Avatar: The Way of Water nearly explored outer space

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ nearly took Na-vi into outer space.
James Cameron’s long awaited sequel hit the big screen this month with the characters going on a journey from the rainforest to the ocean, but screenwriters Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver have revealed there was a pitch to boldly go even further.
Jaffa told Entertainment Weekly: “There was one idea of a space battle with Na’vi. That idea got a lot of traction, and we talked a lot about it. We were struggling, though. How would that work with the story that we’re telling?
“Jim said, ‘Well, give me a few weeks.’ He went off and he wrote an entire script. And, by the way, a brilliant script.”
Jaffa and Silver were part of Cameron’s think tank – which was formed as far back as 2013 to develop the script for the sequel – with Josh Friedman and Shane Salerno, and despite the team liking the idea, it “didn’t really work” with the overall story.
Jaffa added: “At the end of the day, the whole script got thrown out because it just didn’t really work with the story we were telling.”
It wasn’t unusual for the writers’ room to work on an idea like that to see if it would fit the story, with some being “minor” pitches they would “dial down on”.
Silver explained: “The idea was six months in a writers’ room, and that we were going to break down beat by beat three movies, which would describe a larger saga, but each movie would be distinct.
“We didn’t know which movie we were gonna write. We were gonna be invested in all of them and each beat of each movie.
“Then come Christmas [of 2013], Jim would tell us which movie we had and send us off to write, and he would work on writing each of the scripts with us.”

Kristin Chenoweth ‘so proud’ of Ariana Grande for Wicked role

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristin Chenoweth says Ariana Grande is going to “put her own stamp” on the role of Glinda in the forthcoming ‘Wicked’ films.
The 54-year-old actress starred in the role in the hit Broadway musical ‘Wicked’ in 2003, and she is “so proud” of the 29-year-old pop star for taking over the part.
Quizzed on whether she speaks to Grande about the films, Chenoweth said: “Yeah, I do. She’s going to put her own stamp on it. I’m so proud of her.
“I wanted her to do her Glinda. And that’s what she’s doing. I’m proud of her.”
The big screen adaptation of the musical will be split into two movies, with the first scheduled for release on Christmas Day 2024, and the second expected to drop on Christmas Day 2025.
Asked if she thinks there is enough material for the musical – which is based on the 1995 novel of the same name by Gregory Maguire – to be split into two films, Chenoweth told ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’: “There’s so much more in the books that we know about the characters, so yeah, there is.
“And I haven’t read anything, but I think so. I think there is enough.”
Jon M. Chu will direct the two movies, and he recently admitted “the door is always open” for Idina Menzel – who portrayed Elphaba in the Broadway musical – and Chenoweth to join the films.
He said: “The door is always open. Are you kidding? I’m not gonna say anything.
“I’m not gonna do anything yet, but of course that original cast is amazing. They’ve been so gracious … They’ve only been supportive and kind.”
Cynthia Erivo will portray Elphaba in the two upcoming movies.

Gemma Owen ‘romantically linked to Bugzy Malone’

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Owen has been romantically linked to Bugzy Malone.
The former ‘Love Island’ star – who confirmed in November that she and Luca Bish, who she found love with on the ITV2 dating show, had split – is said to have grown close to the 32-year-old rapper, whose real name is Aaron Davies, in recent weeks.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Gemma and Aaron have enjoyed a few dates over the past few weeks.
“They have told their closest friends they are dating and seem really happy together.”
The pair are said to be taking their budding romance “slowly”.
The source added: “Gemma and Aaron are keeping their relationship out of the public eye for now because it is early days.
“He is really into her and has made it clear how he feels.
“It is all very new and exciting for both of them but they are taking it slowly.”
Gemma, 19 – whose father is former England footballer Michael Owen – took to Instagram in November to confirm she and 23-year-old fishmonger Luca had gone their separate ways.
She wrote at the time: “To all my followers, I wanted to let you know that Luca and I are no longer in a relationship. It wasn’t an easy decision but ultimately this is what is best for us both right now.
“Many of you have been on this journey with us from the beginning, and I wanted to thank you for your continued support as we start our new chapters.”
But Luca suggested he hadn’t wanted the news to be made public yet.
He wrote on his own Instagram Story at the time: “Switched my phone back on after taking some time out to clear my head after an emotional afternoon to thousands of messages and news articles about my breakup.
“I would have liked some time to process this privately but as you all already now know, sadly Gemma and I made the mutual decision earlier today to go our separate ways.
“We have been on such a journey together and have made some amazing memories which I will treasure.
“I can’t thank everyone enough for their support for us as a couple during and after ‘Love Island’.
“We will remain good friends and I wish nothing but the best for her.”

Channel 4 ‘planning new X rated dating show’

OHMYGOSSIP — Channel 4 is reportedly planning a new X-rated dating show called ‘Sex First’.
The broadcaster behind the likes of ‘Naked Attraction’ – which is hosted by Anna Richardson – and sister channel E4’s ‘Married At First Sight UK’ is looking to launch a fresh format which sees couples encouraged to have sex on a virtual first date using an avatar and Bluetooth toys.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s TVBiz column: “Channel 4 has aired some bizarre dating shows, but this will be the most outrageous.
“They made a pilot towards the end of last year and the next phase is screen-testing it to audiences.
“If it’s green lit, it is bound to cause controversy but the series could also attract some big ratings.”
It’s said the programme – which has the working title ‘Sex First’ for the time being – would explore the theory that sexual chemistry is vital for perfect matches.
The show would see single people introduced online behind avatars, before moving on to using Bluetooth-synced sex toys together.
If they enjoy their first encounter, they would then meet in person to see if the bond is as strong in real life, and then decide whether or not to take their relationship further.
This comes despite a number of rating shows being scrapped in recent months, including C4 itself ditching Joel Dommett’s ‘The Love Trap’, while ITV dumped plans for ‘Ready To Mingle’, ‘Romeo And Duet’ and ‘The Singles Table’.
Meanwhile, ‘Naked Attraction’ host Anna previously admitted she would love to take the show on the road for a live theatre tour with audience members stripping off on stage.
She said: “I’m desperate to do it as a live theatre show. That would be amazing. A ‘Naked Attraction Live’ is my next ambition.
“Say you were in Bournemouth, you’d have different contestants each night or encourage people from the audience to be in the pods. Wouldn’t it be ace?”
However, an US version isn’t on the cards as she explained producers are facing a “brick wall when it comes to showing penises on US television”.
She added: “It would go down like a cup of sick in the Bible belt.”

Simon Bird: An Inbetweeners return would be a terrible idea

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Bird thinks it would be a “terrible idea” to bring back ‘The Inbetweeners’.
The 38-year-old star played teen Will McKenzie in the E4 sitcom, but he doesn’t think the show would be “funny” if it made a comeback, and says it would be seen as “sad and creepy” now instead.
He told the Radio Times magazine: “My instinct is it would be a terrible idea. What was funny about these characters was the stage of life they were at.
“They could get away with some of the terrible things they said and did because they were still essentially children.
“If they got back together now, I’m not sure that would be funny. I think it might just be sort of sad and creepy.”
Simon recently insisted he doesn’t even think ‘The Inbetweeners’ – which ran for three series from 2008 to 2010 and spawned two films – would be commissioned nowadays.
He recently said: “I honestly think it wouldn’t be commissioned today.”
After being questioned if this was because of sexism and other jokes, Simon said: “Yeah, and the casual homophobia.”
But Simon justified the show’s legacy, saying the series – which also featured Joe Thomas, Blake Harrison and James Buckley – was supposed to be “an accurate representation” of teen life.
He said: “I rationalise it to myself by saying that at the time it was an accurate representation of the way teenagers talk to each other. Is that still the case now? I assume not.
“Although the programme was set in the 2000s, it was based on a pilot set in 1990, so even in the 2000s it wasn’t really an accurate reflection of how teenagers spoke.”

Christopher Landon thinks Happy Death Day 3 chances are ‘dimming’

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Happy Death Day’ director Christopher Landon thinks the chances of a third movie are “dimming”.
The 47-year-old filmmaker has pondered the future of his black comedy slasher film, having released the first in 2017 to great success before its 2019 sequel ‘Happy Death Day 2 U’ had an underwhelming return at the box office.
Speaking to SlashFilm about the possibility of ‘Happy Death Day 3’, he said: “I don’t know what it would take. There was talk for a minute of it maybe being a Peacock thing. Maybe. Maybe one day.
“The beauty of it is that my idea, the whole idea for the third movie, it is not dependent on any sort of specific window or timeframe.
“So I could make it any time, but I mean, as the years draw past, I feel like our chances are dimming.”
Landon admitted there has been “tiny movement” over the past few years, but he has struggled to “motivate” the studio to seriously consider making his project a trilogy.
He explained: “There was a tiny moment where I really felt like I had Universal’s attention, but they forgot about me.
“I think it’s a really tough one for them, and I’m being really blunt and honest in that the first movie was very successful. It made a lot of money. It was well-received.
“And the sequel was not. The sequel is loved by people who have seen it, but it did not make a lot of money, and it was not a success for them.
“So it’s very hard to motivate them to make a third movie when the last one just didn’t perform. Those are the hard economics of the business.”
The first film saw Jessica Rothe star as college student Tree, who got caught in a time loop in which she repeatedly died at the hands of a masked killer.
In the 2019 sequel, they explored the reason she was caught in the loop.

Ron Howard open to Backdraft adaptation

OHMYGOSSIP — Ron Howard would love to see ‘Backdraft’ get adapted for television.
The 68-year-old filmmaker has seen a number of his movies get the small screen treatment, including 1989’s ‘Parenthood’ and ‘Willow’, and he would be open to seeing more of his films brought to TV.
He told Entertainment Weekly: “‘Backdraft’ would be fun. You could get the scope and the intensity that we had to do all in-camera — now we could do it efficiently and safely.”
The 1991 film stars Kurt Russell and William Baldwin as feuding firefighter siblings forced to work together to deal with a dangerous arsonist.
Howard noted that “there’s something about a family of firefighters” as he pointed to TV’s history of “shows around firehouses”, while he admitted ‘Backdraft’ is “a great world”.
He also took the chance to reflect on some of the riskier fire sequences in the movie, and he acknowledged they could be done in a “safer” way if he did adapt the movie for TV or streaming.
He said: “We were kind of on the borderline there when you throw the safety question into what we were doing.
“I was so relieved when we wrapped. But now I believe we could tackle it and be just as ambitious visually and be a little safer.”
However, he was keen to point out that despite discussing the idea with producer Brian Grazer – with whom he runs Imagine Entertainment – there is no actual movement.
He explained: “WE’re not actively working on it. Although Brian Grazer talks about it from time to time, so maybe one of these days.”

Shirley Ballas: This is the best I’ve ever felt

OHMYGOSSIP — Shirley Ballas says she’s happier than ever with her appearance.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge has has undergone non-invasive procedures to rejuvenate her face, and admits she now feels more confident than ever aged 62.
She said: “This is the best I’ve looked in years. Every woman in her 60s wants to feel confident, and I have to say at age 62, I now feel by far the best I’ve ever felt.”
The ballroom dancer was ecstatic with the results of the procedure after she was determined to avoid going under the knife, and began treatment at the beginning of 2022.
She added: “This time last year I was conscious that my jawline was sagging and hanging a bit, my skin looked dull and a bit lifeless and I wanted to get rid of all my spider veins and tighten up the skin on my neck and chest.
“I wanted to look my very best but I really didn’t want to go under the knife, so I thought I would try this alternative route.”
Shirley sought out one of the UK’s top cosmetic doctors, Dr Judy Todd, who gave her a programme which incorporated high-tech NeoGen treatments, as well as a daily topical skincare regime.
The former dancing champion began seeing results over the course of six months and said the treatments “have definitely turned back the clock and made me look younger”.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, she said: “These changes don’t happen overnight, but over the course of six months, I could see a huge difference and it is still getting better.
“When I started, I didn’t know what to think or what was going to happen to my face, or whether I was optimistic or not, but now I absolutely love the results.
“My jawline feels that much sharper and I feel like the skin is not sagging. It feels rejuvenated, bright and clean, with no little veins or sun spots – all in all, a really spectacular look.
“These changes don’t happen overnight, but over the course of six months, I could see a huge difference and it is still getting better.”

Craig Revel Horwood: I’d love to see Bruno Tonioli on BGT

OHMYGOSSIP — Craig Revel Horwood would “love” to see Bruno Tonioli on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge is excited that his former co-star could become the new face on the ITV talent show, after it was recently reported he is set to replace David Walliams on ‘BGT’.
Quizzed on the speculation, Craig told ‘Good Morning Britain’: “I would love to say he is, but I believe he’s up against Alan Carr as well so I think they’re juggling and they’re going to save it as a surprise, so I in fact don’t know.
“And Bruno is very secretive with me, darling, so he will never be honest with me or tell me the truth. So I really don’t know.
“But I would love to see Bruno back on our screens and I think it’s a great position to have so I wish him all the very best if he is in the running for it because I think he’d be wonderful to get that energy back on the telly.”
Earlier this week, it was reported Bruno had beaten Alan to the judging role.
A TV insider told The Sun newspaper: “For almost two months Alan may have been the favourite to take over from David, but Bruno was always Simon Cowell’s preferred choice.
“Not only does he have years of judging experience under his belt from his time on ‘Strictly’, he will bring an outrageous brand of comedy that ‘BGT’ needs on the panel.
“In so many ways this is already the perfect job for Bruno as it sees him return to a glitzy showbusiness favourite that fits in with the rest of his work.”
Bruno has recently appeared on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in the US, but he’s now been made a lucrative offer to return to British TV.
The insider explained: “Sealing the deal was always down to him being presented with an offer enticing enough to make a commitment to the show.
“After intense negotiations, they’ve managed to reach an agreement that will now see him return to prime-time Saturday night TV in the UK.”

Andrew Garfield wants RuPaul Drag Race return

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew Garfield wants to return to ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’.
The 39-year-old star appeared on the panel alongside Alan Carr and Michelle Visage in 2019, and he would “absolutely” love to go back on the BBC programme as a judge.
He told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “I’d love to go back on as a judge, absolutely. And I would love to get in drag.
“But I wouldn’t get in drag on the show. It’s the queens’ time to shine – it’s not about me.”
Andrew was confirmed as a guest judge in July 2019, and admitted he loves the “creativity” on the drag queen show.
He said: “The creativity is always totally outside the box and it’s one of the many reasons I watch and love this show.”
At last year’s Academy Awards, Andrew was initially stumped when asked who he would impersonate if he ever got the chance to take part in the Ru’s Blankety Blank-style challenge Snatch Game.
He said: “You’re putting me on the spot! What am I gonna do? What’s it gonna be?
“I need something to come, I’m like drawing a blank! This is an unfair question to ask in a high pressure, high stakes environment … Meryl [Streep]? Why not? Let’s give it a try. She’s hilarious.”
In 2017, the ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ actor told how he used to love having friends round to binge watch ‘Ru Paul’s Drag Race’.
He said at the time: “Every Sunday I would have eight friends over and we would just watch Ru.
“I mean every single series of RuPaul’s Drag Race. I mean every series.”

Steven Spielberg admits COVID fears forced him to make The Fabelmans

OHMYGOSSIP — Steven Spielberg was determine to shoot ‘The Fabelmans’ because of his fears over the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 76-year-old filmmaker has opened up on his desire to bring the semi-autobiographical coming of age drama – which is loosely based on his own life – to the big screen, and he admitted he was concerned that the global health crisis would scupper his plans.
He told the ‘SmartLess’ podcast: “I was terrified this was an end-of-days, an epic-level event, I mean an extinction-level event, that was happening to the world.
“By the time I had serious discussions about writing this, we’d lost 250,000 Americans to COVID.
“And I was actually saying to my family that if there was one thing I was able to leave behind, if I got the chance to make one more movie, it was going to be this story.”
Spielberg explained how it was the first time he had felt pressured to write a script.
He said: “I’ve never had that feeling until now, until the pandemic. Like all of us I was riveted at the time to what all the anchors were saying on all the different news outlets.
“And all the experts that were coming out and the denial from the White House that this wasn’t so bad, it was just like a passing flu epidemic.”
The personal project is one Spielberg has had in his mind “all his life”, and he didn’t want to risk missing his chance.
He added: “I really thought we were not heading in a good direction and this was not going to end well for many of us.
“And that just got me thinking about telling a story that has been on my mind. All my life I’ve thought about this.”

Jason Blum broke ‘cardinal rule’ for M3GAN sequel

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Blum has admitted ‘M3GAN’ convinced him to break his “cardinal rule” on sequels.
The Blumhouse boss produced the hit horror – which follows an AI doll who develops chilling self awareness – has reflected on his decision to consider a follow-up much “earlier” than he would normally do so.
He told Variety: “After I first saw the movie, we had a good sense that a sequel might really work. So, we broke our cardinal rule and we started talking about a sequel before the movie was released.
“I felt so bullish that we started entertaining a sequel earlier than we usually do.”
He teased that it is “too soon to say” whether or not the sequel will be called ‘MEG4N’.
On the subject of the title, Blum – who dressed as the character for the film’s Los Angeles premiere last month noted that studio Atomic Monster pitched the style and admitted “every detail matters”.
He added: “The title treatment was from Atomic Monster. It came to us with that title, with the 3 for an ‘e’. It’s all important.
“When you get something to connect with culture, it’s very tricky. It happens so rarely. Every detail matters. You never know what actually did it, but the title certainly played a part.”
Meanwhile, Blum pointed out that “every detail” of the titular character had to be planned out precisely to make sure the creepy doll clicked with film fans.
He said: “The way you stick the landing is you don’t start prepping your movie until you know exactly every detail of what M3GAN is going to look like, how you’re going to shoot her.
“We’ve made mistakes in the past where we have some kind of monster in a movie and we start prepping before the monster is worked out.
“We learned from those mistakes, so I didn’t want to spend any money on the movie until we knew exactly how we were going to do M3GAN. Special effects go wrong when they are rushed.”

My little masterpiece!
I’m COMPLETELY OBSESSED.

He wrote: “Our daughter is here
The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.
So proud of u @sjdooley
Love u Minnie , Love u Stace x (sic)”
Stacey revealed in August that she was expecting.
Alongside a photo of her growing baby bump, Stacey wrote: “Gaaaaaaang… We are having a baby! So bloody delighted. Kev, you’re magic, I love youuuu.
“(Was becoming impossible to hide and if one more person asks me if I’ve had my t*** done in LA I’m gonna scream). Here goessssssss. (sic)”
Kevin shared the same picture of Stacey’s baby bump on his own Instagram account.
He wrote on the photo-sharing platform: “We’re having a baby! [heart emojis] And I think my girl @staceydooley looks beautiful pregnant. (sic)”
Last July, Kevin called Stacey the “best thing in [his] life” as he confirmed that they’d spoken about tying the knot and starting a family sooner rather than later.
Kevin – who quit ‘Strictly’ in 2020 to focus on “other areas of his career” – said: “We talk about it. We’ve got no plans for it but we’re both interested in the idea of having kids. But it’s not something we’re looking to or planning at the moment.
“We’re just taking each day as it comes and enjoying being together.”
Stacey met Kevin when they were partnered up together on ‘Strictly’ together in 2018, and they went on to win the show. The pair went public with their romance the following year.

Iain Stirling’s FIFA ‘dream’

OHMYGOSSIP — Iain Stirling would play ‘FIFA’ “non-stop” if he was ever locked in his house for 24 hours.
The ‘Love Island’ narrator admits it would be a “dream” scenario if he was trapped inside alone, because he could play the football video game, drink beer, gorge on curry and then have an early night.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK – https://www.cosmopolitan.com/uk/ – when asked what he would do if he was locked at home for 24 hours, he said: “I would play ‘FIFA’ non- stop, have a few cans of lager, a curry and an early night. That would be the dream.”
Iain also revealed he and his former ‘Love Island’ host wife Laura Whitmore have an Olympic torch in their house.
He added: “My wife [Laura Whitmore] was a torch bearer for the London 2012 games, so we’ve got an Olympic torch in our house, which is pretty cool.
“It’s not technically my prize, but it’s my prized possession … it’s my possession by the laws of marriage.”
Iain resumed his role as the voice of ‘Love Island’ when the show returned for a ninth series, and second-ever winter edition, on Monday night (16.01.23).
But Laura was nowhere to be seen after she quit her hosting role, and was replaced by Maya Jama.
She revealed the decision in August, writing on Instagram at the time: “Some news! I won’t be hosting the next series of Love island. There are certain elements of the show I’ve found very difficult that cannot be changed some due to the format, including the flying back and forth to South Africa along with my new conflicting projects.
“I wish it was still possible but know you’ll be in safe hands. I was only planning to fill in for Caroline for a series and it turned into 3 series. I hope I did you proud Caroline.”
The full Iain Stirling interview can be read in the Feb/March issue of Cosmopolitan UK, on sale now.

Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall favourites to win Love Island

OHMYGOSSIP — Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall are already favourites to win this year’s ‘Love Island’.
The new series, the second-ever winter version, of the ITV2 dating show kicked off on Monday night (16.01.23) with 10 new singletons entering the South African villa, where they coupled up with one another under the stewardship of host Maya Jama.
Punters clearly think 25-year-old make-up artist Lana and 25-year-old financial advisor Ron have a big chance of winning the £50,000 prize, as the pair have been installed as 9/2 favourites with William Hill to do so.
After them, the bookmaker quotes 9/1 on Shaq Muhammad, 24, and Tanya Manhenga, 22, after he stepped forward for her when she was the first female Islander to enter the villa.
Biomedical science student Tanya then picked Shaq to couple up with.
But Lana and Ron, and Tanya and Shaq are currently the only two couples who have single-figure odds.
Anna-May Robey, 20, and Haris Namani, 21, are among several Islanders priced at 14/1 to triumph on the series.
PE and science teacher Kai, 24, was stolen from payroll administrator Anna-May when Olivia Hawkins, 27, entered the villa and coupled up with him.
However, Kai later stepped forward when Tanyel Revan, 26, came into the villa, and she opted to couple up with him.
As a result, Kai and Tanyel are 14/1 to win the show with William Hill, but punters clearly think there is a chance that he might reconcile with Anna-May, as the pair are also 14s.
Due to Kai coupling up with Tanyel, Olivia was left single, and she ended up joining forces with farmer Will Young, 23, but there didn’t seem to be too much of a spark between the pair.
Punters appear to have taken this onboard and left the couple out of their betting sites, with the bookies pricing them up at 40/1 shots.

Amy Robbins gets brotherly advice ahead of Coronation Street stint

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Robbins’ brother Ted Robbins warned her that standing on the ‘Coronation Street’ set for the first time would be “overwhelming”.
The 51-year-old actress will be following in her sibling’s footsteps as she takes on the role of Daisy Midgeley’s long-lost mother Christina in the ITV soap.
Amy, who is also the auntie of ‘The Inbetweeners’ star Emily Atack, said her family were over the moon after she announced her new role.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ”My family are all really pleased for me. They know how much this ‘Coronation Street’ role means to me. We are never competitive with each other and we are all very close.
“My dad, Michael, worked in variety all his life and my mum, Elizabeth, sang.
“Show business is in our DNA, it’s a family business that has lasted generations.”
Ted, 67, who previously starred in the soap as Mary Taylor’s love interest, Brendan Finch, from 2015 until 2016, reminisced of his time on set and told his told his little sister not to underestimate the feeling of being on the cobbles for the first time.
She added: “He told me not to underestimate the feeling of standing in the Rovers for the first time.
“He said it would be overwhelming and he was right.
“His other piece of advice was not to call William Roache ‘Ken’ like he did. Ted bumped into William and accidentally said, ‘Hello Mr Barlow’.”
The Liverpudlian star, who grew up watching ‘Coronation Street’ with her late parents, was emotional as she said her mum and dad would have been so excited for her.
She added: “It has always been my dream to work on ‘Coronation Street’.
“We always watched it religiously when I was growing up and my mum and dad absolutely loved it.
“They sadly died about 10 years ago now. When I arrived on my first day on set, I stood in front of the ‘Coronation Street’ sign and said to myself ‘look where I am now Mum and Dad’. They would have both been so excited.
“At that point, a song that Dad played to me just before he died came on. It was as if they were with me. It was such an amazing moment.”
