OHMYGOSSIP — Josh Gad has branded ‘Beauty and the Beast’ as a film about “unity”.
The 36-year-old actor stars as LeFou in the live-action remake of the 1991 Disney animated classic, and has praised the movie for touching on the importance of “inclusiveness” after it was revealed his character – who is the bumbling sidekick of antagonist Gaston, played by Luke Evans – would be the first openly gay character in Disney history.
Speaking to People magazine, Josh said: “What I would say is that this film is one of inclusiveness. It’s one that has something to offer everyone.
“There is so much fear out there of that which we don’t understand that which we don’t know. And you have a character in Gaston who uses his charm offensive to whip other people into a frenzy to go and attack somebody they’ve never met. Somebody that’s different. Somebody that only represents a danger because [Gaston] says that he represents a danger.
“I think that that theme is as relevant today as it was when ‘Beauty and the Beast’ was first written 300 years ago. So that’s what I hope people take from it.”
And Josh – who also stars alongside Emma Watson and Dan Stevens in the movie – hopes people will learn to be “understanding” after watching the recently released feature.
He added: “It’s about unity, it’s about never judging a book by its cover. But digging a little deeper and understanding to not be fearful of things you don’t know or people who look a little different to you.
“Fear is not a good thing to fuel, and Gaston is responsible for that. But he fails — he fails miserably, and everybody finds love. Everyone!”
Meanwhile, Josh previously admitted that his character is able to be “more human” and “wonderfully complex” now that the plot has expanded to give LeFou more detail.
He said: “[Director] Bill Condon did an amazing job of giving us an opportunity to create a version of LeFou that isn’t like the original, that expands on what the original did, but that makes him more human and makes him a wonderfully complex character to some extent.
“It’s an incredible moment and it’s subtle, but I think it’s effective.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bill Paxton’s cause of death has been confirmed as a stroke following complications with heart surgery.
The ‘Twister’ actor passed away last month at the age of 61, and it has now been revealed that his cause of death came after he suffered a stroke 11 days after having undergone surgery to replace a heart valve and correct an aortic aneurysm.
According to Bill’s death certificate, originally obtained by TMZ.com, the star went under the knife for surgery on February 11, and suffered the stroke which ended his life on the 25th.
At the time, Bill’s family confirmed the sad news in a statement describing him as an “adored husband and father”.
The statement read: “It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Bill Paxton has passed away due to complications from surgery.
“A loving husband and father, Bill began his career in Hollywood working on films in the art department and went on to have an illustrious career spanning four decades as a beloved and prolific actor and filmmaker.
“Bill’s passion for the arts was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth and tireless energy were undeniable. We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their adored husband and father.”
Meanwhile, a number of stars have taken to social media to pay tribute to the actor, including his ‘True Lies’ co-star Jamie Lee Curtis.
She wrote: “Nooooo. Bill Paxton is gone. Such a funny, talented, loving human. Louise & the children & family my [love] & support 2 u. #truelies (sic)”
Meanwhile, ‘Breaking Bad’ actor Aaron Paul remembered one of the “greatest guys” he’d ever met.
He wrote: “Bill Paxton was hands down one of the greatest guys that I have ever met. I feel lucky to have called him my friend. Bill, I love you. RIP. (sic)”
Lou Diamond Phillips posted: “I am stunned & saddened at the passing of Bill Paxton. I just worked with him recently. A warm and beautiful soul and a talented actor. RIP (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen hopes people won’t “tiptoe around” her after she opened up about suffering with postpartum depression.
The 31-year-old bravely penned an essay for the April issue of Glamour magazine in which she spoke candidly about the physical and emotional changes she faced after giving birth to her 10-month-old daughter Luna, whom she shares with her husband John Legend.
After sharing the moving article on her Twitter account on Monday (06.03.17), the ‘Sports Illustrated’ model took to the social media site again to urge people not to treat her any differently, as it would make her feel “uncomfortable”.
She wrote: “Important note: please don’t feel like you have to tiptoe around me! It is the most uncomfortable feeling ahhhh only downside to sharing PPD
“All of a sudden everyone’s “how are you!” turns to “how arrrrrre you??????” know what I’m saying? No? Yes? Ah (sic)”
In the article, Chrissy explained she couldn’t “figure out why” she felt unhappy after the birth of her daughter.
She said: “I went back to work on ‘Lip Sync Battle’ in August, when Luna was four months. The show treated me incredibly well … But I was different than before. Getting out of bed to get to set on time was painful. My lower back throbbed; my ­shoulders – even my wrists – hurt. I didn’t have an appetite. I would go two days without a bite of food, and you know how big of a deal food is for me. One thing that really got me was just how short I was with people.
“I would be in my dressing room, sitting in a robe, getting hair and makeup done, and a crew member would knock on the door and ask, ‘Chrissy, do you know the lyrics to this song?’ And I would lose it … They would leave. My eyes would well up and I would burst into tears. My makeup artist would pat them dry and give me a few minutes.
“I couldn’t figure out why I was so unhappy. I blamed it on being tired and possibly growing out of the role, ‘Maybe I’m just not a goofy person anymore. Maybe I’m just supposed to be a mom.'”
And Chrissy admits it wasn’t until she saw her doctor that she began to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
She continued: “Before the holidays I went to my GP for a physical. John sat next to me. I looked at my doctor, and my eyes welled up because I was so tired of being in pain … My doctor pulled out a book and started listing symptoms. And I was like, ‘Yep, yep, yep.’ I got my diagnosis: postpartum depression and anxiety …
“I remember being so exhausted but happy to know that we could finally get on the path of getting better. John had that same excitement. I started taking an antidepressant, which helped. And I started sharing the news with friends and family – I felt like everyone deserved an explanation, and I didn’t know how else to say it other than the only way I know: just saying it. It got easier and easier to say it aloud every time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Olly Murs is training to become a magician.
The 32-year-old singer has revealed he’s started to study “card tricks” whilst on the road in between shows, in order to keep his mind off going out “to meet girls”.
He said: “I’m trying to be good at the moment.
“I don’t want to go out and I’m trying not to meet girls. I just want to be cool and stay chilled, so I’ve been learning card tricks. I’m really obsessed.
“One of my friends taught me and now I go online and practice them.”
And the ‘You Don’t Know Love’ hitmaker – who is currently on a lengthy 24-date tour of the UK – admits his new hobby isn’t just useful for keeping him in check when it comes to the ladies, as it also helps him get his “head straight” and “re-focused” in between his hectic touring life.
He added: “In this industry you go through so much, there’s so much going on, sometimes I need to take myself away from it all and get my head straight – get myself re-focused.
“With Ed Sheeran, hearing what he’s been doing while he’s been away for a year travelling the world.
“He probably needed to get away from it all. For me, it’s similar – I go back to Essex and see my friends. I learn new tricks and do something completely different to music. It gives me a reality check.
“I’m really enjoying learning – it’s fun.”
But the ‘Troublemaker’ singer has no interest in taking his magical skills to the stage though, as he’d rather entertain with his voice.
He joked to The Sun newspaper: “You won’t see me on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ – but you might find me in the Magic Circle one day.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Lynn Spears says her daughter Maddie’s ATV accident was her “worst nightmare”.
The eight-year-old daughter of the former ‘Zoey 101’ star – whom she shares with her former partner Casey Aldridge – was airlifted to hospital last month when an off-road vehicle she was riding flipped over, leaving Maddie unconscious and underwater for several minutes.
Maddie has since made a full recovery and joined her mother at the baptism of her cousin Kylie Blair on Sunday (05.03.17), where the 25-year-old actress took to Instagram to say she’ll “never stop thanking” her fans for their support during the horrific ordeal.
Posting a picture of Maddie holding her young cousin, Jamie Lynn wrote: A month ago, at this time, I was living a mothers/anyones worst nightmare happening right infront of my eyes, helplessly….Fastforward- Today, we were able to celebrate the baptism of our sweet Kylie Blair. I’m not one to preach, but we were shown God’s grace, and we still feel undeserving of His mercy. I’ll never stop thanking each of you for your prayers, because we recognize the miracle it created. We are beyond blessed, and we will NEVER forget y’all, and God’s unbelievable mercy #Godisgood (sic)”
Maddie spent almost one week in a hospital in New Orleans last month before she was discharged in order to continue treatment in the comfort of her own home.
Jamie Lynn said on Instagram at the time: “Thanks to the amazing first responders, and medical teams at University and Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, LA, we are headed home with our baby girl as she continues to recover. Above all else we are so thankful for each and every prayer, because we know that is what truly made the difference. Thank you again to everyone. We are truly blessed (sic)”
Meanwhile, pop star Britney Spears – who is the older sister of Jamie Lynn – previously asked fans to send their “wishes and prayers” to her niece.
She wrote: “Need all the wishes and prayers for my niece.”

OHMYGOSSIP — James Blunt is “desperately sad” his son won’t get to meet his godmother Carrie Fisher.
The 43-year-old singer previously dubbed the late ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ star – who passed away in December 2016 aged 60 – as his “American mother”, and has now expressed his sadness at the fact that his eight-month-old son, whom he shares with his wife Sofia Wellesley, will never “get to know her.”
He said: “She’s the most amazing person I know and I’m really desperately sad he won’t get to know her but I have many memories, many stories I’ll be able to tell him.”
The ‘You’re Beautiful’ hitmaker couldn’t share any of those stories, however, as he deemed them unsuitable for camera.
When asked by People magazine if he could share any stories about his friendship with the late star, James said: “I don’t know if any of them are safe enough to tell on camera.”
Meanwhile, James previously admitted “life won’t be as fun” without Carrie, with whom he struck up an unlikely friendship after ex-girlfriend Dixie Chassay, whose family are long-time friends of the Hollywood star, introduced them.
He said: “She was just the most incredible person. She was a hugely bright person and her brain just jumped between subjects and she was an incredible writer and comedian in her own way. Life will definitely not be as much fun now that she’s not around.”
Their friendship became stronger when Carrie learnt that James was heading to Los Angeles to record in the US and she kindly invited him to stay with her at her Beverley Hills home.
He recalled: “I met her in Notting Hill and I said, ‘I’ve got a record deal and I’m moving to LA,’ and she said, ‘Well you’re going to need a place to stay,’ and she put me up, and has been really, I suppose, my kind-of, godmother in the States, my landlady definitely. She was a very, very special woman and it’s an absolute tragedy that she’s gone.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’ has become the most nominated new play in the history of the Olivier Awards.
The two-part theatre production – penned by J. K. Rowling – which imagines Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley as adults waving their children off to the famous wizarding school Hogwarts, has smashed the record for the annual ceremony after it pulled in an impressive 11 nominations – including Best New Play – on Monday (06.03.17).
Jamie Parker – who portrays the grown up version of the titular wand-waving wizard – could be in with the chance of walking away with the trophy for Best Actor at the event next month, but he will need to beat off stiff competition from ‘Buried Child’ star Ed Harris, Travesties’ Tom Hollander and six-time winner Sir Ian McKellen.
Although no one from the play managed to creep into the Best Actress category this time around, Hadyn Gweynne, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, Rebecca Trehearn and Emma Williams will go head-to-head for their portrayals in ‘The Threepenny Opera’, ‘Murder Ballad’, ‘Show Boat’ and ‘Half a Sixpence’, respectively.
‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ has also managed to worm its way into the Outstanding Achievement in Music category alongside ‘Dreamgirls’, ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and ‘School Of Rock The Musical’.
Sheridan Smith – who hasn’t had the easiest of times recently after tragically losing her father to cancer earlier this year – will be pleased to learn that she’s in with the chance of bagging the gong for Best Actress in a Musical for her impressive portrayal of Fanny Brice in The Savoy’s ‘Funny Girl’.
‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ has also secured a nomination for Best Theatre Choreographer thanks to Steven Hoggett, Best Lighting Design due to Neil Austin’s hard work and Best Set Design because of Christine Jones, while Anthony Boyle and Noma Dumezweni bagged nods for Best Actor and Actress in a Supporting Role.
Sir Kenneth Branagh will also be honoured for his contribution to theatre at this year’s awards.
Julian Bird, executive producer of the Olivier Awards, said: “In a year of global change, the nominees for this year’s awards demonstrate London theatre’s ability to challenge our perceptions, stir our emotions, and entertain us.
The Olivier Awards will take place at the Royal Albert Hall in west London on April 9.

OHMYGOSSIP — Carmen Electra is a “little pickier” when it comes to men now.
The 44-year-old model is single at the moment but is looking forward to the day “the right person will come her way”.
She said: “I’m actually single right now. But I believe in love and I think the right person will come my way. I think I’m a little pickier now. I just want the right thing.
“[But] I also decided to focus on work. I’ve been out on some dates, but nothing has really panned out for me. I’m not out there looking. I think that it will happen naturally and I’ll be excited for that day.”
And despite her stunning figure, Carmen admits there are parts of her body that she doesn’t “feel confident” about.
She added to Fox News: “I think every woman has parts about their bodies that they feel confident about, and then other parts that they don’t feel as comfortable with.
“You have to know your body and how you want to look. You do that by trying everything on. For me, I love corsets … unless I’m around the house, then I want something really comfortable and soft. But whatever makes you feel best.”
Meanwhile, Carmen previously confessed she would love to date an “intelligent” man.
She said: “If they don’t trust me, it’s hard. It makes work hard. They have to be incredibly smart, intelligent, brains is everything. Looks aren’t really a priority for me. I like artists, a sense of humour.
“But I have a tendency to get bored. I like very intelligent men because they’re interesting; it’s sexy to me. Someone that’s open to play and have fun not someone that’s so serious.”
And whilst she’d love to have that special someone in her life, Carmen is trying to strike up a “balance” between her career and her home life.
She added: “I just keep myself really busy and throw myself into work. I’m trying to have more balance in my life because I’m either one hundred percent work or one hundred percent relationship.
“I love doing this and I’m a workaholic sometimes and other times, I like to chill and relax. It’s about finding that balance. I’m getting there.”

“Most days were spent on the exact same spot on the couch and rarely would I muster up the energy to make it upstairs for bed. John would sleep on the couch with me, sometimes four nights in a row. I started keeping robes and comfy clothes in the pantry so I wouldn’t have to go upstairs when John went to work. There was a lot of spontaneous crying.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Martin threw himself a Willy Wonka themed party to mark his 40th birthday.
The Coldplay frontman celebrated the milestone with his family and friends including ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow at his home in Malibu on Friday evening (03.03.17).
No expenses spared, Chris decked out the entrance to his home with a huge sign that read ‘Pure Imagination’.
A marquee installed to the side of his home was full of giant toadstools and decorations crafted out of lollipops.
The tables were decorated with colourful napkins with the words ‘Chris’ 40th’ embossed on it in the same font used for the 1971 film ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’.
Beyoncé and Jay Z – who are expecting twins – were spotted pulling up to the property whilst James Corden, Robert Downey Jr., Barbra Streisand and Orlando Bloom were also in attendance.
Chris’ bandmate Jonny Buckland also joined him at the event and the pair even stepped into a photo booth alongside their pals to ensure they had a permanent reminder of the party.
It comes after Gwyneth posted a sweet message to Chris to mark his 40th birthday.
The ‘Mortdecai’ star – who shares Apple, 12, and Moses, 10, with the ‘A Sky Full Of Stars’ hitmaker – wrote: “HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY to the best daddy in the world!!! We [heart] you so much! (sic)”
And Chris has remained close to Gwyneth despite their split.
She shared recently: “There was nothing dramatic or anything. I had built my life on trying to be all things to all people, and I just couldn’t do it anymore, and I really had the sense that I wasn’t allowed to have needs, and I had to prove my specialness or self-worth by doing all this stuff and taking care of everybody else, and I just sort of hit a wall.
“We’ve worked really f***ing hard to get to [this] point. But we’re very, very close, and it’s so nice. I feel like it’s, in a way, the relationship we were meant to have.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Coco Rocha believes social media has made fashion attainable.
The 28-year-old model credits the online platform for allowing models to express their own unique personality and therefore stop the fashion industry from being “unattainable and aspirational”.
She said: “[Before social media], everything was hush-hush. The fashion industry was supposed to be a fantasy world that was unattainable and aspirational.
“And the model was part of that. You wouldn’t really know anything about her or her personality, and here I was trying to change that. It’s funny that some of the same people who told me I was ‘ruining the mystique’ at the time are now posting incessantly about what they ate for breakfast.”
And Coco feels platforms like Twitter and Instagram have put the public back in charge of fashion and who steps onto the runway.
She added: “All of a sudden, readers and fans were letting the major brands and magazines know [via social media] who their favourite models were and who they wanted to see in images and on runways … I’m happy to see that happen to girls again.”
There was a particular incident in May 2012 where a picture of Coco on the cover of Elle Brasil was airbrushed, making it appear as though she was baring more skin than she had agreed to. And Coco believes the existence of social media “gave her a voice” to speak out about what happened.
She told the April issue of Canada’s FASHION Magazine: “I could have left it alone; because when you tell people you don’t like something, that’s when they search for it the most. What do you do? Leave it alone and let most of Brazil see it or talk about it and then most of the world will see it? It was a hard decision, but we decided to post a response because I wasn’t proud of that cover.
“Imagine if you were walking down the street and all of a sudden someone came up to you and ripped off your shirt. I was making the same point. If that had happened in the early 2000s, I wouldn’t have been able to tell the world what I thought. Thanks to social media, I had a voice.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Geri Horner looks back on her regrets with “compassion and humour”.
The former Spice Girl – who has 10-year-old daughter Bluebell with her former partner Sacha Gervasi and one-month-old son Montague with her husband Christian Horner – tries her best to look positively at the mistakes she has made in the past.
She said: “My mother asked me recently if I regretted anything. Wisdom with hindsight can be obnoxious, yet also useful and humbling. I guess it depends on how philosophical I’m feeling.
“Forgive the cliché but mistakes can be turned into useful lessons. Sometimes they are cringe moments we all want to forget, but we can also develop any awkward experiences into comfortable truths. I think the best way to look back at any regrets is with compassion and humour. One large spoonful of humility can help.”
And the 44-year-old singer has reflected on her 90s self through her latest music and feels she has gone “almost full circle” since her Spice Girls days.
She added: “I think I’ve gone almost full circle as an artist. I turned 18 in 1990 so, as a young adult, there was a huge bravado and an unconscious spirit that drove me forward with confidence and abandonment. This became clear in the music I was writing. But, as one gets older, gets more life experience and absorbs outside influences, we get more cautious and sometimes over-think things. On reflection, as I create music in this new phase of my life, I’m very aware that my musical taste has evolved, but I do think I went through a period of trying to hold on to what I knew.
“Now, in the essence of the music I’m making and the lyrics I’m communicating, I’ve really just gone back to where I started. I’m writing songs instinctively about how I feel rather than trying to be in with the in-crowd. I’ve gone back to move forward and feel I’ve woken up with a passion to express myself with honesty and without caution or self-consciousness. That’s freedom.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Davis is planning to launch a career as a pop star and will write some “massive heartbreak ballads” later this year following her shock reunion with her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell.
The 23-year-old star has just rekindled her romance with the heavily-inked heartthrob after a paternity test recently revealed he is the father of her seven-week-old son Caben-Albi and she is keen to draw on the emotional journey she’s experienced over the past 12 months since they met in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ to record an album.
A source told The Sun Online: “Stephanie is the happiest she has been in months and can’t wait to get in the studio and write some massive heartbreak ballads, these tracks could be explosive.”
Stephanie may have made a name for herself portraying bolshie teenage mother Sinead O’Connor in the Channel 4 soap ‘Hollyoaks’ but the brunette beauty has always had a passion for music.
She tried her luck on ‘The X Factor’ when she was 14 but only managed to make it through to bootcamp. However, she got her big break in 2010 when she took part in BBC talent show ‘Over the Rainbow’ which was held to find an actress to play the role of Dorothy Gale in Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 2011 stage production of the 1939 film ‘The Wizard of Oz’.
A source explained: “She thinks her controversial exit from ‘Hollyoaks’ was a sign that she now has to pursue her real dream. When it comes to music, she has a lot of confidence. Simon [Cowell] begged her as a teen to come back and audition another year on ‘The X Factor’, but she never did.
“But now feels like the right time. She’s been in the studio secretly working on material which she thinks will surprise people. It’s very dance-y and has an Ibiza-style vibe to it.”
As well as slaving away in the recording studio, Stephanie is juggling life as a new mother but, luckily, she now has Jeremy – who has now moved to Liverpool – by her side to help with parenthood.
The pair dated last year after they met in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house while competing in the January series, but they split in May following a series of rows.
Stephanie then found out she was pregnant but the 27-year-old heartthrob refused to believe he was the father of the then-unborn tot and branded her an attention seeker.
Once the baby was born, Jeremy requested a paternity test and was relieved to find out three weeks ago that Caben does in fact belong to him.

OHMYGOSSIP — David Letterman schedules his life around his family.
The 69-year-old television personality – who stepped down as host of ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ in 2015 – says his schedule is now “secondary” to that of his wife Regina Lasko and their 13-year-old son Harry.
Asked what a regular day is to him now, he said: “Right now, I’m missing ‘The Price Is Right’; thanks a lot! A regular day is structured around my wife and son. I am secondary to their schedule.
“But my days – I was just in California with some people. It was business related. So I do a lot of that, and I do a lot of pro bono work, as they say in the legal industry. But mostly I sit on the edge of the bed and stare at the floor.”
And whilst David is enjoying being out of the spotlight, he admits he is still adapting to his new life.
He told Vulture: “It’s still hard. I have trouble operating the phone. That’s the God’s truth. I needed a pair of shoelaces. And I thought, Hell, where do you get shoelaces? And my friend said, there’s a place over off I-84, it’s the Designer Shoe Warehouse. So I go over there, and it’s a building the size of the Pentagon. It’s enormous. If you took somebody from – I don’t know, pick a country where they don’t have Designer Shoe Warehouses – blindfolded them and turned them loose in this place, they would just think, You people are insane. Who needs this many shoes? It’s sinful.
“It’s one of these places where there’s no employees and every now and then there’s just a scrum of shoe boxes. I’m not finding the damn shoelaces, and finally I think, maybe it’s one of those items they’ve got at the counter. I go up there and I’m nosing around the counter and, by God, there’s shoelaces. This is after about an hour. So now I’m waiting in line and the woman checking people out says in a big loud voice, ‘May I help our next shoe lover, please?’ I just started to tremble. Nobody else seems to have a problem with going to a store!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Karrueche Tran will face Chris Brown in court on Thursday (09.03.17) as she bids for a permanent restraining order against the singer.
The 28-year-old actress-and-model was awarded a temporary restraining order by a court last month but she has reportedly had difficulty in serving him the order and so is heading to see a judge.
At the court hearing, sources say Karrueche is planning to tell the law official how she fears for her life, TMZ reports.
It comes after Karrueche issued a sworn statement to the court last month where she claimed he “told a few people that he was going to kill her”. She also alleged that Chris told the people he was going to “take her out” and “shoot her” if they couldn’t get back together.
Karrueche also alleges that Chris, 27, had “punched her in her stomach twice [and] pushed her down the stairs” several years ago.
Meanwhile, Chris had previously appeared to comment on the claims made by Karrueche in a video posted to his Instagram account.
In the video posted online, he said: “Make sure y’all don’t be listening to all this bulls**t man. I don’t know what the f**k they’re talking about. Don’t believe all that bulls**t, bro.”
And Chris previously described himself as a “stalker” boyfriend.
He said in a clip posted to his own account on the photo sharing site: “Ladies, y’all be complaining about n***as being, like, stalkers and in love with y’all, kinda crazy and s**t and you get tired of it. Well, guess what?
“I’m one of them n***as! If I love you, b***h, ain’t nobody gonna have you. I’m gonna make you miserable. I’m going to chase that n***a out and I’m gonna chase yo ass around, and it’s done.”

OHMYGOSSIP — will.i.am is delighted his friend Cheryl has finally found happiness.
The Black Eyed Peas star insists he “doesn’t know” if his pal has given birth to her first child yet, but is pleased that, after her failed marriages to Ashley Cole and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, thinks are going very well between her and Liam Payne.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’, he said: “I don’t know if she has had the baby. She has been keeping it private, there are no details.
“You know, you have a bunch of thirsty folks and for her to keep that private with all the details is amazing.
“I have known her for a long time and she’s been in and out of bad relationships but this one seems to be the one that’s nurturing and bearing fruit.
“For her to protect that fruit and keep it private with her significant other; I’m really happy for her.”
Cheryl, 33, is believed to have had her mother Joan Callaghan living with her during her pregnancy and 41-year-old will thinks she’ll have been a great support to her.
He added: “Her mum is amazing – she’s cuddly!”
The ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ singer sparked speculation over the weekend when she shared pictures from her Eyelure eyelash range with a noticeably flatter stomach.
However, it is believed the photos were taken last year as it was recently claimed she isn’t due to give birth for “several weeks” and is currently focused on the work her charity Cheryl’s Trust is doing with The Prince’s Trust..
A source said: “The rumour mill has been rife that the birth is imminent and there have even been claims she’s in labour already but that’s not the case at all.
“She’s still a little way off and has been enjoying the build-up as well as focusing on her charity announcement which is a really big deal for her.”
