OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Willoughby has returned to ‘This Morning’ after three weeks away.
The 40-year-old presenter has been in Italy presenting ‘Wim Hof’s Superstar Survival’ alongside comedian Lee Mack, but she returned to the brunchtime show today (03.02.22) alongside Josie Gibson, who is standing in for Phillip Schofield while he isolates after testing positive for coronavirus.
Holly said on ‘This Morning’: “I’ve been away, it’s lovely to see you. I feel like the blondes have taken over TV for the day.
“I’ve been in northern Italy, up in the Alps, doing a new TV show, which is coming out later this year.
“It was with Wim Hof, The Iceman, who believes in a cold shower a day keeps the doctor away. Completely bonkers but utterly brilliant.
“We were doing all sorts of crazy stuff. It was freezing. I’ve had heat packs in places I didn’t know existed.”
Holly tried to have a cold shower, but she only lasted 10 seconds, although she’s promised Wim she will attempt them at home.
She added: “I did try to have the cold showers. [I lasted] about 10 seconds.
“I promised Wim I was going to try, but I haven’t started trying yet.”
As well as usually co-hosting ‘This Morning’ together, Holly and Phillip also present ‘Dancing on Ice’, but earlier this week, the star admitted he was concerned he might not be able to make the ice skating show this weekend due to testing positive for COVID.
Speaking earlier this week, Phil said: “We’re a little bit worried about ‘Dancing On Ice’, because I’m cutting it a bit fine for that on Sunday.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win’ will return for a second series.
ITV have confirmed the entertainment show will be back for another run after the first series, which started last month and culminates this Saturday night (05.02.22), proved a hit with viewers.
Ant McPartlin said: “We are thrilled that ‘Limitless Win’ has been a hit with the viewers and is coming back for more.
“We’re beyond excited to be able do it all over again and we can’t wait to find new contestants to play the first TV show with a limitless jackpot!”
Declan Donnelly added: “We’re already preparing ourselves for another series of nail-biting drama, jeopardy and tension as we present more questions you can’t help but Google!
“We’re expecting more, and higher, dizzying climbs up the Limitless money ladder. We can’t wait.”
The first two episodes of the show saw big wins with NHS workers Will and Kathryn taking away £500,000 and father and son Tony and Zee closely following with £250,000.
Katie Rawcliffe, ITV Head of Entertainment Commissioning, said: “‘Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win’ has quickly become an audience favourite, with families up and down the country playing along from home- from searching their kitchen cupboards to identify the length of a Pringles tube to Googling the width of Michael Jordan’s handspan.

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘No Return’ star Sheridan Smith flew a nanny to Spain so she could film her new role.
The 40-year-old actress – who welcomed her son Billy in May 2020 with ex-fiancé Jamie Horn – felt “very grateful” to have the additional help, and admitted she doesn’t see why people are sometimes “embarrassed” to say they’ve had assistance.
She is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column as saying: “I had a nanny, Yvonne, to help me. Nannies are amazing. I wouldn’t be able to be working if I wasn’t for her.
“People sometimes are embarrassed to say they’ve got a nanny. But if I’m working full-time, there’s no way I could have him on set with me with him running around like he does at home.
“She was brilliant. I was very grateful to her because I would not be able to do the job otherwise.”
Sheridan, who will be playing a mum in the four-part ITV drama, admits she finds it tough working away from Billy.
She added: “I was in Budapest for six weeks on another job and I didn’t see him because we were just coming out of the pandemic. I missed him so much.”
The former ‘Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps’ star credits motherhood for making her a better person.
She said: “Becoming a mum was a great thing for me. I’m not selfish anymore. I don’t go home constantly thinking, ‘Was that scene all right?’ I just want to go home and see my son.”
Sheridan – who will be playing Kathy, the mum of a 16-year-old son who is accused of sexual assault on the holiday from hell – recently admitted she has been in tears over her role.
She previously said: “Playing roles before I had Billy to playing ones now I’ve had him, is totally different.
“People had said you can’t understand the protectiveness and the overwhelming fear when you have a child and, he’s not even two yet, but I feel it. I hope it will resonate with the audience, they’ll be feeling all the angst as well. It’s every parent’s worst nightmare. I love playing protective mums like that. Kathy is a lioness.
“I’ve never been to a read-through like the one for this. It was so powerful. I mean, I cried all the way through.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sally Dynevor initially thought an email about her MBE was a “hoax”.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who has played Sally Metcalfe on the cobbles since 1986 – was honoured by Princess Anne at Windsor Castle on Wednesday (02.02.22) after being named in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List in 2020 for her services to drama.
Speaking at the ceremony, Sally admitted she called up her son when she was first offered the MBE.
She revealed: “I said, ‘Sam, I’ve had this email and I’m really worried about it because it says I’m up for an MBE but that can’t be right.’ Sam said, ‘I don’t think anyone would joke about that, mum.’ ”
As reported by the BBC, Sally said Princess Anne told her how “dangerous” her decision to take part in the current series of ‘Dancing On Ice’ was.
She also took to Instagram after the ceremony to reflect on an “incredible” day.
Alongside a series of snaps of Sally with her medal, she wrote: “What an incredible morning.
“So many people I would like to thank @alissinc @livdaveymakeup.Thank you Liv, for my hair and makeup @coronationstreet @dancingonice @preventbreastcancer and of course @dynevortim (sic)”
While she was awarded her medal this week, Sally was named in the New Year Honours List in 2020.
She said at the time: “I am humbled, grateful and very proud to have received this honour. I am still in shock.
“I didn’t believe it was real when I first found out earlier this month that I was to be given an MBE. Keeping it a secret has been so difficult.
“The young girl in those scenes [on ‘Coronation Street’] 35 years ago could only have dreamed of the incredible things that were going to happen in the coming years.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro Amy Dowden is gearing up to front a new dance series.
The Welsh ballroom dancer – who partnered McFly singer Tom Fletcher in last year’s series – will take to the floor once again in new show, ‘Amy Dowden’s Dare to Dance’.
The programme – which will air on BBC Wales – will see individuals and groups of people perform dance routines specially choreographed by Amy to surprise their friends and family.
Each routine will have a hidden message behind the dance, such as a proposal, or to simply say thanks.
Amy said: “I’m thrilled to be fronting my own series for BBC Wales.
“Dance can have such a positive impact on physical and mental health, socialising and self-confidence so it’ll be a privilege to share my passion with people and help them experience their own special moment on the dancefloor.
“It’s going to be such a joyous and uplifting show and I can’t wait to take people on their own dance journey.”
Nick Andrews, head of content commissioning for BBC Wales, added: “It’s terrific to have Amy on the channel fronting her own show and genuinely changing lives through dance.
“She’s beloved by so many and her warmth for people is just the tonic we all need.”
The 31-year-old star – who was recently rushed to hospital for a second time in eight weeks after suffering a Crohn’s flare up – opened up about her debilitating disease in a recent documentary titled ‘Strictly Amy: Crohn’s and Me’, which won a BAFTA Cymru award in 2021.
‘Amy Dowden’s Dare to Dance’ will air on BBC One Wales in early 2023.

OHMYGOSSIP — Dick and Dom aren’t allowed on TikTok because their name is deemed too rude.
Presenting duo Richard McCourt and Dominic Wood – who created and fronted children’s TV favourite ‘Dick and Dom in da Bungalow’ across five series from 2002 to 2006 – have revealed they’re having trouble getting past the video sharing app’s restrictions.
As quoted by The Sun newspaper, they said: “How the hell are we supposed to join TikTok? We can’t sign up and no one can search for us.”
If anyone tries to search for the double act’s name, users are met with a message which reads: “This phrase may be associated with behaviour or content that violates our guidelines.
“Promoting a safe and positive experience is TikTok’s top priority.”
The duo – who are set to return this year with an adult version of their hit show – previously insisted their iconic kid’s TV programme couldn’t be made now because so many of the gags would be deemed cruel.
The comedy series featured many stunts, such as the pair loudly yelling “bogeys” in public and the game Baldy Slap Heads, but they admit that they would not be able to make those jokes now due to political correctness.
Speaking last year, Dom said: “We got people to hold puppies, which would lick dog food off vases, it was very funny. The dogs were happy, but nowadays that just would not be allowed.”
Dick and Dom were famously criticised by a senior MP in the House of Commons back in 2005.
Peter Luff invited then culture secretary Tessa Jowell into his office to view the show, which he considered inappropriate for young viewers and not something the BBC should be broadcasting.
He said: “You can join me in playing How Low Can You Bungalow?, a test to see your response to grossly embarrassing personal situations, largely of a lavatorial nature; Pants Dancers in the Hall of Fame, photos of children with underwear on their heads; Make Dick Sick, a game which I think speaks for itself; and finally Bunged Up, in which you play a character in a sewerage system avoiding turtle poos coming from various lavatories.
“Is that really the stuff of public service broadcasting?”
BBC defended the double BAFTA-winning show saying it was popular with all audiences.
A spokeswoman said at the time: “‘Dick and Dom in da Bungalow’ remains one of the most popular shows, which transmits both on The CBBC Channel and BBC One. The show and presenters won children’s BAFTAs in 2004. It is pure fun and entertainment, aimed at 8-12 year-olds, so it is unsurprising that it doesn’t appeal to some adults.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Hours of unheard ‘Only Fools And Horses’ jokes could be lost forever.
Actor Michael Fenton Stevens, 63, has revealed the beloved sitcom’s late writer John Sullivan deliberately wrote an extra 10 minutes of material for every episode to make sure they still had enough gags left after editing.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “Every half hour script has 10 minutes of material which was cut.
“If you can find the original scripts from before they were printed to be used in the studio, if you can get them from when he was writing – and they must be somewhere, his family must have them on record – I think it would be brilliant to read through all those bits that were cut.
“I don’t remember there being anything in it that was worth cutting, we just cut it because we had to, which was a shame.”
Michael – who appeared as a holiday rep in 1989 episode ‘The Unlucky Winner Is…’ – had a great time appearing on the show, and by that point the writers had a bit more freedom.
He explained: “It was a very big programme by then. I was in series six and it had just gone to 40 minutes so they had the extra time to do things.”
Meanwhile, he admitted Del Boy actor Sir David Jason even had to try and calm down the live studio audience because they were laughing too much during filming – even when the cast weren’t cracking any jokes.
He added: “By series six of it the audience just loved it, they loved every moment of it and, of course, were extremely excited about being in the audience of Only Fools and Horses.
“Then the first scene happens and they roared with laughter at every line, even the lines that weren’t funny.
“I think David Jason did stop halfway through the scene and said, ‘You can’t laugh at bloody everything! Go back to the top. Calm down, calm down, you lot.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Francesca Kennedy Wallbank has been fired on ‘The Apprentice’.
The 26-year-old eco-conscious mathematician ended the girls winning streak when she was axed from the BBC show.
Tonight’s episode saw the candidates tasked with creating a video game. Brittany’s green concept of global warming and saving the animals failed to impress Lord Sugar in the boardroom, but it was Francesca who was in charge of branding that faced the wrath of the business mogul for misspelling Arctic without the C.
Lord Sugar turned to Francesca and said “You’re responsible for the name, the character, the tease, Francesca you’re fired.”
In a Q&A interview, she said: “He fired me because of a spelling error but he himself, in his autobiography, refers to his own spelling as atrocious, so I think we probably have more in common than he realises!
“I wish more of my performance in the other tasks were taken into account when the decision was made, after all it is a process and everything that has happened prior should be taken into consideration, in my opinion.”
Francesca who came up with the name ‘Artic Saviour’ didn’t think she deserved to go based on a spelling mistake as she thought the failure of the task lay with the concept not the branding.
She added: “When you are brought back into that final boardroom, it’s all about the reason the task failed. The feedback from the panel was that ultimately the concept of sustainability wasn’t right for the game, the game pay was very boring and the spelling mistake let the branding down. So two of the three things that failed the task had nothing to do with me. Maybe the wrong person was fired, however, I love Brittany and I think she’s going to go really far in this process.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Holden could fill in for Phillip Schofield on ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The ‘This Morning’ presenter has tested positive for COVID-19 and admitted he might be “cutting it a bit fine” to co-host Sunday’s (06.02.22) fourth episode in the current series, with bosses now considering having the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge join Holly Willoughby this weekend.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “ITV is a progressive channel which wants to reflect the modern world as much as possible.
“And while Dancing On Ice’s bosses are gutted to see Phillip forced to temporarily step down from hosting duties, that also presents an opportunity to have two women front the show.
“Producers have seen the energy that Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman have brought to ‘Strictly’ and they’re curious to see how Holly bounces off another female presenters.”
However, the insider noted there is no doubt Phillip will be back on the show once he’s able to return.
The source added: “There’s no question of Phillip not returning. He’ll be champing at the bit to get back to work.”
On Tuesday (02.02.22), Phillip appeared on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ to confirm his positive test.
He said: “There are a number of things I’m disappointed about. Obviously, I’m disappointed I’m not there.
“We’re a little bit worried about ‘Dancing On Ice’, because I’m cutting it a bit fine for that on Sunday.
“I’m going to miss Gok’s dumplings, which I’m gutted about.”
But Phil admitted he is feeling OK and doesn’t even have a sore throat anymore.
He said: “I’m fine. I haven’t even got a sore throat now. I sneezed twice, and that’s it.
“I’ve got a slight temperature, but that’s about it.”
Phil has been co-hosting the show alongside Rochelle Humes over the last few weeks as Holly Willoughby has been filming a new BBC show with Lee Mack, ‘Superstar Survival’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Cillian Murphy says it felt “strange” being on the set of ‘Peaky Blinders’ without the late Helen McCrory.
The acclaimed actress tragically lost her battle with cancer at the age of 52 in April 2021, and her co-star and “dear pal” in the hit period crime drama has opened up in a new cover interview with Esquire UK about how much her absence was felt when she couldn’t film the sixth and final instalment in January 2021 because of her diagnosis.
Cillian, who hailed Helen as “so f***ing brave and courageous”, admitted it was a “confusing” time grieving for someone “so young” and close to him.
He told the publication: “We were just reeling throughout the whole thing. She was a dear, dear pal and she was the beating heart of that show, so it felt very strange being on set without her. The difficult thing to comprehend is that, if it wasn’t for Covid, there would be a whole other version of this show with Helen in it. But she was so private and so f***ing brave and courageous. She was inspirational. People throw that word around, but she genuinely was. Her values, the way she dealt with her kids and Damian [Lewis, the actor, and McCrory’s husband of 14 years]… She cares about everybody. She’s really funny and really cool, and she had this real warmth. She really cared. It’s just… I still can’t believe she’s not here. It doesn’t make sense. I’ve never lost anyone like that — who was young and a friend. It was very confusing. But she was magnificent. She was an absolutely magnificent person.”
Helen played Polly Gray in the BBC series alongside Cillian as protagonist Thomas Shelby.
The 45-year-old Irish actor admitted: “It wasn’t a very pleasant shooting experience, for loads of different reasons.”
Elsewhere, Cillian insisted he’s not sure whether or not his WW1 veteran alter ego has been “redeemed” in the finale.
He said: “I think that’s what Steve [Steven Knight, the shows Screenwriter] was aiming for, with loads of wrong turns along the way. But I don’t know. I’ll leave that to the court of public opinion. I don’t know if he’s been redeemed.”
The ‘Dunkirk’ star teased that the upcoming series is “dark as f***”.
And Cillian also revealed he is “open” to reprising his role for a spin-off movie.
He added: “I’m open to ideas. I think he [Steven Knight] wants to, but I haven’t read anything.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Solomon’s ‘Sort Your Life Out’ is to return for a second series.
The 32-year-old star will return to front the BBC One show – in which Stacey and her team, Robert Bent, Dilly Carter and Iwan Carrington, transform families’ lives by decluttering their homes – for a new six-part series.
Stacey said: “There’s nothing that brings me more joy than decluttering my home, so it was amazing to share my tips and tricks with wonderful families in the first series of ‘Sort Your Life Out’.
“Letting go of belongings can be a really vulnerable, challenging and emotional experience.
“I feel lucky to help people through the process and sort out their homes for the better.
“I can’t wait to be reunited with my dream team Dilly, Robert and Iwan for more incredible transformations.”
The first six-part series, which began in November, sees Stacey help a different family each episode to empty out their home of all their possessions.
Stacey and her team then sort everything into categories in a warehouse, where the family can then decide what they want to discard, sell, or recycle.
BBC Commissioning Editor Beejal-Maya Patel added: “‘Sort Your Life Out’ is perfect television.
“These heart-warming stories of families overwhelmed by possessions and reluctant to let go of the past, is something we can all relate to.
