Brenda Edwards reveals most ‘starstruck’ Loose Women moment: ‘I was told not to touch her!’

OHMYGOSSIP — Brenda Edwards was “starstruck” when she met Janet Street-Porter on ‘Loose Women’.
The 54-year-old singer joined the ITV1 lunchtime chat show as a regular panelist in 2019 and recalled being excited to meet broadcast legend Janet – who has appeared on the show since 2011 – because she is such a “strong woman” but was “pleasantly surprised” when Janet reached out for a hug despite her infamous frosty TV demeanour.
She told Woman’s Own magazine: “I’ve had a couple of starstruck moments, and one was when American pop star will.i.am appeared on the show – that was absolutely amazing! The other was Janet [Street-Porter]. I used to watch ‘Loose Women’ before I became one, and I still do.
“I come from a family full of strong women, including my grandma and my aunts, so Janet is a big icon in our household. Plus, I’m quite a feely person and on my first visit to Loose Women I was told, ‘Do not touch Janet’, so I was pleasantly surprised when she gave me a big hug.”
Meanwhile, Brenda – who shot to fame as a contestant on the second series of ‘The X Factor’ and has since starred in musicals such as ‘Hairspray’ and ‘We Will Rock You’ – went on to admit she was also surprised to learn that there are some ladies on the panel who will only sit on a certain seat at the desk.
She said: “I was surprised when I started on ‘Loose Women’ that there were certain seats that you can’t sit in. They are all the same, but in the studio setting, the anchor is always in seat one, Coleen [Nolan] will always be in seat two and Janet [Street- Porter] is always in seat three, but I’m not fussed – I’ll sit on anything!”

The 51-year-old TV star – who recently appeared on ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’ – is known for appearing on the Channel 4 dating show ‘First Dates, in which people of every age try to find love.
Despite the wide range of ages on the show, Fred emphasised that everyone is young at heart.

“We have young, middle-aged and old people, but we’re all the same inside – I’m 51 but I feel 18!
“So, we can learn a lot about ourselves by watching, plus we are very nosy and want to know what’s going on in other people’s heads.”
Fred, who has hosted the programme since 2013, then explained that he felt it was his responsibility to ensure his guests felt “relaxed” during their time on the show, and revealed that most of the people on ‘First Dates’ are not “comfortable” with dating.
He said: “Many of them are not comfortable dating, siting in front of another person, opening up and being vulnerable.
“So, it’s up to me as the maitre’d to make them feel relaxed.
We are very good at what we do. We are serious and judicious when arranging the dates and we want to create an experience where people believe they are getting the best service.”
Fred, is planning to tie the knot with his partner – who is only known as Fruitcake in public – later this year and explained that after meeting her in London, he knew she was the one for him

“It reminded me of the quote, ‘When I saw you I fell in love and you smiled because you knew.’ That’s how I felt.
“We started to chat and agreed to meet that evening. It was like a blind date because we than had to go through getting to know each other.
“It’s all about making a connection with somebody and wanting to spend the rest of your life with them.”

‘I could’ve died!’ Spencer Matthews reveals ‘abusive drinking’ nearly cost him his life and wife

OHMYGOSSIP — Spencer Matthews “could’ve died” during the height of his “abusive drinking” habit.
The former ‘Made in Chelsea’ star would sometimes down ten pints or a bottle of whiskey a day when the issue was at its worst, and he has credited his wife Vogue Williams with helping him to “break the habit”.
Speaking to Vogue on the ‘Taboo Talk’ podcast, he said: “It’s not like I just fancied giving up drinking.
“I could have lost you, I could have lost work, I could have died – not to be overly dramatic about it, but that’s the way it was heading.”
The 35-year-old star admitted he would sometimes go to bed intoxicated, and believes his journey to stop excessive drinking would’ve been “more difficult” if he didn’t have Vogue.
He said: “One night, when I was alone, I had a bottle of whiskey and struggled to get myself to bed. I was hammered drunk. I remember waking up the next day and thought ‘I don’t need this in my life’.
“If I wasn’t married to someone who didn’t have a great relationship with alcohol, as in you don’t really like it, then my journey would have been more difficult.”
Spencer still drinks occasionally, but admitted he is sober “most of the time now”.
He said: “I feel very fortunate to have found that level of balance.
“Before, having one glass would have turned into ten and then I’d be out all night.
“I’m sober most of the time now. I’ve gone from problem-drinking on a daily basis to having a drink if I feel like it very irregularly.
“I no longer see it as a problem. I have great balance in my life.”
Spencer and Vogue – who have three kids, son Theo, five, daughter Gigi, three, and son Otto, 20 months, together – married in 2018.

Jasper Carrott to make TV comeback in game show?

OHMYGOSSIP — Jasper Carrott could make a TV comeback in ‘Taskmaster’.
Alex Horne, who created and co-hosts the Channel 4 comedy panel gameshow, has put the comic at the top of his celebrity wanted list for a new series.
He told the ‘Always Be Comedy’ podcast: “There are a few old-school people who I’d love to have, like Jasper Carrott.”
Alex would also love to recruit Joe Pasquale as one of the five comedians on a new series of the programme.
He added: “He’s not chasing things [career-wise], but I think Joe Pasquale would do it and I think he would be great.
“But it’s a big conversation, because if you’re having Pasquale, you’re not having someone else and it’s ten episodes.”
Jasper still performs stand-up comedy, but is no longer a regular on TV as he was in the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s.
He presented daytime game show ‘Golden Balls’ from 2007 to 2009, and fronted sketch show ‘Canned Carrott’ from 1990 to 1995.
Jasper has also portrayed fictional characters, starring as Bob Louis in TV series ‘The Detectives’, and he appeared as Colin Craddock sitcom ‘All About Me’.
The show, which ran from 2002 to 2004, was about a multicultural family living in Birmingham, where Jasper was born.
Meera Syal portrayed Colin’s wife Rupinder Craddock in the first series, and Nina Wadia later portrayed the character in series two and three.
Like Jasper, Joe is best known for being a comedian, as well as an actor and TV presenter.
He previously won the fourth series of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2004 and he finished seventh in the eighth series of ‘Dancing on Ice’ in 2013.

‘I want to do a Marvel movie!’ Steven Yeun ‘sorry’ for dropping out of Thunderbolts

OHMYGOSSIP — Steven Yeun is “sorry” for dropping out of ‘Thunderbolts’.
The 40-year-old actor’s involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film had been reported early last year, and while his casting was never officially confirmed by Marvel, he had to pull out this week due to scheduling issues.
The star has now admitted he redrafted an email several times to ensure he could “convey the sincerity” of how sorry he was to depart the motion picture.
He told Variety: “I think for me, time passing and things shifting kind of pulled me out of it.
“It took a lot of drafts on email to make sure that I conveyed the sincerity of how sorry I was to have to back out.
“I wanna do a Marvel movie.”
When asked what Marvel film he would love to land a role in, he said: “I think it’s too early to say that. I probably [annoyed] too many people leaving, so I’m just gonna say, ‘Thank you for having me.’
“I have some ideas. But I heard if you put it out there, you’ll never get it, so I’ll keep it close to my chest.”
Yeun has tipped director Jake Schreier to do an “incredible job” on ‘Thunderbolts’.
He said: “But Jake [Schreier], I know, is going to do an incredible job.”
‘Thunderbolts’ had been set to begin filming last summer but was pushed back to this year due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
It is thought the filming delay played a big part in Yeun’s departure from the project.
The ‘Walking Dead’ star previously explained that joining the MCU wasn’t on his “bucket list”, and the big appeal of the project was the opportunity to work with filmmaker Schreier again after their collaboration on the TV series ‘Beef’.
Yeun previously told Empire magazine: “I don’t know if it was explicitly on my bucket list. It was more the story, getting to work with Jake Schreier again, who directed ‘Beef’, and what his intentions were.”
The star had been due to feature in the blockbuster alongside Florence Pugh, David Harbour and Sebastian Stan.

Amber Heard thanks fans for ‘overwhelming support’ as Aquaman 2 hits cinemas

OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Heard has thanked fans for their “overwhelming support” as ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ hits screens.
The 37-year-old star has shared behind-the-scenes snaps from her time working on the long-awaited DC sequel, including a rare picture of her feeding her two-year-old daughter Oonagh Paige in the back of a car.
She captioned the Instagram post: “After all this time, Aquaman 2 made its splash (sorry, it’s too easy)
“Thank you to all of my fans for the overwhelming support and love in Mera’s AQ return. Thank you so much.”
Amber is back as Mera alongside Jason Momoa’s titular character and previously admitted there is a “tonne of pressure” on the flick to have blockbuster success.
The ‘Rum Diary’ actress – who embarked on a fresh chapter in her career after her highly-public defamation trial against ex-husband Johnny Depp in 2022 – previously admitted that while she is “honoured” to have played a role in the DC world, she relished getting to work on a “passion project” in the indie film ‘In The Fire’.
Speaking to Deadline, Amber said: “There’s a tonne of pressure on these big franchise movies, with millions and millions of dollars at stake, and compromises are part of trying to make it the most successful thing it can be. Then on the other end of the spectrum is a small indie film like ‘In The Fire’, a work of art and work of love, with nowhere near the same resources, and so there are compromises there. The best luck you can have as an actor is to be able to balance both.”
Amber loved getting “dirty” with her co-stars and the director to “breathe life” into ‘In The Fire’.
She plays Grace, a doctor from New York, who “travels to a remote plantation in the 1890s to care for a disturbed boy who seems to have inexplicable abilities.”
She added: “‘Aquaman’, that franchise and the machinery behind it, I’m very honoured to be a part of that. And then there are these small passion projects like ‘In The Fire’, where I’m proud to have gotten to know the filmmaker and the cast, and we got dirty together, to breathe life into this story. There’s something cool about that, and I think success is an actor who is able to have both those things.”
Amber insists her career won’t be tarnished by the trials and tribulations of her personal life.
She told the publication: “I think I’ve earned respect for that to be its own thing.
“That’s substantial enough. What I have been through, what I’ve lived through, doesn’t make my career at all. And it’s certainly not gonna stop my career. So let’s talk about this movie.”
The former couple was embroiled in a six-week trial over a piece Amber wrote in 2018 about being a victim of domestic violence, with the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor, 60, ultimately winning over $10 million in damages after winning all three of his defamation claims while she was awarded $2 million after winning one of her three countersuit claims.

‘I’d take a swing at that’: Chad Stahelski hopes to make a Star Wars movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Chad Stahelski is keen to direct a ‘Star Wars’ film.
The ‘John Wick’ filmmaker is a huge fan of the iconic sci-fi franchise and explained that he has ideas in mind for a picture of his own.
Speaking to Josh Horowitz on the ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast, Chad said: “I’m a ‘Star Wars’ guy. The first ‘Star Wars’ changed my life path.
“Maybe someday out there, Disney if you’re listening, hit me in a couple of years. I have a couple of takes for ‘Star Wars’. I’d take a swing at that, see if Disney could survive me.”
Chad has only got behind the camera on the four ‘John Wick’ movies so far and explained that he is reluctant to work on other franchises as he would have to make creative compromises.
He said: “I’ve been asked a lot about, ‘Why do you do John Wicks? Don’t you want to try something else?’
“Yes of course I do, but given the choice I’ve had and the parameters that were presented to me, as far as those opportunities went, I felt like I could do more and bring something more, and do more of what I want, and do the fights and the anime and the action more my way by doing (‘John Wick’). Why work within somebody else’s parameters of what I feel to be a duel or mythology when I can create.”
Chad admits that there is a part of him that struggles to say no when he is offered the chance to make a movie.
The former stuntman said: “It is a big ego dump when you’re like, ‘Alright, do I think I can take them?’
“I still have a little bit of a competitor mindset left in me. I’m going, ‘No that’s cool and I’m very flattered and I’m very honoured’, but at the same time I want to take a swing. It’s like Rocky. I gotta know.”

Margot Robbie pours cold water on Barbie sequel

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie has played down the prospect of a ‘Barbie’ sequel.
The 33-year-old actress played the title role in last summer’s hit blockbuster and explained that so much went into the picture that a follow-up isn’t a priority for her or director Greta Gerwig at this moment in time.
Margot – who served as a producer on the film for her LuckyChap Entertainment banner – told Variety: “It’s funny, that knee-jerk reaction in this day and age for everyone to immediately ask about a sequel. I don’t think it was like that 20 years ago. This wasn’t designed to be a trilogy.
“Everything went into ‘Barbie’ – and that’s how Greta works. She finishes every movie on empty, feeling like she could never make another movie because she put everything she had into that one. So I don’t know what it would take to fill that cup up again for her. Or for us.”
The ‘Babylon’ actress explained that she would prefer to make other movies that replicate the impact that ‘Barbie’ has had on the film industry.
Margot said: “We want to make more films that have the effect that ‘Barbie’ has. I don’t know if it has to be ‘Barbie 2’. Why can’t it be another big, original, bold idea where we get an amazing filmmaker, a big budget to play with, and the trust of a huge conglomerate behind them to go and really play? I want to do that.”
The Australian star has produced flicks including ‘Promising Young Woman’ and ‘Saltburn’ for LuckyChap and explained that she has a desire to get behind the camera and direct in the future.
Asked when she could helm a film, Margot said: “I don’t know. The tricky thing is, as much as I say I’m strict about saying no as a producer, I also get so excited with all the things that I could produce that it ends up taking all my time.
“And as an actor, I get to work with so many brilliant directors and watch them do it – it’s like having a front-row seat to the best master class in the world. So it’s really tempting to keep doing that. But directing is a dear ambition of mine.”

Jack Black joins Minecraft cast

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack Black has joined the cast of ‘Minecraft’.
The actor and singer is set to appear in the upcoming video game adaptation – which features Jason Momoa as the lead – and has seemingly confirmed the news.
Deadline claimed he has been cast as a character called Steve, although the film’s plot details are still being kept under wraps with writing credits yet to be revealed.
Following the report, the Tenacious D rocker shared a photo on Instagram of himself reading a ‘Minecraft Basics for Dummies’ book.
He captioned the wrote: “An actor prepares.”
The movie is also set to star Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks and Sebastian Eugene Hansen, while ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ director Jared Hess – who worked with Black on 2006’s ‘Nacho Libre’ – will be at the helm.
The project is being backed by Legendary and Warner Bros with a planned April 2025 release date.
In the past, the likes of Peter Sollett, Rob McElhenney and Shawn Levy have all been in talks to direct before Hess got on board.
It’s still unclear what the movie will actually be about, but Deadline added that production is set to begin soon in New Zealand.
‘Minecraft’ launched in 2011 and the sandbox game – which lets players make 3D worlds using colourful blocks – has gone onto become one of the best selling titles of all time, with over 140 million monthly users.
It’s not the first video game film Black will be involved in either, after he previously appeared in ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’ and both of the new ‘Jumanji’ movies, while he has been cast in ‘Borderlands’.
Meanwhile, he is also confirmed to be reprising the role of Po in DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming sequel ‘Kung Fu Panda 4’.

Rob Lowe is still not over losing the lead in Footloose to Kevin Bacon

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Lowe is still not over losing the lead role of Ren McCormack in ‘Footloose’ to Kevin Bacon.
The 59-year-old actor was left gutted when his knee “exploded” trying to nail a key dance move in the 1984 musical classic.
The producers then decided they needed to hire a professional dancer, only to cast Kevin Bacon, 65, a week later.
He told USA Today: “The thing that’s awful about it was, I was the guy. I was going to get this part. I just had to do the dance, which was to a Styx song, by the way. Not helpful. But it ended with that drop-to-your-knees slide across the floor. My knee just exploded. They took me out on a stretcher. As they were wheeling me out, the producers were like, ‘We’re going have to get a real professional dancer.’ A week into my rehab, I read they cast Kevin Bacon. That’s when I learned what Hollywood was about.”
To add insult to injury, Kevin told him he didn’t stand a chance of landing the role.
Asked if Kevin is “thankful”, Rob replied: “There are two ways I’ve been very helpful to other actors’ careers. Blowing out my knee really helped Kevin Bacon, and turning down ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ really helped Patrick Dempsey. I spoke to Kevin about it. He told me, ‘You wouldn’t have gotten it, anyway.'”
Meanwhile, Rob previously admitted he is “grateful” for everything that has happened in his life.
The ‘West Wing’ star struggled with addiction issues in the 1980s, but after being clean for more than three decades, he has “no regrets” about his wild past and admitted he was ready to move on and lead a quieter family life.
He told PEOPLE magazine: “I’m happy I lived the life that I lived because I have no regrets, but I was super ready to coach Little League, carve pumpkins on Halloween, read books and serve hot lunch on Wednesdays. Up until I turned 26, I spent all my time investing in my career.
“From 26 on, I’ve invested in me; my spirituality, my recovery, my marriage, my family. A lot of it has been, excuse me, f—ing hard. And no one has a perfect life… but I’m grateful for all of it.”

Taskmaster confirms new Champion of Champions lineup

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Taskmaster’ is bringing back Dara O Briain, Sophie Duker and more for a new ‘Champion of Champions’ series.
The upcoming run on Channel 4 will see five constants returning on January 14 for another shot at the pleasing Greg Davies and his assistant – and show creator – Little Alex Horne.
Winners of four of the last five series will take part, as Dara and Sophie compete with Morgana Robinson and Sarah Kendall.
In a twist, series 15 winner Mae Martin was unable to take part due to filming commitments in the United States.
Instead, their fellow contestant Kiell Smith-Bynoe will step in, and the comedian is backing the ‘Ghosts’ actor to do them proud.
Mae said: “I am absolutely fuming at the fact that I am unable to participate in Taskmaster’s Champion of Champions.
“I would love nothing more than to fight for the title of ultimate champion and spend another week of my life being ridiculed by Greg.
“I am, however, confident in the choice to send Kiell to fight on my behalf.
“He is an agile and profoundly competitive young man, and also much much cooler and funnier than me, so we should have it in the bag.”
And while Kiell lost to Mae last year, they are still hoping for the best.
Mae added: “Good luck, Kiell. I am holding my breath from the US and rooting for you.”
The series and air date was officially confirmed on Tuesday (02.01.24) after Lenny Rush, 14, won the ‘Taskmaster’s New Year Treat’ special, which also featured Deborah Meaden, Steve Backshall, Zoe Ball and Kojey Radical.
The most recent regular series aired in autumn, and saw Sam Campbell crowned the winner with Sue Perkins, Susan Wokoma, Julian Clary and Lucy Beaumont making up the rest of the cast.
Series 17 will also follow later in 2024, although a date and cast is yet to be confirmed.

‘He’s too funny’: Corrie’s Sally Carman couldn’t film regularly with her co-star husband Joe Duttine

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’s Sally Carman admits it would be “horrendous” to work with her co-star husband Joe Duttine.
The pair met on the set of the ITV soap six years ago, but Sally (Abi Franklin) admits Joe (Tim Metcalfe) makes her laugh too much for them to have regular scenes together.
She told OK!: “It would be awful!
“Obviously, I love my husband dearly, but to work with him would be horrendous – he’s too funny! I do tend to watch Joe’s stuff [in Corrie] at home but sometimes it’s hard to get into it because he’s already told me everything about the filming of it.”
Abi’s latest storyline sees Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) causing havoc in her life.
Sally teased: “Abi’s an alley cat, she’d fight to the death would Abi – I don’t think anyone would stand a chance.
“Cassie can relate to Abi because of similar problems, and she wants what Abi’s got – but I’m not sure whether she wants Kevin [Webster, Michael Le Vell] or Abi’s life.”
This week, Cassie causes trouble by taking pictures of Abi meeting her old drug dealer Dean.
However, it turns out she was getting the drugs to try and help Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) who is not coping with his Motor Neurone Disease.
She continued: “At first, Abi has a lot to think about, whether she wants to help Paul or not.
“But in the end, she puts her feelings aside and thinks about who is most in need, so she does right by this young man in a really difficult, horrific position.”
Sally was concerned that Claire joining the show would change the dynamic between mechanics Abi, Kevin and Tyrone Dobbs, but she has slotted in well.
Sally said: “I can’t tell you how much I love working in that garage with Mike and Alan [Halsall, Tyrone Dobbs].”
Singing the praises of the former ‘Brookside’ star, she added: “So when someone else comes along, you hope it works out because it’s such a lovely dynamic. But Claire from day one has been absolutely joyful – she’s gorgeous, she’s funny and we all get on.”

Jordan Peele suggests that next film could be his ‘favourite movie’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jordan Peele has hinted that his next film could be his “favourite movie” if he makes it right.
The ‘Get Out’ director’s fourth outing behind the camera has been delayed by the Hollywood strikes but he explained that he is “psyched” to start production on the project later this year.
Speaking on the ‘Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend’ podcast, Jordan said: “This has been… obviously, it’s been an interesting year because the writer’s strike had had me in a state of listening, and that’s where I need to be.
“I do feel like my next project is very clear to me, and I’m psyched that I have another film that, you know, could be my favourite movie if I make it right.”
Peele has helmed the acclaimed horror films ‘Get Out’ and ‘Us’ and revealed that having a “grounded character” in his work is key to the success.
The 44-year-old filmmaker said: “Just like the comedy, the heightening, the pushing, the fantastical and the imagination, that becomes a certain type of project and exercise, but the exercise of grounding it is always what makes it work. That to me, in horror especially, is the hardest part.”
Jordan also explained why he would rather direct original movies than join money-spinning franchises.
He said: “Nothing is more rewarding than being able to lead the charge on something that comes from somewhere deep and to get the support of a team on something like that.
“I feel like if I were working off of someone else’s property, I would owe something to someone else. Besides that core piece of inspiration, it just doesn’t seem as fun to me… When faced with my very favourite properties, it still doesn’t beat the thing I haven’t written yet or the thing I haven’t figured out.”

Steven Yeun drops out of Thunderbolts due to scheduling issues

OHMYGOSSIP — Steven Yeun has dropped out of ‘Thunderbolts’.
The 40-year-old actor’s involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film had been reported early last year (although his casting was never officially confirmed by Marvel) but he has now pulled out due to scheduling issues after a delay to production on the movie.
‘Thunderbolts’ had been set to begin filming last summer but was pushed back to this year by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, which has ultimately led to Steven’s departure from the project.
The ‘Walking Dead’ star previously explained that joining the MCU wasn’t on his “bucket list” and the big appeal of the project was the opportunity to work with director Jake Schreier again after their collaboration on the TV series ‘Beef’.
Steven told Empire magazine: “I don’t know if it was explicitly on my bucket list. It was more the story, getting to work with Jake Schreier again, who directed ‘Beef’, and what his intentions were.”
Yeun – who had been due to feature in the blockbuster alongside Florence Pugh, David Harbour and Sebastian Stan – was thought to have had a significant role and explained how film chiefs had a “very clear” idea about what they wanted from his character.
He said: “The intentions of this particular character that they wanted me to play were very clear, and that’s what drew me to the film.”
‘Thunderbolts’ is slated for release in July 2025 although little is known about the plot of the movie – but the comics revolve around a group of villains who are sent on missions commissioned by the government.

Joe Lycett fears Travel Man will be scrapped

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Lycett is worried his ‘Travel Man’ show will be cancelled.
The 35-year-old comedian – who has appeared on several panel shows such as ‘8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown’ – helmed the Channel 4 travel programme after Richard Ayoade left in 2019, and has ventured to a plethora of global landmarks with the likes of Aisling Bea, Mo Gillian and Sarah Millican but is not sure that the series will be back.
During an interview on ‘The Adam Buxton Podcast’ in which the host asked if the programme was canned, Joe said: “It depends who you speak to.
“Channel 4 put a thing out a few months ago saying that they weren’t commissioning anything, really, until next year [2024] because of some unique circumstances that have created a fiscal issue.
“Basically, there’s a lot of shows where episodes have been filmed, they’ve been done.
“There’s episodes that I’ve filmed a year ago that still haven’t been put out.
“So, hopefully, it will go out early next year!”
Adam, who had filmed an episode for the show with Joe in March, emphasised that even if the programme was cancelled, he was glad he got to visit Prague with the comedian.
He said: “That was a fun time man. Whether it goes out or not, I loved that time in Prague.”
Joe agreed and admitted that he was “thrilled” Adam was keen to travel with him.
He said: “I loved doing that show and you’re a fabulous guest.
“I was so thrilled that you’d said yes to it because to, to me, I feel like you are a, a coup of a booking because you are clearly very selective over what you do.
“Or someone’s selective about what you do. But I was delighted and we had a brilliant time.”

Amy Dowden admits to feeling ‘bitter’ about 2023 as she reflects on ‘life-changing’ cancer diagnosis

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Dowden’s life has been “changed forever” because of her cancer diagnosis.
The 33-year-old dancer – who is best known as a professional on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023 shortly after she tied the knot with Benjamin Jones and has now completed treatment but admitted to feeling “bitter” when she saw others sharing their reflective social media posts on New Year’s Eve.
Speaking on ITV1’s ‘Lorraine’, she said: “On New Year’s Eve when you see everyone’s posts about the year, I was actually quite bitter. At the beginning of the year, I had so many lovely plans, I was on the ‘Strictly’ arena tour and I had my honeymoon planned with my husband, and then within a day when I got the news…your life doesn’t just change during the treatment or the surgery. It changes forever. It has changed me as a person. My parents, my family, I see the pain in their eyes, the worry.
“It affected all of us. my husband. My lovely dance school children. When I looked back, I had some amazing opportunities but I thought ‘I’ve had cancer, I’ve lost my hair, I’ve lost my boob. I’ve had sepsis, I’ve had blood clots, broke my foot’ and you’re watching everyone else share these lovely photos and I was jealous!”
In terms of 2024, Amy went on to share her hopes that she is back “doing what she loves” because she has “missed” it so much and admitted she would love to be paired up with ‘Wolverine’ actor Hugh Jackman, ‘Tipping Point’ host Ben Shephard or fellow Welsh star Luke Evans if any of them were to agree to a stint on the competition.
“I just want to get myself back on that dance floor and I would love, it would be amazing to win, but winning will just be being back with the gang doing what I love. I’ve missed it so much.”
