Giovanna and Tom Fletcher want more kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Giovanna and Tom Fletcher want to have more children.
The 32-year-old novelist and TV presenter has sons Buzz, three and 12-month-old Buddy with her 31-year-old McFly singer husband, and despite suffering a devastating miscarriage before she fell pregnant with Buzz, the couple are open to adding to their brood in the future.
Giovanna said: “We’ve discussed having more kids but not in the near future.
“It depends on what happens and if my body allows it.
“But I’ve always been maternal and I love being a mum. It’s a learning curve though. I feel like being a mum is one long wing-it session.”
If Tom and Giovanna do have another baby, they’ll follow the tradition they set with their other kids and announce the news via a quirky video.
She said: “We love making the videos. And I wouldn’t want our third child to feel left out so we’ll have to think of something decent.”
The vlogger adores watching her sons together.
She said: “The boys are so sweet together, it melts my heart watching them.
“I remember someone saying to me, ‘You think you love your child but wait until you have another. Seeing them together is just a whole other thing.’ She was right, it’s just amazing.”
Giovanna thinks Tom is a “brilliant” dad and loves nothing more than being with her family.
She told Closer magazine: “We met as kids and now we have kids, which is funny.
“He’s a brilliant dad – he’s so playful and creative with them.
“We love spending time as a family and a night on the sofa with a glass of wine. For us, that’s just as good as a night out and a posh meal.”

Adele: I 'don't f***ing care' what people think of my Grammys dress

OHMYGOSSIP — Adele doesn’t “f***ing care” what people think of her Grammys dress.
The 28-year-old singer – picked up an impressive five gongs at the glitzy award ceremony last month – has hit out at critics who compared her green Givenchy gown to that of the animated ogre Fiona from the ‘Shrek’ film franchise, saying she worked out “twice a day” to be able to fit into the elegant number.
Speaking on stage at a concert in Perth, Australia, the ‘Hello’ hitmaker said: “Before the Grammys I had this dress right, I wore this green dress, everyone said I looked like Fiona from Shrek. I don’t f***ing care. It was Givenchy Couture, they can say what they want.
“I worked out. Obviously I’m a large lady and I like eating food very much, but I was working out twice a day to fit into that Givenchy dress because it was quite tight. I was running a very long time to get fit for this but it never worked.”
Meanwhile Adele – who took home the Grammys for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year for ‘Hello’, and Best Pop Vocal album – also turned heads at the award show after she snapped her Album of the Year award in half in order to share it with Beyoncé, as she expected the stars LP ‘Lemonade’ to be named the winner.
She said during her acceptance speech: “I can’t possibly accept this award.
“I’m very humbled and I’m very grateful and gracious, but my artist of my life is Beyoncé and this album to me, the ‘Lemonade’ album, was just so monumental.
“It was so monumental and so well thought-out and so beautiful and soul-baring. We all got to see another side to you that you don’t always let us see and we appreciate that. All us artists here adore you. You are our light!”

Josh Gad: Playing Disney's first gay character is 'incredible'

OHMYGOSSIP — Josh Gad says portraying Disney’s first ever openly gay character is “incredible”.
The 36-year-old takes on the role of LeFou in the live-action remake of ‘Beauty and the Beast’, and has said the plot alteration that allows the character – who is the bumbling side-kick of antagonist Gaston, played by Luke Evans – to become Disney’s first ever LGBTQ character is “subtle but effective”.
Speaking at the world premiere of the movie in Hollywood on Thursday (02.03.17), Josh said: “[Director] Bill Condon did an amazing job of giving us an opportunity to create a version of Le Fou that isn’t like the original, that expands on what the original did, but that makes him more human and makes him a wonderfully complex character to some extent.
“It’s an incredible moment and it’s subtle, but I think it’s effective.”
Exact details of the plot alteration have not been revealed so as to avoid spoiling the movie, but director Bill Condon recently described one scene as offering a “nice, exclusively gay moment”.
He said: “LeFou is somebody who on one day wants to be Gaston and on another day wants to kiss Gaston. He’s confused about what he wants. It’s somebody who’s just realising that he has these feelings. And Josh makes something really subtle and delicious out of it. And that’s what has its payoff at the end, which I don’t want to give away. But it is a nice, exclusively gay moment in a Disney movie.”
Josh took to Twitter shortly after the news of his character’s sexuality was announced on Wednesday (01.03.17) to reply to a fan who had asked him to confirm the news.
Quoting the tweet which included a link to an article, Josh simply said: “Beyond proud of this.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger quits Celebrity Apprentice

OHMYGOSSIP — Arnold Schwarzenegger has stepped down as the host of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’.
The 69-year-old actor and businessman took on the role after the now-President Donald Trump left to begin his presidential campaign in 2015, but after one season he has decided to part ways with the programme – which sees a group of celebrities pit their business skills against one another – because it involves too much “baggage”.
Arnold said in a statement: “I loved every second of working with NBC and Mark Burnett. Everyone — from the celebrities to the crew to the marketing department — was a straight 10, and I would absolutely work with all of them again on a show that doesn’t have this baggage.”
The ‘Terminator’ star believes the involvement of the President – who still operates as an executive producer on the show – has created “division”, as celebrities no longer want to “participate” for fear of seeming as though they support President Trump’s often controversial political policies.
He said in an interview with Empire magazine published on Friday (03.03.17): “With Trump being involved in the show, people have a bad taste and don’t want to participate as a spectator or as a sponsor or in any other way support the show. It’s a very divisive period now, and I think this show got caught up in all that division.”
Meanwhile, the former Governor of California recently hit out at commander-in-chief Donald Trump after he mocked the show’s decline in ratings since he departed.
Trump urged people to “pray for Arnold” and branded the new series of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ a “disaster” during the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC, last month.
He said: “We had tremendous success on ‘The Apprentice’, and when I ran for president, I had to leave the show… and they hired a big, big movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to take my place, and we know how that turned out.
“The ratings went right down the tubes. It’s been a total disaster, and [executive producer] Mark [Burnett] will never, ever bet against Trump again. And I want to just pray for Arnold, if we can, for those ratings, OK?”
In response, Arnold quickly shared a video online and suggested he and the president “switch jobs”.
He said: “Hey Donald, I have a great idea: Why don’t we switch jobs? You take over TV because you’re such an expert at ratings, and I take over your job, and then people can finally sleep comfortably again.”

Jennifer Lopez: 'There's a reason' I'm no longer with Marc Anthony

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez says “there’s a reason” she’s no longer with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
The 47-year-old singer divorced from the record producer – with whom she shares nine-year-old twins Emme and Max – in 2014 after splitting in 2011, and despite being “great friends”, she insists there’s no romantic reconciliation on the horizon as they both believe they parted ways for a good reason.
Speaking on American television programme ‘The View’ on Friday (03.03.17), the ‘Shades of Blue’ actress said: “Marc and I are good how we are right now. There’s a reason we’re not together, but we’re great friends. And we’re parents together. We’re even working on a Spanish album together. [And] that has been even better for us. We met working, and that’s where we’re really magical, when we’re on stage together, and so we leave it there. That’s it.”
And the ‘On The Floor’ singer hasn’t been having much luck with love lately, after her romance with 30-year-old rapper Drake “fizzled” out due to their clashing schedules.
A source close to Jennifer revealed recently: “She likes Drake. They’re just busy, so it has fizzled.
“She’s a mom with an insanely busy career. He’s touring in Europe. Who knows what will happen in the future when they’re more able to be in the same place.”
It comes after it was revealed the couple have decided to “take some time apart” but are still very much “in each others’ lives”.
A source said: “They have taken some time apart, not because they don’t want to be with each other, just because their schedules started getting insane.
“JLo and Drake are still talking, so people should know they are not in any means angry or that some incident happened. It mainly had to do with timing. They have just cooled things off a bit and it’s not as fast as it was in the beginning. They very well may go to dinner tomorrow or in a month. They are in each others’ lives, just doing their own thing now.”

Celine Dion almost turned down Beauty and the Beast because of her late husband

OHMYGOSSIP — Celine Dion almost didn’t take part in the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ soundtrack because it reminded her of her late husband.
The 48-year-old singer recorded the song ‘How Does A Moment Last Forever’ for the live-action remake of the classic fairy tale, but says she “couldn’t say yes right away” because her husband and manager René Angélil – who died in January 2016 – helped her secure the titular duet she sang with Peabo Bryson for the 1991 animated Disney feature.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “My first ‘Beauty and the Beast’, the decision was made with my husband. Now I’m making decisions on my own. It’s a little bit harder. I couldn’t say yes right away, because I felt like I was kind of cheating in a way.”
It isn’t the first time the ‘My Heart Will Go On’ hitmaker has expressed her concerns with taking on a track for the remake as she previously said she felt like she was “cheating on” the original.
She said: “30 year later, they [came] back to me.
“I saw the [new] movie, it’s great, but there was something inside of me that was shaking a little bit.
“They say, ‘So what do you think? Would you consider singing this new ‘Beauty and the Beast’ song, 30 years later?’ and I’m like, ‘Uh, I have to listen to it again, because I need to be professional.’
“To be honest with you, I said to them, ‘That is so hard for me to commit [to] right now, because I felt like [I was] cheating [on] the first ‘Beauty and the Beast’.”
Meanwhile, Celine – who shared sons Rene-Charles, 16, and six-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy with Rene – recently said she was starting to feel “stronger” since the death of her husband, and now feels like the “leader of the family”.
She said: “When he left, he came inside of all of my kids’ hearts and mine, he gave the rest of his 50 percent for me to be complete, to continue the rest of my life, to feel strong and to believe that I can still do this and he will always be with me.
“I feel stronger. He gave me the rest of him. I feel stronger, I step forward. I say what I mean, I mean what I say. I stand up for my kids and I feel like I’m the leader of the family.”

Hugh Jackman pleased he's off his Wolverine diet

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Jackman is glad he’s no longer dieting for his ‘Wolverine’ roles.
The 48-year-old actor made his eighth and final appearance as the Marvel Comics character in the recently released ‘Logan’, and has said he’s “loving” being able to enjoy fatty foods again now that he doesn’t have to keep in shape for the role.
He said: “Now I’m eating and loving it. Sometimes waking up at two in the morning just to have breakfast cereal, and then go back to bed. With it still in my lap.”
And the Hollywood hunk – who played the clawed mutant for 17 years – says ability to stay in shape was “unbelievable” in hindsight.
Speaking on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ on Thursday (02.03.17), Hugh said: “It’s sort of unbelievable to me, what I did for 17 years. The first one, I thought you could get into shape in three weeks. The director pushed all the ‘shirt off’ scenes to the very end. You stop drinking water about 30 hours before you shoot. You lose ten pounds of water weight.”
And it isn’t just Hugh who’s happy he’s no longer under pressure to stay slim, as his wife Deborra-Lee Furness is pleased he will no longer look better than her.
Hugh said recently: “I think she’s just happy I’m off that diet. She said, ‘You’ve got to understand that your job as a husband is not to be in shape and make me look good.”
And he revealed his wife didn’t even want him to audition for Wolverine in the first place.
He recalled: “She told me, ‘Hugh, you were at the National Theatre with Sir Trevor Nunn, you cannot have claws coming out of your hands, this is ridiculous’.”

Ed Sheeran failed his driving test because of his mum

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran failed his driving test because he answered a phone call from his mum.
The 26-year-old singer took two attempts at the test before he was handed his licence, and has admitted the only reason he didn’t pass the first time was because his mother phoned him and he decided to break the law and answer whilst driving instead of ignoring the call.
Speaking to fellow musician Rick Astley whilst the pair played Jenga on UK radio station Magic Radio, the ‘Castle on the Hill hitmaker said: “I had my phone in the car, and as I was going round a roundabout my mum rang me to see if I passed my test, and instead of ignoring it I picked it up and said ‘sorry mum I’m doing my driving test.”
And although Ed has now passed his test, he still won’t drive the flashy sports car he bought with his vast fortune because he thinks it makes him look like a “t*t.”
He said previously: “I did what any bloke would do – sorted my family out, bought a sports car that I never drive because I look like a tit in it, bought a house and built a pub in my garden. I spoke to every dude I know and I was like, ‘What would you do in the same position?’ and they went ‘Build a pub.'”
The ‘Shape of You’ singer didn’t just splash his cash on fancy cars and pubs though, as he also admitted to having a gym and a swimming pool installed in his parents’ house so they can stay fit and healthy.
He said: “I think any kid at my age starts getting worried about their parents’ health.
“I have bought them a cross-trainer and built them a swimming pool.
“They are now training and swimming every day. I want them to be able to hang out with their grandkids for a very long time.”

The ‘Black Swan’ star and the French choreographer – who married in California in 2012 – are already parents to five-year-old son Aleph.
Natalie and Benjamin’s choice of name for their newest addition comes after the ‘No Strings Attached’ actress recently admitted they hadn’t compiled a shortlist of possible monikers because hey think it is important to “meet” the baby first.
Asked in January if she has chosen a name for the impending new arrival yet, Natalie said: “You got to meet a baby before. Gotta meet the baby and then figure it out.”
And the news comes after Natalie revealed last week she would not be attending the Oscars, which took place last weekend (26.02.17) because of her pregnancy, despite having been nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role – which was taken home by Emma Stone for ‘La La Land’ – for her performance in ‘Jackie’.

Octavia Spencer 'prayed' for accountant in Oscars mix-up

OHMYGOSSIP — Octavia Spencer “said some prayers” for the accountant who handed out the wrong envelope at the Oscars which lead to the Best Picture mix-up.
The gaffe at Sunday (26.02.17) night’s award show saw ‘La La Land’ mistakenly read out as the winner of the coveted prize instead of Barry Jenkins’ ‘Moonlight’, after PricewaterhouseCoopers accountant Brian Cullinan wrongly handed out the envelope for Best Actress in a Leading Role – which went to Emma Stone for her performance in the musical movie.
‘Hidden Figures’ actress Octavia was sat in the audience with her co-stars Taraji P. Henson and Janelle Monae – who also had a role in the winning movie – when the mistake occurred, and has said she felt nothing but sympathy for Brian who, along with his colleague Martha Ruiz, will not be allowed to attend next year’s ceremony.
Speaking to Jimmy Fallon on his late night talk show ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Thursday (02.03.17), the 46-year-old actress – who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress but lost out to Viola Davis – said: “It was exhilarating and fun. I mean, it was a lot of firsts that night. Janelle was in ‘Moonlight’ and didn’t realise they had won. I’m like, ‘You gotta get up there, you guys won.’
“It was a ‘Hold up. Wait a minute. What’s going on? Did ‘Hidden Figures’ win?’ I really felt for the ‘La La Land’ people, but they had won all night.
“The guy that gave the envelope, I really said some prayers for him because he is the one that really just, like, that was bad. It was kinda sad.”
Octavia noted that the mix-up was an “honest mistake”, and praised actor Warren Beatty – who presented the award along with Faye Dunaway – for handling the “drama” gracefully.
She added: “I’m glad that Warren Beatty explained all the drama and squashed it.”

Viola Davis: I fear my daughter will be 'entitled'

OHMYGOSSIP — Viola Davis “fears” her daughter will grow up to be “entitled”.
The 51-year-old actress – who experienced extreme poverty as a child – shares five-year-old daughter Genesis with her husband Julius Tennon, and has said she does what she can to make sure her daughter doesn’t grow up expecting expensive things.
When asked how she balances wanting Genesis to have more than she did as a child, and wanting her to appreciate what she has, Viola said: “You just listed my number one fear, which is entitlement. I never had a house; I do shop at Target, I buy all her clothes at Target or H&M. And maybe, if I’m feeling really good, Nordstrom Rack.”
And Viola – who recently took home the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in ‘Fences’ at the Oscars last month – said her husband and actor Julius, 63, helps her keep Genesis grounded as he always “holds her accountable” for the things she does.
Viola – who has been married to Julius since 2003 – said: “Julius is really tough. He has two beautiful children and seven grandkids. I came into a relationship where he already had children and grandchildren and raised his kids on his own, so he’s tough — he toes the line, but in a very loving way.
“He holds her accountable. Me, not so much — I’m the softie. Really, entitlement. Listen, there are poor kids who are entitled. So I pray.”
Meanwhile, Viola says she decided to have a child with her husband because she wanted her life to “mean something deeper”.
She told People magazine: “I wanted my life to mean and be something deeper. That’s when the urge came, and the urge was just very, very, very, strong. So I have a kid now and she is just the light of our lives.”

BRIT Awards increase George Michael album sales

OHMYGOSSIP — Sales for George Michael’s ‘A Different Corner’ have risen by 500% after the touching tribute at the BRIT Awards.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin took to the stage at the glitzy award ceremony last week (22.02.17) to perform a heartfelt rendition of the late singer’s 1986 hit single. Midway through the performance a recording of George – who passed away on Christmas Day (25.12.16) – singing the same track was broadcast on a giant video screen and the pair sang in perfect harmony.
According to Official Charts data for the week since the ceremony – which also included a warming tribute from his former Wham! band mates Andrew Ridgeley, Pepsi DeMacque and Shirlie Holliman – there has been a significant rise in demand for the work of the ‘Careless Whisper’ hitmaker.
His definitive ‘Best Of’ compilation album ‘Ladies & Gentleman’ received a whopping 83% rise in purchases on CD, vinyl, and downloads, as well as via audio streams, pushing it to number eight in this week’s Official Albums Chart.
George’s album’s ‘Faith’, ‘Older’, ‘Symphonica’, and ‘Twenty Five’, also received a lift in sales.
Geoff Taylor, chief executive of the BRIT Awards, said: “It’s no surprise there’s been a marked rise in demand for George Michael’s music. The heart-felt tribute from his fellow Wham! band members and Chris Martin’s wonderfully touching performance of ‘A Different Corner’ reminded us just how brilliantly crafted his classic songs are.”

Now that they’ve had space, we’ll see if they end up getting back together, but for now, they are still happily separated. They are both much happier and in a better place right now.”
And the 29-year-old television personality is said to be keen to continue with their reality show ‘Rob and Chyna’.

Luke Evans' childhood dream was to work in a supermarket

OHMYGOSSIP — Luke Evans wanted to work in a supermarket as a child.
The 37-year-old thespian maybe one of the world’s most in-demand actors with four new films coming out this year, including the soon-to-be released live-action Disney film ‘Beauty and the Beast’, he had very different ambitions growing up in Wales.
As a youngster Evans was obsessed with the tills in his local supermarket and always dreamed of having a job manning the checkout.
In an interview with the new German edition of GQ Style magazine, he said: “I always wanted to just do what I love. As a child, I wanted to be a salesman at the supermarket. I loved the tills because they looked so interesting and made all these noises, no nonsense! After I got over the supermarket tills that was the beginning of my interest in acting.”
Although he eventually settled on acting as a career, Evans – who began his journey to the big screen in 2000 with a host of theatre roles in London’s West End – took on lots of part-time jobs to earn enough cash to pursue his ultimate goal.
He said: “I did everything to survive. I remember exactly how it is to not know how you are going to pay your rent. When I was 20 years old, I had several jobs. I could never have survived from my money from my first show. So I sang every Tuesday with a jazz band for little money I worked in an agency in the morning, and in the evening I was a doorman at a nightclub. And if that was not enough, I also helped out with Harrods. I did everything to survive.”
Evans plays villainous hunter Gaston in ‘Beauty and the Beast’ alongside Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as the cursed Prince Adam who must live as The Beast until the love of a woman can break the curse.

Diego Luna's sex scene nerves

OHMYGOSSIP — Diego Luna was “nervous” about “getting too excited” when he filmed his first sex scene.
The ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ actor says he was just 12-years-old when he had to film an intimate scene on a television show and was very scared about having “40 people” watching him.
Speaking on ‘Conan Without Borders: Made in Mexico’, he said: “I arrived, I was very nervous and I was just like, ‘I hope she likes it and after the scene, because I know it’s not going to be sex, but then something can start from there.’
“And then I get there and I see 40 people looking at me with the camera – s**t. And all I could just think of was, ‘Oh, I don’t want to have a hard [on], please, please, please. I don’t want to get too excited.’ And obviously it didn’t happen. I was 12, I couldn’t control it. She was very nice; she hid it.”
It comes after Diego recently revealed he nearly missed a casting call for the role of Captain Cassian Andor because he thought it was just a “drunken cousin” calling him.
He said: “I saw this British number calling me at 2 a.m., and I have family in England, so I thought it was, like, a drunken cousin from a bar or something.
“I ran over and saw that it was [director] Gareth Edwards wanting to give me some news! I just jumped around like crazy – it was quite a special day. [Edwards] said, ‘Okay, welcome to Star Wars.'”
However, he was forced to keep it a secret for a “long time”.
He added: “I didn’t trust my children to keep the secret because, well, they’re kids! I told them we were spending the summer in England, but I couldn’t tell them why for quite a long time.”
