And Elle King said: “Welcome to the world!!! Congrats mama Lala and big sister Ocean!!!”

“I don’t want a baby daddy. It’s not happening. There’s no changing my mind.
“I know this is not the norm, and I just feel like going the donor route is the right decision for me.
“I want an absolute with this baby. No matter what, this is my baby. No one can ever come in and take it from me. I don’t have to share it on Christmas Day. Just mine.”
Meanwhile, Lala also admitted she wants “many” children in various ways, while she’s not ruling out having a baby with a partner again in the future.
She added: “I think I’m going to get a sperm donor, I’m going to have this baby. Then I’d like to adopt a baby. If I meet a guy later on we can have a baby.”

Michael Sheen reveals if he would want to be a member of royal family after playing Prince Andrew

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Sheen would “absolutely not” want to be a member of the royal family.
The 55-year-old actor stars as Prince Andrew in the upcoming miniseries ‘A Very Royal Scandal’ but when asked if would have liked to have been a member of the royal family in real life, admitted that he would never wish to actually be blue-blooded.
He told People: “Absolutely not. No. The fairytale image of it seems so extraordinary — living in palaces and having everything you want and servants and all that kind of stuff. But the reality seems to be that there are far more restrictions than there are freedoms. No amount of wealth or assets or privilege can make up for not being able to have basic sort of freedoms that a lot of us take for granted. So no, I would not want to have that life.”
The ‘Masters of Sex’ star also noted that he had been ” quite naive” with his assumptions about the media and their relationship with the monarchy but then realised while shooting his latest role that it is more of a give-and-take arrangement.
He said: “I’d always quite naively imagined that the media and the royal family were quite separate institutions. But then it became clear that there’s all these sort of negotiations that go on between them, and there’s a kind of, you know, ‘Well, if you do this, then we’ll do that. And if you give us this interview, we’ll hide this thing.’ You know, it’s a real — there are deals being done all the time between the two institutions, which I found fascinating, and I didn’t realize that. That was a big surprise.”

Vanessa Williams was ‘living in a bubble’ before her naked photo scandal

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Williams was “living in a bubble” before her naked photo scandal.
The 61-year-old star made history as the first black woman to be crowned Miss America in 1984 and is these days known for her roles in ‘Ugly Betty’ and ‘Desperate Housewives’ but was “humiliated” when X-rated photos of herself were leaked in the early days of her career, especially as she thought that the US was “beyond racism” at that point.
She told Interview: “I was living in a bubble, thinking that we were beyond racism. I think the difference between 40 years ago and now is that the news cycle’s really sped up. People are quick to judge, quick to cancel, but it doesn’t remain in the zeitgeist for too long. Back in the day, you only had three major channels.
“I’d made history [as the first black woman to win Miss America], so 10 months later, to have a scandal, it was a worldwide phenomenon. It was devastating. It was humiliating.”
The ‘Hannah Montana: The Movie’ star remains extremely grateful that she had the support of her family throughout the ordeal because it took her “years to regain respectability” following the scandal.
She said: “Thank God I had a community and family that supported me and believed in my talent, because it took me years to regain respectability and to be seen for the person that I was. I’ve had to go through many hoops over and over again, and I still feel that.
“I’m always on the list of most underrated this, most underrated that. Well, guess what? That gives me my fuel.”
Meanwhile, Vanessa will be starring as Miranda Priestly – a role said to be inspired by Vogue editor Anna Wintour and made famous on screen by Meryl Streep – in the upcoming musical version of ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ in London’s West End from October and explained that everything has got to be “bigger” than what she is used to with it being on stage.
She said: “Well, for a stage it’s got to read in the back of the house, so I don’t have the luxury to do one eyebrow and have everybody understand what I’m trying to convey. It’s got to be bigger. Television and film, the lens is right here, so you can do all the subtle whispers and sighs and use your eyes in a much more diminutive way. And also you have the luxury onstage to burst into song, to help elevate and continue whatever emotion you just started. In television and film, you’re not in charge of your performance. It’s up to the editor.”

Gemma Arterton argued with director over unplanned intimate scene in film

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Arterton argued with a Hollywood director after they wanted her to film an unplanned sex scene.
The 38-year-old actress – who rose to fame as a Bond Girl in 2008’s ‘Quantum of Solace’ – refused to shoot the scene in the unnamed project after initially agreeing to the movie because the moment was meant to simply be heard off-screen.
She told Radio Times magazine: “I remember being on a set once and the director said, ‘You’re going to s**g on the bed’.
“And I said, ‘No, this scene was written for us to be off screen, so you just hear the noises. I’d never have accepted the role if it was going to be filmed.’
“He put pressure on us on the day. The other actor, God bless him, was mortified. There were very high-profile people there.”
Gemma refused to do the scene, but insisted she “only” felt comfortable doing so because she had more experience in Hollywood.
She added: “I said, ‘You can’t do that, I’m flat out not doing it.
“‘I don’t care if you think I’m difficult’, but I only felt like I could say that because I was older.”
‘The Critic’ star admitted she would have found it tougher to say no when she was younger and fearful for repercussions.
She explained: “It would have been really hard [to say no] when I was younger. You might get the sack, or get a terrible reputation.
“It was before we had intimacy coordinators, who are the go-between now — it’s a totally different landscape.
“Anything you’re not comfortable with is not going to happen.”
Although she previously had a steamy on-screen romp with ‘Quantum of Solace’ co-star Daniel Craig, Gemma noted that the idea of being nude on screen never “fulfilled” her as a performer.
She said: “When I started acting, there was a lot of nudity. You were just expected to do it. It didn’t fulfil me, it wasn’t fun. It didn’t feel like I was flexing my acting muscles.”

Mel B was told to get rid of her afro in the early days of the Spice Girls: ‘I stood my ground…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel B was bullied at school because of her hair.
The 49-year-old pop star – who shot to fame alongside Geri Halliwell, Melanie C, Emma Bunton, and Victoria Beckham as part of the Spice Girls in the late 1990s – has always had “big wild curly hair” but admitted that it caused her to be “singled out” at school and even faced pressure from makeup artists in the early days of her career to straighten it.
On World Afro Day (10.09.24), she wrote on Instagram: My hair has always been a personal statement – all my life. I grew up a mixed race girl in working class Leeds in the 1970s. Kids at school had no idea what to call me. I was different.
“And I had my big wild curly hair that stood out. It wasnt neat and tidy. There was too much of it to fit into elastic hair bands and I wore it out. I got called names. I got singled out. But it was my hair and I wasnt going to change it – for anyone.
“The very first video shoot I did as a Spice Girl for ‘Wannabe’, the stylists took one look at my hair and told me it had to be straightened. My big hair didn’t fit the pop star mould.”
However, the ‘I Want You Back’ hitmaker – who has Phoenix , 25, with first husband Jimmy Gulzar, Angel, 17, from her relationship with Hollywood star Eddie Murphy and 13-year-old Madison with her ex-husband Stephen Belafonte – refused to get rid of her natural look and is now “proud” of the “impact” her decision has had on women around the world.
She said: “But I stood my ground – backed by my girls – and I sang and danced as me with my big hair, my brown skin and I was totally proud of who I was. I had no idea the impact that video had on thousands of little brown and black girls all over the country. Women still come up to me to this day and tell me they stopped straightening their hair.
“They let their curls shine out in playgrounds everywhere as they finally got to have a place in a ‘girl band’ in the playground. That makes me so proud. I love my curls.
“I have three children with big curly hair and all of them take pride in their their hair, their identity and their culture. I also know that sometimes they have faced issues with their hair – as I did.
“We are who we are and no one should try to discriminate or change us. So yes. I’m proud to support World Afro Day in its call for the Equality Act to protect against Afro hair discrimination in the UK.”

Trace Adkins has had so many false promises from Hollywood

OHMYGOSSIP — Trace Adkins has had so many false promises from Hollywood.
The 62-year-old country music star – who has Tarah, 41, and Sarah. 39, with his first wife Barbara Lewis as well as Mackenzie, 26, Brianna,23, and 20-year-old Trinity with his third wife Rhonda Forlaw – had found out that Mackenzie had been through such a back-and-forth process with a casting director on Instagram and is pleased that she “learned” that not everything is always as it seems.
During a joint interview with his daughter, he told Fox News Digital: “I’m glad you’ve learned something. That’s the way you have to always deal with everything Hollywood. Because, yeah, I’ve had so many things, and most of which I’ve forgotten about, but there have been so many, so many things in my career that were connected to Hollywood. And they never happened.”
“They tell you, ‘Oh, yeah, we’re going to do this. We’re going to do that, and it’s this is moving along.’ And then all of a sudden, one day you realise, well, I haven’t heard from those people in six months. And it just went away.”
Mackenzie explained to the ‘I Left Something Turned on at Home’ crooner that she had double-checked the validity of the show she was being interviewed for and then quickly moved out of the family home to star in the latest season of reality show ‘Claim to Fame’, so everything had turned out to be legitimate.
She said: “I looked it up, and I watched both the seasons and I made sure it was a real show. But I did, like, so many interviews, and I met so many different casting directors and … producers were calling me, telling me, ‘You’re in the top 25, you’re in the top 15, you’ve made the top couple; we’re not sure yet.’ So, I was like, I don’t want to get that excited, and then it not happen.”
Trace was “a little concerned” but assumed everything would be okay and then only found out what it was all about when he received a call halfway through the filming process.
He said: “I was, you know, a little concerned, but, you know, I assumed that if she was going to be with these people out there, that she would probably be OK.
“I thought she got kicked off the show because, you know, she wasn’t going to have her phone. So, about halfway through, she called me, and I went, ‘Oh no.’”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Hilton thought the fire that broke out on the set of her music video was a “prank”.
The 43-year-old star revealed last month that some of her belongings “melted and burned to a crisp” in the blaze on the set of her ‘Bad B**** Academy’ video, and she admitted at first she wondered if people were playing a cruel joke on her.
She told E! News: “Literally, it was like an explosion in there, everything was gone.

“But I’m just grateful no one was in the trailer, because that was scary! But the show must go on, and I powered through.”
Last month, the singer, socialite and reality star shared a video showing her damaged jewellery and reflected on the “amazing memories” she has from each item.

Meanwhile, Paris previously reassured fans that she was “safe” after the fire broke out.
The former ‘Simple Life’ star shared a picture of her burnt trailer on her Instagram Story, and the blonde beauty admitted that she was “incredibly grateful” for her team.
Paris – who married author Carter Reum in 2021 – wrote on the photo-sharing platform at the time: “Sadly an accidental fire broke out in my trailer on the set of my music video today.
“As heartbreaking as it is, l’m so thankful everyone is safe and I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing support I have around me.”

Mindy Kaling shares motherhood update three months on from giving birth to her baby daughter

OHMYGOSSIP — Mindy Kaling is finding it “nice and easy” to watch her baby because she can’t crawl yet.
The 45-year-old actress – who has Katherine, six, Spencer, four and three-month-old Anne – explained that her youngest is “trying” to move independently, but that she hasn’t quite managed yet.
She told People: “My baby is like, she can’t crawl yet, but she’s like trying. She’s like revving. She’s immobile but she really wants to get going. And I’m like, ‘No, not yet!’ I like that she can’t move that much. It’s like nice and easier to watch her.”
Meanwhile, ‘The Office’ star – who has never publicly revealed the father of her children – admitted whilst at the Tory Burch New York Fashion Week that only her eldest child has just started to “appreciate” that she is a celebrity, and that her son is more interested in toy trucks than anything else at the minute so he hasn’t taken much of an interest in showbiz.
She added: “You know, I think as of now only my oldest would be able to appreciate it. My son is more into like a trucks vibe. So, unless Tory did like a trucks collab I think it might be lost on him.”
Mindy also noted that since becoming a mother, she has toned down her makeup usage these days and doesn’t bother with lip gloss anymore because of how the practicalities of it impact her when she is in a rush.
She said: “I don’t wear lip gloss anymore because it just gets in my hair too much if I’m like in a rush with children — it just like smears all over. So I am kind of just doing like a lip balm these days.”

Tyla reflects on her first year of global fame: ‘I’ve changed a lot…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyla feels as if she has “changed a lot” in her first year of global fame.
The 22-year-old pop star has garnered constant comparisons to Britney Spears and Rihanna since releasing her eponymous debut album in early 2024 but now “doesn’t care” what others say and is looking forward to having “fun” in the next year of her career.
She told ELLE: “I do feel like I’ve changed a lot in the span of a few months; people may not see it. I’m excited to see that in my next album. Initially, I used to care. Recently I’ve just been feeling, ‘They’re gonna say what they wanna say, and it doesn’t even matter because I know it’s not that.
“This year was me introducing myself. Next year I’m just gonna have fun.
“Do whatever, wear whatever. I’m just playing around a lot, and bringing a lot of my roots into my music. It’s still gonna be me, still sweaty vibes, but evolved.”
Away from the spotlight, the ‘Water’ hitmaker just likes to spend time in her native Johannesburg and admitted that the South African city was just really resilient during the COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020 and 2021 when law enforcement tried to stop residents from partying after the curfews.
She said: “That’s where the real parties are. In lockdown, you weren’t really allowed to have parties, but there’d be these parties where they would let us in, and then they’d have to close the doors until the curfew ended. You’d have to stay in there until morning. And when police would come, we’d have to be quiet, act like nothing’s happening. Then the party would come back. South Afircans just love music.”

Mean Girls actress Lacey Chabert ‘learned so much’ during her days of child stardom

OHMYGOSSIP — Lacey Chabert “learned so much” during her days of child stardom.
The 41-year-old actress had played minor roles in US soap opera ‘All My Children’ and appeared alongside Bette Midler in a television adaptation of the musical ‘Gypsy’ by the time she was cast as one of the leads in the long-running drama series ‘Party of Five’ in 1994 but didn’t really “understand” what it meant to land such a big job at the time.
She told Us Weekly: “I learned so much being on set and really grew up. I went through a lot of firsts, like, kind of every first that a girl from 11 to 17 can go through. And a lot of times [whatever] it was hadn’t yet happened for me in real life — or it was a first time — and, you know, there was so much reality to it.
“I didn’t understand the scope of what it really meant to be on a television show. just knew I loved acting and telling stories, and I got to do that with this incredible group of people who I loved hanging out with.”
In the years since finding fame, Lacey – who starred in her now-signature role as Gretchen Wieners in ‘Mean Girls’ in 2004 alongside Lindsay Lohan and prior to that briefly voiced the character of Meg Griffin in ‘Family Guy’ – has become a mainstay of Hallmark’s Christmas television movies and is now hosting the party planning reality show ‘Celebrations with Lacey Chabert’ for the network.
She said: “They also feature a lot of DIY and things that you could do at home. So the audience will have a lot of takeaways there as well. So it’s a feel good celebration.”

Melissa Gilbert knew she would marry Timothy Busfield: ‘At this age, you know what you don’t want’

OHMYGOSSIP — Melissa Gilbert thinks it was “inevitable” that she would marry Timothy Busfield.
The 60-year-old actress – who starred on the NBC Western series ‘Little House on the Prairie’ as a child – has son Dakota, 35, with her first husband Bo Brinkman and 28-year-old Michael with her second husband Bruce Boxleitner but tied the knot with ‘The West Wing’ star Timothy Busfield in 2013 and knew as soon as she met him that she would be walking down the aisle for a third time.
She told People: “It sounds cliché to say it, but it really was like getting hit with a thunderbolt. It just seemed right and inevitable. … The next morning when I woke up, my first thought was, ‘I’m going to marry him,’ and I then my next thought was, ‘You’re a crazy person
“Then I thought, ‘Well, why don’t we start with brunch?’ and I grabbed my phone, and I went to text him to ask if he wanted to meet. He texted me [at the same time] and asked if I wanted to meet for brunch.
“That’s when I thought, ‘Maybe I’m not so crazy. Maybe this is right.’ We met for brunch, and I knew … It just made sense..”
The ‘Diary of Anne Frank’ actress also noted that this marriage has been the “easiest relationship” she has ever had because by the time she was in her late forties, she knew what she “didn’t want” in life.
She said: “There is rarely drama, and if there is drama, it’s not caused by us. It comes from outside, and we handle it in a much different way.
“By the time you get to be the age we were when we met, you know what you don’t want. Even more than you know what you do, you know what you will not put up with ever again and that changes everything.
“I was never again going to be with someone with whom I did not agree politically. I wasn’t going to bend myself to be quiet because their opinion needed to be louder and different.”

Chappell Roan recalls feeling ‘scared of flamboyantly gay people’

OHMYGOSSIP — Chappell Roan felt “scared of flamboyantly gay people” during her younger years.
The 26-year-old singer – who identifies as a lesbian – has revealed that she still feels “uncomfortable” about her own sexuality because of how she was raised.
The ‘Pink Pony Club’ hitmaker – who was raised Christian, but no longer identifies with the church – told Rolling Stone magazine: “I was scared of flamboyantly gay people because I was taught that.
“[I realised] people hate flamboyantly gay people because it exudes femininity, and people hate women. Just little things like that that you’re like, ‘Oh, my God, this is so f*****.'”
Chappell spent a long time trying to move away from that mindset. However, she still has moments of confusion.
The singer explained: “It took a lot of unlearning, and there’s still things I’m still confused about, and [it’s] why I feel so uncomfortable being gay sometimes. I don’t get why this is such an issue for me. It shouldn’t be, but something’s just going on and I need to just accept that.”
Chappell has enjoyed a meteoric rise in recent years, and the singer is thrilled that she’s managed to achieve so much success without compromising her values.
Chappell actually feels proud that she’s proven so many records labels wrong by becoming a big name in the music industry.
The singer – who released a series of songs independently in 2022 – said: “It feels so good to prove them wrong because they weren’t just a little wrong. They were really, really, really wrong.
“To know that my gut instinct was right is the best feeling in the world. Purposeful revenge does not feel good, but revenge by accident feels awesome.”
