Clint Eastwood’s longtime partner Christina Sandera died from heart attack

OHMYGOSSIP — Clint Eastwood’s longtime partner Christina Sandera died of a heart attack.
The ‘Unforgiven’ actor and director, 94, was left shattered when his 61-year-old companion of 10 years died last week, and a death certificate has now revealed she was killed by cardiac arrhythmia – which causes the heart’s rhythm to become too slow, rapid or irregular.
A representative from the Monterey County Health Department confirmed the cause of death.
Atherosclerotic coronary artery disease was cited as an additional condition that led to Sandera’s death.
It occurs when deposits of fat, cholesterol, calcium and other substances accumulate in artery walls, causing blood vessels to harden and narrow, which restricts blood flow around the body.
When they plaques rupture they form a blood clot that can block the flow of blood more dramatically, which can result in a heart attack or stroke.
A Warner Bros spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter no further information would be given on Christina’s death as Clint wants to privately grieve.
The Oscar-winner confirmed Christina had passed away in a statement issued on 18 July, in which he said: “Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much.”
He and Christina had been together since 2014 after meeting while she was working as a hostess at Clint’s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
They made their red carpet debut at the 2015 Academy Awards and even though they lived a relatively private life, Christina was a regular plus-one with Clint to his red carpet events.
She was also very close to his large family and in 2018 joined three of his eight kids, as well as his granddaughter and first wife Margaret Johnson at the premiere of his film ‘The Mule’.
Two years later, Clint’s son Scott Eastwood, 38, said the whole clan planned to celebrate his dad’s 90thbirthday.
He added: “We’re going to do just a family thing. Very calm, very mellow.
“He doesn’t like birthdays. He’s just sort of like, ‘I don’t want to do birthdays … we’ll sneak a cake in there, definitely.
“He probably won’t like it, but we’ll put one in.”

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reveal secret to long lasting friendship

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are “genuinely rooting for each other” in all aspects of their lives.
The ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ co-stars and longtime pals – who first met in 2008 on the set of ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ – love to take cheeky digs at each other in public and play up their faux rivalry, but now they have revealed the best thing about their friendship.
Appearing on Entertainment Tonight’s ‘Spilling the E-Tea’, Hugh said: “[The best thing is] that I could tell you anything. I don’t think there’s [anything I couldn’t tell you].
“I could literally tell you anything and also how I feel both of us – I’m stealing a little bit ’cause you described this perfectly – we are genuinely rooting for each other in every aspect of our lives.”
Ryan agreed, pointing out “hallmark of a truly great friendship” is the way people want to see each other.
True to form, ‘The Greatest Showman’ actor couldn’t let their heartfelt moment slide without teasing his friend.
Reflecting on another favourite part of their friendship, he quipped: “And your money, if I could say that.”
Ryan replied “yes, of course”, as Hugh teased: “You have a lot of money and if I’m ever short – which is often – [you spot me].”
Ryan recently compared their friendship to “having a partner or a marriage”.
He told People magazine: “I think the secret sauce to a long-lasting Hollywood friendship is not too dissimilar to having a partner or a marriage.
“I am genuinely rooting for you, all the time. I want you to win. It’s the same way I feel about [wife] Blake [Lively]. As I’m rooting for her, I know she’s rooting for me, and it’s why we’re so connected.”
Hugh added of the special bond: “Ever since I’ve known you, and I would say in particular in like the last five, 10 years, we’ve had more time where we go for our walks because you’re an unbelievable listener.
“So you can tell me anything and I can tell you anything, and I don’t feel like you’re going to be judging or necessarily giving me the answer: ‘Do this.’ And I think that has been the key.”

Jack Osbourne takes ‘alternative’ medication for MS

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Osbourne takes “alternative” medication and therapies for his MS.
The 38-year-old TV star has revealed he takes no traditional pharmaceuticals for autoimmune disease Multiple sclerosis and even had a bio-cellular therapy treatment on his spine, where doctors injected cells into his spinal discs to repair damage, for something non-related to the condition.
Appearing on a recent episode of his family’s ‘The Osbournes Podcast’, he said: “I have had some alternative therapy treatments over the years. I do not take traditional MS medication currently.”
Jack, who was diagnosed in 2012, continued: “I’ve always leaned towards alternative therapies.
“I had this procedure called disc seal.”
The son of heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne, 75, and music manager and television personality Sharon Osbourne, 71, added: “I like the notion of alternative. But I do believe that there are amazing results from pharmaceuticals. I think there’s nothing wrong with it.”
The father-of-four hasn’t ruled out using traditional methods if necessary.
His mother asked if alternative and traditional medication and therapies work well together, to which Jack replied: “Both together when needed is a great option.
“I just choose to not go down the route of pharmaceuticals for my MS right now.
“I’m absolutely open to it if needed.”
Jack recommends bio cellular therapy has it treats the root of the problem not just the symptoms.
He explained: “And it’s the amazing thing about it is that most people feel like you have to go to a foreign country, but, if anyone listening, if they’re struggling with any kind of health condition and they wanna look at bio cellular therapy, it’s a really, interesting landscape right now.
“They wanna treat the cause of the problem, not the symptom of the problem. So American healthcare is all about, oh, you have symptoms, let’s treat them.
“Take MS, for instance. You’ll rarely come across an MS doctor… that treats the source of the problem. You go to a neurologist because your nerves are damaged by the MS.”

“But I have a lot of regrets that I didn’t have that time to have a second chance to get past stuff from the past and look at all the good things and really talk it out and have that last conversation.
“I feel like she and I had that, and I’m super grateful for that.”
However, Tori admitted she is “not doing well” after her friend’s death, and she “didn’t want to do” the podcast.
She explained: “For me, I honestly, as you know, didn’t want to do this. I just emotionally didn’t feel ready.
“And I feel like I know a lot of people are speaking out and giving lovely tributes to her in her memory, but I just, oh, I obviously wanted to do this for the fans, so this episode is for them, not for us.”
The 51-year-old actress believed her friend “was the one that would make it”.
She added: “I guess it was just that belief that she fought so hard and was such a warrior. And she has shown her entire life and career … that she can get past anything.
“So although we know the answer is so evil and takes everyone that we love, it just I don’t know.
“I guess she made you believe that she was the one that would make it and she was so hopeful.”
Tori previously took to social media with a brief message regarding her grief.
Alongside an old photo of herself and Shannen, she wrote on Instagram: “I don’t have outward words yet, but WE knew and that’s what matters.”

She said: “I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating. I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better.
“I’m just not — I’m not done.”

During an appearance on her ‘90210MG’ podcast with Tori Spelling, Jennie explained: “It made me feel very fearful, especially just with Luke dying and now Shannen. I just feel like, I don’t know, it could be any of us [that] could go at any moment. That kind of feeling … yeah, that’s scary.”
Jennie went on to admit she still felt totally “shocked” by Shannen’s death even though she had spent many years fighting cancer.
She added: “It’s crazy that we could be shocked knowing that she was sick and knowing how hard she was fighting, but it still felt shocking … [I] never thought [she] would succumb to cancer …
“It was just shocking and makes you p*****, mad, sad, all the feelings because and then [you’re] like, ‘What the f***?’ Because she’s the one person that you didn’t see this happening to”.
Her co-star and podcast co-host Tori, 51, admitted she felt different after Shannen died – insisting she wasn’t fearful but just felt incredibly sad for her friend, who had been going through a divorce at the time of her death.
She added: “I didn’t feel fear at all when she passed. I just felt sad. I felt sad for the second chapter she had, and I was so excited for that chapter for her and wanted her so badly to have that.”
Shannen’s divorce from Kurt Iswarienko was finalised two days after her death. She passed away on July 13 – a day after reaching a settlement with her estranged husband – and the case was signed off by a judge two days after she died to grant her a rare posthumous divorce on 15 July.

Hailey went on to admit she “probably could have” kept the pregnancy a secret all the way through to the birth, but she didn’t like keeping such big news quiet.
She added: “I probably could have hid it until the end. But I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly. I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”

Mary-Kate Olsen used to struggle with fame and found it ‘too much to handle’, says insider

OHMYGOSSIP — Mary-Kate Olsen used to struggle with the “public nature” of her fame.
The 38-year-old former actress shot to fame as a child alongside her twin sister Ashley when they shared the role of Michelle Tanner on ‘Full House’ in the late 1980s before going on to further success in their teen years with a string of films and TV shows but an insider has claimed that once she reached adulthood, she found it all “too much” to handle.
An insider close Mary-Kate told this week’s edition of Us Weekly: “Mary-Kate was very clear about hating the paparazzi and the public nature of what her career as a child star had brought her. She felt hounded. It was too much to handle.”
The ‘Two of a Kind’ star – who was married to Olivier Sarkozy from 2015 until 2021 – and her sister haven’t appeared in a film together since ‘New York Minute’ in 2004 and these days work in the field of fashion.
Meanwhile, Ashley tied the knot with Louis Eisner in 2022 and they have Otto, 11 months, together.
But during the height of their childhood fame, the twins were at the centre of the Dualstar entertainment company, through which they released much of their direct-to-video films such as ‘Passport to Paris’ and ‘Our Lips Are Sealed’.
Their former publicist Michael Pagnotta told the outlet: “There was no precedent for what we did. They were in charge. When they decided to bail on all the entertainment stuff and move into fashion, I think that’s why they felt they had some credibility.”
Meanwhile, it was also claimed that the twins wanted to “prove something” when they moved into fashion.
A former employee of Dualstar noted: “I think at some point, they wanted to prove something. Because they were TV stars when they were kids, no one really took them seriously when they launched the collection. Now it’s really the only celebrity collection that’s relevant.”

Ian Gillan used meditation to curb his ‘irresponsible behaviour’

OHMYGOSSIP — Deep Purple’s Ian Gillan turned to meditation to curb his “irresponsible behaviour”.
The 78-year-old rocker has opened up about his wild ways during the band’s hey day – insisting he wasn’t into hard drugs but he did enjoy all-night boozy benders – but he realised he needed to make a huge change if he wanted to be able to continue to make music and he turned to meditation to control his smoking and drinking.
He told the Independent newspaper: “At an early stage in my life I decided I had to change. I was too wild and there were things going on that were just not good if I wanted to have a future as a musician.
“I started meditation at that point and I found a lot of things that you could control. That was important, to start meditating and clear the decks of a load of the irresponsible behaviour, if you’re going to survive.
“It’s pretty important to get on top of things. You got to deliver, whether you’re on stage that night or whether you’re writing 14 songs. There’s no point laying around being drunk.”
“You can’t survive if you keep going through life like that, your body can’t take it. So you’ve got to be practical in a physical sense. It blows your mind too. You evolve or die.”
He added of his previous antics: “I wasn’t a drunk. I just used to enjoy a drink and I was in company that did – pretty much everyone did. We didn’t do drugs so we just did booze. And you obviously can’t perform if you’re legless so you wait until afterwards. There’s a certain element of discipline there which is more along the lines of self-survival than anything else.”
Gillan added: “To be a 40-year-old rebel … that’s not very rock’n’roll.”

Sam went on to reveal the pair have known each over for more than 40 years. He added of their friendship: “Bryan and I have been friends since 1980, I think it is.

He told Twopaddocks.com: “Yes [we met at a party] and you were impressed because I left with three girls’.

Sam underwent chemotherapy treatment after his cancer diagnosis but it stopped working after three months and he switched his treatment to a rare anti-cancer drug which led to him going into remission.
Despite being cancer-free, he was required to have infusions every two weeks, however, he previously admitted he;s aware the drug won’t continue working indefinitely.
He told Australian Story: “I’m prepared for that.”
Sam added of his cancer: “I know I’ve got it, but I’m not really interested in it. It’s out of my control. If you can’t control it, don’t get into it.”

Speaking to Sky News after the tome’s release, he said: “The cancer thing came out as a corollary to the release of the book, which is a memoir that I wrote when I was under chemo. I’m doing absolutely fine now. What was slightly annoying was that the story was sort of ‘cancer, cancer, cancer, cancer’, and really the other half of the story is ‘remission, remission and remission – and I’m absolutely fine.”

He told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I was chatting today with Joel, whose baby is ten months old, and Joe, who has a six- week-old.
“I’m sort of in that ballpark now. We’re like a little DILF club.”

The ‘Troublemaker’ singer revealed just before his daughter was born that he was still keen to pursue music as a career but was going to be taking some time off while adjusted to the life change.

Chet Hanks found it ‘difficult’ to manage his life before going sober

OHMYGOSSIP — Chet Hanks’ life has become “extremely easy” since he achieved sobriety.
The 33-year-old actor – who is the son of Hollywood stars Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson – has previously been through rehab for addiction and as he prepares to show the world that he is “just a regular guy” on the new reality show ‘Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets’, he admitted that he only found life “difficult” before he made the decision to live alcohol-free almost three years ago.
He told People: “I’m ready for people to see that I’m just a regular guy. That’s why I signed up for ‘Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets’. It was honestly one of the best experiences of my life, and I’m not just saying that. I had a blast, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
“There was a little drama, but not much!
“One hundred percent. None of this would be possible without sobriety. It’s not difficult at all. What’s difficult is when you’re trying to manage your life and you’re not sober, that’s what’s difficult. When you just commit and decide and you stick to it, it’s not even something that you negotiate with. It’s just a non-negotiable. And life becomes extremely easy.”
The former ‘Empire’ star is looking forward to making a return to acting as he gears up to star opposite Kate Hudson in the Netflix drama ‘Running Point’ and also releasing some new music in the near future.
He said: “I have a new big role on a Netflix show with Kate Hudson, that will be out around January.
“I have a great character in it, a great role. It’s a comedy, so it’s funny and I get to be comedic. I also signed a record deal, and I’m getting ready to put out some new music, and it’s different than anything that I’ve ever released.”

The 41-year-old star was married to Tarek, 42, in the years before she married Josh Hall but now that they have split up, he has admitted that himself and his new wife will be there for whatever she may need going forward.
Tarek told E! News: “S*** happens. We got one shot at life and we gotta do what’s best for us, so whatever she needs, we’re here to help.”
Heather, 36, – who is best known for appearing on the Netflix hit ‘Selling Sunset’ – will join Tarek and Heather in a competition version of their old HGTV show ‘Flip or Flop’ and insisted that her co-star will “get through” the tough times and joked that they might even “gang up” on Tarek.
She said: “The show might be us against her now. But we support her and she will get through this. We do like to gang up on [Tarek] though!”
Documents seen by E! News earlier this month confirmed that Christina and Josh – who tied the knot in 2022 – had decided to go their separate ways.
The documents also show that Josh will be “asking for alimony from Christina and wants the court to eliminate her ability to collect from him” and has “divvy up what was theirs respectively before they got hitched”.
Christina – who has Taylor, 13, and son Braydon, eight, with Tarek , as well as four-year-old Hudson with second husband Ant Antstead while Tarek now has 17-month-old son Tristan with Heather- is yet to comment publicly on the split but she recently made it clear that she and Josh were not planning to add to her brood.
An Instagram user commented underneath a series of professional black-and-white snaps of the family: “Is that baby #4 I see peeping through?”
Christina sarcastically replied: “No. It’s called not sucking in my tummy after having three kids.”
Another user wrote: “Fingers crossed that 2024 brings baby #4.”

Maluma admits ‘everything has changed’ since he became a dad: ‘I want to live forever…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Maluma wants to “live forever” for the sake of his daughter.
The 30-year-old rap star – whose real name is Juan Luis Londoño Arias – became a dad for the first time when his girlfriend Susana Gomez gave birth to Paris in July last year and admitted that “everything” has changed in his life since and he wants to “conquer the world” every day.
Asked how his life is different now, he told Allure: “Everything changed. And I love it. Now, I wake up every day with the desire to conquer the world. I know I have to fucking kill it. For Paris, nothing is impossible. You have to lead by example. I go to bed every night that I can at 9 and wake up at 5:30 to hit the gym because I want to be healthy. You want to live forever for your kids. I want to make her proud.”
The ‘Hawái ‘ hitmaker – who shot to fame in 2011 with his hit single ‘Farandulera’ and the debut of his album ‘Magia’ – also noted that while the “essence” of his image of a bad boy on stage still remains to some extent, he is “more mature” since becoming a dad and is managing to find the balance between his public persona and family life, even though it can be “difficult” at times.
He said: “It’s still the same essence, but more mature I would say, and more chill. I’m just vibing. I’m having fun being with my family, but I’m also having fun being onstage. I’m doing things that I love, and finally, I feel like I’m on the right path. It’s difficult to find that balance, but I’m there. I’m there and working for it.”

Keanu Reeves’ knee ‘cracked like a potato chip’ in freak accident

OHMYGOSSIP — Keanu Reeves’ knee “cracked like a potato chip” in a freak accident when he tripped on a piece of carpet on a movie set.
The ‘John Wick’ star, 59, suffered a fractured kneecap after falling over while filming his new comedy movie ‘Good Fortune’ and he was later pictured walking on crutches with an ice pack strapped to his leg – and Keanu has now revealed the injury happened when he took a tumble following an ice bath.
During an appearance on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’, Keanu explained: “I was filming a scene with Aziz Ansari and Seth Rogen and we were in a cold plunge.
“I was loving it, I was standing there, and we finish the scene, and you know when you’re cold and you’re [shuffling]? I had a bathing suit and a towel, and you put it over your head and you do the cold shuffle?
“I’m doing the cold shuffle in this room that had protective carpets down and then, just here, there was like a little pocket, and my foot got caught in the pocket in the shuffle, and then I went [down], but [my knee] didn’t follow.
“And then, in slow motion, I went falling. My arms came out, but then my knee failed because it’s got some stuff, and I spiked it. And my patella – kneecap – cracked like a potato chip.”
Initially, Keanu was convinced he was fine following the fall but he later realised something was wrong because his knee was “blowing up”. He quipped: “Comedy’s hard, man.”
