Andy Serkis to direct an animated take on Animal Farm

OHMYGOSSIP — Andy Serkis is to direct an animated adaptation of ‘Animal Farm’.
The 58-year-old actor and filmmaker is to helm a take on George Orwell’s dystopian fable, which tells the story of a group of farm animals who rebel against their human owner in the hope of creating a society where they can be free and equal, for Aniventure and his company The Imaginarium.
Nicholas Stoller has adapted the screenplay for Serkis’ long-awaited movie, which had previously been set up at Netflix, and will produce with Adam Nagle, Dave Rosenbaum and Jonathan Cavendish.
Andy said: “The challenging journey to bring this extraordinary story to the screen has been finally rewarded by the opportunity to partner with the brilliant team at Aniventure and Cinesite.
“Together we hope to make our version of Orwell’s ever relevant masterpiece, emotionally powerful, humourous, and relatable for all ages. A tale not only for our times, but for generations to come.”
Nagle added: “Ever since 1945, when George Orwell first published ‘Animal Farm’, the story has remained relevant and a key instrument in understanding how the world works.
“Andy has had a special talent for creating unique and memorable characters during his remarkable career and we’re thrilled to be working with him, Jonathan and Cinesite to adapt ‘Animal Farm’ for modern audiences.”
Serkis is famed for his motion capture acting and credits it for keeping him fit as physicality is required for a lot of his roles.
The ‘Lord of the Rings’ star explained: “It’s kept me fit, especially the more physical roles like Caesar (in the ‘Planet of the Apes’ films), who goes from an infant chimpanzee right through into adulthood.
“I’ve always been quite a physical person and enjoy mountaineering, climbing and cycling. But those roles take it out of you, for sure.”

Tamzin Outhwaite pretends her mum is still alive

OHMYGOSSIP — Tamzin Outhwaite pretends her late mother is still alive and “living abroad” four years after her death.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star has opened up about her mum Anna Santis, who passed away after an aneurysm aged 67 in April 2018, and the actress admitted she never thought about life without her around.
Appearing on Tuesday’s episode (19.04.22) of BBC show ‘Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof’, she said: “I thought she would always be alive – she’d be the last person to go.
“I do still now think she is living in Spain, where she was, and happy. I just think she’s there… I just pretend, in my head.”
The 51-year-old star described Anna as “imperfect” and “brilliant”, and noted there is “never anything you can do right as a parent”.
She added: “Now all I think is I’d just like one more chat, one more cuddle. And now I realise how she was – the laughter, the light and the relaxed energy.”
In June last year, Tamzin took to Instagram to share an emotional message about her mother, admitting she misses her on what would have been her 71st birthday.
She wrote: “June 17th always reminding us of the circle of life…. My mum and eldest child’s joint birthday… Mum always said , her first grandchild ,on her birthday , was the best present she ever had… Happy 71st mummy…
“We all miss you but feel you all the time.. I have honestly never heard anyone say a negative word about my mum… ( apart from her terrible time keeping)what a beautiful achievement x #alwaystryingtobemorelikeyou (sic)”
Tamzin – who has kids Florence, 13, and Marnie, nine, with ex Tom Ellis – once considered getting Botox and fillers, but she always thinks about what her mother would say, and believes she would encourage her to be “natural” so she decides against the treatments.
She said: “I hear mum when I occasionally consider getting Botox, fillers, or whatever. “‘What are you thinking about that, for?’ She says in my mind. ‘Just have some apple cider vinegar and drink a glass of warm water!’
“Mum believed in being natural. She taught me so much and I constantly strive to be like her. (sic)”

Bill Roache used to ‘really fancy’ Queen Elizabeth

OHMYGOSSIP — Bill Roache used to “really fancy” Queen Elizabeth.
The ‘Coronation Street’ legend – who has played Ken Barlow in the ITV soap since it was first broadcast on 9 December 1960 – has admitted the 95-year-old monarch “was very attractive”, and he has enjoyed meeting her eight different times.
He said: “I’ve met the queen eight times. I first met her when I was 21 and I was in the Army and we had the day with her which was very nice.
“I really fancied her! I don’t know if that’s heresy but she was very attractive.”
The queen turns 96 on Thursday (21.04.22), and Bill will celebrate his 90th birthday on Monday (25.04.22).
Bill spoke about his adoration of the royal in new ITV documentary ‘Happy Birthday Bill’, in which he was shown a picture of a party the queen attended, which featured a goat who smoked.
Speaking on the doc ahead of his latest milestone, he added: “This is the party with the Queen! I remember being there because she was fascinated by the regimental goat.
“The goat ate cigarettes, two cigarettes a day, and she was feeding him.”
The queen paid a visit to Bill’s second home, Coronation Street’s Weatherfield, in July last year, where she met Bill and his co-stars Barbara Knox (Rita Tanner), Sue Nicholls (Audrey Roberts) and Helen Worth (Gail Platt) outside the Rovers Return at Manchester’s MediaCityUK.
Elizabeth looked delighted to meet the ‘Corrie’ quartet, and during her cobbles visit – to celebrate the show’s 60th anniversary – she learned how the soap adapted its filming process amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The queen last visited Weatherfield in 1982 – at the old set in Manchester’s Granada Studios – alongside her late husband Prince Philip, who died aged 99 in April 2021.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are to reunite for a movie about the sportswear company Nike.
Affleck is directing the as-yet-untitled drama for Amazon Studios, Skydance Sports and Mandalay Pictures.
The movie will tell the remarkable story of how Sonny Vaccaro (Damon), a sneaker salesman, led Nike’s pursuit of the basketball icon Michael Jordan.
Ben, 49, will play the Nike co-founder Phil Knight in the story surrounding the company’s attempts to sign Jordan to its shoe firm in the mid-1980s – an endorsement that seemed unlikely at the time but would go on to become the most significant relationship between an athletic brand and a sportsperson and launched the multibillion-dollar sneaker industry.
Sonny’s attempts to sign Jordan to what was then the third-place shoe company takes him to the sports star’s parents – particularly his powerful and dynamic mother.
Jordan is a giant mythic figure above the movie and is never seen as Sonny tries to reach him by gaining access to his entourage.
Alex Convery wrote the original script, titled ‘Air Jordan’, for the story and it was named on the 2021 Black List of the best unproduced screenplays. Ben and Matt are doing a new pass on the script and will produce the flick.
Affleck and Damon have worked together on films such as ‘Good Will Hunting’ and ‘The Last Duel’ and the latter believes their writing process is now far more efficient than earlier in their careers.
Matt, 51, recalled: “I think that writing process for ‘Good Will Hunting’ was so inefficient.
“You know, because we didn’t really understand structure so we wrote thousands of pages. … We’d be like, ‘Well, what if this happened?,’ and then we’d just write different scenes. So, we had all these kind of disparate scenes and then we kind of tried to jam them together into something that looked like a movie.”

Gemma Oaten diagnosed with rare condition

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Oaten has been diagnosed with a rare kidney condition.
The former ‘Emmerdale’ star took to Instagram to reveal she has been in hospital since Saturday (16.04.22) and has since been diagnosed with milk alkali syndrome – a condition in which there is a high level of calcium in the body – which can lead to kidney failure and even death.
She wrote: “Hi everyone. I’m so sorry I’ve been quiet. I’ve been inundated with messages and tried to keep up, as have my parents, but we’ve hit a brick wall. I just thought it best to do an update for all you lovely people so our phones can cool down and we can get some rest at what’s been a really horrible time for us all and my close family and friends.
So…
I’ve been in hospital since Saturday and things quickly took a turn for the worse. As many know I tested positive for covid last Tuesday but woke early hours Saturday morning with excruciating chest, stomach and back pains. I called 111 for advice and they sent an ambulance and its all been a blur and very surreal, but too real as well if that makes sense?
Long story short and I’ll explain more when I am ready and fully fit, but I was diagnosed with milk alkali syndrome which in rare and severe cases (like mine) leads to kidney failure or worse, death.
Yep. All a bit much. Thank you to @henriettamac for making me seek help and pushing me to put me first and for all her care and @joffpowell for bringing me clean knickers and all the magazines and puzzles a girl could dream of and for being my rock as always. Both of you. You’re amazing.

Rylan Clark ‘first choice’ to host Big Brother revival

OHMYGOSSIP — Rylan Clark is said to be “first choice” to host the upcoming ‘Big Brother’ reboot.
The beloved reality show – which was axed five years ago by Channel 5 – is said to be poised for a return on ITV2 in autumn 2023, and the former ‘Bit On The Side’ presenter is seemingly in pole position to front the comeback.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “Rylan couldn’t have made it any clearer with his intention – he would love that job.
“Those working on the early stages of the production think the same and this role is made for Rylan. He is the first choice of host above Davina [McCall] and Emma [Willis] for many.
“Rylan is really current and has a huge following, plus his love of ‘Big Brother’ makes him the ultimate fan. There really is no one better placed to take it on.”
It’s said Rylan has made sure bosses know he’s thrilled by the prospect of the show being back on air.
He added: “Rylan put himself front and centre with a number of telly producers the moment he found out ‘Big Brother’ was coming back.
“He absolutely loves the show and when the news broke he texted a handful of people to show just how excited he was about Big Brother’s return.”
‘Big Brother’ first ran from 2000 to 2010 on Channel 4, before Channel 5 relaunched it in 2011 until it ended in September 2018.
Former hosts include Davina McCall, Brian Dowling and Emma Willis.
ITV bosses are considering broadcasting the show in the autumn, after the summer season of ‘Love Island’ has aired.
A source recently said: “They think putting it on ITV2 will open it up to a new audience and legion of younger fans.
“They are really keen on getting the deal done on ‘Big Brother’, and hope to have something firm to announce soon.
“The talks are still at an early, and delicate, stage and the next few weeks will be key.”

Piers Morgan to return to ITV for first time since quitting Good Morning Britain

OHMYGOSSIP — Piers Morgan will return to ITV tomorrow (21.04.22) for the first time since he dramatically quit ‘Good Morning Britain’.
The 57-year-old TV presenter took to Twitter to reveal he will appear on Lorraine Kelly’s live morning show ‘Lorraine’ on Thursday, just over a year after he stormed off ‘GMB’ during a debate about Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and he quit the show later that March 2021 evening.
Piers tweeted: “BREAKING: I’ll be returning to ITV tomorrow for first time since the Markle Debacle… live definitely uncensored on @lorraine with the fabulous @reallorraine – should be fun… (may even storm back onto @GMB while I wait, get those ratings back up.) (sic)”
The former ‘GMB’ host looks set to promote his new TalkTV show, ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored’, on the ITV daytime programme.
Last month, Piers took a swipe at ITV as he announced his new show, which vows to “cancel cancel culture”.
In a teaser for his new programme, he claimed he was “forced to leave” the job which he “loved”, a year to the day after he stormed off ‘GMB’ and quit the programme later that evening.
In the clip, which included footage of him walking off ‘GMB’, posted on his Twitter account, he said: “A year ago today, I was forced to leave a job that I loved, at the peak of its success, for having the audacity to express an honestly held opinion.
“This shouldn’t happen in any democracy supposedly built on the principles of free speech and freedom of expression.
“So I’m delighted to now be returning to live television with a new prime-time show, whose main purpose will be to cancel the cancel culture which has infected societies around the world.
“I want it to be a platform for lively, vigorous debate, the news-making interviews, and that increasingly taboo three-letter word – fun. I also want it to annoy all the right people. I’m Piers Morgan, uncensored.”
Piers quit ‘GMB’ on March 9th 2021, after Ofcom received a record 58,000 complaints about his comments toward Meghan following her interview with Oprah Winfrey days earlier.
Earlier in the day, he stormed off the ‘GMB’ set after his co-star Alex Beresford accused him of “trashing” Meghan – who is married to Prince Harry – during a debate about her tell-all chat.
Piers has since been cleared by the media regulator, which found he did not breach the broadcasting code.

Strictly Come Dancing eyeing Pasquale La Rocca as Aljaz Skorjanec’s replacement?

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ bosses are said to be keen on Pasquale La Rocca to potentially replace Aljaz Skorjanec.
The ‘Dancing with the Stars’ champion, who’s won the Irish version of the show twice, as well as the Belgian version once, is thought to be in line to replace the Slovenian professional dancer, who announced his departure from the BBC Latin and ballroom show last month.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “’Strictly’ bosses have drawn up a wish list and would love Pasquale as long as they could prise him away from the Irish show. He is super-talented and an exciting prospect.”
If successful, it would see the Italian choreographer go down the same career path as Kai Widdrington, who also joined ‘Strictly’ from ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
Pasquale recently sparked speculation he could be making a move.
He said: “When you are part of the ‘DWTS’ market around the world, of course you are seen and spotted by other countries. You have to leave and go to another place.
“I don’t know what is going to happen. But I’m a big fan of the ‘Dancing With The Stars’ franchise. I haven’t stopped moving since I started in 2019, and I will keep going.”
The BBC have already confirmed some of the pros for this year’s series, including Dianne Buswell, Graziano Di Prima, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Neil Jones, Cameron Lombard, Gorka Marquez, Giovanni Pernice, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Nancy Xu, and Kai.
Two more pro dancers are expected to be announced for the show, following the exits of Oti Mabuse and Aljaž.
In a statement released last month on Instagram, Aljaž said: “On a beautiful sunny day in May 2013 one phone call changed my life forever!
“It went like this… we would like to offer you a position on @bbcstrictly as a professional dancer. A dream became a reality and it was the biggest opportunity for a 23 year old boy from Slovenia

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is up for Best International Film at the 8th annual National Film Awards UK.
The superhero blockbuster, which stars Tom Holland and Zendaya, has been recognised by the National Film Academy in the nominations for the ceremony that will take place in London on July 4.
‘No Time to Die’, ‘I Care A Lot’, ‘Citation’, ‘The Harder They Fall’, ‘Don’t Look Up’, ‘Spencer’, ‘King Richard’, and ‘People Just Do Nothing: Big in Japan’ have also made the academy’s shortlist for the gong.

Zoe Kravitz was daunted by past portrayals of Catwoman

OHMYGOSSIP — Zoe Kravitz felt the pressure of living up to previous portrayals of Catwoman.
The 33-year-old actress played Selina Kyle/Catwoman in ‘The Batman’ and has revealed that she was terrified about playing a part that has been brought to life by stars such as Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry.
In the new book ‘The Art of The Batman’, Zoe recalled: “When I got this part, I was floored, and then when the news came out I, to this day, not even on my birthday, have never received so many phone calls and text messages.
“That was when it hit me – this isn’t just big to me, this is just a big deal. Eartha Kitt and Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry, everybody. It’s an honour to be in that group of people.”
The ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ star continued: “There were times when I really had to actually step away from that, because I think the pressure for it to be iconic, or to compare myself to those other incredible actresses, I think it’s really dangerous.”
Zoe also discussed exploring the “grey area” of whether Catwoman is a hero or villain and the importance of not making her alter ego a “victim” in Matt Reeves’ movie.
She explained: “I wouldn’t call Selina a villain, but I think even some of the other villains in the story, they all have really interesting valid points, and I think that’s what’s so wonderful about this world. The exploration of the grey area.
“What was really important to me is that Selina didn’t come off as a victim, because she comes from a really troubled past, and I think there can be a little bit of a trap with female characters who come from troubled pasts, or are vengeful in some way where they feel like a victim.
“I really found a character who was more than just a sidekick or more than just a good-looking girl in a tight outfit. This is a real person who has struggled a lot, and I admire her and feel for her.”

Ex on the Beach star Nicole Bass announces she’s pregnant with first child

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Bass is pregnant with her first child.
The ‘Ex on the Beach’ star – who rose to fame after first appearing on ITV’s ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ in 2015 – has been dating a mystery man for two years, and she’s expecting a baby with her beau.
She took to Instagram on Tuesday (19.04.22) and shared a heartwarming black and white video showing her positive test and growing baby bump alongside pictures from her scan, and wrote: “Half of you [and] half of me. Baby Beasley due October 2022, daddy [and] me can’t wait to hold
“We are so happy our hearts are full, baby you are so loved already. Anyone who knows me personally, knows I have dreamed of this moment to have a family of my own, to have a family with the love of my life [and] the most amazing partner a girl could only wish for is a dream come true.
“I love you both dearly. (sic)”
The video – which was set to Ed Sheeran’s hit ‘Small Bump’ – also featured Nicole’s boyfriend for the first time, as he had previously not been seen on her social media.
Nicole, who is due in October, also shared the moment she told her family as well as well as a screen shot of the moment she revealed the news to best friend and former ‘Love Island’ star Olivia Atwood which read: “Hello auntie Olivia [and] uncle Brad.”

Ant Middleton’s novel set to be made into TV series

OHMYGOSSIP — Ant Middleton’s novel ‘Cold Justice’ is set to be made into a TV series.
The 41-year-old former soldier – who was axed from ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’ last year by Channel 4 bosses due to his “personal conduct” – wrote the thriller about a military man seeking revenge, and now it could get the small screen treatment.
A source has said there are a number of production companies competing for the rights to the book.
The insider told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “When Ant was axed from ‘SAS’ it was all so public that I’d not have been surprised if he gave up on telly altogether.
“But somewhere along the way he’s developed a following for his outspoken, no-nonsense self-help chat and those same fans have lapped up his fiction debut.
“There’s no denying that ‘Cold Justice’ – which is about a military man seeking revenge after getting pushed out of his job under dubious circumstances – will make a great TV show.”
There are no word on which companies are in the race for the rights.
Following his ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’ exit, Ant vowed to “never” work for Channel 4 again.
The broadcaster had stated the “decision not to renew Ant Middleton’s contract and not to work with him again was solely based on his personal conduct off-camera”.
Addressing his fans on his ‘Mind Over Muscle’ speaking tour, Ant later said: “W*****s! No, no, no, they’re not w*****s. They’re ****s. I’m never working for that channel again, am I? F*** it.”
The army veteran believes that Channel 4 got rid of him from the reality show – which he had fronted from 2015 until his exit in 2021 – because they were kowtowing to “political correctness”.
He added: “When political correctness or box-ticking exercises filter into an authentic process, it’s gonna take away the authenticity, it takes away the realness.
“For something we’ve been through, that we sacrificed through, that’s something we’re gonna butt heads about every single time.”

Doctor Who writer holding on to story idea

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Doctor Who’ writer Pete McTighe is “holding on” to his season 13 idea that was axed due to COVID.
The writer previously penned episodes ‘Kerblam!’ for season 11 and ‘Praxeus’ for season 12, and although he does not feature among the writers for season 13 as production clashed with his series ‘The Pact’ due to COVID delays, he has hopes that his idea will be used in the future.
Pete told National World: “I was going to come and do series 13. I was doing [crime drama] ‘The Pact’ at the same time – when COVID happened, we had to move our shooting dates for ‘The Pact’, which meant that I was kind of taken out for the production period of ‘Doctor Who’.
“We shot ‘The Pact’ series one at the same time ‘Doctor Who’ was shooting. We were shooting, actually, in quarries next door to each other at one stage. They were in a quarry shooting the Sontaran episode, and we were literally over the road in the woods shooting ‘The Pact’.
When asked about his idea for the ‘Doctor Who’ episode, he said: “”I’ll hold on to it, because ‘Doctor Who’ ideas are never dead. Hopefully one day I’ll get to use it.”
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that a special episode of ‘Doctor Who’ to mark the BBC’s Centenary will see the return of two former companions.
The Master, the Daleks and the Cybermen are all set to return later this year for Jodie Whittaker’s final outing as the Time Lord in the BBC cult classic.
However, fans will be most excited to hear that Janet Fielding is set to reprise her role as Tegan Jovanka – which she played from 1981 and 1984 – and Sophie Aldred will be back as Ace, the companion to Sylvester McCoy’s Doctor from 1987 to 1989.
Sacha Dhawan will return as the Doctor’s enemy The Master.
And Vinder (Jacob Anderson) and Kate Stewart (Jemma Redgrave) are also set for a comeback.
Showrunner Chris Chibnall said: “Jodie’s final feature-length story contains a plethora of treats and surprises for audiences and fans, not least the return of two of the most beloved companions in the show’s history. They’ll be helping the Doctor fight on three fronts, against her deadliest enemies: the Master, Daleks and Cybermen, in one huge story!
For the BBC’s Centenary, we’ll be celebrating the past, present and future of Doctor Who, in a fittingly thrilling, epic and emotional send-off for the Thirteenth Doctor.”

Paul O’Grady’s Saturday Night Line-Up shelved by ITV

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul O’Grady’s ‘Saturday Night Line-Up’ has been shelved by ITV.
The broadcaster confirmed to TV Zone that there are “no plans for future series” of the Liverpudlian’s prime-time entertainment show, which failed to set viewing figures alight.
The format saw the comedian quiz guest stars about “intriguing” scenarios and dilemmas, and the studio audience were able to get involved and throw a few questions the celebs’ way.
The show aired in Autumn 2021 and had a Christmas special.
Catherine Tyldesley was an announcer, while guests included Mel B, Julian Clary, Bill Bailey, Amanda Holden and Dame Joan Collins.
Paul shot a pilot of the programme in 2019, and joked at the time it was unlikely to make it to a full series because it was “too rude”.
He laughed: “This will never get to a series.
“It’s the dirtiest show that is possible on telly. It is too rude. But they want a bit of rudeness now.
“I mean who the f*** wants to watch Alan Titchmarsh? You know what they are like at ITV, they are a bit leg-crossed aren’t they? Phil and Holly – the pair who p*** themselves if somebody says ‘bum.'”
Meanwhile, Paul recently insisted there is “not enough money in the world” for him to be Lily Savage again.
The 66-year-old presenter shot to fame thanks to his drag alter ego but he admitted that not only does he think he’s “too old” to bring the character back, he also can’t “be bothered” with having to dress up in her elaborate outfits.
He said: “There’s not enough cash on earth to get me dragged up. God no. It’s always been, ‘Why don’t you be Lily Savage again?’ Well, because one, I’m too old. And two, I couldn’t be bothered.
“At the time I thoroughly enjoyed it but I’ve moved on. Even in panto I wouldn’t fancy it.”
Paul donated one of Lily’s wigs to the V A Museum in London for a costumes exhibition and he’s amazed at the effort he used to go to to dress up as her.
He added: “I went up to my loft and found it. It was so heavy and I thought, ‘How did I glue it down and put on all that make-up?’ You just think ‘Ugh!’”

Filming halted on Aziz Ansari’s Being Mortal

OHMYGOSSIP — Filming has halted on Aziz Ansari’s ‘Being Mortal’, following a complaint filed last week.
Searchlight Pictures has suspended production on Ansari’s feature film directorial debut while it undertakes an investigation into the complaint.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the complaint is not related to Ansari and he and his producing partner Youree Henley are working with Searchlight to resolve the matter.
The subject of the complaint has not been revealed.
Meanwhile, ‘Being Mortal’ is based on Atul Gawande’s non-fiction book ‘Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End’, which explores topics including end-of-life care and how medicine has changed over time.
Ansari wrote the script for the movie, which stars Seth Rogen and Bill Murray.
Searchlight Pictures previously said the company was “thrilled” to be working with Ansari on the film, which will be released in cinemas at some point in 2023.
The company’s presidents, David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield, said in a statement: “Aziz Ansari is an incredible talent and, with this script, he brings a singular combination of insightful humour and pathos.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with him on his feature directorial debut which is long overdue, and of course working with the genius Bill Murray once again.”

Andrew Garfield would love to work with ‘good buddy’ Tobey Maguire again

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew Garfield “would love” to work with close pal Tobey Maguire again.
The pair became acquainted working on blockbuster ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ – which saw three generations of Spider-Man on screen for the first time, with the pair joining fellow web-slinger Tom Holland – and he’s keen to appear alongside his “good buddy” in something else.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, Andrew said: “He’s such a great actor and a good buddy and I just love him. I love spending time with him.”
Andrew said of the pals’ recent outing to see ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ at the cinema: “It was great fun.”
Before he added: “And I would love to make something with him, for sure.”
It’s not the first time Andrew has expressed his desire to work with Tobey again, as he recently said he’d jump at the chance to continue his working relationship with both him and Tom.
He said: “I would love to continue working with Tobey and with Tom. I think that kind of three-brother dynamic is so … I don’t know, juicy.”
However, some fans will be disappointed as Andrew recently confessed he has “no plans” to play the Marvel superhero again.
The ‘Eyes of Tammy Faye’ star ruled out reprising the role of Peter Parker’s alias but admitted he was aware people might not believe him after he denied that he was making an appearance in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, the final instalment of the latest trilogy starring Tom in the title role.
The 38-year-old actor said: “No plans, that’s the truth. Everyone’s gonna call me a liar for the rest of my life. I’m the boy who cried wolf.”
