Full line-up of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! All Stars’ named

OHMYGOSSIP — The full line-up of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! All Stars’ has been named.
A 15-strong group of famous faces and previous contestants was listed by The Sun on Tuesday night (27.09.22), who have already finished filming the ITV spin-off show in South Africa, set to be shown in 2023.
It comes after ‘I’m A Celebrity’ presenters Ant McPartlin, 46, and Declan Donnelly, 47, revealed they were filming the series, with a show source telling The Sun it would be a “different format” to the original show.
Their insider added: “It’s the best of ‘I’m A Celebrity’, quite literally, but there’s some twists and surprises along the way for viewers and campers so it’s not going to be as straightforward as they might think.”
The line-up is said to be Phil Tufnell, 56, Amir Khan, 35, Paul Burrell, 64, Jordan Banjo, 29, Andrew Whyment, 41, Dean Gaffney, 44, Shaun Ryder, 60, Gillian McKeith, 62, Carol Vorderman, 61, Georgia Toffolo, 27, Helen Flanagan, 32, Janice Dickinson, 67, Myleene Klass, 44, Joe Swash, 40, and Fatima Whitbread, 61.
Each of the names has created iconic moments on the original show or been previously crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.
Former boxer Amir Khan was one of the best paid ‘I’m A Celebrity’ contestants, said to have landed a £400,000 fee for his jungle stint.
He was also remembered by fans for being terrified by bugs and secretly eating strawberries behind the backs of his campmates, causing uproar among his castmates.
Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell had a meltdown when he appeared on the show in 2004 as he battled through the Bushtucker Trials.
Singer Shaun Ryder is coming back for the show despite claiming it was fixed after he lost in 2010 to Stacey Solomon, saying “As far as I am concerned the game was rigged. I really do mean that.”
Gillian McKeith famously fainted while taking part in a Bushtucker Trial before she was given oxygen.
Ex-Hear’Say singer Myleene has been named the sexiest ever contestant on ‘I’m A Celeb’ after she showered in a white bikini on the 2006 series.
Retired javelin thrower Fatima was at the centre of one of the show’s most unforgettable moments in 2011 when a cockroach got lodged in her nose and had to be dislodged by Medic Bob.

Great British Bake Off judge Dame Prue Leith teases double elimination

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Great British Bake Off’ judge Dame Prue Leith has warned a double elimination is coming.
The Channel 4 baking show had a twist during Bread Week on Tuesday night (27.09.22) when no one had to leave the competition after contestants Rebs Lightbody and Abdul Rehman Sharif were forced to miss the show due to illness.
Host Matt Lucas told the bakers: “Well, this week, nobody is going home. The judges felt given the quality here and the fact Rebs and Abdul aren’t here, that everyone deserved the chance to bake again.”
However, Prue later revealed they haven’t given anyone a pass, and they’ll still have to get rid of the same number of contestants.
She said: “They were all thrilled to bits because nobody had to go. They are all friends, they don’t want to see their friends go home, but sooner or later, we have to send two bakers home and that’s not nice.”
Rebs and Abdul missed Bread Week because they were “under the weather”, but some viewers joked they would have “pulled a sickie” if they had to face Prue and her fellow judge Paul Hollywood during a notoriously difficult stage of the competition.
However, Rebs – who has had to deal with some trolling from fans – insisted she was gutted to miss it after feeling very confident about her bakes.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: ‘Will say it once for the people in the back, I DID NOT want to miss bread week (it was probably my strongest week), I was forced to go home for the safety of all in the tent, I just wanted the world to see my Lahmacun pizza and Mexican style smorgastarta! #gbbo.
“No matter what you think of me and my bakes pls know I didn’t pull a ‘sickie’, I begged to stay and then I cried all the way back to Northern Ireland.”

Elizabeth Banks wishes Charlie’s Angels hadn’t been marketed as ‘feminist manifesto’

OHMYGOSSIP — Elizabeth Banks regrets the way ‘Charlie’s Angels’ was marketed.
The 48-year-old actress – who directed and appeared alongside leading trio Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska in the 2019 reboot – has reflected on the movie’s poor performance at the box office, and the way it was presented to potential customers.
Speaking to the New York Times newspaper, she said: “It was very stressful, partly because when women do things in Hollywood it becomes this story.
“There was a story around ‘Charlie’s Angels’ that I was creating some feminist manifesto. I was just making an action movie.
“[I] would’ve liked to have made ‘Mission: Impossible,’ but women aren’t directing ‘Mission: Impossible.’ ”
Banks – who has also directed the likes of ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ and upcoming thriller ‘Cocaine Bear’ – explained she wanted to make a different movie but was restrained by the representation of women in Hollywood.
She added: “I was able to direct an action movie, frankly, because it starred women and I’m a female director, and that is the confine right now in Hollywood.
“I wish that the movie had not been presented as just for girls, because I didn’t make it just for girls.
“There was a disconnect on the marketing side of it for me.”
‘Charlie’s Angels’ first started as a TV series in the 1970s before jumping to the big screen in 2000 with a sequel ‘Full Throttle’ released three years later.
Now, Banks feels like she is in a “rarefied category” by being a female filmmaker, but she can’t assess whether the industry is becoming more accepting.
She said: “I’m putting my head down and showing these big corporations that if they give women the opportunity to do this job, they can make a good product that can make them a profit.
“It’s a male-dominated industry. It’s a male-dominated world. That’s what I’m up against, but I can’t solve it, and I don’t really want to analyse it.”

Hugh Jackman to reprise Wolverine role in Deadpool 3

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine in ‘Deadpool 3’.
Ryan Reynolds, who plays the titular superhero in the film franchise, has confirmed the 53-year-old star will be in the upcoming movie, which has an official release date of September 6th, 2024.
Speaking in a Twitter video, Reynolds said: “Hey everyone, we’re extremely sad to have missed D23 [Expo], but we’ve been working very hard on the next ‘Deadpool’ film for a good long while now.
“I’ve had to really search my soul on this one. His first appearance in the MCU obviously needs to feel special. We need to stay true to the character, find new depth, motivation, meaning.
“Every ‘Deadpool’ needs to stand out and stand apart. It’s been an incredible challenge that has forced me to reach down deep inside. And I … I have nothing. Yeah, just completely empty up here. And terrifying. But we did have one idea.”
Jackman then walked through the room in the background of the video, and Reynolds asked: “Hey, Hugh, you want to play Wolverine one more time?”
He replied: “Yeah, sure, Ryan.”
The video plays out with Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ track, which was subtitled: “I will always love Hugh.”
The film’s official release date, September 6th, 2024, then flashed up on screen.
Jackman previously admitted his close pal Reynolds had been trying to convince him to reprise the role of Wolverine for a crossover with ‘Deadpool’ – but he had yet to be swayed then.
Speaking in 2018, he said: “If [Ryan] has his way, it’s literally every day. I answer every fourth day because it would be embarrassing if I never answered him.”

Alex Scott was ‘deeply in love’ with fellow England star

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Scott has told how she was “madly and deeply in love” with fellow former England footballer Kelly Smith.
The ‘Football Focus’ presenter has written about the romance in her new memoir, ‘How (Not) To Be Strong’, but admitted she was initially unsure about whether to pen a chapter about the relationship.
She said: “I went back and forth on whether I’d actually be writing the chapter.
“But then it was one of those moments, I’m writing this book and I want to tell everything.”
Alex later realised she would be “cheating” her fans if she didn’t include it in her book, insisting it “needed to be in there”.
She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I thought I’d be cheating you all if I didn’t put that in there. And for me, it’s like that first love story, I fell madly and deeply in love. And yes, there’s that heartbreak and those things, but it’s a huge part of my life and I wouldn’t go back and change that.
“Because that feeling of love and that excitement and what it gives you, it needed to be in there.”
Alex and Kelly – who now has two children with her wife, management consultant DeAnna Dobosz – both signed for Arsenal in 2005.
They went on to both join US team the Boston Breakers in 2009, before they re-joined the Arsenal team in 2012.
Alex recently admitted she has been “single for a while now”.
She told The Times newspaper: “I’ve been single for a while now, and I think that’s because I needed to be.
“There were patterns in my relationships that I knew were not healthy.
“I understand myself more now. Before I always had these walls up because I was trying to protect myself and protect people around me.
“Now I’m ready to let them all down. I’m ready to be loved.”

Michelle Hardwick ramps up security after death threats

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Hardwick has ramped up her security after receiving death threats.
The ‘Emmerdale’ actress – who plays Vanessa Woodfield in the ITV soap – took to her Instagram Stories to praise a local security solutions firm for doing a “fabulous job”.
She wrote: “Just wanted to say what fantastic service we have had from the very first phone call to the end result.
“Anyone local to the Leeds/Wakefield area who needs security solutions then look no further than @msc.security.solutions.
“(This was a fully paid for job, not a paid ad. I just wanted to post because they were fabulous.”
This comes after Michelle – who lives with her wife, ‘Emmerdale’ producer Kate Brooks, and their two-year-old son Teddy – revealed in May she has called the police at times after receiving death threats.
The star – who is expecting the couple’s second child – said at the time: “We’ve had a bit of trolling over the last few years. And there have been certain times when police have had to be called because there have been death threats.
“When they’re mentioning your son’s name and you’re just going ‘Really? I’m just in a soap you know – we’re not doing any harm to anybody.’ ”
Kate admitted the couple have seen a “real dark side” to social media.
She said: “The majority of people are really wonderful and supportive, but, you know, as great as social media can be, there is this real dark side to it as well.”
The couple revealed in July that they are expecting their second child together.
Michelle shared an adorable snap of Teddy with the news on a screen behind him reading: “Coming this winter… baby Brooks #2.”
She captioned the Instagram post: “We are super excited about our gorgeous news! I’m 20 weeks today and can almost rest a cup of tea on my bump #bigbrother.”

Matthew Broderick starring in No Hard Feelings

OHMYGOSSIP — Matthew Broderick has joined the cast of ‘No Hard Feelings’.
The 60-year-old star will feature alongside Jennifer Lawrence, Laura Benanti and Andrew Barth Feldman in Sony’s comedy.
In the film, Jennifer plays a ne’er-do-well character who is hired by a wealthy couple to socialise with their introverted son. Feldman stars as the kid, with Matthew and Laura playing the rich parents.
Gene Stupnitsky is directing from a script he wrote with John Phillips. The movie is set for release in June 2023 and will be produced by Alex Saks, Marc Provissiero, Naomi Odenkirk, Justine Ciarrochi and Lawrence.
The story is set in New York’s Montauk and is described as having tones of the Tom Cruise flick ‘Risky Business’ and ‘Bad Teacher’ – the raunchy 2011 comedy that featured Cameron Diaz as a foul-mouthed tutor.
Matthew starred in the lead role in the 1986 teen comedy film ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ but confessed that he was initially hesitant to take on the part as the character regularly broke the fourth wall during the movie.
He recalled: “I thought [the script] was great, and I had a teeny hesitation because having just done [the plays] ‘Brighton Beach [Memoirs]’ and ‘Biloxi [Blues],’ I was like, ‘Wow, I’m talking to the audience, just like in these plays… and even in [the 1985 movie] ‘Ladyhawke’ he talks to the camera a bit. … You know, when you’re young or starting out you think, ‘I have to do something different.'”
Matthew was eventually persuaded to take the part in the film by friends, family and his agent because John Hughes was directing.
He said: “My memory is, before I had hung up the phone, [my agent] was like behind me in the room, saying, ‘Yes, you should do it’. He flew to New York. ‘I’ll see you tomorrow. Let’s just not talk about it anymore now, I’ll see you tomorrow’, and he came and was suddenly in the room with me, saying, ‘Yeah, I do think you should do it.'”

Bassam Tariq will no longer direct Blade

OHMYGOSSIP — Bassam Tariq will no longer direct ‘Blade’.
The 35-year-old filmmaker has dropped out as helmer of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie due to changes to the “production schedule”, although he will remain involved in the project as an executive producer.
Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali is set to play the title role in the flick, which is slated for release in November 2023, with Delroy Lindo and Aaron Pierre also featuring in the cast.
Marvel said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter: “Due to continued shifts in our production schedule, Bassam is no longer moving forward as director of ‘Blade’ but will remain an executive producer on the film.
“We appreciate Bassam’s talent and all the work he’s done getting ‘Blade’ to where it is.”
In his own statement, Bassam said: “It’s been an honour working with the wonderful folks at Marvel. We were able to put together a killer cast and crew. Eager to see where the next director takes the film.”
‘Blade’ has been one of Marvel’s most anticipated films since it was first announced back in 2019 but has been subject to a number of delays with insiders saying that various script rewrites have taken place.
Ali takes over the human-vampire hybrid character from Wesley Snipes, who starred in a trilogy of movies between 1998 and 2004, and was thrilled to receive praise from his predecessor.
The 48-year-old actor said: “Man, you know, [I’m] humbled and so encouraged by that.
“Because he didn’t have to say that. Wasn’t nobody really asking him like that.
“So for him to come out and say that, somebody I look up to so much, I sincerely appreciated that. So thank you, brother.”

“No date, no venue and still wanting to get married this year. I wish I was an organised person. (sic)”
Rebecca also appeared on ‘Lorraine’ in the same month, and admitted the pair needed to try to plan their nuptials all over again.
She said: “We were supposed to get married two years ago, but COVID hit, so we’re back to square one now really – looking for a venue because we couldn’t change the date.
“I’m hoping – we’re hoping to still get married this year, but we haven’t planned anything so I need to see how it goes and get on it really.”

Love Island’s Mollie Salmon and George Tasker are now step-siblings

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ stars Mollie Salmon and George Tasker have become step-siblings.
The pair – who entered the latest series of the ITV2 dating show during the Casa Amor segment – have become a part of each other’s families after his mum married Mollie’s dad.
After posting a photo of his mother wearing a wedding dress and a flower crown before the St Ives ceremony last month, the 23-year-old labourer clarified the details of the reality television union, while responding to fan questions about who the couple in the photo with him and the 23-year-old makeup artist were.
George told his followers: “So basically, absolute madness, my mum has married Mollie’s dad.
“So now we are stepbrother and stepsister, which is mad.”
He revealed their parents met on the ITV2 dating show’s reunion just a month ago, and they “got engaged” after falling head over heels for each other.
He said: “They met at the reunion about a month ago and since then got engaged and got married.”
While the stars were appearing on the show together, they both got the chance to rip up the relationship between the eventual winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti, who took home the £50,000 grand prize after winning the public vote.
Last week, the 28-year-old actress detailed how much she “trusted” the 27-year-old entrepreneur despite how busy they have been since cinching victory.
Ekin-Su said: “Do you know what, we’re both just so proud of each other and really enjoying the time we can spend together.
“I trust him, he’s my man, and we’re adapting really well to life outside of the villa. When we’re not together we’re talking all the time anyway!”

Ana de Armas defends Blonde nude scenes

OHMYGOSSIP — Ana de Armas has defended the nude scenes in ‘Blonde’.
The 34-year-old actress flashes the flesh in her portrayal of Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe in Andrew Dominik’s film and suggested viewers will find it more uncomfortable than she did.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Ana said: “It’s harder for people to watch (those scenes) than for me to make them, because I understood what I was doing and I felt very protected and safe.
“I didn’t feel exploited because I was in control. I made that decision. I knew the movie I was doing. I trusted my director. I felt like I was in a safe environment.”
She added: “We had hundreds of conversations about these scenes. Everyone felt a deep respect for the movie we were making. And in that sense, I had no fear. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all, even though they were really hard scenes.”
The ‘No Time To Die’ actress was full of praise for the intimacy coordinators on set and claimed that shooting sexual scenes felt no different from the rest of the movie.
Ana explained: “We had an intimacy coordinator with us all the time, and she was very helpful.
“But I wouldn’t even say these scenes were more difficult than any other scene. It was just a part of a whole story. I knew exactly what the shot was going to be. I knew exactly what the shot was going to be. I knew exactly what was going to be seen, what was not going to be seen, and it felt like it was the right thing to do.”
Ana had recently expressed disappointment that intimate scenes from the movie are likely to be posted online and be taken out of context.
She said: “I know what’s going to go viral, and it’s disgusting. It’s upsetting just to think about it. I can’t control it; you can’t really control what they do and how they take things out of context.”

I could bring glamour to British politics, says Gemma Collins

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins thinks she could bring some “glamour” to British politics.
The 41-year-old TV star has joined forces with Channel 4 to promote the broadcaster’s new reality show, ‘Make Me Prime Minister’, and Gemma has revealed what she could bring to the top job in British politics.
The outspoken star – who first found fame on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ – said: “I would add glamour to the Houses of Parliament.”
Gemma also joked joked that Prime Minister Liz Truss is facing some competition for her job.
She quipped: “GC for PM! Liz Truss, honey, move out of the way!”
The promotional video also features appearances from former England goalkeeper David James and ‘Drag Race’ star Lawrence Chaney, who suggested replacing tap water with Irn Bru.
The new show gives Brits a chance to share their own policy ideas, and it’s set to air on Channel 4 on Tuesday (27.09.22).
However, Alastair Campbell – the former director of communications and strategy for Tony Blair’s Labour government – insists that being prime minister is much harder than it looks.
He also observed that a number of the contestants have been guilty of underestimating the challenge.
He said: “The contestants in ‘Make Me Prime Minister’ are not the only ones who think politics is in a mess and that they could do the job better than Boris Johnson or Liz Truss. But I think they learned that the job is a lot harder than it looks.
“Some of them without doubt have real political talent and I hope they go into politics. They will also be pleased by the poll findings that people want our PM to have integrity, and be trustworthy and honest. So should we all.”

Harry Redknapp thought ‘sinister things’ amid wife’s COVID battle

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Redknapp started to think “sinister things” amid his wife’s battle with COVID-19.
The 75-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur manager has been married to his wife Sandra since 1967, and he’s admitted to being really worried at the height of her health struggle.
Harry – who starred on ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ in 2018 – said: “The symptoms weren’t good, if I’m truthful. You start to think about all kinds of sinister things. It’s been a real worry.
“Sandra has suffered. Her voice had packed up and she was struggling for breath. Even swallowing food became difficult. She could choke on food easily if we weren’t careful.”
Sandra was hit by COVID in January after a New Year’s Eve visit to a restaurant, and the virus left her with “paralysed” vocal chords.
She told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “I think COVID attacked previous surgery that I’d had on my neck.
“You don’t realise what your vocal cords do until they’re not working, because it affects breathing as well as talking. The shortness of breath was very difficult. My voice would vibrate and was very weak.
“I had lots of tests. I had one lot of surgery in May, which was fine for a while. Then we went on holiday and came back and it went again, so I had to have a second one. I couldn’t talk for three days afterwards so our granddaughter Molly got a notepad and I had to write down messages.”
Despite this, Sandra thinks she’s now “on the mend”.
She said: “I was struggling with it for six or seven months. Even now if I’m talking a lot my voice starts to get a bit sore. But, fingers crossed, I’m on the mend.”

Melinda Messenger ‘signs up for Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’

OHMYGOSSIP — Melinda Messenger has reportedly signed up for the next series of ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’.
The 51-year-old star – who shot to fame in the 90s – is poised to return to the spotlight in the new series of the Channel 4 show.
Melinda seemed to have turned her back on the entertainment industry when she turned her focus towards working as a transpersonal psychotherapist.
But she’s now set to appear on the star-studded adventure show, according to The Sun newspaper.
Melinda – who also worked as a Page Three girl, before she moved into the TV industry – will be pushed to her physical and mental limits by Rudy Reyes, who replaced Ant Middleton as the face of the show in 2021.
Meanwhile, Melinda previously admitted that her son is “horrified” about her glamour model past.
The TV star – who has Morgan, 22, Flynn, 20, and Evie, 18, with ex-husband Wayne Roberts – revealed she won’t share “throwback” images on her social media accounts because she doesn’t want to embarrass her kids.
She said: “I definitely put my children’s feelings above my desire for likes and approval on social media, which is one reason I don’t post throwback images from my Page Three days.
“My son Flynn recently told me he was horrified by it.
“He said he’d found it hard when he was younger when other people said, ‘Your mum’s sexy’ or ‘I’ve seen your mum’s boobs’ or when his friends’ dads said things about his mum.
“I totally got it. He asked why I hadn’t thought about them. I told him I was in my 20s and he didn’t exist! He understood.
“Children are different. My eldest son, Morgan, doesn’t have an issue with my former career.
“That said, I always check with my kids before I post anything that might be contentious on social media.”

Chris Packham launches a poo-themed calendar

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Packham is launching a poo-themed calendar.
The 61-year-old wildlife presenter is preparing to release his 2023 ‘Full Of S*** Calendar’, which is filled with photographs of animal dung.
Chris said in a Twitter video: “There is so much s*** around these days you mustn’t lose sight of the real deal – the soft brown squelchy stuff on the sole of your shoe.
“It’s packed full of interesting aromas and masses of important stuff that cutting-edge science needs to better understand and conserve so many species.
“It’s superbly ironic that so many species ‘in the s***’ are finding a way out of it through what exits their anus.
“I love that, because I love all life – everything that creeps, crawls, slithers, slimes and stings – and everything that comes out of its a***.'”
The calendar features photos of excrement from a host of different animals, including pigs and badgers.
An advertising blurb for the calendar reads: “Chris Packham brings you the seasons crappest calendar, constipated with his s*** pictures and all you need to know about the world’s most fascinating faeces.
“But aside from the piles of poo there is a wealth of sensational new science which throws the spotlight on s*** when it comes to the wonders of nature..
“It’s a fun, funny, pun-packed, obscenely interesting publication suitable for all the family.”
Meanwhile, Chris has become a frontman for the Extinction Rebellion campaign group over recent years.
But the wildlife presenter previously insisted he doesn’t agree with everything that the environmental movement has done.
He said: “A lot of the – necessary – campaigning that we were doing was highlighting problems, rather than offering solutions.
“The Self-Isolating Bird Club felt good because it was a solution to a problem for a lot of people. We could stop shouting at people, put our placards away for a bit.”
