OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne’s death investigation has reportedly sparked raids on the homes of two hotel employees and a “friend” of the tragic singer.
The 31-year-old former One Direction star fell to his death on 16 October from the balcony of his room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, and it is now said police investigating his shock passing in Argentina have stepped up their probe into his passing.
Law enforcement sources have told TMZ raids on two hotel workers were carried out on Tuesday (05.11.24) night, with the outlet also claiming lockers of the staffers at the hotel where Liam died were also searched.
Police are said to believe the employees had been in contact with the sinfer before he plunged 45ft to his death.
According to TMZ, a “friend” of Liam’s was identified by cops who looked at messages on his phone.
Police last month raided the CasaSur and seized electronic and paper records.
A post-mortem in the wake of Liam’s death said he was killed by head injuries suffered during his fall.
Liam had travelled to Argentina last month for his former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan’s solo concert, and his influencer girlfriend Kate Cassidy, 25, had been with him on the trip – but left to go back to her home in America 48 hours before he was found dead.
She said in a tribute after his balcony fall: “Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way. I have been at a complete loss.
“Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you’ll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private.
“Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely.

“I’m always going to make music, I’m always going to go on stage, I’m always going to do pop stuff, I pinky promise. But I don’t think doing it at the rate I’ve been doing it for the past 10 years is where I see the next 10 years.”
The 31-year-old pop megastar’s entertainment career began when she was just 15 in the Broadway musical ’13’ in 2008.
The former child star added: “Reconnecting with this part of myself who started in musical theatre, and who loves comedy, and it heals me to do that — finding roles to use these parts of myself and put them in little homes and characters and bits and voices and songs.
“Whatever makes sense, or whatever roles we see fit, or where I could really do a good job or honour the material, I would really love to. I think it’s a lot better for me. I’m getting emotional.”
Ariana – who shot to fame portraying Cat Valentine in the’ Nickelodeon’ series ‘Victorious’ from 2010 until 2013 – recently admitted she understands the controversy surrounding her ‘Wicked’ casting because of her lack of acting experience.
Reflecting on her role during an appearance on the ‘Sentimental Man’ podcast, she said: “This is something I loved so much about auditioning for ‘Wicked’. It has to be earned.
“Anything on this scale, being a part of anything, it’s not just given because they know for one thing. So, it’s fun to kind of have the challenge of re-framing people’s perception and doing the work to earn your way back into the other spaces.”
The ‘Thank U, Next’ hitmaker added she was somewhat wary about the potential backlash to her casting as The Good Witch, though emphasised that fans hadn’t seen the extensive training she underwent to prepare for the role.
She said: “I felt a little bit of the initial nervousness or the sort of preconceived notions about what I might be able to deliver or not deliver, or why I would be wrong or whatever.”
Even so, she knew that her pop career would have actively worked against her for more cynical observers.
She explained: “Going off of ‘Side to Side’, I probably would’ve said the same thing.
“I probably would’ve said, ‘Why the f***? Kill me. I’ve waited 20 years for this. Kill me.’ I would’ve said that — as a fan from the outside knowing of only ‘7 Rings’, probably — I’d say, ‘Well, that’s b******’ So, you know, I get it.”

Halle Bailey ‘extremely upset’ that DDG showed their son on a live stream without her consent

OHMYGOSSIP — Halle Bailey is “extremely upset” that her ex-boyfriend showed their son on a livestream.
The 24-year-old actress has son Halo, 23 months, with rapper DDG and she was left furious that he had shown the little one to “millions of people” on a live Twitch broadcast without her consent.
She wrote on X: “I wasn’t told or notified and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. I am his mother and protector and saddened that I wasn’t notified especially when i am out of town. (sic)”
Last month, the former couple revealed that even though it was “not easy”, they had decided to call it quits.
DDG wrote on Instagram: “After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared. Despite the change in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true.”
The ‘Little Mermaid’ star is yet to acknowledge the split publicly, but DDG, 26, concluded his statement by noting that he and Halle intend to “co-parent” their little one going forward as he asked fans to respect their “understanding and support” at during this time.
He said: “As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co- parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared. As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support.

Halle doesn’t often comment on her private life and had even given birth several weeks before she revealed it to the world.
At the time, she explained: “There was no way in hell I was going to share the biggest joy of my world with anyone. Halo was my gift. He is the greatest blessing, and I had no obligation to expose him, me, or my family to that.”
