Jonathan van Ness hits back at ‘rage’ claims

OHMYGOSSIP — Jonathan Van Ness has hit back at claims they had “rage issues” on the set of ‘Queer Eye’.
The 37-year-old reality TV star – who is non-binary but uses all pronouns – was blasted as a “monster” in a Rolling Stone profile in March but Jonathan insists the report “isn’t really based in reality”.
Speaking on the ‘Table Manners With Jessie And Lennie Ware’ podcast, Jonathan said: “There was this article that was written about ‘Queer Eye’ and myself in March, but our whole ‘Queer Eye’ family had first learned about this article in December.
“I went from this bankruptcy to then, oh, there’s someone who’s going to write an investigative takedown, like exposé piece about you that isn’t really based in reality, but can certainly have a lot of things taken out of context to like make you look as bad as possible.
“So from January to March, I was just walking on eggshells, being like, when is this going to happen? And then it did finally happen.”
Jonathan said the article made them reevaluate where they were getting validation from.
Van Ness explained: “One thing it taught me was that I had been getting so much self-esteem from social and my job that I didn’t really think that I did get so much self-esteem from it
“I think a lot of people were like looking for a reason to hate me or like looking for a reason to be like, ‘See, I always knew that they were fake and this is the proof’.
“My family was so supportive, and my husband, and my team, but I didn’t even get on social media to look at my phone for like three weeks and anytime I tried to dip my toe in, I would immediately see something that was so intensely hurtful.
‘I think people forget no matter how famous you are you’re still a person.”
However, while Jonathan insisted the article was “overwhelmingly untrue” and allegedly done “in bad faith,” they admitted there were times when they “could have been better”.
They added that much of the information was “taken out of context” to make them look “as bad as possible”.

Clint Eastwood walked pregnant daughter Morgan down the aisle

OHMYGOSSIP — Clint Eastwood walked his pregnant daughter Morgan Eastwood down the aisle at her wedding earlier this month.
Morgan, 27, tied the knot with her fiance Tanner Koopmans at Clint’s Mission Ranch in Carmel-By-The-Sea, California on June 15 and it’s been revealed the doting dad, 94, walked his daughter down the aisle on her big day.
According to DailyMail.com, the ceremony was attended by around 130 guests with all of Morgan’s seven siblings in attendance – including her elder half-brother Scott Eastwood, 38 and half-sister Francesca Eastwood, 30 – and they were all treated to a feast of filet mignon, halibut and butternut squash ravioli, and a cookie bar and vanilla wedding cake.
Clint is father to eight children from relationships with six women. Morgan is his only child with ex-wife Dina Eastwood.
Morgan got engaged to Tanner in June 2023, and she previously admitted she had wanted to elope but her husband-to-be had his heart set on a big family celebration.
She told People: “I initially wanted to elope, but my husband wanted a bigger celebration. I feel like our wedding was the perfect in-between because it was as intimate as it could be (with a huge family like mine), but still lively.
“It was just immediate family and their partners, close family friends and best friends we’ve known our whole lives growing up in Carmel.”
She added: “My husband and I didn’t feel pressure to follow any typical wedding traditions. We didn’t really have any rules when it came to attire, and just wanted guests to wear whatever felt most comfortable.”
The wedding venue was bought by Clint back in 1986 to save the history property from being turned into condominiums. It cemented his love for the town where he served as Mayor from 1986 to 1988.

Stellan Skarsgard didn’t deliberately raise sons as actors

OHMYGOSSIP — Stellan Skarsgard didn’t deliberately raise his four sons to be actors.
The 73-year-old ‘Mamma Mia!’ star is father to eight children from two marriages and four of his sons – Alexander, Gustaf, Bill and Valter – have all followed him into the business but Stellan is adamant he didn’t set out to create a family acting dynasty.
He told the Guardian newspaper: “I didn’t care what they became when they grew up, they could do anything. But obviously they saw that I had fun doing the acting stuff, so they became actors.
“They’re all very different. I am amazed how different they can be from each other.”
He went on to insist their isn’t any jealously between his actor sons as they compete for roles: “There’s a certain competition between my sons, but not in the sense that they don’t appreciate each other’s success or have any grudge against each other.”
His latest movie project is a crime thriller called ‘What Remains’ which was written by his wife Megan Everett-Skarsgard – mother of his two youngest sons – and co-stars his 43-year-old son Gustaf from his previous marriage to My Skarsgard – and Stellan admits he usually stays clear of family projects but he couldn’t resist this one.
He added to the outlet: “I couldn’t not be involved, because it was in my home. My wife was writing it and she was tearing her hair out all the time.
“I don’t usually mix my private life with my professional life. You can get very tied up, and eventually it starts conflicts that you can’t handle. But I couldn’t say no to working with that dark material, and with Gustaf.”
He added of Gustaf’s performance: “I’m full of happiness watching him work because he’s so good. I don’t see him suffering, I know he enjoys it.”

Derek Hough found it ‘difficult’ to watch Celine Dion documentary

OHMYGOSSIP — Derek Hough found it difficult to watch the ‘I Am: Celine Dion’ documentary.
The 39-year-old professional dancer watched the show with his wife Hayley Erbert, 29, but admitted it was hard to see Celine’s battle with Stiff Person Syndrome, particularly her seizures, as it reminded him of Hayley’s health issues last year when she suffered a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel and required an emergency craniectomy.
He shared a video on Instagram of the couple meeting Celine and wrote: “Watched Celine Dion’s new documentary, ‘I Am Celine’, last night.
“We were lucky enough to meet her a couple of years ago, even sing and dance with her a little. Haha
“She’s a firecracker, we were so nervous meeting the queen. Especially Hayley who is a diehard fan.
“The documentary was incredibly powerful, showing Celine’s struggles with SPS but also her quirky and fun side.
“A very difficult scene was seeing one of Celine’s SPS seizures play out in real time. It was so hard to watch seeing her in pain like that. It also reminded me of Hayley’s seizure on the side of the stage a few months ago. I could barely re-watch.
“Celine is an absolute legend, with a unique and one in a billion voice. We’re so blessed to witness her talent in our lifetime. I pray she heals and returns to the stage she loves so much.”
Celine, 56, announced in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome.
SPS is a rare, chronic neurological disorder that causes muscle stiffness and painful muscle spasms.
Irene Taylor, director of the new documentary, recently spoke about the decision to include footage of Celine’s seizures in the show.
She told the New York Times newspaper: “I could just see this stiffness that was not like the flowing, lithe dancer that I had been filming for several months doing her physical therapy. Within a couple of minutes, she was moaning in pain.
“I wanted to know if she was breathing, because she was moaning and then she stopped. I put the microphone, which was at the end of a pole you can discreetly put closer to your subject, underneath the table. I couldn’t hear her breathing.
“I was very panicked. I was looking around the room, and I saw that her therapist called for her head of security. Her bodyguard immediately came into the room. I could see right away these two men were there to take care of her and they were trained to do it.
“Probably within about three minutes, once this human response to want to be helpful and drop everything subsided, Nick [Midwig, the film’s director of photography] and I eased into filming everything as it happened. It was very uncomfortable. I’ve never been in a situation with a camera that has been that touch and go.”

Jared Padalecki blasts CW after Walker cancellation

OHMYGOSSIP — Jared Padalecki has blasted The CW after ‘Walker’s cancellation.
The 41-year-old actor has worked with the network for over 20 years on shows including ‘Gilmore Girls’ and ‘Supernatural’ but admitted he is disappointed that it appears to be moving away from scripted television to “really easy, cheap content”.
He told Variety: “I feel like The CW that I was a part of last year is not The CW that I was a part of under [former chairman and CEO] Mark Pedowitz for that entire, almost 20-year stretch. They’re just changing the network around, where it’s not really going to be a TV network as much as it’s going to be, ‘Here’s something fun for an hour that you’ll never watch again, but hopefully you watch it. And it’s cheap!’ And I hate to say that, but I’m just being honest. I mean, f*** it. They can’t fire me again. I’m just being brutally honest. I think it felt to me like they were looking for really easy, cheap content that they could fill up time with.
“I talked with the head of CBS [Studios] and the head of Nexstar/CW, I talked with the other [executive producers] on ‘Walker’, and I think it was a multivariate kind of issue. My understanding is — and again, this is just what I’m told — that Nexstar is going in a different direction with The CW. I mean, they have an hour of ‘Trivial Pursuit’ and an hour of ‘Scrabble’ coming up. I don’t know why you wouldn’t just download the app or grab a board game and play with your friends, but they’re clearly just — what’s that great quote? It’s like, ‘If somebody tells you who they are, ask questions. If somebody shows you who they are, believe them’.”
And Jared admitted he is still grieving ‘Walker’, which he had hoped would continue for many years to come.
He said: “I left two days [after the cancellation was announced] to go to Europe for work and then for play. My wife and kids met me out there, and we took a little vacation that was already planned. It was strange, and it was both horrible and wonderful. It was horrible because I really wanted to grieve. I really wanted to sit there and grieve, and call my cast. But here I was, eight or 10 hours ahead of their time zone, and I couldn’t make a phone call to everybody I wanted to make. The texts would come in when I woke up in the morning, and I just wanted or needed a personal connection with everybody who I had worked with for so long. But it was great, because I had a lot of distractions…I still feel like I haven’t grieved the loss of ‘Walker’, so I don’t know yet if I trust my feelings.”
Jared also revealed that the cancellation has made him reevaluate his work/life balance.
He said: “I need to take a good, long, hard look at my personal life and the time I spend with my family and my friends, and I need to stop being so aggressive and obsessed with work. I still want to work, but for now, you’ll find me in and out of the bushes, hanging out with family and seeing friends. If a project comes up and I don’t care about it, then money doesn’t matter. But if a project comes up and I love the story or there’s somebody I really want to work with, then all right, [I’ll do it].”

Princess Anne leaves hospital five days after being injured by horse

OHMYGOSSIP — Princess Anne has been discharged from hospital five days after being injured by a horse.
The 73-year-old Princess Royal was admitted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol after suffering “minor injuries and concussion” in an accident with a horse at her home in Gloucestershire on Sunday (23.06.24) and it’s now been confirmed she has been deemed well enough to go home.
Anne’s husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence said: “I would like to extend my warmest thanks to all the team at Southmead Hospital for their care, expertise and kindness during my wife’s short stay.”
Anne is believed to be planning to rest at home as she recuperates and will not return to royal duties until given the green light by doctors.
The royal – who is a highly skilled horsewoman and competed in the 1976 Montreal Olympics – is believed to have sustained her injuries while walking on her Gloucestershire estate in an accident thought to have been caused by a kick from a horse.
Although the exact cause of the injuries is unconfirmed, Anne’s medical team have said her head injuries are consistent with a potential impact from a horse’s head or legs.
Sir Tim previously said of his wife’s condition: “She’s doing fine. Slow, but sure. She is recovering well, thank you. We are both profoundly grateful to the medical team and hospital support staff for their expert care – and to the emergency services who were all so wonderful at the scene.
He also thanked everyone for their messages of support following the accident. He added: “We are both deeply touched by all the kind messages we have received from so many people near and far. It means a great deal.”
Buckingham Palace previously said in a statement: “The King has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to the princess for a speedy recovery.”
As well as missing a state banquet in honour of Japan’s Emperor Naruhito, Princess Anne won’t take part in a planned overseas tour to Canada this weekend.

Katie Price underwent 17th boob job to correct lopsided chest

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price underwent her 17th boob job because one of her breasts appeared bigger than the other.
The 46-year-old former glamour model recently headed to Brussels in Belgium to undergo the latest procedure on her chest and she’s insisted the operation was necessary to correct issues she was having so she decided to “go smaller”.
Speaking in a new episode of her ‘The Katie Price Show’ podcast, which was recorded shortly before she went under the knife, Katie explained: ” ‘I’ve got to get the train to Brussels, because on Wednesday, ladies and gentlemen, Ms. Price … gets her boobs done. Smaller!
“Basically, the reason I’m doing it is ’cause one looks a bit bigger than the other one and it’s dropped. So, they do need doing. And my cleavage bit sticks up a bit, it should be down. So, it’s more, like, corrective. So, I thought, because I’ve gone big, they’ve done that, so I’m going to go smaller.”
Katie has since shared her first picture on Instagram since undergoing the surgery and revealed she is happy to be “wearing dresses again”.
It comes after the TV star insisted she has no plans to stop undergoing cosmetic procedures because she wants to look like a “Bratz doll”.
Speaking to MailOnline about her latest boob job and face lift plans, she explained: “I’m just trying to find time to do it. I will never stop with this surgery … I want to be a Bratz doll.”
Katie also fired back at people who criticise her decisions, and insisted everyone should have control over what happens to their own body.
She added: “It’s my body and I do what I want to do. That’s how it should be, our body, your choice. The difference is I talk about it. There’s a lot of people out there who hide [what they’ve had done].”

The 58-year-old singer/songwriter has detailed how in 1987 her mother Sharon Morrison and step-father Jerry Twain died in a car accident, leaving Shania to take care of her younger family members.
She told The Sun newspaper: ““It was a very touch and go period in my life.
“I had frostbite many times just by not having the right clothes.

It was a lot of pressure.
“I barely slept.”
And, Shania has talked about the huge changes music stardom brought to her life.

David Duchovny: ‘I feel like I discovered Angelina Jolie’

OHMYGOSSIP — David Duchovny has joked he “discovered” Angelina Jolie.
The 63-year-old actor starred alongside Angelina, 49, in the 1997 thriller ‘Playing God’ and revealed he was struck by her star power from their first meeting.
Speaking on SiriusXM’s ‘Andy Cohen Live’, he said: “I feel like I discovered Angelina Jolie.
“Yeah, because I was casting, I was part of the casting of, I didn’t discover her, but you know, she came in, and I just knew she was a movie star, and I told everybody we’ve gotta cast her.”
At the time, David was a huge star due to his role as Fox Mulder on ‘The X Files’.
While Angelina, whose father is actor Jon Voight, had made a number of movies before ‘Playing God’, she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress two years later for ‘Girl, Interrupted’.
She then went on to find worldwide fame after starring as the titular heoine in 2001’s ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’.
Speaking previously about ‘Playing God’, in which Duchovny played a disgraced surgeon who reinvents himself as a “gunshot doctor” for criminals, with Jolie in the role of the criminals’ girlfriends, she called the movie “wild”.
She told Interview magazine in 1997: “[‘Playing God’] was very rock-‘n’-roll and fun and loud and say-what-you-want-to-say, dress wild and love wild — you know that fantasy. I really allowed myself to get into that world. Being the age am, I sometimes feel like a punk kid walking onto certain sets, but I didn’t this time. I felt very much a woman.”

Naomi Watts suffered sleepless nights during menopause

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Watts suffered sleepless nights during the menopause.
The 55-year-old actress has revealed the transition started with dry, sensitive skin and the most “unpleasant symptom” was being unable to doze off at night because a lack of sleep causes so many other issues.
She told Forbes magazine: “For me, that [menopause] started with dry, sensitive, and irritable skin. But I would say the most unpleasant symptom I experienced was sleeplessness, because that is connected to so many other issues.
“When you don’t sleep, you can’t concentrate, you get brain fog, you get migraines, you get anxiety, you get stressed and depressed.”
Naomi was diagnosed as menopausal when she was in her 30s and her symptoms kicked in when she was in her early 40s.
She launched her own beauty and wellness brand Stripes to help women deal with the menopause, but she says being more open about it and talking to friends has been a huge help and it’s strengthened her relationships with other women.
She added to the outlet: “Once the conversation is open, you let go of all of that fear and stigma and taboo, and the truth is on the table in all the gory details. Just like we have needed to connect at every stage of a woman’s life, about our health, first kisses, fertility, motherhood, you need conversations and a fountain of information about this time in our lives.
“Now I openly share about what I’m going through with my peers, and it’s quite fun. And out of that has come strengthened friendships, because we’re more authentic with each other.”
Naomi previously told Marie Claire magazine she thinks the menopause would be better accepted and understood if affected men instead of women. She explained: “If it was a male thing and that (symptoms like brain fog) was a regular symptom, we’d accept it so much more easily but somehow women have been taught to hold on to these secrets and suffer through them and soldier on.
“We shouldn’t have to. The more it’s understood in every arena of life, not just the household, not just the relationship but in the workplace, the more we can find ourselves operating from empathy. It’s not a disease, it’s not a failure. It’s just something that was always supposed to happen.”

He told Variety: “Kayte and I were talking about how it’s really something that a child would follow in their father’s footsteps.
“To think that all my kids, at least the ones that have a hand in the air, are ready to take responsibility for their lives, are all drawn to this industry. And she said, ‘That’s something to be proud of.’ So, I wrote that in the book.”

David Bowie’s ghost haunting island of Mustique?

OHMYGOSSIP — David Bowie’s ghost is reportedly haunting the island of Mustique.
The musician and actor passed away in 2016 at the age of 69 after a secret 18-month battle with liver cancer and it has been claimed that David’s presence lives on in the Caribbean island where he and wife Iman had a home.
Former GQ editor Dylan Jones writes in his new book ‘These Foolish Things’: “Spend any time on Mustique and you’ll start to meet Bowie’s ghost, whether it’s in Basil’s Bar or at the Cotton House Hotel, where every Tuesday there is still a weekly meet and greet at which you get to see who is staying on the island.”
Jones added that Bowie was a regular at Basil’s Bar and loved to jam with the house band.
Describing it as “the waterfront dive bar where everyone on the island still congregates after dark”, he added: “Bowie was a regular and would occasionally get up to sing with whatever house band happened to be playing there.
“When Bowie was on the island, he tended to be extremely sociable and even before he started coming with Iman he would spend his evenings carousing with the likes of Mick Jagger and Bryan Ferry.”
Meanwhile, Bowie collaborator Earl Slick recently described the late star as “the strangest cat I’d ever seen”, when they first met in the seventies.
Writing in his book ‘Guitar: Playing with David Bowie, John Lennon, and Rock-and-Roll’s Greatest Heroes’, he said: “Man, he was skinny as a rake. And pale. He was dressed the way an English rock star might think a Harlem pimp would dress. Loose, baggy pants matched with Capezio dance shoes. It was a weird combo, but very cool, too. And I was especially struck by the way he moved. He was graceful for a rock-and-roll guy. To top it off, he had bright orange hair under a grey fedora. Then, as he got closer, I noticed he didn’t have any eyebrows!
“David was definitely the strangest cat I’d ever seen, and I’d been around some off-the-wall characters, even at that point in my career.”

Nicole Scherzinger planning to ‘make time’ for a baby

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Scherzinger is planning to “make time” to have a baby with her fiance Thom Evans.
The Pussycat Dolls star, 45, admits she longs to become a mother but she’s had to prioritise her work after being offered a starring role in hit Broadway musical ‘Sunset Boulevard’ but she’s adamant the time is coming for her to start a family because “the clock is ticking”.
She told The Times newspaper: “Oh my gosh, I would love to [have a baby]. I’ve never shied away from that. I can’t wait. It’s like the clock is ticking.
“I want to have a baby but work calls. But I’m going to have to make time because, yes, I cannot wait to have children.”
When asked if her mum is pushing her to get on with starting a family, she replied: “No, because my mother knows how hard I work and how passionate I am about what I do. She is a faithful woman and she just knows, everything in God’s timing.”
Nicole has been dating former rugby player Thom since 2020 and they got engaged last year, but the singer has confessed she’s yet to start planning the wedding.
When asked about a wedding date, Nicole suggests it will be in the next couple of years once her stage commitments are done.
She added her relationship with Thom works because he’s so organised and tidy. Nicole added: “It’s nice, because he likes a system – he’s extremely organised and he’s extremely on time, which is the opposite of me, so he makes me so much better in that way.
“I don’t know if all rugby players are like this but he’s the cleanest. He’s OCD like me and I just love it. It’s great.”
Thom previously declared proposing to Nicole was the “best day” of his life and he “can’t wait” to get married and start a family with the singer.
He told Men’s Health magazine: “I’m looking to get married soon. I proposed to my fiancée in June 2023. It was one of the best days of my life. Getting married to her and starting a family is something I can’t wait for.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Roberts loved working with Kim Kardashian on ‘American Horror Story’.
The 43-year-old beauty joined the cast of the anthology horror series for season 12 of the show, and Emma has revealed that she relished the experience of working with her showbiz pal.
Emma, 33, said on the ‘Table for Two’ podcast: “She is one of the most prepared actors I’ve worked with.
“I mean, I’ve come to work sometimes and people – that I won’t name, but you know who – they don’t know their lines at all, which, whatever, it’s fine, we all have those days. But she knew every single line.”
Despite her lack of experience, Kim displayed an impressive level of self-confidence when she was working on set.
Emma shared: “She also will just look you in the eye and do it. To be that open and vulnerable – and I get embarrassed sometimes and I’ve been acting for 20 years – she’s super professional, confident.”
What’s more, Emma observed that Kim was remarkably low-key, given her fame and success.
The actress said: “Just the way that she carries herself, she doesn’t have a huge entourage, she’s very normal. And that was also really inspiring to see.”
Meanwhile, Kim previously claimed that she doesn’t care what people think of her.
Discussing her talents and the keys to her success, Kim told Interview Magazine: “I’m like, ‘Well, we have a TV show.’ But just because we’re not singing and dancing and acting on the show doesn’t mean that the fame didn’t come from that.
“But then, I would write that as a hashtag, not bad for a girl with no talent, because people used to be like, ‘Well, what do you do? What’s your talent?’ And I’m like, ‘Didn’t know I needed one.'”

“But there’s gonna be a time that my kids are gonna want to choose their friends over me. And right now, when I have the opportunity and the privilege of having dinner with my kids every night, I’m going to take advantage of that.”
Khloe is determined to support her children through the landmark moments in their lives.

And the award-winning actress recently revealed that she considers the script to be a breath of fresh air.
She explained to PEOPLE: “We’ve had it from way back with older men and younger women, that’s just always been the norm – it’s okay, it’s completely acceptable. The problem is we’ve not had the equivalent from all different viewpoints, with women telling the stories. And we need game men.
