Nadia Sawalha had sex with husband before first date

OHMYGOSSIP — Nadia Sawalha had sex with her husband before they’d been on an official date.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist has admitted it was love at first sight when she first clapped eyes on her beau Mark Adderley while they were shooting a dating show together on location and, after working on 33 episodes, she forced him to join her upstairs in the bedroom because she couldn’t resist his irresistible charm any more.
Speaking on the lunchtime show on Friday (18.11.16), she said: “Mark was straight away. As soon as I saw my husband. He is a handsome guy as soon I saw him. He’s posh and he’s blonde and the first thing I thought was: ‘I like him, he will never like me.’ I thought he’d want one of those girls with a swinging pony tail and a tight bum and everything. It was a dating show and I was the presenter and nobody fancied the person we’d set them up with. But they all fancied my now-husband. They’d be like, ‘Oh he’s nice.’ And I’d say, ‘He is already with someone.’ He wasn’t but I just had this plan.
“And then a few weeks later we were filming together on one particular location and he said, ‘Shall we go to the bar’ and I said, ‘Shall we just go straight upstairs because it’s going to be really embarrassing when I say can we go upstairs later.’ I don’t know what overcame me, I am not that sort of person.”
And their relationship didn’t take too long to get off the ground as the 52-year-old presenter realised shortly afterwards that they were expecting a baby together.
She explained: “Then we were pregnant. Well, he wasn’t, I was. And then six months later I was pregnant and we were married and now we’ve been together for 14 years.”
Nadia and Mark got married in 2002 and have two daughters Maddy, 13, and Kikki, nine, who are both home schooled by the curly-haired beauty.

BBC couldn't afford Great British Bake Off

OHMYGOSSIP — The BBC couldn’t afford the ‘Great British Bake Off’ anymore.
The broadcaster’s director of content Charlotte Moore has admitted she and her team were “incredibly sad” to lose the baking show to its rival Channel 4 but they had no choice but to let it go because they couldn’t match or outbid their offer at the time.
Speaking at the Broadcast Commissioning Forum, she explained: “I can’t pretend that wasn’t a really upsetting moment. We made a really strong offer, but we don’t have infinite resources. I can’t just write a cheque for anything. I wouldn’t be able to do [our] distinctive range of programming if we just paid a lot for one show.”
Channel 4 are adamant the show, which they bought for an estimated £75 million in a three-year deal, will still be a success on their network as they’ve managed to bag the series’ judge Paul Hollywood, but Charlotte isn’t so convinced and thinks it’ll crash and burn following the departure of Mary Berry and hosts Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins.
She said: “I know that chemistry is a very delicate, fragile and precious thing.”
Mary, 81, announced she was turning her back on the programme out of “loyalty” to the BBC just three days after Mel and Sue pulled out for the same thing.
However, the ‘GBBO’ isn’t the only show the BBC have lost over the past 12 months as they’ve also managed to let their singing show ‘The Voice’ slip through their fingers.
But, despite their sadness, Charlotte believes the gaps in their schedules have just created more space for bigger and better shows to step into their shoes.
She said with a smile: “With ‘Great British Bake Off’ and ‘The Voice’ going [to different channels], there’s suddenly huge opportunity in entertainment. I’d love to find a big, new factual entertainment format to run in the middle of the week.”

Benedict Cumberbatch taught Judge Rinder his Strictly Come Dancing face

OHMYGOSSIP — Benedict Cumberbatch has been helping Judge Rinder with his routines on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ITV barrister – whose full name is Robert Rinder – has recruited his close friend to help him master his facial expressions on the dance floor to ensure he lifts the prestigious glitterball trophy next month.
Speaking on the ballroom and latin programme’s spin-off show ‘It Takes Two’ on Thursday (17.11.16) night, he said: “He [Benedict] did help me with some faces for my Paso Doble, to get into the dramatic performance of it, and we improved that week, so…”
While the ‘Sherlock’ star might be the culprit for Judge Rinder’s comedic face expressions on the show, he has admitted he can’t take any praise for his friend’s energetic dance moves as he previously revealed he is “nowhere near his standards” and is adamant he’d never join the programme.
Previously praising his friend’s moves, he shared: “He’s a friend, I am so proud of him! I watched a bit of [his court show] ‘Judge Rinder’ but I know Rob Rinder and watching him on this is phenomenal.”
Benedict met Rinder at university in Manchester and they’ve been friends ever since.
The Hollywood hunk even asked the law professional to be his best man at his wedding when he tied the knot with his beautiful partner Sophie Hunter last year.
A source said at the time: “Benedict had three best men, but only one was famous – and that was Judge Rinder. There was speculation that he chose another actor, but he wanted genuine old friends in the role. They kept it pretty quiet. They were friends before either found fame.”

Eddie Redmayne doesn't want to 'let down' J.K Rowling

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Redmayne doesn’t want to let J.K Rowling down.
The 34-year-old actor – who stars as magizoologist Newt Scamander in ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ – admits he is feeling the pressure of being part of the project and desperately wants to impress the author.
He said: “It’s J.K Rowling’s world and I think she’s a genius. I love everything that she’s done.
“And now I’m getting to enter it; I don’t want to be the one who lets that down. I’m not the sort of person who can go, ‘This one’s for fun!’ But I am trying to learn to enjoy it.”
The film – which is set in 1926 – sees Newt stop in New York after a successful mission to hunt down magical creatures. But things don’t go quite to plan when his magical case goes missing and the fantastic beasts escape.
Speaking about the film’s concept, he added: “Certainly some of the themes are more adult. There is a darkness to it, there are comedic elements to it, there’s a romantic side to it, there’s a thriller quality and yet at the end, when I saw the final cut, I was deeply moved by it.”
And Redmayne is ready for his character to soon be immortalised in merchandise and admits he already has his own Newt figure.
He told the i newspaper: “We’ve got him but he doesn’t have freckles, so my wife painted freckles on him. One can be cynical [but] as a kid growing up… I flippin’ loved [the 1980s cartoon] Thundercats! I wanted every single toy! They gave me so much pleasure.”

Dev Patel 'flattered' by Oscar buzz for Lion

OHMYGOSSIP — Dev Patel is “flattered” by the Oscar buzz surrounding ‘Lion’.
The 26-year-old actor – who plays Saroo Brierley in the drama film – is thrilled people have responded well to his performance in the movie and was only too happy to share the story of Saroo.
He told the New York Times: “It’s totally flattering, but I didn’t sign up for this role because I thought I was going to get an Oscar.
“That was the last thing on my mind. When I read the script, I was a puddle of tears. I couldn’t believe this was a true story. We were all in it because we loved these people, and we wanted to live in their skin for a year of our lives.”
Meanwhile, Patel previously revealed he became “a man” when he filmed ‘Lion’.
He said: “After the audition, [Davis] said ‘If we decide to go with you. I really want you to change.’ He said he wanted to see a Dev Patel that no one has ever seen before. I became a man, really.”
Patel was one hundred per cent committed to the movie and after finding out he had got the role, he called his manager and told him to clear his schedule for the “next eight months”.
He explained: “I called my manager straight after I walked out of the audition and told him that if I get it, don’t send me anything for the next eight months. Don’t distract me with any other work or audition. Journeys like this don’t come around very often for someone who looks like I do.”
Saroo, who the movie is based on, wanted it to depict the reality of his situation.
Speaking about the movie, he shared: “I think the thing that I really wanted, along with my family, is that the film came out the way it had been in reality.”

Ezra Miller: Harry Potter helped me 'escape' the school bullies

OHMYGOSSIP — Ezra Miller says the ‘Harry Potter’ series helped him escape his school bullies.
The 24-year-old actor – who stars as Credence – in the new Harry Potter spin-off film ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ – was just seven-years-old when his father read him the first novel about the boy wizard.
He told the Metro newspaper: “During middle school I would listen to Harry Potter every single day. It was my escape. I went through a really intense period of being bullied in school. I had a stutter when I was a kid.
“What cured my speech impediment was singing, which led me to being a kid obsessed with opera, so that didn’t help! Then my voice changed, which meant that I couldn’t be in the opera, but it also meant that I had hormones that made me realise that I was attracted to a bunch of different people and not all of them were just one gender.”
Meanwhile, Ezra previously revealed he sought advice from Emma Watson when he found out he had been cast in ‘Fantastic Beasts…’
He said: “Eddie Redmayne had stolen my thunder because he’d already talked [to Emma] because he was cast long ago and he told her I was already cast so she already knew. Outrageous!
“She was delighted; she knew what the books had meant to me as a young person so she could imagine how much joy I was feeling. She said wonderful things about Jo, about David [Yates] and about Eddie. She worked with Eddie on ‘My Week With Marilyn’. She just told me to buckle my seatbelts on all of my limbs and digits and prepare for a fun ride. Keep my hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times.”

EastEnders' Samantha Womack joins musical

OHMYGOSSIP — Samantha Womack is set to star in ‘The Addams Family’ musical.
The ‘EastEnders’ actress is set to bow out of the long-running soap as feisty blonde bombshell Ronnie Mitchell early next year and, although she only made the announcement last month, she’s already been snapped up to portray Morticia Addams in the ghoulish production.
Samantha isn’t the only big name to join the show either, as ‘Coronation Street’ star Les Dennis will portray Uncle Fester, while Tom Fletcher’s sister Carrie Hope has also agreed to star in the musical.
The show, directed by Matthew White, will launch at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh on April 20, 2017, but the first official first night will be held at New Wimbledon Theatre on May 16.
However, although they’ve secured their cast, producers are still being struck blows as the script – penned by Marshall Brickman, Rick Ellce and Andrew Lippa – is said to have had extensive re-writes since it was criticised following its stint on Broadway, according to the Daily Mail newspaper.
Meanwhile, Samantha’s gig on stage will be her first major role after her exit from the soap.
It’s not yet known how the 44-year-old actress will bow out of the programme but it’s believed her alter-ego, which she has played for nine years, will meet a grisly end at the start of 2017 along with her sister Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons) when they take their final breaths under water.
Rita has also decided to take a similar route after her exit as she too will join a West End production.
The 39-year-old actress is set to portray Paulette, the beautiful manicurist looking for love, in the theatrical version of the hit film ‘Legally Blonde’ for seven months from next September.
The production will kick off in Bromley towards the end of 2017 and will tour the UK, stopping off at theatres in High Wycombe, Bristol and Woking among other major venues until April 2018.

Ed Balls wants David Cameron for Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Balls wants David Cameron to go on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 49-year-old politician is currently taking part in the ballroom and latin show and thinks the former Prime Minister and Conservative MP should give it a go next year.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “I’m trying to recommend doing Strictly to David, but only if he can laugh at himself. I do think it would be great for him.”
Meanwhile, Ed – who will jive with his partner Katya Jones in Blackpool on Saturday evening (19.11.16) – previously revealed he has been put on a booze ban.
He shared: “My days of two hours’ sleep in Blackpool are long gone. Katya would absolutely not approve, she thinks we should be calling it an early night at 11 o’clock and she thinks Ovaltine [a malted drink] is a better nightcap than anything else. So unfortunately I’m going to be in a strict regime in Blackpool. I’m on the Katya curfew this time, it’s probably the only way I’m going to survive this jive.
“I’ve been to Blackpool a lot because every other year Labour had our party conference there. I’ve got loads of stories about my time in Blackpool but they’re not printable. I remember being in the Metropole Hotel knowing it was time to finally go to bed when the camera crews were setting up BBC Breakfast News at five in the morning. We’d go catch a couple hours of sleep before coming back down again with Gordon Brown when he was going on air.”
Ed is looking forward to doing his jive during the show but admits the fast speed required for the dance is “very tough” for him.
He explained: “It’s a jive so it’s very fast and, according to Katya, it’s very tough. The piano coming down was a surprise to me but I’ve come to terms with it.
“It’s a very dance intensive but there’s also a bit of Elvis thrown in and The Housemartins in the dance, which Katya didn’t get because she wasn’t even born then.
“She asked me to show her my moves and she incorporated them into the dance. It’s a move I did as a 20-year-old student.”

Lisa Snowdon 'left it too late' to have kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Lisa Snowdon thinks she’s left it “too late” to have children.
The 44-year-old model has admitted she’d love nothing more than to become a mother but she believes her chances of starting her own family naturally are long gone now because she never found the right partner to settle down with before she hit her 40s.
Speaking to her camp mates in the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ jungle in Thursday (17.11.16) night’s show, she said: “[I don’t want] children] now. It’s a weird one because it’s so hard. I left it kind of late. I didn’t find anybody that I wanted to actually be with and I didn’t want to have kids to just [to have kids], I wanted that unit kind of thing.”
And, although she’s dealt with the fact she’ll probably never have children of her own, Lisa has admitted coming to the realisation she’ll never give birth has been “hard.”
She explained: “Children enrich your life so much, so of course I wanted to be a mum. But it didn’t work out for me in that way. It’s tricky. It is hard. It’s not like I’ve got a heart of stone where it’s like, ‘No, I don’t need them. I don’t want them in my life.’ It’s been something that I’ve had to deal with. It’s not always as simple as, ‘I didn’t want children.'”
However, despite never settling down and starting a family, Lisa has never been short of male attention, as over the years she’s enjoyed a string of high-profile romances with the likes of George Clooney, David Walliams and footballer Jay Bothroyd.
The brunette beauty is now dating her close friend George Smart, who she met when she made her presenting debut on MTV, and is already said to be “smitten” with him.
A source said recently: “Lisa got really hurt when she split with her ex and she started growing close to George again. She has always liked him but things really took off between them at the end of last year. They went on holiday to Ibiza together in June and it made her realise how special he is. She is smitten.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Moffatt is battling with facial paralysis.
The ‘Gogglebox’ star is currently taking part on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ but she’s already been ruled out of a bushtucker trial, which sees stars race against the clock to rack up meals for camp while sharing the area with a series of creepy crawlies, on medical grounds following an on-going issue with her face drooping.
She said: “I can’t close my left eye properly. I have to sleep with a little eye mask and my mouth still goes to the side when I talk, although people don’t really notice. If I’m tired, my left eye feels a little bit twitchy, but I don’t get pain or slur my words. I don’t feel sorry for myself, as there are so many worse afflictions people can get.”
The 26-year-old beauty has been dealing with an intermittent numb face since the age of 11 after she was struck down with Bell’s Palsy – a condition that causes partial paralysis on one side of the face – following a brutal car accident on her push bike.
According to the MailOnline, she said: “I was doing a performance for my mum and dad – I used to put on little shows for them – when all of a sudden, my mouth just drooped and I remember standing in front of the mirror and just screaming. My eye dropped, I couldn’t speak properly, I got all slurred, and my mum and dad thought I was putting it on. I was screaming so loud to try to get my mouth to go straight. I burst into tears and then they realised. It was awful.”
Despite her medical condition, Scarlett – who has been in the jungle for five days – has already settled into camp life and has has proved a huge hit with viewers.

Idris Elba's new film get disappointing box office return

OHMYGOSSIP — Idris Elba’s new film ‘100 Streets’ took just £245 at the box office in its opening weekend.
The 44-year-old actor produced and stars in the gritty drama as Max – a former rugby ace who is battling a drug addiction and the prospect of losing everything – and before being released the movie attracted lots of attention for a having a very graphic sex scene between Idris and his co-star Gemma Arterton, who plays Max’s estranged wife Emily, in which the hunk bares his buttocks.
However, the prospect of seeing Idris nude hasn’t been enough to attract the public to the cinema and since it was released across the UK last Friday (11.11.16) it has had very few viewers.
The movie is also available to download on Sky and iTunes which means there is less inclination for paying customers to leave their homes to watch the drama.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “To put it frankly, the figures are embarrassing. It’s not the first time Idris has failed to earn big numbers at the box office. He is a massive film star but poor results like this are going to be detrimental to his career … ‘100 Streets’ has already been released on Sky and iTunes, so fans are going to be even less inclined to watch it at the cinema.”
Despite the widespread attention the sex scene garnered, Emily, 30, admitted shooting the raunchy sequence with Idris was the “most unsexy thing ever” and she spilled that he had to wear a special “sock” to cover his manhood.
She previously said: “I had to so a sex scene with Idris Elba in ‘100 Streets’ and it’s so awkward. They shout ‘cut’ and you’re on top of each other and you’re like, ‘Oh, hello. Erm, would you like me to get you that little sock thing you had on before? Could you pass me a cardigan?”
Idris is currently working on ‘The Dark Tower’ – an adaptation of Stephen King’s fantasy book series of the same name – and ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, the third ‘Thor’ film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Joel Dommett's ex approves of Carol Vorderman romp

OHMYGOSSIP — Joel Dommett’s ex girlfriend has backed his budding romance with Carol Vorderman on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’
The 30-year-old comedian has been flirting up a storm with the former ‘Countdown’ presenter – who is 25 years his senior – as they are the only single camp mates on this year’s series of the ITV jungle-based show, and his ex-girlfriend Natalie Noir just wants him to do “whatever he feels is right”.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Natalie said: “You can’t tell your heart what to do.
“It’s not just about age, it’s about different things which people like about each other.
“He’s a single guy. He can do whatever he wants, whatever he feels is the right thing for him.”
Joel is no stranger to relationships with older women as he previously dated a 34-year-old doctor when he was just 22, and said he likes older women because “they’ve sorted their life”.
Shortly before heading into the jungle, Joel said: “When I was 22 I dated a 34-year-old. It was very exciting. I think it’s just nice because older ladies they’re sorted. They’ve sorted their life.
“But dating anyone that’s older than you it means it’s just nice cause they’ve got their s**t together and it’s taken them a while and they know what they want.
“And it’s lovely.”
And if Joel and Carol do decide to make the most of their time in the jungle, they can use the newly implemented sex cave for some privacy.
Producer Oli Nash said of the new addition to the camp layout: “Next door to the shower is a secret cave which will be hidden behind a locked door. It will be used a number of times throughout the series for our celebrities.
“Inside it is just a plain cave with a bench but we will be using it throughout the series for various events. The floors a bit hard – but it can be used for romance.”

Ola Jordan 'can't wait' to be a mother

OHMYGOSSIP — Ola Jordan “can’t wait” to be a mother, according to husband James Jordan.
The 34-year-old professional dancer – who married her spouse in 2003 – is desperate to start a family and, despite doing “loads of practising”, the blonde beauty has put motherhood on hold because she wanted to compete on ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’ before settling down.
Speaking about the couple’s family plans, an insider told the Daily Star Online: “She can’t wait to become a mum and James is right behind her.”
And Ola’s 38-year-old partner has revealed she quit ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, which she had appeared on for nine years, because she wanted to have a baby.
James said: “Ola quit ‘Strictly’ because she wanted to have a baby.
“We are doing loads of practising but she wanted to do ‘I’m A Celebrity’ first.”
However, the Poland-born star has hinted she feels a lot of pressure to have children, but she just wants to “enjoy” her time alone with James for the time being.
Speaking previously about her future plans, she said: “Coming out of ‘Strictly’ means I still want to enjoy my time with James. I’m at that age now where people expect you to be pregnant or have a child. People say ‘Hurry up. You’re not getting any younger’.
“Every time we see my dad he says: ‘Where’s the baby?'”
But Ola has admitted she is not offended when people quiz her about starting a family because the pair have been married for 13 years and knew each other four years prior to tying the knot.
She explained: “It’s not rude for people to ask us though, as we’ve been married so long.”

James Franco to direct The Pretenders

OHMYGOSSIP — James Franco is set to direct ‘The Pretenders’.
The 38-year-old actor will head behind the camera for the ’80s style romantic drama, adding another directing project to his already long list of credits in the role which previously included ‘As I Lay Dying’, ‘In Dubious Battle’, and ‘Zeroville’.
Also announced are the three starring roles, which will go to rising stars Jack Kilmer, Shameik Moore, and Jane Levy. Alongside them, Brian Cox and Juno Temple will also feature in the movie.
‘The Pretenders’ was written by Josh Boone – who previously directed the hit young adult movie ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ – and is set in New York City in the 1980s. It follows two college friends (Kilmer and Moore) who fall in love with the same girl (Levy), which creates a unique love story between the threesome that spans a decade.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the script for the movie has been circulating since 2013, and has had various loose actor attachments throughout the years with nothing firm ever being put in place.
The movie is being produced in a co-production effort between SSS Entertainment, Rabbit Bandini Productions, and Yale Productions. SSS Entertainment are putting forward Shaun Sanghani, Vince Jolivette and Jay Davis are producing from Rabbit Bandini, and Yale is sending in Jordan Yale Levine. The producing team will work alongside Katy Leary and Scott Levenson.
Meanwhile, James was confirmed earlier this year to be playing the role of a vengeful criminal in the new sci-fi thriller movie ‘Kin’, alongside Jack Reynor, Zoe Kravitz, and Dennis Quaid.
News of James’ new roles both on-screen and off-screen comes after he previously admitted that his behaviour on film sets in the past has been less than co-operative, but that he’s now learnt the error of his ways.
Speaking at the time, he said: “I’ll admit I was not a team player. A lot of it, I think, just had to do with being obnoxious when the camera was on someone else. Maybe I’d eat a banana in the background that would take focus away from other actors. I didn’t think about it that way, but now I could say, ‘Look, the scene’s not about me, it’s about them, just chill out, James. Don’t eat a f***ing banana.'”

Adam Driver: 'Being in a film set is weird'

OHMYGOSSIP — Adam Driver feels “weird” being on a film set.
The 32-year-old American actor has admitted he feels strange shooting scenes for a new movie because he feels he enters into a “bubble of time”, which is unlike “normal life”, and when he stops filming he falls into a “blues period” and struggles to adapt to “real life” again.
Speaking about the film industry, the dark-haired hunk said: “Being in a film set is weird, because you’re in a kind of bubble of time where it’s not like normal life.
“You wake up and somebody is getting you food. You’ve memorised lines alone in your room, now you’re doing it in front of people. It’s all day long, 12 hours a day, and you go to sleep and you wake up and you go back to work. In a sense you are very disconnected with what is going on in the world at large, but within that kind of world you’ve created, every second seems to be accounted for.
“Then you get back into the real world and none of those things or people are around. And you know they’ll never get together again. Everyone is together, for that one moment in time, and then you have to move in. There’s always a blues period afterwards, where that excitement and adrenaline level is down, and then everyone moves on to something else.”
Despite feeling a sense of loss after finishing a film, the ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ star – who plays Kylo Ren in the fantasy film – doesn’t watch the movies he’s starred in because he was in a “different time” when it was produced and he doesn’t want to see how the editing has changed the final outcome.
Adam – who is married to Joanne Tucker – explained to Shortlist magazine: “I also try not to watch anything that I’m in, because it was such a different time when we made it.
“I try not have any control over what happens to it afterwards.
“Watching it, sometimes it’s so different to what I had in mind, and I see things I want to change, but you can’t.
“I think about it for a couple of months afterwards and then I won’t watch anything for the next couple of years.”
