Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett launch new series of Dish podcast

OHMYGOSSIP — The critically acclaimed podcast ‘Dish’ hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett is back for a third series.
The first episode, which is released on Wednesday (05.04.23), will see the return of the duo return to their post as they invite listeners to join their weekly dinner parties alongside an array of special guests.
Broadcast veteran Nick and Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett will be dishing up a variety of hilarious and unfiltered chats from stars like cook Dame Prue Leith, singer Charlotte Church, DJ Scott Mills, TV presenters Alex Jones and Rick Edwards as well as comedians Adam Hills, Aisling Bea and more.
Nick said: “So excited to be back for another series of Dish! Getting to work alongside the legendary and hilarious Angela Hartnett has been a total joy. I can’t wait to get going on another series. See you in the kitchen.”
Angela added: “Working with Nick on this has been hysterical, I spend the whole time laughing. What’s not to love about cooking, eating, drinking, and chatting with our dream dinner-party guests? I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do recording it.”
Actor Rob Delaney is the first guest to appear on the series where he will be discussing everything from working with Tom Cruise and raising his boys to his new book.
During the interview, the ‘Catastrophe’ actor, 46, also broke the news that it was unlikely he’d be returning for another series.
He said: “I mean, I hope we don’t, only because people reboot everything now. Like let it be. We stopped doing it because we had done four series that we were proud of and we could smell that we were getting in danger of repeating ourselves, and frankly, we said a lot about marriage and parenting in there, maybe Sharon might have some ideas. I totally don’t. I like had scraped the barrel and was like, that’s all I know.”
Adding: And so, if we did another one, I think it might be bad, or worse, a cash grab. I would rather starve to death. I don’t want my kids to starve to death, but I would totally on principal be like, check it out, I starved to death ‘cause it was cooler than trot out some [rubbish] … And then the ones that do reboot, like so many that reboot, you’re like, I was fine with that not existing anymore and then it comes back and you’re like, eh, so God help us if we ever did that.”
‘Dish’ from Waitrose Partners, hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett is available on all podcast providers now.

Sir David Attenborough voted Britain’s favourite TV presenter

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir David Attenborough has been voted UK’s favourite presenter of all time.
The 96-year-old TV veteran has graced the screens since the 1950s and enjoyed a glistening career that has spanned eight decades.
The naturist, broadcaster and historian won the nation’s hearts as a documentary narrator inspiring the modern format of nature documentaries.
The media personality came out on top according to a recent poll which revealed he won 28 percent of the vote out of the 30 household names that made up the list.
David has written, produced and narrated hundreds of natural history documentaries throughout his life including ‘Life on Earth’, ‘The Private life of Plants’ and ‘Planet Earth’ and those who took part in the survey explained that the quality of being “genuine” is what makes a “great” TV host, while just over half of them claimed that presenting has become a “dying art.”

Rylan Clark joins The Archers for Eurovision special

OHMYGOSSIP — Rylan Clark is joining ‘The Archers’ for a Eurovision special.
The 34-year-old presenter is excited to make a guest appearance in an episode of the long-running countryside soap opera – which has been broadcast on BBC Radio since 1951 – which will see the residents of Ambridge end up in their own community version of the annual music festival.
Rylan said: “I’m looking forward to getting my wellies on and checking out what Eurovision excitement Ambridge’s residents have to offer as I pop into the iconic Archers. I’ve seen some drama throughout my time, but nothing compares to what’s about to unfold in Ambridge.”
Over the years, ‘The Archers’ -which is soon to reach its milestone 20,000th episode – has featured guest appearances from several big names, with the likes of Dame Judi Dench, Dame Edna Everage, and Queen Consort, Camilla all having popped up on the soap at one time or another and the team are “delighted” to have the former ‘X Factor’ star on board.
Jeremy Howe, Editor of The Archers, said: “We’re delighted to have Rylan stopover in Ambridge for his Archers radio debut. It’s been a real treat welcoming him to the programme and it’s certainly brought Eurovision fever pitch to new heights.”
Rylan’s appearance on ‘The Archers’ will be broadcast on Friday 12 May, just one day before pop star Mae Muller represents the UK in the Grand Final of the international song competition – which this year is being held in Liverpool on behalf of last year’s winners Ukraine – with her original track ‘I Wrote a Song.’

Cary Elwes teases ‘epic’ Rebel Moon

OHMYGOSSIP — Cary Elwes has hinted at the “epic” scale of ‘Rebel Moon’.
The 60-year-old actor features in the ensemble cast of Zack Snyder’s space movie and is convinced that the movie will impress audiences when it is released on Netflix in December.
Speaking to Screen Rant, Cary said: “I can’t tell you much, honestly, other than that it’s an epic film. I think that fans will just be so excited when they get a chance to see it.
“It’s a huge, huge movie, and Zack, as you know, knows how to do epic. So, it was a delightful experience, and I’m excited for the fans to see it. It’ll be out in Christmas, and it’s great fun.”
Elwes stars in ‘Rebel Moon’ alongside Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam and Sir Anthony Hopkins with Snyder directing the film from a script he has penned with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad.
The sci-fi project is set in a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy that finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius. A young woman (Boutella) is dispatched to seek out warriors from neighbouring planets to help them make a stand.
Meanwhile, Cary gave a sceptical response when quizzed on a potential return to the ‘Saw’ horror franchise as Dr. Lawrence Gordon.
He said: “I have no comment one way or the other about that franchise, I really can’t speak to it.
“I’m happy for the filmmakers that they continue to make money, and that it seems to be a financial bonus for them, I really can’t speak to it, because I’m not really involved anymore.”

Jack Black: Playing Bowser was a no-brainer

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Black says it was a “no-brainer” to play Bowser in ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’.
The 53-year-old star voices the fire-breathing antagonist in the new film adaptation of the hit Nintendo video game series and had no doubts about taking the role as there is an established audience for the movie.
Jack told the BBC: “My instinct was to say ‘yes’ straight away, but then my agent says, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a second. Let’s negotiate with them.’
“But for me, it’s one of those no-brainers. ‘They want you to play Bowser in Super Mario Brothers?’ That just sounds like a home run. There’s a built-in audience of kids around the world who are familiar with this brand.
“So it’s got that, and it’s being made by Illumination who have done some of my favourite animations over the years.
“Who wouldn’t want to party with that band? It’s two ginormous brands meeting together in a perfect storm of entertainment.”
The new flick is the latest in the trend of video game adaptations – following on from the ‘Uncharted’ movie and ‘The Last of Us’ TV series – and Jack thinks that the influence of video games will be felt on both the big and small screens for years to come.
The ‘School of Rock’ star said: “In the future, film and television are going to keep going towards using the stories told in video games, because that market seems to be growing and growing exponentially.
“The TV and film industries seem to be seeing a little bit of shrinkage. It will be interesting to see what happens to the entertainment industry over the next 20 to 30 years but I think we will be seeing more storytelling from the gaming universe.”

Paul O’Grady statue petition hits 115k signatures

OHMYGOSSIP — A petition to erect a statue of Paul O’Grady has been signed more than 115,000 times following his passing.
The late TV star passed away last week aged 67, and fans of the ‘For the Love of Dogs’ presenter are keen to see a permanent reminder of Paul put up in his hometown of Birkenhead, Merseyside.
Kieran Gabriel, who started the change.org petition, wrote on the site: “Paul O’Grady passed away suddenly on March 28th and it only feels right to honour the life of such a great human being by immortalising him in statue form, in his hometown of Birkenhead.
“Paul has left a huge legacy with his trailblazing work as a drag artist, social and political causes, LGBT rights and of course, his love of animals.
“This is a petition to the Wirral Council, who must surely take stock of the huge outpouring of love in the wake of Paul’s passing. Liverpool has Cilla, Birkenhead deserves Paul.”
Wirral Council have confirmed they are “working on” honouring Paul as part of their Borough of Culture events next year.
A spokesperson for the council said in a statement to the Liverpool ECHO newspaper: “It has been wonderful to see such an outpouring of love and warmth for Paul O’Grady following the sad news of his death, along with the many donations directed to Battersea Cats and Dogs Home, a charity we all know from his television work was close to his heart.
“At the moment here in Wirral we are working on honouring Paul’s life, career and the causes he championed, including through a fitting celebration as part of our Borough of Culture events next year.”
This comes after more than £233,000 was donated to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in memory of Paul.
He was an ambassador for the animal rescue service, and shot 11 series of his ITV show ‘For the Love of Dogs’ there.
At the time of writing, £233,635 has been pledged to the Paul O’Grady Tribute Fund.
A message on the page reads: “Battersea joins the nation in mourning the loss of Paul O’Grady – an entertainment legend and much-loved Ambassador to our charity.
“We’d like to extend our deepest sympathies to Paul’s family and friends. To millions Paul O’Grady is the popular TV and radio presenter and comedian who lit up their screens with his razor-sharp humour and perpetual generosity and warmth.
“Battersea will forever remember Paul as a devoted animal lover with the biggest heart, who fell in love with every dog he met at our centres.
“Paul will always be associated with Battersea, and we are truly saddened to have lost such a true friend and huge part of our charity.
“Paul loved Battersea so much and we cannot thank him enough for everything he did for our charity and for rescue animals worldwide.
“We will forever be indebted to him for his endless generosity and support.”

First Dates star Laura Tott pregnant

OHMYGOSSIP — First Dates’ star Laura Tott is pregnant.

Laura’s sister Rebecca Tott commented: “I *cannot wait* to be an auntie to the little dumpling that’s growing inside of you.”
The star has kept the identity of her husband under wraps.
Laura revealed in June 2021 she had got engaged, and she was “absolutely over the moon”.
Sharing a picture of her ring, she wrote: “Well I better get planning that hen do [ring emoji] always keep my relationship off social media and I love that it’s just for me, but wanted to share this with you all cos I’m absolutely over the moon. Hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine (sic)”
The 26-year-old star has kept her relationship largely private, so didn’t picture her then-fiance in the image.
But she appeared to have got engaged in Portugal, as she shared a photo on her Instagram Stories captioned “Portuguese nights”.
Laura also thanked her fans for their well wishes, but admitted she couldn’t reply because she had indulged in “too many beers”.
She wrote: “Thank you so so much for all the messages, I can’t reply cos I’ve had too many beers but I’ve read every single one (sic)”

Aquaman 2 to hit cinemas 5 days early

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Aquaman 2’ is to be released slightly earlier.
Warner Bros. has shifted the release date of the DC sequel, ‘Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom’, starring Jason Momoa as the titular superhero, five days forward to December 20, Deadline reports.
The much-delayed flick was originally meant to hit cinemas on Christmas Day 2022.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the visual effects team was unable to carry out the required post-production.
It was then given a new date of March 17, 2023, before moving to Christmas Day 2023.
Meanwhile, Momoa recently said he is confident Aquaman will feature in the revamped DC Universe.
The 43-year-old actor doesn’t think it will be his final outing despite James Gunn and Peter Safran now at the helm of DC Studios as they lead the DCU into a new era with the character not included in the first round of new titles announced in January.
He told Total Film magazine: “I absolutely think Aquaman will be involved in the DCU. It’s on, bro – there’s no one bigger than Aquaman!
“But, also, I hope people are excited to see the new one. It’s fun. I really enjoy doing comedy. There’s some really funny stuff with Patrick Wilson.
“I really adore him. We had a great time working together. It’s like we’re brothers. There’s a lot of cool stuff happening in this one.”
Earlier this year, Momoa confirmed he had met with Gunn and Safran after they took over the studios late last year, while there have been rumours he could ditch Aquaman in favour of playing a different superhero called Lobo.
He told Variety: “The beautiful thing [about ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’] is me and my partner wrote the first treatment for it and it was about a 55-page treatment, and a lot of it has to deal with me talking to the U.N. about what’s happening with the melting ice caps.
“There’s no far off galaxy coming to destroy us or aliens from another place. It’s us ruining our planet. We need to get it together and save our home.
“I’ll always be Aquaman. Ain’t anyone coming in there and taking s***. There might be some other characters, too. I can play other things, too. I can be funny and savage and charming.”

Jack Black confirms School of Rock cast reunion for 20-year reunion

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Black has confirmed the ‘School of Rock’ cast will reunite for a 20-year reunion.
The 53-year-old actor is planning to join forces with his co-stars from the 2003 comedy classic – in which he plays fraudulent substitute teacher and wannabe rock star Dewey Finn – but didn’t confirm whether it would be for another movie, or a get-together.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “All those kids – dig this – they were 10 years old when we made that movie and now they’re all, like, 30.
“We’re gonna get together and have a 20-year anniversary. We like to jam.
“I’m looking forward to seeing all of the grownups from ‘School of Rock’.”
Black’s comments come after he hinted at a sequel to ‘School of Rock’ in January.
During a joint interview with his Tenacious D bandmate Kyle Gass, Jack admitted he was considering both ‘School of Rock 2’ and a sequel to the pair’s 2006 cult musical flick, ‘Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny’.
He said on SiriusXM: “Yup. Both of them. Breaking news. We’re thinking about doing both of those.”
Glass then quipped: “It’s a hybrid – a school of D.”
In 2012, Black claimed ‘School of Rock’ director Richard Linklater had a different vision for a second movie to his, but he didn’t rule out a sequel entirely.
He explained to The New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column at the time: “I wouldn’t want to do it without the original writer and director, and we never all got together and saw eye-to-eye on what the script would be.
“It was not meant to be, unfortunately. But never say never.”

Ken Bruce’s PopMaster heading to More4: ‘I can’t wait to get started’

OHMYGOSSIP — Ken Bruce is to present a TV version of his iconic radio quiz ‘PopMaster’ on More4.
The 72-year-old radio DJ made his debut on Greatest Hits Radio this week following his departure from BBC Radio 2 after more than 30 years, and he admitted there will be “added pressure” from the TV cameras when ‘PopMaster’ – which has been around since 1998 – heads to the small screen on the Channel 4 sister channel.
He said: “After all these years we are finally bring ‘PopMaster’ to the telly where we’ll be challenging music lovers from around the country to not only recall a range of facts and stats about chart toppers and beyond over the decades, but to do so under the glare of studio lights and with the added pressure of television cameras.
“I can’t wait to get started – and find out whether I might have a face for TV after all!”
The six-part show will see contestants go head-to-head to answer 10 questions about pop music from the 1950s to the present day.
The victor will then have to name three UK Singles Chart hits from one artist or group in 10 seconds in the Three-in-Ten round, and the winner will land a place in a grand finale, which will decide the overall series champion.
Jo Street, Channel 4’s Head of Features Daytime, said: “I feel like it has been my mission in life to bring ‘PopMaster’ to the telly so I am beyond thrilled to announce that the wonderful Ken Bruce is bringing his iconic and much-loved format from radio to television, finding a home on More4.
“Fans will now be able to go from shouting answers at their speakers to shouting them at the screen. I can’t wait to play along!”
Last month, Ken insisted he has “absolutely” no ill will towards the BBC following his Radio 2 exit.
After being asked by Lorraine Kelly on her ITV1 chat show ’Lorraine’ if he and the BBC had any “hard feelings”, the 72-year-old broadcaster said: “Absolutely not”.
Lorraine deemed it “great” that he decided on a new frontier professionally, and Ken responded: “That’s right, there is a time in your life where you say, ‘Do I keep on doing this forever and ever and watch a slow decline?’
“Or, do you give yourself a kick up the backside and try something new.
“I mean, it’s not brand new because I’m more or less doing the same thing, but it’s a different environment and a commercial station which I’ve never worked on before.
“So it will be a little challenge but enough of a challenge to keep me on my toes.”

Ross Kemp’s acting return more nerve-wracking than filming hard-hitting documentaries

OHMYGOSSIP — Ross Kemp’s acting return was more nerve-wracking than filming some of his hard-hitting documentaries.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star has an increased “fear of failure” since he returned to acting for the first time for seven years in upcoming Channel 5 drama ‘Blindspot’, because he insists there were “no expectations” on him when he first joined the BBC soap.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, he said: “Really honestly, it was more dangerous than diving or jumping off that boat.
“I was more nervous, for sure. Because I think, when I first walked on the set of ‘EastEnders’ in 1989 with Steve McFadden, there were no expectations.
“We just wanted to get out there and do it and we were young.
“I’m a lot older now, I’ve been around a bit, and I think there’s greater expectation.
“Or your fear of failure increases as you get older.”
In January, Ross – who is best known for playing EastEnders’ Grant Mitchell, who he last portrayed in 2016 – revealed he is to appear in ‘Blindspot’ as Police Detective Tony Warden.
Ross told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “My first day on set [at ‘Blindspot’] was Saturday evening and I was just as nervous as I was, in fact more nervous, than when I first walked on to the set of ‘EastEnders’ in 1989.
“I was extremely nervous and didn’t sleep very much the night before.
“I was 24/25 then, I was confident and cocky and now I’m a wiser and older man.
“I was extremely nervous and didn’t sleep very much the night before. It is a wonderful cast but working with actors again has been quite a leap for me and I know I’m a very lucky man.”

Laura Hamilton involved in car crash while filming A Place in the Sun

OHMYGOSSIP — Laura Hamilton was involved in a car crash this week while filming ‘A Place in the Sun’.
The 40-year-old TV presenter was relieved nobody was hurt in the “minor incident”, which occurred when she was heading to a property in Spain to film part of the series, but admitted it left her feeling “pretty rubbish”.
She wrote on Instagram: “Happiness… When you love people. When you love travel. When you love property. When you love your job! I am always grateful…
But let’s be honest life isn’t alway rosy, even if it seems so… The start of this week actually got off to a pretty s***** start… unfortunately (and for the first time ever abroad) I had a car accident as I was on the way to our first property… Before anything is over dramatised, it was a minor incident and more importantly no one was hurt. However, I still felt pretty rubbish… (sic)”
Despite the incident, Laura put on a brave face for her house-hunters on the show, which helps people to find their dream holiday home in the sun.
She added: “However, I think it’s important in life to always focus on the positive and whilst I felt rubbish, I had to keep smiling. I had to ensure my house hunters had the best time with me and lots of fun whilst we looked for their dream holiday home.
“The search isn’t over yet but I think it’s been a successful one so far and we have certainly had a lot of laughs.
“Thank you as always to the team on the road and back in Blighty that make this all possible!”

Priyanka Chopra Jonas cast in Heads of State

OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra Jonas has joined the cast of ‘Heads of State’.
The 40-year-old actress is to star alongside Idris Elba and John Cena in the Amazon Studios action movie.
Plot details are being kept under wraps but the film has been described as ‘Air Force One’ meets ‘Midnight Run’.
Ilya Naishuller is directing from a script by Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec. The initial draft was written by Harrison Query and is based on his idea.
Filming on the movie will begin in May.
Peter Safran and John Rickard are producing for the Safran Company with Elba, Cena and Marcus Viscidi serving as executive producers.
Priyanka enjoyed huge success in her native India before making the switch to Hollywood and explained that she left Bollywood because she had “beef with people” in the industry.
Speaking on the ‘Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard’ podcast, Priyanka explained: “I was being pushed into a corner in the industry.
“I had people not casting me for reasons … I had beef with people. I was tired of the politics. I was just like, ‘I need a break.'”
Priyanka – who is married to pop star Nick Jonas – signed a record deal in the US in 2011 and revealed that the move opened doors for her.
‘The Matrix Resurrections’ star said: “This music thing gave me an opportunity to go into another part of the world, not crave for the movies I wanted to get. But I was required to schmooze certain clubs and cliques of people and it would require, like, grovelling and I had worked for a long time by then that I didn’t feel like I wanted to do it.
“So when this music thing came, I was like f*** it. I’m gonna go to America, and Interscope was amazing. They threw the building at me.”

Elizabeth Debicki to star in MaXXXine

OHMYGOSSIP — Elizabeth Debicki is to star in ‘MaXXXine’.
The 32-year-old actress is among a host of stars who will join Mia Goth in the third movie of Ti West’s ‘X’ horror series.
Lily Collins, Halsey, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon are all attached to feature in the flick – which will start shooting in Los Angeles this month.
West is once again writing and directing the movie and is producing alongside Goth, Jacob Jaffke, Kevin Turen and Harrison Kreiss.
According to sources, the new film will deal with the dangerous world of underground filmmaking.
Character details are being kept secret but it is known that Esposito is playing an agent for adult film and Z-list actors while Debicki will portray a movie director.
Monaghan and Cannavale are LAPD detectives while Bacon is playing a private investigator.
The previous movies in the ‘X’ franchise are critically acclaimed and legendary director Martin Scorsese lavished praise on ‘Pearl’ when it was released last year.
In a review sent to A24, the ‘Goodfellas’ filmmaker said: “Ti West’s movies have a kind of energy that is so rare these days, powered by a pure, undiluted love for cinema.
“You feel it in every frame. A prequel to ‘X’ made in a diametrically opposite cinematic register (think 50s Scope colour melodramas), ‘Pearl’ makes for a wild, mesmerising, deeply – and I mean deeply – disturbing 102 minutes.
“West and his muse and creative partner Mia Goth really know how to toy with their audience… before they plunge the knife into our chests and start twisting.”

Coleen Nolan: I’ve was bullied into going on Celebrity Bake Off

OHMYGOSSIP — Coleen Nolan has joked she was “bullied” into taking part in ‘The Great Celebrity Bake Off’.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist is among the latest celebrities taking part in the all-star version of ‘The Great British Bake Off’ for Stand up to Cancer this weekend, and while she was keen to raise awareness for the disease – which three of her sisters have battled – Coleen feared she might make a fool out of herself.
Coleen, 58, told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I literally look at toast and it burns, I don’t know how to do it. I said to my manager ‘You’re going to have to bully me into this’, as my initial reaction was to say no.”
But the agony aunt – who will appear on Easter Sunday’s episode (09.04.23) alongside Ellie Taylor, Joe Thomas and Paddy McGuinness – felt great pride after appearing on the show and giving it her all.
She added: “When I did it, I got so into it. I really wanted to do my best.
“I was really proud I’d done it, because it’s one of those, ‘Feel the fear and do it anyway’.”
While judge Dame Prue Leith was “delightful”, she said of Paul Hollywood: “I thought he might be nicer because we’re celebrities doing it for charity. But he wasn’t.”
Coleen admitted she was a nervous wreck the night before and found the tasks particularly challenging because she’s vegan.
She said: “The night before I was telling myself, ‘You’re an idiot. Why did you agree to do this? You’re dying of nerves and you’re going to be rubbish, and you’re going to make a fool of yourself.’
“It’s strict. I thought they’d give a bit more leeway with the celebrity one, but they don’t – they really stick to time and you don’t really get any help.
“I think that’s part of it, isn’t it? When it goes wrong, it’s very funny.
“One of the challenges, I didn’t do too badly. I surprised myself really. But one of the challenges was an absolute disaster and I still laugh about it now.”

Gemma Collins and Vicky Pattison among stars for ‘mystery’ new Channel 4 show

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins is among the celebrities taking part in E4’s “mystery” new show.
The ‘TOWIE’ star is expected to be joined by former ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ winner Vicky Pattison and radio DJ Nick Grimshaw on the programme, after they were spotted outside the London studio where the show is being filmed.
A TV insider told The Sun newspaper’s TV Biz column: “The series will be the first of its kind, it’s incredibly snidey – but bosses believe it will be a hit.
“The celebrities involved have enjoyed using their experiences on reality shows to good effect, bidding to get the result they all need.
“It’s like two games are going on at once, one inside the house, the other between the celebs.”
‘Alan Must Win’ will feature a bunch of celebrities living inconspicuously next to a ‘Big Brother’-style house full of contestants eager to win a prize.
However, the deceived contestants don’t know that the game has been rigged in favour of Alan to win.
Celebrities will have complete control of the format, introducing twists and turns in the game.
E4 boss Mel Bezalel added: “At E4, we’re completely obsessed with reality TV which drives viewing on All 4. We’re excited about taking the genre in a completely new direction.
“This is a show that engages celebrities in an entirely different way, using their unique skillset and experiences to manipulate gameplay – with entertaining and surprising results.
“This is a TV event not to miss. We can’t wait, and neither can ‘Alan’. Whoever Alan is, he’s going to have a blast.”
