OHMYGOSSIP — Nikki Reed doesn’t have “a lot of time for [herself] right now”.
The 36-year-old actress – who has Bodhi, six, and an 11-month-old son with Ian Somerhalder – has revealed that she struggles to balance motherhood with the challenge of working on her farm.
Speaking to Us Weekly, Nikki shared: “I start my days at 5am and I usually finish them around midnight.”
Nikki is doing the best she can to find a healthy balance in her life.
The actress – who has been married to Ian since 2015 – explained: “I’m definitely in the sleep-deprived-and-juggling-and-wearing-many-hats stage of motherhood.
“I think last night I slept maybe two and a half hours. I don’t have a way to track that, but the amount of times I looked at the clock, I think that would probably be it. So that’s my phase right now.”
Despite this, Nikki is determined to “embrace” the moment she’s in.
She said: “I’m not doing that balancing thing well right now, and that’s OK. That’s just part of it. I have to just embrace that.”
Meanwhile, Ian previously revealed that he “stepped away from acting” in order to spend more time at home.
The 45-year-old star – who played Damon Salvatore in ‘The Vampire Diaries’ – has been able to spend more time with his family on their farm since he stepped away from Hollywood.

Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss felt ‘drained’ by extroverted public persona

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss was often “drained” by his “extroverted” public persona.
The late DJ took his own life aged 40 in December 2022, and his widow Allison Holker has admitted there were two sides to the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ star, which impacted his mental health as he found himself needing to “recharge his battery” after putting on a show for people.
Speaking to ‘The Squeeze’ podcast, she said: “So, Stephen. It’s interesting. I knew him as Stephen. A lot of people knew him as ‘tWitch.’ Very two different humans.
“He wore this character of ‘tWitch,’ and it did become a part of who he was but that extroverted personality was not natural for him.
“So, when he would go out as ‘tWitch’ and make sure he’s spreading all this love and joy and positivity and be dancing all the time for people – an entertainer, and such – it would drain his energy.
“And he would have to come home and he would always tell me … our home was his safe place. So, he’d come home and have to really recharge his battery.”
For Boss, recharging meant getting into “a darker space”, while he also tried to find other ways to “help himself”.
She explained: “When you’re saying recharge your battery that also comes with the state of depression because you get really low.
“And you had to let him have that space to really kind of find himself in a darker space, let him live in that. He would always find his way out, though.
“So, a lot of the things that Stephen and I would talk about would be these tools in which he was really trying to help himself, like, ‘I’m reading these self-help books. I’m listening to podcasts. I’m talking to friends. I’m trying to connect with people.’
“And so I always thought that though you’re dealing with this low side of you that you don’t let other people see, it seemed like he was really treating it.”
Allison – who has chidlren Weslie, 16, Maddox, and Zaia, four, from her marriage to Boss – noted her dancer husband was always straightforward with her about his struggles, but she now accepts taht he might have needed another source of support.
She said: “At the end of the day, I think there was maybe extra help he needed that I was unaware of at the time – talking to a therapist, maybe some medication as well.
“But I was unaware. I think he also was, ’cause I think he also thought he was taking care of it because he’d be like, ‘I’m low. Give me some time to build it back up.'”

Bebe Rexha reveals daily struggles with PCOS and ‘painful’ symptoms

OHMYGOSSIP — Bebe Rexha has been struggling with painful cysts, acne and weight gain in her battle with PCOS.
The 34-year-old singer revealed last year she had been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and now she has opened up about her symptoms to her followers on social media.
Asked about the condition on TikTok, she recalled the first sign being “super irregular” periods, including once having her period for 20 days.
She also started to notice weight gain after putting on “a lot in four years”, and now she has to count calories to manage her daily food intake.
The ‘I’m A Mess’ hitmaker is currently consuming 1,400 calories a day, and burning around 700 through workouts.
She added: “My doctor once told me that a woman with PCOS can eat a bowl of blueberries and it would be equivalent to like a normal person eating a whole pie of pizza.”
She has also been suffering from “bad cysts” and even had to go hospital because she was suffering so badly.
She said: “Two weeks ago I was in Urgent Care. I was in so much pain. My doctor thought it was an appendicitis, it was so bad.
“It was actually a cyst that had burst. Tylenol didn’t work, Advil didn’t work. I was sick to my stomach the pain was so bad.”
Thankfully, a heating bad helped sooth the pain, but there have been other symptoms, including acne and being bloated.
She explained: “I will get super bloated. That’s one thing that sucks.”
In May 2023, Bebe first opened up about her hormone imbalance, and reflected on her experience.
Speaking to Gayle King on her SiriusXM show, she said: “I definitely struggle with my weight, and I struggle with the way that I look, and it’s been tough for me.
“I just found out recently that I have PCOS, and a lot of women have it. And a lot of women have it and don’t know.
“It’s tough. I think for me, I’ve been definitely struggling with my weight, and I’ve been struggling with food forever.”

King Charles to take part in Trooping the Colour

OHMYGOSSIP — King Charles will take part in Trooping the Colour amid his cancer treatment.
The 75-year-old monarch was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, but he’s expected to inspect soldiers from a carriage during the ceremony on June 15.
Charles – who recently returned to public-facing duties – will conduct the review seated in an Ascot landau carriage, rather than on horseback.
The monarch has carried out a series of public engagements over recent weeks, even though he is still receiving treatment for cancer.
Elsewhere, Catherine, Princess of Wales will miss next month’s Colonel’s Review, as she continues her own recovery from cancer.
The 42-year-old princess revealed in March that she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy and she has not taken part in public engagements since then.
The ceremonial military event is a dress rehearsal for the Trooping the Colour and is set to take place in London on June 8.
At the moment, it remains unclear as to whether the princess will attend Trooping the Colour alongside other members of the royal family.
Buckingham Palace announced in February that Charles had been diagnosed with cancer.
At the time, it was revealed that the monarch felt “positive” about his treatment and that he was keen to return to public duties as soon as possible.
The statement read: “During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.
“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties. Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual.
“The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure.
“He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible.
“His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.”

Nicole Brown Simpson’s sister was ‘sad and confused’ after OJ Simpson death

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Brown Simpson’s sister admits O.J. Simpson’s death was “sad and confusing”.
Dominique Brown, 59, was left devastated when her sibling was killed aged 35 outside her Los Angeles home in 1994, with her late ex-husband OJ Simpson arrested and charged with her murder, before being acquitted in court.
Simpson lost his battle with cancer last month aged 76, and Dominique told Extra: “When O.J. died it was complicated and it was sad and confusing because this could be the close of a chapter, the end of the chapter of 30 years of having a lot of turmoil in our lives, but it was also a 50-year relationship with him, so it was very sad.
“Plus, I maintain a relationship with the children and, simply put, they had lost both of their parents at that point.”
On 12 June, 1994, Nicole, 35, and her waiter friend Ron Goldman, 25, were found stabbed to death in the courtyard of her Brentwood, Los Angeles, town house.
Days after the murders, Simpson led police on a now-infamous car chase while a passenger in a white Ford Bronco driven by his friend Al Cowlings, holding a gun to his head.
He was eventually arrested and charged with Nicole and Ron’s murders, but was acquitted after what was dubbed the ‘The Trial of the Century’.
But in 1997, Simpson was deemed liable for the deaths in a civil lawsuit brought by the families of Nicole and Ron.
Dominique recently recalled how, in the devastating wake of Nicole’s murder, she threw herself into shielding her late sister’s children from pain and the media circus that erupted.
She told People magazine: “I knew that was the role I was supposed to undertake. There was [my sister] Denise’s son, my son, Sydney and Justin.
“We played together, ate together, went to the beach together – everything together. It was to help them heal and do things that were fun.
“The things that were being said, they didn’t need to be exposed to any of that.”

The 43-year-old star – who has been sober for 15 years – has spoken candidly about her past struggles with addiction, and recently underwent surgery on her nose to repair damage caused by drug abuse.
Reflecting on the extent of her issues in an interview with ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’, she said: “I actually OD’d at one point and got back up and took another line of cocaine straight away.”
She described the drug as her “best friend”, and explained despite not taking it “every day”, she wouldn’t be able to “stop”.
She added: “I think cocaine became my crutch, it was my best friend, it gave the support I needed, when I needed it.
“I didn’t do it everyday, I was more of a binger – once I started I couldn’t stop.
“And then I could go months without it. It just became my best friend because everyone was using me really.”
She claimed her mother was the first person to give her drugs when she was a teenager, before rising to fame in Atomic Kitten.
She said: “I started drugs when I was 14, before I was famous. My first drug I took was with my mum.
“I adore my mum and I love my mum, but we’ve had our ups and downs and my mum wasn’t really a mum.
“She told me it was sherbet and it was speed and I thought that was normal!”
Despite their issues in the past, Kerry has insisted she “can’t sit with regret and hatred” over what they’ve been through.
She explained: “I have to accept people who there are. My mum is drug free.
“But for a very long time I lived in a pity party, saying ‘poor me, the world owes me, it’s everyone’s fault but mine’.
“But I have to hold my hands up and take responsibility, let it go otherwise it’s like being in a rocking chair going back and forth.”

I can barely believe I’m 60, says Lenny Kravitz

OHMYGOSSIP — Lenny Kravitz can “barely believe” he’s 60.
The music star celebrated his landmark birthday on May 26 and Lenny admits that he’s still loving life as much as ever.
He told the Guardian newspaper: “I can barely believe it myself. But it’s beautiful.”
Lenny also revealed the secrets to his youthful-looking appearance.
He said: “It’s a combination of genes, self-care, hard work and discipline.”
Despite this, Lenny has “never thought” that he’s particularly handsome.
The ‘Fly Away’ hitmaker shared: “I never thought that and still don’t think that.”
Asked if that’s really how he feels, Lenny replied: “I’m telling you the truth. I have grown to accept myself and be comfortable with myself, but I have never been one to look in a mirror and go: ‘Ooh yeah, look at that! You’re so beautiful.’ And especially not back then, as a teen. Absolutely not.”
Lenny follows a strict workout regime, even though he has a packed work schedule.
The singer said: “Take last night. I worked all day, interviews, rehearsing into the night, get home at 11pm. I need to eat something. Now it’s 1am. I didn’t get my workout. So I went to the gym and I did a 90-minute workout at 2am. I don’t want to be in the gym at 2am, but I know that I must.”
Asked why he feels the need to workout, Lenny explained: “Because it’s part of my discipline – it’s about body, mind and spirit. I want all of those three elements aligned.
“If my body’s in shape and my spirit and mind are not, then it’s just something nice to look at or to boast about. Who cares? For me, all of it has to be aligned. And I have to do the work it takes to have all of those in alignment so my being can be at its maximum.”

Mamie Laverock ‘doing well’ after being put on life support

OHMYGOSSIP — Mamie Laverock is “doing well” after being put on life support following a freak accident that saw her plummet five stories from a balcony.
The 19-year-old actress, famed for starring in the long-running US TV series ‘When Calls the Heart’, suffered a “medical emergency” on 11 May, according to a GoFundMe page aiming to raised money for her medical treatment – but her family have now added a hopeful update to the page.
Her parents Rob and Nicole Compton said: Mamie is now “out of her big surgeries”, adding she is “doing well”.
They also told fans and donors to the fund: “It’s impossible for us to be happier. Thank you all for your support.”
Rob and Nicole had said they expected Mamie’s hospitalisation to last “upwards of a month or more”, and so far their GoFundMe campaign has raised more than $32,000 for their daughter’s medical bills.
The couple said in their original GoFundMe post Mamie’s mum was “able to get there in time to save her life” after the actress’ balcony fall, and transported her to a local hospital.
Mamie was later transferred to a facility in Vancouver, where her condition was labelled “unclear” but showed “signs of improvement”.
Her family said: “On Saturday May 11th, Nicole travelled to Winnipeg to help Mamie, who was having a medical emergency.
“Nicole was able to get there in time to save her life. Then got her to a hospital in Winnipeg.
“Mamie has since been transferred to Hospital here in Vancouver. Her recovery is unclear at this time but she is alive and is showing signs of improvement.
“We are trying to go every day to support her.
“Any contributions would help us be by her side . But this could be upwards of a month or more.
“We will share all the updates we can. Thank you for all your well wishes.”

Vanderpump Rules ‘will return for another season’

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Vanderpump Rules’ is poised to return for another season.
Showrunner Alex Baskin has dismissed speculation that the reality TV series won’t return for a 12th season, after Tom Sandoval and Rachel Leviss’ cheating scandal in 2023.
Speaking after the three-part reunion shows, Alex told The Hollywood Reporter: “Obviously there’s been a lot of speculation. People have written the show’s final chapter many times, and the show has continued. So just because it’s a reflective moment that clearly marks the end of one chapter does not necessarily mean that it is the end of the show.”
Alex insisted that ‘Vanderpump Rules’ still has room to grow and develop.
He explained: “You see there is still a lot of fertile ground and developments in their lives, so I think it would be very premature that just because we really close the book on Scandoval in a lot of ways, because it was this moment that sort of blew up everything and that extended into the next season, does not mean necessarily that the show is over.”
Meanwhile, Tom recently admitted that he wears his 2023 cheating scandal as a “badge of shame”.
The reality star also apologised to Ariana Madix, his ex-girlfriend, for cheating on her with Rachel.
He said on the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ reunion episode: “I know you don’t want to be around me. Whatever our relationship was the good, the bad – whatever you did, whatever I did – it doesn’t matter. You didn’t deserve that. And I’m really sorry, from the bottom of my heart.”
Tom still has deep regrets about his months-long affair.
He said: “Ariana, I regret it every day. I wear it as a badge of shame. I did the thing that I said I would never do and I did it.”

Adria Arjona tried to quit Good Omens due to acting nerves

OHMYGOSSIP — Adria Arjona tried to quit ‘Good Omens’ because of her acting nerves.
The 33-year-old actress played the witch Anathema in the first season of the Amazon Prime show – which adapts authors Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s 1990 book of the same name – but she attempted to leave the project because she found it to be “too much pressure”.
During an interview with InStyle, Adria said: “I was so scared. And it was the first role that was ever just offered to me, which is so bizarre.
“I was at a point in my career that nothing should have been offered to me. And [Neil] was like, ‘No, it’s you. I see you and I only see you in this role.’ And I was like, ‘How the hell do you even know who I am?’
“And I think it was the first time that I felt really insecure about my take on a character because I didn’t earn it. Usually you go out, you audition, you work on it, and the director’s like, ‘Oh, I like her take on it, so I’m going to hire her.’
“And this was the first time that they hadn’t seen me. So I went in really scared and really insecure, and Neil just took me under his wing and was like, ‘You’re going to be fine.’”
Despite her initial struggle, Adria eventually settled into the role.
In fact, Adria ultimately leaned on the “quirkiness” of the character for her part in ‘Hit Man’.
The actress – who stars alongside Glen Powell in ‘Hit Man’ – explained: “I’ve just really liked the characters that I’ve been able to play. Anathema is still probably one of my favourite characters, and she’s similar to Madison.
“I drew a lot from her in certain ways. Just her quirkiness that comes out sometimes. It’s very Anathema.”

Jennifer Aniston: I’m a terrible auditioner

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Aniston thinks she’s a “terrible auditioner”.
The 55-year-old actress has starred in a number of well-known movies and TV shows, such as ‘Friends’ and ‘We’re the Millers’, over the years – but Jennifer feels she doesn’t audition well because she struggles to find immediate chemistry with a stranger.
Appearing on The Hollywood Reporter’s ‘Drama Actress Roundtable’ – which also featured Nicole Kidman, Jodie Foster, Sofia Vegara, Brie Larson, Naomi Watts and Anna Sawai – Jennifer said: “When you’re in an audition room, you’re already at a disadvantage. Maybe you’d have chemistry with this person if you were in a different environment, and not, like, ‘Create chemistry. Ready? Go!’
“And I’m a terrible auditioner, always was. I waitressed forever before I could finally get something, which was a Bob’s Big Boy commercial.”
The actresses discussed Anne Hathaway’s recent confession that she was once asked to kiss ten men as part of a chemistry test for a film role.
Nicole joked: “To be excited to make out with someone? I think maybe secretly I’ve been excited.”
However, Jennifer strongly disagreed, insisting she would “never” take part in an audition like that.
The Hollywood star said: “I haven’t been told you’re going to have to lay down and [get intimate with an actor for a chemistry test], and if asked, I would never.”
Jennifer explained that the situation would have been “very uncomfortable” for “nervous auditioners”.
The actress – who is, perhaps, best known for playing Rachel Green in ‘Friends’ – said: “So, if you’re a nervous auditioner to begin with, to then say, ‘Now let’s have you make out with a complete stranger,’ it’s very uncomfortable.”

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs ‘missed twin daughters’ prom’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs reportedly missed his twin daughters’ prom.
The embattled rapper-turned music executive, 54, who is facing a string of sexual assault cases, is said to have been in Florida since federal agents raided his Miami and Los Angeles mansions in March, and was apparently absent when his twin daughters Jessie and D’Lila, 17, attended their high school milestone earlier this month.
According to TMZ, Diddy has been “missing some key milestones for his kids as his legal troubles mount”.
The outlet said he would also be missing for the latest one, involving his 17-year-old daughter Chance, on Thursday. (30.05.24.)
It added: “Sources with direct knowledge say Chance is set to put on her cap and gown Thursday for her graduation from Sierra Canyon School in the LA area – and while we’re told other family members are flying in for the ceremony, her dad won’t be present.”
Combs’ twin daughters put on matching black dresses and posted celebratory snaps on Instagram to mark their prom.
TMZ stressed the scandal-hit performer has been a “pretty involved parent with his kids over the years – especially for the girls, who were actually with him when the raids went down back in March”.
It also stated federal authorities have not restricted his travel “in any way shape or form”.
TMZ said about Combs’ situation: “It’s frankly a precarious time, and it sounds like he’s trying to avoid roping his kids into the drama.”
Combs was hit by bombshell allegations in November 2023 when Combs’ long-term former girlfriend Cassie Ventura, 27, accused him of rape, physical violence and more in a lawsuit.
The former couple settled the following day for an undisclosed amount.
Combs then apologised in a video posted online earlier this month when hotel surveillance footage from March 2016 surfaced, showing him kicking, dragging and throwing an object at the singer.
He is being sued by multiple women for sexual assault, and has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing via his lawyer.
Combs’ son King, 26, is also facing a lawsuit, with a woman accusing him of sexually assaulting her on a yacht in 2022.
Along with daughters Jessie and D’Lila, the rapper had King with Kim Porter, who was killed by pneumonia aged 47 in 2018.
He also raised her son Quincy from her previous romance with Al B. Sure!, 55, and co-parents son Justin, 30, daughter Chance and 19-month-old daughter Love, who he had with his exes Misa Hylton, Sarah Chapman and Dana Tran, respectively.

Matt Rife axes comedy shows after being hit by ‘unexpected medical emergency’

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Rife axed his comedy shows at Indiana University after he was stricken by an “unexpected medical emergency”.
The 28-year-old comedian, who has been touring non-stop on a bus with his stage crew and friends since 2023, told fans he had “never experienced” anything like the health scare in an apology posted to his Instagram Stories.
He said: “I’m so f****** sorry, but due to a last minute medical emergency I have to reschedule our shows tonight (again.)
“I’ve been doing 40-plus shows a month for a year and half and never had to do something like this.
“I’m so sorry, I hope you understand and I love you so much.”
Matt’s cancellation, posted on Wednesday (29.05.24), comes after he opened up on X about the toll touring has taken on him.
He told his followers: “Sometimes I feel 98 years old and then I remember I sleep maybe 14 hours a week if I’m lucky so I am quite literally a corpse.”
An Instagram post from the Indiana University Auditorium, where his now-cancelled shows were set to take place, reassured fans on Wednesday their payments “will be refunded in full and will be reflected within 30 days”.
Some fans hit out at Matt for cancelling, with one fuming they had already made a three-hour drive to the show before hearing it had been dropped.
Others sent well-wishes to Matt.
Matt made headlines last year after he made a joke about domestic violence in his Netflix special ‘Natural Selection’.
He joked he was once seated at a restaurant in Baltimore by a hostess who had a black eye, adding: “This is the face of the company? This is who you have greeting people?”
Matt then claimed his friend suggested the woman should be put in the kitchen where “nobody has to see her face”, and said he replied: “Yeah, but I feel like if she could cook, she wouldn’t have that black eye.”
The comic hit back at the criticism over the joke by posting a fake apology on his Instagram Story that said: “If you’ve ever been offended by a joke I’ve told – here’s a link to my official apology” – with a link to helmets for people with special needs.

Lenny Kravitz reveals why he’s been celibate for nine years

OHMYGOSSIP — Lenny Kravitz has been celibate for nine years.
The ‘American Woman’ rocker, 60, renowned for his womanising and whose exes include his former wife Lisa Bonet, 56, says his choice is “spiritual” as he waits for the right woman – and admitted he has become so set in his ways he may struggle to have a relationship today.
He told The Guardian about not having been in a “serious relationship” for nine years: “It’s a spiritual thing. I have become very set in my ways, in the way I live.”
Lenny also spoke about a passage in his autobiography when he revealed he was disgusted by overhearing his father on the phone talking to a woman he realised was his mistress.
When he told his NBC TV producer dad Sy Kravitz he was devastated by the conversation, his father told him he would end up doing the same thing when he grew up.
Lenny said: “He became right. After the marriage (to Lisa Bonet), I became more like him. I was becoming a player.
“I didn’t like it. I didn’t want to be that guy. So I had to tackle that and it took years.”
When asked how he achieved the adjustment, he said: “By taking responsibility. Discipline. Not letting my own desires take over.”
Lenny also told how he still loves his actress ex Lisa, who he married in 1987 before they divorced six years later.
He said: “The love doesn’t leave you, but it has to find a new way to funnel itself into a new life. We consciously wanted to do that.”
And he fondly remembered the time he and ‘Angel Heart’ actress Lisa had their daughter Zoë, now 35, in 1988.
He said: “We were quite the family. We had our own groove, expression, fashion.
“It was a beautiful time. The world Zoë’s mom and I were creating, our family, it was about peace, love and spirit.”
