OHMYGOSSIP — Alexa PenaVega’s husband was “a little jealous” of her filming love scenes.
The 35-year-old actress has been married to Carlos PenaVega, 34, since 2014 but revealed that during the early days of their relationship, he would struggle with the idea of her having to perform intimate scenes as part of her work.
She told Fox News Digital: “So, years ago, Carlos would get a little jealous, but I think the more confident and comfortable, and honestly the closer we got to God, the more our roles started shifting with what we were taking. But, also, I think there’s just so much trust in our relationship that there was never a need to be, like, threatened by anybody else.”
The ‘Spy Kids’ actress – who was initially married to Sean Covel from 2010 until 2012 but has Ocean, seven, Kingston, four, and two-year-old Rio with Carlos – is now gearing up to co-star with her husband in an as-yet-untiled Christian film and while religion is important to her, does not want to dedicate her career solely to faith-based projects.
She said: “So, we’re in this half-and-half place. We think faith-based films are really important, but I think, more importantly, are movies that are for the world, but they’re made by kingdom-hearted people because we don’t want to just make Christian movies,”
“We want to make movies that just have so much, so much behind them, so much meaning, to where you walk away and feel really good and don’t even know why.
“It’s because everything in the movie is really coming from a kingdom heart, but we’re talking about real world things. I think it’s really easy for Christian films to come across as cheesy, a cookie cutter, when, honestly, the Christian life is hard.”

OHMYGOSSIP — A suspect in the foiled Taylor Swift concert terror plot started working at the venue just days before.
The 34-year-old pop star was due to play three gigs in Vienna, Austria from Thursday (08.08.24), but the concerts were cancelled on Wednesday (07.08.24) due to a planned attack at the Ernst Happel Stadium.
Officials have revealed a 17-year-old boy suspected to be behind the plot started working at the arena days before the cancellation.
It’s said he was employed days ago by a facilities company providing services at the stadium during the shows, while he was arrested by special police forces nearby.
A second suspect, aged 19, has also been arrested.
According to Omar Haijawi-Pirchner, head of the Directorate of State Security and Intelligence, the suspect wanted to take his own life and kill “a large crowd at the concert either today or tomorrow”.
Weapons were found outside the stadium, while Haijawi-Pirchner said the older suspect was “clearly radicalised in the direction of the Islamic State (IS) and thinks it is right to kill infidels”.
In a statement posted on Instagram on Wednesday (07.08.24), concert organisers Barracuda Music said: “Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour Vienna shows cancelled due to government officials confirmation of planned terrorist attack.
“With confirmation from government officials of a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety.”
The police investigation centred on the town of Ternitz, where one of the suspects lives with their family. The 19-year-old suspect was arrested before their home was searched and almost half of the town was evacuated.
Ruf confirmed during the press conference that investigators found “chemical substances” that are currently being tested.
What’s more, the authorities claim to have unearthed detailed plans of the proposed terror attack.
Taylor was due to perform at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna on August 8, 9, and 10, with a large number of fans travelling from overseas to see the pop star in action.
Event organisers have confirmed that ticket holders will receive a full refund.

She told E! News: “Co-parenting is definitely something to navigate.
“I think we do a really good job at it because Zydn is the happiest baby. He is so smart and just lovable.
“I feel like that’s a testament to our own success of co-parenting, especially being bicoastal. He’s working on the East Coast, and I’m working on the West Coast, so Zydn is getting a lot of travel time.”
She admitted that having to find compromises for the sake of their son is a positive for the former couple.
She added: “It teaches both of us to become better humans. You’re working with somebody else’s schedule and you’re responsible for a whole other human.”
The parents – who dated from 2019 to 2023 – are making things work, and have moved on from “a state of self-interest”.
She insisted it’s been “fun navigating” their new lives, with her and Odell both growing “from that” as time has gone on.
She said: “Until we’re completely responsible for another human being, we live in a state of self-interest and self-perspective. It changes overnight the moment we have our kids.”
Meanwhile, Lolo sees motherhood as a superpower, as her “capabilities [have] multiplied”.
She said: “My Zydn hemisphere is the fastest, most creative, problem-solving part of my brain. I’m entertaining, I’m animated, I’m engaged all the time.”
Since their breakup, Odell had a fling with Kim Kardashian, but their romance “fizzled out”, according to People magazine.
Another insider told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Kim and Odell have been doing their own things lately. Kim is so busy and hasn’t been putting any pressure on herself to be committed to anyone or in a serious relationship.
“She is all about being a hands-on mom. Kim and Odell have always been open and honest about their future, whether that be together or separate.

The princess turned 36 on Thursday (08.08.24) and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, has paid a heartfelt tribute to her daughter to mark her special day.
Sharing a photo of herself kissing the top of Beatrice’s head, the duchess wrote: “Happy birthday my wonderful Beatrice.

The 57-year-old model, actress and activist has adopted more of a makeup free lifestyle in recent years, and she admitted stepping back from Hollywood and away from her sex symbol status was a conscious decision.
Reflecting on her natural look at Paris Fashion Week last year, she told Better Homes and Gardens magazine: “That was the beginning of me letting go of the image I had always had of myself.
“What is this cartoon character that I’d created? OK, that was fun. But I’m not that person anymore.”
The ‘Baywatch’ star was also keen to “challenge the idea of beauty and this mask we put on”.
She insisted she “didn’t think anyone would even notice” the change, but her world has “opened up”.
She added: “As soon as I took the mask off, the whole world opened up.

“Then I thought, Who am I competing with? I was appreciating it as this girl who lives on Vancouver Island that got plopped into these glamorous clothes.
“And I felt like this little freckle-faced kid with a big, beautiful Vivienne Westwood hat on.”
Pamela is glad to be have moved away from the “pneumatic kind of image” people have of her.
She explained: “As much as I threw every dinner party and cooked all those meals for family and my kids, it wasn’t what was seen publicly. But I also played into the image that was created around me.
“I’m glad I did all that, but I’m really glad I’m where I am now.

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Pfeiffer has been cast as the lead in a ‘Yellowstone’ spin-off.
The 66-year-old actress is set to star in and executive produce ‘The Madison’, which is scheduled to premiere in 2025.
Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Co-CEO, said in a statement: “Michelle Pfeiffer is a remarkable talent who imbues every role with emotional depth, authenticity and grace.
“She is the perfect anchor to the newest chapter of the ‘Yellowstone’ universe, ‘Madison’, from the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan.”
Production on the show is set to begin in late August, with filming to take place in Montana, New York and Texas.
The spin-off will premiere after ‘Yellowstone’ wraps up its fifth and final season.
‘Yellowstone’ has been a huge success since the show premiered in 2018.
But Kevin Costner – who played John Dutton – was previously forced to deny that his exit from the show was due to a falling out with Taylor Sheridan, the co-creator of ‘Yellowstone’.
Kevin, 69, told Deadline in May: “I have taken a beating from those f****** guys and I know a lot of times where it’s coming from.
“I just elected not to get into that. But if you know me well enough, I made ‘Yellowstone’ the first priority, and to insinuate anything else would be wrong. I did not initiate any of those things. They did.
“I left exactly when they wanted, and it made it hard on me. It turns out they didn’t have the scripts for 5B. They needed four more days just to complete the first eight episodes. I left early to give them what they needed to have a complete eight, and I felt bad that the audience didn’t get ten.”

The 29-year-old TV star took a year off from dating following her 2023 cheating scandal, but Rachel has now revealed that she’s once again open to finding love.
She told Us Weekly: “I am open to dating now but I did take a year off.
“During that time I was like, ‘I am never dating again. I have no interest in men. I never see myself dating again.’ But I feel like I’ve reached a place in my life where I’m healed enough.”
Rachel was widely criticised after it emerged that she has a months-long affair with Tom Sandoval, her former ‘Vanderpump Rules’ co-star.
But Rachel now has a completely different approach towards dating and her love life.
She said: “I am prioritising different things going forward with dating. It’s important for me to be in a relationship eventually with somebody who has a healthy relationship with their family.
“Childhood is where you’re learning so much about the world and that’s structuring who you are as a person and I just think that that translates well into a functional adult. So just making sure that that person is healed – and looking for the red flags – I’ve worked a lot with my therapist to be able to recognise those red flags. Then making sure that I’m not like falling head over heels immediately with somebody right before getting to know them.”
Asked what she’s specifically looking for in a partner, Rachel replied: “Green flag is definitely someone with a healthy family. That’s the number one priority on my list right now.
“Also someone who has a steady career and someone who has invested their time into their career and having a purpose with what they do in life. If that’s fuelling their soul then that’s something that I find very attractive.
“Someone who loves nature as much as I do, someone who’s kind of respectful and not a narcissist. If you are not a narcissist, that’s a green flag.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Blake Shelton is set to stage a mini-residency in Las Vegas.
The 48-year-old singer has announced plans to perform his ‘Live in Las Vegas’ show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in 2025.
Blake – who is married to music star Gwen Stefani – told PEOPLE: “It’s been swirling for years now, and ever since the idea was first floated about opening an Ole Red in Las Vegas, this conversation has been happening too.
“If you’re going to have a stake in Las Vegas, you got to do a residency also if you’re an artist. I’ve just been kicking the can down the road because I wanted the Ole Red to be open before I did it.”
Blake’s run of shows in Las Vegas will begin on February 5 and end on February 15.
In 2022, Blake announced his decision to quit as a coach on ‘The Voice’.
The country music singer – who made his debut on the TV show back in 2011 – said in a statement at the time: “I’ve been wrestling with this for a while and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from ‘The Voice’ after season 23.
“This show has changed my life in every way for the better and it will always feel like home to me. It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns and I want to thank everyone at ‘The Voice’ from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people, you are the best.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Damon has learned to love the “sarcasm and cynicism” of Boston culture.
The 53-year-old actor – who was born and raised in Massachusetts – admitted that Boston’s culture can feel a little “abrasive” to people who aren’t from the city.
He told PEOPLE: “The sense of humour and the way that people just tend to look at the world back here, really fun when you come from it because you know what it is.”
Matt acknowledged that the sense of humour can actually be a bit off-putting for some people.
He reflected: “It can feel abrasive to people who aren’t from here. But when you’re from here, it feels like, you know, a comfortable pair of socks.”
Despite this, Matt observed that Boston, and the US more generally, has changed markedly since his childhood.
He said: “Boston has changed a lot.
“It’s really not the city that we grew up in … The whole country has changed. There’s been so much change in the culture.
“On the other hand, it’s the place I still feel more at home than anywhere else. So that says something about what a place does to you when you’re growing. I’ll forever be connected to this place no matter how much it changes.”

And Ben relished the experience of working with his showbiz pal on ‘Air’, the 2023 sports drama.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nina Dobrev “was in a depression” after her electric dirt bike accident.
The 35-year-old actress tore her anterior cruciate ligament and her meniscus in the accident, and Nina has now confessed that she “had a really hard time” during her recovery.
Nina – who also broke her knee in the accident – told E! News: “With the pain meds and the physical pain that you’re going through and not being able to walk and seeing everybody gallivanting across Europe on Instagram, enjoying the summer and I’m sitting in bed … It was just mentally, it was really challenging. Even the pain meds mess with your head.
“I definitely was in a depression. I had a really hard time.”
However, Nina feels that her support network of friends and family have helped her to emerge from her “funk”.
She said: “So many of my friends came over, brought flowers, brought food, watched movies with me. Gave me neck massages. Took care of me. And so it really helped pull me out of that funk.”
Nina now plans to stay away from dirt bikes, and she admits that the accident has made her more cautious.
The actress – who has been in a relationship with Olympic gold medallist Shaun White since 2020 – shared: “I feel like I have a fear now.
“I used to be so adventurous and down to do anything. And now, since the injury, maybe it’s because I’m still healing and it’s a nine-month process. I’m only on month three-and-a-half of nine months.
“I’m still having to relearn how to walk and so the idea of getting back to the snowboard or getting on a dirt bike ever again is definitely not happening.”

The 31-year-old pop star appreciates having the support of her fans, but she’s also aware that they always “want more of [her]”.
The award-winning star – who has a huge following on social media – said on ‘Hot Ones’: “It’s so lovely to be loved. But yeah, I sit somewhere in between being grateful to be here at all and being like, ‘But really? Come on.'”
Ariana initially struggled to cope with the expectations of her fans.
The singer – who is one of the best-selling artists in the world – explained: “That’s like a natural thing that all artists can probably relate to.
“But seeing [fans’] reaction to it also kind of replaces that … There was a time when it was hard for me to feel that same gratitude that I do now for certain songs and for the music because I think some of it was a stressful time.”

The 31-year-old rap star – who is currently pregnant with her third child – has revealed via social media that she recently suffered a health scare that left her fearing for the life of her unborn baby.
Cardi – who already has Wave, two, and Kulture, six, with her estranged husband Offset – said on X: “I had a f****** freak accident.
“I don’t know how something, well, it wasn’t little. It actually hurt.
“It doesn’t really happen often, but it became something that is so big to the point I was literally paralysed. But yeah. And that little thing almost cost me my little one to come. But it didn’t. Yesterday I was feeling good. I came home, but I came home high as a kite.
“Today, I woke up sober, honey. I’m dying. Like, I’m dying.
“I swear to God, if I don’t feel good in four hours I’m going to the hospital and I don’t give a f***. I’mma exaggerate this s*** so I can get more morphine. Morphine me down! I don’t give a damn. Oh my God.”
Cardi only recently announced her pregnancy via a post on social media.

OHMYGOSSIP — Colin Jost has left the Olympic Games in Tahiti because of injury and illness.
The 42-year-old comedian has been working as NBC’s Olympics Surfing Correspondent during the Games, but Colin has been forced to quit his role, after sustaining a foot injury, and then suffering a staph infection and an ear infection.
A rep for NBC told USA Today: “Colin stayed longer than originally planned. The competition ran long due to weather. He had a great time, and everyone was thrilled with his coverage from Tahiti.”
Colin – who is married to movie star Scarlett Johansson – previously revealed via social media that he’d injured his toes whilst covering the Olympics Games.
The ‘Saturday Night Live’ star sustained a painful injury while walking barefoot around a reef in Tahiti.
Alongside a snap of his bandaged toes, Colin wrote on Instagram: “You know it’s going great when you’ve been to the Olympic medical tent more than any of the athletes.”
The TV star – who loves to surf in his spare time – subsequently joked: “This might ruin my WikiFeet score but I just arrived in Tahiti for the surfing Olympics and the reef was excited to greet me.”
Colin later revealed that he’d suffered an ear infection, explaining that it was the latest problem to add to his “growing list of ailments”.
The comedy star quipped: “My new goal by the time I leave here is to have as many infections as there are Olympic events.”
Despite this, Colin insisted that in spite of his health troubles, he was actually enjoying himself on the island.
He added: “Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price has been arrested after failing to attend a court hearing.
The 46-year-old star – who recently failed to attend a hearing relating to her bankruptcies – was arrested at Heathrow Airport on Thursday (08.08.24), as she made her return to the UK.
Price has been remanded in custody, and she’s now due to appear at the Royal Courts of Justice on Friday.
The former glamour model was recently spotted in Turkey with bandages on her face, and it’s thought that she flew to the country in order to undergo surgery.
In July, an arrest warrant was issued for Price after she failed to attend a court hearing.
The TV star was scheduled to appear at a bankruptcy court in London on July 30, having previously been warned that she must attend the hearing or face being arrested.
Insolvency and Companies Court judge Catherine Burton confirmed that Price has been given “very clear warnings” about what would happen if she failed to attend the hearing.
The judge added: “It is in my judgement necessary that the court issue a warrant for Ms Price’s arrest.
“She has no real excuse in failing to attend today’s hearing. The reason for her absence today is irrelevant.”
Barrister Darragh Connell, who represents the trustee for Price’s two bankruptcies, confirmed to the court that Price will be detained to ensure that she attends a hearing at a future date.
He said that Price would “not be kept in custody for a long period of time”.
He added: “Her liberty is on the line, but unfortunately we are at the end of the road in relation to this matter.”
Price was declared bankrupt in 2019 and again in March over an unpaid tax bill worth more than £750,000.
However, she previously questioned the logic of sending her to prison.
She said: “It would cost them more money to put me in prison than out.”

The 31-year-old pop star has been a vegan since 2013, and Ariana has joked that her family “don’t want to remember” that she abstains from eating meat.
During an appearance on ‘Hot Ones’, Ariana shared: “It’s so funny because my family always forgets [that she’s vegan] … I don’t think they forget, I think they don’t want to remember.”
Ariana revealed that her grandmother still offers her meat at the dining table.
