OHMYGOSSIP — Dwayne Johnson is convinced real men know when to ask for help.
The movie hardman, 52, opened up about his definition of masculinity while discussing his new film ‘Moana 2’, in which he reprises his role as flamboyant demigod Maui, who he first voiced in 2016’s ‘Moana’ animation.
He told Entertainment Weekly while discussing the cartoon character: “The idea of asking for help is actually a superpower.
“Masculinity, to me, is not being tough. It’s not being a bada**.
“Powerful masculinity is having the confidence to look inside and say, ‘This is what I’m feeling, and it’s OK – here’s my chest, I’ll gladly rip it open to someone who can help me’.”
Dwayne added he didn’t “know” who the Maui character was when he was first offered the role as he pretends to be in control.
He said: “This guy who is very presentational, who puts on a show, who loves to hold court, sing and dance, and make people feel good.
“But there’s a lot that’s brewing deep down that, eventually, he is going to have to contend with because it’s like a ball that you’re holding underwater. “Eventually, you’ve got to let the ball go, and it’s going to explode.”
The former wrestler said the ‘Moana 2’ contains “an important moment for people to see that you can be strong, you can be big, you can be independent, but it’s okay to ask for help”.
He went on: “When you do finally ask for help, the universe and your loved ones have a way of meeting you halfway. Even the strongest of people need help.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Janet Jackson’s trousers split up her backside when she was performing for Queen Elizabeth.
The 58-year-old singer – who famously accidentally bared her chest at the 2004 Super Bowl – admitted to another embarrassing wardrobe mishap while looking back on some of her most iconic fashion looks.
She told British Vogue about the incident in the 1990s when she was shown the outfit she wore for her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in 1990 and the ensemble that became synonymous with her album ‘Rhythm Nation 1814’.
Janet said the look was inspired by the Ray Bradbury book ‘Fahrenheit 451’, as her shirt had a silver plate on the neck – and added she added a “lot more” to the outfit to it in the form of more metal with the help of fashion designer Bill Whitten.
She added: “He did a wonderful job, a beautiful job. Funny story about this outfit.
“I was performing for the Queen of England and we were doing ‘Rhythm Nation’.
“Sure enough, as soon as I squatted, my pants split right in my booty crack. I couldn’t believe it happened. I thought, ‘Oh my God’.
“And then I started feeling air back there, so I knew it had really happened.”
Janet added she was then very careful to never turn her back to the Queen so she would not “flash” the monarch – saying about the rest of her performance: “I just faced forward.”
She also told Vogue how she was delighted to now be working with designer Thom Browne, 58, who created the outfits for her most recent North America tour.
The singer said: “I’m so happy he’s become a friend. There’s certain designers that are just genius to me.
“Thom is right in there. He’s a true genius and he did this for me for tour. And I think he made it him, but he also made it me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry has hailed his two children as the best presents he’s ever had.
The Duke of Sussex, 39, paid tribute to his son Archie, five, and three-year-old daughter Lilibet – who he has with his 43-year-old wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex – ahead of his 40th birthday on 15 September.
He told People: “The best gift I’ve ever been given is, without a doubt, my kids.
“I enjoy watching them grow every single day, and I love being their dad.”
Page Six previously has reported Harry is planning to celebrate his 40th with a party organized by his wife in Montecito, California, where the live.
The outlet and others have reported Harry will then enjoy a weekend getaway with his close friends in the mountains.
His comment about his children is rare as he and Meghan rarely speak publicly about their kids.
Former ‘Suits’ actress Meghan did recently reveal her daughter Lilibet is growing up to be confident with a strong voice.
She told fans last month at a panel discussion called ‘Afro-Descendant Women and Power: Voice of Equity’: “I know how it feels when you don’t utilize your voice when you need to be heard or have something to say.
“I encourage our daughter to do so – who, at three, has absolutely found her voice, and we are so proud of that.”
Harry is not thought to be planning to spend his 40th with senior royals including his father King Charles and older brother Prince William, 43.
He has had a strained relationship with both since he and Markle quit their royal duties and moved to America in 2020.
The couple are said to have infuriated the royals by then sitting down for a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, 70, during which Meghan said an unnamed member of the royal family had questioned how dark her son Archie’s skin would be when he was born.
Harry also fuelled his rift with the royal family with the release of his memoir ‘Spare’ in which he detailed his feuds with his father and brother.

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince George is reportedly learning to fly aged 11.
The future king – whose father Prince William and uncle Prince Harry are trained pilots – apparently had his first flight at Berkshire airfield, south-east England, on the final day of his summer school holidays.
An onlooker told The Sun, which reported the royal is enjoying flying lessons: “He loved it. George is only 11 years old but it is the right time to start.
“The royal family has a proud tradition of flying and it looks like George is next in line.
“His parents watched George take flight from the safety of the ground but he flew with an instructor and loved it.”
George’s mother and father, the Prince and Princess of Wales, both 42, are said to have proudly watched their son soar into the air and come back to land safely around an hour after his lesson took place a week ago.
William, Prince of Wales and Catherine, Princess of Wales turned up at White Waltham Airfield near Maidenhead, in a three-car convoy, according to The Sun.
The base – where George’s late great-grandad Prince Philip trained as a pilot – is a 10-mile, 20-minute drive from the Waleses’ home in Windsor.
William flew helicopters for RAF Search and Rescue and East Anglia Air Ambulance, while his brother Prince Harry, 39, is also a trained pilot.
Prince Philip, who died aged 99 in 2021, was 31 when he began his flying training at White Waltham in 1952.
George’s parents were also said to have relaxed at the airfield’s packed clubhouse during the heir’s visit.
A source at the base said: “There were probably 30 or 40 people in the clubhouse.
“Catherine and William watched George take off. But they were relaxed about it. All three of them had been pretty chilled in the clubhouse.”

The model, 32, is raising her five-month-old daughter with her actor fiancé Robert Pattinson, 38, and opened up about parenting while appearing on Emma Chamberlain’s ‘Anything Goes’ podcast
She said while talking about the challenges of being a new mum in the public eye: “I think it’s gonna get harder and harder. Obviously I would really like to not have her face shown or anything like that.
“That would be like my ideal. But I also think that I have to be kind of a realist about the kind of world that we live.
“And now she’s almost six months. She wants to look at flowers and touch things and, like, be out in the world.
“That’s been a little bit more intense.”
Suki also said she was dwelling on protecting her daughter from fans and paparazzi, but wanting to give her access to the world.
She added: “I want to shield her from that, but I also wanna take her for a walk and sit at a cafe and take her out.
“And someone might, like, they probably are going to take a picture and they probably are gonna show her face.
“And you don’t actually get, like, there are laws but they go around them.
“You have to be kind of a realist and not be devastated and wind yourself up so much, because we live in the most insane world.
“If she’s going to have a life where I bring her out, that’s what I care about more.

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Grohl’s ex-girlfriend Jennifer Finch is reportedly standing by the Foo Fighters rocker amid his lovechild scandal.
The former Nirvana drummer, 55, has dramatically admitted he fathered a child outside his marriage to his longtime wife Jordyn Blum, 48, and amid a furious backlash from his fans over his cheating Jennifer is said to be backing him as a decent man.
Jennifer, who was part of the punk rock band L7, reportedly told TMZ Dave was “doing everything he can for his family” and “giving it his all in spite of the messy situation”.
The outlet added: “As for her connection to Dave, Jennifer says they’ve stayed tight since their dating days.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Britney Spears is reportedly set to keep paying child support for her youngest son even though he has turned 18.
The ‘Toxic’ singer has boys Jayden James – who hit the milestone on Thursday (12,09.24) – and Sean Preston, also 18 – with her ex Kevin Federline, 46, and sources say the performer is going to keep supporting Jayden even though she has the legal right not to continue payments for his upkeep.
Sources told TMZ Britney and her former backup dancer ex agreed in their divorce settlement her child support payments for Jayden would stop when he turned 18 or when he graduated from high school – whichever came earliest.
But the outlet said the teen is set to graduate early from high school in Hawaii in November, so the payments will continue until at least that month.
TMZ added Britney was originally supposed to pay her ex $20,000 a month in child support – but in 2018 the amount was doubled to $40,000 a month as the teens were mostly in Kevin’s care.
Britney is said to have been largely estranged from her boys in recent years, with their apparent falling out said to have stemmed from their and Kevin’s dismay at the singer’s constant raunchy Instagram posts.
Jayden also told the Daily Mail in 2022 about Britney’s motherhood issues:
“I think mom has struggled giving us both attention and showing us equal love – I don’t think she showed enough to Preston, and I feel really bad for that.”
Kevin also told the mail about his struggle explaining Britney’s flesh-flashing social media posts to his sons: “I try to explain to them, ‘Look, maybe that’s just another way she tries to express herself.’
“But that doesn’t take away from the fact of what it does to them.
“It’s tough. I can’t imagine how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school.”
It was reported in May 2023 Britney had not seen her sons in more than a year and the boys had stopped answering her texts.
But in June, Kevin’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told Page Six the teens had spoken with Britney on Mother’s Day, calling it a “step in the right direction” for a possible reconciliation.

OHMYGOSSIP — Steve McQueen’s son Chad McQueen has died aged 63.
The movie icon’s son, who was also an actor, was probably best known for playing Dutch in ‘The Karate Kid’ films, and he passed away on Wednesday (12.09.24) at his ranch in Palm Desert, California.
His family confirmed his passing to Variety, telling the outlet in an emotional statement: “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our father, Chad McQueen.
“His remarkable journey as a loving father to us, along with his unwavering commitment to our mother, truly exemplified a life filled with love and dedication.”
Referencing his late actor father’s love of car racing, they added: “His passion for racing not only highlighted his exceptional talent but also served as a way to honour his father’s legacy, a testament to the values instilled in him.
“He passed his passion, knowledge and dedication down to us, and we will continue not only his legacy but our grandfather’s as well.
“As a family, we need to navigate this difficult time, and we kindly ask for privacy as we remember and celebrate his extraordinary life.”
Chad reportedly died from organ failure that came following a racing injury a few years ago, according to TMZ.
The outlet added when he died he was with his wife Jeanie Galbraith, his two children Chase McQueen and Madison McQueen and his attorney.
He played martial arts thug Dutch in 1984’s ‘The Karate Kid’, and ‘The Karate Kid Part II’, which was released two years later.
Dutch was a member of the Cobra Kai mob, and he was said to have been set to play the character in the ‘Karate Kid’ spin-off show ‘Cobra Kai’, but it never materialised.
Chad’s other notable film roles included parts in ‘Red Line’ and ‘New York Cop’, and he competed in racing events such as 24 Hours of Le Mans.
His McQueen Racing company developed high-performance cars and motorbikes and he suffered a near-fatal crash in 2006 while practicing for the Daytona International Speedway Rolex 24 event.

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato is planning to marry fiancé Jordan Lutes next year but they’re not ready to start a family yet.
The 32-year-old pop star – who uses they/them pronouns – is believed to have been dating the singer since 2022 and the couple confirmed their engagement in December – now Demi has confirmed they are busy planning the wedding for next year but they’re adamant they won’t be having kids any time soon.
They told Teen Vogue magazine: “I live and breathe for our connection. Everything I do, I wish was with him. I see my future with him. I see growing old with him.”
Speaking about having children, the singer added: “I’m not ready to give up my alone time with [Jordan].”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Hale turned to alcohol as a teenager because she felt “alone and misunderstood”.
The ‘Pretty Little Liars’ star, 35, has opened up about the years of addiction issues she suffered – revealing she wanted to quit many times but suffered numerous relapses before finally getting sober and she’s revealed she used booze to help quiet her troubling thoughts.
She told PEOPLE: “Since a very young age, I always felt alone and misunderstood. So as a teenager, I found alcohol – which of course shut my brain off. And it worked for me for a while, until it turned really dark …
“I always had a desire to change, but with any form of addiction, you become powerless to this obsession. I definitely had to go through my own process of getting sober.
“It took many, many, many years, many relapses, many dark moments, many falling on my face quite literally, but figuratively as well to figure out what was working in my life, finding out why I was drinking, because removing alcohol is just one part of it.”
Lucy went on to insist having a creative career in acting probably saved her life. She added: “If I’m perfectly honest, without my career and without that creative outlet, I don’t know if I would’ve made it.”
The actress explained she found herself stuck in a cycle of depression and anxiety and she was always mindful that she needed to show up for work and be professional – which “fuelled” her drinking and trapped her in the cycle.
Lucy was finally able to give up alcohol for good in January 2022 and revealed she’s used wellness techniques, exercise and a healthy diet to conquer her demons.
She told ETOnline.com: “Through grace, compassion, self-forgiveness and commitment, I have been able to turn my life around. … There is a new life on the other side of choosing yourself one baby step at a time.
“Prayer and meditation bookend my days and I do digital detoxes, energy sessions, talk therapy, connect with like-minded people, and don’t take life so seriously.
“I’m a believer in mind, body and spirit … I try to get some sort of movement every day, but I really listen to my body and what it needs. If I’m not feeling it that day, I won’t do it. I love hiking, pilates, yoga, and strength training and mix up my workouts so I don’t get bored. I have three nourishing meals a day – no compromising, drink lots of water, and get eight hours minimum of sleep.”

The 57-year-old actress was told her beloved mom Janelle Ann Kidman had passed away while she was in Italy attending the Venice Film Festival promoting her new movie ‘Babygirl’, and subsequently missed the film’s North American premiere in Toronto earlier this week as she was with her family, and she has now taken to Instagram to express her gratitude for the “outpouring of love and kindness” she’s received.
Sharing three photos of Janelle, one solo portrait and two of her with Nicole and her sister Antonia Kidman, the ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ star wrote: “My sister and I along with our family want to thank you for the outpouring of love and kindness we have felt this week.
“Every message we have received from those who loved and admired our Mother has meant more to us than we will ever be able to express. Thank you from our whole family for respecting our privacy as we take care of each other [heart emoji].”

“I am in shock and I have to go to my family, but this award is for her, she shaped me, she guided me, and she made me. I am beyond grateful that I get to say her name to all of you through Halina, the collision of life and art is heart-breaking, and my heart is broken.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has filed an emergency motion to challenge an order to pay $100 million to man he insisted he has “never heard of”.
The 54-year-old rapper failed to attend a virtual hearing on Monday (09.09.24) in connection to Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith’s sexual assault lawsuit against him and so Judge Anna Marie Anzalone awarded the default judgment in Lenawee County Circuit Court, but the ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ hitmaker’s legal team have now challenged the ruling.
According to court documents obtained by People magazine, Diddy’s attorneys argued his accuser – a “convicted felon who is serving time in prison for kidnapping and sexual assault” – has frequently filed “frivolous” claims in the past and his allegation of being sexually assaulted in 1997 is “objectively unbelievable”.
And they insisted many of Derrick’s claims, such as that he invested $150,000 for 49% of Diddy’s net worth, are fabricated, implausible, and full of “inconsistencies and fantastical claims”.
Marc Agnifilo, an attorney for the Bad Boy Records founder, said in a statement: “This man is a convicted felon and sexual predator, who has been sentenced on 14 counts of sexual assault and kidnapping over the last 26 years.
“His resume now includes committing a fraud on the court from prison, as Mr. Combs has never heard of him let alone been served with any lawsuit. Mr. Combs looks forward to having this judgment swiftly dismissed.”
In addition, the lawyers argued Diddy wasn’t properly served in the lawsuit, so the judgement is invalid.
They claimed their famous client was unaware of the suit until the news about the default judgement was reported in the media, and insisted any delay in his response was unintentional as he quickly filed the motion to vacate once he was made aware.
The motion branded the $100 million award “extraordinary and incompatible with any possible measure of actual damages even if every (facially implausible) allegation in the Complaint were true” as Combs “did not receive notice of the lawsuit” until Monday.
And they noted even if the claims were true, the statute of limitations ended in 2007 so they should have been dismissed.
Furthermore, Diddy filed a motion to dissolve a temporary restraining order and/or preliminary injunction, which had been granted in August.
In his lawsuit, the accuser alleged he had met the ‘Finna Get Loose’ hitmaker – who is facing a string of sexual assault and trafficking cases – in 1997 during an afterparty at a Detroit Holiday Inn. He claimed they got a private room with two women and Diddy groped his buttocks while Derrick was having sex with one of their female companions. He also accused the rapper of drugging and sexually assaulting him.

OHMYGOSSIP — The prosecutor handling Justin Timberlake’s driving while intoxicated (DWI) case has insisted the pop star isn’t getting any special treatment.
The 43-year-old pop star was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York, in June for allegedly driving while under the influence but his lawyer has reportedly reached an agreement with officials to drop the initial DWI charge to a minor traffic offence – and now Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney has insisted the case is being handled like any other.
He told New York Post column PageSix: “He’s charged with driving while intoxicated … [Then] there’s a lesser charge as driving while impaired, which happens in a number of cases. So we’re going to continue to negotiate the case.
“So we’ll see. We’ll see how it plays out in court, whether or not we could come to an agreement … There are certain things that the prosecution wants [and] certain things that the defence wants, and there’s certain things that the court wants. So you factor all of those things in. You go to court and see if you could work them out.”
He went on to insist Timberlake hasn’t been given any special treatment because of his high profile, adding: “The one thing that we want to make sure we’re doing is … being consistent, and we don’t want to treat any defendant better than others because of, you know, because of any perceived notoriety they may have.
“But we certainly don’t want to treat people worse for the same reason. So we’re taking pains to make sure that we’re treating this case like any other case of its kind.”
The case is due back in court on Friday (13.09.24) when a potential plea agreement will be heard and potentially signed off by a judge.
If Timberlake accepts a plea to a charge of Driving While Ability Impaired – which is not classed as drunk driving – he will be required to pay a $300 to $500 fine for the offence. The exact amount will be set by a judge during the hearing.
However, the NSYNC star will still have his driver’s license suspended in New York, a standard year-long punishment after he refused to submit to a Breathalyzer test when he was pulled over by police.

The Hollywood actor, 51, was born David Law but he’s always been known by his professional name of Jude – which is actually his middle name – and the ‘Sherlock Holmes’ star is adamant that everyone uses it and even his parents don’t call him David.
When asked about being given the nickname Celebrity Dave by the paparazzi, Jude told the Guardian newspaper: “I didn’t know the paps call me Celebrity Dave! If they do, it’s probably because the name in my passport is David Jude as opposed to Jude David.
“No one’s ever called me David. My mum and dad called me Jude. It was just one of those odd things they did.”
The actor was also asked whether he’s sick of hearing Beatles classic ‘Hey Jude’ and he replied: “Not at all. I love that song. Thank God it’s such a wonderful song. I have a very personal attachment because it’s a song my mum loved, so in truth it reminds me of her.
“I think it’s a brilliant song and I’m glad I have any kind of association with it. Do people sing it at me when I walk into the room? They will now.”
It comes after Jude opened up about shooting to fame in his 20s following the release of 1999 movie ‘The Talented Mr. Ripley’ – and admitted he feels he handles life in the spotlight “pretty well”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Bautista wants to lose weight because he looks “like a gorilla” next to other actors.
The 55-year-old former wrestler has sparked concern in recent weeks with his slimmed-down appearance and while he acknowledged he is “killing [himself]” to be slim, he thinks it is important so he doesn’t look too “distracting” on camera.
Speaking on the ‘Insight with Chris Van Vliet’ podcast, he said: “It’s weird because people think, like for me, people say, ‘God, you’re skinny.’ I even saw online some people are worried about my health, and when I say out loud to people, ‘I’m 6’4”, 240 pounds.’ It sounds like when you say that out loud, it sounds like I’m a big person.
“But to me, because people have seen me so much, so you know, so much bigger over the years, and you know, they think I’m anorexic.
“But I’m still just a large human being, so at 6’4”, 240 pounds next to your typical actor, I look like a gorilla, and it’s distracting.
“I’ll probably lose a few more pounds. I’m basically killing myself to be this trim. I’m training hard.”
Dave began trimming down after getting “uncomfortable big” for his role in 2023 thriller ‘Knock at the Cabin’, having gained weight to be “around 315 pounds” for the role.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nikki Garcia is seeking full custody of her son.
The former WWE star filed for divorce from Artem Chigvintsev on Wednesday (11.09.24), and in her petition, she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split and requested full legal and physical custody of four-year-old Matteo.
However, according to documents obtained by People magazine, Nikki requested the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ professional be allowed visitation rights to the little boy.
She also requested the court terminate spousal support for both parties.
The 40-year-old wrestler listed the couple’s date of separation as 29 August, the day Artem was arrested on a charge of corporal injury to a spouse in Napa Valley, California.
Although the couple got married in Paris in August 2022, the date they were legally wed was listed on the documents as 19 January, 2023.
Artem has yet to comment on the divorce news, while a spokesperson for Nikki said: “She continues to ask for privacy for her and her family at this time.”
Artem was arrested by the Napa County Sheriff’s Office on suspicion of felony corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant two weeks ago.
Audio of a 911 call obtained by TMZ featured a dispatcher saying the 42-year-old dancer had alleged his spouse had thrown her shoes at him.
The clip featured the dispatcher saying Artem’s call “initially came in as requesting medical, but now he is stating he got into an argument with his wife and his wife threw shoes at RP [reporting party].
“There is a child on scene. Medical en route.
“There’s an active 415 [disturbing the peace] in the background responsible.”
But the dancer then stated he no longer needed medical assistance, with the dispatcher confirming: “RP is stating no medical is needed now.”
Artem was booked on a charge of corporal injury to a spouse and released later in the day on $25,000 bond.
The pair met on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ in 2017 but didn’t start dating until the following year, after the retired wrestler had split from John Cena.
They got engaged in January 2020 and married in Paris in August 2022.
