Richard Simmons’ family grateful for ‘outpouring of love’

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Simmons’ family are “overwhelmed and beyond grateful” for the “outpouring of love” sparked by his death.
The fitness guru was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Saturday (13.07.24) just one day after his 76th birthday, and his loved ones have been left deeply touched by the kind messages and tributes people have shared in the wake of his passing.
Richard’s publicist, Tom Estey, told People magazine: “The Simmons family is overwhelmed and beyond grateful for the outpouring of love shown to our beloved Dicky. He is up above smiling down at all of you.
“There will be no further comment from the family at this time other than to kindly ask the media to respect Richard’s memory and grant us the time to grieve as we so desperately need to do.”
Shortly after news of Richard’s death broke, his brother Lenny insisted he didn’t want people to be “sad” about his passing and would prefer his life to be “celebrated” instead.
He told People magazine: “I don’t want people to be sad about my brother.
“I want them to remember him for the genuine joy and love he brought to people’s lives. He truly cared about people. He called, wrote and emailed thousands of people throughout his career to offer help.
“So don’t be sad. Celebrate his life.
“He was very excited about all of his upcoming ventures he was working on.
“We are in shock. Please respect the family at this difficult time.”
The wellness expert’s passing is being investigated by the LA Medical Examiner’s Office, but the city’s fire department believe it was due to natural causes.
In a statement to Entertainment Tonight, LAFD Captain Erik Scott said: “On July 13, 2024, at 9:55 AM, the LAFD responded to a Suspected Death Incident at the 1300 block of N Belfast Drive.
“Upon arrival, one rescue ambulance discovered a 76-year-old male who was pronounced deceased on-scene by firefighter/paramedics due to apparent natural causes.
“As a result, no hospital transport was necessary.”
Police have said they do not suspect “foul play”, while the LA Medical Examiner’s Office has stated Simmons’ cause of death has been deferred – meaning a probe and additional testing no his body are required, which can take up to three months before a ruling is made on the cause of death.

AnnaLynne McCord’s tribute to ‘rebel’ Shannen Doherty

OHMYGOSSIP — AnnaLynne McCord has paid tribute to Shannen Doherty.
The 37-year-old actress – who starred in the ‘90210’ reboot – remembered the late star of the original ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ after she passed away this week, following a long battle with breast cancer.
She told Us Weekly: “Everyone had something to say about Shannen when it was announced that she was coming back to do our version of her (much beloved) ‘Beverly Hills 90210’. But the woman everyone depicted and the woman I got to spend time with on set were two very different people. So, of course, I loved her right away!
“She was a rebel and a non-conformist who lived life on her terms.
“This is threatening to those who bend to trends, something I couldn’t see her ever doing. I didn’t spend a great deal of time with her, but I didn’t have to. She was who she was in all arenas. Authentic through and through. And she was a fighter. To the very end.”
Shannen was just 53 when she passed away following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Her publicist, Leslie Sloane said in a statement: “It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty. On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease. The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend was surrounded by her loved ones as well as her dog, Bowie. The family asks for their privacy at this time so they can grieve in peace.”
Meanwhile, Antonio Sabato Jr., who previously worked with Shannen, also paid tribute to his late friend.
He said: “We worked many times together, she was a friend and a wonderful actress. We’ve been working together since the ‘90s. All the stories about her being difficult in the ‘90s were untrue, she was never once problematic, she was the complete opposite.
“She was a hard worker, never late, always early, the first one on set and the last to leave. She was amazing in every way.
“She was a star, we had a lot of things in common, she grew up on a set like I did. We had a great chemistry and every time there was a time to work together, we always liked to come back together. She was never the gossip person, she just came in with a big heart, she made the day better for everyone, for the crew and every person there.”

Christina and Josh Hall ‘had issues for some time’ before split

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina and Josh Hall “had issues in the marriage for quite some time” before their shock split.
Although it came as a surprise to fans when Josh, 43, filed for divorce this week, citing “irreconcilable differences”, friends told PEOPLE that all had not been well in the marriage in recent times.
Christina has also filed for a dissolution of the marriage and while she too cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, the former couple disagree on the date of separation.
According to documents obtained by Us Weekly, Christina has listed the separation date as July 7, while Josh has stated it was July 8.
Christina – who has daughter Taylor, 13, and son Braydon, eight, with her first husband and former ‘Flip or Flop’ co-host Tarek El Moussa, as well as four-year-old Hudson with second husband Ant Antstead – is also asking the court to restore her last name to Haack.
She has requested that neither party receive spousal support and has asked for Josh to pay her legal fees.
However, Josh is seeking spousal support from Christina and wants her to pay his attorney fees.
Meanwhile, Christina and Josh also had a professional relationship, having worked together on a number of projects, including ‘Christina on the Coast’, ‘Christina in the Country’ and the upcoming ‘The Flip Off’, which is set to premiere in 2025.
It is unclear if the split will affect the show.
The pair secretly tied the knot in a private courthouse ceremony in 2021, after less than a year of dating and later had another wedding in Hawaii in September 2022, with friends and family.

Kerry Washington misses UnPrisoned premiere with COVID-19

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Washington missed the premiere of ‘UnPrisoned’ season two after testing positive for COVID-19.
The 47-year-old actress stayed at home on Tuesday (16.07.24) instead of joining her co-stars on the red carpet in New York City after contracting the virus, and admitted she was jealous not to be there celebrating.
Sharing a make-up free selfie, in which she covered her face with her hands, Kerry wrote on Instagram: “Soooooooooo I have COVID and I won’t be able to make it to the @unprisonedhulu season 2 premiere tonight in NYC.
“I’m not sure what’s worse right now, being sick with COVID or being sick with FOMO [crying face emoji].
“I love our Unprisoned family so much and I am INSANELY proud of and EXCITED about Season 2!
“I cannot believe I’m not there tonight to celebrate our amazing cast + crew! (sic)”
The former ‘Scandal’ star admitted she had cried about missing the screening but was planning a “watch party” for the show’s premiere on Wednesday (17.07.24) instead.
She added: “But after shedding waaaay too many tears, I decided to gather everything I need for a legitimate watch party (except its cranberry juice because it’s very high in vit C!) and I guess I’ll be watching it on HULU tomorrow with YOU!
“YAY!!!!! I know you’re going to loooooooove it! XOXOXOX K #TryingToStayPositiveWhileWaitingToBeNegative (sic)”
The Hulu drama series centres around the relationship between Kerry’s character Paige Alexander and her previously-incarcerated father Edwin (Delroy Lindo).
And the former ‘Scandal’ star recently teased audiences can expect season two to show the relationship therapist confront her own intimacy issues in the aftermath of her viral TED talk from the season one finale.
She told People magazine: “Paige is now dealing with the reality of trying to be who she wants to be, which was the thesis of her TED talk, because it’s easier to ‘talk the talk’ than ‘walk the walk’ sometimes.
“I think who you want to be can be a moving target.”

Rust armourer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed makes fresh break for freedom in wake of Alec Baldwin ruling

OHMYGOSSIP — Hannah Gutierrez-Reed has launched a bid to have her case dismissed after Alec Baldwin’s trial was thrown out.
The 26-year-old armourer was jailed for 18 months in April after being found guilty in charges connected to the 2021 fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of ‘Rust’ but after the 66-year-old actor’s case was dismissed last week due to prosecutors failing to fully disclose evidence, her lawyer has made new moves for her to be freed.
Jason Bowles filed an expedited motion in the New Mexico courts on Tuesday (16.07.24) to see Hannah’s case dismissed, or for her to receive a new trial as soon as possible.
According to documents obtained by Deadline, citing “egregious prosecutorial misconduct”, he wrote: “Justice demands that Hannah Gutierrez-Reed’s conviction be overturned immediately, ensuring that the legal system does not perpetuate this core affront to our system that has been watched all over the world.
“The State withheld bombshell exculpatory evidence that it had a constitutional obligation to disclose and that would have resulted in a fundamentally different trial and likely a different outcome.
“In the alternative to an outright dismissal or at least a new trial, the Court should grant Ms. Gutierrez-Reed’s already filed motion for immediate release pending appeal.”
The filing alleged there was more evidence “suppression” than previously known and demanded Kari Morrissey “be removed as Special Prosecutor for the misconduct that has been found, and the violations committed in Ms. Gutierrez-Reed’s case.”
However, First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies has backed Morrissey to stay in position.
Her office said: “There is no better advocate than Kari Morrissey to see the Hannah Gutierrez-Reed cases through, and her appointment and oath are still in place.”
Alec was left stunned on Friday (12.07.24) when judge Mary Marlowe Sommer threw out the case after his legal team argued prosecutors had hidden evidence relating to the death of the cinematographer.

Adam Lambert decided to audition for American Idol after getting high on acid

OHMYGOSSIP — Adam Lambert decided to audition for ‘American Idol’ after tripping on acid at a music festival.
The 42-year-old singer rose to fame in 2009 after finishing as runner-up on the eighth season of ‘American Idol’ but admitted it never would have happened if he hadn’t taken drugs at Burning Man and experiencing an epiphany.
He told Jamie Laing’s ‘Great Company’ podcast: “I tripped on acid and had this amazing experience where I saw my fear in front of me … as a physical manifestation.
“I was in the desert and heard the voice of some higher power, and it was like ‘Kick it away’, and I kicked it away, and I saw it shoot across the floor.
“[I decided] I’m gonna say yes to everything, I’m gonna put my eggs in more than one basket, I just gotta go for it.”
Adam finished the season as runner-up to Kris Allen but went on to forge a hugely successful career for himself.
Meanwhile, Adam previously admitted he wasn’t sure he would “be able to do” ‘American Idol’ because he didn’t think other homosexual contestants had been “taken seriously”.
In a video profile with Them, he said: “I started pretty early kind of understanding that I was probably different than the other boys in school.
“I don’t think it really clicked for me until I was in about sixth grade. And I started going, ‘Oh, Ok. Got it.’ Like this is how I’m wired.
“I never thought that it was a show that I’d be able to do… I’m gay, which never seemed to really land very well in that show.
“I mean, there definitely were a few, but they all kind of got not taken seriously.”
During American Idol’s eighth season, photos of Adam kissing an ex began to circulate online, but he revealed the show’s publicist was “so great” at dealing with it.
He added: “Then the publicist for the show had called me before to say, ‘Hey, I don’t know if you saw this.’
“And I said, ‘Yeah, I saw it.’ And she was so great. She was like, ‘Well, how do you wanna deal with it?’
“And so I just said to a reporter, I’m like, ‘Yeah. That’s me.’ That’s all I said.
“I think I lost some fans at that point, but I always said to myself, ‘Well, those aren’t the fans I want anyway.’ ”

Nick Cave’s resilience in grief

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Cave has opened up about his grief over the death of his sons.
The 66-year-old musician lost his son Arthur, 15, in 2015, when the teenager fell from a cliff near the family home in Brighton and suffered further grief seven years later when his son Jethro, 31, died and Nick revealed he is starting to find “resilience” in his sadness.
He told Mojo magazine: “It feels like that moves on, it doesn’t move for me in the sense it’s always there. But there’s a sort of resilience.
“I’ve really noticed this in Susie [Nick’s wife]. When you are broken apart, you come back tougher. When the worst happens, other things don’t feel as important any more.”
He added that his 2017 tour helped him to cope after Arthur’s death.
He said: “It’s difficult to talk about this but there was a feeling I had never felt before – of stepping into a kind of outpouring of love.
“I think people had an enormous emotional commitment beyond the music. It was a very beautiful thing and completely unexpected and very helpful.”
Meanwhile, Nick – who also has sons Luke, 33, from his marriage to his first wife, Viviane Carneiro and Earl, 24, with spouse Susie – recently revealed his hopes that his children will continue to do their “bit to improve the world”.
Writing on his blog, ‘The Red Hand Files’, in which he responds to questions from fans, Nick said: “One of the enduring privileges of advanced parenthood is finally being able to abandon any attempt to live up to the impossible standards set by our children. Instead, we lean back and fall unapologetically into our obsolescence. We understand that we are what we are and hope our children grow into somewhat better versions of ourselves. We feel we have done our bit to improve the world and pray that our children will continue to do so. We also hope that we have raised our children to be strong enough to withstand the generational contempt that will almost certainly come their way when they, in turn, have their own children.”

Whoopi Goldberg scattered mom’s ashes at Disneyland

OHMYGOSSIP — Whoopi Goldberg scattered her mother’s ashes at Disneyland.
The ‘View’ co-host’s mom, Emma Harris, passed away in 2010 and the 68-year-old actress decided to honour her by spreading her remains while on her parent’s favourite ride at the theme park, It’s a Small World.
However, because the practice isn’t allowed, Whoopi resorted to faking sneezing fits as cover while she randomly “scooped some of her up” to spread the ashes around the ride.
Speaking on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’, she said: “No one should do this. Don’t do it.
“My mother loved Disneyland, we took her to Disneyland.
“When I was a kid, the World’s Fair was (in New York) and it was the introduction of Small World, she loved Small World.
“So in the Small World ride… Periodically I’d scoop some of her up and do this [giant sneeze] and I’d say, ‘My god this cold is getting worse and worse.’
Whoopi then used her sneeze technique by the park entrance.
She added: “And then we got over to the flowers that say Disneyland and I said, ‘Oh look at this’ and [sneezed].”
Despite trying to conceal her actions, the ‘Color Purple’ star confessed to Disneyland bosses afterwards.
She said: “I told them I did it. I wanted to make sure, actually, that I hadn’t done something that was dangerous, ’cause it hadn’t occurred to me. But there’s a reason they don’t want ashes just floatin’ around.”
Theme park staff have previously admitted they have to clean up ashes around once a month, with rides being shut down due to “technical difficulties” when they are actually being deep cleaned.
And one ride is chosen far more frequently than others for scattering ashes.
An unnamed custodian told the Wall Street Journal in 2018: “The Haunted Mansion probably has so much human ashes in it that it’s not even funny.”

Jane Krakowski evicted after finding fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Jane Krakowski knew she’d found fame when she got evicted.
The 55-year-old actress had tried to hold onto her rent-controlled apartment in New York City for the first year after she was cast as Elaine Vassal in ‘Ally McBeal’ – which ran from 1997 to 2002 – because she didn’t know how successful the show would be, but she was eventually ordered to leave as her landlords were aware she was living elsewhere.
Speaking to Jesse Tyler Ferguson on his ‘Dinner’s on Me’ podcast, she said: “I remember the first time I came back to the East Coast after Ally McBeal aired because my parents were still here. I’m very close to my family, and I would come back on hiatuses and go see everything I could on Broadway too, you know, see everybody.
“I literally got evicted because I was on Hollywood Field. I had, like, a rent-stabilised apartment on the Upper West Side.
“I tried to keep it the whole first year, and as ‘Ally McBeal’ got more and more known, I got, like, a certified letter from my landlord’s lawyer saying, ‘We know you don’t live here. We know you’re not living here. You need to evict the premises.’ And I was like, ‘What? How could this even happen?’ ”
The former ’30 Rock’ star ended up having to give up the property and stay with her parents when she was in New York.
Jane recalled how she and her co-stars felt “a little shaky” when they watched the pilot episode of ‘Ally McBeal’ – in which Calista Flockhart played the titular lawyer alongside the likes of Gil Bellows, Lisa Niole Carson and Greg Germann – because they knew it had the makings of something big.
She recalled: “There was a little bit of trust of what we were, you know, getting into, but it was so funny and so original and so different. I have such a clear memory of the first screening that we watched the pilot.
“And I think because we all had no idea what we were making or what it really was gonna be. I mean, we knew we all loved the script.
“And I remember sitting with all my other castmates, and we all just kinda looked at each other, and I felt like a little shaky inside because I think we knew it was something so different that it might really change our lives.”

Maya Jama and Stormzy split again

OHMYGOSSIP — Maya Jama and Stormzy have split up.
The 29-year-old ‘Love Island’ presenter and the 30-year-old rapper rekindled their romance almost a year ago but have revealed in a joint statement that they recently decided to end their relationship for good.
They wrote on Instagram Stories: “We’ve been laughing whilst drafting this because we never, ever, in a million years thought we’d be the couple announcing a breakup, but for the sake of clarity and, more importantly, to allow us the space and grace that’s needed for us both to be able to navigate this next bit of our lives with peace, we thought it might be best to.
“We fell madly in love in 2014, broke up in 2019, and then spent five years manoeuvring life apart.
“We decided to try for the final time in August 2023, and we’ve spent this past year trying our best to make it work; however, we recently decided to call it quits.
“We were 21 and 20 when we first met-both at the beginning of our careers-and spent five years growing together and then five years growing separately, so this final attempt required a whole lot of figuring out, relearning.
“We still think the absolute world of each other, we still care and respect each other, we are still grateful for the time we’ve had together, and we are still friends and will always be friends (so if you see us having a lil catch-up at The Brits or something, don’t cause a fuss, we are dawgs!)
“Kind of kindly asking for the grace to let both of us keep it moving and not be bothered about it (we highly doubt this’ll work, but we’re still kindly asking anyway.
“Love you guys and thank you for all the love you’ve showered us with, it’s been beautiful.
“Mike and MJ x.”

Last month, the 26-year-old singer announced that she and The 1975 singer were engaged after a nine-month romance and Gabbriette is eager to have children with the 35-year-old rocker.
She told Vogue.co.uk: “I love being in love. When I thought that I was in love before it was just me being a person of service to somebody else.
“When I have kids, it’s going to be: dinner every night – no phones – to celebrate the smaller things and recognise people’s happiness.”
Gabbriette has been close friends with Charli XCX (real name Charlotte Aitchison), since the popstar hired her to play a zombie in one of her music videos in 2016.
Charli is engaged to Matty’s bandmate George Daniel and Gabbriette has given her advice to those who are still single and looking, hinting that her friends were involved in getting her and Matty together.
She said: “Answer all your DMs and listen to your closest friends. When they like somebody, you should listen to them.”
Gabbriette and Matty started dating in the aftermath of his fling with superstar Taylor Swift, 34.
Matty is believed to have inspired some of the tracks on Taylor’s latest LP, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, but he insisted he “hasn’t listened to much” of the record.
The pair briefly dated in 2023, and she is thought to have used several of her relationships as inspiration for her record, but when asked about a certain “diss track” that is supposedly about him, he admitted he hadn’t even really listened to the record.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight:’: “My diss track? I haven’t really listened to that much of it, but I’m sure it’s good.”
The singer appeared unfazed by Taylor’s latest project, and his family was insistent that he was not going to be “surprised” that he had inspired the track ‘The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived’.
Matty’s aunt Debbie Dedes – who is the sister of his television actress mother Denise Welch – told MailOnline: “Nothing surprises him anymore. He will not be surprised by the song. Him and her know what went on.
“She writes about all her relationships, doesn’t she? I don’t think it will come as a shock to him at all.
“He’s very happy in his new relationship so I’m sure he will be focusing on that.
“As my nephew, we know a bit more about what went on than has been in the press.”

Glen Powell studying for degree on Zoom

OHMYGOSSIP — Glen Powell is studying for his college degree via Zoom.
The ‘Twisters’ actor is just a few units away from graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, but his working commitments mean he can’t regularly attend classes, so he is mostly doing “distance learning”.
He told IndieWire: “I’m not going to be sitting in a class with other students on the regular.
“I’m basically going to be coming back because I have to finish up, but I’m going to be shooting ‘The Running Man’ in the fall.
“So I’m going to be in London, but I am going to be going back for proctored exams. So, they’re letting me figure it out [with] distance learning.
“And I’m obviously going to be coming in, Zooming in for classes and whatnot, but I have to be back for the proctored exams. So, we’re figuring that out for two or three times a semester, I’ll come back for all my stuff.”
Glenn praised ‘The Running Man’ director Edgar Wright for being accommodating of his study schedule.
He added: “Edgar has been very nice about letting me finish my degree in the middle of his massive movie.”
The 35-year-old actor admitted the filmmaker has always been at the top of his wish list for people he wanted to work with.
He said: “I had a wish list of directors that I wanted to work with in 2008 when I moved out to LA that I sent my agent at the time — and Edgar Wright is literally number one. I’m such an Edgar Wright man. And so, the fact that I get to work with him right now is just so damn cool.”
Asked if Edgar knows about his list, he added: “Yeah, I made a bit of an 11th-hour plea to him on the job.
“To just let him know, anybody that’s ever worked with me knows, you’re never going to outbeat my work ethic on stuff.
“But sometimes it’s just a good reminder for a filmmaker to know, hey, when we get in the trenches, I’m going to serve it up. I’m going to deliver.
“And I’m going to deliver for you because not only do I take this job seriously, but I’m also just a fan, and you don’t want to disappoint your heroes … Edgar has also become a friend in the last few years. So that’s been really fun for us to finally get in the trenches together.”

Dave Bautista embarrassed about first tattoo

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Bautista is “so embarrassed” about the heart he had tattooed on his butt.
The 55-year-old former wrestler has several inkings on his body but he won’t remove any of the designs he now dislikes as the process is a “nightmare”, so he’d rather cover them up instead – which means he now has a large cherry blossom tree etched on his rear.
Speaking on ‘Live with Kelly and Mark’, the ‘My Spy the Eternal City’ star said when asked if he’d consider removing any of his tattoos: “I’ve thought about it and then I’ve just gotten cover-ups instead. It’s a real nightmare to get tattoos removed. They burn them off.”
Dave then admitted he had covered up his very first tattoo and explained: “Oh man, I’m instantly sweating.
“I will preface this by saying it was the 80s and it was my first tattoo. I lived in DC, I was in Arlington, Virginia. I went to this place called Rick’s Tattoo. It was this old biker named Rick… I picked out the tattoo and told him I wanted it on my butt. I wanted it on my butt so my dad wouldn’t see it and kill me. So I got it on my butt.”
The biker shaved the ‘Dune’ star’s butt before double checking the placement of the tattoo.
Dave recalled: “I was like, ‘Yeah.’ And he put it on. And, I’m so embarrassed.
“It was this really cheesy heart that said, ‘Heart of Stone.’ I thought I was a tough guy with a tough tattoo. And I regretted it immediately. But I got razzed so bad in the WWE for that tattoo.
“I said, ‘Just cover it up. I don’t care just cover it up.’ ”
The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star also revealed he has a tattoo on his leg that he left unfinished because it was too painful, admitting he had “started drinking” during the process to block out the pain.
He said: “I have a tattoo on my leg that I got maybe 15 years ago that I never got finished cause it hurt so bad.
“It’s on my leg but it’s when he got up to the back of my knee where it became so painful that I actually kicked him out of my house. I said, ‘Dude, I can’t take it anymore.’”

Kerry Katona’s shocking childhood

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona’s earliest memory is watching her mother slit her wrists when Kerry was just three years old.
The 43-year-old reality TV star opened up about the toll her troubled childhood took on her, admitting she never felt like she was good enough because of her mother’s suicide attempt.
Speaking to Abbey Clancy on her ‘Exhibit A’ podcast, Kerry explained: “I think my biggest thing was always feeling not good enough because you know when you watch your mum trying to kill herself and you’re like ‘am I not good enough for you want to be here?’
“So I was pretty f***** up before I became famous anyway.
“I remember sitting in rehab and I couldn’t believe I let myself get so low and I kept thinking if this is in my DNA and if it is a genetic thing and I thought the one thing I never want my kids to feel is unloved and not wanted by me, because that is how I felt.”
And Kerry even got the names of two of her daughters inked on her wrists, in order to stop her from doing what her mother did.
She said: “I thought if this is [self-harming] something that I might end up doing, so I got Molly and Lily tattooed on my wrist because I thought I’d be so selfish to put my kids through that.
“No matter what’s going on in my life I want my kids to know I love them so much and I’m never going to leave them.”
Kerry has Molly, 22 and Lilly-Sue, 20, with first husband Brian McFadden; Heidi, 16, and Max, 15, with second husband Mark Croft; and Dylan Jorge, nine, with her late third husband George Kay.
Abbey told Kerry: “I do feel it’s unfair knowing your tragic start to life, the most unimaginable things you know it sounds like a film.
“It’s like unbelievable. No one ever praises you because I think it’s a success story.”
Kerry replied: “Oh massively and you know I have said there was no role model for me.
“I’ve always been a grafter and I think if I didn’t have my kids I don’t think I’d be here today. I don’t think I’d have got through it especially the after Brian left me.”

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s ‘iconic’ Simple Life reunion

OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are “planning something very special” to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘The Simple Life’.
The pair have teamed up to shoot a reunion special of their reality TV series and they want to get their fans involved in the “iconic” celebrations.
Paris, 43, shared on Instagram: “Hey guys, just got home from shooting with Nicole. As some of you may know, we are doing a reunion special to celebrate 20 years of our show, ‘The Simple Life’.
“It’s been so much fun and we’re planning something very, very special and I thought the best place to find the people that I would want to be a part of this is here.
“So basically, Nicole and I are planning something iconic, fun. It’s going to be epic and I want to invite the biggest super fans. So I thought I would come on here and ask you guys to make a video.
“We were just talking about it today and just how much we love all the fans. We love watching your TikToks and when you guys use the different sounds from the show and dressing up as us on Halloween.
“That show was so special. The best memories ever. It’s such a huge part of our life and we love our fans so much so we wanted you guys to be a part of this.”
Although ‘The Simple Life’ was a reality show, Paris previously insisted she was playing a character and got frustrated when people thought that was how she behaved in real life.
She told PEOPLE: “I knew what I was doing but the whole world didn’t, so it was kind of frustrating to me to be perceived in that way because it’s not who I am at all. But it was such an amazing and entertaining show that I would just think of it as entertainment.
“Obviously, I’ve grown as a person. I’m an adult now, but just to be judged and have so many misconceptions based on a character that I had invented myself was frustrating.
“At the same time, I built a huge brand off doing it. So, I don’t really regret it and I’m happy that people are going to finally see this film.”
Paris and Nicole, 42, starred in the show – which followed them on their escapades in small and rural towns in America – from 2003 to 2005.

Richard’s death is being investigated by the LA Medical Examiner’s Office, but the city’s fire department believe it was due to natural causes.
Police have said they do not suspect “foul play”, while the LA Medical Examiner’s Office has stated Simmons’ cause of death has been deferred – meaning a probe and additional testing on his body are required, which can take up to three months before a ruling is made on the cause of death.
