OHMYGOSSIP — Mindy Kaling has told Ben Affleck to “hang in there”.
The comic and actress, 45, was speaking at the 2024 Democratic National Convention and referenced the recent divorce filing made by the 52-year-old actor’s wife Jennifer Lopez, 55, while she was “giving a shout-out” to the “amazing delegation from my home state, Massachusetts”.
She said in her speech: “I love you, Massachusetts! Everyone is always hating on us, but they just don’t get it!”
“Go (Red) Sox! Go Jayson Tatum! Ben Affleck, hang in there!”
She also referenced Ben’s recent TV adverts for Dunkin’, adding: “Dunkin’ Donuts is the best coffee in the world!”
Ben’s wife Jennifer filed for divorce from him after more than two years of marriage on Tuesday (20.08.24.)
She lodged her submission for their split without a lawyer in Los Angeles County Superior Court, and listed 26 April, 2024 as their date of separation.
Marilyn Chinitz, a matrimonial partner at the Blank Rome LLP firm, told People about Jennifer’s decision to file without legal support: “I think that she most likely just wanted to get this done, (that) there was a lot of hesitation and hemming and hawing back and forth, and it’s a statement: ‘I’m moving forward, I’m filing and I’m doing it on my own.’”
The date of Jennifer’s filing coincided with the second anniversary of her and Ben’s wedding ceremony in Georgia in 2022.
A source added to People about her filing: “She was done waiting and the date she (filed on) speaks a tonne.”
Ben was spotted without his wedding ring on Tuesday as he walked around Los Angeles.
Another insider told People Jennifer is “very disappointed” and “sad”, but said Ben “hasn’t given her any signs that he wants to continue their marriage”.
They went on: “He hasn’t shown any commitment and interest in making their marriage work.
“It’s gotten to the point that she just needs to look out for herself.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Matthew Perry said taking ketamine was like “being hit in the head” with a “giant happy shovel” a year before he was killed by the drug.
The tormented ‘Friends’ actor – who shot to fame playing Chandler Bing on the NBC sitcom from 1994 to 2004 – was killed on 28 October, 2023, aged 54 from the “acute effects” of the anaesthetic after getting into the hot-tub of his $6million mansion in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles while high on three doses of the substance, with five people now indicted over his passing.
An extract about the drug from Matthew’s 2022 memoir ‘Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing’ – which dealt with his years of addiction – has resurfaced since their arrests.
In a section of the book in which the actor wrote about using ketamine therapy to treat his depression, he said its numbing effect was like “being hit in the head with a giant happy shovel”.
He added: “(It) has my name written all over it – they might as well have called it ‘Matty’.
“Ketamine felt like a giant exhale. They’d bring me into a room, sit me down, put headphones on me so I would listen to music, blindfold me, and put an IV in.”
Matthew said the drip contained Ativan and ketamine, and he would lie down for an hour while it flowed into his bloodstream.
He went on: “I would disassociate, see things – I’d been in therapy for so long that I wasn’t even freaked out by this: ‘Oh, there’s a horse over there? Fine – might as well be’.
“As the music played and the K ran through me, it all became about the ego, and the death of the ego.
“I often thought that I was dying during that hour. ‘Oh,’ I thought, ‘this is what happens when you die’.
“Yet I would continually sign up for this s*** because it was something different, and anything different is good.”
Even though he was a fan of the drug’s effects – and despite him going on to take the drug after saying he was clean in promotional interviews for his book – Matthew insisted in his autobiography “ketamine was not for me”.
He added: “(The) hangover was rough… (I) felt like a f****** pin cushion.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jane Fonda shared her “concerns” about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s marriage two years before the couple’s split.
The Oscar-winning actress, 86, has spent years being protective of Jennifer, and after the singer filed to divorce Ben, 52, on Tuesday (20.08.24) alerts she raised about their romance have resurfaced that she first shared in J Lo’s 2022 documentary ‘The Greatest Love Story Never Told’.
Jane is seen in the film first stressing she “really, really, really” wanted the couple’s relationship to “work” and saying she was “invested” in its success.
But she warned: “It feels too much like you’re trying to prove something instead of just living it.
“You know, every other photograph is the two of you kissing and the two of you hugging.”
Jennifer, who co-starred with Jane in the 2005 film ‘Monster-in-Law’, insisted: “That’s just us living our life.”

Hinting at trouble with him coping with the level of attention on Jennifer, the ‘Gone Girl’ actor admitted they were “trying to learn to compromise” on “boundaries”, especially “around the press”.
Jennifer filed for divorce from Ben, who co-starred with her in flop film ‘Jersey Girl’ the same day she married the actor in Georgia two years earlier.
She listed their date of separation as 26 April, with a source telling Page Six Jennifer feels “furious” and “humiliated” as Ben “was the one who initiated” their romantic reunion in 2021.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga has got a new pup three years after her dognapping horror.
The 38-year-old singer and actress was left shaken in February 2021 when her dog walker friend was shot and critically injured while two of her French Bulldogs – Koji and Gustav – were stolen in a street attack on Sierra Bonita Avenue, Hollywood.
She has now showed off her new pet in a TikTok video that showed her lip-syncing to Bruno Mars’ ‘Die with a Smile’ as it played over the clip while she held a black French Bulldog in her lap.
Gaga mouthed in the footage: “If the world was ending, I’d wanna be next to you” – and despite showing off the new addition to her household, did not reveal the dog’s name.
After the performer’s dogs were nabbed, a woman returned them safe and well to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Olympic Community Police Station two days after the incident.
In April 2021, five suspects were arrested in connection with the shooting and dognapping.
One of the suspects, James Howard Jackson, pled no contest to attempted murder with great bodily injury and was sentenced to 21 years in prison as part of a plea deal.
Gaga’s injured dog walker Ryan Fischer, 35, told ‘CBS Mornings’ months after the attack he was left in agony after the attack.
He said: “I was scared, I was in pain. I had a feeling, when they came up (and) pulled the gun on me that I was going to end up being shot, ’cause in my mind I was like, ‘There’s no way that I’m not going to fight for these dogs’.”
Ryan added about Gaga: “She’s helped me so much. She’s been a friend for me and after I was attacked – my family was flown out and I had trauma therapists flown to me and I stayed at her house for months while friends comforted me and security was around me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Guillermo del Toro has been spooked by an “angry” ghost while staying at a hotel in Scotland.
The Hollywood director has been filming his new ‘Frankenstein’ movie in Aberdeen and has been staying in the “most haunted” room of an old hotel after a member of his crew moved out because she was left terrified by the ghoulish goings-on – and he’s been busy investigating the haunting.
In a post on X – previously known as Twitter – he wrote: “Whilst in Aberdeen, I am staying in an old 1800’s hotel. I am in the most haunted room of it – which was vacated this morning by one of our producers.
“Odd electrical and physical occurrences scared her into leaving asap. Stay tuned – if anything happens I will report.”
He later updated his followers admitting he hadn’t witnessed any strange phenomena, but he decided against sleeping in the room because of its “oppressive” atmosphere and he’s convinced there’s “something” in there with him.
Guillermo added: “UPDATE- I can only say: Nothing has happened yet, but the atmosphere in the room is oppressive and I am not gonna spend much more time there.
“It may be suggestion, but at this point I kept it but am sleeping in another room – I need 6 hours of sleep to have a good shooting day – I’m stopping there early and late in the day – but something is in that room with me … If anything happens or nothing does expect one or two more updates.”
After wrapping filming on Thursday (22.08.24), the director went back to the haunted room and later revealed he could feel an “angry” presence.
He wrote: “Finished the shooting day. Going into the room now – dinner at 8:00 Anything happens and I will update. The room has more than vibes there is something angry and territorial there. A shred of rage. Room #4.”
The moviemaker attempted to record electronic voice phenomena (EVP) on his phone and tried taking a picture in the mirror to catch the spook on camera, but he was unable to obtain any evidence of the spook.
He returned to X on Friday morning (23.08.24) to admit defeat but he vowed to return to the room in the future to investigate further, He wrote: “No sounds or sights happened – but just an oppressive vibe – Room #4 I shall return … Life is unstructured – no grand finale.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nev Schulman is back on his feet after breaking his neck when he was knocked off his bike by a truck.
The ‘Catfish’ star was rushed to hospital earlier this month after he was involved in a terrifying accident on the way to pick his son up from school and he needed emergency spinal surgery after sustaining a number of “stable fractures” – but Nev has now revealed he’s up and walking again after the crash.
Sharing a video of himself walking around wearing a neck brace on Instagram, Nev explained: “It’s been two weeks since I broke my neck and had emergency spine surgery. And I thought I’d get on here [and] just give you all a quick little update.
“As you can see, I’m up and about. Finishing a little neighbourhood stroll,” he said, “which was recommended to me by my physical therapist to keep my body moving.
“I never had such fatigue from a 10-minute walk but I’m almost home now. I mainly just wanted to get on here to say thank you.”
Nev went on to thank all the medical staff at the hospital in New York where he was treated after the crash as well as all his friends and family for supporting him as he recovers from his injuries.
He added: “Thank you to the doctors and nurses at Stony Brook [hospital]. Thank you my family and friends for all the amazing support that I’ve been given and felt deeply for the past two weeks. And thank you so much to you guys.
“The support and love that I’ve been getting online has been really, really incredible. It meant so much to me. So thank you, really, from the bottom of my heart.
“If I’ve learned anything in the last two weeks, it’s to really appreciate what you have. Because you can lose it in a second. You can lose it in a second.”
In a previous update after the accident, Nev revealed he was lucky not to have been left paralysed and is now expected to make a full recovery.
Nev – who is dad to Cleo, seven, Beau, five, and two-year-old Cy with wife Laura Perlongo – said of the accident: “I never made it to pick up my son from school on the bike. In fact in some ways, I’m glad I didn’t. I was alone on impact. Me and the truck. And then I guess the pavement.
“I was alone and unconscious. And then conscious. Maybe I was fine (I wasn’t). Maybe I can still do my long run on Thursday (I couldn’t).
“I broke my neck. C5 and C6 to be exact. Stable fractures. I’m not paralysed. My hands were a question mark there for a minute but the human body is incredible and so are HUMANS [sic].”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ozzy Osbourne is mourning the loss of his beloved dog Rocky.
The Black Sabbath legend has been left devastated after the Osbourne family’s pet pooch sadly passed away after giving them 15 years of companionship.
He wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of him with his Pomeranian sidekick: “Two days ago I lost my good friend Rocky who has been at my side for 15 years. I’ll see you on the other side my friend. I love you always – Ozzy.”
Wife Sharon, 71, wrote: “We lost an OG and Ozzy’s partner in crime ~ Rest Easy Rocky.”
Their daughter Kelly, 39, posted: “Rocky was my dad’s sidekick for 15 years. I don’t know what it will be like to go home and not find him there. Rest in peace, sweet prince.”
The 75-year-old rocker – who suffers from Parkinson’s and poor mobility due to a spine injury – spends most of his time at home due to his poor health.
Sharon recently said he won’t tour again but is keen to “say goodbye” to his fans with a few one-off performances.
Speaking at her live show at London’s The Fortune Theatre in June, she said: “He won’t tour again but we are planning on doing two more shows to say goodbye as he feels like, ‘I have never said goodbye to my fans and I want to say goodbye.’
“His voice is still absolutely perfect. And all the time he has been off he still does his singing lessons. Even if you don’t like his music, you can’t not like Ozzy.”
Sharon also dropped a huge hint that Ozzy will play the two gigs in Aston, Birmingham, at Villa Park, the home of Premier League giants Aston Villa.
She said: “We will do it in Aston Villa where Ozzy is from.”

OHMYGOSSIP — A$AP Rocky has praised Rihanna for her “understanding” when life gets “hectic”.
The 35-year-old rapper and the 36-year-old Fenty founder and singer juggle their careers with being parents to their two young boys – RZA, two, and 12-month-old Riot – and it can be hard sometimes to “find balance” but the hip-hop star insists there is no one more “perfect” to do it all with than the ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker.
He told Billboard: “It’s crazy how we find balance with our chaotic schedules. [The relationship] is going great.
“I don’t think there’s a more perfect person because when the schedules are hectic, she’s very understanding of that. And when the schedule’s freed up, that’s when you get to spend [the] most time together. It’s all understanding and compatibility.”
The ‘Praise The Lord’ star also confessed that the pair are getting “tired” of children’s cartoon ‘Cocomelon’.
He joked: “That s*** is driving me nuts!

Meanwhile, Rocky recently shared how his music has become more “meaningful” since he became a father.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sabrina Carpenter feels like she has to “tiptoe” through life because trolls are ready to brand her a “terrible person” if she says anything wrong.
The 25-year-old pop star has admitted she struggles to be her “authentic” self when she’s having a bad day because she’s constantly worried she might say something that’s taken the wrong way if she happens to be feeling a little grouchy.
She told the Guardian newspaper: “When I was a kid, I just wanted to sing on stage and, in that, I hoped to make people happy. And then you realise, especially with the internet: if I’m having a bad day, or didn’t get enough sleep, or haven’t had any coffee, and I say something and the tone comes off a little snarky, there’s a million people waiting to call you a terrible person.
“You’ve got to tiptoe around the edge of being authentic and protecting yourself, which is a bit of a mindf***.”
Sabrina went on to insist growing up and shooting to fame in the age of social media has been difficult but she’d determined not to let it affect the way she writes her music.
She added: “It’s not what I signed up for, but I can’t really help when I was born. I want to be honest – I want to just write about what’s happening in my life as a 25-year-old girl. But it comes with the territory and I just have to be like … OK!”
It comes after the singer insisted “there’s more” to her than just hit songs and fans need to accept there’s a person behind the pop star.
She told Paper magazine: “There’s more to me than my [hit songs]. “There’s a person under there that some days feels really confident and some days literally just can’t get out of bed.
“I think that’s really important for people to understand, regardless of who they listen to, that they’re a person.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Allen got rid of her rescue dog after it ate her passport and “ruined” her life.
The pop star has revealed she adopted a pet pooch from an animal sanctuary in New York – where she lives with her actor husband David Harbour and her two daughters from her previous marriage to Sam Cooper – and she’s revealed she took the dog back to the shelter because she was so angry about her ruined documents.
During an episode of her ‘Miss Me?’ podcast, Lily explained: “We actually did adopt a dog already, but then it ate my passport and so I took her back to the home. She ate all three of our passports and they had our visas in.
“And I cannot tell you how much money it cost me to get everything replaced, because it was in COVID and so it was just an absolute logistical nightmare.
“And because the father of my children lives in England, I couldn’t take them back to see their dad for like four months, five months, because this f****** dog had eaten the passports.
“And I just couldn’t look at her. I was like ‘You’ve ruined my life’.”
Lily went on to insist eating the passports wasn’t the pooch’s only crime, adding: “Passports weren’t the only thing she ate, she was a very badly behaved dog and I really tried very hard with her, but it just didn’t work out and the passports were the straw that broke the camel’s back so to speak.”
Lily didn’t give any more details about the animal but she’s believed to be referring to a dog called Mary who she adopted in 2021.
The ‘Smile’ singer went on to add that she’s planning to adopt another dog in the future – a Chihuahua mix – and wants to name it after England footballer Jude Bellingham.

OHMYGOSSIP — Drew Barrymore has vowed to start practicing “physical distance” with her talk show guests.
The 49-year-old actress has admitted she got very cuddly with her celebrity guests while filming ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic because the show launched at the height of social distancing rules in 2020 and she was forced to shoot episodes in the studio alone – so she’s been making up for lost time.
Drew told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I will try to practice physical distance which is not my strong point. Do you know how hard the pandemic was for me? I was alone in a studio by myself. I like to be around people.”
The ‘Never Been Kissed’ star went on to admit that some viewers might have been turned off by the physical affection she shows while conducting interviews with guest stars but she’s just trying to spread “joy”.
She added: “[It’s] not everyone’s favourite, but I’m sorry to those people … I think we’re always going to be big on joy and laughter and feeling good.
“That was something that I always wanted to do but I never thought we would launch in a pandemic. And trying to lean into the joy and the feel good and the comedy at that time was real weird and wacky. But somehow it came together … ”
Last year, media mogul Oprah Winfrey defended her pal’s interview style following her appearance on the show during which Drew was seen stroking her arm – with Oprah insisting she appreciated the physical contact.
She told TMZ.com: “I was actually comforted by the stroking of the arm. I was not uncomfortable at all … [I’ve] never seen [Barrymore] do that [but I] thought it was really great …
“Drew is terrific, and I love that she is always herself.”
Oprah went on to reveal she went home after the interview and told her longtime partner Stedman Graham that he needed to be more cuddly – like Drew.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tim Burton almost “retired” after the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
The Hollywood moviemaker had just released his 2019 movie ‘Dumbo’ when the industry was crippled by the outbreak – which forced TV and film productions to shut down – and he’s revealed he spent the enforced time off looking inwards and contemplating his future.
He told Variety: “It felt like there was a change around the time of COVID where everything was just in flux. And so, rather than get caught up in that, I just worked on my own feelings and things … Honestly, after ‘Dumbo’, I really didn’t know. I thought that could have been it, really. I could have retired, or become … well, I wouldn’t have become an animator again, that’s over. ”
However, Burton regained his passion for filmmaking after being offered the chance to work on Netflix show ‘Wednesday’.
He explained: “‘Wednesday’ came along. That reconnected me to making things. We went off to Romania and it felt like it was a creative health camp. It went so well … [It reenergised] me.
“Oftentimes, when you get into Hollywood, you try to be responsible to what you’re doing with the budget and everything else but sometimes you might lose yourself a little bit. This reinforced the feeling for me that it’s important that I do what I want to do, because then everybody will benefit.”
After the success of ‘Wednesday’, Burton got back into moviemaking by returning to his 1998 hit ‘Beetlejuice’ and reuniting the cast for a sequel titled ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’.
The new film brings back Winona Ryder – who was just 15 years old when she landed the part in the original – and she recently admitted she had a wonderful time making the film as a teenager.
She told ‘Extra’: “It was a really incredibly special time because I remember like everything about it … Everyone made me feel so included and that was sort of new because, you know, when you’re a kid actor, they tell you, ‘Stand there and do this,’ and, like, it was the first time, like, Tim was like, ‘What do you think?’ I was like, ‘You care?'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez’s ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ reunion felt “bonkers”.
The 32-year-old singer/actress got back together with her former co-stars to film a spin-off called ‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’ 12 years after the original Disney Channel show went off air – and the stars have now opened up about what it was like returning to their characters after more than a decade.
Selena told Variety: “It felt like I was home again. I’m so happy I got to bring back this childhood gift that I was given to new little ones out there.”
Her co-star David Henrie added: “Selena and I and my wife spent so much time over the years drinking wine and talking about where the characters would be, we looked at each other at one point and said, ‘I think we have a show. I think we should go talk to Disney about this.’ And we did. It took years of development to get it exactly where it needed to be.”
He added of the reunion: “It was bonkers. It was unspoken but we were behind a door and heard, ‘Action,’ we looked at one another and were like, ‘This is crazy.’ It was like a day hadn’t passed in 12 years. We were right back to where we were.”
Selena was asked whether the spin-off will return for a multi-season run and she admitted she doesn’t know whether it will be back, telling the publication: “We don’t know, but if people like it, we’ll see.”
Selena’s latest TV project is a new season of ‘Only Murders in the Building’ and she recently admitted she was thrilled to work with Hollywood legend Meryl Streep, 75, during season three.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Selena shared: “She was so excited, and when she came on set, she told everybody that she loves the show, and I don’t even think I spoke the first day she was around, I was just admiring her.
“She’s an inspiration, and she’s someone who is incredibly talented while being very humble, and professional and kind. I’ve learned so much from her just by her being Meryl.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine has lost her bid to stop a $600 million deal to sell off his songs.
The executors of the late King of Pop’s estate – John Branca and A R executive John McClain – who also run the family’s trust announced plans to sell off a portion of Jackson’s tracks to Sony Music Group back in 2022 but the plan was met with resistance from Katherine, 94, who filed a number of objections insisting the sale would be contrary to her son’s wishes.
However, a Los Angeles appeals court has now ruled the sale can go ahead declaring Katherine’s objections “lack merit”.
In paperwork filed in Los Angeles on Wednesday (21.08.24) – and obtained by PEOPLE – the ruling declares: “The will gave the executors broad powers of sale, with no exception for the specific assets at issue in this case.
“As such, the probate court did not err in concluding that it was Michael’s intent to allow the executors to sell any estate assets, including those at issue in the proposed transaction … all of the estate’s assets will be distributed to the trust”.
The late singer’s millions are handled by the Michael Jackson Family Trust and the beneficiaries believed to be his three children Prince, 27, Paris, 26, and 22-year-old Bigi, also known as Blanket, as well as a number of charities.
Katherine is a beneficiary of a sub-trust, which allows the trustees to pay for her “care, support, maintenance, comfort and well-being”.
She previously claimed the singer – who died aged 50 in 2009 after suffering a drug overdose – had wanted to keep the estate’s assets in the family.
It comes after a report suggested the ‘Thriller’ star was more than $500 million in debt at the time of his death.
Documents seen by PEOPLE revealed Jackson – well-known for his extravagant spending habits – owed hundreds of millions of dollars in unpaid debts and was busy writing new songs and preparing for a residency at The 02 in London in a bid to bring his financial troubles back under control.

OHMYGOSSIP — Serena Williams brought her assistant and her agent on her first date with husband Alexis Ohanian and they spent two hours “interrogating” him.
The Reddit founder has opened up about the couple’s first dinner together back in 2015 for new ESPN docuseries ‘In The Arena’, and he’s revealed the trio bombarded him with questions about his life.
Ohanian said: “It was like two hours of interrogation and questions. Do I have kids, am I married. Nothing was off limits.”
Williams also revealed agent Jill Smoller was determined to find out if Ohanian was actually single or if he had a secret girlfriend. She added: “Jill asked him straight up like, ‘What’s up with your girlfriend?’ and he’s like, ‘I don’t have a girlfriend’.

The sports star went on to reveal she decided Ohanian was the one for her when they bonded over their shared love of Marvel comics.
She said: “During dinner he started talking about Iron Man and Marvel, and that’s the way to my heart.”
Ohanian added of their common interest: “This wasn’t just a superficial, ‘Hey I’ve watched a few movies’. This is, ‘I have deeply studied the text and I have strong opinions about this lore’.”
Jill Smoller also spoke about the dinner date in the show and revealed she was happy to see the pair find common ground. She said: “It was so fascinating because they both loved the same thing.
“He was into sci-fi and cartoons and superheroes and I’m like … she can finally talk to someone who likes the things that she does.”
After their successful first date, the couple got engaged in 2016 and welcomed their first daughter Olympia in September 2017. The couple married months later at a star-studded ceremony in New Orleans, Louisiana and their second daughter, Adira, arrived in 2023.

OHMYGOSSIP — Channing Tatum had to keep his ‘Magic Mike’ dance moves under control when he took his daughter to see Taylor Swift.
The Hollywood actor is dad to 11-year-old daughter Everly with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan and he took her to see the pop star perform a concert in Los Angeles and Channing admitted he had to tone down his dance moves after previously perfecting sexy routines to play a stripper onscreen in the 2012 film.
During an appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’, he said: “I saw [Taylor Swift perform] in LA with my daughter. Seeing it with your daughter is very different because you know, you gotta like go in. I was dancing like I’d never danced before.
“Well you also have to make sure you’re not dancing like you dance, you know what I mean? There was none of this [body rolling]. There was zero of that.
“I’m so grateful that she doesn’t know how I dance.”
He went on to admit Everly hasn’t seen his saucy movie and he fears there will be an awkward moment when she does eventually watch it.
Channing added: “It’s going to be horrifying when it does [watch the film].”
The host then teased Channing, saying: “You’re going to come home and she’s like going to flip on a lamp and be like, ‘We need to talk’.”
Channing went on to reveal he found Taylor’s concert to be quite overwhelming because it was amazing to see one woman performing on a huge stage to such a massive crowd.
He added: “It’s really scary. You walk out and you’re just like, ‘Oh my God, there’s just one little tiny person just standing onstage’. [The stadium was] filled to the actual brim. The sheer concept in your brain doesn’t quite make sense.”
It comes after the actor opened up about his habit of checking his phone and admitted he goes on “full iPhone diets” to cut down on his screen time because he struggles to be “alone” with his thoughts when he has a device to hand.
Speaking at the London premiere of his new film ‘Blink Twice’, Channing explained to the Dailymail.co.uk : “I’m not good at responding to people but I go on full iPhone diets because as soon as I reach for my phone compulsory.
“When I’m just sitting there and I feel like I can’t be alone with myself or with my thoughts, I make sure I take a week or two off without it.”
