Kierston Wareing's addiction to Coke cost her 5 teeth

OHMYGOSSIP — Kierston Wareing’s teeth started to fall out after she got hooked on fizzy drinks.
The ‘EastEnders’ star – who was known for playing conniving Kirsty Branning in the long-running soap – used to guzzle down seven cans of Coca-Cola a day until five of her heavily-decayed gnashers came loose and dropped out of her mouth.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: “I was on two and a half litres of full fat Coca-Cola a day. But my teeth have been suffering, I had a warning a year ago, but I didn’t take it seriously. A year later and I have had five teeth come out.
“It’s been so painful, I’ve been waking up in agony and it is all down to Coca-Cola. I had an addiction to it. I would wake up in the middle of the night and I would crave a can of Coke. Then I would get up in the morning and the first thing I’d drink is a can of Coke.”
The 38-year-old actress has now decided to banish the acidic beverage from her diet but, rather than following a healthy plan, she’s now struck up an addiction to chocolate.
She explained: “The dentist thought I would be affected when I stopped drinking it, but I haven’t. They said: ‘What have you done differently?’ I have four Wispas a day now. They said: ‘You’re not addicted to Coke, you have a sugar addiction.’ ”
However, although the blonde beauty believes Coca-Cola was the reason her teeth fell out, a spokesperson for the brand is convinced her poor dental hygiene didn’t help.
The representative for the sugary drink told the publication: “The key to good dental health is to brush your teeth regularly. All food and drink that contains sugar and is acidic, including soft drinks, should be enjoyed in moderation.”

Benedict Cumberbatch has stiff hips

OHMYGOSSIP — Benedict Cumberbatch has “pretty stiff hips.”
The 40-year-old actor portrays Dr. Stephen Strange in the forthcoming fantasy sci-fi film ‘Doctor Strange’ but has admitted he never expected to land the energetic superhero role because he really struggles to move and jump around freely.
He explained: “I am not an action star and I have pretty stiff hips.”
However, despite his lack of lower body movement, bosses had their hearts set on Cumberbatch to play the lead role and even stalled the release date to suit him.
Speaking to the Radio Times magazine, he said: “The whole process has been very flattering because they’ve done something they would never do, which is stall the release so that I was available. ‘Hamlet’ was already in place and I didn’t want to give up the play. The ‘Sherlock’ people were going, ‘When are we going to film the fourth series?’ So there was a bit of bartering there but thank God it worked out and every side’s been patient. I was filming in Kathmandu two days after I finished ‘Hamlet’.”
Although he has plenty of experience under this belt when it comes to acting, the handsome star really struggled to making the unreal real for the audience.
He explained: “Doctor Strange lives in our world at the beginning, but he gets stretched over this bizarre light beyond our understanding, beyond imagining.
“How do you do that for an audience? […]
“When I grew up, Asterix was the comics character I read a lot, as was Tintin. It wasn’t that I wasn’t into superheros, they just never crossed my path. The first Tim Burton ‘Batman’ film was a good year in my life: we were all into it at school, had posters on the walls, listened to the Prince soundtrack and did imitations of Jack Nicholson.
“‘Shakespeare’ is heavily reliant on words, painting the image and the thought process. In ‘Doctor Strange’ there’s not so much pontificating on the meaning of life or the absurdity of it all. But there’s a fair old share of tragedy and comeuppance.”

Daisy Ridley teases Rey's parents will be revealed

OHMYGOSSIP — Daisy Ridley has teased ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ will explore Rey’s parentage.
The 24-year-old actress was quizzed as to whether she supports the fan theory that her character is related to Obi-Wan Kenobi because of her costume and similar personality traits, and suggested all will be revealed when the next installment of the franchise is released in 2017.
She said: “We will see in a year. Just sit tight on that question.”
The upcoming spin-off movie, ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ – which is set after ‘Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith’ but before the original ‘Star Wars’ – will feature Felicity Jones as new character Jyn, and Daisy thinks it is possible that the newcomer and Rey are related in some way.
Asked if Jyn could be Rey’s mother, she told Vulture: “I mean, I think historically it wouldn’t work, because she is … Darth Vader is there … so she would ultimately be my great-grandma; no, she would be my grandma.
“I mean it could happen, especially in a galaxy far, far away.”
Though the brunette beauty already knows how ‘Rogue One’ ends, she can’t wait to see the film because she has “no idea” what else features in the movie.
She said: “I am just excited to see how it is, because I have heard it is so so different, and its own thing.
“I have no idea what happens – I know the ending, but I have no idea really what happens in it.”
Daisy also revealed she has a secret talent – as a “wolf whisperer”.
She said: “Fun story. I went on a moonlit hike with wolves on Sunday at a wolf sanctuary outside of LA.
“We were walking with Willow, she is the very sedate one, and I went to say, ‘Hi.’ You had to be super-careful. She put her face in my face, and it was amazing.
“So I would like to say that animals respond well to me. Wolf whisperer — that sounds like that could be my name.”

Elliot Wright and Sadie Stuart planning two weddings

OHMYGOSSIP — Elliot Wright and Sadie Stuart are planning two weddings.
The couple – who got engaged in June after 10 months of dating – are set to wed in a romantic ceremony in the UK next year, with a lavish reception, before flying to Marbella for a party at his restaurant Olivia’s.
Sadie told OK! magazine: “I want to get married in England so all my family can come.”
Former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Elliot added: “So we’re now looking into both. She’s taking liberties – she wants an expensive wedding in the UK and then a big wedding party at Olivia’s in Spain! I don’t know what we’ll do!”
Elliot already has two children, Elliot, 10 and Olivia, seven, from a previous relationship and the couple are keen to have more children together soon.
Sadie said: “I would have six kids, but as Elliott’s got two already I would happily settle on four! Everyone in my family has more than four kids.”
Elliot said: “We’ll have one and see how it goes. Basically, I’ll be 60 with a walking stick by the time Sadie has had enough kids.”
Meanwhile, Elliot recently admitted his ‘TOWIE’ co-stars won’t be getting a wedding invitation.
He said: “I keep in touch with the ‘TOWIE’ lot to a certain degree but I wouldn’t say I’m close, I live in Spain now.
“They’ve got their own careers to get on.
“I’m not ruling out inviting them to the wedding but at the same time I’m not sure who’s on the list at the moment, so I can’t say.”

Sharon Osbourne: Honey G is like an upper

OHMYGOSSIP — Sharon Osbourne thinks Honey G has kept her place on ‘The X Factor’ because she makes people happy.
The 35-year-old rap artist – real name Anna Georgette Gilford – has divided the viewing public of the talent competition, but so far she has managed to avoid falling into the dreading sing-off, which her mentor thinks is because she acts as an “upper for everyone”.
Sharon, 64, told The Sun newspaper: “She is an upper for everyone. Love her or hate her people still want to see what she’s going to do next week.
“This is a singing contest but it’s also there for entertainment.”
And the judge – who now has only Honey G and Saara Aalto left in her category after Relley C was voted off the show last week – can’t wait to get her hands on her acts for next week’s fright night special.
She added: “I can be pretty wicked. No idea what I’ll do with Honey yet. I wonder if they’re allowed to dress up.”
The competition isn’t easy for the television host – who is married to rocker Ozzy Osbourne – as she finds it difficult to let go of her acts.
She said: “It doesn’t get any easier. You get attached and I remembered Relley from three years ago and when she turned up at the auditions.
“A lot of people come on the show and when they come off they’re a bit of a pain but this one’s a keeper.”
‘The Talk’ host has also previously admitted that her heavy workload takes a lot out of her, as she’s constantly flying between Los Angeles and London to film her projects.
She said: “It’s great to be back but it’s always, you know, you dread the Sundays.
“You forget, because the Saturday is always triumphant and then you go, ‘Oh s**t, it’s Sunday and I hate Sundays.’
“You have to stand up there and you get the old lump starting in your throat.”
‘The X Factor’ returns on Saturday (29.10.16) on ITV at 8pm, where the acts will take on songs with a ‘fright night’ theme.

Margot Robbie in talks for Peter Rabbit

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie is in talks to join the cast of ‘Peter Rabbit’.
The 26-year-old actress is reportedly in the final stages of talks to join Sony’s live-action and computer generated hybrid production which is an adaptation of the children’s tale penned by Beatrix Potter.
If Margot does sign a deal, she’ll join the previously announced cast of James Corden, Rose Byrne, Daisy Ridley, Domhnall Gleeson, and Elizabeth Debicki.
‘Peter Rabbit’ is being hailed as a modern interpretation of the original story – first published in 1902 – which will focus on the rivalry between the mischievous titular character and Mr. McGregor, a man trying to keep his garden free of rabbits.
The rabbit himself will be voiced by James, whilst Domhnall will play a live-action Mr. McGregor. Rose has been cast as a character named Bea – who is most likely a stand in for the author herself – and Daisy and Elizabeth’s roles have not yet been revealed.
Details of the character Margot would portray is being kept under wraps, but sources report she will be voicing a rabbit if she takes on the role.
Will Gluck is taking on directorial duties for the production, and is also producing the film alongside Animal Logic Entertainment.
Zareh Nalbandian, chief executive of Animal Logic, said of the project: “There are so many great characters in Beatrix Potter’s books that we’ll just be scratching the surface for what we can do. It’s a big film that will be more than a two-year endeavour for us.”
Will has also been finalising the latest draft of the script written by Rob Lieber, whilst Doug Belgrad is co-financing the project as well as executive producing through his 2.0 Entertainment banner.
The film is scheduled for release in April 2018 and coincides with the 150th anniversary of the birth of author-and-illustrator Potter – who died in 1943 at the age of 77.

The acclaimed filmmaker will co-write the script for the movie, based on the book by Philip Reeve and his longtime collaborator Christian Rivers is set to make his directorial debut with the project.
Peter said: “Christian is one of my closest collaborators. The combination of emotion and jaw-dropping visuals in ‘Mortal Engines’ makes this the perfect movie for his move into feature directing. What Christian intends to do with Philip Reeve’s terrific story is going to result in an original and spectacular movie. I wish I could see it tomorrow!”
The book is part of a series of four novels, which also includes ‘Predator’s Gold’, ‘Infernal Devices’, and ‘A Darkling Plain’.

Relley C blames cold on being voted off The X Factor

OHMYGOSSIP — Relley C thinks she would have got further in ‘The X Factor’ if she wasn’t sick.
The 26-year-old singer was battling with a cold in the run up to being sent home from the ITV talent show on Sunday night (23.10.16) and is “gutted” that her illness affected her performance.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Monday (24.10.16), she said: “Obviously I was a bit gutted because I’m only human.
“I’m just disappointed to have got sick at that stage of the competition.”
Despite being the third contestant to leave the show, Relley insists she has no bad blood between fellow contestants including Four of Diamonds, who she thinks have the “potential” to win.
She said: “I’ve seen those girls in rehearsals and they’re on point. They’ve got so much potential. They’re really really good.”
Relley failed to impress the judges with her rendition of ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’ and the panel opted to save the girl group after the sing-off.
Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell all opted to vote off Relley home, with only her mentor Sharon Osbourne wanting to see her through to next week.
Despite her upset at being voted off, Relley insisted she was happy to have made it past the first week.
She said: “From the start I said if can make it to the first live show I’d be happy… I could have done with a bit more time but I’m happy I got this far.”
Her mentor, Sharon, added: “She’s a strong girl and she’s a fighter.”
Relley’s departure was the first since voting changed to enable viewers to vote for their favourite acts from the beginning of Saturday (22.10.16) night’s show, rather than after the performances have all aired.
Next week will see the hopefuls perform tracks that fit the Fright Night theme.

CJ de Mooi will not be extradited to the Netherlands

OHMYGOSSIP — CJ de Mooi will not be extradited to the Netherlands.
The 46-year-old quizzer – whose real name is Joseph Connagh – was detained under a European arrest warrant at Heathrow Airport last month accused of manslaughter, murder, assault and battery in Amsterdam in 1988, but Dutch authorities have now reportedly abandoned the attempt to have him sent back to the European country.
The former ‘Eggheads’ star’s manager said: “CJ is obviously very pleased with the result of today’s hearing and will continue to co-operate with the Dutch authorities until this matter is finally concluded. He would like to thank the tens of thousands of people who have contacted him via social media and in person, for their lovely words and support during this traumatic time for him.”
The mastermind – who was born in South Yorkshire – revealed in his book ‘CJ – The Autobiography of CJ de Mooi’, which was published last September, that he may have a killed a man while he was living on the streets in Amsterdam two decades ago after he dragged the knife-wielding gentleman into a canal.
CJ, who now lives in Monmouthshire in south east Wales, wrote in his book: “He caught me on the wrong day and I just snapped. I fully suspect I killed him.”
The star appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court last month to hear his charges and was ordered to pay £5,000 security as a bail condition.
CJ’s lawyer jumped to his defence and said there was “a lot of missing information” as police didn’t have a named victim, date of birth or an address of where it took place.
Chris Stevens, representing CJ, explained: “The words were in his own book, the information provided in that book. There doesn’t appear to be a named victim in the warrant, date of birth or even an address where this matter took place. There isn’t anything to suggest the Dutch authorities are in a position to charge him with this.”
CJ was reportedly first approached by Scotland Yard for questioning by Dutch police in February this year and, although he agreed to be interviewed, he said he’ll only speak to officials if it’s in a formal setting with the “appropriate protection.”
However, he didn’t hear about the matter again and “carried on with his life as normal.”

Charlie Webster spoke to God in coma

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlie Webster thinks she spoke to God while she was in an induced coma.
The 33-year-old presenter was put in a deep state of unconsciousness at the beginning of August after she contracted malaria during a 3,000-mile charity cycle ride to Rio, Brazil, and is convinced her spirit started to detach from her body.
She said: “Each day when I was aware I thought I was somewhere else and this day I felt I was in this black room, I was in a dark room and I was having a conversation to death or God or who knows what it was. And they’re telling me, ‘It’s your time now, you’re finished.’ It said to me, ‘It’s time for you to go.’ And I said OK and accepted it, and within a split second I said, ‘No I cant yet. I cant I’ve got too much to do.’ And I feel that I made a decision to stay alive there and then.”
And, although she was in a medically-induced coma, Charlie has claimed she could still hear what was going on and tried to communicate with the doctors.
She said: “Even though I was in a coma I could hear things. I was paralysed. I tried to bash my hands so they could see I was still alive. I was just desperate to show I was still here so I bashed my hand and they had to put restraints on me.”
After the doctors in Brazil realised she was battling with malaria – a serious tropical disease spread by mosquitoes – she was treated immediately and, when she was well enough, she was moved back to an English hospital in an intensive care plane.
She’s now trying to get her life back on track but is still dealing with kidney failure and post traumatic stress (PTSD) as she remembers vividly her fight to stay alive.
She said: “I’m doing well, my kidneys are still recovering because I had kidney failure. I’m having a bit of PTSD at the moment because I keep having a lot of flashbacks. I just really appreciate being here, it was so overwhelming the amount of support I got.”
Charlie first realised she was unwell at the opening ceremony for the Rio Olympics on August 6 but she was initially treated for dehydration and exhaustion.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Monday (24.10.16), she said: “I arrived in Rio and just started feeling really ill, I just started to feel awful inside and I was bleeding from all parts of me. Mum flew over and I was lying there really anxious and my lungs started to collapse and I was on oxygen, and they said [mum] needed to sign a form for them to put me in a coma because my organs were shutting down.
“With the blood poisoning there’s no treatment for it, it was on the fifth day of my coma they found malaria. They thought I wasn’t going to pull through.”

Zoe Hardman names baby girl Luna

OHMYGOSSIP — Zoe Hardman named her daughter Luna because it came to her in a dream.
The 33-year-old presenter and partner Paul Doran-Jones welcomed their little girl into the world a month ago, and though they had previously introduced her to the world as ‘Little L’, the couple settled on her moniker when Zoe was 14 weeks pregnant.
The blonde beauty was on a charity trek in the Grand Canyon when “something really weird” happened – she had the same dream for two nights running in which she had a baby girl named Luna.
She said: “When I told [Paul], he was like, ‘I love that name.’
“And she’s such a Luna. She’s really majestic and beautiful and really calming. There’s a lovely aura about her and she’s a really chilled baby.”
Zoe had set her heart on a water birth and had undergone hypnobirthing sessions, but her labour didn’t go according to her plans and after a long, tough process that ended with Luna being delivered by forceps, she was left “traumatised” for some time after the little girl was born.
She told HELLO! magazine: “They don’t call it ‘labour’ for nothing and I’m sure everyone’s birth has its complications.
“But to be completely honest, I felt really quite traumatised afterwards. It was hardcore.
“It took me a while to process it and I had to keep talking about it and thinking about it.
“And I cried a lot about it because I was physically in a lot of pain and also mentally. I wanted to give birth in the water and I wanted to be really calm and it wasn’t.
“But I’ve processed it now and I feel really good.”
But the experience hasn’t put Zoe off wanting more children.
She quipped: “Next time around I’ll have an epidural and a cup of tea.”

Steven Spielberg compared to Charles Dickens

OHMYGOSSIP — Steven Spielberg has been described as a modern day Charles Dickens by his long-time collaborator Tony Kushner.
The 60-year-old American screenwriter worked with Spielberg on 2005 film ‘Munich’ and 2012’s ‘Lincoln’ and the pair have reunited to make ‘The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara’, an adaptation of David Kertzer’s 1997 Pulitzer Prize-winning book.
To Kushner, Spielberg’s body of work, which includes movies such as ‘E.T.’, ‘Jaws’ and ‘Jurassic Park’, is comparable to 19th century English writer Dickens who gave the world stories such as ‘Oliver Twist’, ‘A Christmas Carol’ and ‘Great Expectations’.
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph newspaper, Kushner said: “The reason I want to keep working with Steven is that he is always surprising me.
“I think it is not an exaggeration to compare him to Dickens – there is a narrative genius there, which isn’t a word I use very often.”
“With ‘Lincoln’, I wrote a 500-page screenplay, only the first fourth of which was about the fight of the 13th Amendment [the abolition of slavery]. I thought he would throw that out – it had the most political discussion – and go to the last section about Lincoln’s trip down to the front-lines, which is incredibly epic – but the debate is what most interested him.”
‘The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara’ is scheduled for release in 2017 and tells the story of the kidnapping of a young Jewish boy in Bologna, Italy, in 1858 who has been secretly baptized and taken from his family to be raised as a Catholic. However, his parents refuse to give up their son and battle to get him back pitting the Papacy against the democratic process and Italian unification as they fight for their child. .
For the project, Spielberg will be reunited with Mark Rylance once again who will play Pope Pius IX. The pair worked together on ‘Bridge of Spies’ and ‘The BFG’ and will do so again on ‘Ready Player One’.

Chris Pine set for A Wrinkle of Time

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Pine has joined the cast of ‘A Wrinkle of Time’.
The 36-year-old actor will star alongside Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling and newcomer Storm Reid in Disney’s adaptation of the 1962 children’s book.
The plot – adapted from the tome by Jennifer Lee – follows the Murry family, in particular Meg (Storm), her genius five-year-old brother Charles Murry and Meg’s classmate Calvin O’Keefe, as they look for their missing scientist father (Pine).
A visit from a mysterious old lady called Mrs. Whatsit (Reese) reveals that their father’s latest research has been successful and he is, in fact, travelling in space and time. The trio of kids then follow his journey to the planet Camazotz, ruled by a giant evil brain.
Pine is the second new casting in the past week as director Ava DuVernay confirmed British actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw – whose credits include roles in ‘Concussion’, ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Black Mirror’ – will play Dr. Kate Murry.
The 44-year-old filmmaker tweeted earlier this month: “‘Don’t hope it was a dream.’ Thrilled to confirm that Gugu Mbatha-Raw has joined #TeamWrinkle as Dr. Murry, Meg’s mom + brilliant scientist. (sic)”
Shooting for the film is set to kick off in Los Angeles next month, although a release date is yet to be given by Disney executives.

Holly Willoughby's cat is dead

OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Willoughby’s cat has died.
The ‘This Morning’ presenter broke down in tears on the brunch time show on Monday (24.10.16) as she recalled the shock death of her beloved kitty Roxy over the weekend.
She explained: “We went to sleep and we left her and when we got up she had passed away in her sleep. There had been nothing wrong with her. It was a real shock for every body. She was a big part of the family, always been there for the kids.”
Although she was heartbroken by the loss, the blonde beauty found it harder breaking the tragic news to her children Harry, seven, Belle, five, and Chester, two.
She said: “It was interesting breaking the news to them [the children]. For all of us, I think it was a very big life lesson. Belle was wailing, Harry was very quiet and didn’t really say a thing. But before bed he went, ‘I’ve been really brave today, I haven’t cried.’ And I said, ‘It’s OK, you don’t have to be brave.’ And then he went [started crying].”
And Holly wasn’t the only one to suffer a loss over the weekend as Ben Shephard – who is standing in for Phillip Schofield while he’s on holiday – was left devastated when his sons Jack, 11, and nine-year-old Sam’s rabbit was mauled by a fox.
He said: “We had some bad news last week as my sons’ rabbit was eaten by a fox.”
As a result of their tragic losses, the pair have decided to put on a call in session for viewers as they understand pet bereavement is something that affects a lot of people.
Holly said:”I feel a bit silly saying it because it’s only a cat but it’s part of your family. We thought we’d have a phone in of this today because it affects so many people.”

Four of Diamonds inspired by Little Mix

OHMYGOSSIP — Four of Diamonds have been studying Little Mix’s ‘X Factor’ performances.
The quartet – comprised of Caroline, 19, Lauren, 21, Yasmin, 17, and Sophia, 19 – admit the ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ hitmakers are a huge inspiration for them, as they are the first and only group to win the competition, which they did in 2011.
They said: “We’d been watching videos of them all week of their performances on ‘The X Factor’, they’d given us so much inspiration for our performance.”
“It’s nice to see their journey through the competition and that’s something we need to look at and take note from because they won and they are the only girl band who have won, so they’re a big inspiration for us.”
The group – who came into the competition late as replacement for axed finalists Brooks Way – insist they aren’t too upset by the harsh comments they have received from the judges so far, and the criticism only motivates them to work harder.
Speaking on ITV show ‘Lorraine’, they said: “I think criticism makes us work harder because we know we’ve got catching up to do, we haven’t had as much training, we know we need to work harder. unfortunately we were in the bottom two but we’re gonna come back next week and show what we do, in Judges Houses we lost ourselves a little bit.
“It’s motivation, it’s woke us up.”
And Four of Diamonds admit entering the finals after the other contestants has seen them struggle to establish a fanbase.
They said: “To be fair, the contestants are all so lovely, we felt really welcome when we went into the house.
“[But] It’s hard because we haven’t had the time to build our fanbase in the same way, so we can’t put ourselves across in the same way the other contestants can. But we’re so grateful for what we’ve had because it’s been amazing.”
The group couldn’t be happier to have Louis Walsh as their mentor.
They said: “Louis has been so nice to us, I know on camera he gets like…everyone jokes about Louis but he’s been incredible with us. He pulls us into his dressing room if he sees us walking along the corridor, he really cares.”

Beverley Callard banned from Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Beverley Callard has been banned from taking part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress has revealed bosses of the ITV soap won’t let her or the rest of the cast star in the ballroom and latin show because it’s screened on rival BBC.
Taking to her Twitter account over the weekend, she said: “I absolutely love ‘Strictly…’!”
Asked if she’d like to take part, she added: “Oh I’d love to but we’re not allowed.”
However, a spokesperson for the long-running show has claimed they’d never prevent their cast from taking part in other projects but prefer them to stick with the channel.
The representative explained to the Daily Star newspaper: “Our cast do appear on BBC shows but where possible we give precedence to ITV programmes.”
And Beverley isn’t the only one who would love to swap the soap set for the dance floor as Michelle Keegan was rumoured to be taking part in the competition four years ago when she was playing beautiful barmaid Tina McIntyre in the ITV programme.
A source said at the time: “The offer never got off the ground because they [ITV] wouldn’t release her from her contract. That goes for everyone else in the cast.”
However, after she quit ‘Coronation Street’ two years ago, it didn’t take the 29-year-old actress long to jump ship to the BBC as she took part in ‘Ordinary Lies’ last year and was most recently seen portraying army medic Georgie Lane in war drama ‘Our Girl’.
And her relationship with the BBC is set to continue as the brunette beauty has just agreed to reprise her role as the lance corporal in the third series of the drama.
The BBC announced the news on their official Twitter account after the second series wrapped earlier this month, writing: “We’re delighted to announce that #OurGirl will return to @BBCOne for a third series, starring @michkeegan as Georgie Lane (sic)”
