Elaine Hendrix does not want a reboot of The Parent Trap

OHMYGOSSIP — Elaine Hendrix does not want a reboot of ‘The Parent Trap’
The 51-year-old actress played gold digger Meredith Blake in the 1998 Disney comedy – which starred Lindsay Lohan as long-lost twins Hallie James and Annie Parker – and explained that because her version was a remake of the 1961 classic with Hayley Mills, she thinks it should be “left alone” but would hope to be involved any potential reboot.
Speaking alongside co-star Lisa Ann Walters – who played housekeeper Chessy – she told ExtraTV: “We were already a reboot and so I’m biased in that I think it should be left alone, but if it’s going to be rebooted, then yeah, I think we absolutely should be a part of it.”
The ‘Dynasty’ actress previously explained that she “loves” how has made more than 150 appearances on TV and film but is best known for her role as Meredith and thinks that it is really “special” that the movie – which also starred Dennis Quaid and the late Natasha Richardson as a set of divorced parents who keep the twins a secret from one another – has “spanned generations.”
She said: “I love that people love Meredith Blake and love ‘The Parent Trap’ still. I’ve done over 150 individual TV and film productions and it’s still by far one of my most favorites and certainly one of the ones I’m most recognized for. It has spanned generations. It spans classes, it spans genders, race, everything, and this movie just seems to be beloved by everyone. And that, to me, is really really special.”

Michael B. Jordan: Directing Creed III is the most challenging thing I’ve ever done

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael B. Jordan says directing ‘Creed III’ has been the most “challenging” test of his career so far.
The 35-year-old actor has appeared in almost 20 films since making his motion picture debut as a teenager more than 20 years ago but has now stepped behind the camera for the boxing sequel – which is a spin-off of the ‘Rocky’ boxing franchise created by Sylvester Stallone – and was “pushing his limits” throughout the process even though he had a “clear vision” for what he wanted on screen.
Jordan – who stars as heavyweight champion boxer Adonis Creed in the franchise – said: “My experience being on set, since I was a kid, is having a shorthand with a lot of the crew that have been around throughout my movie career. And I had a clear vision for the story that I wanted to tell, because I’ve been marinating on it and developing it for such a long time. It was the most challenging thing that I’ve ever done, by far.
“Daily, I was pushing myself to new limits, learning how to communicate and get what’s in your head out, and have other people pick up on that passion and enthusiasm, so that they want to execute your vision to the best of their ability. That’s not an easy task to do. It just felt that everything was lining up perfectly for this opportunity for me.”
Jordan admits both directing and starring in a movie can be “torture” but the final film is totally worth all the hard work.
He told Collider: “It’s torture, but at the same time, it’s so much fun. It was the challenge of accomplishing it all, with the multitasking nature of developing the story, trying to stay in shape, and giving all the departments what they individually needed, to go do their job. And then, there was my process, as well. It’s really hard to put into words. Every day was a struggle, but honestly, it was the team of people that I had around me that got me through it. You’ve really gotta surround yourself with the right help, so that you can focus on the things you need to focus on. Sometimes that’s doing two things at one time, or three things at one time. It’s just part of the job. Once you step behind the camera, the undertaking that it is, from the outside looking in, it’s tough.”
‘Creed III’ is set for release on March 3 2023.

Judi Love almost quit Twitter because of racist trolls

OHMYGOSSIP — Judi Love nearly quit Twitter after being targeted by racist trolls.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist has revealed that she came close to shutting down her account on the social media platform for good before deciding that she didn’t want to give into the abusers.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Judi said: “The other day I was going to close down my Twitter account as I feel like Twitter can be harsh.
“I did an all black panel of ‘Loose Women’ and I had racist tweets. People were like, ‘Why are they all black?’ But it was just how the rota went.
“We came and the show was great. There are times when I can’t be a**** with Twitter and there are times when I’m like, ‘No, I’m not going to let them win.’
Judi, 42, is supporting Get Online Week and wants to encourage people to use the internet for good rather than paying attention to its darker aspects by helping singletons find love online.
However, the star admits that she finds dating hard as she is in the limelight.
Judi said: “I have been on awkward dates.
“This was before ‘Loose Women’ but now I think if anyone is in the public eye it is very challenging as you are so busy and we don’t have normal hours.
“Look, I can’t even tell people what I am doing in two weeks. Anything can change.
“One week you can be really busy and then the next you’re completely free and want to see them all the time.
“It’s a balance and people in the public eye worry about how vulnerable you can be. They worry about being exposed and their privacy.”

Craig Revel Horwood calls Motsi Mabuse a ‘diva’

OHMYGOSSIP — Craig Revel Horwood says Motsi Mabuse is a “diva”.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge revealed that his colleague requires a team to help her get ready for the hit BBC dance show whereas he is very low-maintenance by comparison as he complete his beauty regime independently.
Craig told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “Motsi’s got six people in her dressing room doing the make-up, the lipstick, the eyes, the false eyelashes, her hair, her dress. She’s a diva.
“Whereas I have no one. I do my own. I do my own hair and make-up.”
Craig revealed that former judge Bruno Tonioli regrets not leaving the show with more “fanfare” as he was replaced by Anton Du Beke after being unable to juggle ‘Strictly’ and US counterpart ‘Dancing With The Stars’ due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
The 57-year-old star, who appeared on ‘Strictly’ since the show started in 2004, said: “Bruno just wished he had more of a fanfare because it sort of just dwindled out, which is a shame because of Covid.”
Craig maintained that Bruno is not missing the show as he is comfortable with life in Los Angeles.
He said: “Bruno is very happy just to live his life in LA, he loves it.
“He’s got a massive set of friends in America, he has a beautiful swimming pool, a beautiful house, he’s quite at home there and doesn’t miss us at all.
“He’s a dear friend of mine. We’ve been working together for the last 25 years. We’re great mates.”
Craig also joked that he would be “shot” if he appeared on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ as his harsh critiques would not go down well with American audiences.
He said: “I could never work on the US show though, I’d get shot if I went on with my comments. I wouldn’t last in the street there.”

Pierce Brosnan: The outtakes from Mrs Doubtfire were ridiculous!

OHMYGOSSIP — Pierce Brosnan says the outtakes from ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ were “ridiculous”.
The 69-year-old actor played Stu in the 1993 comedy which starred the late Robin Williams as a divorced man who impersonates an elderly female nanny in order to spend time with his kids, and the former James Bond star has spilled that the children had to be sent off-set while Robin in character improvised a string of rude insults towards Stu, the new partner of his ex-wife Miranda (Sally Field) in the famous dinner scene.
Brosnan said: “The outtakes were ridiculous. Robin was there dressed as Mrs. Doubtfire and they sent the children away during that particular sequence and Sally as well and it was just Stu, my character Stu, and Robin. And he was talking about Sally’s character in the bedroom and what she liked to wear in the bedroom etcetera, etcetera, all out of the box. It got worse and worse! It wasn’t that crude, though, it was just his delivery. It was so magnificent!”
The ‘Die Another Day’ star is now taking on the role of Doctor Fate in new DC Comics superhero movie ‘Black Adam’ alongside Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the title role and explained that the first comic book character he looked up to was Batman and would even dress up as the Gotham City saviour as a child.
He told website HeyUGuys: “Batman was for me the first. I don’t know if it was a TV show. I grew up in Southern Ireland so we didn’t have a TV but Batman was definitely high on the list. I used to put my raincoat around my neck and jump from the bicycle shed.”
‘Black Adam’ is in cinemas now.

Angelina Jolie to play opera singer Maria Callas in biopic

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie will play opera singer Maria Callas in a new biopic.
The 47-year-old actress will take on the role of the American-born Greek soprano in the film ‘Maria’, which is being helmed by ‘Spencer’ director Pablo Larrain.
The movie will be based on true accounts and is to tell the tumultuous, beautiful and tragic story of the renowned opera singer, re-imagined during her final days in 1970s Paris.
Oscar-nominee Steven Knight has written the film and Pablo’s brother Juan de Dios Larrain is producing the biopic for Fabula Pictures.
The 46-year-old filmmaker said: “Having the chance to combine my two most deep and personal passions, cinema and opera, has been a long-awaited dream.
“To do this with Angelina, a supremely brave and curious artist, is a fascinating opportunity. A true gift.”
Jolie added: “I take very seriously the responsibility to Maria’s life and legacy. I will give all I can to meet the challenge.
“Pablo Larrain is a director I have long admired. To be allowed the chance to tell more of Maria’s story with him, and with a script by Steven Knight, is a dream.”
Callas was born in Manhattan and received her opera training in Greece when she was a teenager. Throughout her career, she dealt with near-sightedness that almost blinded her and was at the centre of scandals in both her personal and professional life.
The star had an intense rivalry with the Italian opera singer Renata Tabaldi and had an affair with shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis – who later left her for Jacqueline Kennedy (coincidentally the subject of Larrain’s 2016 film ‘Jackie’, which starred Natalie Portman in the lead role).
She died of a heart attack aged 53 in 1977 after spending her final years living in isolation in Paris.

Joe McElderry: X Factor revival needs to be less cruel

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe McElderry says ‘The X Factor’ must be less “cruel” when it returns to TV.
Simon Cowell is planning to bring back the show back in 2023 but Joe – who won the singing competition back in 2009 – thinks that the judges should no longer be mean to contestants on the revamped series.
He told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “I think ‘X Factor’ was brilliant when I did the show but then it just became too cruel with the six-chair challenge.
“At what point do you stop being cruel for entertainment?”
Joe explained that viewers want to see more kindly television in the wake of the pandemic and called those auditioning to be protected.
The 31-year-old star said: “I think the entertainment industry has changed post-Covid too. I don’t think people want to watch people being horrible to people for entertainment value or for ratings.
“They don’t want to see people upset or devastated, so I think if it does come back it would need a major revamp.”
It was reported earlier this month that ‘The X Factor’ was at the centre of a bidding war between ITV and Channel 5 as bosses at the former want to get the programme back.
A source said: “After Simon Cowell decided to bring ‘X Factor’ back, he reached advanced talks with Channel 5.
“But now ITV execs have made it very clear they want the show.
“They’re trying to convince Simon to ditch Channel 5 and go with them instead.”
The show is expected to return in 2023, with production staff already on board and auditions expected to take place in the next few months.

Kym Marsh has been rehearsing for Strictly Come Dancing at the train station

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh has been rehearsing for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ at the train station.
The 46-year-old star is currently competing on the hit BBC programme and revealed that she has been cramming in practice in front of commuters as she is also busy with her ‘Waterloo Road’ and ‘Morning Live’ commitments.
Kym, who is partnered with Graziano Di Prima on the show, is quoted by the Daily Star Sunday newspaper as saying: “We’ve had to resort to practising in random places.
“We were waiting for the train yesterday and we started dancing there in the waiting room. People must have thought we were crazy.”
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress added: “It’s hard. There are some days where it becomes impossible, my schedule for ‘Waterloo Road’ for instance becomes too manic – we lost Tuesday this week as I was in every scene. ‘Waterloo Road’ did kindly offer a space for us to practice if I get a gap in the day. The problem with that is I get so sweaty.
“You’re hair just goes, your make-up is ruined and I’d have to have another make-up call, which is a whole hour.”
Kym narrowly avoided elimination last weekend after the judges opted to save her in the dance-off against Matt Goss and is grateful to have the support of her family as she competes on the show.
She said: “It can be easy to get into a place where it consumes you.
“But then my dad messages and says, ‘Do it for me’. Or my 11-year-old texts saying, ‘Good luck Mum. I love you’.
“Those are the things that really matter to me. Those are the things that really push me forward.”

Jayde Adams fourth celebrity voted off ‘Strictly Come Dancing’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jayde Adams has become the fourth celebrity to be voted off ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The comic, 37, exited on Sunday’s (23.10.22) results show after being beaten by CBBC’s Molly Rainford, 21, in a dance off.
Paying tribute to her dance partner Karen Hauer, she said about her time on the series: “This has been the best thing I have ever done in my life and I will carry it to my grave, and it has been an absolute pleasure working with you (Karen) and learning about so much that will go into my own stuff, in my own work.
“You are one of the most gifted people I have ever worked with Karen. And everyone on this show, said it to me, when I had you, they said, ‘You’ve got the best one’, sorry everyone, and I did and you are fantastic and this has been such an honour.
“Not only have I got to be on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ but I got to have Karen Hauer, you are amazing, thank you for everything!
“I’ve done shows before, and nothing holds a candle to the way that this show is run. It is an incredible thing to be a part of as a performer, we are so looked after, and in this industry where so many people aren’t looked after, this show is incredible, well done everyone.”
Karen, 40, said: “It’s been a roller-coaster of emotions for us, and you are so special, so powerful, so emotional, and I’ve loved every second. Thank you Jayde.”
The dance off saw Jayde and Karen perform the Charleston to ‘The Ballad of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It), while Molly and her pro partner Carlos Gu performed to the Grange Hill Theme Tune.
Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Molly and Carlos, saying: “Well, two very different dances but based on technical ability alone I would like to save Molly and Carlos.”
His fellow judge Motsi Mabuse chose to save the same pair, saying: “Well I thought you were both brilliant, I thought that both performances were better than Saturday night but I am going to save Molly and Carlos.”
Anton DuBeke also went for Molly and Carlos, while head judge Shirley Ballas said: “Well both were absolutely superb in the dance off but, on a little bit more precision and quality of movement, I would have saved Molly and Carlos.”
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ returns to BBC One on Saturday 29 October at 6.50pm for its Halloween Special.

The Chase star Shaun Wallace turns down reality TV projects for the sake of his law career

OHMYGOSSIP — Shaun Wallace has ruled out reality TV shows for the sake of his law career.
‘The Chase’ star – who appears on the hit quiz show as well as working as a practising barrister – has turned down offers for various shows, and while he was happy to appear on ‘Don’t Rock The Boat’, he’s selective about the style of programmes he’ll appear on.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “I do get the offers but I’m not a reality type of guy. I still practise as a barrister and there is a limit to what I will do.
“The last reality-type challenge I did was ‘Don’t Rock The Boat’, and that was a physical challenge where myself and seven other celebs rowed the length of Britain.
“I’ll do something like that but any other type of reality show is not really for me.”
While fans aren’t likely to ever see the 62-year-old star – whose nickname is the Dark Destroyer – on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ or ‘I’m A Celebrity’, he did admit he’d have done ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ earlier on in his career.
He added: “If ‘Celebrity SAS’ asked me five years ago I probably would have done it but not with my knees now.”
While Shaun prioritises his legal career, he knows people will always recognise him from his TV appearances.
He explained: “One thing I don’t do is take for granted being on ‘The Chase’ but I’m a barrister first and foremost.
“Yes, people recognise who I am – I can’t help that fact – but I can’t use my fame to get a required result. I can’t change the evidence.
“I’ve been a barrister for 38 years, a Chaser for 13 years.”
Meanwhile, following the success of the ‘Beat The Chasers’ spin-off at the National TV Awards last week, Shaun isn’t ruling out the possibility of more twists on the format.
He teased: “Who knows what those brilliant minds that come up with the creatives for our show think?”

Will Mellor struggles taking harsh feedback from ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judges

OHMYGOSSIP — Will Mellor struggles taking harsh feedback from the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judges.
The 46-year-old actor said the panellists’ latest round of feedback felt like a “kick in the teeth” after Craig Revel Horwood picked apart his routine on Saturday night’s show (15.10.22) for lacking enough leg and hip moves.
Telling Mail Online on Wednesday (19.10.22) he was “disappointed” by the judges’ comments after he danced the rumba with professional partner Nancy Xu, 31, to Ed Sheeran track, ‘The Joker and the Queen’, he said: “I find being criticised by the judges hard. I find being criticised hard as a person.
“Some people can let it go over them, but I find it hard to hide my emotions. You know how I’m feeling, and I can’t help that.
“I was disappointed by the judges’ comments because I really tried my best but we are there to be judged so I have to take the rough with the smooth.
“I got some good comments in week one and two and then I found myself second to the bottom of the leader board and it wasn’t easy to take, especially because I wasn’t feeling well and I was feeling sorry for myself.
“When you get it right it is the best feeling in the world because all your emotion comes out, your nerves, it’s a sense of achievement when you finish and do it well.
“Also, if you do it and put all that effort in and get negative comments it can be a bit of a kick in the teeth but that’s part of it and I have got to get used to it.”
Will added he was too “frightened” in the past to sign up to the BBC’s Strictly as he was “wary” of the impact being on the show would have on the two children, Jayden, 18, and Renée, 14, he shares with his dancer wife Michelle.
But he says the loss of his father to cancer in 2020 has made him want to seize life.
The ‘Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps’ actor added: “Since my dad passed away, my mindset changed and I thought life – you’ve got to grab it and I don’t want to waste time doing things I’m not passionate about.
“When Strictly came along that’s why I said yes because I was a bit frightened about it but that’s when you test yourself and you’ve got to grab life and that’s what I want to do from now on.”

Black Adam producer ‘fighting’ for crossover with Henry Cavill’s Superman

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘Black Adam’ team are “fighting” for a film with Henry Cavill’s Superman.
Producer Hiram Garcia has addressed the future of Cavill’s Man of Steel and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Black Adam in the DC Extended Universe, with the former having disguised cameos in 2019’s Shazam!’ and the ‘Peacemaker’ series, as well as an appearance at the end of the new blockbuster.
Speaking to CineamBlend, Garcia explained: “He wanted to come back, we wanted him to come back, and we wanted to make sure that we were able to establish that [his] character exists in the same universe as Black Adam.
“We have large ambitions for things we’d like to do, however all of these items are still in the works so I am unable to provide exact updates. But just know that we are fighting for it.”
When it comes to the future, Garcia noted the team’s stance on bringing the two superheroes together.
He added: “It’s never been about a one off or just about a fight. No, it’s about so much more than that.
“We really want to craft a long-form of storytelling and show that these two characters exist in the same universe and are going to have to deal with each other often, either on the same or opposite sides.
“Hopefully they’re going to clash at some point, but it’s not just about a ‘one fight’ situation.
“That was never our dream. That does not reward the fans. Fans want to feel a journey between these guys knowing that these guys exist in the same universe.”
His comments come amid reports a ‘Man of Steel’ sequel is in development, being produced by DCEU man Charles Roven, who also worked on Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dark Knight’ trilogy.

Austin Butler constantly listened to nine Elvis songs in preparation for playing the King

OHMYGOSSIP — Austin Butler constantly listened to nine Elvis songs in preparation for playing the King.
The 31-year-old actor, who portrayed the singer in director Baz Luhrmann’s ‘Elvis’ biopic, said it was part of his plan to be “incredibly meticulous”.
He added to NME: “I wanted every gesture and everywhere that his eyes go and the way that he moves his entire body to feel as truthful and identical to him as possible but it’s got to feel as though it’s happening for the first time.”
His top nine Elvis songs to get him in the right frame of mind for shooting included ‘(There’ll Be) Peace in the Valley (For Me)’.
Austin said about the track: “Throughout his career, Elvis would go back to spiritual music as his solace so there’s a number of different gospel songs that I would return to, including ‘(There’ll Be) Peace in the Valley (For Me)’.
“When we went down to Nashville and recorded all the gospel numbers for the film, getting to be in these small churches listening to gospel being sung for eight hours straight, it sent chills down my spine and I couldn’t help but move.”
Austin said about listening to ‘Are You Lonesome Tonight? (Laughing Version)’: “There’s a recording of Elvis singing ‘Are You Lonesome Tonight?’ onstage where he can’t stop laughing. He’s almost crying!
“When I show that to people who haven’t heard it before, they can’t help but fall in love with him because he had one of the greatest, most genuine, open-hearted laughs. I felt like this gave me a window into him.”
He went on about ‘Unchained Melody’ being a significant song in his preparation: “Every time I watch or hear ‘Unchained Melody’, it brings tears to my eyes. It was a tricky one to sing, because at that point, I was quite large and so my breathing was constricted because you’re strapped into the jumpsuit.”
And he said ‘Separate Ways’ made him “feel very connected” to Elvis’ “soul” as it was recorded around the time of the King’s divorce from Priscilla Presley.
He added his other top Elvis tracks were ‘Milkcow Blues Boogie’, ‘Polk Salad Annie’, ‘Never Been to Spain’, ‘Trouble’ and ‘Smokestack Lightnin’’.

Helen Skelton loves being back in childhood home after Richie Myler split

OHMYGOSSIP — Helen Skelton loves being back in her childhood home after splitting from Richie Myler.
The ‘Countryfile’ presenter – who is currently competing on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – is finding rural life “joyous” after she moved back in her with parents following the revelation her 32-year-old rugby player ex was expecting another baby with his new girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill.
The 39-year-old broadcaster told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “I am literally in my childhood Cumbrian village with all my school friends, and so everyone just kind of mucks in together.
“I can get up in my pyjamas, pull my boots on, pull my dad’s coat on, walk across the fields with the dog and what a joyous way to start the day.”
Helen told the outlet she and her children – Ernie, seven, Louis, five, and Elsie, nine months – are “really happy and that’s all that really matters” and that she has not keen on getting back into the dating game as she “has loads to be thankful for” as she is focusing on her kids.
After taking to the dancefloor on Saturday night (15.10.2022) and getting their feedback from the judging panel of Craig Revel-Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke, the BBC Radio 5 Live DJ’s professional partner Gorka Marquez gushed about how much he “believed” in her.
The 32-year-old dancer said: “Can I just say something? I know you [Helen] have been having a difficult time and I know you’ve been made to feel like you’re not beautiful or good enough or anything, but if you don’t believe in yourself, I believe in you.
He added: “Everybody here believes in you, your family believes in you,” before being met with cheers and applause from the live studio audience of the BBC One Latin and ballroom competition.

Isobel Steele cried when she read her Emmerdale farewell

OHMYGOSSIP — Isobel Steele cried when she read the script for her ‘Emmerdale’ exit.
The 21-year-old actress – who played Liv Dingle since 2016 – has bid an emotional goodbye to fans after her character was killed off during the dramatic storm storyline marking the ITV soap’s 50th anniversary.
In a video posted on social media, she said: “I hope it made you cry. I definitely cried when I read it and it’s been a pleasure. It’s been the best seven years of my life.
“It’s been all worth it because of you, so thank you so much.”
Before her farewell video ends, Bradley Johnson – who plays Isobel’s on-screen husband Vinny Dingle – teases the departing soap star, asking for her security pass back as she’s been “prolonging [her] exit a bit”.
The soap’s official Twitter account – who shared the video – captioned it: “Don’t mind us, we’re just crying a million tears [crying emoji]”.
“Goodbye Liv, we’re going to miss you so much [red heart emoji]”.
Prior to her exit, there were reports the blonde beauty – who was in the middle of a storyline about her mother Sandra trying to meddle in her marriage – was leaving the long-running series set in the fictional town in the Yorkshire Dales to work on her music career.
‘Emmerdale’ producer Jane Hudson warned that Storm Week was going to “change everyone’s lives forever” so viewers were given a heads up that something dramatic was on its way.
She said: “There will be a huge storm that will wreak damage on the entire village and change everyone’s lives forever.”
Jane admitted it was “hard” to send characters to their graves but felt it was important to the genre.
She said: “It is always hard to kill a character as someone is losing their job. You don’t want somebody to lose their job.
“But the nature of soaps means if you want to introduce new characters, then you need to lose old ones. If you are going to do a death in the soap, it can’t be the postman who has had three lines because it doesn’t matter.
“A death has got to have an impact not just on the characters but also on the viewers watching. Each of our deaths will bring a different emotion.”
“It’s going to be a very special month and we hope everyone will really enjoy it all. But the 50th is not just a celebration of Emmerdale – it is a celebration of what makes soaps great.”

Love Island’s Paige Thorne admits Adam Collard split has been tough

OHMYGOSSIP — Paige Thorne admits she’s had a “really s*** time” amid her split from Adam Collard.
The ‘Love Island’ star is no longer with Adam, 26, following allegations he cheated on the 24-year-old paramedic just months after leaving the villa together, and she has spoken about their breakup for the first time.
Appearing on the ‘Saving Grace’ podcast, she said: “I’m single – living my best life. No I’m kidding, it’s been a really s*** time.”
News of Adam and Paige’s split comes after speculation they had gone their separate ways came when a video of him putting his arm around a woman in McDonald’s went viral.
The woman later insisted he was just chatting to her and did “literally nothing wrong”.
Now, Paige has alleged: “It’s not just that video. There are other videos that people don’t know about of different people, on the same night, in different locations.
“At first I was like, nah do you know what? It’s just an arm. I get that people get flirty. There’s nothing to it. If I’m in the club and a guy puts his arm around me, is it cheating? No.
“And then these other videos came out and I’m just like, ooh. Ooh, I can’t justify this.”
The reality star has dismissed the idea of rekindled her romance with Adam.
She added: “Absolutely not. I mean, would you? Would you get back with someone like that?”
However, she is back in touch with ex Jacques O’Neill, whom she was coupled with on the ITV2 dating show before he left to focus on his mental health and she moved on with Adam.
She revealed: “There has been slight contact. No contact with the lips. Let’s not forget how this boy done me in Casa [Amor].
“Obviously we had a vibe in there. But he done me over. D*******. Fine. But we’re just going to see where things go. I am in zero rush to be with a man because men are trash.”
