Alison Hammond ‘offered her own panel show on Sky’

OHMYGOSSIP — Alison Hammond is reportedly set to land her own panel show on Sky.
The 47-year-old TV star – who currently co-hosts ‘This Morning’ on Fridays – has been offered a lucrative new role by Sky, although it remains unclear whether she will make the switch or not.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “It remains to be seen if ‘This Morning’ bosses will give her a higher wage and a higher-profile role on the show to ensure she stays with them.
“If not, the Sky show is unlikely to be the last tempting offer she receives.”
The opportunity has come Alison’s way after she was previously hired by ITV to front a reboot of ‘Wheel Of Fortune’.
However, the project was subsequently scrapped, and rival broadcasters are now seeking to tempt her away from ITV.
Meanwhile, in 2020, Alison and Dermot O’Leary were announced as the permanent presenters of the Friday shows on ‘This Morning’.
Alison revealed at the time that she was looking forward to the challenge of hosting the long-running programme, explaining that she “genuinely cares about the show and the viewers who watch”.
The TV star – who shot to fame on ‘Big Brother’ in 2002, before becoming a reporter on ‘This Morning’ – said: “I never dreamt that when I first joined ‘This Morning’ – initially for a few months – that I would still be there 19 years later.
“I genuinely care about the show and the viewers who watch, so it’s a huge privilege and honour to be hosting a show I adore so much. I’m just really excited to be doing even more of what I love alongside the lovely Dermot.”

Love Island announces new duty of care measures

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Love Island’ bosses have announced a new set of duty of care measures for 2023.
The hit TV show – which is now hosted by Maya Jama – has previously been accused of failing to provide sufficient support for its contestants, and ITV has now announced a new set of “welfare measures”.
Dr Paul Litchfield – who reviews the measures with Dr Matthew Gould – said in a statement: “The duty of care arrangements for ‘Love Island’ continue to evolve in the light of advances in scientific knowledge and awareness of the pressures young people face in establishing healthy relationships.
“That culture of continuous improvement ensures that Islanders are well placed to benefit from their experience of participating in one of the UK’s most popular TV shows.”
Prior to entering the villa, the contestants will receive guidance and training around mutually respectful behaviour in relationships. They will also receive guidance about inclusive language around disability, sexuality, race and ethnicity, and microaggressions.
Dr Gould added: “The enhanced safeguards introduced for ‘Love Island’ 2023 demonstrate ITV’s commitment to evolve duty of care protocols to minimise harm, where possible.
“The bold decision to pause Islanders’ social media activity during the new series is testament to ITV’s serious intent, especially as this input provides both a benefit to the appeal of the programme and a potential source of mental health problems.
“Balancing this tight-rope requires both the identification of which safeguards have the greatest positive impact on participants’ wellbeing and the professional partnership, put in place by ITV, especially between producers and their welfare teams, and most importantly, the contributors themselves.”

Gary Lucy ‘lucky to be alive’ after horror car crash

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Lucy is “lucky to be alive” after a horror car crash.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ actor suffered an injured knee and left hospital on crutches following a terrifying car accident on Boxing Day (27.12.22), which ripped his front wheels off and smashed the entire front section of his vehicle.
Gary shared a picture of the totalled car on Instagram Stories and wrote: “Someone was watching over me today.”
He was also able to joke about the ordeal, captioning one picture “Gary 9 lives”.
Gary’s new girlfriend, former Love Island contestant Laura Anderson, also posted about the scary ordeal on her Instagram Stories.
She shared a video as they left the hospital, filming Gary as he walked on crutches after being given morphine to help with his pain.
She said: “Happy Boxing Day. We’ve had a lovely time, how are you feeling on your morphine?” and Gary replied: “Pretty f****** good to be fair.”
She also posted a collage of their day, beginning with Christmas fun and ending with an injured Gary asleep on the couch.
She wrote: “The exciting life of the Luce. Always keeping me on my toes.”
Meanwhile, Gary, 41, who met Laura, 33, on ‘Celebs Go Dating’, recently admitted he wants her to move to Essex and meet his four children.
He said: “Well, everyone on the show keeps talking weddings and kids and all that… It’s lovely. I mean, long may that continue really. I enjoy every part.
“I want to bring her back to mine, roast dinner with my mum, because her approval is important, and then chill. I want to get her down to Essex with me. I think she’s an Essex girl at heart.”

Strictly Come Dancing bosses ‘want Emma and Matt Willis’ for 2023

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ bosses reportedly want Emma and Matt Willis to compete against each other in 2023.
The famous couple could face off on the BBC Latin and ballroom show next year, with producers said to be keen to land the duo after Busted star Matt had to pull out of talks due to his theatre commitments.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “‘Strictly’ are desperate to get a celebrity couple on the show and Emma and Matt were in negotiations for the last series.
“It was virtually a done deal but then Matt was cast in the theatre show ‘2:22 A Ghost Story’ and they had to back out.
“‘Strictly’ would love to have them back on board for next year’s show and Emma and Matt h ave said if they can make it work they would jump at the chance.”
Bosses at the Beeb are said to be “always” hunting for new ways to “keep the format fresh”.
The source added: “Bosses on the show are always looking at ways to keep the format fresh and they loved the idea of having a celebrity couple competing against one another.
“Matt and Emma are very much in the running but if they can’t make it work, the ‘Strictly’ booker will be looking at other famous partnerships.”
Earlier this month, Emma added some fuel to the fire as she admitted she’s always “very, very tempted” to sign up.
She told Metro.co.uk: “I’ve never been shy about talking about my love for ‘Strictly’. I would never do any of the others [‘Dancing on Ice’ and ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’], not a chance in hell.
“‘Strictly’… I’m tempted every year, very very tempted. I watch it every year obsessively, and to be taught by the best to do a skill, why wouldn’t you?
“I’m not a dancer, I’m just a bit awkward. I kind of pogo up and down. So to do ballroom … I don’t know. It’s giving me the sweats standing in front of the judges. But I’m at a point where I’m like “f*** it” do the things that scare you.”

James Cameron confirms urban myth about unique Aliens pitch

OHMYGOSSIP — James Cameron has confirmed a long standing urban myth about his ‘Aliens’ pitch.
The 68-year-old filmmaker – who wrote and directed the 1986 sequel to Ridley Scott’s legendary sci-fi horror – has long been rumoured to have suggested the movie to 20th Century Fox executives by showing them the word “alien” and simply adding an S made into a dollar sign.
Now, he has confirmed the story to Empire after a question asked by Edgar Wright.
He said: “I had lunch with a bigshot producer when I was about to start Aliens who said, ‘This is a no-win for you. If your movie’s good, Ridley will get the credit. If it’s bad, it’s all you. It’s a career ender.’
“I said, ‘Yeah, buuuuuut… I like it.’ I was maybe a dumbass fanboy, but I could see it so clearly in my head that I just had to go make it. And yes, it’s true.”
The ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ director admitted the actual events match up to the rumour.
He explained: “I was in a meeting with the studio head and the executive producers, and I turned my script over and on the blank side of the last page I wrote ALIEN.
“Then I drew an S on the end. Then I drew two vertical lines through the S and held it up to show them.”
As for why the bold idea paid off, Cameron suggested it could be down to his display of “confidence”, or even something as simple as the symbolism in the pitch.
He added: “Maybe it was just Pavlovian conditioning when they saw the $ sign connected closely to the word ‘Alien’.
“Or maybe it was the confidence I projected. But they said yes.”
Thankfully for Cameron, it paid off with the movie being a huge critical success, while it made $180 million at the worldwide box office from an $18.5 million budget.

Hugh Jackman says Wolverine and Deadpool ‘hate each other’

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Jackman says Deadpool and Wolverine hate each other.
The 54-year-old actor will join Ryan Reynolds in the upcoming ‘Deadpool 3’, reprising his role as Wolverine from the ‘X-Men’ and ‘Wolverine’ movies and Hugh says the two characters will have an abrasive relationship.
Speaking on ‘The Empire Film Podcast’, he said: “10 being really close, zero being the reality, we’re zero, we’re opposites, hate each other. I’m just talking from my perspective, [Logan is] frustrated by him, wants to be a million miles away from him or wants to punch him in the head. Unfortunately, he can’t be a million miles away from him in this movie, so I’m probably going to punch him in the head a lot.”
Although Wolverine died in the 2017 ‘Logan’ movie, Hugh insisted that his return in ‘Deadpool 3’ won’t affect the events of ‘Logan’.
He explained previously: “It’s all because of this device they have in the Marvel world of moving around timelines. Now we can go back because, you know, it’s science. So, I don’t have to screw with the ‘Logan’ timeline, which was important to me. And I think probably to the fans too.”
Meanwhile, director Shawn Levy has promised that there will be “hardcore” violence in ‘Deadpool 3’.
Shawn previously said: “We are writing, rewriting, developing, prepping ‘Deadpool’ every day now.
“It is such a blast to laugh every day. It is so delicious to hear and write and come up with these scenes where people are just talking foul. And the violence is in your face and hardcore, and it’s very much a ‘Deadpool’ movie.”
Levy confirmed that the film is likely to start shooting in May 2023 and explained that having Jackman’s Wolverine involved has added to his enjoyment of the flick.
The director, who has worked with Ryan on ‘Free Guy’ and ‘The Adam Project’, said: “I’m having so much fun, and I haven’t even hit the shooting floor yet.
“I have to say, developing a ‘Deadpool’ movie is one of the most fun creative experiences of my life because it’s not just that it’s rated R. It’s that it’s so filled with self-awareness, and that makes in-writing very, very fun in a way that is unique to the franchise.”

Divina De Campo would love to appear on Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Divina De Campo wants to make history on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’ star – whose real name is James Charles – wants to become the first drag queen to take part in the BBC’s Latin and ballroom competition as her fellow queen The Vivienne is poised for an historic appearance on ‘Dancing On Ice’ in 2023.
Divina told Digital Spy: “I would kill! I would literally kill to be on ‘Strictly.’ ”
Her ‘Frock Destroyers’ co-star Baga Chipz backed her to succeed if she did get picked up by bosses for next year’s series.
She added: “Divina would be brilliant at that. I would do it, but just for the money.”
Meanwhile, fellow queen Blu Hydrangea revealed she would love to head to the jungle for ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
Baga quipped: “And I’ll be on ‘Can’t Pay? We’ll Take it Away!’ or ‘Benefits Britain.’ ”
Blu also said: “I was going to say ‘Big Brother’, that works too.”
Baga chipped in: “Oh, ‘Big Brother’ – I’d be driving everyone up the wall, arguing.”
The Vivienne – whose real name is James Lee Williams – will be testing her figure skating skills on ITV’s ‘Dancing On Ice’ in the New Year and she described it as a “dream come true”.
She said over the summer: “I’m beyond excited to announce that I will be competing in ‘Dancing on Ice’ in 2023!
“This is honestly a dream come true and I can’t wait to start training on the ice. To be the first drag artist to take part in one of the big UK reality competition shows is truly an honour.
“I think it’s a big step forward for queer representation on TV.”
She will be competing against fellow celebrities including actress and DJ Patsy Palmer, ‘Love Island’ star Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Coronation Street’s Mollie Gallagher.

Amanda Holden tried to set up Alan Carr with holiday romance

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Holden played matchmaker for Alan Carr while filming in Sicily.
The two friends have teamed up for a new BBC home renovation show ‘Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job’ and the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge tried to help her co-star move on after he split from ex husband Paul Drayton after three years of marriage and 13 years together.
He told The Sun newspaper: “Amanda would keep trying to get me a nice Italian boyfriend. It didn’t really matter what age, or whether they had any teeth, no one was off limits.
“Who doesn’t like a holiday romance? If our eyes locked over a massive bowl of pasta, like ‘Lady And The Tramp’, who’s to say?
“But I mean, Amanda was always trying to get me someone. We went to this flea market, I’m trying to decorate the bedroom and she brings over this man — ‘Alan, he’s single, he’s single’.
“Single, but he clearly was straight and fancied her. So I was getting Amanda’s seconds.”
Meanwhile, Amanda suggested the project was a “mind makeover” for Alan, and it kept him “busy” after the split.
She explained: “I think it’s good he was busy. It did help.
“Alan is a really breezy, positive, upbeat person. He doesn’t believe in dwelling on anything.
“We’re not going to just spiral on anything — you’re very matter-of-fact and onwards and upwards.
“But I think it was brilliant that he had a busy mind so that he could just think about plastering rather than Paul.”
Meanwhile, comedian Alan was keen to point out the duo worked hard during their trip rather than using it as a paid holiday.
He added: “This is the one thing I want to get across — we did get our hands dirty. I know there’s a lot of cynical people, like, ‘Oh, bloody celebrities’, but I mean, we were there almost all the time, in 36C heat.
“And on heat. And when you’re on heat as well, if you’re horny, it’s particularly really tough.”

Katya Jones’ dance lessons for panto co-stars

OHMYGOSSIP — Katya Jones has been teaching her panto co-stars to dance.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional is playing the Wicked Queen in a production of ‘Snow White’ taking place just outside of Manchester, and has been bonding with the rest of the cast by sharing her best moves with them.
She said “I get to do a bit of dancing. There’s a dance-off featuring some of my famous moves and a bit of ‘Gangnam Style’.
“I like to teach my moves to the cast members.
“I think they enjoy having a bit of ‘Strictly’ fun in the traditional panto.
“I also sing a song. I’m not a singer, clearly, but I give it absolutely everything.”
Katya previously played Glinda the Good Witch in a production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ in 2019 but admitted she prefers being a baddie.
She laughed: “I think I prefer playing the baddie you know.
“I just love getting into a character, whether they’re good or bad, and panto is right up my street.
“To go from TV to stage is quite nice.”
Katya grew up in Russia so had never experienced pantomime until she first starred in one, but thinks she “fit in like a glove” due to her sense of humour.
She said in a recent interview: “We don’t have anything like panto back at home but somehow my banter is very British. I fit in like a glove.
“You feel responsible being on stage because a lot of people associate Christmas with panto, especially children.
“I love the tradition of it – like with ‘Strictly’.
“When it comes on, you know Christmas is around the corner.”

Richard Madeley wants I’m A Celebrity return

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Madeley would like to go back on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The 66-year-old presenter took part in the 2021 series of the reality show – which took place in Wales because of COVID-19 restrictions – but was forced to withdraw after just five days after receiving hospital treatment, and he admitted he’d like a second chance at the programme.
Asked if he would go back, he said: “They haven’t asked me…
“To be fair, I’d think about it quite seriously. I don’t blame them, that was the way it was.
“We were all living with the COVID restrictions at that time, so I couldn’t go back.”
Richard admitted it was “annoying” being unable to return to the camp at the time.
He said: “I had to leave early because I had a funny turn in the night as I was dehydrated. I had to be checked out at the local hospital, which meant I’d left the Covid bubble.
“It wasn’t that I was ill, it was because I’d left the bubble and couldn’t go back in. It was really annoying.”
The former ‘This Morning’ presenter has ruled out trying another high-profile reality show because he doesn’t want to look like “a pillock”.
He told Bella magazine: “I wouldn’t dream of doing ‘Strictly’. I’d look like such a pillock.
“I cannot move, I cannot dance.
“It would be entertaining for everyone else but me.”
Richard can regularly seen on ‘Good Morning Britain’ and he’s “very happy” to have a casual arrangement with the programme.
He said: “I’m in my mid-60s and I’ve had my career arc, so now I just do stuff that I think is going to be fun and that I find interesting.
“I say no to quite a lot of stuff.
“When ‘GMB’ ask me to step in, I’m very happy to do so, but I’m not looking to have a massive contract.
“I’m very happy with the way it works.
“I get to know which days I’m going to do one or two months in advance and that suits me down to the ground.”

Rian Johnson annoyed by Glass Onion title

OHMYGOSSIP — Rian Johnson is annoyed that ‘Knives Out’ is included in the ‘Glass Onion’ title.
The director says he worked hard to ensure that the original ‘Knives Out’, released in 2019, and the recent release ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’ felt like separate movies that could exist independently of each other and he was not happy with ‘Glass Onion’s full title.
Speaking to The Atlantic, he said: ““I’ve tried hard to make them self-contained. Honestly, I’m p***** off that we have ‘A Knives Out Mystery’ in the title. You know? I want it to just be called ‘Glass Onion’.
“I get it, and I want everyone who liked the first movie to know this is next in the series, but also, the whole appeal to me is it’s a new novel off the shelf every time. But there’s a gravity of a thousand suns toward serialised storytelling.”
Daniel Craig, who plays detective Benoit Blanc, is the only actor to return for the second movie.
And Johnson also admitted he would have preferred a longer theatrical release from Netflix.
He said: “I’d love it to be longer; I’d love it to be in more. But also, I appreciate that Netflix has done this, because this was a huge effort on their part, and the chains, to reach across the aisle and make this happen. I’m hoping it does really well so we can demonstrate that they can complement each other.”
‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’ co-stars Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson and Dave Bautista.

Jamie Dornan not surprised by Bond speculation

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Dornan thinks it was “inevitable” he’d be suggested as a possible James Bond.
The 40-year-old star insisted any successful actor “of a certain age” gets linked to the role of the suave spy following Daniel Craig’s exit from the franchise, but he suggested he’s unlikely to get the part.
Speaking about the speculation, he said: “Of course it’s nice to be in those conversations.
“If you’re an actor of a certain age who’s had a good year, there’s an inevitability about [being mentioned].
“But they’ll probably replace Daniel Craig with somebody who’s never been on one of those lists.”
The ‘Tourist’ star – who has children Dulcie, nine, Elva, six, and three-year-old Alberta with wife Amelia Warner – feels “great” about entering a new decade.
He told Radio Times magazine: “I feel great about [turning 40]. I’m in a good place at work at home and I haven’t started sprouting hairs out of my nose yet.
“I’m standing here with three healthy kids and a beautiful wife and a good career.
“I don’t have a lot to complain about.
“I feel my life has been marked out by decades; I moved to London when I turned 20, modelled for 10 years and then my acting career kicked off at 30, and I got married and had children.
“That makes me even more excited about my 40s. I honestly feel like I haven’t even begun.”
Jamie recently insisted he doesn’t regret starring in the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ movies because they made him a household name, which has helped fund the smaller projects he wanted to do.
He said: “The thing is every move I have made in my career, post those films, I have only been able to do because of those films.
“Because all of the stuff, like ‘Belfast’, ‘Beyond Private’ or any like well-received more independent stuff I’ve done the last five or six years, they’re only budgeting, they’re only paying for those films to be made off my name because I’m in a franchise that made 1.4 billion dollars. That’s how that works. It’s all part of it, it’s given me so much, so of course I don’t regret it.”

Anna Williamson delves into close friendship with Celebs Go Dating co star Paul Carrick Brunson

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Williamson thinks her close friendship with Paul Carrick Brunson helps them on ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
The two relationship experts and co-stars – who recently continued their work together on the 11th season of the E4 reality show – are good pals even when the cameras stop rolling, and she has suggested that could be the secret to their success.
She told Digital Spy: “I think the most we ever get to disagreeing is having an alternative point of view. It’s really important.
“I mean, we are very, very good friends. Neither of us are in this to make telly you know we’re in it because we genuinely care about what we do.
“But we’re also very skilled at knowing TV as well. It would never be the done thing or cool within the profession of therapy to discredit a fellow coach or to disagree with their advice.”
She noted while they “may have an alternative point of view or another way of doing things”, viewers wouldn’t see them row about different approaches.
She added: “You may have an alternative point of view or another way of doing things and that is about as far as we would get when it comes to not agreeing with each other.”
“There is more than one way to do coaching and therapy and I think that’s what we really embody.”
Meanwhile, Anna noted they need to put on a strong “united” front to make sure the celebrities are able to “trust” their tips.
She explained: “If Paul and I disagree with each other how can we expect our celebrities to then trust in our advice?
“They wouldn’t know which one of us to trust. Paul describes it in a really good way: ‘We’re like mom and dad’.
“Essentially, we might disagree or might not always have the same viewpoint, but we [are] one united team.”

Mark Wright ‘set to present The Challenge War of the Worlds’

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Wright is reportedly set to present ‘The Challenge: War of the Worlds’.
The former ‘TOWIE’ star – who is fronting ‘The Challenge’ on Channel 5 next month – has impressed bosses with his stint on the UK version, and he is seemingly being lined up to get involved in a global edition in the United States.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “Mark wrapped filming on War Of The Worlds at the start of this month.
“They filmed the series in South Africa and it was a dream gig for Mark, who really got into it.
“He was chosen as a presenter because of his ease on camera during the British version of the show, which goes out on Channel 5 in January.”
US fans already know Mark from his time hosting programming for ‘Extra TV’.
The source added: “Mark is also well liked by US audiences because of his time on ‘Extra TV’. He has a global appeal and is an easy sell to TV bosses.
“Love Island’s Kaz Crossley competed in the show for the UK, along with ‘Geordie Shore’ star Nathan Henry.
“The series will air worldwide, so fans will be able to see it.”
Meanwhile, Mark previously revealed he had to turn down a major offer in the United States so he could stay in the UK and be with his wife Michelle Keegan.
He explained: “I was actually meant to host a really big dating show out there a few months ago.
“But I couldn’t do it because I had to be in a bubble for three months and I wouldn’t have been able to leave, so I had to say no.
“When I was out there I saw the show on TV and it looked really good, so I was devastated. But I don’t regret leaving LA.”

Maisie Smith’s travel plan

OHMYGOSSIP — Maisie Smith wants to “travel the world” next year.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actress – who is dating Max George – is currently on tour with ‘Strictly Ballroom: The Musical’ but is looking forward to an extended period of time off so she can go off on an adventure.
She said: “I’ve got a lot to tick off the bucket list.
“But one is to take a couple of months off in 2023 and literally travel the world.”
The 21-year-old actress doesn’t find fame particularly hard to cope with because it is all she has ever known.
Asked if she finds fame difficult to deal with, she said: “I started on ‘EastEnders’ aged six, so I’ve never not known this lifestyle.”
However, Maisie can’t help but “obsess” over critical comments.
She added: “The older I got though, the more people had to say. At 18, I was in the public eye more than ever due to ‘Strictly’ and I wasn’t expecting such varied opinions of me.
“The problem is there’s usually 99 per cent positive comments and I obsess about the one per cent that are negative.”
And the actress insisted she’s not as confident as people think.
She told Best magazine: “I’ve always had self-doubt.
“I think it’s good to be open about it because the more people know that a lot of people have struggles, it might inspire people to do the same.
“I want people to know I’m not the confident, cocky little cow that everyone thinks I am.”

Brooke Shields says ‘Blue Lagoon’ would never be made today

OHMYGOSSIP — Brooke Shields says her ‘Blue Lagoon’ film would never be made today.
The 57-year-old actress starred in the 1980 film alongside Christopher Atkins when they were aged 14 and 18 respectively.
They played cousins who were stranded on a deserted island, before falling in love and having a child.
Despite the film being making $58 million (£47 million) at the box office, Brooke said on her podcast ‘Now What?’: “Never again will a movie be made like that. It wouldn’t be allowed.”
Her former co-star Christopher, who was a guest on the podcast, agreed: “Animals were hurt in the movie. We were spearing fish and all kinds of crazy things. Children are naked running down a beach. Couldn’t do that now.”
Brooke added on the episode producers wanted them to get close for the sake of their chemistry in the film, adding: “I remember thinking, ‘Hey, let’s get to know each other first rather than trying to make us fall in love with each other and force the situation’. I did not react well to being forced into feeling anything.
“I wanted to sort of be left on my own – I hadn’t really kissed anybody, really, at that age.”
Brooke said about making the film in her 2014 autobiography ‘There Was A Little Girl: The Real Story of My Mother and Me’: “You sort of desensitise yourself to anything sexual.
“In ‘Blue Lagoon’, I’m using a glue gun, taping my hair, anything I can so my body doesn’t show I have boobs.
“And I didn’t realise I was doing it, because I was a kid.”
