said: “Oh, gosh! What did he get the baby? Don’t ask me. If I don’t remember, he’s going to get angry again. You know, you want Sam on your side!”
Meanwhile, Scarlett claimed earlier this month that monogamy is “unnatural”.
The blonde beauty – who was married to Ryan Reynolds between 2008 and 2011 and is also thought to have separated from her second husband Romain Dauriac – said it is “a lot of work” to be in a relationship with just one person.
She explained: “With every gain there’s a loss, right? So that’s a loss. You have to choose a path. I think the idea of marriage is very romantic; it’s a beautiful idea, and the practice of it can be a very beautiful thing. I don’t think it’s natural to be a monogamous person. I might be skewered for that, but I think it’s work. It’s a lot of work.
“And the fact that it is such work for so many people – for everyone – the fact of that proves that it is not a natural thing. It’s something I have a lot of respect for and have participated in, but I think it definitely goes against some instinct to look beyond.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Damon has hit back at Jimmy Kimmel by jokingly blaming him for the Oscars envelope mix-up.
The talk show host repeatedly mocked the ‘Martian’ star during the ceremony at Los Angeles Dolby Theatre on Sunday (26.02.17) and Matt has continued their long-running fake feud by saying it was his fault that ‘La La Land’ was wrongly announced as Best Picture when it was in fact ‘Moonlight’.
The 46-year-old actor joked to ‘Entertainment Tonight’ after the ceremony: “I was the one person who wasn’t surprised that it all got screwed up. That’s what they get for hiring Jimmy. You know, they got what they paid for.”
Jimmy, 49, couldn’t resist taking shots at his weight, career choices and lack of success during his stint at the helm of the prestigious ceremony.
In his opening monologue, he said: “Tonight, in spirit of healing and bringing people together, I would like to bury the hatchet with someone I’ve had issues with. I would. Matt Damon.
“I’ve known Matt for a long time now. I’ve known Matt so long, when I first met Matt, I was the fat one, OK? It’s true. And we’ve had problems. He’s a selfish person.
“Those of you who have worked with him know this. But Matt did something very unselfish and I want to commend him for it.”
He then explained how Matt “allowed” Casey Affleck to star in ‘Manchester by the Sea’ – a role which later in the evening won him the Best Actor award – while he took on a part in ‘The Great Wall’ instead.
He mocked: “He handed an Oscar-calibre role over to his friend and made a Chinese pony tail movie instead.
“And that movie went on to lose $80 million. Smooth move, dumb ass. See? It’s so easy to reach out and heal.”
Later in the show, Jimmy brought out a bus of tourist and introduced them to some of the biggest stars in the room – and while introducing one to Casey, advised him to “ignore the jerk” behind, who turned out to be Matt.
And the jibes didn’t stop there, as the presenter looked back at his foe’s role in ‘We Bought a Zoo’ and observed: “He has almost no discernible talent. But he works.”
The ‘Manchester by the Sea’ producer didn’t even get chance to get his revenge as when he and their mutual pal Ben Affleck took to the stage to present an award, music began playing, putting Matt off every time he tried to speak.
Jimmy joked: “Wrap it up! We want to go home!”
Before the night was out, Jimmy took one final dig at his friend as he introduced Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway, who were presenting Best Picture.
He quipped: “And now, my favourite part of the night is here. A chance to see Matt Damon lose an Academy Award.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kourtney Kardashian’s four-year-old daughter Penelope has had her lip pierced.
The 37-year-old beauty revealed her daughter’s piercing via Instagram, posting a snap of her snuggling up with Penelope, while Kourtney also confirmed the lip ring was a gift from her younger sister Kim Kardashian West.
She captioned the eye-catching photo: “Our Oscar Sunday. Yes, that’s a lip ring. Thanks @kimkardashian. (sic)”
In the snap, Kourtney – who also shares Mason, seven, and Reign, two, with her ex-partner Scott Disick – is seen wearing a white bathrobe as her daughter rests on her left shoulder.
Meanwhile, rumours have suggested Kourtney and Scott, 33, could be on the cusp of rekindling their turbulent romance.
However, a source recently claimed Kourtney is happily single for the time being.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star is instead directing all of her energy towards her children, rather than her romantic life.
An insider explained: “Kourtney and Scott are not back together or even at the point of trying to make things work. Kourtney is happy being a parent right now and that is her number one interest right now.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kirsten Dunst has set a “time frame” for her forthcoming nuptials to beau Jesse Plemons.
The 34-year-old actress and her 28-year-old ‘Fargo’ co-star announced they were engaged in January and while they are keeping tight-lipped about the actual date they’ve set, they have an idea of when they’d like to tie the knot.
Asked if they have a date in mind, she told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “We have a time frame, but that’s private!”
Quizzed on how she knew he was the one, she added: “I’m happy. You just do. You do!”
The couple were first spotted kissing last May as they enjoyed a day out in Studio City, California just a month after Kirsten split from her ‘On The Road’ co-star Garrett Hedlund after four years of dating.
And Kirsten had previously opened up about her ideal wedding and her dream of starting a family.
She said: “I am someone who wants to get married. If it happens in my mid-to-late 30s, it’s going to be intimate. Court house, dinner party and DJ with friends and family. I’ll treat it like it would be my 40th birthday.”
Asked if she wants children, she added: “Two for sure.”
When Kirsten split from Garrett it was a big shock for her fans as she previously revealed her relationship with the actor was much healthier than her previous romances as they were equally comfortable when they spent time together or apart.

The 28-year-old actress attended the Vanity Fair party following the Oscars on Sunday night (26.02.17) and she was spotted scoffing sweet treats at the star-studded bash.
But the blonde beauty – who gave birth to a daughter in November 2015 – joked to People magazine that it wasn’t “feeding the baby nourishment”.
Tamsin and Josh, 38, met on the set of ‘The Lovers’ in 2011 and they started dating the next year.
And Josh – who dated the likes of Kirsten Dunst and Scarlett Johansson before he started seeing Tamsin – previously admitted that becoming a father has changed his outlook on life.
Speaking in 2016, the ‘Penny Dreadful’ actor explained: “It changes everything, what can you say?
“The rubber finally meets the road and everything you have done beforehand is just preamble. You’re actually living your life for the first time because everything matters a bit more doesn’t it?”
Josh admitted that becoming a dad has caused him to focus less on himself.
The Hollywood hunk said: “There’s no time for naval-gazing anymore.
“For me it’s not just about who I’m potentially working with, I just want to take that opportunity and I want to live as much of a full life as I can because I’m taking care of my daughter and thinking about her.”
Despite this, the actor also conceded becoming a parent can initially be a frightening experience.
Josh shared: “Your ego melts away when you have a new kid. Your heart kind of leaves your body and you give it permission to walk around with someone else for a while.
“It’s really terrifying but it’s beautiful. I love it more than anything. I wish I would have started it earlier. But I’m so glad that she is the one I’m raising.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen teased John Legend about not winning an Oscar at this year’s ceremony.
The ‘All of Me’ hitmaker served as producer on ‘La La Land’, which missed out on the Best Picture gong at this year’s event despite it being mistakenly called as the winner due to an envelope mix up, and whilst John is the previous recipient of an Academy Award, Chrissy was quick to point out he missed out this time.
Uploading a video to her Twitter account, Chrissy said: “Hi guys. I’m here joined by Oscar winner John Legend – not this year.”
And in another video posted by John on social media, the couple can be seen cruising past a Hollywood tour bus, where John shouts out hello to the passengers.
Chrissy – who has 10-month-old daughter Luna with John – can then be heard shouting: “It’s John Legend! He won an Oscar – not this year though.”
It comes after the 31-year-old model was nicknamed the “queen of the internet” when footage emerged of her appearing to be asleep on John’s shoulder at the Oscars.
When the camera panned to the audience during Emma Stone and Casey Affleck’s acceptance speeches for Best Actress and Best Actor in a Leading Role respectively, Chrissy’s eyes were shut and she was leaning on her husband.
Appearing to reference the footage, Chrissy wrote to her 4.4 million followers on Twitter: “just woke up what happened (sic)”
Chrissy and John regularly document their relationship on social media, leading to people telling them they are “relationship goals” but Chrissy thinks “it’s kind of silly” that people feel that way because everyone needs to “have high standards of relationships goals.”
She said: “I do think it’s kind of silly. I love being that way, because I love people looking up to somebody who has a relationship that’s enviable, of course. But also, the things they say it for are so stupid, like, we’ll be eating a burrito and someone will be like, ‘Relationship goals!’ and I’m like, ‘Go get a burrito? Just eat a burrito!’
“We should definitely have higher standards of relationship goals, but at the same time we’re very happy to be people’s relationship goals.”
