OHMYGOSSIP — Meg Ryan “hates” John Mellencamp “to death,” according to the rocker.
The ‘Sleepless in Seattle’ actress dated the 65-year-old musician for three years before they called it day in 2015 and John – who moved on with model Christie Brinkely after their split – says she wants nothing to do with him.
John dished: “Oh, women hate me, I loved Meg Ryan. She hates me to death.
“She just doesn’t want anything to do with me. And I can’t blame her.”
John admitted that Meg – who is currently single but was previously married to Dennis Quaid and dated Russell Crowe and has 23-year-old son Jack with her ex-husband, and adopted daughter Daisy, 11 – was turned off by his moodiness and childlike fits but ultimately they lived apart too much.
When asked “why” the 55-year-old actress would hate him, he told The Howard Stern Show: “I think it’s because I’m a child. I throw fits, I gripe, I complain. I’m moody. Every bad thing that a fella can be, that’s me.
“She lives in New York and he resides in Indiana. It was the long distance that ultimately was the cause.”
However, the ‘Hurts So Good’ hitmaker – who was previously married to Elaine Irwin, Victoria Granucci and Priscilla Mellencamp – insisted Meg was “fantastic” and his favourite out of all of his exes.
He added: “I was married to Elaine for 20 years. Elaine and I are still good friends… Other than Elaine, of all the girls, [Meg] was fantastic.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Cole gushed about his baby son in a heartfelt post to mark his first birthday on Tuesday (28.02.17).
The 36-year-old soccer star – who is the ex-husband of singer Cheryl – took to Twitter to share with his 2.5 million how thankful he is to have a child that “makes his heart melt” and how being a parent “exceeds” having fortune and nice things.
Ashley – who shares his son, whose name is unknown, with Italian model Sharon Canu – wrote on the micro-blogging site: “Today is the 28th of February. It’s a day I cherish and will never forget for the rest of my life.
“I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have most things I’ve wanted in life: Cars, houses, watches, clothes.
“Coming from East London with not a lot growing up, and a mum looking after two boys alone, life wasn’t easy.
“So of course it’s easy to lose your way in life sometimes – to forget about the things that are most important.
“But this morning I woke up to something that exceeds anything I’ve ever had before; a smile that never goes away.

The ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ hitmaker, 33, had refused to publicly confirm the news she is set to welcome a little baby girl or boy into the world with her boyfriend, but revealed all as she posed in a skintight black dress for a campaign for L’Oreal.

OHMYGOSSIP — Usher is “proud” of the man Justin Bieber has become.
The ‘Sorry’ hitmaker celebrated his 23rd birthday on Wednesday (01.03.17) and his long-time mentor has taken to Twitter to pay tribute to Justin, admitting he’s thrilled by how the chart-topping star has matured in recent years.
Usher wrote: “Happy Birthday @JustinBieber !! I’m proud of the man you’ve become. #JB23 (sic)”
The 38-year-old singer-songwriter’s sentiments were echoed by Justin’s manager Scooter Braun, who has played a central role in his success.
Scooter, who also manages Ariana Grande, wrote on Twitter: “To another 23 years…keep shining your light onto the world . #jb23 #mybrother happy birthday @justinbieber (sic)”
Other big-name stars who sent their best wishes to Justin included DJ Khaled, Akon and LL Cool J.

Ed admitted the celebrity duo had a “weird” night out where they sang one another’s biggest hits before coming together for a rendition of ‘Love Yourself’, Justin’s 2015 single which was written by the ‘Castle On The Hill’ hitmaker.
Ed recently shared: “I quite like that that song is just having its own life somewhere.

OHMYGOSSIP — Cher has struggled to find “Mr. Cher” because people are “frightened” of being her partner.
The 70-year-old singer – who has children Chaz, 47, with the late Sonny Bono and Elijah, 40, with her previous partner Gregg Allman – believes she needs “a certain kind of guy” to settle down with, although a lot of potential suitors are scared of being her beau.
Speaking to ET Online about her love life, the brunette beauty said: “It takes kind of a special person. There are few people. It kind of cuts the herd down, because people are a little bit frightened about being Mr. Cher. It takes a certain kind of guy.”
And the ‘I Got You Babe’ hitmaker isn’t bothered by her age because she knows there is nothing she can do to stop herself getting older.
She explained: “[My mom] says if you don’t pay attention to age, it won’t pay attention to you, but I think that’s the dumbest thing I ever heard. But there’s not much you can do about it. You just do your best.”
And the vocalist shows no signs of slowing down any time soon as she hasn’t had to alter the key on her tracks as she can still hit the high notes, although she has credited great genes for her musical talent and longevity in the industry.

OHMYGOSSIP — Katherine Jackson is so afraid of her nephew-in-law Trent Lamar Jackson she is refusing to return home to Los Angeles.
The 86-year-old matriarch – who is the mother of the late Michael Jackson – has told a court she is currently “under a doctor’s care” in London, England, “in part because of the stress this situation with Trent is causing me”.
In February, Katherine was granted a temporary restraining order against Trent after alleging he had abused her and that he had neglected her health.
She said in her filing to the court: “I believe he has put cameras and bugs in my home, so the only place I can try and have a private conversation is in my bathroom.”
Katherine also fears Trent has copied the key to her bedroom door, meaning she has started getting dressed in her closet because she fears he will walk in on her unexpectedly, according to TMZ.
Her filing explained: “I used to be very social with my friends, like playing Scrabble, walking around in the park, sharing meals, but Trent has given them various reasons why I am not available.”
Trent, 52, has been living in the guest house of Katherine’s Calabasas, California, home after previously serving as her personal driver for a number of years.
However, their relationship has soured in recent times, with Katherine accusing him of bullying her and monitoring her behaviour.
Meanwhile, Trent – who is the son of Joe Jackson’s half-brother – has tried to have the temporary restraining order lifted, with his lawyer insisting he is not a threat to Katherine.
Under the restraining order, Trent is required to stay in the guest house and is barred from coming within 100 yards of Katherine.
But the judge denied his request on Wednesday (01.03.17) and ordered another court hearing on March 23.

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kardashian has “never” felt love as great as he does towards his daughter Dream.
The 29-year-old television personality has gushed about his three-month-old child – who he has with Blac Chyna – in a sweet heartfelt goodbye post on social media, where he admitted he is the most happiest he has “ever” been in his life when he is around the tiny tot, and he is sad he has to leave her because he will miss her “so much”.
Alongside a picture of the Arthur George sock designer with Dream, which was shared on his Instagram account, he wrote: “Saying bye to my beautiful baby girl ….. she is smiling at me. U see how she looking at her daddy I literally can’t get enough of this girl,,, I never felt a love or happiness like this ever in my life and she makes me so happy ,,,about to miss her so much Love You baby Dream (sic).”
And the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star has touched the hearts of everyone, including his older sister Kourtney Kardashian.

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Maggie Smith doesn’t think she’d make it in the film industry if she joined it now.
The ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ star praised the young women who join the film industry nowadays for being so “brave” about having to “strip off every second”.
Appearing with Dame Judi Dench at a fundraising talk for the Tricycle Theatre in north London, she said: “I think they are so brave, the young actresses of today. They seem to have to strip off every second. I can’t imagine how they cope with it today, I really don’t. They are required to do the most extraordinary things.
“If I was asked to start now, I just don’t think I could, seriously. It’s difficult to imagine myself at that age because girls are starting even younger than how young I was [when I started]. I think it’s very, very, very hard now.”
Meanwhile, the 82-year-old actress previously admitted she still finds acting “scary”.
She said: “Oh, I know, I keep hearing that. Obviously at some times I have been like that – the awful thing is, I’m sort of very aware when I’m being difficult but I’m usually … so scared … And that’s shaming, at the age one is.
“Because every time I start anything, I think, ‘This time I’m going to be like Jude [Dench], and it will all be lovely, it will be merry and bright, the Quaker will come out in me.’ But it never works. Jude has a wonderful calm, it’s very enviable. I think it would be hairy if she let fly, but I’ve never seen that.”
However, Maggie doesn’t want to “frighten” people by being nicer.

The ‘Like A Virgin’ hitmaker is a big source of inspiration for the ‘Break Free’ singer, who praised the pop star for her “bravery and strength”.
She said: “I have the utmost respect for that woman. I love her with every ounce of my being, and not just because I’m obsessed with her entire discography.
“I’m so inspired by her bravery and her strength. I can look at her and not be scared to be strong.”
And the 23-year-old singer went on to slam those who call women a “b***h or a diva” for being strong.
She added to the April issue of Cosmopolitan magazine: “A lot of times, women are labelled as a b***h or a diva for having a vision and being strong and using their voice, and it’s just not the case. You can be strong and be friendly. [We] don’t have to be just one thing.”
It comes after Ariana admitted she was left feeling “sick and objectified” after an encounter with a male fan.

OHMYGOSSIP — Gavin Rossdale “never thought” he would get divorced.
The Bush frontman went his separate ways from his wife Gwen Stefani last year and whilst their divorce brought him “a lot of pain and sadness”, he feels it has given his life a new perspective too.
He said: “We’re all products of nuclear families. My parents have been married three times each. I’m just a junior. I never thought I would get divorced. But it just happens. All these life things …
“Who knew that was possible? There’s been a lot of pain and sadness. It really teaches you perspective on life. It’s really health, happiness and safety. After that, I don’t know what there is other than that.”
And the 51-year-old singer hasn’t completely ruled out getting married again but is focused on his career and being a father to sons Kingston, 10, Zuma, eight, and Apollo, three.
He added: “I’m not sure I’ll ever go at it [marriage] again. I’m trying to be a really good dad and make good records and shoot good TV shows.”
And Gavin says his new album is a signal of the “rebirth, relaunch and restart” following his divorce.
Of his new LP, he told Us Weekly magazine: “It’s the rebirth, the relaunch and reset. It’s a restart.

OHMYGOSSIP — Adele banned fireworks from her tour after “a bit of debri” hit her son in the eye.
The ‘Someone Like You’ hitmaker decided to pull the pyrotechnics from her show after her four-year-old son Angelo – who she has with her husband Simon Konecki – got upset after something hit his eye during rehearsals.
She told the crowd at her concert at the Domain Stadium in Perth, Australia: “We’ve been rehearsing here and up until last night we had fireworks for you.
“And obviously everyone likes a fireworks display. However, my son was watching in the crowd … there wasn’t much of a crowd, there was like five people.
“A bit of debris – it wasn’t big – but a bit of s**t went in his eye and he was very upset, so I got rid of the fireworks.”
However, the 28-year-old songstress later held a poll with the crowd, who voted for the fireworks to return.
When she said “let’s get a cheer for fireworks if you want them,” she was greeted by loud cheer and applause but there was hardly any noise when she said “let’s get a ‘boo’ if you don’t want s**t in your eyes”.
After conducting the informal poll, she told the audience: “Alright, we’ll do it next time.”
It is thought the fireworks would have been part of the finale of Adele’s smash hit track ‘Set Fire To The Rain’.
Meanwhile, Adele – who is currently in the midst of a world tour – previously opened up about raising her son, revealing she is teaching him to “respect women” by taking him with her everywhere so he can see how powerful women can be.
She said: “I’m raising him to respect women. He knows I’m a powerful force. He feels it at home, let alone when he comes to work with me. And he comes everywhere with me anyway!”

OHMYGOSSIP — The two auditors who mixed up the Oscars results will not return for the ceremony next year.
Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs has confirmed Brian Cullinan and Martha Ruiz – who were tasked with handing over the correct envelopes to the presenters at the awards ceremony – will not be in charge of it when the 90th Academy Awards take place next year.
Isaacs also refused to confirm or deny if the Academy would continue using PricewaterhouseCoopers – who have worked alongside the Academy for over 80 years – and said their working relationship was under review.
The incident happened when Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were handed the wrong envelope by Cullinan. Instead of the Best Picture envelope, they were given the Best Actress in a Leading Role card, leading to the mix up, which caused chaos onstage as bosses tried to rectify the issue and announce ‘Moonlight’ were the actual winners of the award rather than ‘La La Land’.
It is believed Cullinan handed over the wrong envelope after getting distracted backstage.
In a statement, accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) said: “We sincerely apologise to ‘Moonlight’, ‘La La Land’, Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, and Oscar viewers for the error that was made during the award announcement for Best Picture.
“The presenters had mistakenly been given the wrong category envelope and when discovered, was immediately corrected. We are currently investigating how this could have happened, and deeply regret that this occurred. We appreciate the grace with which the nominees, the Academy, ABC, and Jimmy Kimmel handled the situation.”
However, the nominees were forgiving of what happened.
‘Moonlight’ director Barry Jenkins called the whole thing “messy but kind of gorgeous”.
He said: “It’s messy, but it’s kind of gorgeous. You have these two groups of people who came together for a second. There’s a picture with me hugging Jordan [Horowitz, a producer of ‘La La Land’], and Adele [Romanski, producer of ‘Moonlight’] has her arm on his shoulder. That’s what the moment was.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Catherine Zeta-Jones’ children want to become actors.
The ‘Mask of Zorro’ star’s kids – Dylan, 16, and Carys, 13, who she has with her husband Michael Douglas – are keen to follow in their parent’s footsteps.
Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she said: “You know, I know it’s going to be hard for them because they’ve got their grandfather, Kirk [Douglas], they’ve got me, they have Michael. But they so inherently love it and they’re good! They go to summer camp every year – they do like three musicals and straight plays – and they love it.
“I’ve had a wonderful life in this business, so if they want to do it, they know the hardships and the percentages of who makes it and who doesn’t. I just think that they’ve got the talent and I know that they have the drive.”
It comes after Catherine described herself as a “dance mom”.
She said: “I have a confession to make … As I tell the truth for the first time in public, I am a dance mom. And I’m proud of it! And I’m proud to share it with you.
“And I love being a dance mom. I have to say I see it first-hand as my daughter partakes in the NYC Dance Alliance workshops … and I love to watch those kids, and I love to see what they get, the nurturing, the fantastic amount of talented teachers.”
And Catherine also admitted she was incredibly “nervous” ahead of her daughter’s performance.
She added: “Mommy gets nervous for her. That’s the way it goes these days: I get really nervous and she breezes through it. The way that my mom used to do for me … it all comes around …
“It feels great, because I love the dancer’s life. It’s been so good to me, and she’s really passionate about it … It’s healthy competition and it really is the best tuition, the best training, coupled with what it is to have team spirit and work together and be kind to people.”

The ‘Locked Out Of Heaven’ hitmaker would turn down a “sweet cheque” if he doesn’t feel right about the collaboration.
He said: “I just don’t want to feel gross. It’s as simple as that. I don’t want to feel gross, I don’t want to regret any decisions. Even if I turn down a sweet cheque because I don’t want to be on that billboard, hawking some s**t to the world – I just don’t need to do that. Because you get one shot at this.
“I’m not a model. I’m not an ice skater. I’m not a chef. I’m here to do music. And I want to be able to look back and say, ‘Yeah, I did it the way I wanted to do it.’ Whether it triumphs or fails, I can live with that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s relationship was “never really supposed to be serious”.
The ‘Dark Horse’ hitmaker and the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star confirmed they had called time on their romance on Wednesday (01.03.17) but a source has claimed the pair’s relationship was always about having “fun” rather than settling down.
A source said: “It was never really supposed to be serious between them. When it first started, she was basically like, ‘This will be fun for now.'”
Whilst an insider close to Orlando added: “[He was] happy and content [but] was not in the mindset to settle down.”
And the pair are said to have split up after the relationship because “more and more work”.
The source shared: “It just became more and more work to make it work. Because this wasn’t something permanent, it just became time to take a break.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Barry Jenkins says the Best Picture mix-up at the Oscars was “messy but kind of gorgeous”.
The ‘Moonlight’ director was left speechless when his movie was announced as the rightful winner of the prestigious award at the ceremony on Sunday after it was incorrectly announced that ‘La La Land’ had taken home the top prize.
He said: “It’s messy, but it’s kind of gorgeous. You have these two groups of people who came together for a second. There’s a picture with me hugging Jordan [Horowitz, a producer of ‘La La Land’], and Adele [Romanski, producer of ‘Moonlight’] has her arm on his shoulder. That’s what the moment was.”
And ‘La La Land’ director Damien Chazelle – who took home the Best Director gong at the ceremony – thought it was all some kind of “prank” at first.
He added: “Everything looked so energized, I at first thought there was some kind of prank going on.”
The 32-year-old filmmaker enjoyed having both casts and crew onstage at the same time as he wanted to “explode the myth” that the pair have a long-running feud.
Damien shared: “That’s something Barry and I have talked about. It’s weird to be friendly with someone but to feel like there’s a mano-a-mano thing, which I guess is the nature of the Oscars. So it was nice to explode that myth a little bit on a big stage.”
Meanwhile, Barry admits he had prepared a speech if ‘Moonlight’ was named the winner but says winning was a “dream he never allowed himself to have”.
He told Variety magazine: “I had something that I had prepared to say, and that thing went completely out the window. I’ve been saying that [co-writer] Tarell [Alvin McCraney] and I are that kid in the film, and that kid does not grow up to make a piece of art that gets eight Academy Award nominations.
“It’s a dream I never allowed myself to have. When we were sitting there, and that dream of winning didn’t come true, I took it off the table. But then I had to very quickly get back into that place. And my first thought was to get to the stage to give Jordan a hug as quickly as possible.”

The ‘Equals’ star tries to stay off sites like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram as much as possible as she worries it would make her “validate something very superficial in herself”.

She added to V magazine’s Spring issue: “I know that it seems like just a couple weeks at a time or whatever, but between Cannes and the New York Film Festival, it seems like I need to force myself to be like, ‘OK no, stop being external. Enough of the output.’ Sometimes, you need to – this sounds so cliché – meditate on replenishing the well.”
It comes after Kristen admitted she felt “uncomfortable” having her personal life made public as a teen.
She said: “It was something I really invested in. It mattered to so many people. Something personal became the most personal thing, which is awesome because to share this is great, but at the same time I was 17 or 18 when it all kind of went down and that’s the most uncomfortable, terrible, weird … You’re 17-years-old and like ahh. But at the same time, it was good. It kind of forced me to stand at attention in this way.”
And Kristen feels she has been more open about her personal life as of late, something which she sees as “beneficial” as it means she can explain herself.
She added: “I think it takes a minute to sort of acclimate to communicating with so many people at one time, with like, ‘The masses,’ you know.
“I think it’s only beneficial, like … for me to have so many pathways open, it ends up kind of not allowing people to misconstrue you.”
