OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Tyson insists he is feeling “100 per cent” after suffering a mid-flight medical emergency.
The boxing icon, 57, was on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday (26.05.24) when he “became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing,” according to his representative.
He has now taken to X ahead of his controversial bout with 27-year-old YouTuber Jake Paul to declare: “Now feeling 100% even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul.”
Mike’s spokesperson has stated the fighter was “doing great” after receiving proper medical attention and that “he is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him”.
The spokesperson also dismissed reports Mike’s medical scare caused a delay before the take-off of his flight, and said the delay was down to an “air conditioning issue on the aircraft”.
Mike retired from boxing in 2005 and is set to return to the ring in July for a highly publicised fight against Jake, which has caused a wave of controversy due to the pair’s age difference.
Tyson’s update on X comes after Jake said on the platform his and Mike’s clash was still going ahead.
He ranted online on Monday (27.05.24): “You love to make s*** up before knowing the facts for clicks / likes. Nothing changed #PaulTyson.”
The fight between Mike and Jake is slated to broadcast live on Netflix from the AT and T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on 20 July.
Mike said about accepting the fight at a press conference earlier this month: “It was a no-brainer. He’s the new up-and-coming guy on the scene. I like shaking the sports world to its core, and I’m doing that now. It’s just something I want to do.
“No one else can do this. Who else can shut the sporting world down? No one else can do it.”
Jake has referred to the upcoming match as “quite literally the biggest fight of the 21st century”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B has mocked body-shaming trolls by videoing herself gorging on a plate of pancakes.
The 31-year-old ‘WAP’ rapper – born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar – has repeatedly been targeted by keyboard warriors after undergoing plastic surgery to enlarge her bum and breasts, and has admitted to getting liposuction and other procedures.
She responded to a new wave of attacks following her performance in Las Vegas at the weekend by sarcastically joking in her online pancake-eating video: “I’m getting body-shamed. I’m so sad.”
Cardi added as she pretended to cry: “Everybody saying that I look fat and that my a** is so fat.”
Her video also showed her spraying whipped cream on three golden-brown flapjacks as she continued to eat.
And when she took huge bites of her syrupy breakfast and licked her lips, she added: “Everybody hates me.”
Her fans filled the comments section of her post with praise for the performer, calling her everything from “a mood” to a “Queen”.
But others stressed she was being trolled not for her weight but over her “botched” plastic surgery, which some said looked “crazy”.
Cardi’s appearance caused a stir when she performed at Drai’s nightclub in Vegas on Saturday (25.05.24) as she wore a tight leopard-print catsuit that showed off her curves.
Cardi has said she does not care about the brutal trolling she endures over her decision to go under the knife.
She said on Instagram in 2019: “(People tell me), ‘You lazy, you should just work out (instead of getting surgery.)’

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj has threatened to fire her ‘Pink Friday 2’ world tour DJ after he signed a fan’s chest.
The 41-year-old rapper took to X to seemingly slam DJ Boof after he boasted about his celebrity status as a fan had asked him to sign her breasts.
Nicki – real name Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty – ranted online: “I promise I’ll fire him if I EVAHHHHH see this again. Df.”
She also retweeted the picture that showed Boof grinning as he autographed a fan’s chest with a marker
He said alongside the snap: “I’m really famous. They asked me to sign their boobs.”
Nicki’s threat prompted a flood of fans to point out she also signs her fans’ chests.
But Boof – born Clyde Joseph Jr, and who rose to fame as the DJ on ‘The Wendy Show’ – appeared to backtrack about wanting fame when he said on his Instagram Stories: “Growing up I used to want to be famous but we all know you can be famously broke.”
Nicki’s threat comes after she was briefly arrested on Saturday (25.05.24) by Dutch authorities at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and fined for allegedly “carrying drugs”.
She documented much of her arrest on Instagram, which included a video that showed officers informing her all her bags needed to be searched because they found drugs and were suspicious that she had more.
Nicki could be heard protesting and saying everything was a misunderstanding. She also claimed via X that the drugs found belonged to her security team.
She was on her way to Manchester at the time of her arrest, and it forced her to cancel her concert in the city’s Co-Op Live Arena.
Meanwhile, she has been ridiculed by some fans for asking for a moment of silence for her “dear friend” Princess Diana at her concert in Birmingham, England, on Sunday. (26.05.24)
She handed her pink microphone to a concertgoer who declared he was from Wales, and Nicki link their hometown to the late Princess of Wales when she said in a British accent: “Wales! It always reminds me of a dear friend of mine –– well, she’s not here anymore – but the Princess of Wales.”
Nicki then paused and called for a “moment of silence” for the late princess and held the microphone to her chest and looked down for a few seconds while the audience became slightly quieter.
Some fans mocked the tribute by pointing out Nicki was a schoolgirl when Diana died in 1997.

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Dreyfuss’ alleged transphobic and misogynistic comments have been branded “disgusting” by his son.
The ‘Jaws’ star, 76, has made headlines for apparently launching into a rant about transgender children and diversity on Saturday (25.05.24) during a ticketed screening of the 1975 shark-attack horror at the Cabot theatre in Beverly, Massachusetts.
His boy Ben Dreyfuss, 37, has now addressed social media accounts of his dad’s alleged outburst by saying on X: “Wow, just looked at my phone and learned about the disgusting outrageous behaviour of one of my relatives.”
He also joked: “Well, now you know why I refused to give him the password to his own twitter account for a decade lol.”
Ben added: “This will be my only statement on the matter. Thank you.”
Richard had Ben with his 75-year-old screenwriter ex-wife Jeramie Rain.
Video of the actor’s full remarks from Saturday has not been released, but attendees at the event have attacked him on social media.
One guest said on Facebook: “We walked out of his interview tonight along with hundred of others because of his racist homophobic misogynistic rant.”
An X user claimed her girlfriend’s parents attended Richard’s event and attached a screenshot of a text message from one of them that said: “Went off the rails talking about how Barbra Streisand is a genius but he didn’t listen to her because she is a woman and women shouldn’t have that power.
“Then started sharing his views on the me too movement and started down the road on how you shouldn’t be listening to some 10-year-old who says they want to be a boy instead of a girl.”
And another X user claimed Richard said at the weekend event “women shouldn’t have any power” and should stay “quiet” and “meek”.
They added: “When asked about the #MeToo movement he said ‘those people make me want to vomit’ and that he didn’t want to listen to eight-year-olds saying that they were born in the wrong body.”
The Cabot theatre has issued an apology for Richard’s “distressing” remarks, adding in an emailed statement to attendees: “We deeply regret that Mr Dreyfuss’s comments during the event were not in line with the values of inclusivity and respect that we uphold at the Cabot.
“We understand that his remarks were distressing and offense to many of our community members, and for that, we sincerely apologise.”
The theatre also told The Hollywood Reporter it was “aware of, and shares serious concerns following the recent event with Richard Dreyfuss”.
It added: “The views expressed by Mr Dreyfuss do not reflect the values of inclusivity and respect that we uphold as an organisation.
“We deeply regret the distress that this has caused to many of our patrons.”
Richard has not yet publicly addressed the controversy.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Renner battled “self-doubt” before he made his acting return.
The 53-year-old star was seriously injured in a snowplow accident in January 2023, and Jeremy feared he wouldn’t be able to perform “basic duties” while filming season three of ‘Mayor of Kingstown’.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “It was something unlike I really felt before … I was in a place of self-doubt.”
The Hollywood star wasn’t sure he would be able to fulfil his duties when he arrived on set.
Jeremy recalled thinking: “I don’t know if I’m physically capable of … because, you know, it’s 12 hours, 14 hours on set. Whether you’re doing stunts or not, it’s exhausting.”
Despite this, Jeremy found that he doesn’t have the same energy levels that he used to have.
The actor shared: “I fell asleep in the middle of a scene.”
Jeremy was actually told that he wouldn’t run again after his snowplow accident.
He recently told PEOPLE: “For me, it meant so much because to go from a wheelchair and limping around with the cane and [being] told you’re never going to walk right again and you’re never going to run again, it was pretty hopeful for me.”
The movie star remembers being hugely encouraged by his early progress.
Jeremy – who broke more than 30 bones in the accident – said: “You got something on your side. When you get hope, hope is a powerful ally. A lot of things help us build hope, and progress helps us build hope. That’s the easy one.
“Failures don’t feel like they do, but they also really fuel hope because you could get progress out of failures. You can’t really keep progressing without failing. You got to have both. You have to fail to succeed.”

The 38-year-old star split from Tom, 40, after it emerged that he had a months-long affair with Rachel Leviss, and Ariana has now pushed back against the idea that she should’ve moved on sooner.
She said on the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ reunion episode: “The only way I was ever going to get anywhere is to fully process and let myself feel it.

OHMYGOSSIP — Morgan Spurlock’s ex-wife Sara Bernstein and their eight-year-old son Kallen “will miss him forever”.
The director passed away on Thursday (23.05.24) at the age of 54 following a battle with cancer and it was subsequently revealed he and Sara had “amicably settled” everything in the months leading up to his death and now Sara has offered an emotional tribute to her ex and thanked fans for all their well wishes.
In a post on Instagram, Sara wrote: “Thank you for all the love and support the past few days. We so appreciate it.
“As Kallen said to me ‘Morgan was the best daddy ever and we will love and miss him forever and ever’. Lots of love to you all.”
Morgan was previously married to married to Priscilla Sommer from 1996 to 2003 and then Alex Jamieson – mother of his 27-year-old son Laken – from 2006 until 2011.
Alex also shared a tribute to her ex on Instagram alongside a montage of pictures from over the years. She wrote: “It’s impossible to put into words what you meant to your family, to your boys, friends, film community … to me. I’m just so glad we were friends in the end.
“Morgan was a generous, creative, dedicated human. He LOVED his friends and boys. When he got into something he dove in heart first, with his body and soul.”
She added: “Even when we weren’t getting along, we would come together to celebrate and laugh about our amazing boy and how he was growing up to be kind, funny, creative.
“I miss you dearly, friend. I didn’t know it would hurt so much. Rest now.”

The couple were rumoured to have tied the knot earlier this month with reports suggesting they married in a “low-key” ceremony, but are planning to hold a “bigger” celebration at some point later in the year and now the groom’s proud dad has opened up about the big day.
During an appearance on ‘The One Show’, Jon said of the couple: “They’re great. They’re absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be. It’s true.”

“A few months before, he said he would never propose while diving. There was a video we saw online and he said ‘I’d never do that because if you got too excited, you wouldn’t be able to breathe’, so I was like ‘Well, that’s a good point.’
“And I thought he wasn’t going to do it and then when I went under – it was actually an hour of diving – before he did it”.
But the ‘Stranger Things’ star was so excited and dropped the ring in the heat of the moment, which prompted her husband-to-be to do a heroic “swoop” to the seabed and grab it as she floundered and panicked that it had disappeared forever.
She added: “I was taking really deep breaths because I was so excited and then we floated to the top. He dropped the ring, well, I dropped the ring because I went to show him and it slowly slid off. I probably could’ve stopped it and then nothing was slow about this plummet. It plummeted so fast, so quickly. I really, truly, thought it was gone.
“I watched it fall to the bottom of the ocean. He saw it happen, which I’m so proud of him [for], he just threw himself so deep underwater and did this cinematic swoop and when he opened his hand, it was in there.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Renner is back doing stunt work, just over a year after he nearly died in a snowplough accident.
The 53-year-old actor – who suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries when he was crushed by the 14,000-pound vehicle in January 2023 – didn’t expect to be shooting action scenes again, but he’s got stuck in during filming of the upcoming third series of his Paramount+ TV show ‘The Mayor of Kingstown’ and expects to be fitter than ever in the coming months.
During an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, the host asked the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ actor if he was “back up to 100 per cent”, to which he replied: “I don’t know what that is. But I expect to be, like, 150 percent by maybe the end of the year.
“And doing stunts was, like, not on the docket for me, because I was barely kind of walking around. But, you know, I went up and just said, ”I’ll just try it’, and put on these tennis shoes, I go, ‘Let me try it.’ Muscle memory just kind of happened.”
Jeremy admitted he wasn’t “confident” in performing the stunts, but was pleased to have “got it done”.
He continued: “I wasn’t confident in it, by any means, but it happened. We got it done. I think that’s even what the clip we even brought is part of that sequence, which is great.”
‘The Hurt Locker’ star – who has Ava, 11, with ex-wife Sonni Pacheco – added performing the stunts was another sign he was “moving forward” from his accident.
He said: “It’s moving forward. And it’s always nice to get a little pat on the back of progress, right? And progress is great fuel to keep progressing.
“And my daughter, my family’s been number one in that fuel. And I hope, I’m sure that it’ll continue, because I think it’s perpetual.”
Reflecting on his near-death experience, Jeremy felt opening up about the accident had been “pretty cathartic”.
He explained: “I do share about it. I have shared some [things] about the recovery on social media and things like that.”

The 35-year-old actor has decided to leave Los Angeles after 15 years to return to his home city of Austin, Texas, after taking advice from Matthew McConaughey, who also relocated back to the state in 2020.
The ‘Anyone But You’ star told The Hollywood Reporter that the major benefit of “getting to this point in Hollywood is that I can now leave Hollywood.”
He added: “It’s like I’ve earned the ability to go back to my family…
“[Matthew was] like, ‘Hollywood is the Matrix, man. You plug in and it’s all fake world.’ He’s like, ‘Then I go to Austin, and I unplug. It’s all real. Those are my friends, that’s my family, my actions matter there.’

He explained: “The thing that makes me feel in conflict with some parts of this moment is that I like choosing when I’m out in front. And I’m more than happy to be on a press tour. I love it.
“I love going on a Jimmy Fallon — you walk out, you sign autographs, you do the whole thing.
“[I am uncomfortable with] this idea that you’re a function here.
“Someone will go, ‘Hey, friend, want to come to this guy’s house? The 43-year-old heiress has Phoenix, 16 months as well as four-month-old daughter London with husband Carter Reum, 43, and revealed that she is going to hold off on giving them devices in the hopes that they will stay away from social media.
She told the WSJ: “I hope that they are nerds like their dad and don’t want anything to do with that. I’m going to try to not have them have a phone for a while.

The 45-year-old actress hosted the 49th annual Gracie Awards – which honours the achievements of women in the media – over the weekend and explained that she still “loves” being in the industry more than 30 years after she started her career.
She told UsWeekly: “I’m a true believer of using your shared experiences to uplift and empower; it’s [great] to see other women who have gone through some of the things that you have gone through in this industry.
“We love it, otherwise we wouldn’t stay in it. But you know, there are some challenges. And being here shows us that, ‘No, don’t give up.
“Fight. Use your voice, and, you know, progress can be made.’ And that’s what this has been about. That’s what it’s about. So important.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Twitches’ star shot to fame alongside her twin sister in the 1990s when they were cast in the hit Nickelodeon sitcom ‘Sister, Sister’ but when asked whether a reboot was on the cards, confirmed that it would not be happening.
She said: “It’s not happening. back tells me, my knees tell me, but I’m grateful. I’m still here.”
But Tamera – who was presented with the Trailblazer Award at the event for her work promoting women’s health and wellness – enjoyed a reunion with her on-screen adoptive mother Jackée Harry just before the awards and noted how close they still all these years after the series wrapped.
She said: “She’s always been there for pivotal moments in my life. So, the fact that she helped me get that award, it’s just love.
“And I texted her this morning. She was like, ‘I just love you to buckets.’ She was like, ‘100 percent.’ I can’t believe she’s using, like, emojis. It’s just, you know, [it’s] weird. But she’s amazing. She’s always been a part of my sister and I’s life. And she’s always been our cheerleader. So, it’s wonderful.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloé Kardashian was “relieved” to learn Tristan Thompson was moving to Cleveland.
The 39-year-old star has children True, six, and Tatum, 22 months, with the basketball player and she admitted she was looking forward to getting her house back to herself when the NBA star leaves Los Angeles to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
During the season five premiere of ‘The Kardashians’, Khloe – who moved into her current abode in 2021 – said: “The move in and all of these changes was still just so overwhelming for me.
“Now that he’s going to Cleveland, I can imagine I’ll just feel a relief. I don’t care who it is, I need space.”
Later in the episode, Tristan joked he should connect his house to Khloé’s, something the beauty icon didn’t appreciate, and bit back, “Come on, you know where I stand”.
Khloé ranted she “hates” how often she needs to be “on guard” with her former partner.
She said: “Sometimes I hate how much I have to think and be on guard to not do anything that might ever give a glimmer that there’s hope.
“They just don’t leave even when you ask them to. They just keep staying!”
Khloe and Tristan’s on/off relationship has been blighted by his cheating, including sharing a kiss with Jordyn Woods and fathering a child with Maralee Nichols while a surrogate was pregnant with Tatum, and the reality star admitted she needs some time and space to “heal”.
She said: “I feel like the past couple years have been — I don’t know if traumatic is too big of a word — but I feel like the past couple years, or maybe the past decade, has really been a very heavy time in my life, and I don’t necessarily get a lot of time to just like, heal.”
Khloé admitted Tristan’s departure would be “bittersweet”, but emphasised she was looking forward to putting her “energy into things that make [her] happy” while he was away.
She said: “I’m not doing anything special. I’m not doing anything different.
“But I just want to be in the moment more, I want to put my energy into things that make me happy.”
