OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Richardson spent a “harrowing” seven hours in A and E after being rushed to hospital with a brain infection.
The ‘Dancing on Ice’ contestant and comic, 31, told his fans on Instagram on Friday (01.07.22) he contracted a “lovely” condition that meant he had been left with no memory of a concert he attended with his brother and “loads of amnesia”.
His supermodel girlfriend Sam Rollinson, 27, responded to his post: “You owe me 7 hours at a very expensive spa- to pay for the harrowing 7 hours at A and E.”
Her post prompted him to reply: “Deal.”
Richardson had earlier posted alongside a picture of him at a gig: “My brother and I went to see Green Day in Dublin last week. And I sadly can’t remember it as I’ve had a lovely infection which caused some wonderful affects to my brain and loads of amnesia.
“After a really cool trip to hospital I’m trying to piece it all together again. Hopefully the memories come back but if I owe you money, sorry you’re on your own x.”
Richardson – who featured in 2021’s ‘Dancing on Ice’ after comedian Rufus Hound, 43, pulled out due to contracting Covid – started dating Rollinson in 2015.
They moved in together two years later, with Richardson saying about the model: “Sam is mega-famous, but I’m not in that world so it’s just dead normal really.
“She’s amazing. She’s the best human being I’ve ever met. She’s super-northern and down to earth.”
He also told last year how his ‘Dancing on Ice’ appearance probably saved his career as he was facing tough financial times amid the pandemic.
Richardson, who has hosted ITV2’s ‘The Xtra Factor’ with the late Caroline Flack and Channel 5’s ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’, admitted: “I was looking at a career change or to just leave the industry altogether, because it’s tough times.
“I am of a level where I’m on TV, but I’m not a big, huge name. It’s not like I’ve got stacks of cash lying around. I am currently skint because I’ve not worked a year. ‘Dancing on Ice’ has been a career saver.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Colin Campbell is in talks about returning to ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
The controversial contestant – who dramatically quit the show during the 2015 season – has reportedly been approached about taking part in the upcoming spin-off All-Stars show.
An ITV source told The Sun newspaper: “Lady C was not exactly a fan favourite. She isn’t one to mince her words and certainly got people talking.
“She was divisive and largely disliked by her camp mates but she made fascinating telly.
“Producers are confident they can convince her to take part in the All-Stars series — despite the slightly sour ending to her regular appearance.”
Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Stacey Solomon and Caitlyn Jenner are set to join the upcoming spin-off.
Stacey, who was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2010, and Caitlyn, who competed on the show in 2019, have been approached by show bosses about returning for the special series, which will be filmed in South Africa.
A source said: “It’s still really early days but ‘I’m A Celebrity’ bosses are keen to bring back the most talked-about stars.
“Stacey and Caitlyn were both great value in their years and reckon they’ll be even better viewing a second time.”
Speaking previously about the upcoming All-Stars show, another insider explained: “The team behind ‘I’m A Celebrity’ are making a brand new spin-off of the hit series featuring the most loved, favourite campmates from previous years.
“The campmates will be doing trials and living in the camp environment, but with fresh and exciting new twists, and they will have a hand in their own destiny through a series of internal votes and challenges.
“The new edition is likely to air in 2023 but before that viewers will get to enjoy the show’s much anticipated return to Australia in November.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Holden has banned her daughter from signing up for ‘Love Island’.
The 51-year-old presenter revealed her daughter Lexi, 16, is obsessed with the show and Amanda fears she will want to take part in it when she is older.
Speaking to Jamie Theakston and Ashley Roberts on Heart FM, Amanda explained: “So this is becoming a bit of an obsession with my teenage daughter at home now.
“Which worries me slightly bearing in mind that Michael Owen’s daughter is on it, and I’m like, ‘you ain’t ever going on it, Alexa!'”
When Jamie teased: “Oh please, it would be perfect for this show,” Amanda insisted: ‘Mama said no!'”
Ashley added: “Imagine Lexi up in there! My gosh” but Amanda replied: “I can imagine it and she’s not! Mama said no! She loves me too much, she won’t do it.”
Lexi recently signed to Storm modelling agency after being approached last year but Amanda wants her to concentrate on her education first.
She previously said: “Lexi was approached last year and obviously we were waiting until she was 16 to sign anything. It’s something she actually wants to do, so I’m taking the lead from her.
“She’s a very quiet girl but she knows her own mind. She’s very bright and wants to continue her studies.
“There’s no pressure and we’ll just see what happens. But finishing her education is very much her plan, she’ll have our support whatever she decides to do.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Hancock has credited Georgia Taylor with his ‘Coronation Street’ return.
The 53-year-old star is set to reprise his role as eco-warrior Geoffrey ‘Spider’ Nugent after almost two decades away from the cobbles and says Georgia – who played his love interest Toyah Battersby – is responsible for bringing him back to Weatherfield.
He told Radio Times: “It’s all her fault! Last year Georgia posted a pic of us in our younger days on social media which got a big reaction from the press. It made me nostalgic, and my wife encouraged me to get in touch with ‘Corrie’ about a possible return. What she actually said was, in her own special way: ‘You’re not getting any younger!’ I spoke to my agent who contacted the producer, and we worked it out from there.”
And Martin says ‘Coronation Street’ was great training for him as an actor.
He explained: “Doing a soap or an advert are the two best training grounds for an actor. An advert is two days for 30 seconds, sometimes on a soap it feels like you get 30 seconds prep for two days! Corrie taught me about framing, understanding how a shift in your position can change the composition of a shot.
“There are lots of nuances you have to learn in a soap because it’s so fast. You learn to understand very quickly what people need from a specific shot.
“Georgia always had a good balance of understanding the time constraints of a show like ‘Corrie’, but still being thoughtful about how you’re going to play it and react to things. The cast put their party boots on as they enter the studio, concentration sets in, you get your game face on and you’re ready to rock and roll.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Antigoni Buxton says she had a connection with Davide Sanclimenti.
The ousted ‘Love Island’ contestant – who was dumped from the villa alongside Charlie Radnedge on Friday (01.07.22) – revealed she wishes she had been given the chance to pick Davide in the recoupling.
According to Digital Spy, she said: “I’d have gone for Davide. I knew with Davide, if it did develop, it would have been real, and if it didn’t, we’d have just kept having a laugh together and getting along and whatever. I would have wanted to have got to know Jay [Younger] but not make it so easy for him.”
And Antigoni said she didn’t believe her fellow bombshell Charlie had gotten a fair chance in the villa.
She said: “Maybe it would have been nice for Charlie to get a little bit more of a chance because Jay did have a chance to get to know two people – Ekin-Su [Culculoglu ] and he cut that off and then Paige [Thorne]- so I feel like it’s a shame Charlie didn’t get to explore that a bit more. I think it was difficult for the girls.”
And Charlie admitted he had his eye on Ekin-Su, saying: “I wanted her to recouple with me over the other two single girls, because I saw the other two single girls in a friendship capacity.
“So it’s kind of like comparing a potential romantic relationship versus a friendship and you’re there to find love. I think there was potential there but there was more of a connection with her and Davide.”

The 31-year-old TV star has announced her engagement to Lorri Haines via a post on social media.
Alongside a photo of her sparkling engagement ring and the couple sharing a kiss, Ferne wrote on Instagram: “So happily ever afters do exist. I cannot wait to do forever with you baby. (sic)”
The property developer also shared a similar photo on his own Instagram account.
Lorri, 31, said on the platform: “She said yesssss (sic)”
The loved-up couple went public with their romance seven months ago, and Ferne – who shot to fame on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ – has also admitted that he’s changed the “dynamic” of ‘First Time Mum’, her ITVBe show.
Ferne – who has a four-year-old daughter called Sunday with her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins – said in May: “Filming this series was a completely new experience for me. It was the first time I filmed with a partner in a relationship and that was a completely different dynamic.
“Going from being a single parent and Sunday having to manage that, I think people are going to love that about this series, seeing the dynamic between our family.
“It is hard, it’s not straight forward introducing your child to your new partner and you want it to go right, then obviously there’s cameras following you around.”
Prior to that, Ferne admitted she was eager to fall in love.
However, she also insisted that it wasn’t her number-one priority at the time.
She shared: “It’s definitely something that excites me. I’ve always been a romantic at heart. But sometimes I think, ‘Who am I going to end up with?’
“It just really isn’t up there at the top of my priority list.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelle Bryan gets bombarded with racist abuse after she appears on ‘Loose Women’.
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ actress admitted she is targeted online almost every time she features on the panel of the daytime show, but she refuses to engage with the trolls and has learned to block them and move on.
She said: “You’d be amazed by the opinions people have.
“There is a section of society that is plagued by racism.
“As soon as I see things turn nasty on social media, I just block them.
“I don’t need that negativity in my life.
“I have no time for someone being racist.”
The 47-year-old star admitted producers shield her from the worst of the comments.
She added to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “The digital team don’t show me the racist comments. They do it to protect us. I appreciate it.”
But despite the abuse, Kelle won’t be turning away from social media and she welcomes opinions that differ from her own.
She said: “People have freedom of speech to judge what I say on ‘Loose Women’. They can agree or disagree.
“It can be quite aggressive on social media, but I know that’s what I sign up for by doing the show. I love being challenged on my opinions.”
In October 2020, the former Eternal singer took part in the show’s first all-Black panel and she previously admitted she and co-stars Charlene White, Judi Love and Brenda Edwards were abused afterwards.
She previously said: “There were lots of positive comments [afterwards] but, unbelievably, there was lots of racism, lots of racist comments. Like, ‘I switched off, who do they think they are?’ ‘As soon as I saw them…’ There was still lots of that kind of stuff.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The BBC are hoping to “woo” Holly Willoughby away from ITV.
Bosses at the network are keen to sign up the ‘This Morning’ presenter to front more evening entertainment shows after she “hugely enjoyed” teaming up with Lee Mack on ‘Freeze The Fear With Wim Hof’ and are starting by commissioning a second season of the tough celebrity challenge show.
A source told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: “Bosses at the BBC want Holly to be theirs, it’s as simple as that, and they know she really enjoyed Freeze The Fear. If they can keep her sweet with programmes like that then they hope they can gradually woo her into the right thing.
“With the exception of ‘Strictly’ which is only on for a few months of the year, the Beeb struggle for big entertainment programmes, particularly those hosted by women.
“Holly is popular across generations – she appeals to young and old. To the BBC, she is an absolute gem, they want her and they will spend the money that they have to.
“Holly is very much aware and takes the view that she will go where the programmes are.
“So if the BBC get the shows right, it’s simple – they will get her.”
Meanwhile, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge Craig Revel Horwood recently admitted he’d love to see Holly and her ‘This Morning’ co-host Phillip Schofield take part in the dance contest.
Asked about his dream contestants, he said: “Oh, Phil would be fabulous. Phil and Holly. Absolutely. I’d love to see them on it. They’d be great bookings, wouldn’t they?
“The only thing is the timing because you literally need to have three months off. For people who are on news teams, like Dan Walker, who was still going in at 4am even after training until 10pm, it’s like torture. [‘Good Morning Britain’ presenter Susanna Reid] was the same. But oh my God, she was driven! She was a really good contestant but I don’t know how she did it. Her schedule was insane.”
